My stay was here was so relaxing and cozy. The manager Jaylah customer service was very impressing and the staff was very pleasant. She was so helpful I know I probably got on her nerves asking so many questions lol but she was so courteous and professional. I was so comfortable staying there I extended my stay and I will definitely recommend this hotel to my cousin who is in charge of the family reunion board, this hotel would be perfect for my family to stay at.
They troed robbed me of my almost $500. Good thing it was my credit card. Poor customer service. Leslie and Cindy are both human beings that seemingly exist. No purpose. Liars and thieves. Im still trying to get them fired. If you had poor experiences with them, let me know. They sleep in the rooms rather be at the front desk as all hotels. They get high and brings their friends over and comp them free rooms. Rude and disrespectful beings.
I had to book me a room because I worked a double in the area and the commute back home was time consuming. So I walked in and booked on site. I met a young lady by the name of Jayla who was very polite professional and eager to assist me with my stay. Her customer service was magnificent. I couldnβt wait to see how good my room look just off her great customer service skills. Keep her on you guys team. Thanks Jayla!
I had a pretty good 2 week stay. The customer service isnβt the best. They made sure to let us know as soon as we got there that this is a self-serve hotel and they would not be helping us, but then tried to discreetly charge us extra for their laundry service (aka fresh towels), something we never requested and werenβt expecting since the place has a laundry room. It was cheaper to wash our own towels. Also, the walls are extremely thin and there was a loud noise coming from the vent in our bathroom that they never addressed. But other than the mediocre customer service and paper thin walls, the hotel was nice, modern, clean, and quiet. I enjoyed having the kitchenette and think this is a way better deal than a standard hotel.
Iβm a travel nurse that stays across the US for work. I stayed here for 2 weeks. My room did not come with a remote control for the TV and I had to wait 4 days to receive one. Usually would be fine, but with nobody at the front desk after 9-10pm. There is no control over the loudness of the guests. So they can do whatever they want. The lack of sleep was overwhelming in this hotel, especially with the thin walls. I bought candles and air fresheners for my room and couldnβt get the smell of astray out either. If you donβt mind the smell, the noise, or the lack of items in your room, this place is great for you.
It was amazing my whole entire stay was lovely the general manager Jayla was incredible. Very helpfully, thoughtful and caring. We need more people in the world like her because you never know what a person is going through but to walk through those does and get greeted with a smile is wonderful she is amazing. Also the staff is incredible well with the stay will most definitely be staying again.
I been here since 09/02/2021. I go downstairs to see when do i checkout because i paid for Monthly rate which is 1,770 for a whole month. But the lady at the front desk told me that my checkout day is 09/30/2021. How is my checkout day is only 28 days not the whole 30 days? I dont understand also she told me that they mention that to their customers about the monthly rate and days. Which i didnt have no knowledge of, no paperwork stating that they monthly rates are for 28 days only not 30 days. I feel like if i paid for a whole month which will be 10/02/2021 the supposed to be checkout date because of the date i came here which is 09/02/2021 now you telling me my checkout date 09/28/2021. Thats not a whole me. I just felt like i just got rob
1 sentence review summary: I would stay at this hotel again if they easily changed a few things.Pros: This is a standard hotel that is great for its value. The hotel outside is clean. The hotel inside was mostly clean (see cons below for additional details). The fitness center was well maintained. The employees are nice (see cons below for additional details). The room is spacious and clean. The bathroom is also clean. The wifi was free and had no issues.Cons: I do not believe the staff workers should receive any of this criticism - this criticism falls solely on the management for this practice: you will be woken up early in the morning on the day your stay ends for them to ask if you will be checking out. Staff workers take note: Someone stepped on feces and soiled 3 rugs, but only 2 were cleaned and replaced. The 3rd only had a small smear, but it should have been cleaned and replaced anyway.Something they cant change, but was not a big deal: The walls are thinner than other hotels Ive stayed in. Youll hear the other guests.
Was not happy at all. Very rude staff. Could only pay with cash. And none of the staff had on mask. The cleaning lady threw a fit that we took a towel. Demanded that we give it back. Or she will enter our room and take it. I gave it back to her after it was in my room on my bed. She put it back on her cart and put it in another room. So lets say they are not making sure things are clean.
The hotel is nice and it is clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. However, the hotel has a noise problem and the staff has not been able to fix it.I have stayed at the hotel 3 separate times for about 2 weeks each time. The first 2 weeks were great. During my 2nd trip, on the 2nd night one of my neighbors decides to blast music with a ton of bass around 1am. I called the front desk to see if they could have the person turn down their music. The music did not stop for about 2 hours. 2 nights later the same thing happened again. I called the front desk again, this time they knocked on the neighbors door and the music stopped. The staff was very friendly and got me a new room the next day.During the first night of my third trip, someone decided it was a good idea to park their car right next the hotel and blast music around midnight. I called the front desk twice but they never went out to ask the person to stop. The music did not turn off until am hour later when the person went to their room. The hotel is very nice but the noise problems make it very difficult to sleep and get up for work the next day.
Its clean and the staff are nice. They understand my needs and they go over and beyond to help fulfill them. Cindy has great customer service skills and she is always there helping anyone she could. .shes hard working and pleasant to deal with. The price I got was a steal for weekly rates. If anyone needs a place to call home temporarily or permanently, this is really the place cuz its fairly new and its clean and its quiet.
I just wanna say I enjoyed my stay, the ladies at the Front-desk are great, they treated me like a long time family member, Leslie is beautiful inside and out, I just love Cindy as well, glad to see my friend Eric has returned, the manager Jayla is wonderful , she helped me get in contact with a church who helped us out during our stay. now it get rowdy here and you canβt get any linen at 3am but I enjoyed my stay.
My name is Brett, I have been staying at Woodspring Suits. I was very impressed by 2 management employees by the nameBRIA AND JAYLA. THEY WHERE AND HAVE HELPED ME GET MY RESERVATIONS DONE . THEY HAVE GONE THE EXTRA MILE TO DO THESE SETUPS. THIS TIME WAS ON NOVEMBER 5 2021. I APPRECIATE GOOD RESPECT AND GOING THE EXTRA MILE FOR ME AND MY FAMILY. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE RECEIVED THIS TEXT.THANKS
My wife and I are really impressed with every aspect of this place! The entire place is incredibly clean (more important than ever), and James (the gentleman who was at the front desk) was beyond helpful, energetic and amazingly kind! All of this, and at an incredible price. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a place to stay!
I was awaken to maintenance beating on the door. And when opened it he started taking the bed sheets off before we were even ready to leave. That how they wake you up in morning. They could have waited till I left. Very rude staff. I would not recommend. And check out is 11 am not 9:30 am
The lady at the front desk at night was really nice. The overall vibe was decent. For being a new hotel Iβm surprised at the fact that their walls are paper thin. I couldnβt sleep due to the neighbors snoring so loud. Itβs not his fault that he snores. But definitely the insulation of the walls are not there. There are also NO amenities regarding the kitchens the room. You must provide everything yourself. We didnβt even have a hair dryer. This is by far the worst stay Iβve experienced for being at a newer hotel.
Staff was unprofessional, I called the front desk to let them know my lightbulb was not working, she came to my room and smelled like she was in the bar allnight. I am a manager myself and if one of my employees came to work smelling like alcohol I would of sent them home. I dont know who is running this place but should be more involved with there employees.
The staffs are awesome EVERY SINGLE ONE of them, James, Leslie, Jason... the manager Jayla is an excellent example of how all hotel management should run their hotels! They make it hard to wanna leave and find our apartment but unfortunately we will have to soon, will definitely come back even after we move, highly recommended! These people made sh*t (life) better in general, itβs hard to walk past them without wanting to say hi and chit chat a bit.
Overall nice suites to stay for a long trip, there kitchen is quite nice. Room was clean and nice. We have a kid so we enjoyed the luxury of kitchen, fridge and microwave. Prices are quite reasonable. But they are way out of city. Its better to have your own car to travel if you are living here.
I stayed here several of times, each time was a different experience. The last time I stayed I was charged an additional day after I had already checked out which sent my account into the negative. I will say Jayla has the sweetest personality and her customer is amazing. The staff in general is always very helpful and friendly. Just minor things happen which were compensated for. Ive been staying at the Addison facility for several months and the staff has treated me with the utmost respect. The whole building is kept extremely clean, great laundry facilities, decent workout room and if you need anything, at any time-theres always someone working or on call to address your problem. I highly recommend starting there for anyone, theyre even a pet friendly establishment.
Very clean and very reasonable price. unfortunately you get what you pay for. We had a two night stay and were only given two pillows for a queen sized bed. And when we walked down to ask for more, (after multiple failed attempts at reaching someone at the front desk via the phone)we were told that the hotel was out of pillows... So our stay wasnt very comfortable. the walls are paper thin so youll hear every single person as they come in and out at night (which is oddly a lot because the hotel was pretty busy) . Bottom line, if you want a cheap clean nice looking place to stay this is a good bang for your buck... but if ANYTHING is wrong or you need to get ahold of someone at the front desk for any reason...good luck. Hopefully its not urgent and youve got 20 minutes to kill.
The hotel should still have more control over the customers. I was on the 3rd floor and for almost 45 minutes had some kids running and laughing down the hall, talking loud in Spanish then up and down the stairs. I was close to room 321 and it was almost too much. Not to mention the Dogs!!! Last time I checked on their Website, this location was for service dogs ( animals ) only!!!!! This is not the case here. These are not service animals!!! They have become some what expensive and for what they offer which is basically nothing, is not really worth it. Itβs becoming like The American Extended Stay Hotels, where there they at least offer free grab and go breakfast plus free kitchen supplies for cooking/eating and a coffee maker.
If you are a long-term guest at a hotel (3+ months) almost all extended stay hotels are pretty lenient and understanding if you cant pay them for a day or two, but this place is the exact opposite. If you are waiting for your paycheck and cant pay them your bill for a couple of days, be prepared to have knocks on your door at 6am, 8am, 930am, etc. harassing you until you pay. They caused me and my mother so much unnecessary stress by hounding us for simpy being a day late to pay, which made it an easy decision to leave their hotel and go to another one.
Our stay in WoodSpring was great. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They accepted us before the official check-in time without extra charge. The facilities are of great standards! Highly recommended and we will stay here again!
Jayla was so wonderful and great! I accidentally booked at the wrong locations and instead of making it super hard on me, she made it so easy and was extremely pleasant to speak to on the phone! I would highly recommend, if you ever need someone to help you out there ask for Jayla! She is all around AWESOME!!
My experience with this hotel was truly horrible. I work for a local refugee resettlement agency, and often we have to house newly arrived refugees in hotels while they are waiting for their apartments to be ready. We checked a family in and out of the hotel over a weekend, and noticed several days later that there was a $250 smoking charge. Immediately I addressed this with the family, who were stunned. They did not smoke - the family who stayed in this room hadnt used tobacco in fifteen years - I have medical files from the International Organization of Migration to back this up. They said they noticed a smell coming from an ashtray which was located below their window, but they themselves did not smoke. After calling the front desk of this hotel, my colleague patiently asked if they had found evidence of any cigarette butts, or if it is possible that another room was the origin of the smell. She asked to see pictures, and even explained that we have records showing no current tobacco use. The staff person who was on the line was extremely rude and said that the cleaning staff smelled tobacco but that they had no pictures, and eventually hung up on us in the middle of the conversation.I called again today, to explain again that this family did not smoke in the room and had no history of tobacco use in the last fifteen years. The staff person on the line proceeded to say that they found evidence of marijuana (a new piece of information) and that they had pictures of the fire alarm being covered up. I stated that I would be happy to take a look at those pictures and see if she would like to see their medical documents. Keep in mind - we transported this family directly from the airport to the hotel. They were under constant watch, as they have no transportation, no English skills, and no ability to navigate life - much less acquiring drugs - in the United States. I offered to come to the office to speak with a manager, but the receptionist staff was belligerent, uncooperative, and unkind. She again hung up on me mid-sentence as I was trying to set up an appointment.I have never experienced such blatant disrespect from a hotel staff. I will certainly never partner with this hotel again to house newly arrived families in the United States, and will tell as many people as I can about this horrible and unjust charging policy. My gut says that the hotel staff made up the charge to cover something else up, given that they were completely unwilling to speak with anyone from my organization, gave two completely different stories to me and my colleague, and had no evidence to back their claims.
I recently stayed here 3 nights for a work assignment. The good points are that its new and very clean. The walls are pretty thin, could hear the person in the room next to me and could hear the highway traffic. The shower never truly got hot and the water pressure was very disappointing.
Leslie at the front desk is awesome! She is so kind and attentive, she really knows the ins and outs of what you need to know upon check in, and takes the time to describe where everything is and what youll need to know to use the facilities (including a gym, and laundromat). The room itself is fantastic, it has everything you could need in a stay. The bed is very comfortable and the hotel is kept super clean. I rented the petite queen room, and youre basically renting out a studio apartment, you have a full kitchen(full refrigerator, two burner stove, sink, and microwave), a desk/dining area with a chair, TV and plenty of storage to put your things away. They provide a laundry basket in the room for your use, and a very comfortable chair. The hotel is close to the highway for ease of travel, but is also close to town so you can pick up anything you need. All of that added to the fact that they are a pet friendly hotel makes for a great stay! Would absolutely reccomend!
Arrived for an overnight stay on the 2nd day of the grand opening. First disappointment was the inability to honor the 10% off coupon I received in the email after signing up. The room we had was a basic queen bed and was somewhat small, but perfect for a one night stay. The water pressure in the shower was nearly non existent. And only 2 towels and 2 wash clothes were provided in the room. Bonus was the room had never been used and the bed being brand new was perfectly firm. Jayla at the front desk was extremely kind and welcoming.
The hard work and positive attitude of the team that runs this place makes it a pleasure to be here! We are very pleased with the cleanliness of the facility. I Don βt think this type of facility is easy to maintain and keep it a superior operation. A great job is being accomplished. The folks here should be proud of themselves.
I have stayed at Woodspring Suites in Addison, IL for several months. I can not say enough about the front desk staff! Jayla, James, Leslie and Cindy are professional, very helpful and caring. The suite is roomy, comfortable and clean. The location is quiet and safe. There is so much value for the price!
We booked our room several days in advance, but when we got to our room it seemed like it havenβt been prepared. There was no toilet paper or towels or anything in une bathroom, one of the bed didnβt have sheets on it, though it had been made up, and the floor was absolutely filthy. There was sand and dirt and crumbs everywhere. We had to ask the staff several times to get us toilet paper and towels, and they have yet to clean the room or give us sheets (the next day).
I have stayed here 2 times, 1st time was their first day the hotel was open for business. That time I only stay over nite and was pleased with the cost and being a new place. This last time we had stayed 4 nights. Being a cigarette smoker we knew the rules and restrictions so we stepped out for our smoke breaks. The very 1st time I notice that there were cars pulling up and the same person would come out to the car and soon after the car would pull away. I then realized that there were drug dealers living in this hotel and doing their deals in the parking lot. Feeling a bit worried about my car I then started to come out every hour to make sure no one would vandalize my new car. On the last day we left ealy in the morning and when we came back in the evening I witnessed a man coming out of my room. As we walked up to the door the man then said I was smoking in the room and he was in there for that reason. I went down to the front desk and told them that a maintenance man was just in my room and was told that I was smoking in my room in which I had told them that I was going outside for every cigarette smoked there. I then went back up to my room where my wife had said that our belongings have been gone thru and that we were missing some cash that was in a couple Christmas cards. When I approached this maintenance man about who was all in our room he said it was his partner, but I told him that he was also in there and finally he admitted that he was also in there after I said I saw him in there. I asked him if he was the one that went thru our belonging and he told me it wasnt him. I then saw him get into his van and leave. No one there would do anything about our missing cash. All I can say is that I will never say there and will tell everyone that I know along with my familys friends that this place isnt a good safe place to stay. Reminds me of a place that has no one there in charge that will keep order in their hotel. I will be locating their corporate office to make my final complaints.
I travel quite a bit for business and typically have weeklong stays. I prefer to stay in hotels that have kitchenettes so that I can cook rather than eat out all week. When I got to my room (after standing in the entryway for 10 minutes waiting for someone to let me in), I found there was no cookware, plates, etc in my room. The next morning I was told I could buy those for $40, because people steal everything. When I got back to my room that night, there hadnt been maid service. Again, I asked about it and was told the maid come every two weeks during your stay. If I needed fresh towels, bring down my old ones to exchange them. This is probably a good hotel if you plan on actually living there for a month or something, but not for weeklong trips. [Review collected by TrustYou]
First time in 5 days I didnt see Leslie working, Ive seen her wipe doors, Windows, change coffee, mop floors and always doing laundry....I think its safe to say SHE DESERVES A RAISE, Manager is great as well I thought Leslie was manager until she told me Jayla was Friday morning.
Me and my husband have been staying here for a about two months now and ever since the first day we came in James has helped us as much as possible from needs to payments. the rest of the staff is amazing as well and always accommodating and easy to talk to. but big thank you to james for going out of his way to make sure things get done!
Im here for an extended stay and the staff has been great! Leslie, Gabby and Ricky have been fantastic and very accomdiating. My only gripe is the inflated price of the washer & dryers at $2.25 a pop, but thats what technology (Apple pay/google pay) and convience costs you. Id fully recommend for an extended stay.
My room #315 smelled like dog poop. I brought this to the attention of front desk lady caledl Leslie 2 times and she did nothing about it. when I came from work late in the night around 10 p.m. my room was in the same condition. When I went to the front desk and requested to get it cleaned to which this guy named Joshua replied that he will give me a mop and I should clean it myself. I was totally shocked by this kind of rude behavior from the staff here . Honestly I will put this review on each and every website so that people do not go to this place
Im not really sure as to why this place has good reviews because the night I was supposed to stay the receptionist calls me and says Sorry we do not have any more availability. We had to cancel your room. I asked why and she could not give a solid explanation. I told her I had a confirmation number and everything. I proceed to try to ask her questions and she hangs up the phone on me. Nice.
Horrible service They charged $250 dollars after I check out because they are accusing me that I was smoking in the room. I cannot smoke I have asthma! Shayla the manager on duty at front desk...the worst ...she is mean and rude saying that They foun a plastic bag on the ceiling covering the smoke alarm.I had to rate one star because there is no Lower optionπ
My reservation wasnt in system at check in, I came after hours ...Leslie matched our online rate and upgraded us for the confusion. The manager and the rest of the team is awesome as well...I came back yesterday was treated great again ... [Review collected by TrustYou]
Hotel room didnβt even have shower curtains our towels Hotels staff here are very disrespectful to guest will never stay here ever again I was only asking for simple things that most hotels usually give the customers with no problem here I was disrespected for asking

2022-04-18Places horrible the people that work there are completely and totally rude and theyre scamming people by kicking people out and charging them 250 saying they were smoking in the room when nobody smoked in the room whatsoever

2022-02-06Jayla was Amazing!! She was very helpful and attentive. I ran into a few issues with my reservation and she went over and beyond to ensure I was okay. I understand that during this pandemic, employees like this hard are hard to hire but Jayla the GM is a great asset!!! Look for her when you arrive π€

2022-02-03You will NEVER get any sleep. Walls and floors are paper thin. Guests will blast music and run around all night up into the early morning. All staff will do is ask them to stop, they dont enforce anything. The staff are very nice and always helpful, I just wish they enforced quiet hours more. Some of these guests are terrible.. Not a good place for a working professional to stay. If you have to stay here get on the top floor and pray youre not next to someone that blasts their TV all night or has a crying baby. My white noise machine is turned up to max volume and I can still hear the people above me running and stomping around.

2022-05-13Outstanding receptionistβs! The ladies went above and beyond!! Jayla is a sweetheart. Housekeepers and the maintenance guy were awesome! The room was real nice and very comfortable. 4th floor was quiet just like they told me. Working from home and getting my sleep was no problem. Parking lot, laundry facility and workout room very clean. Vending machines were full never empty. Elevator, stairwells and the entire building was always clean. If Iβm ever in town I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

2022-06-08Been staying here for 2 months . The lobby has a very weird smell sometimes , but is kept clean & clutter free. It is close to the highway so it can be loud with the passing cars and trucks .This is the second Woodsprings Iβve stayed in and they did not have housekeeping, which is kinda frustrating since you have to pay for linens exchange & cleaning ..I never heard of paying extra for something thats normally expected at a hotel.

2022-01-20This is the most horrible place management wise! The so called General Manager is rude, disrespectful and callous. My daughter and son were treated so disrespectfully and the place once Brianna left went to hell! The police are there daily for disturbances and violent felons and the hallways reek of marijuana but β smoking isnβt allowed β!My family checked out early and the next two days they wrongfully tried to charge my daughters card! When Brianna was running the place it was nice this new so called β GMβ as she pontificates and demands to be acknowledged as is a horrid manager with zero people or customer relations skills!

2022-05-20The place is horrible. PLEASE DONT STAY HERE! The general manager Jayla Shelburn & her sister LIYAH has the most RUDE && NASTY ATTITUDE. First Liyah tried to scam my mother out of more money for her room. Then the β general manager β turn around and did the same thing. They will lie and tell you the room price is this price then turn around and give you another price. PLEASE BOOK ONLINE IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO STAY LONGER THAN A WEEK. THEY ARE TRYING TO POCKET THE MONEY FOR THEMSELVES. On top of that they both live there at the hotel. refuse to give you corporate number when you try to report them from scamming elder people and people out of there money. THEY HAD THE WRONG ELDER TO TRY & STEAL FROM.βGeneral Manager β stated I donβt care who you tell nothing going to happen or changeβ I stayed clam and reported everything. PEOPLE PLEASE LOOK OUT FOR TWO PEOPLE. They will be hearing from my lawyer. Iβm not stopping until something get done. My mother wasnβt the only person they did this to. All of us are working together to get our issues solve. If you can avoid this place PLEASE DO. THE REVIEWS ABOUT HER BEING NICE IS a LIE! Stay there and you will see for yourself. Very noisy allday long, police stay at the hotel 24/7..

2022-05-27Nasty place, nasty people! We arrived today, the cashier had to charge me 109 USD and instead charged me 194 USD. The room was nasty, the floors, the sheets, we even found hairs in the bath tub, my god! I asked for an extra pillow and they said no, I asked for an extra blanket and they said no, totally disrespectful, when I complained about this at 23:03 and at 23:06 the general manager came banging on the door to tell me that tomorrow we gotta check out (obviously we are) while she had someone on the phone listening and acting as a witness, she should be fired, totally rude and disrespectful, I want a refund of my money! Please, dont come to this place!

2022-01-07I was bounced here from another Woodsprings Suite hotel in Carol Stream because of police and fire activity at the hotel. They would not accept my reservation. Although newer, this hotel is unbelievably basic. They will not give Choice Hotel points ( not affiliated apparently). If you are looking for the ultimate cheap hotel and someplace just to lay your head then this will work. My advice, spend the extra twenty dollars that you save and go to a decent hotel.

2022-04-26In the room was heavy smell, the linen on the bed looks not fresh. The personal are angry and not respectful.
