I work for clients that arent able to do self installs. I set up the accts. The rep never explained that the customer has to be present or have an authorized user in the system. I have picked up equip. Multiple times. Even by phone depending on the Rep that picks up how smoothly the assistance go. Yes I understand procedure and liabilities. Explain them and neither is an issue. Services are too expensive to aggravated your Paying customers...
Given wrong equipment which knocked out our phones. Three days to get it straight. Finally asked for a tech. They said they set it up and would call us. No call, so we called and was told he never put the request through. He openly lied to us. He was rude also. However, the tech that we finally got was excellent in every way.
Dealt with 9 different representatives. 3 supervisors promised follow-ups, 0 follow through. Signed a 2 year agreement and am paying for services they are not providing. No one taking ownership or trying to rectify the issue. In-store personnel proposed solution to my problem by trying to offer me more services (Peacock streaming). They wanted to double charge me for the same service to reactivate it, even though I am already paying for it.
I went in to pay my cable bill my first time coming in the store I dont like the self posting machine. I feel like seeing an employee face to face to pay your bill. Did not know how to use it. The employee that helped me acted like he didnt really want to help at all. Just made me mad. And it took longer then u would if u was face to face with somebody paying your bill. U should take that machine away.
The worst company In the entire world. I hate them. They dont care about there customers only money. They give you broken/wrong equipment them charge the customer for breaking it, when i never work in the first place. You cant even talk to a person only Machines in stores or on the phone.i wish i had more networks to choose from. I hate comcast!!!!
My husband has wanted to switch to Xfinity Mobile for a long time. Ive been a long time Verizon customer and was very hesitant... However, I decided to hear them and made an appointment online for the following day. I was very impressed that my name was called AT THE TIME OF MY APPOINTMENT. I dont remember the mans name who helped us but he was awesome. Super nice, knowledgeable and fast. My husband opted to keep his phone and I was upgrading mine. We were in and out in FIFTEEN MINUTES! Not going to lie, I totally thought wed be there well over an hour, like we usually are at Verizon. Weve had them now a little over a week and so far zero complaints. The service is great, no dropped calls, etc..... oh and the best part? The monthly bill wont make me cry anymore, haha. Anyway, Id recommend.
The worst, transferred cell service and bought an iPhone 12Pro it’s been a disaster since day one. Had the phone a week now being told I need to go to Apple warranty to get a defective phone that has not worked properly out of the box fixed. Completely inadequate staff, management never shows their face, and don’t even follow their own policies. Don’t sell equipment you cannot setup or service properly within your 14 day return/exchange policy. Couldn’t even navigate a simple return of an accessory with the original receipt.
Went to update my plan and changed some things and went back 2 weeks later to modify the plan and got a better deal thanks to three professionals that made the experience pleasant. Each of the individuals went above and beyond to explain everything and make the most my budget and plan. Thank you to Arthur, Billy, and Anthony who worked quickly, friendly, and knowledgeable to meet the needs of loyal customer. Thank you.
Needed assistance with my cable bill. I mailed out my bill along with other bills on June 23rd. All my checks cleared on June 30th except Comcast. Then I got another bill in the mail and a late fee charge was added. The worker told me at Comcast everyone tells them that same story. But the only difference is if you look at my payment history, there has never been a late fee charged on my account. The worker said I would have to pay it immediately or Ill have to pay the late fee. So I paid it again. I contacted the post office too about this situation, with no luck! Low and behold on July 22nd the check that was originally lost in the mail showed up and was cashed by Comcast. So where was my check all of this time? So I went back to Comcast to get a receipt showing I was paid up for the next payment which was due August 8th.
The guy that took care of us was rude with a terrible attitude. No greeting, no personality, horrible customer service. I came real close to getting myself in trouble. Unnecessary aggravation. Needs to change. I hope this changes the next time I go there. Ive been there in the past and never had a problem. Not at all happy with this visit.
The store manager at this location is excellent. She took time to identify the best cellular and home options for myself and my family. It took us a while to decide on plans for each area but her attention to detail was nothing less than superb. If anything else is needed, Ill definitely go back here.
I was pleasantly surprised by not only how nice and updated the inside of this location was but how much they have in the store for you to experience like Xfinity Home demo’s and a bunch of extras for the regular cable services like their different remotes and such. Most of all I liked how quickly the queue moved. This place always seems to be busy with people returning their equipment to just needing help with their services. My last interaction was with a rep for Xfinity Mobile and she was great and got me setup on a new plan pretty quickly. My overall advice is to just be prepared to wait as this is not a walk in and be seen right away type location, although they move through their list at a good timeframe.
I was slammed with automatic payments even after I explained to the representative that I did not want that.Due to the information being saved on my account from past payments she signed me up without my consent. Horrible service I went back to confront her and she was rude saying well you should have never had it saved so it’s your fault. Rude and unprofessional
Only meeting with customer service you have to make an appointment through internet or by one calling the store. Once inside you will courteously greeted and taken care of.P.S. As I was informed by customer service, if you get internet from ComcastFYIDXfinity you will have to purchase your own computer security program for they will no longer provide.
The only reason I gave 1 star is because you have to. Absolutely horrible service, the website tells you one thing, the customer service line something different and the store something else entirely. Clearly a corporate breakdown. Maybe if the left hand knew what the right hand was doing I wouldnt have wasted a Sunday afternoon.
My wife and I were helped by a customer rep. by the name of Alex, he was very helpful and took the time to talk to us and explain everything on our bill and answer all of our questions. I highly recommend the xfinity store on rt. 30 in joliet for all your cable questions and needs.
While this should come as no surprise to anyone, but Comcast needs to seriously consider their customer service abilities, especially in light that it is easily less expensive to cut the cord and focus on getting such entertainment elsewhere.Considering that I was moving, and do not currently have a need for their service at my temporary residence, I simply wanted to return my equipment, AFTER I had already cancelled service via telephone. While they happily received my equipment shortly upon entering, I then proceeded to have to wait over 30 minutes just to get another receipt confirming the acceptance of the returned equipment.Of course, in that time, which should have been a quick couple minute process, my 5 year old needed to use the washroom, in which the attendant was so polite to tell my wife that she was simply far too busy to allow my child some reprieve, and instead sent them on their merry way to the restaurant a few doors down.When we move, once again, I can say with certainty that I will NOT be offering Comcast my money for any future cable or internet needs. I would rather deal with slower service at home than such ridiculously indifferent and slow service at one of their storefronts.
Terrible. I was forced to go into this store to pickup my router because my address was entered wrong by the person over the phone so this was my nearest locationi paid the fee to avoid the credit check i just needed to pickup the router. Upon arrival after a 20 minute wait i sat with a lady who verified my info later to find out she ran my credit. After i had paid the fee to avoid the credit check.I received a call from a manager of the store who stated that the employee will be talked to and he will fill out a credit form to get the inquiry off. How many months later and its still on there? When you call you dont reach an actual location you run into the same idiots who work out of this country who entered the address wrong in the first place. Not to mention after the first month of service my bill was raised.TERRIBLE, THIS WILL MAKE YOU SWITCH TO ANOTHER PROVIDER AND NOT LOOK BACK
Horrible customer service. Slow response and no equipment. Called the main 800 number and was told my equipment was in stock but it was not. This has happened before. Asked for a card from the manager and was given a power play of not releasing her business card to me. When I asked for my original equipment back they bagged it up but I realized they didn’t give me the power cords. Now I have to head back. Can I give 0 stars? If I go back it’s Naperville. Much better reviews if I decide to stick with Comcast.
Got a phone call saying they could move me to blast internet, with no additional cost. Asked several times about no additional cost. Got my bill and not only got charged for blast, but also for tv which was never discussed. Called to argue the bill. Was told dont worry it would be fixed, they had to figure out how to get back my old package. And I would be credited the difference. Got the next bill, no credit same charges. Called again. Told to move be back to what I had would cost me an additional $40 a month and I should just keep what I have, or buy my own modem and drop my bill by $10. Talked to three different managers, including the retention department...and was told the same thing every time.
Had to set up an appointment just for a few questions. I called Xfinity customer service to talk to them and got all of my questions answered. Decided to stick with my appointment to look at phones and deals. An employee lied straight to my face when asking a question I already knew the answer for, trying to convince me to buy an Xfinity phone with one of their deals
Worst customer service ever. I signed up for a new “package” (marketing games to force you to purchase the service they want you to have by setting price points for lesser services so high that you purchase higher priced packages) that included “unlimited internet” only to find myself receiving $90 overage fees for one month. The lady at Comcast in Joliet very clearly told me that if I upgrade to the package with unlimited internet that it would be unlimited. A month later I started receiving messages that my data usage was close to exceeding the limit, so I called “customer service”. The nice person from India told me this was an error and confirmed I had unlimited internet. She said she fixed the problem and not to worry. Well, a few months later with more of the warnings coming in for data usage overage, I received a $90 charge for exceeding the monthly allowance. I called “customer service “ again and after 1 hour and 40 minutes on the phone (yes I have screen shots) I learned I don’t have unlimited data and the charges will remain. I hate Comcast!!!! I will replace their service or limit it until I can permanently replace them. Buyer be aware - stay away from Comcast!!! My rating is 0 Stars!
Well after 3 control boxes that take care of the wifi and phone in my home and about 3 1/2 hours on my cell phone I finely have my home phone and my internet back. And great news I got $17.40 for not having my home ( land line) my time does not mean anything to them the cost of my cell phone and my time about 3 1/2 hours all I got was sorry we do not do anything for your time and $17.40 for not having service. If I had a was to get other internet service I would cancel my comcast in a hart beat the customer service sucks and there technically help does not speak English they are Chinese or something like that if the was something else for internet. At&t is coming soon I hope
If your going with the expectation to walk in and and out please second guess. This is a company that has millions of customers and many of them from the Joliet and surrounding areas are there for many of the same reasons as you if not maybe more. Some interactions may take longer than others depending on the situation. If you want to be seen before anyone that has already been waiting make an appointment. If you want to make a payment go online, call, mail it, pay through the app, or if you have X1 pay from your tv rather than wasting time and has to pay there. You dont have bank get a money order from Walmart they cost literally under or around a $1. Treat people the way you want to be treated at your place of work and dont yell at them they are only doing their job to help you. 👌🏼XFINITY has top of the line services and you will have to pay for good service. Nothing is free
THE COMCAST MOBILE SCAM CONTINUES CHARGED AGAIN YESTURDAY ANOTHER $165.00I was SCAMMED by comcast Mobile this past month bad!!!!. They billed me a total of $594.00 and only credited me back $75.00 when I returned the phone and said I decided to not use their service. They told me return the 2 phones and they would credit my account $594.00. Since then the billed me another $350.00 and automatically took right out of my credit card with no notice. After fighting all weekend They said phones were returned damaged. WE NEVER USED THEM!!!! RUN FROM THIS COMPANY LIKE A DEADLY VIRUS!!!!
Great experience and amazing deals lately!Yes you have to wait at times however Joliet alone has a population of 150,000 plus surrounding areas so they do the best with what theyre given.Keep up the great work guys!Also keep in mind no other places have stores like this including MetroNet, Dish, and the god awful company that is Att/DirecTV.
Lied to by salesmen All I wanted was basic cable 29 + tax & equip rental. Told I had to get internet LIE got a bill for 110 Charged for internet I NEVER used Call office told another story COMCAST employs LIARS PERIOD . When U call them all U get us run around & put on hold ,switched to different departments all wi tut h different storys LIARS PERIOD
My goal for 2018 us to cut the cable cord. I exchanged 3 pieces of equipment, Kelly did not process correctly and wreaked havoc on my cable tv. Boxes were shut down cuz she did not process serial numbers correctly. Should have not issued X1 equipment if I am still using Legacy equipment. 6 reps later, 8 hours of phone calls and 3 techs at my house, seems to be working. Oh, you want to charge me $180 in service calls....HELL no Xfiniity. John Crowley himself needs to fix this chaos.
This is by far the WORST broadcasting network EVER. Save your money and get a Netflix account...HULU...Amazon TV or a Firestick. They On Demand selection is limited. Whats only available to you is what Comcast actually payed for to be released to the public. meanwhile the shows are available everywhere else the very next day. I shouldnt have to pay for a DVR service to ensure I can enjoy my cable. The picture breaks up like you have a Dish and they are the MOST expensive service with the worst Service and CUstomer Service

2022-07-064 modems over the course of a year and a half, first two were defective, third was great and then all of a sudden after receiving the 4th updated modem you cant rely on the network for anything. 1200mbps us great, at least when it works and doesnt drop every half hour or buffer randomly. If they werent the only option around here Im sure any other alternative would satisfy.

2022-08-11Terrible experience with Donat Ramadani at this XFINITY store. Could have cared less and would not listen or offer any help. A total waste of time on my part. Problem was solved online with a very professional customer service rep. Sad that this is the type of service that represents Xfinity.

2022-05-15Xfinity customer service is a joke. Went in to return a router, and asked for a reciept. Was told to have a seat and he would bring me one in a couple of minutes. 30 minutes later, the representative still hadnt brought one up so I walked up and asked him for one and he said oh give me a minute my system just went down. So he hand wrote me a receipt and said I was all good. A few days later I got a call from Xfinity asking if I was going to return my box. I told them that I did, they asked me to email them a copy of the receipt and when and where I returned it. So I emailed them everything they asked for. A few days later I received another email from Xfinity asking for a copy of the receipt, when and where and who I return the box to. I politely responded that per the previous email I gave all the information that was asked, and re-attached the receipt again.

2022-03-29Went in to discuss my bill stuck waiting a half an hour while employee cleaned instead of helped customers. Finally “helped” spent 30 minutes while he attempted to add hardware onto my account when I never wanted any and just wanted to know why my bill went up. Avoid this location at all costs!

2022-04-18Without a doubt I’ve never been lied to more on so many levels by any consumer organization. No one cares. After multiple failed assurances I canceled my mobile service and my new Mobile phone. Guess what….they just billed me again and my canceled $1k+ iPhone Pro Max is being delivered tomorrow. I now have to take more time and visit that horror-show again for the 5th time. I personally visited the Joliet,IL store twice just to ensure neither would happen. I was again promised that all was canceled. Prior issues were never resolved. I confronted them in a “non Karen” way about the falsehoods starting with the salesperson. No denials and almost the impression of “well dude, you fell for it.” Go Verizon. Go tin can and string. Never use Xfinity for Mobile. They do not value customers. They’re clearly not managed or evaluated in that arena
