Whole Foods Market in other cities:
All organic stuff, quite impressive-amazing staff. Little food-court is great for quick bites, also serves great coffees.Wide range of spices and dried fruits and nuts(all organic)Visiting this store every week to keep me going with as organic eats as I can. Love their freshly made guacamole, veggie pizzas and cupcakes. Also we get several deals being prime members. Deserves all 5 stars 😀😀😀
Amazing food. Good selection of fresh items. Their soup selection is very versatile. Good location, this is next to the woodfield mall and the streets of woodfield. Hot food bar is awesome, great variety of different cuisine. I buy egg and milk from here. Very friendly and polite staff. They even have started delivery with Amazon prime, which is cool.Food price is little high & parking lot is little tight. Recommend this place.
Terribly mismanaged store. Ive been here several times when not enough registers were open or no baggers were around on a prime weekend morning. Ive stood at the back of a line that was half way through the store back by the booze several times. Over the last year this place has consistently not met my expectations.Edit:. Ive found myself spending over 100 dollars again here where I spent more time in line to check out than I did shopping on the store.
Amazing food. High quality items - when it comes to what you put in your BODY, spare no expense. It’s your life. This store has most of the best clean/organic ingredients you need to eat healthy and live a longer life. Their cafe is amazing too and the staff are all so kind.
I went to buy some food from the salad bar I was disappointed they don’t have plastic plates they have paper ones , how can you buy some thing that have sauce and put it in a paper box , Too bad the food looked good and it look like not too many people liked using this paper box there was a lot of food left at this time of the day 5:20 PM
This is the only Whole Foods I shop at. It can be very crowded on the weekends. Do your best to avoid Saturday afternoons. The deli and cheese area is amazing. I they have a nice selection of food in the buffet area. Although I haven’t eaten any open serve food since prepandemic. They seem to do a good job keeping that area clean. Not a fan of their baked goods. They look betterthan they taste. Pizza is still yummy
DISAPPOINTING: The remodeling of the self check out area is extremely disappointing. WholeFoods / Amazon has crammed in several checkout stations (7 stations) where customers have no choice but to literally be on top of each other. This is utterly disturbing during the time of the COVID-19 pandemic when this remodeling took place (2021) and at a time when some customers wear their masks below their nose or not at all. When you’re done checking out it is difficult to navigate through the other people who are checking out and get past them or their carts. I literally had to ask someone if they would please move their cart so that I could get out. Very poor, Jewel has a much better self check out experience In addition the store experience has diminished since the Amazon purchase of Whole Foods. Declining quality of the produce and availability of organics. Two stars arededucted for the poor self check out remodel and one star detected for the decline in produce quality. The Result is a two star rating.
Didn’t have time to cool last Monday, so I bought a large ceasar salad and 2 turkey meatloaf dinners, total cost approx $36.00, The food was horrible, the meatloaf had hardly any flavor, the potato’s were just okay, the green beans were hardly cooked. The salad (alone cost $14.00) was old lettuce, very dried out cheese and half the bowl was tasteless croutons. So disappointing for such a high end grocery store.
Very clean with friendly service. The shelves were well stocked with a great selection. It is a great selection of products and Healthcare it is unfortunate that the pandemic has caused so many people not to shop in stores that the product gets outdated on the shelves. It would be very nice if we could get back to business where people can actually make a living. Whole Foods is always had a good product however lately they are understaffed and the staffs that they have is not nearly as knowledgeable as what they had a year ago two years ago however long the stupid things been going on. But I do like the fact they have brought a few samples back.
Whole Food is a desirable grocery store for healthy living and eating. I enjoy My experience of shopping and exploring items in such a well organized store with all different kinds of fine selection. In US store I enjoy further discount as Prime member while Canadian Whole Food does not!
I ordered honey lemon salmon and mashed potatoes I was very upset and embarrassed with my guests. The salmon was super dry and the presentation was poorThe mashed potatoes were watery it seemed that they were previously frozen as well. I usually dont complain but I relyed on Whole foodsFor my dinner . I was absolutely desapointed.
Usually dont shop here but came here for an Amazon return. This return process is very convenient. For a return you go online and request the rma then bring it to this store. Once they have the product they scan your rma and that is it. A very convenient return process.
Wasted time and poor service. I placed an online order for outdoor pickup. After waiting for about 20 minutes (no other customers were waiting), I went inside to find out what was going on. Customer service would not talk with me and wouldnt even look at me because they probably know how bad their store is. After 30 minutes (app says 5-7 minutes), the lady came out and apologized (which is why they get 2 stars, not 1). She told me she went on break and the manager sent the other online orders person to clean up the store. It wasnt until she returned from her break that she noticed I had been waiting.
Clearness is excellent. All products are also very nice and service is good friendly. Seems that price of each items are on higher sides. Let us hope for better in respect of life requirements. From --Jayantkumar Kachhia .photo shall be fixed in your App.I 65 years old and have weaknesses in my body and digest system is poor .Please suggest some food items so that I can live better life .
Thanks to Gretchen for being an awesome store manager and transforming a truly awful service experience with one of the produce managers (who I truly hope is not managing people!). Great customer service makes all of the difference and is one of the reasons (quality is the other) I don’t mind paying more to shop at WF!
Bad experience at this Whole Food store. Cashier at the customer service started servicing us and then decided to service another customer that was not in line and made us wait for 10 minutes! Asked to talk to manager but it took more than 10 minutes for a manager to show up. The manager didnt care about what happened and didnt show any respect or tried to listen!! We will never shop at this store as they hire careless, rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional people. Shame on you.
I had to go in to Whole Foods 2 1/2 weeks ago for a few special cuts of meat.Kevin was very well versed in the cuts and was able to find me exactly what I needed. His kindness was refreshing and he was very informative on how best to prepare it.You guys have a great butcher!Thank you sooo much! 10/10 I hope to see him during my next visit!
7/2021 Store is clean. Location is terrible. Very inconvenient for families to get here. Traffic around Christmas can be insane because of Woodfield next door to this store. And it is in a business district rather than a neighborhood. This was our first time here and found it laid out horribly. Tiny aisles and really not a big store. Very niche market for thier products. Our sister who is gluten free, enjoys it because of its selection. And maybe others with special food needs or allergies might find it good. But for my wife and I. Nah. Not worth the travel time, etc.As a note. We overheard another younger (than us) couple talking. The comment we overheard them say was This is the most expensive store in Schaumburg. Not sure if it is or not, but we have not been to Jareds Jewelry yet either! So maybe, maybe not. Either way, too pricey for my taste.
Love this place Did you know you can grind your own cashews or any assortment of nuts make your own peanut butter. Love their organic selection of fruits & vegetables. We discovered something new; sockeye salmon candy!Pretty darn good 👍 we were selecting fresh salmon fillets then we noticed salmon candy😀we asked for a sample, fell in love 🥰 the guy helping us was very friendly and he suggested we try it. Taste like salmon with a hint of maple sweetness yummy 😋
Excellent produce and meats. Well-stocked dairy case and usually has plenty of quiches too. Friendly staff. Well located near Woodfield, Streets of Woodfield and Higgins Road. Parking under the building is great in inclement weather. The NW Suburban Transit Center is next door so even bus riders could shop easily. Ive found the Schaumburg location more consistently stocked than several sister stores.
Always love how clean, organized and appealing the store looks. We were greeted outside the entrance and directed to the sanitized carts, and employees in the store are as helpful as ever. Markings for distancing, and self checkouts cleaned after each customer, which has stopped happening at other stores, sadly. Glad to see they value customer safety!
This is by far the best WF store I have ever been to. Meat is fresh, so is fish , always cut to the order, always best advice, fresh vegetables and bread baked daily. Thank you for feeding my family. I cant imagine moving out of that area just because of that store. Excellent products and promt delivery as well. Thank you all the people that work there. You make my life easier. Even more thanks to the management!!!
They are, slowly getting rid of a variety of brands in the store. Ive also noticed that an increasing number of employees are not as well versed in the location and product information of the store items they still have. 365 brands are adequate at best. The only reason I still shop there is because of the quality and known source of the meat and the greater variety of organic items. For what you pay, they should be better. I think since it was bought out by Amazon Whole Foods has taken a step back in overall quality and variety.Second post, Easter WeekendI dont know whats going on with Whole Foods but their customer service is abysmal. They didnt have my Easter order ready and the woman working at the bake shop was rude and dismissive. I think I m going to start going to the one in Killdeer because the Schaumburg Whole Foods is just not as good as it used to be.
I recently moved across the country, and this store is one of the places that I miss dearly. Everything from people who work there to produce was great. Their buffet lunch selections were awesome, breads to die for (oh how I miss that bread...). Ive been visiting this store more than I want to admit and appreciated seeing familiar faces year after year. Keep it up!I wish my new local Whole Foods was as good...
Weve been buying Mixed Berries & Cream Cake for over 6 years now, and we are well aware of the quality of this product. Hands down this is one of the best cakes my family and I have ever enjoyed... until now. The one ingredient that distinguishes the Mixed berry cake is the delicious yellow PASTRY cream, and now you ruined it... This is one of the many examples that production cost reductions bring nothing but losses!
Employees are super nice. Some things seemed unorganized and out-of-sight, it’s unknown if they no longer carry those items or if they’re just placed elsewhere. For example, I looked all over for assorted cheese but couldn’t find it in the cheese section. Checked another cheese section in the frozen aisle but wasn’t there either. Not going to take a star away for that however because that issue could’ve been solved if I just asked an employee, didn’t care THAT much for cheese though. Also, they have self check out which is really awesome, especially for fellow introverts like myself!
I travel an extra 20 minutes to go to a different Whole Foods. I have been to this one twice, and both times it was so insanely crowded and unsafe that the line was backed up PAST the entire isle behind it. The parking lot is dangerous with barely any stop signs and I almost got hit twice. Its just not worth it for me.
First of all, Whole Foods has one of the best and widest selections of quality food in the area. My son and I went to pick up a few things to make dinner. Love their underground parking on a cold day. You park, get out of your car where carts are waiting for you, then take the elevator right into the store. Oh, if you have an electric car, they have charging stations in their parking garage.Their produce is always outstanding as is their bakery and their fresh meats and fish. Our list was mainly fresh vegetables, but we got a few treats while there too. Check out was fast, but very expensive. We did not go to their lunch counter, where you can get some really good meals. Weve done that before and it was usually very good. Two bags of groceries, about 1/2 full each was over $50. There was no meat, chicken, pork or fish - nothing that would drive up the cost so much. We didnt choose organic produce to save some money.Whole Foods offers a great experience in products and in service. But, their prices can be very high relative to other good options within a few miles. They do offer some items I cant find elsewhere, so we do go periodically. And, Im sure we will continue to go from time to time.
Recommendation for Whole Food - Stop charging so much money. People call it Whole Pay Check for good reasons. When they started out years ago, I shopped there exclusively. Dont at all now! How does Whole Foods & much of the nutrition industry hope to ever make a valid case and impact to healthy eating and living by overcharging & profiteering as the primary goal. The store is nice, very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Can see where the money goes. Does me not good though, or others, if out of budget to shop there. Ive also heard they are not much at giving back to the community. People need to wake up, recognize and as consumers choose accordingly. The primary focus of much of corporate America is based on greed, not customers, customer service or community, with balance to the business end. Its a 2 way street, unfortunate the many companies who do not treat it this way! Nearing 30 years in business development and consumer advocacy, never thought it would go so far out of balance as it has. Let The Buyers Be Aware!
I changed my rating from 1 star to 4 star, after seeing that Whole Foods customer service contacted immediately after my complain and took this issue seriously. Thank you Whole Foods for striving to keep the excellent service.I was really surprised to see that some employees are well trained at Whole Foods and others are rude and clueless. How is it possible?I stopped by at my local Whole Foods few days ago. A ( well trained) store associate told me before that I can get a case discount if Im buying 10 burgers and up. My first cashier was a careless and not a friendly woman ( poorly trained). I told her upfront that I have 10 burgers and that I was told I can get a case discount by another co-worker ( well trained). It took her awhile to find out what Im talking about. She said that a case of burgers is 12, so no discounts for me. She did not seem to care or wanna help me anyhow. I did not like her service and I passed on my burgers. After I left the store I thought that I should not get upset about this situation. We all have our bad moments. I got back to the store and grabbed the last 10 burgers left on the shelve. This time I was served by another cashier ( well trained) from express lane. The woman seemed to be nice and friendly. She gave me a case discount without any problems. When I was almost done, another associate ( in her 50) ( poorly trained) approached the cashier and start talking to her loud, so I can hear her. She said that I just left 10 burgers to the other cashier and gave me a mean look. That was so rude and unprofessional. I was really surprised to see something like this happening at Whole Foods, that supposedly have an excellent customer service. Clueless associates should not talk about things that they dont know in front of their customers. Especially, if they did not witness the whole story. I left the burgers because I got a bad service. Now Im witnessing the second one.I come to Whole Foods for their good quality, selection and great customer service. Poor service is expected at some lower level stores.
Literally just experienced the worst check out ever. The cashier Alejandra could have packed my bag more carefully since the items I had were glass & crackers which could easily break. Also she didn’t speak nor asked if I had a amazon prime account. She made my shopping experience suck so much.
I recently moved to Schaumburg and wanted some fresh seafood. I went to Whole Foods located in Schaumburg. The service that I received from one of the employees was awful. The employee refused to provide a service because it was almost closing time... I got there at 8:30 p.m. Not only did the employe not provide the service, the attitude that he had was extremely rude and unprofessional. I wasnt too happy with the way the employed talked to me and felt disappointed.
Coming from someone who never wanted to share the hype of Whole Foods, here goes it.My husband and I only went to Whole Foods a few years ago for the awesome pizza they make right there, other than that, we never understood why Whole Foods was so great.I get it now.The selection of different dietary options is out of this world, but that wouldnt make me keep going back. Heres the real reason. Everyone is so damn friendly its insane. I have yet to run into a rude employee there. When I ask for help, and a staff member is unsure, they actually go find someone who knows the department better. How awesome is that? Thats fantastic customer service, and I honestly find it hard to come by lately. Also, I am unsure of who the older gentleman is that works by the counter where you can get the coleslaw and what not, but he is absolutely outstanding and I cannot tell you how much I appreciated his help tonight (9/3/17).So thanks Whole Foods of Schaumburg, I now understand why everyone can get hooked so easily. You guys are all amazing!
Been shopping here for a full year and am so happy with their selections of reasonably priced organic snacks, fresh butcher meats, rotisserie chicken and essential oils. The staff here is very knowledgeable and welcoming. I also wish to include the fact that MOST of customers who shop here are also just as outstanding. Tonight I had to be on a super tight budget with my credit card or I wouldnt be able to uber myself back. I was counting out my change at the register hoping I would have enough for a gourmet $4.99 whole pumpkin pie but I was just shy a dollar so I put it back. On my way out this really kind man who was waiting for me to complete my transaction decided to get that pie for me ! I mean the vibes here at this particular location are just that awesome. This whole foods just seems to attract the nicest people and I can always find what I need MOST of the time ;)Love this pumpkin pie the people who work here and the super kind people who come here to shop make this place a relaxing and playful experience.
I forgot my mask , and was treated so rude by 3 employees 2 of them completely ignored me when I asked if they had mango butter and the 3rd told me no and said I should leave .... if ur gonna act like that put a box of masks at the entrance and Ill gladly put it on ..
They have a wonderful selection of fresh fruit, meats and seafood. My favorite it their wine and imported cheese assortments. I actually found a specific layered French cheese which I used to buy at the local grocery store in Paris France — I never forgot the taste. I tasted very similar ones in in my travels, however they’ve never been that exact cheese. I found it here.
Before Amazon purchased Whole Foods I could order a hamburger with Swiss cheese and mushrooms and it was awesome. Today I came here and the only choice I had was a frozen burger with cucumber tomato red onions kale and choice of American or cheddar cheese. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being best, It went from a 8 1/2 to 9 burger to a 3. The burger was small and tasted meh. Will be the last one I ever purchase here. The seating area is also messy.
Very good selection of organic groceries. It truly is a organic shoppers destination. The deli is small but they have awesome pizza and hot foods that they sell by the pound. The seafood selection is pretty good and the produce selection is very nice. There is a bar that sells alcohol with a big wine menu.
Amazing place. It is my main grocery store to buy food. The people are very friendly and like to chat. Best selection of natural products and organic food. The prices are really not that bad as people make them out to be because you get what you pay for: excellence. Sustainability and the environment should be of the utmost importance.
I could spend hours here! I love their selection for frozen items because theyre a lot healthier than standard options. I love their fresh daily made food and pastries. They often have samples of fine cheeses, etc that I would honestly not try otherwise. And they have a little café with juice blends and wine. Its just a breath of fresh air in this toxic world...
Please, please, please if you ever need help in the produce section avoid asking for help to this girl that has a tattoo on her forhead. She is the most rudest and nastiest person ever. I had a terrible experiance with her.. i was having trouble finding a product, so i walked up to her very nicely and politely and she just gave me the nastiest attitude ever. Never again asking for assitance especially to her..
Great selection of grocery, vitamins, pastries and etc, pricy but you get what you pay for. Their hot food bar has gluten free items, the pizza place is great, you cam taste the freshness. Very clean and organized, all their employees are so friendly. Their holiday packages for Thanksgiving meals are very popular.
This review of whole foods is specific to their pizza. Yesterday, I had a piece of their taco pizza. It was fresh out of the oven and was a 5 star.Today, I took one of my sons to whole foods hoping hed receive the same enjoyment from their pizza as I did the day before.Unfortunately that was not the case. We both picked a piece of pizza that was not fresh, or hot, and it was a 1 star. Truly was the worst piece of pizza I ever remember having. My son said the school pizza he recently had was better than the piece he had from whole foods. School pizza should not be better than any pizza. If school pizza is better than your pizza, you should stop serving your pizza. Conclusion:If you do eat pizza from whole foods, please only get pizza that is fresh out of the oven. If you follow this rule of thumb, youll be a satisfied customer.
This whole foods is the best! All the foods I have bought are whole, nothing is missing! What I love about the store is that their roof is waterproof which make my experience during rain season amazing! whole foods makes me go to the gym so I can burn calories so i can eat much more! I love that whole foods is meat friendly. Its a place where meat lovers and vegans can put their differences aside and unite for a better future. A future without Artificial intelligence. If you have seen terminator 2 you will know what I am talking about! Overall would fight for the human race.
Oddly I gave whole foods a bad review a year ago and somehow it turned into a bad review for Trader Joes, I kinda like Trader Joes. Just another reason for me not to like whole foods. I dont know why anyone would shop here more than one time on accident. The food is not any better than anywhere else, even Walmart. Maybe to grab an overpriced lunch? Maybe people just like wasting money on garbage? I hope Amazon has some good ideas for these stores, like removing some of the sass I get from the staff.
Before I explain my one star, please know that I have been a loyal shopper at Whole Foods in Schaumburg, IL since it opened. The employees there are the best. In the last 3 months this store has gone downhill in quality and cleanliness. Last week I was at the meat counter buying whole chickens when I noticed water dropping on a turkey leg in the case. I crouched down and looked up and the whole water system across the whole case had black mold. I brought this to the attention of two wonderful employees and they said they would definitely take care of it. Why do I, a customer, have to notice this. They should be cleaning and disinfecting this case weekly. Produce Department: I complained 3 times that the produce shelves were dirty and their water system was built up with crusty white stuff with produce touching it when the shelves are full. Nothing was done about it. I finally complained to the store manager and he talked immediately to the employees. Last week when I went to the store, it was better, I thought. When I went to pick up an organic celery that was lying on the top shelf, the shelf was full of slime and the celery was sitting on that slime. I asked a worker to get me a fresh one from the back. I dont have to drive 5 miles one way to go to Whole Foods. I have a Marianos 2 blocks from me with the same produce at cheaper prices. I come to Whole Foods and choose to pay more because of its cleanliness, top quality products, and wonderful staff. Im beginning to rethink the cleanliness and quality part. So disappointed. You better step up your game Whole Foods.
Whole Foods: Driving up the cost of rent and the price of quality food. Seriously, how do yall afford to shop here? I was super hungry once and didnt know where to get vegetarian food that wasnt garbage so I went here. I saw the selection of not-meats and was almost excited. Then I got to the register. All excitement immediately vanished, as did my money.I then sat down hoping to enjoy the most expensive lunch Ive had in some time. The food was okay. I walked home and felt a rumble in my stomach. As soon as I got inside I set up camp in the bathroom and all my precious food was propelled from my mouth with force, and against my will. I took a nap, got a refund, and now (months later) I am hoping to spend the money on alcohol. At least this time Ill be vomiting for a good reason. Also, Bezos is a massive turd of a human. See ya in hell, chap.
Wonderful selection of fresh fruit, vegetables, meats, flowers. Organics in great supply in all departments including clothing. Wide range of essential oils and personal products such as Toms. Helpful staff, pricing reasonable, bakery & gelato items worth the stop. Ease at checkout. Restrooms, eatery, help desk, handicap accessible, ample parking.
Great concept. Terribly disappointed to see cold pressed juices being sold with produce made from non organic fertilizer and pesticide loaded ingredients. Whole Foods executives should know better. Shame on you. Definitely a step up from Marianos and Jewel but would like to see more of an effort to supply consumers with safe food that is responsibly grown
I used to shop here regularly when I worked. Recently I found an opportunity to shop there once again. How can one improve on perfection? WF found a way. More excellent freshly made entrees, salads and soups. Great bakery and dessert items. The freshest produce and florals. Vitamins and personal care items. And food that tastes the way it should. Nothing artificial. Im going to find a way to incorporate this wonderful market even if I shop here only once every 4 to 6 weeks.
I really love shopping at Whole Food for fruits, veggies and counter meats. I was also a huge fan of their guacamole and store made tortilla chips. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case for the chips, because I found a long strand of hair wrapped around one of the chips. Gross! Hair nets should be used when prepping and making foods, to avoid situations like this. With this being said, I will no longer purchase the chips, but I will continue shopping here for other items.
Few months ago, before Amazon, I would have rated Whole foods 5* for quality and 4* for price. Amazon changed everything. Quality reduced drastically, some prices reduced (after substituting the product with lower quality). For example the tomatoes. Whole foods had best Tomato in a Vine and they were priced 2.99/pound and was fresh and locally grown. Amazon reduced the price to 1.99 and replaced it with tomatoes grown in Canada. They arent as fresh as it was before. If its for bargain hunting, I will not go to Whole foods. Tomatoes are available much cheaper outside.I recently got Sardines which was spoilt. I complained on Twitter. They reached out to me and asked for details. I swiftly provided what they asked. No response after that. To give you an idea, Sardines cost 9.99$ at Whole foods and 1.99$ at Fresh farms. I expected better quality at Whole foods. This is a grocer on decline, a fine establishment on the decline.
Vegan options here are basic. Nothing you cant find at a jewel, marianos, or fresh thyme for a cheaper price. Bulk is selection is limited as well.Third time coming here looking for a vegan specialty and looks like its a wasted trip. Heading straight to fresh thyme now.
Clean store, plenty of high quality products. I usually go for the bakery and deli section. Pricing reflects the higher quality products and services. Sometimes having an Amazon prime account can save you money that the pricing is near a typical grocery store price, but its rare.
Excellent food. However, a few years back one of the female checkers rolled her eyes at me because I had an issue with my bank while trying to pay at the register. Also, their mens bathroom has had obscene graffiti on the wall for over 3 years, it still hasnt been painted over, it just has some black scribbles on it. The entire store has a very fresh smell to it, while the mens bathroom always has a heavy urine smell. I always feel like I want to take a bunch of all their organic bathroom supplies and go clean their bathroom for them.
Great place. Great staff. Great selection. The refillable 3 gallon water jugs (at any Wholefoods) are of marginal quality. The problem is a manufacturing flaw in the mouth that causes it to leak when not upright. (If you carry it with the handle it will not be upright.) This store has several items that I am not able to find at any other WF. (Date pieces in oat flour; onion ficelle French bread; raspberry mousse vegan dessert; etc.)
The store manager told me Whole Foods and Amazon are separate, even though Amazon owns Whole FoodsWhen I go to order my juice from the Whole Foods Delivery Service online ordering system, I get transferred to Amazon and then get a message that my juice is only available from the Schaumburg Whole Foods Store and THATS WHERE I STARTED!!!!Calling and talking to the store manager only got an explanation that was so complicated I couldnt follow the thinkingWhen inside the store no one was wearing masks or following Social Distancing guidelinesI had a guy looking over my shoulder and told him to get backI did not feel safe in the storeDont shop hereDont shop for food delivery online either
Just returned from wholefoods schaumburg. Had organic salad and loved it. I really prefer whole foods over all other places that sell organic items. The people are great and also their stock of items are good too. I love their food court area which is actually the main reason I frequent that place.
I stop by there for lunch several times per week (usually on a weekday). On most days the food is good but unfortunately, you have to wipe off (clean) your own table and chair (before sitting down to eat) more often than not. This is an unfortunate overlook of an important detail by Whole Foods.
Went back to Whole Foods for first time in a long time. Kept hearing about Prime deals and QUALITY! Among my purchases was a pound of expensive organic veal. Get home to use and it has a sell by or freeze by date of July 20. Today is the 26th. Little concern as I return. Go back for another package. 4 of the 6 remaining packages were same date. Quality? Customer service. NoADDITION. Do not buy their 365 Laundry detergent packs. They do not dissolve and leave large pellets behind in washer.
SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! &&& UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE TO MY CREDIT CARD!Down below is my previous review. I still like the set up, their food, just not their service anymore! My link card ran out of money && was short by less than $2. What usually would happen in this case is they would normally then tell me to scan the card then put the last (should have been less than $2) on my credit card. This is what their cashier told me he would do. I scanned my link card then both he &&& the screen said that they only were charging $1.76. However later on when I check my Chase app it says I was charged $54.32. It was still pending so I thought it was like at the gas station where it will correct itself when it completely goes through, but no!I then call customer service && they just apologized && said theres nothing they can do. As far as Im concerned this is an unauthorized charge. Not cool Whole Foods.*******I loveeeee the frozen gelato. Cookies n cream all the way! I wish this place had restaurants inside like the ones in Chicago.
I’m giving four stars because I love this location, it’s custom service and fresh produce. However, the cookie/ macaroon bar should be enclosed just like the granola/ pecan bar section. I’ve have come in on a few occasions and have changed my mind about buying because flies have a free for all on the sweet treats. Please, please fix this!
I like eating healthy and trying different healthy menus at a competitive price. I was disgusted in Whole foods. There prices are a rip off to its consumers. I purchased a package of chicken breasts that contained 5 breasts and the price was $35.99 and a pound of tuna $14.00 Eating healthy shouldnt put a hole in your wallet.
Im a regular in the Whole Foods Market in Schaumburg, IL and they have a mean old lady as a cashier that lied to me that the price on my receit is after amazon prime discount. When I went home I saw that there was no discount, I live far so its not worth it to go back. But this is absurd.
Within the last few months I think they have changed the pizza dough recipe and to me it looks like the dough is no longer fresh and the sauce just isnt as good. Overall it went from being good quality pizza to now really horrendous. The frozen whole foods pizza tastes better and the crust is crispier.
Not a happy camper. Not a big fan of people handing out samples nor am I happy with the bait and switch with samples only to find out at the cash register that I am about to pay $15.00 for a tub of guacamole.Today. Some lady peddling her cookies. First thing I asked her was how much. $8.00 she said. The price works out to be about $1.10 per cookie. I told her that I think some companies are bumping up the cost at the expense of the consumer desire to eat healthy. The then says that she cares about what her kids eat and that she is running a business and there are costs involved with running a business. (Like I dont care what I feed my kids)Sorry. I dont care about her kids and how much it costs to run her business and I am certainly not going to buy anything from anyone that snaps at me. Big Fail. When you have people handing out samples at your facility, they should not be upsetting customers and they should have a more competitive price structure..$1.10 is way too much for any cookie. I care about what I eat. Enough to pay the extra but I think this one has gone too far..
The food prices where rather high and the food I had here was bland. The newly renovated play area is half the size it used to be, however they still have the same old broken toys, and they still do not clean it. I used to take my daughter here for lunch, she no longer wants to go back. She told me its not fun anymore.
I only found two items out of about 6 at Whole Foods. No Low carb tortillas, bread, yogurt. They did not carry soy flour either. I went there because of their reputation of having diverse food items. Meijer has the low-carb tortillas and Trader Joes has the low carb bread and flour at half the price of Whole Foods. I was also charged too much for the produce I bought. I had to tell the cashier that it was on sale, and she adjusted the price. Im very disappointed, and will not go back.
Whole Foods has it all. If youre looking for organically sourced, Non-GMO and healthy food options, Whole Foods has it all.Bring your shopping list and make sure you have some time on your hands because youre going to want to walk down every single aisle so you dont miss a thing and bring your wallet because eating a healthy diet is a great idea but its not cheap either. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for so come invest in your health, youll be thanking yourself for years to come!
Enormous but not overwhelming selection of fine foods. Staff is present and kind. The prepared section is vast. Aisles among aisles, lined with new flavors and snacks that will soon make it on the must have on hand always list. New partnership with Amazon Prime gives members additional 10% discount. Many items fearured on rotating promotion, so if one shops deliberately can be a moderate priced trip. Connecting with the local community to promote wellness access to all, less or no GMOs (at least adequately labled) and more sustainable measures (composting food waste, choosing less plastic) would receive a 5 rating. Didnt know I loved goldenberrries, mimolette cheese till whole foods. Thank you.
Excellent, fresh fish, huge variety of nuts, large selection of unusual cheeses, great chicken salad in the deli, nice olive bar, pretty plants and flowers, many gluten free options, best cinnamon bites, etc. Also, the bone-in thick pork chops are wonderful when cooked on the grill, the turkey burgers are tasty.
Excellent and healthier foods (although not all) compared to a normal grocery store like Woodmans. But if you want to save for retirement, you should avoid all Whole Foods Market stores except for the rare occasion due to its overwhelming prices, which will help reduce your bank account.
This place is horrible. The workers are very inexperienced and dont know anything about the food or the products they sell. The food and products are waaaay overpriced. We made the mistake of ordering a meal that was supposed to feed 8-10 people. 1st, we picked up the meal, got it home and the turkey was missing. 2nd the meal we received could maybe feed 3 adults, definetly not 8-10 3rd the green beans werent cooked, the stuffing was nothing more that dry whole wheat bread, the mashed potatoes were runny.I will not shop there ever again
If you are a normal shopper like me with a leaning towards organic when pricing is reasonable, and not a Whole Foods only or a WF lifestyle shopper; and living in the Schaumburg area where you have many alternatives with full mobility in your own automobile, this is just another grocery niche store with its own characters and selections, definitely stands out though but still cannot be my exclusive one stop shop place. This is WF store is more like a large size modern WF store built from ground up and lacks the fun and neighborhood store atmosphere, compared to say, the WF in Palo Alto which entice you to go in, grab a coffee, grab something for breakfast or lunch; the fruits and baked goods attack your senses as you walk in. Anyway, I will recommend exploring this store and seeing what it means to you, what entice you to come back for from time to time. For me, it does have some valued added products that I like and I am willing to pay for the added value.
I want my WF back :( This use to be my favorite store until Amazon ruined it. Produce quality keeps declining. The store started to look dirty and scummy. I shopped here since day one, now I find myself shopping less and less. Lesser number of items make into my cart. I always bought my fresh and yummy seafood at WF. Last two visits you can smell the fish smell, never before. Fresh seafood is not to smell fishy, the odor develops when it is old and starting to go bad. The high quality organic, non gmo, and natural ingredient products, in great part, were replaced with run of the mill Jewell type foods. If I wanted those Id go to Jewell and pay 1/2 as much. Today, there were empty shelves in sections. I dont mean one or two products gone. I mean entire shelves lacked ANY product in multiple deparments.Never seen this before Amazon. Ingredient listings in bakery and prepared foods no longer exist nor do they taste as well.If as a customer you had a problem with a snooty shopper clientel, no worries no longer there. They must of left and gone where the good food is. Anyone know where the good stuff went? I find myself trying to drive out to producer only farmers markets and shopping more at Trader Joes. If all of the stores are like this, I dont think WF will remain open much longer. I want my healthy, yummy, know what you put in my food store back 😭
Great clean location, although the Eats section would be even better if there were associates to tend to the food and correct labels more frequently, as it was often difficult to discern between meat and non-meat products, due to labeling. Otherwise, a clean and nice location with a great varied selection and nice staff
A ROACH in my seaweed salad ! And a very bad customer service from employee named EDMEE !. Halfway eating my seaweed salad i noticed a roach and got very concerned, called the store the manager Michelle was nice and professional offered a credit and new salad on them has made the notes for their stuff said to come in to get it taken care of. Edmee from c.service there didnt even want to look in the system for notes and said she gets a lot of emails from her manager she cant find it, and give me Uhhh that she didnt feel like looking in the system at all. Didnt want to refund it, no apologies no sorry no thank you for being a loyal customer or that they will take care of the issue. The worst customer service i ever had in general and i work with customers every day. All she had to do is be polite at least . This has left me speechless i didnt even want to get my groceries there anymore. She didnt want to return it at all.. With the W.F stores closing down they should at least try and keep current cmrs to want to come back to them. REally ?

2022-02-06They have a very good pizza deal offering 2 huge pizzas for $24. These easily feed 5-6 people. Ingredients are all fresh and top quality. Sauce has a nice natural pulpy teal tomato flavor. Crust is nice and fluffy with a little bite. Nice change of pace pizza to have from our usual place. You can call and order ahead, order while shopping or dine in.

2022-03-30Very disappointed. Tried ordering 3 of their featured items at the diner, none of the options were available: TTLA sandwich they didn’t have the tempeh, asked for the All- Out Vegie instead answer was they didn’t have the ingredients and my husband tried ordering their Greek Bifteki burger and same thing, they’re still working on getting the ingredients to put the burger together. Why do you have them listed then on the menu and also on the featured items board in front of the diner?

2022-02-19It is always a pleasure to visit Whole Foods. I like the fact that they carry the best food items. When I buy something from here, I know it will be good. I especially like the 365 items. They are good and comparatively inexpensive. Hope they maintain the standards.

2022-02-26Love this location. The underground parking is cool when it’s raining. I love the vegan options at the bakery. Amazing! Self checkout is amazing and the store feels big enough where you aren’t stumbling upon each other

2022-03-11If it werent for their prices, I would probably go here for my groceries every time. It is most likely my top option when it comes to groceries, but, as much as I want the goodies from this store, the prices are noticeably higher compared to Jewel or to any other store I know. I like the store when it comes to the goodies they have because literally anything I could need or want is available in this store. Everything is of good quality. The selection they have is great and, most importantly, fresh when it comes to their produce, meat, bakery, seafood, and even prepared meals. I could say everything good about this store, but these are all nothing given that the prices are important to me and as much as I want to have my groceries in this store. I would rather go to the other stores around me that have reasonable prices. I would definitely save a lot if I went to other stores for my groceries, but I would still definitely go in here sometimes if needed.

2022-05-24The standing joke used to be Whole Pay CHECK however, that has changed. Theyve actually come down on some item prices but you still get the quality. I live a vegan lifestyle now and WF is a great place for me to shop whether I want organic o conventional. The store is always immaculate and the staff are friendly and helpful.Id like to send out special thanks to Jason and Cole. Both of these guys came to my rescue today going above and beyond to help me. ( and they were friendly on top of it) !It is always nice when someone actually helps instead of just pointing.Again, thank you Jason and ColeYou are appreciated 👍👍

2022-07-17Ordered a birthday cake and requested they write “happy birthday” on it & the woman on the phone told me “no just tell them when you come in, it only takes a minute”...I was pressed for time so when I was on my way to pick up the cake, I called and asked them to PLEASE put writing on it. Told “no” again. When I get there I see that someone else got the exact same cake with “happy birthday” written on it. They were able to pick it up easily.Mine had nothing of course so I asked AGAIN if they could do that. She tells me “it’s not written on the form that we need to write anything..”That’s just so weird right?? What’s up with your bakery staff? Just write Happy birthday on it

2021-02-01My previous review was 5 stars. But Ive had some unpleasant experiences recently. I bought fish and asked to be cleaned and sliced. When I got home I noticed that the fish is cleaned only inside and sliced. I dont know if anyone eats fish with scales. But it was very difficult to remove scales from each piece of fish. A couple weeks ago I was served by another employee in fish section. He is a skinny and tall man. His attitude was very rude! I refused to ask for something else because his dissatisfaction and wickedness was visible on his face and actions.
