Nice decorations. Music playing, seems festive! Lots of people. Some places like Cheesecake factory were closed but offer other services to deliver. Corner bakery is order inside only, seating outside. Rediculous sales going on @ Macys and Rogers n Holland!
Impressed with the upgrades to this place. This Zara has way more options than the ones in the city. The Madewell has great sales, and the Kendra Scott location is so nice (+frequent sales).
Not many places to sit, most are in the hot sun. Very few shaded/covered areas so no place to walk if it rains. Oakbrook Mall is way better!
Its a good mall. You have alot of options for shopping and they have some good restaurants also their. It was very easy to get their, we took 201 and it stopped just on the back side of mall. They also have cmx theatre.
Nordstrom’s has a nice assortment. Easy free parking next to it. Convenient to access from Rt 94. Cafe is quite good too.
Flowers, murals, beautiful outdoor spaces for walking or sitting. Good vibe! Favorite spots are the bakery, rolled ice cream shop and Amazon store.
I really enjoy this mall. There is a great selection of stores and very up to date public areas. I would say they should update the bathrooms but otherwise great. The main fountain has a great vibe with the repurpose to be a huge planter (see pic I submitted). Lots of fresh shops for eating and the parking garages on each side of the mall make it really easy to access the shops you desire quickly without long walks from a huge parking lot.
This mall is fine if youre a stay at home mom with no professional job. Dont come here if you need clothing or shoes for corporate America. Its like they cater to stay at home wives/moms or spoiled daughters with no real job. Cant shop here because they literally dont carry items for working women. Its sad and it sucks.
Outdoors. Diverse. Clean. Well patrolled. Nice for shopping or family day out. Public bathrooms were outta order tho.

Very impressive Mall. Ive not been to this mall in over 20 years since I now live in Indiana. Nice array of stores. Great shopping destination. Very friendly mall and store staff personnel. Easy access via public transportation. Indeed, I used public transportation to get to this mall from Indiana.
A really pleasant place to walk about. the stores are kinda upscale, so I mostly just window shop, but its always a good time. in recent years, whenever I go, the place has been a tad empty -- maybe theyve fallen on hard times. if true, I really hope they can recover. also RIP the food court with the giant apple on top that closed ~15 years ago.
Great experience overall, huge variety of stores to chose from. Good to take the family and enjoy outdoor weather while shopping. Not so much during the winter, but overall I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an upscale shopping experience.

What a lovely outdoor mall! There is plenty of parking and a fabulous selection of stores with some heavy weight anchor stores. The selection of restaurants is also a real treat. We love visiting this mall if we want to avoid downtown! I do wish they have some heated areas to catch some warmth during the colder days. Still an excellent mall to shop and enjoy a day at!!
This is directly across from where I work. Therefore, it is a nice place to pick up some essentials and have a delicious lunch or dinner. I like that it has a great mix of restaurants and shopping. Also, it is very convenient to the expressway (I-94 - Edens).
Gorgeous open concept design. This mall gives you west coast vibes. The stores are great and the flowers in the walk are beautiful.
I really love the stores in this mall. Its been quite some time since I lived in Illinois, but this goes down as one of my favorite malls. I had to get a few things while visiting the Chicago area, and I found that this mall has a lot of the stores I love.
We came here to buy new clothes and shoes for my baby. Shes getting bigger and bigger day by day. And her shoes, sandals and clothes do not fit anymore to her. My grandma will take care of our baby as of now while we buy her new clothes. We came here early to get home early. We buy our first sandals and shoes here. It looks cute to her and perfectly fits her since my wife knows her size. Then we went to the selection of clothes for kids to buy dresses, shirts and blouses. We bought a lot with a different design. It is also cute to her. Then we buy a skirt, shorts and pants. We choose cute and cool designs. By 3 pm we came home and we bought everything we needed for our baby.
Just like going here. Lots of great stores and you get to walk outside not hemmed in a mall.
Most beautiful shopping complex in Skokie. From Donut to Rolex. You name it they got it.

I prefer this mall next to Harlem Irving Plaza. They both have solid stores. Old orchard is mainly an outside shopping center. If its a warm summer say this place is the go-to location.
I love that they are still an outside mall, its beautiful, clean and full of great places to visit. During the warm seasons I love to participate in their car shows.
Its an open air mall! Thats great but I wish someone told me before I went there since it was cold. Cant wait to come back and visit in the summer.

Been to this Chicago north suburb shopping center for a few times over the last couple years. Love the LL Bean store there, which could be the closest one to downtown Chicago. There are many other fine shops and department stores such as Macys and Bloomingdales to choose from. Something special was I just went back from the inaugural Taste of Korea Chicago over the weekend, which was held at the west parking lot next to Bloomingdales. This is likely to continue and become an annual event.

Great alternative to Oakbrook mall, very clean, lots of shops, and high end. Of course it’s freezing in the winter but in the summer it’s really nice!

Over the years my family has shopped at Old Orchard hundreds of times: Apple, Macys, William Sonoma, Crate And Barrel, Bloomingdales all come to mind. BUT NO MORE: you now pay an extra tax to shop or dine there. And that money is funneled back to Westfield, the mall management company. So now instead of the already expensive 10.25% tax on merchandise, you pay 11.25%. For restaurants, the numbers climb to 13.25%. No friggin way: this place is dead to us.
Upscale Stores, great restaurants, and amazing specialty stores. A must visit.

A Beautiful shopping center filled with all upmarket brands and good eateries in too. If you are thinking of good times with friends and family its good place to hangout. Kids have fun in the play areas. There are some great spots to do photoshoots too. There is much to explore at the rooftop dining place. Have fun and best shopping experience with lower prices.
So many stores and restaurants that you really dont need to go elsewhere. Love their Christmas decorations.
Its an outdoor mall but has a lot of great stores. It has the usual department stores (Macys, Nordstrom...) and then the smaller usual shops like Timberland, Free People, Francescas. Im a big fan of driving to this mall from the city because its nice and not too far.
I love old orchard in the summer. It is great for wandering “the cube” is a great place for introverts to destress from the crowds and there are tents like a farmers market for non perishables throughout on weekends. Little grassy areas make it a place to be and the new theater sounds great. In the winter rosemont fashion outlets.

The security at this mall sucks! Co parked vehicle dinged my door and I requested them to look into this, they said they can’t until it is a police case. A simple help would have gone a long way!
Wide open sidewalks and outdoor-styled shopping mall, great in a nice warm day. Not so great when its pouring rain or slippery and snowy.
We love being apart of their many fun events. Westfield Old Orchard is the go to place for a fantastic shopping and great atmosphere!
Nice variety of stores and restaurants. Located closer to expressway and parking is not at all a problem. Definitely worth visiting and shopping.

A great outdoor mall. A lot of nice stores and sitting areas as well. It was a cooler windy day but being there around noon you get plenty of sunlight to keep you warm. The place is pretty spotless and there is plenty of room to walk around and not bump into people.
I mean, its a mall. Do we need these anymore? How about some affordable housing or healthcare just to switch it up, America?
Great place to shop, there was a dj playing holiday music outside. There were plenty of kids walking around window shopping and because its open air. They never seem to stop moving.
Lots of really good stores, restaurants, and loads of parking space. Stores are close to each other. All kinds of stores for clothing, house items, etc. They observe covid19 cleaning practices, like cleaning after customers at the till. Security is also good as they had cops on site. Definitely visit.

I went there for a restaurant for lunch and to a shoe store and it was great.There are a lot of real nice stores.

Its a nice open shopping mall. Great in summer time when you can just walk around while shopping. It offers a wide variety of shopping options with Apple store, Barnes & Noble, Crate & Barrel, Lord & Taylor, Macys, Nordstorm, Forever 21 being some of the major stores. And when you are done shopping you also have great options to eat out like Cheese Cake factory, Nandos, Potbelly and others. CMX cinemas also just recently opened in Old Orchard. It has plenty of parking all around but on weekends its hard to find a spot. Overall a great place to spend your day.

The mall is beautiful and well cared for. We loved all the flowers, fountains and pond. Also more comfortable seeing mall security walk through one of the stores we were in.Very clean as well. Cudos to the grounds staff and overall management.
Nice mall. It did go down in the 90s but they have completely redone the mall
Went to Shack Shake to eat. Was not crowded got food fast. My first time eating here was really good and fresh. My family really enjoyed the food. Pricey but this is the case these days, at least it was very good.

Despite the loss of major anchor department stores at other malls, Old Orchard seems to be holding onto its Nordstrom and Macys tenants. It has a good variety of other stores. I was particularly impressed by the number active outdoor merchandise options. There is a multiplex movie house and numerous restaurants.

I LOVE Old Orchard Mall to such an extent!! , ..Not just the Great Shops, ..But All the Decorations are so Gorgeous!!!!... in case you are on a Festive Spirit Mood or on the other hand assuming you need to be on it ,...You Cant Miss it!!.. also, interestingly, its FREE!! :) they have a Fire place 🔥..and drinking fountains ⛲️ ....plus all the Christmas trees 🎄 ..Hanukkah adornment and where you can snap a Photo with the Grinch !!!!..and obviously every one of the stores, 🛍🎁I resembled WOW! They did an extraordinary job⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!!
This mall has kept up its outdoor charm and beauty. It is always evolving with new stores and new designs. A good place to shop or just hangout, walk and enjoy nice coffee, tea or dinner.. Place has good restaurants and fast food place on site..

Parking is horrible, stores are run down ie. broken door handles, doors blocked off with tape, long lines at registers and limited choices of merchandise.
Most of their stores are out dated and dont have much to offer anymore. Plus I miss their book store and Johnny rockets.
I love all the updating they have done to Old Orchard. The outdoor spaces are so nice for kids and adults. Theyve addes some great food options as well. The stores are nice and there are several high end options like Henry Bendel and Bloomingdales, as well as your basic standarss like Gap and Macys. I love coming here with the kids because I can shop and also take them to the outdoor park. And to top it off we can get cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory!
So disappointed and sad to see so many empty stores; so many of our favorite stores closed.
Checked out Macys Clearance.We found Great deals.Tops as low as 9.99 and a very sharp dark denim dress for under 15.00 dollars.I did buy a couple of items not on their sale racks.I figure with with all my savings,I could pick out a special outfit with the extra cash.Well worth it!

You can find a variety of restaurants. It is a beautiful outdoor mall. With beautiful fountains. It has several areas with children playgrounds. It has it also has a variety of shops. Perfect for the spring summer and fall.
I love this mall and the selection of shops and brands here. A gorgeous Nordstrom and nice Macys serve as anchors as well. Good dining selections. As long as the weather is pleasant you can spend a great day here!

Old Orchard Mall is a nice place to hang out with family and friends. Theres your usual assortment of upper-scale shops which cater to all age ranges. The CMX theater is the highlight because it completely changes the experience. Its ruined all other theaters for me. Sorry AMC!However, Im heartbroken over Barnes and Nobles closing down Its location at Old Orchard Mall. It was my home base while the family sauntered around the mall, my calm in the storm. Living across from the mall I can see B&N from my window and it was heartwarming to know it was there. No more. Sigh! Old Orchard Mall suits...you need to reassess your priorities.
I went to Nordstrom to return an item there were seven to eight people in front of me I waited in the line patiently. as soon as I got to the cash register I was relieved my turn!The cashier said its time for me to go home she signed out, and proceeded to walk away. My husband asked her to please just check us out you just did another ladies return the front of us and it didnt take no time we only have one item. She said oh Im sorry but I have to go and we ask to speak to her manager so she walked over to another checkout area oh, she whispered something in the ladys ear walked away. We waited for this lady and she had three people in front of us as she proceeded to take care of our transaction she apologized she had good customer skills and she took care of us right away and we left I was so disappointed. I was hurt. I felt like I was profiled.
Its a great place to go for shopping and walk. Great variety of shops ,(prices medium to high) Always clean, there is a pond with koy fish, playground for kids and a big variety of restaurants. Coffee shops including Starbucks, etc. A great place to spend a hole afternoon.
Window shopping n relaxing with joe donuts n Starbucks coffee in the afternoon. Sitting area on the park are clean n not to crowded. I really like the outside mall on summer..part of my walking exercise.
Love to walk this mall, sometimes I just walk around the mall bc it’s so well lit. There are lots of store like the Nespresso store, Amazon 4 stars, lush, and pandora that I love to visit.

Prejudice white folk everywhere. The store me and my son went in sold baseball caps and jerseys. When entered there was a white chick standing behind the counter, she did not greet us, but ten minutes later a white couple comes in and she greeted them so loud I said something, I told her wow 😲 we didnt get that greeting when we walked in. She claimed she did but she didnt, so, I wont go there anymore.
Clean and lots of parking to access by preferred stores.Outdoor mall safe and patrolled with interesting higher end retailers for the most part. I went there for Doctors appointments in Professional building. Easy underground parking steps away from the office. Also good place to walk for exercise from one end of the mall to the other--- with costly diversions that could slow you down.
Visited the Cheesecake Factory for a special occasion, was sitted right away, server was curtious and attentive, food came fast had a good experience. Will definitely be returning.

This is one of the best malls that I visited in a long time. They have a great selection of stores, both luxury and average. When the weather is right you can walk around for hours and then grab something great to eat at the many restaurant facilities that they have.

Cute open mall, we went for the delicious rolled ice creams at Safron, there was plenty of parking space and the mall very clean, not to crowded so we enjoyed our ice cream sitting outside sunbathing.

Just shopping at Sur La Table, ordered online, parking & pick-up was a breeze, in and out of the mall in minutes at mid day.

Just posting a warning to those of you that shop at Westfield Old Orchard. There is an increase in tax there 13% for restaurants and a 1% making it 11.25%.
Whenever I come here there are some good discounts.

We had our Christmas party there this year and I must say that was the most boring Christmas party I ever been to the food was cold it was a Marcianos they had table cloth covering the tables and if you lift up the table cloth it was raggedy tables that were hiding up under the tablecloth so I think it was a real rip off and they had it at the lower level in the basement of the restaurant and it was cold down there too
This is my favorite outdoor shopping center based solely on my preferences. Its not horrendously big. I can walk around, window shop and get some exercise. There have been many changes over the years so its kind of a mystery coming here. I never know what store has closed and what has opened in its place. Its an interesting place to people watch if thats your thing.
I love this outdoor mall because it has a wide variety of shops, but even more because the whole place is pet friendly and my dog can come shop with me!
The mall was busy. It was nice to see people out having a good time and shopping again. Great sales but you have to look for them. You need to pace yourself and look for the deals. It is a large mall.

I really enjoy this mall, especially because its outdoors..Our last visit was October,2020;during the pandemic,it seemed like too many stores were closed,but I understand. Ill go back when things go back to normal. I love the great food choices,there is something for everyone there,If I could change anything, Id add more outdoor seating

There was a torrential downpour and we had nowhere to go. There was a fair going on and it was disastrous. Everyone was soaked everybodys merchandise was soaked it was just a bad day for the fair. But overall Westfield Old orchard Mall is a great mall and it does deserve ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ instead of ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This shopping center never disappoints, even on a mild winter evening. The center has a great variety of restaurants and shops, something for everyone! Its clean and well maintained. Great parking! Easy to get to from interstate. Plus, even though the mall is outside, there are covered areas in most of the center for inclement weather.
Cheesecake Factory was wonderful. The BEST Caramel De Leche Ive every tasted and the staff was fast, courteous and super attentive even tho we went on a busy Friday night. 5 Stars, for sure!
Mall has lots of great stores and good amenities in the common areas. Children have a few places to entertain themselves and get tired so parents can shop in peace.

This is the second time I have come to this outdoor mall and it was a warm day. It was a bit tough to navigate even with the maps and it would be a little difficult to truly enjoy during the winter months, but it has a great collection of stores and options for shopping. The koi ponds are fun, though it could have done a bit better on maintaining the mask policy. However, it was a fun time

The pictures are from Cheesecake Factory.. There was a bit of wait since it was a Sunday and around lunch time. The avocado eggroll appetizer was pretty good, Bellagio chicken was good also 😋 and the steak taco.. of course the tiramisu slice and their bread with butter on the side before serving everything else... everything are divine!!!

Outdoor mall with plenty of retail stores and restaurants to pick from either for a light snack or a complete meal. Theres plenty of play places where you can take the kids for a much needed shopping break. Security roams the mall as well as local local police to keep the place safe. Seasonal decorations and events are much enjoyable. Ample parking and easily accessed via public transportation. This place is definitely family oriented and pet friendly.

Great combination of stores. Just wish they had better posting when driving to store locations.I had a very difficult time trying to find the Amazon 4 star. However, I had a really nice time there and a great shopping experience.

I have always loved old orchard because it was a great place to take the kids and get some shopping done. However, they closed the play area due to covid and although everything else is reopened without restrictions, they have kept this part closed. I have called several times and no one is able to give any updates what’s so ever. I can’t bring my kids there as they will nag me to go to the play area which is impossible. I’m frustrated that is seems they are using covid as the excuse to keep it closed and at the same time, offering no information as to if or when they will open it. Makes moms like me unable to go. I would not write this review if it wasn’t for the fact that the higher ups are not communicating anything about this and there seemingly is no way to find out.
This is a place where outdoor artificial fountains and landscapes are created. However, there are not many people in each shopping store, and there is no lively feeling in the mall.
Okish mall. Not as good as it use to be.They closed down many stores and different stores i never shop at are here. Parking is always hard to find on weekends. Other than that it is a ok outdoor mall. Lots of walking to get to one part of the mall to the other end.
Great outdoor mall with large variety of stores appealing to many shoppers interests, tastes, and pocketbooks. Interesting variety of restaurants thrown in, plus movies and you can stay all day and into the evening if you have the time and the stamina! Go on, take a walk from Nordstroms to Bloomingdales--end to end with lots of fun in between...and a good longish walk for an outdoor mall!

This is THE shopping mall to visit! When I was in MY early 20s, all of the COOL stores were in this mall!
Lots of great stores but most are pricy. Walk outdoors between stores. Center has places for outdoor games including baggo to play for free.
I really nice place with almost any store you can think of. However, always very busy and very hard to find parking.
Great outdoor mall for an outing with friends or family. Always clean and has outdoor greenery, fountains, and seating. Lots of restaurants (both adult and family friendly), shops, and 2 VR entertainment centers. While the mall is big which might be confusing, there are plenty of directories to help you find your way.
After a long day at work, this place makes me want to shop! People are friendly, lots of stores, area is clean, and in the summer it’s nice to walk around. Check it out.
I love this small. I have so many fond memories from when I was younger to that of being an adult. Great place to walk around regardless of the weather. So many shops and things to do oh, its fun for the whole family. The food is fantastic and always choices abound. I only review the best of the best. Dont think about it, just go visit this outdoor mall. Trust me, itll be the best decision you made in a long time. Share and like.
I like this place. Not as crowded as most malls. Because it is outdoors it is more pleasant to walk around. It is pretty upscale and does not have many of the mall attractions that teens flock to do it is more civilized. Stores are more for show than for real needs (many are overpriced chains) but it makes for nice window shopping. The keep it up pretty well too. Its even nice in the winter because its nice to walk around when it is cold and walk into a nice store then walk around more.
What a nice, inclusive place for shopping!

2022-07-03I love this Shopping Center. It has a great variety of stores and eateries to choose from, don’t forget the movie theaters. Always clean and well maintained, plenty of outdoor seating with tables when you need to take that well deserved break from shopping til you drop. The Gold Fish pond is a big hit with both adults and children. The fountain located near “The Cheesecake Factory” (one of the most outstanding restaurants in the area) is so relaxing, you could fall asleep listening to the water cascading over and over. Finally, my favorite is the beautiful flowers that Westfield chooses to plant for our visual pleasure. So, bring yourself to this shopping center to enjoy shopping and what Mother Nature has to offer.

2021-09-21Up-scale mall. We all know how’s Westfield mall are this one same like quite, good restaurants, good people, numerous shops and great Insta structures. It’s a open mall shop so if you are not inside the shop you will be out of roof and we all know how’s Chicago winter is so make sure to plan according of you don’t want to frizzing in cold 🥶. But all over one of the best shopping mall in Chicago

2022-06-09Malls are struggling, but Old Orchard seems to be chugging along just fine. I enjoy going here. Great store lineup, good restaurant selection, and a nice place to visit when the weather is nice. Plus, they now have a donut shop thats killer good. It was pretty busy when I was here over the weekend.

2022-04-23My friend and I went to this shopping center yesterday. Shes with her daughter and I came with my son. We only used one car so it would not be a hassle to drive and park. We took so long to park our car since there was no space in their parking lot. We just waited for about 15 minutes before one car left. After we park our car we get out of the car. Our kids were so excited since there is a play area outside. We came here in the afternoon so we expected that there would be a lot of people here. At first we planned to eat first but our kids wanted to play.There are restaurants near the play area. We will choose a restaurant that has a dining area outside so we can have a view of our kids who played. After an hour, we went to a restaurant and ate our orders. Our kids did not enjoy the food in the restaurant but they enjoyed playing in the play area.

2022-06-17This place was so pretty and clean, I really, really liked it. It was a very pleasant place for me to spend my day especially my spending a few days in the Chicago Area. I got some really great samples and I was impressed by the very nice Customer Service that I got, that was a plus. Im very happy I visited here.

2022-04-13Premier mall in the Chicagoland area. It continues to evolve and thrive while other malls are shutting down. Good variety of stores and food options. Also great just to hang out and enjoy some fresh air.

2022-06-15I heal my inner teenager by going to the mall. Stop throwing coins in the Koi pond. Review your Lush receipt carefully. I was overcharged $70. Be prepared to have security at one store or another to treat you like a criminal. Still fun, though.
