Weber Grill Restaurant & Academy in other cities:
I really enjoyed the dinner experience. I had the grill master combo which was really good. The wings were some of the best I have had (honey sauce is almost as good as the famous Marks Feed Store in Louisville) and were very tender. The ribs had a great flavor and were cooked just right. The sausage was flavorful and spicy, not the best Ive ever had since Im from WI but pretty good. The crispy brussel sprouts were very good, highly recommend them. Everything very fairly priced for this area.
Excellent filet kabob! Beautifully cooked! My husband said the ribs were bad.Rice garlic mashed and brussel sprouts are some of the sides available. Super tasty. Warm bread served at table. Nice selection of wines and cocktails.. Excellent service. Pleasant atmosphere. Clean washrooms.
This was our first time to Weber Grill, looked good online and in review, let’s give it a shot. Well it started off on the wrong foot. Walk in and there are 5 people working the host stand. Takes them over a minute of us standing there for them to acknowledge our presence. Manager makes the suggestion they see about seating us. We get to our table and it’s at least 5 if not 10 minutes before we’re greeted by a server. When they did come by he didn’t have a pen to take our order. We ordered the smoked prime rib and an appetizer. About 10 minutes later we were told they were out of the smoked prime rib and suggested we each order a ribeye instead. What went from $44 to share would now be $48 each? No thanks…..we ended up just leaving. We really wanted to like this place! The decor feels dated, the prices are fairly high the service was slow. Overall not a great experience. The server and the manager DID apologize for being out of the smoked prime rib, and they DID comp our appetizer.
3 stars is fair because I didnt personally try too many items on their menu.To start, the menu has a small selection of foods/desserts, and the prices dont match what you get. I had The Firebird spicy fried chicken sandwich, which just didnt taste flavorful. The meat was pretty big, but nothing else makes me want to try it again. My party of 8 were all, including myself, ok with our meals, but it just didnt leave an impression. Service was nice and professional, and the bathrooms were clean. Weber is not top of my list, but maybe I just need to try a different meal next time.
We were seated quickly and service was great. The bread they bring out first was amazing. Rest of the food was only so so. My husband and son got burgers and they were overdone, slightly burnt. I got shrimp scampi which was fine. We also got a side of the garlic mashed potatoes and they were pretty bland. Everything was okay but not great as far as food went. Nice staple restaurant but nothing truly unique.
I have been to this location twice now in the past year and both times have been outstanding. The service was great both times. The first time we went we had Vigo as our server and he was amazing. Unfortunately, I did not get the other guys name but he was also great. The menu is awesome and has a lot of great choices and the food and desert was delicious both times. We will be back regularly when we are out this way. I constantly am recommending it more to friends and family.
My family and I went out here not too long ago. It was for my brothers birthday, and the service was very good. The server we had was ok, even though she told us it was her first night on the job.But the food was outstanding: From the appetizers to the main entrees, I enjoyed the meal we had together. To top it off, I had a chocolate bundt cake to take on the go. Wow, it was so delicious!Overall, I loved the food and service. Definitely Ill be coming back soon.
This was our first time here..we dont get out much during the pendemec. Our server was Mike. He was as friendly and as helpful as he could be. I could tell they were short handed because he was running around like crazy but he continued to make sure that we were taken care of...what a great guy..the food was amazing. Everything cooked to perfection. I highly recommended Weber Grill..
A friend and I came for lunch exactly at 11:30am (time they open) we were seated right away and offered water. I ordered the chicken salsa Verde entree. What I received was chicken pesto. Whatever green sauce that was on the chicken was definitely not salsa Verde. It was a thick smearing of what looked and tasted like pesto. Disappointed in the sauce, I really wanted a salsa Verde flavor like it described on the menu. Chicken and potatoes were cooked really well, but maybe a little over salted. Ask for light seasoning on the dishes here if you have a salt sensitivity like myself. I really liked the choices on their menu and service was amazing. I will definitely come back at another time to try more items.
The fish of the day was blackened Trout. Phenomenal. I will say I was a bit surprised, we arrived at noon on a Friday and it was essentially empty. Maybe its more crowded at night. The service was great and we received our food extremely quickly. Overall a great place to grab lunch. I will be back to try their Plank Salmon.
There to celebrate a birthday. We had the worst server ever. He couldnt care less about the tables he was covering. Could barely be attentive enough to take the order, let alone tell us specials / upsales. Never checked in. Two other tables had the same experience. Did let the hostess know and apps were covered because they were slow from the kitchen no, the server didnt give a flip. Unfortunately management never came over to smooth it out.
Weber grill as others have reviewed it is a great place / great food and service. My only issue is to avoid going at a weird time for dinner like 4:30pm - it’s not lunch and it’s not quite dinner time - so many food and dishes aren’t ready.- ribs not ready- bread are still in the oven- waiters handling more tables than normHopefully their POS systems provides this data to the management team to help address those issues. While we were bummed at the service at this time - we are still a fan of the place.
After The Last Bite Review -Tl;dr: Steaks are cooked to perfection. Service is timely and great. Wait times could be long but understandable.Must Try: Garlic Mash PotatoesDont Try: Onion Strings (Greasy, salty)Price: ~$20My Take: Service is great at both lunch and dinner.Steaks always cooked to perfection as well! Nothing more to say than this is one of my favorite steak houses to go. And yes I didnt put a steak for a must try because their Garlic Mash Potatoes are DELICIOUS. Must try. Even if you have to get it a la carte.
Food was okay, we ordered the prime burger, steakhouse salad, and the dip duo. All of the food tasted very much like it was once Frozen or that it was close to its shelf like. The red cabbage that was in my salad was extremely bitter and had very little crunch to it. My wife said the prime burger was lacking flavor but the meat was very juicy, also they forgot to add the garlic aioli to the burger(or at least not enough). The guacamole was definitely not fresh either. But overall the food was edible and we didnt mind finishing our meals. Id say 18$ for that small of a salad was not worth it. As well as the prime burger if dressed properly it would have been worth the money. Customer service was excellent and our waitress was kind and attentive. Probably wont be back to any Weber grill restaurant but I will continue to use their grills in the summertime!
We love Weber and always go around Valentines Day as it was the place we went for dinner after getting engaged around VDay, so its sentimental to us. This time we were sat in the bar, the booth seating was comfortable and nice because my husband and I could sit next to each other or across. The service was not as good as in the restaurant portion unfortunately. We never received any pretzel rolls (our fav!) or salads. Food was great as usual. Despite being a little disappointed last visit well still be regular guests, it remains one of our favorite restaurants.
First time Ive been here. Paying over $30 for a streak and potato (fries) is a bit high, its a meal, shouldve been at least a baked potato. Not worth the price. Waiter (Viggo)didnt even offer a topping for the steak, seems like he was rushing to get us out of there, even though it was empty.
Ive been getting the Skirt Steak for years. All of a sudden they stopped selling it. I asked the manager & he said the price of steak is too expensive. That doesnt make any sense at all. Then why sell other steaks ??? If anything then raise the price accordingly to reflect the increases in the wholesale price. I wont be back until the start selling the Skirt Steak again.
Despite sitting outside in a tent with cold air blowing, the food was amazing! We started with the crab cake and the corn bread which was a beautiful start to our meal! I ordered the firebird chicken, my sister ordered the classic burger and my father ordered the beer can chicken. Every thing was fantastic! The burgers came with show string fried, fried to perfection! The firebird chicken had a nice heat in the mouth, but not in the belly. And the white mac and cheese with breadcrumbs was phenomenal!
Ordered the salmon and the special prime rib. Everything was delicious. Salmon was tender and seasoned just right. Prime rib was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. We ordered crab cake for appetizer. $18 for one. I was surprised. Thought there would be two, so we shared. It was good. Lumps of crab meat in it. True Maryland style. Coleslaw was bland tasting. Had the pomegranate Mule. Very tasty. Good service. Friendly waitress. Good prep took awhile, but not too bad. It was busy. I would go again. It was expensive, but probably not bad for Chicago suburbs.
It’s a let down in a few ways, starting with the variety of mixed disappointing of a appetizers, good shrimp cocktails, excellent grazing on ribs and excellent touch smoky flavor brussels sprouts but TERRIBLE onions soup with probably two oz.of salt in the bowl.Below average cocktails which is strong of alcohol. This is a restaurant not a clubs. I should open bottle of wine instead.TERRIBLE steaks but it’s a special kind of terrible - the kind that comes after getting your hopes up, like terrible plate presentation, really good garlic mashed potatoes, steak so tender and juicy but terrible bitter flavors from grill mark. Unexceptional cooking skills.Professional and excellent services, offering to exchange or try to make our dinner satisfied but I taste it already. It’s a trick! Company make a fantastic grill but doesnt mean they know how to cook. This is a shame.
Well this was our first time and i was not really impressed with the service! So we came 1 hour early on our reservation and lady said we still have to wait on the time that we reserved. Ok… then my wife decided to changed it on the website and we were able to change our reservation. I had to go up to the front and told them that we changed our appointment. I dont get it. Why could they not accomodate us when we get there??I have no problems with the Server but the front desk thumbs down!! Never again in this location. Oh also food was too salty. Maybe less salt will do!
We ordered a T-Bone steak, one medium and the other medium well. After waiting for so long for our food, both steak came well done plus not flavor. The service was kind of slow, bad experience especially on this day that we would be celebrating Fathers Day. The manager came to our table and she apologized and offered us new steak but we declined it due to the time that we had waited for the food to come at the beginning, she said she was really sorry for the inconvenience and she canceled our ticket, that was really nice of her. Thank youThe general manager a week later spoke with me and apologized and told me to give them another chance and he told me that he would send me a gift card for the inconvenience of that day, I have a table with my 2 grandchildren, daughter in law and my son and after having this bad experience that day he sent to me a gift card for only 50 dollars, I believe that he forgot that I was not alone, and that his place damages the day of everyone on my table on that day.
The food was great the customer service was awful. We had waitress named Susan and my boyfriend made a reservation for my birthday with special instructions that today is my birthday and that was given to Susan she completely ignored it was so rude and rushed our time there while being completely attentive to other guests. This was our first time at Weber and we will never be coming back after today. My boyfriend had to get up and tell her that there was instructions for my birthday and she said oh I didnt even see them and they were stapled on top of the reservation handed to her. She brought me a brownie with ice cream and a candle to go. Which I found so rude at that point it was pointless my experience was ruined my evening was ruined based solely off her. I honestly was almost in tears because the night was supposed to be special and it was just terrible. She was rude from start to finish could barely get her attention. We are both so disappointed and will not recommend Weber Grill to anyone or bring anyone else there after tonight. If you cant read simple reservation requests what else dont you read that comes in?
Great service good atmosphere.. now the reason I only gave 3 stars…The bone in rib-eye was over cooked my baked potato was cold the wife’s salmon was cold and a lil raw in some spots the kids tenders were good n hot as the kids described it . I will be honest for the $200 I spent I wasn’t impressed at all we probably won’t be returning .
Awesome experience. The manager even gave our group of 20 a tour with historical information. The brisket ran out the other night when a few in our group ate there, so they recommended it to the rest of us and told the manager who made sure extra brisket was made. It was awesome, but so were the ribs. I spent $29 for brisket and ribs plus 2 sides of garlic mashed potatoes and coleslaw, but it was worth it. I drank water. The pretzel rolls were soft and came with cheddar and regular butter. Sue was our waitress and was great, even after we asked for separate checks.
Had to wait 30 mins after pick up time to get order and then order was missing items. Seemed a bit overpriced to begin with but when you leave a tip even though you only picked up and didnt dine in and end up waiting and missing items it just doesnt feel worth it at all. I wouldnt go back.
First we had to wait to be seated not due to a line but because the hostess was nowhere to be found. She eventually came back and did seat us in the area we asked for. We sat and waited and waited for our server to stop at our table. Server finally took our order, he was very nice but really distracted and appeared spread too thin. A server spilled some liquid off a plate when we first got there, the guy who did and our server both knew it happened yet no one cleaned it up. Then a bus person dropped a plastic pitcher that had water in it the water splashed up in my daughters face he just laughed and went on. My husband asked for a refill on his coke and after we received our bill he received a diet coke. The steak was over cooked on the outside and under cooked inside. We have gone there before but dont think we will be returning any time soon.
I used to frequent Weber often when they first opened the location in downtown Chicago, but I hadnt been to a Weber Grill in years until today. Popped in for lunch because I was bored of my usual Schaumburg lineup. I was not disappointed. Crab cake sandwich was excellent. My friends burger was also delicious. Adding Weber to the lunch rotation!
Ordered medium steak but received a barely cooked rare one. I dont like to be picky so I ate it anyway. Was going to mention to server but he never asked us how the food was.Our water glasses were not clean. They do not provide pretzel bread anymore unless you buy it as an appetizer. They removed lobster tail from the menu.Cheesecake was not very sweet.I will not be back here for a long time now. Sad as I used to really like this place.
Delicious steak, avoid the toppings. The filet mignon was absolutely delicious, tender, so easily sliced, melted in my mouth. Really cant wait to try it again. The only knock on the meal is that the mushrooms and gorgonzola topping were a bit too salty. In retrospect, I wish I hadnt ordered it.
Food was fantastic and service was just as good. Our waitress did a great job. The smoked wings were so stinking good. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and smoky. All the food we ordered was excellent. Hot links were also good. I got a sampler to try 4 different meats and I was not let down.I want to add that they went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND to accommodate my kids’ food allergies. It’s always sketchy to eat out with food allergies, so we need to be careful. They have a manager sign off on meals labeled with allergies, which is really nice to see. I would definitely come back here. And I want to thank this management and wait staff for doing so well with the food allergies.
This place offered unbelievably tasty and savory steaks. I had the rib eye steak with the curly onions, mushrooms, and garlic mashed potatoes. I would highly recommend that you check out this Steakhouse for its amazing food and service. Our friends and I had an unbelievably fun time at this place. It was a great getaway from our YouTube boot camp.
Ive had my share of eating out, a lot, but never here. It was great. 3 of us, all enjoyed it immensely. From the service, the cheddar compound butter for their pretzel bread, and the sauce for my chops were all awesome. We also got the corn bread appetizer with maple butter. Creative and delicious. If you can make it there I recommend give it a try. We certainly plan to return to try a few more items on the menu.
I had thoughts to take the Mrs out to a nice dinner for valentines day but it did not go as planned. To start off we ordered shrimp scampi as an appetizer and it took close to 40 min just to cook 6 shrimp. To follow that up our waitress who was very nice was in a hurry to not be at out table. When we finished some bread she quickly took the basket without asking if we wanted more. Finally I ordered the 20 oz bone in ribeye cooked medium it was Grey and hard as a hockey puck so I sent it back and the line chef even agreed. The new steak was brought out and was way under and I dont know how but it was burnt black on the outside I tried to eat it but I couldnt. My fiancé ordered the 7 oz filet and it was cooked under as well but didnt want to make anymore of an issue and only ate 2 bites to top it off we were charged for everything that we had with an exception of the steak that I ordered I am very displeased and disappointed with this experience and I would like to have a chance to talk to a manager who can compensate me for such a night
My partner and I came in one evening for a nice dinner to celebrate milestone accomplishments in our lives. We kept our matters private and ordered drinks and apps like any other occasion. After making small talk with a gentleman who came by our table ( presumable the manager on staff) he set the tone high for our experience. He asked if hobby with any Weber products and I replied that I do own the Weber Smokey Mountain and I Love it! We talked briefly and he let us be to enjoy our evening. He later came back towards the end of our evening and presented me with a wonderful Cook book that’s tailored to my Weber product. I just can’t express enough gratitude for the experience we had. Thank you for it all. :)Although, the customer service for the Weber product’s needs improvement.
First of all, I would add more starts if it would allow. In the reviews about weber I read a lot about Don this and Don that. Well let me tell you this, Don offered us everything and more than what we read in the reviews. More importantly the food at weber was stupendous. We will definitely be back next time we are in town. DON NEEDS A RAISE
7/2021 My wife and I went here for lunch for the first time. The pretzel rolls were amazing! Loved the cheese butter with them too. Great addition to any meal. The steak was fantastic. Melt in your mouth and had a great grilled sear and flavor. Pork chops were a bit chewy. Not as good as the steak. Baked potato was great too. Could use a little more salt on the skin though. Prices were not as reasonable as I would have liked. A bit high priced for my taste. Staff was good and friendly.
I came here a few days ago with my family to celebrate a birthday dinner and had a good experience. The food is always great here. Their steaks and ribs are great, and I love the salmon. I also love their garlic mashed potatoes! The service was good too, we really liked our waiter, Jason. I think the ambiance could use a little help. We were seated in a room next to the main room in the middle of two large, boisterous parties. Additionally, the music went off half way through our meal and never came back on so it felt a little weird. Ive been here a few times and enjoy sitting in the main room much better!
This place is awesome. Visited from out of town and finally made it. Its a little more formal inside than I thought it would be, but would be great for special occasions, work parties, etc. Service was fantastic. The burger was perhaps the best burger that Ive ever had. And their beverage selection is quite impressive and delicious. Cant wait to go back!
The best place for all barbecue and steak. Very accommodating for people with severe allergies. A little on the pricey side of restaurants but for the quality, and portion size of the food, it is 100% worth it. The best time to go is around 3-4 and the place is practically empty. Theyll also serve you anything from the lunch and dinner menu if you go during that period while theyre transitioning from lunch to dinner. Make sure to sign up for their Grill Club rewards program and get $20 on your birthday and priority seating with reservations. I highly recommend the BBQ sample platter so you can try a bit of everything and get what you like. All of the meats are very juicy, flavorful, and tender.
Jimmy said my family couldnt eat here due to us not showing our medical history to the restaurant. Stop enforcing these tyrannical policys that arent backed by any science. Covid transmission occurs just as much in vaccinated as unvaccinated.I appreciate your reply. Its time for restaurants and the general public to start standing up for our rights and stop enforcing such ridiculous policies. Once that happens, your review will improve as well as your business.
Amazing restaurant with outstanding baby ribs! My expectations were high for this restaurant to begin with because my friend suggested it to me, I did not realize how low I was judging this restaurant. The ribs are so soft and flavorful, I can tell that they have high quality meat, and their staff are experienced people. I even got two free cookies, and a hand written thanks with my order for completely free!
First time at this restaurant celebrating a family member’s birthday. The food was delicious, the restaurant was inviting, and our server Vanessa was great! She went above and beyond with handling our requests. The manager Dan was also very accommodating as well. Highly recommend this place!
Looking through the menu, there were so many things we would loved to have ordered; sadly we gave the appetizers a miss, but we settled on the meatloaf and the cedar plank salmon for Entrees. Before our food arrived, we got some complimentary pretzel rolls and butter, these were divine! The food was absolutely amazing, and the portions were rather large. We took the left over meatloaf and a pretzel roll home, the next day it was just as delicious. We will absolutely be back the next time we are in the area.
My first experience was Amazing! My waiter Jovan was OUTSTANDING! He was very professional and kind. The food was made to perfection (I highly recommend the steak) and even my kids complicated orders all came out perfect! Would totally recommend and I’m definitely coming back, my kids finished all their food and that almost never happens all staff was very thoughtful and kind. Thank you all for a wonderful experience.
Ordered food from here for my mothers birthday. The original associate who answered was not patient/messed up order and when asking for the price, she put us on hold and then hung up. My mother called back and the ladies attitude was not great. Spoke to manager Dan and he fixed the order and apologized while also explaining the issues their system had. Dan took some off the order for the negative experience and was a pleasure to speak to. He even added some things to the order that we did not order. A model Manager that helped make a bad situation great. Will definitely be back and give them my business.
Weve been waiting 2 years now to try this place and finally got the opportunity last night.Definitely a mecca for backyard grilling enthusiasts and a great place for fathers day. Prices are fairly high, and food was delicious. Cooked on giant actual Weber charcoal grills, of course. You better act fast if you want the brisket though, because it will sell out for the day as we found out.We were seated in the bar area, and thus had the bartender as our server. With that being said, Jeff did an amazing job handling all the patrons in the bar room.Alcohol selection is HUGE. They even have a great single malt scotch selection with a few Islay whiskeys Ive been wanting to try.Overall, Im really glad we chose the Weber restaurant for our date night. It was everything we were expecting and a little more!
My first time but... Dang... Service was terrific and my steak was beyond perfect. Everything about this place is way past wicked awesome 😊!! I totally recommend it to everyone. A little more expensive than other places but so totally worth it! You gotta treat yourself so... Do it! 😀
AMAZING!!! I was so impressed with our entire experience here. The service was great and the food was delicious! Our waiter did an amazing job with how busy the restaurant was! We had the cheesecake to finish and it was the best Ive ever had in my life! We will definitely be returning!
I’m giving this location a one star because I surprised my mom with a vacation to Florida and her flight left out in Chicago( we’re from Milwaukee. I decided to surprise my mom at Weber restaurant for dinner before her flight( i brought along my children and sisters, so about 8 of us total. The server was not nice to us at all and it made us feel uncomfortable, I did express my concerns to the manager because customer service is everything and whether in business or not we should treat everyone kind regardless of race or status in life. After I expressed my concerns , I believe the waiter saw me speaking to the manager and after I returned to my seat, the waiter began to treat us better, we didn’t make him feel uncomfortable and we communicated with him. So after dinner, my family and I began to wrap it because my mom and sisters had to be at the airport, I know the waiter wasn’t expecting to receive much of a tip, or maybe he didn’t give it thought, but I left him a 40 cash tip even tho I wasn’t happy at all with his service. I own several businesses in Milwaukee and I understand hospitality and customer service. Moral of this story is treat people how you would like to be treated and just because I wasn’t treated kind, I didn’t return nasty to him but yet tipped him because I knew he may have needed the money because that’s why we work , so we can pay our bills etc. His attitude did bother me and I would stare at him in disbelief and frown because I was disappointed , before we left we were very cordial and friendly with our server and we all left out with a goodbye and a smile.
My experience here was perfect! Our waitress was was very very pleasant! She was very pretty as well ! But she was very good at her job ! The manager was exceptional as well ! But the food was the BOMB ! DAMN GOOD FOOD ! GREAT PORTIONS AS WELL ! I GIVE THIS ESTABLISHMENT AN A++++ CAUSE OF THEIR CURTIOUS MANNERS AND GREAT SERVICE !
Took my boyfriend here for his birthday. It was both our first time here and we were very impressed. Food was amazing and the place was extremely clean. We were even impressed with the bathrooms(lol). We cant say enough about how awesome our server , Anthony , was. Thank you for making the day special and memorable. We will be back!!
Had a lunch reservation on my birthday, the filet was one of the best Ive ever had. Cooked perfectly, and flavor was amazing. Bacon and blue cheese salad was amazing, and the pretzel rolls, and house butter were addicting. Our waiter Anthony was on his game too, great service, and really cool guy. We will definitely be back.
My husband and I went to Weber Grill for dinner last night to celebrate our anniversary and I was not at all impressed. This was not our first time dining here and have had great service and food in the past. The cornbread appetizer was dry and lacking flavor. I ordered a filet cooked medium rare and it came out cold, raw in the middle, gray outside with no grill lines. The side dishes were cold as well. When I sent it back they simply microwaved my sides and threw the steak back on for a few more minutes. We spent a decent amount on dinner and regret choosing this place for dinner. We will not be a repeat customer. The service was great and our waiter was wonderful but the food was terrible.
Very disappointed in this location primarily due to the service. My wife loved her steak, my brisket was ok, but we had to wait over an hour for our entrees. The waiter never asked if we wanted a second drink or everything thing was good. We felt like we were bothering when we would flag him down. It wasnt even that busy. Wont be going back anytime we soon.
The soup was salty as a salt brick watch out for the french onion soup. You want ribs you can choke on come here. Best part of the horrible experience was our waiter. We ended up walking out of this place because I refuse to pay good money for horrible food.Happy birthday dinner to me.
I hadn’t been to Weber in years and am SO happy we went back! From a host who was sincerely happy to seat us, to a server with a great personality, and through bellies full of delicious food- absolutely a great visit! We ordered a burger, a steak, and pork chops; everyone was thrilled with their order. Thank you for giving us a great experience!
Went there tonight to celebrate my birthday and I think we found a new regular place! Had steaks and brisket, all delicious and cooked properly. Did the Kettle Tour and enjoyed the information the GM gave, and about their classes. Had great customer service as well. Strongly recommend the skillet cookie, super good!Thank you for a great dinner! Next time I think we may ask to sit watching the kitchen, I was stunned thats not a highly requested spot!
Had dinner reservation for my son’s birthday the food was ok but the waitress was very disinterested in serving us. It was our first time in the restaurant she didn’t suggest anything she was in a hurry, she didn’t ask if we want an other drink, she brought a slice of cake for my son put it on the table and left.It was very disappointed moment, I don’t think we will go again. That happened on June 12 our reservation was at 6:00 pm .
The food was excellent. I ordered the Steakhouse Salad medium rare for lunch and it was cooked exactly as I like it, portion size was good. I liked the place so much that I went back again for dinner: had the Spicy Sticky Ribs (great flavour) and Beer Can Chicken. They exceeded expectations.
Oh my Gosh! If you want to feel what the entrance to paradise looks like, you definitely should come here, and try ribs and smoked pork chops and everything else that comes with it. Of course if you decide for full experience you’ll ask for Deborah. Ambiance, Food, Service was at a top level, well done guys, we will definitely come back !
We were greeted on arrival then taken to a table we were served water. we selected sticky ribs for the starter, ordered beer. Then, New York prime steak with baked potato and baby back ribs half slab with baked beans and coleslaw. The steak was cooked medium well and the ribs fell off the bone. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice, the servers were attentive, everything was clean. Well return for another visit,
Went on August 21 for lunch and had a great time. My wife ordered the brisket and I had a hamburger with bacon and cheese.I tried the brisket and it was excellent. I usually am a pork bbq person but the brisket impressed me. My hamburger was wonderful. David the manager took us on a tour and you could see the quality people in the kitchen as well as the commercial Weber grills. Thank you for a good time!
The server was not very good, he waited until we were almost done eating to come back to our table. Our Burgers were not fixed as we ordered. Our drink Glasses were Empty way to long. Slow at getting us our bill.$13 for a dry burger & Bad Service.Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Excellent restaurant with quality food, but the service is what sets it apart. I order the prime rib, which was recommended by the server. Its a popular menu item, and rightfully so. The cut was only available in medium - well, as the more rate cuts had sold out. Unfortunately, I was delivered a well done cut as it was all that was left. Because of it, the server and manager more than made up for it by offering any other dish. It was very generous. The best part was the server Paul. He didnt make me feel like a complainer. He hopped on top of the minor issue and sought to ensure customer satisfaction. It was a great experience by an exceptional professional. Thanks Paul.
To add on to my review- this restaurant has been outstanding during this uncertain time. They are able to provide accommodations and offer a variety of food options. Their grill out packs are AMAZING! Dave always answers the phone and is able to make anything happen!!! Thank you again for great service! :)Best steak house in Schaumburg! My parents come to Weber all the time. The food is hot and always delicious! Although, what truly sets them apart is how well they treat their customers. Management is friendly and always welcoming. Dave goes above and beyond to make sure our food is not only done correctly, but is always kind and willing to make any accommodations necessary to make our meal perfect.Today was no exception. I had lunch here with my parents and our food was outstanding. Our waitress was attentive and kind.In addition to our regular dine in as well as carry out meals here- Gretchen is outstanding when it comes to catering orders. She has catered our Thanksgiving dinner for the past 3 years. Again, the food is outstanding and she is incredibly organized and the food is packaged so that plating it when you arrive home is easy. Having the holidays catered here- has made our holiday more enjoyable knowing that we are going to have an outstanding meal- without worrying about the preparation. Thanks again for a great experience today!
Very fast service. Were standing and waiting for about 2 minutes, and the manager came and apologized for the slow service, then gave us a free appetizer. They made the food very quick and brought it all at the same time. I personally had a steak. I would rate it one of the best steaks I have ever had. The waiter was one of the most polite and helpful servers ever. Over all this restaurant deserves a 5 star rating.
Weber Grill does exactly what the name says, they do an excellent job of grilled foods and at a fair price. They have a gluten-free menu that has a good variety of options, the wait staff takes very good care of you but be warned that if youre in a hurry this may not be the place for you. The service is good but make sure to leave enough time to get to your next destination because it good but not crazy fast. The management is always quick to address any concerns and perhaps most importantly, they do some darn good BBQ and serve it up with pretzel rolls and a cheddar butter that will make you ask for seconds.Very good food at a fair price with great service.
We had reservations set for 8pm and arrived at 7.30. another large group came in after us around 8pm and were seated almost immediately. We were finally seated at 8.30 and were hungry. We sat down and ordered drinks and an appetizer. I will say the sampler appetizer was fantastic. It took almost another hour to see our dinners and they were cold. The one entree was cold straight through. At that point we were kind of just done. They tried to remake or give it to us to go but we were just done. Ordered dessert and it didnt thrill us either. Took one bite and couldnt finish it because it just wasnt good. Finally got our check at left at almost eleven.I just felt the restaurant didnt have their act together and the kitchen was taking forever.
While going to the restaurant they knew it was for a birthday and they didnt even bring a cake until they were cleaning off our table even though it was mentioned 3 times that we were there for a birthday. Also while we were there they told us that they didnt sing Happy Birthday even though we saw them singing Happy Birthday to someone else. It really felt like we werent welcomed at this restaurant because we were black.
We came ALL the way from Ohio because we always wanted to come to this restaurant. When we got inside, I was soooo excited like a little kid and we told the host, that we came from Ohio and he didn’t acknowledged or care to make us feel welcome to Schaumburg. He just took us to the table and that’s it. The food was not bad. Overall the service was horrible. When we left, everyone were standing by the door ON THEIR PHONES, and they never said anything when we walked out. Not even, have a good day! The place was not busy or under staff. So it’s no excuse to not greet your customer with more enthusiasm or respect.
We enjoy hanging out. Last night we found this delicious restaurant which friends told us about. We passed a lovely experience there with great food and an efficient team and a distinguished chef. We put this restaurant in our list and we shall definitely come back soon. We warmly recommend.
I normally dont take the time to do reviews but this place is sooooo worth it! My buddy and I sat at the bar for about an hour first. Bar tenders were very friendly and the old fashioned was excellent! We came for stake but after seeing the BBQ menus we both changed our minds. I got the brisket and ribs combo. Food came out very quick! The brisket was perfect and the ribs were some of the best I have ever had. Not to mention, the pretzel rolls and specialty butter were amazing! Will definitely be back!
I have to say the this restaurant was booming in 2008. We were here almost every other week. The food was always well seasoned, tender, fresh and just delicious. But now, the place has gone down. The food has absolutely no season and majority of the time, the food is cold. Waiter/Waitress are no where to be found. Some of the seating is so tight that you’re literally on top of the other tables. Parking can be hectic because it gets really busy.
The food literally left me speechless! So flavorful and juicy. I have nothing more to say other than WOW!!! Cant wait to go back. I highly recommend this restaurant. AMAZING!!!!Had lunch there today and I have to say that within a year the quality has gone down drastically. My first visit was amazing. Not sure what happened but my fiance and I were very disappointed
This was my second and unfortunately last visit at this location. Second time we got disappointed with their steaks. My family got sick and vomiting all night long. Theres only one reason steak were not fresh or enough handle it properly whatever the case. service is very good but management should be ra train never come to our table and it was party of six. If you go ,go on at your own risk
My husband and I went here for dinner for our anniversary. The food was amazing! We had two incredible servers Sherry & Rosa. We highly recommend coming here! Good food, atmosphere, and service! This place was recommended by a fried. And I will continue recommending it to others!
I celebrated my graduation earlier this evening in this delicious restaurant. I am glad to say that we had a phenomenal evening and the place was unquestionably one of the reasons for this fruitful celebration. The team contributed in a lovely way, the food was extremely good and my buddies were so pleased. We shall no dout come back again for more joyful events. thanks very much.
Food didnt taste fresh. Seems as though it was prepared the previous day and reheated. Ordered rib meal for 2 and an extra slab of ribs. The side dish portions were not for two people. The baked beans were mostly bbq sauce with almost no beans. The garlic potatoes taste like instant. The slaw was warm. The string beans were cooked perfectly. The salad was mostly iceberg lettuce with one small tomato and a few slices of onion. The cookies were tasteless. Eat clean all the time, so when I cheat it needs to count. Im very disappointed as a 1st time customer and dont recommend.
We dined with Mike at the bar and he was great as well as enteraining. The ribs were cooked perfectly and the lobster tail special was also amazing. We were a little disappointed with the shrimp scampi appetizer cause it was too citrus based so thats all you tasted. Managment/Corporate dropped the ball with replacing the nice check holders to dirty pamphlets - it just makes a nice dining experience seem cheap at the end.
This is my first time at Weber grill. I had heard about it for a few years. The service was good, the menu items had a wide selection. I personally felt that for the price the food could have been a little better. that may just have been in relation to my particular order that day, but it was not necessarily a super memorable meal. I would go back and try it again because it wasnt bad either. I just expected a little bit more based on the price and the word of mouth advertising Ive heard.
We love to go out. Yesterday we arrived in this excellent place which friends recommended to us. We had a lovely time there with great food and a professional stuff and a talented cuisine. We put this fine restaurant in our phone list and we will certainly come back very soon. Highly recommended.
Food was pretty good ordered the meatloaf and Chicken BLT. BLT was pretty normal with fresher ingredients which seemed a bit overpriced but the meatloaf was amazing with a very good serving size. Service was amazing and workers are all kind but our order took over an hour (maybe due to covid conditions)
We recently went here for my wife’s birthday, just us and our 2.5 year old. We had been here before years ago an wanted a causal place to get a meal and break away from our usual places. We went on a Wednesday and it was lively but not crowded or loud. The staff was very sweet to my son and he loved the attention. Our expectation is fine casual dining and that’s exactly what we got!I recommend the Weber Backyard Brew, it was perfect on a hot day and I just really enjoyed it.I had the Brisket and it was above average! I didn’t need a for and I really enjoyed the sauce. Mind you, this is not a BBQ joint and there was a lack of a deep smoke taste, but those were not my expectation. If you want that, go to a small shack that serves everything on a cafeteria tray or white Styrofoam. My wife had the Teriyaki Steak and said she enjoyed it and like the portion. Now we both will RAVE about the kids option! My son is really into ribs and loves cleaning the bones. His meal came on a cute all white cafeteria style plate, he had a place for his ribs and generous serving of tater tots, a place for his fresh fruit, a place for his ketchup, and a place for his broccoli. At the end, he got a fresh baked cookie….all for $8.99! We joked we come eat apps and just let him have fun. What a great value for kids!!!!Staff was very attentive and we will certainly be back to this family friendly establishment.
Passed this place so many times so we decided to try it. First thing when you walk in youre hit with the smoky smell of all the grills going very nice to walk into. The wait was shorter than expected for a weekend evening so that was a bonus. The menu was varied and had options for both meat eaters and vegetarians. I had the strip steak and it was perfectly cooked. The staff was friendly and this is definitely a place I would want to try again.
We had a great meal at our first visit to Weber Grill. Our server Aneta was on the ball and very attentive. Our appetizer didn’t come out before our food, before we had a chance to mention it she said something to us. She had the manager Sean come over without us asking. He took it off our bill, offered it to us for free. When we declined he insisted we save room for a skillet cookie on them. Then he came back to make sure we were happy with it. We really appreciated them making sure we were taken care of even without us asking. We will be back again. Thanks for a great experience. BTW the pretzel rolls are amazing 😉.
The burgers at five guys taste better than the burger here, the beef brisket was IS NOT worth what it is cost. I paid $8 for 3 mini ribs that were the only good thing I ate out of the food on my plate (To give you a visual it was about 2” x 2”. The bread was dry. I am never coming here again, when you go to a place like this you expect to eat something delectable but instead all I ended up eating was not worth my money or time.
I give 5 stars to a restaurant when they exceed my expectations and I look forward to returning. I wasnt sure what to expect, but we really enjoyed this restaurant and I am surprised they have not expanded the concept. There is an open kitchen and they have these HUGE Weber grills where they grill most of the food. Two people at our table had one of the nightly specials and claimed it was one of the best meals they have ever enjoyed. I has a simple Caesar salad with Salmon and it was perfectly done. The pretzel rolls are just awesome and the waiter was very attentive. Great job!!
Staff courteous, food is decent but over priced, portions are small, nothing about this restaurant makes it stand out from other steakhouses. Ate there but doubt I would return because its same ole same old at an added $$$. manager: try picking up the pace and think outside the box, come up with something that will make people just have to want...
We made a reservation for 8:15pm on Saturday and we waited an hour to be seated. We finally got our food at 10:09pm.The New York steak was dry and the food was mediocre. The pork chop was thinner than other higher end restaurants, which was a disappointment. The cost is about $40 per person with one beer or soft drink. The servers were nice and they did the best they could. Schaumburg has so many options and I will be going to a different restaurant next time.
We shared a Firestarter Sampler. Ribs are really good, honey Dijon chicken good, grilled shrimp and grilled steak are good.Decent beer selection. Pineapple upside down cake with grilled pineapple, delicious. Tasty pretzel rolls. Corn on the cob is delicious (grilled of course). Roasted garlic mashed potatoes are awesome.BONUS: steamed towels brought to table. Expensive, will try grilled steak or burger next time.
Nice looking place. If they learned to cook a steak it would probably help the experience. Of the 3 steaks ordered at our table the two that were medium rare were flat out rare. The steak that was ordered medium was very well done with no hint of pink. Second time around was medium rare. They might want to attend their own cooking classes.
Met our cousins here for dinner recently and while the food was great, we had a longer wait than normal. Not a deal breaker going forward, but well have to plan ahead next time. Overall, it was worth it. Wait staff was very friendly and helpful. Wish they still had the Wheeling location.
I took my dad here over July 8th weekend for lunch and the service was top notch. The food was savory and delicious I recommend the sampler platter if you want to taste everything because there are a lot of good options. The bar tender was very professional and great service on the Manhattans. They will bring a dessert tray out to you if you want. I suggest the apple pie with chocolate ice cream. I know it is not traditional but it really flows with the whole sequence of how the meal is served. To top it off, we were given a special tour of the back by the restaurant manager. I cant recommend this place enough. Great time to come to beat the crowd is during lunch on the weekends. A+ #iworkforweber but this my review as unbiased as I could make it.
Food was delicious, however when we arrived to pick up our food due to the indoor dining ban, we discovered this restaurant was illegally operating and serving customers indoors (while they had their outdoor tent empty). Big disappointment to see them value profits over lives.
Top notch steak. Sides were amazing. Service was stellar. We started with the shrimp appetizer. The shrimp were not shrimpy and had a good smokey flavor. I got the prime rib which didnt disappoint. It was so tender I could cut it with my fork. The mashed potatoes were amazing as well. I will definitely go back next time I visit Schaumburg.
Highly, highly recommend this restaurant for families (great kids menu), groups, date night or if youre just passing by the big red kettle. The service is A+++ and the food delicious. Almost everything is made on site and you can tell by the taste. John gave us a fabulous tour and history of the Weber grill/restaurant. They make you feel like part of the family! You wont be disappointed! Brisket melts in your mouth its so good and local brewed beer on tap! 👍🏼
First place we ate when arriving in Chicago for our family vacation...the service was excellent! Our server recommended a tour of the restaurant by the manager to learn the history of the company. It was super informative and the manager went above and beyond to explain the inner workings of the establishment. The food was delicious and it will be a stop for us everytime we go to the city.
I am a big fan of weber grill. I find the smell of the restaurant to be so enticing. Their food is very good though maybe a bit more expensive than it ought to be. The ambience, however is fantastic. Ive never noticed it to be particularly loud or feel crowded even when very busy. One of the things that I really like is that the wait staff doesnt hover or check back too often. Its a great place for a semi casual meal
Enrique was a fantastic server. We were seated quickly, our orders were taken in a very timely manner, food came out hot, and he even took the time to explain some of the grilling techniques that were used. All of this with a smile on his face. Very good food as well. We will come back next time we are in the area.

2022-04-23Weber Grill has a great ambiance and menu. Service was very good from Rosa our smiling waitress. The sticky ribs starter was awesome as was my steakhouse bluecheese burger. We were too full for dessert!! Recommend Weber Grill for an enjoyable dinner. Cost was $100 each for 3 of us including a bottle of red wine and a bourbon cocktail each.

2022-04-16Everything was excellent from the service, food, ambiance and libations. The smoked margarita rimmed with Tajin was so Smokey and Sour… I loved it. The talk of the group was that we need the recipe for the pretzel bread because it was SO soft and sweet. I love the ground mustard seeds too. Would have loved to try some of their other appetizers, but will have to next time.

2022-04-17Absolutely delicious!!! Filet was perfect. My husband had meatloaf and ribs and he was so incredibly happy!!! Celebrating our 11 anniversary and we were offered free dessert. We declined (stupid us) because we were stuffed! Thank you for a memorable dinner.

2022-01-24Love this place! Service is always great and the food is yummy. If there is ever an issue with anything (which doesn’t happen often), the managers are happy to fix the problem. Rose served us this time around and was very attentive.I saw a review about the indoor and decor being “dated”. That’s the magic of Weber. This place has been around for so long and it was created by two families holding onto a legacy which I personally think is pretty cool and nostalgic. Sorry they didn’t redo the entire inside of their restaurant for you 🙃.Also this place is kid friendly. My 3 year old loves it and the triangular crayons.I’m glad this restaurant is still standing strong after how long it’s been open. Always a nice time with family when we come here.

2022-06-21Had reservations for a group of 7 for my sons 21 st birthday. Food was excellent as was the service. They allowed us to bring our own cake, and although they were very busy, we were not rushed.

2022-02-25Nice lunch outing with the team, we sat at the bar so we could watch TV. The ladies next to us offered to purchased some appetizers for us, which was very nice, we accepted 😉 there offer! The wait staff behind the bar was awesome and friendly, I ordered the Thai Steak salad which was awesome my only recommendation is to add more greenish spinach to the salad not a fan of the iceberg lettuce with my steak😊, I definitely recommend this restaurant.
