This was my third time coming to Whitney’s shop. Each time before I was really impressed with the service and the vibe within the shop. This time I was pretty disappointed… I showed Sarai (my nail tech) an inspiration picture for my nail design for a wedding I had the next week. It was an oval shape with a basic French design. She immediately started filing all my nails into a square shape. When I spoke up and told her that I wanted them oval, it was too late. She had already taken off too much length for them to be desired shape on both hands. These are my natural nails so it’ll take a while for them to grow back. The gel polish was applied very thick and uneven on all of my nails with bubbles on some nails. The French design is uneven and not opaque on all the nails. I thanked my nail tech for her time and tipped her fairly as I was 5 mins late to my appointment time. But it’s safe to say, I won’t be returning because a simple design/ service could not be executed well. I really wanted to support a black owned business in town so hopefully they can resolve these issues for future clients.
Whitney love is by far the best nail tech in Aurora she’s super professional. I jus love her when u make an appointment and u get there you wash and sit down immediately and the way she handles her customers she makes u feel like family everybody should come. She got the black girl magic I will never go anywhere lol else

I had such a fun and amazing experience in Whitneys 1 on 1 nailtech workshop. She is such an amazing teacher and person. Whitney really went above and beyond to make me and the other student feel so comfortable throughout the class. It was overall a great first step to a sparking nailtech career.
If you want your nails done RIGHT the first time, second time and every time after, go to Whitneys. They only use the best products and these women know their stuff. I go to Lily and she truly makes it a personalized experience. I change my mind a lot, sometimes in the middle of her doing them and she is always accommodating. I have literally had my nails grow out for 3 and a half weeks with no lifting, cracking or breakage. She truly pays close attention. At other nail salons they rush and sometimes hurt my nails or make my cuticles bleed. Not at Whitneys love. You can tell they take pride in their work. I always get exactly what I ask for and it LASTS. It may be slightly pricier than those mega asian salons but its because of quality and training. Trust me you will leave impressed and absolutely elated with exactly what you want. Stop reading this and book online right now!

My Queen that helps me is Natalie ♥️ I love her so much! She does such an awesome job each time! She is always on time, great communication and very understanding! She is very sweet as well, all the ladies are! The place is so welcoming right away everyone says Hi once you walk in! They make you feel like they’ve known you for a long time! I love getting my facials, eyebrows waxed by Natalie and my nails, she does an awesome job on my new set of gel nails and did I say she makes press-one for on the go and they are so easy to put on! Very convenient for a late notice event that you are having! They will be seeing me again!

My friend referred me to Whitney after a few bad experiences with my nails in the area. I booked an appointment with her and she blew it out of the water. I am not even close. I live 45 minutes away and will continue to come to her.On top of doing a great job she is friendly and welcoming. We never have a boring moment the whole time Im there. She has a forever customer here.
I really enjoyed my first visit at Whitney’s Love. I came to support a small Black owned business and to get a no chip manicure and tropical pedicure. The staff was very friendly and kind and I did not have to wait for my appointment. Whitney is very knowledgeable and thoughtful in her work. One of the highlights (aside from the good music) was that I could see the full service aspect of her salon. A patron was in the process of getting their hair done by the stylist and the finished product was beautiful. I really enjoyed the warm lotions during the pedicure and the massage chair! For some reason that massage chair knew exactly what my back and side bits needed so much so that I didn’t want to get up. The service was very affordable at $60 total. I encourage you to book with Whitney!

I recently had a customized intimate spa birthday party for my daughter and it was amazing. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcomed. Everything was cleaned and sanitized between services. We were able to bring in food for brunch for the girls to complete the experience. Whitney personally made sure every detail was catered too. I also receive beauty services there. I highly recommend.

I wanted to come here because I’ve heard nothing but good things about this salon but as I walked up to the door I seen a huge sign on the door that said NO KIDS!!!!! I wanted to have a day with my 5 year old and 1 year old but couldn’t. I understand why they don’t want kids but my kids are very well behaved and like some people I don’t have anyone to watch my kids. They also wanted to charge me $85 for a full short set, no design because I was a new client. I didnt understand the price seeing that I don’t have bad nail beds or anything on my nails. I left and went to deluxe nails on orchard. Amazing service from them! They welcomed me and my kids instantly, their pricing was reasonable as well. I will never go back to Whitney’s ever again!
I really enjoy the shop atmosphere and my nail tech Cynthia is a sweet heart I would continue to use her service and recommend her to others any day,! She did my 3 yr old daughters nails and treated her like a little Queen.!
I just left this location and WILL NEVER GO BACK! The girl that did my nails yesterday had previously done my nails a few times. I was satisfied with her work but yesterday she just completely cut my nails EXTREMELY SHORT WITHOUT EVEN ASKING ME. Not only did she take it upon herself to cut them extremely short but each nail was cut in different lengths. I was trying to be nice and just deal with it but my nails were extremely uncomfortable because of the way she cliped them. So I decided to send her a text message informing her of my unsatisfactory and she responded back so apologetic and she even offered to fix my nails today. So I decided to go today right after work. When I got there, she was working on another customer and rudely told me to have a seat. Its almost as if she was do bothered that I was there. When she finally set her other customer at the chair for a pedicure, she quickly rushed me to her and did not even ask how can she fix my nails. Instead she just completely cut them off even shorter and when I got up to walk away, all she said was..sorry Maggie. Yeah, Im sorry too. Im sorry I dont remember your name, I would of added it here on my review. If only you would of ACTUALLY CARED TO MAKE THING RIGHT AND ACTUALLY FIXED MY NAILS INSTEAD OF CLIPPING THEN EVEN SHORTER. YOU WOULD OF HAD A LOYAL CUSTOMER IN ME. And to think I tipped this women the times I went their. She didnt really deserve it. Needless to say, you just lost a customer in me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

I went to Whitneys salon for the first time a few weeks ago and I was very nervous after Quarantine but I felt very safe the salon was so clean and organized she made sure we were socially distancing while getting services. My no chip has never looked better!! Whitney takes her time and makes sure your happy with the result. She did cute designs that were simple but so beautiful. Then I had my hair done by Dana and my hair has never been this straight!!! I have very thick curly hair and Dana was gentle and we had great conversation. Definitely recommending this salon to everyone I know!!!
Love coming here and getting my nails done. All these girls snap but Sky has been doing my nails for a couple months now and she kills it every time! Definitely recommend coming here its an all in one salon plus you cant beat the vibes. Love you girls see you again next week. ❤️

After waiting for 20 minutes for my technician to arrive, everything was going fine until I had to ask her to cover up the remainder of my last dark polish. My nail color chipped the next day.
I just want to take out the time to write a review from a former employees stand point. This has absolutely been the best place Ive worked thus far. Whitney has been nothing but a role model and example for women who want a career in this field. She is hard working, encouraging and loving! She motivated me to to step outside my comfort zone and also provided a safe space to grow and flourish. If given the opportunity I would 100% work at her salon again. She has a way of brightening up the atmosphere and shows through her clients and employees!

Lilly did an amazing job on my nails. I am so pleased!😊 She is so sweet and friendly. She asked me if I was happy with the shaping of my nails ; No one has ever asked me that before. When she was done polishing my nails I noticed one of them was a little clumpy. She redid the nail without an attitude. Yesterday was my first time their and Lilly made me feel so at home and she actually talked to me lol. This place is very professional and very clean. I cannot wait to get my new set in 2 weeks ! I recently went to Whitneys location for a Ombre service. This was my 1st time getting this service. Sarai did my nails and she did a fantastic job! I received great service and great nails. I will be trying one of their pedicure services this week for the 1st time. Really looking forward to it. Happy to find and support a Black business owner within the area.

I receive all of my beauty services from her from the beautiful unique nail art to the most simple nail care, from the most glamorous make to a everyday look, and versatile hairstyles, I am always elated with the finish results. Honestly 5 stars is not enough. Whitney will go above and beyond for her clients. I had facial done and wax done the esthetician really did a great job my face is clearer I had hydration facial which she recommended I do. Really like her approach to her technique she uses turmeric and hibiscus base products. Vitamin c CBD ALL the good stuff. Sarai did my nails she’s so talented I love my nails. Def will be going back and making it my go to forsure. Thank you guys. The prices are fair and upfront too. Not like these other place when you go pay it’s a different every time you go and their quality of product/work isn’t even worth it.

I had to get my nails done for a special event and had very little time . I was looking for a particular style and color , which i was afraid would not be able to get done . 2021-12-21Whitney is the best nail tech around. I wish we had a Whitney’s Love in California!! Whitney did a Christmas set for me and I’m in love with the way they look, and also very happy with the whole experience. Her shop is a vibe for sure!! She was professional, creative, and so kind!! Her whole staff was professional and friendly. Whitney offered something to drink and had great music playing. This was the best experience I’ve ever had in a nail shop!! She will be my go to anytime I’m visiting Illinois! Keep up the great work Whitney!! ☮️💜

2022-07-13Best pedicure ever!!I have had problems with cracked dry skin on my heels and I have been to a bunch of different places for pedicures. This was by far the best pedicure I have ever received! The effort and time they put in to make my feet feel brand new was amazing! They went above and beyond what any other nail salon has done to help with my cracked skin. I will 100% be returning to Whitney’s Love Nail & Beauty Bar as my new routine to keep my feet healthy. The people are so friendly and it was a joy to be there.I also got a basic manicure and my hands have never felt better!

2021-07-01The proprietress of the hair salon I go to recommended this shop to me. It is a newer business to the area and passing it every morning on my way to work made me curious, so I went ahead and booked a Whitney Wednesday no-chip with Sky. She and I had chatted briefly about what I wanted beforehand, so as soon as my nails were prepped, Sky got to work. She was warm, professional, and extremely talented. I love my nails and I have received so many complements. At this appointment, I also added on a last minute express pedicure service with Sky. For a nominal upcharge, I decided to add on a no-chip for my toes as well. My experience was very positive here and I felt at ease and welcome. I will continue to recommend Whitney’s Love to all my friends and family. Most importantly, I am so pleased with the service, skill, and value that I have booked services for my birthday celebration coming up in a few weeks!
