Drove an hour to buy a tire, because they had the cheapest listing. We didnt need it installed, just needed it put on the rim. We get there just for them to close an hour early(6pm) AND begin to refuse orders 20 minutes before 6pm. They were extremely rude and unhelpful.No matter what Walmart you go to, whether you are a customer or an employee, automotive is always the worst department to deal with. This automotive on the other hand is by far the worst.
I bought a ball at walmart today and I was stoped multiple times, I know it’s their job and all, but I feel like one time is enough, they were kinda nice about it but very passive aggressive. But I thought they only check big purchases,anyways I wasn’t too pleased with my experience today
This walmart is horrible i went to this Walmart before with no problem about them checking my ID when i bought alcohol but this day i went to purchase alcohol a different lady checked my ID and didnt even chack my birthdate or anything and automatically told me i couldn’t but it im of age and my ID doesnt expire for a couple more days i just turned 21 this year
That online pick up is pretty slow. currently waiting for about 10 mins. need to teach these guys what fast means.this was my second visit. the first time i bought some vitamins online. went to the parking spot called the number on the sign and no one even answered the phone. i ended up just going into Walmart buying my own vitamins and getting refunded after not picking it up after 4days
Only place Ive ever gotten tires since my first car.. never again, they wont uphold my warranty. Paid all that extra money for lifetime rotation, balance, and flat repair. Better off spending your money at another place. Ive gotten all my tires on every car Ive ever had there since my very first car over 22 years ago. I will never give them my money again. Dirksen tire department at Walmart only takes your money but, doesnt upload their agreement.
I just left this store. Had a long list of groceries but started my shopping in health and beauty. I wanted a $40 electric tooth brush that was behind locked doors. We went to pharmacy and they paged an associate for help. After 10 min I approched anotherassiciate who again paged. After 15 min i talked to a manager who stated with an Attitude do you still want one. We left store.I choose to spend my money where it is appreciated.
I have to say Walmart is my favorite place to shop for discounts. Scan everything thru the app. Make sure you have the correct store chosen in the app. Scan everything. 75 percent of the time items, especially clothing are less than what sticker price says! Happy discount hunting!
Was sent from a nearby store after they said this one had 5 in stock of a laptop I was wanting just to find out they didnt have it but apparently their system said the store I came from had 2. In fact, laptop after laptop was not in stock though scans said they had a few or couple of each. I manage retail in a non-competing company and am just shocked at the inaccuracy of the inventory numbers, especially with higher priced/controlled items like this. This would be an uproar in our store and jobs would probably be lost.
This Walmart is awesome, easily the best in Springfield. I needed several money orders to close on a house, and they were the only place in Springfield that actively tried to help me. I could only purchase so many the first day (debit card purchase limit), but came back the next morning fully expecting to wait until they opened at 8am to get the rest. The super helpful lady working customer service that morning got me squared away by 7:50 and I got to work early. Thank you for making an extremely daunting process a little easier.
I have a service dog i take in to walmart and other places with me in case i fall, this lady said walmart doesnt except animals including service dogs even after i showed her the sign on the door and from google on my phone, i took her picture and wrote this review so people know that walmart employees can do whatever they want and make up there own rules i guess...im done with walmart on dirksen learn to treat people with respect
Price marked wrong on shelf ask them to check it they change the price on shelf and refuse to give me the product at the price it was marked had pictures to show the price on shelf that was completely packed down with the items get caused at by the manager asked to speak to another manger she said i am the manager asked for a higher up or anther manager she says there busy the come back saying wheres your receipt at for the stuff in my cart hadnt even finished paying while she continued to belittle me for asking for the price it was on the shelf what happened to the customers always right or respect spending almost $200 and can get the $2 off some dish soap like really how is she even a manager
When you ask an associate for help, you dont expect to get the reply of I dont know as they walk away. Its like an intrusion on their day. As I walked away the associate must have seen my facial expression and my thumbs up as I said thank you. So to be fair, the associate must have realized saying let me get someone to help you was a much better response. The associate did then make an effort to find someone, with no luck. Everything is taken with a grain of salt these days.
Why do all of the employees at every Walmart have to be so rude? I a always friendly. Literally my children have told me I am too nice. Just one employee to greet you or smile. Anything would be better than the sour looks on all of their faces. Especially the pharmacy. It is the worst.
Understaffed on a Saturday. Maybe 2 humans working the registers. Customer service was closed and it wasnt even 6 oclock yet. Self checkouts on other side of store were down. Out of many products and have been for weeks. Self checkout was a mess with no bags on the holders, had to pick up and open bags and put my groceries in. The whole store just seemed VERY poorly managed.
The door Greeter was amazingly up beat and welcomed everyone. The pharmacy was quick except they should have known my med needed the dr called before they filled it and tried to sell it to me for $108. How many people end up paying that because they dont know?? I happen to have been getting the same drugs since 2011 so I knew. When they text me 4 were ready I thought how is that possible. She said she tried to call me. But... The same phone I received the text on is the same phone she should have called??? Okay so I will be back monday. Pretty much new that. She went on to give me a lecture about getting the drug. I said. I know that. Why didnt you when I handed you my script when turning it in. I know Lejune drive knows when I hand it to them. I tell them then. Okay. Fill the others when this is processed so I can pick them up all at the same time. I say okay. Not send a $108 bill and then say they dont know why that is. I said can you check and see of there is a form from the dr needed. They did oh we can do that on monday. I said okay can we do that then. SMH. A 5 mins drop off ended up taking $40 mins.The pick up was great. The line moved quickly. They were very pleasant. The review was nice. The Pharmacist was very uninformative. I also went to grocery. It was great. Everything well stocked. The stockers that were stocking made sure they were not distributing your shopping view. Cashier was quick and happy. It was a great day at Walmart.
Online states masks required for all. Went in Sunday morning 630 am. Saw many employees - not 1 had on a mask except for the door greeter. 20-30 customers. 1 mask, couple down around necks, rest without, including kids. I don’t care what your policy is but I have the right to expect store to back up what they advertise.
I arrived at the suggested time and notified on app of my arrival. Waited 20 minutes and called the posted number to check on status. Once they answered they came with my items. While waiting, I watched numerous more than 6 workers on the north side of store talking and on their phones. Sitting in carts and playing.. Every so often they would go get a few carts . They need supervision. .
Was not very satisfied with the pick up and delivery app it says on the Walmart site that u can use EBT cash benefits to purchase non eligible food items using your EBT cash benefits to place your pick up order or delivery order but my card keeps being declined and customer care tells me that I can only buy food items with cash benefits
You can never get any help, they are always moving things. When they redid the aisles they made them way too narrow. It was not done with the customer in mind! Sam Walton would roll over in his grave if he saw the way it was ran today. Sams kids are rolling in the money like Scrooge McDuck!
Walmart is moving EVERYTHING around. Not only do their customers not know where merchandise is, neither do their employees.Checkouts are a joke. If something doesnt ring up right it takes forever to get someone to fix it. Self checkouts lanes are ok for under 10 items. Terrible if you have a full cart. 1 If you should by chance get a real checker when she checks you out and puts stuff in the sacks and turns that spindle thing. Twice Ive had to go back because something was in a sack that didnt get put in with my groceries. Rating for Walmart D-/F.
Was in this store the evening of the 26th. The messy product display has become expected, but the associates in this store continue to just get worse by the day. Gathered my items and headed to the self checks. After Id paid for my items there was a malfunction with the machine. First the self check attendant ignored us and walked off to do something else. Wasnt until another associate told him we were still standing that that he came back (and did nothing to help). The individual, an hourly supervisor, that was supposed to help with the malfunction, and get me my change walked right past us talking and flirting with a young cashier. At that point I went to speak to a salaried manager. This was no better, after waiting an additional 10 minutes for him to finally show up to talk to me, he simply talked down to me basically laughing at me for being irritated about the associates refusing to help. Ended up leaving without my change. Associates dont even know who their managers are as the girl at the door didnt know the name of her store manager or market manager. Horrible store, would recommend either of the other two walmarts in Springfield over this one.
Pulled up 3 days ago with the class C motor home and had talked to front manager to insure we could stay for a few day because we door dash in cities that we visit to. She said rvs aren’t a problem and that they don’t mess with them unless it’s been several days. We got towed today from the lot while at work. This is the second Walmart to tow us and I’m just making this post for any other Rv people coming to the area to see the Lincoln sites.
Just had my daughters wedding at the nature center , this place is a little known gem beautiful grounds and building. The people at the park district that oversee it are very accommodating and helpful. Highly suggest it for anyone in search of an outdoor wedding venue!
Winning to get some hip and joint supplement for my dogs and it said you had some in stock but when I got there I was told by the employees that you were out of them and we searched the Shelf it was supposed to be on and theres not even a spot on the shelf for it. Also, it would be nice if youd open up doors on both ends I am handicapped and its hard enough to walk from one end of the store to the other but then to have to turn around and walk all the way back together and just to get out and I also have to go in those doors which means I cannot parked near the doors closest to this spot in the store that I have to go into. Not very handicap friendly.
The walmarts on darkson freedom drive and Allen 6th street are the worst walmarts Ive ever seen that closer service desk at 7 oclock they also dont never stock their stores completely theyre always out of it just about everything the common stuff that I do not have I do not know who manages these walmarts But whoever it is is their district manager needs to be fired to be fired because these walmarts are ran real poorly its pretty bad when you could go to champagne Decatur Decatur Taylorville or Jacksonville and get everything you need at 1 store not in Springfield because theyre sad walmarts
For the first time in a long time Walmart did not look as if it had been drug through the mud. The shelves were pretty much stocked not like they were pre covid but much better than they have looked in the last few months. The aisles were clean, there were enough employees for a change, most things were neat and shelved and well-stocked. I hope it continues that way, rather than looking like a war zone.
Its almost always busy, but thats common, as its a grocery store. Some of the employees are friendly, but the majority of them seem to be more annoyed with their jobs than grateful. Its incredibly frustrating that its almost impossible to find a register that has a real person to communicate with; all self-check out now.
The absolute rudest employees at any retail establishment I have ever been to. Very few employees have been taught manners or courtesy. 99% of the time I am angry when I walk out... if it wasnt for the convenience Id would go elsewhere... I wish I had a meijer or something else closer
For myself I only went for two things and they didnt have either 7 pack of lighters or pibb Xtra. Otherwise shopping for a neighbor everything was there to get. Wow I started wearing my mask again 2 weeks ago and nobody is wearing their masks. Its scary because I listen to the covid updates everyday and sangamon county, I dont think people are paying attention to the numbers.
Horrible. Of course I had to hunt out in the parking lot for a cart. Had a bulky item taken up to service desk for when I was ready to check out. Proceeded to ask 3 different workers if someone could help me out the store with it which was on one of their dollys. No one came to help so I was forced to push the shopping cart and the large item across the lot to my car.
Was short on cash for my items. Thought I brought more cash, didnt realize how low on funds i was. The cashier at self checkout was very tired, so i place no blame. Made my checkout very uncomfortable and embarrassing. Again, no blame placed, except on me, but I wish she could at the very least shown a tiny bit of compassion.
This has to be the very best Walmart Ive been inn hands down! I travel so I am in numerous Walmarts!! I wish I could have got that managers name I surely would recognize him publicly. I was looking for a hair product for my women and first time ever and it was a manager can I help you he not only looked but had staff help as well. Very appreciative ty
The selection at this location is less than what I see at other stores but aside from that its whats to be expected of Walmart. Much and more can be said for great customer service. The young lady Amco in the deli was outstanding. She was very accommodating and took her time w my order. The cheese was fresh and her station was clean and orderly.
Not that great of women clothes selections. Other departments that includes womens,mens, & childrens had empty spaces liked if their supposed to be more merchandise in those areas.Cashiers are not friendly at all. I seen alot of customers & employees that dont wear their mask due to Covid. That was really strange to me first town visitin.g Illiona Springfield came from Broward County / Ft.Lauderdale Fla. And its mandatory for us to wear mask @ all times
Entire I had to buy on my way home paid $ 82 or a tire how to get home to Arizona and have hit a curb and blew the tire out so wasted $82 cuz I did not buy the insurance and plus they wont cover cover it because they wouldnt even if I had insurance they wouldnt have covered it because it was a side wall they hit the curb
There can be a wait to get in the store, if you dont have a mask, they will refuse you entry. Some places offer a simple throw away mask as a courtesy to the customer to encourage business but Walmart doesnt offer the masks. Turning people away instead of working with them during this pandemic is not got business practice nor does it give a very good impression of the company. Also their produce is limited and some isnt very good quality. I was very shocked and disappointed.
I am giving 1⭐ on the simplicity of calling this store to ask a simple question. And after waiting and giving up AFTER 12 MINUTES of someone NOT ANSWERING the phone. Personally I think it is bad for business when it is during normal business hours. (I was calling them 7:30pm when this happened)
The Walmart on Dirksen parkway. Most of the employees arent wearing masks like theyre supposed to or not at all and they take shopping carts and block items so we cant see them. It makes things more difficult as a customer. I asked for help since they have moved items around and no one that worked there could help me. So they are poorly trained. It took my wife to go up and down looking for what I needed to get anything accomplished. No one was willing to help. They were very confussed. As my family was shopping we came across several sticky messes and we had to take our shoes off to move. I thought it was cleaned every day. I guess no one is in charge of cleaning the floors. My family and I wouldnt be going back to that store. We where very dissatisfied.
Springfield, IL has a mask mandate in all public places. People walking around not wearing a mask, down under their nose or completely under their chin. I will not be back to this place. Even the workers have it down under their noses. Told the manager Jeremy about this and nothing was done. I hope they get a big fine for this.
Since this pandemic started I have been using curbside pickup for a variety of things. The team of people who load my groceries and/other item are courteous and efficient. Plus I get to choose the time I need to pick up my orders. I strongly recommend their curbside services.
If it wasnt because of the pharmacy people and Woodforest Bank I probably wouldnt even shop at Walmart but Greg and pharmacy great service Eric and Woodforest Bank great service. The rest of the crew at Walmart I think theyre inconsiderate a lot of your employees really dont want to help customers out. I have a lot more to say but hey today is Sunday its rest day
Terrible customer service went totally out of my way to return something that I was told to return at the store, by an online rep. Was given a return label and told I must box and Mail myself the email I received specifically said that Walmart would box and ship for me in-store. Now Im not going to get my refund because I literally had one day left. Thanks for nothing
I got home 5 hours ago and realized I was missing some of my order. I have been trying to call them all this time and someone picks up and hangs up. Now Im going to have to drive back there in the rain to see if I can get what I have already paid for. And there were many people walking around without masks....in Springfield Illinois I thought the store was suppose to make it mandatory!!!!!! I am so disappointed
When you say Walmart you have a preconceived notion of what to expect. This Walmart is clean friendly well-stocked could produce and great groceries. Bathrooms are always clean and the management very conscientious. Its far enough off the highway there are rarely trucks in the parking lot. And it is well placed so its easy to get into. In short its a great place to shop.The deli is now closed and other departments are gone this store is in recline. I choose to shop at the 6th street store they have more of what I need.Dont forget to click lik if the review helps
Trying to find customer service and an associate to help me was very poor. I had to walk from one end of the store to the other to find someone to help me. Wen I dod find an associate, they would not even show me where the item i was looking for was located. The restrooms were disgusting and toilets were not flushed or clean. This is the worst Walmart I have ever been to in my life.
My grand daughter was shopping for clothes and the sales clerk over the dressing room went to get her some more to try on. My grand daughter in between sizes and the clerk knew of a size that might fit. We were glad she showed us that Walmart now carries 18 in girls size cause the womens were too big. She went out if her way to help us so we found all that we needed and the right size. This was excellent customer service.
The store is such a mess you cant find anything and you cant NEVER find an employee to help. I looked up and down isle looking for something never found it. Cant find prices on thing. Your stores are going down hill. If I have to check myself out I want a discount or paycheck.
Shelves are over half empty now days, shelves are in moderate to severe disarray, getting in-store service proves to be difficult most of the time. **I would rate the Pick-up department 5-stars if I could, though. They have always been fast, courteous, kind and orders are accurate. Kuddos to the Pick-up department at this location!**
Ever since the enforcement of the masks. Walmart fails at the double standards. Some staff at the dirksen Walmart needs a new job or attitude adjustment. Yell at you at front door about masks, but still lets ppl in without one. Some staff not wearing either or properly. I love how we see all the ppl.of Walmart pics allowed but yet they dont follow their own rules nor enforce them enough. Its still a good department store for needs.
Couldnt find the product that the app said was in stock and the associate that I asked for help was pretty worthless. She barely tried to find where it might be and basically used the excuse that the store was being remodeled and was a mess. Ill give it two stars because she was friendly even though she wasnt very competent.
Its a Walmart... What else can I say? They card a 72 year old and say it is the law, which it isnt. It is walmart policy since they cant trust their employees. Sad, pathetic, and agrivating. Careful on curbside pickup. 4 times in a row I was missing items. Yeah. I know. But I was undergoing chemo and didnt have much of a choice.
Not super thrilled with the experience I just had at this Walmart. I have shopped here several times without issue. Tonight we spent like 40 minutes shopping around the store, picking things out and then went to purchase them. When we went through the checkout, suddenly the cashier kept asking me for the 3 digit code on the back of my card. First of all my card doesnt have a 3 digit code, it has a 4 digit code on the front. Ive NEVER had to enter it when I make a purchase. I had even made a purchase earlier at that exact Walmart without issue. While we were still trying to figure out exactly what we were going to do, the cashier was trying to rip the bags out of my boyfriends hands. Then she kept saying Youll have to call and figure out the 3 digit code.. The only 2 registers open were locked up and both cashiers were waiting for a manager, but one never came up. We decided to just leave and go to the other Walmart tomorrow. It was just a ridiculous experience.
On Wednesday a large order of 200 pieces of fried chicken was placed for Band of Brothers MC by my mother and myself ..This order was paid for on Friday by our treasurer and was confirmed that it would be ready by 4pm on Saturday...But on Saturday at 2:45 pm I recieve a phone call from im guessing the deli manager telling me that they do not have 200 pieces of chicken to fulfill the large order and that I may want to call there 6th street location in spfld ill to see if they can make the order ..I was floored because as I stated the order was placed on Wednesday ..why wouldnt your deli manager take more pride in her job and customer service to call the other store her self or atleast let us know before we paid 140 plus tax for the order ...Well I called the 6th street location and what a surprise no awnser at deli and or customer service .So as a mc whom was preparing for a meeting with all its chapters to discuss this years rides and our charity events that we put on for veterens and Mia and kia and any active veterens I was able to get county market to fry 250 pieces of fried chicken on the short notice ..So not only did walmart loose our business but they lost our respect ....
They are making attempts to combat the pandemic. However they were out of the cleaning wipes at the front gate and there were many used and dirty ones laying around on the floor. The directional shopping would be more effective if the clientele understood how it worked.
I dont shop here often. Went in looking for mens undershirts. Not sure it was the best price, they removed the app that gave you the best price. The area was in total disarray, like yesterday when I went looking for the same thing but picked up the wrong size. As always their returns are easy, just not enough staff. Spend more time checking myself out than I should have too. They need to put more people on the floor.
This Walmart is okay, its always super packed and slim pickings when it comes to certain items. We prefer to travel out farther for more variety, not a bad place to get what you need if you are in a pinch. On another note avoid this Walmart for car services, I can not express that enough.
My phone died while in the store. My moms grocery list was on my phone. I remembered most of the list but was sure I was missing a few items. I asked Megan (store employee) if I could send a message to my sister asking for the list again. She kindly let me send and receive a message with the list. I had forgotten 4 items. She even offered a pen to write them down. She went above and beyond for me. Thank you Megan!!!
This is kind of our home away from home....we know some of the employees like Max, Pam and Wendy! They are all amazing people and always more than willing to help us with anything. Im happy to recommend this walmart to people. Im not so happy with the rearranging of the store that happened recently, I liked it just the way it was. But that is ok, Ill eventually figure out where things are again and it will be just as comfortable as before....like a second home.
Store is well organized and managing COVID guidelines well.I can not say the same for customers. I shopped store twice over several day and each time found at least 10 peoplw who were not willing to abide by directional guidelines. This caused congestion in aisles amd frustrated those of us who were following guidelines.
Not to happy. Once again Walmart discriminates against larger women. I went to buy shorts today. I would have bought 6 or 7 pairs. But once again NOTHING in the larger sizes. I went to 2 Walmarts. Well Target and Meijers here I come. Walmart is about to lose my business.
The only reason I’m giving it 2 is because of the workers there making it’s great, when I was 37 weeks pregnant we went and bought curtains and upon getting home and putting them to see if we liked them and if they fit we found a LIVE bedbug and I called customer service and the manager offered me a refund and was very cold and laughed at my situation. Thank good I wasn’t infested with them! Hopefully with the remodel they can get rid of them all but we will see. Again I love the immediate workers and they are the only reason I still go! And if I MUST get clothes I wash and dry them as SOON as I get home. I do urge you to beware!
Good selection as with all walmarts and staff was very helpful and engaged with customers (which in my previous experiences does not seem customary for a Walmart llocations that was unexpected). However, It was 1am when I visited and they did not have a single register open other than the self checkouts. I was told it was because the employee was on lunch. I would expect them to at least have a backup. So I had to spend 20 minutes self scanning a cart full of food myself (and we all know how GREAT the scanners on). So that is the reason for my 3 stars.
Stereotypical Walmart. Long checkout lines unless you’re using self check out. Store is usually clean and staff is friendly enough. Not that anyone goes out of the way to help but they will if you ask. We bought a In-dash DVD player for the car and when we got home and opened the box, it was an entirely different deck that was old and used. We took it back and the customer service clerk acted like we were frauds. She asked for another one from the automotive dept and when she opened that one, it was the same thing. Old and used. She told us if she hadn’t seen it happen herself for a second time, she wouldn’t have given us our money back. Keep in mind, this is a $200 deck. We try to steer clear of this Walmart but it is the only big box store on the North End of town so there are times we come and it’s always the same.
I had the best experience at this Walmart today. I am pregnant, due in 4 days. I needed to pick up some last minute essentials and when I went to self check out, one of the workers approached me, noticing that Im quite pregnant, and insisted on picking up the items and scanning them for me. She was so sweet. Then she radioed to have someone help me out to my car. A very respectful young man helped me out to my car and loaded it up. It was so sweet and really made my day. Thank you!!
We had a lovely shopping experience at Walmart. Tim O was so kind to go with me to the coffee pot aisle and find exactly what I was looking for tucked back behind something else.Another lady got a ladder to get product off the top shelf and Penny checked us out. Lovely shopping.
My husband and I shopped for vegetable plants in the garden center. The cashier had a mask pushed under her chin. There was no shield to stand behind to check out. When it was our turn to check out I asked her to put her mask on. She responded that she didnt feel the need. I told her that my husband and I have health issues and she needed to put her mask on.
I have only been at this location a couple times but I will have to say that both times were a bit scary. Too much tension outside, yelling, cars running by the front of the store. It kind of distracts from any type of good service inside the Walmart. My last visit included a group of individuals at the front of the outside of the store selling something. They were yelling at people going past the entrance in their cars. People were yelling from one end of the parking lot to the cars driving way too fast past the front door. I would return only if I had to get something vital to my existence. Someone really needs to stop the nonsense. It has to hurt the business.
Store is usually a little messy, staff arent the most helpful, and the checkouts are usually full; the best part is how the store is laid out, easy to get around and find what you need!I recently picked something up site to store, it was a little confusing, they were unclear in the online directions on where I was supposed to go. Also the bag was ripped and the item was slightly scuffed. They need to work on their site to store. I ordered site to store so that it wouldnt be damaged!
Starting to check receipts and look through your cart after your purchase. Listen Walmart and listen closely. Once the purchase is made, I own the product. I let it happen today because it was Fathers Day and the wife was with me but it will not happen again. You have no right whatsoever to search MY goods unless you suspect me of shoplifting. You can however, hold me until the police arrive and sort it out. Then you will be sued for false imprisonment. There is this document called the US Constitution. All the boys and men in this place should be completely ashamed of themselves. I deliver here at least once a week, and one woman named Mindy, out works every single one of them. Watch out people, one day she will get sick of doing it all by herself and find better working conditions. Give her a raise and a promotion.
I was late and the clerk had no problem telling me so. He was polite after I told him we could just cancel the whole thing if my lateness was a problem. I then had to go into the store and found about 50% of the clerks I had occasion to speak to either rude and/or argumentative. Completely unacceptable!
Walmart has any to everything which is great! But i tend to order more online because the store is always packed with people and not enough cashiers. Ive even been using self check out lately, which is nice when im in a hurry but that is even packed sometimes as well.
My primary Walmart store. It can be stressful when its busy but it has everything you need in one location. It is safe and clean and the customer service is good. I use the pharmacy in this store monthly for the past 3 years and they are consistently helpful and polite. They always have the medicines I take.
The people at this Walmart are the worst especially the pharmacy. They are extremely rude. When I spoke with the manager she completely ignored me I spoke with the pharmacist and she would not acknowledge what they did wrong. If I could I would have gave them less than one star.Update: Wal-Mart tire center is most definitely cheap. Great deals and horrible service as per usual. The lady at the check out counter asked me 4 times what tires I was changing.Then I go shopping and come back to find out 2 cars that came in after us were taken care of first and our car hadnt even been started. So.... finally its our cars turn to have all of two tires done. Apparently the manager felt the need to go out and chit chat and giggle and hold up the process of my car being done. It was still better than Discout Tires I paid $50 more for some generic tires that lasted 2 years only. So Wal-Mart costumer service is bad and prices are good is the bottom line.
Walmart is now a staple in America. Things are so reasonably priced that one cant help but go there. They have carts for people who have a disability or for whatever reason have a hard time getting through the store. They have carts that have child carriers built in so that you can keep your kids buckled in. That way they dont go running through the isles like maniacs, like mine do. From groceries to clothes to toys to car care, Walmart literally has it all. If youre hungry, they have a cold and a hot deli. And a lot of stores have either Subway or McDonalds attached on the inside. They have redbox machines right inside the door and crane machines so that youre little angel can throw a fit when you spend $10 and win nothing. When you leave, they often have a gas station on the same property. You can go there to get gas, always competitively priced, chips, soda, and whatever else you forgot and now have to pay gas station prices for. Theres a Walmart in nearly every town in the United States. Oh if you cant find what you want in store, just go online and theyll ship it to you straight from Zimbabwe. Walmart has won the hearts, or wallets, of people across the globe!

2022-03-17Great place, I wish they was 24hrs a day and wish Springfield had public transportation like Chicago does. I love the variety of items like the toys and arts and crafts. If one opens up closer to me that would be a blessing. Once I learn more about this city I will continue to be a dedicated customer!

2022-06-13I just stopped by Walmart for an oil change. The person behind the counter told me there were two people ahead of me so it would be a two hour wait. Ok fine, so I went to the outdoor department to buy several plants/flowers plus I picked up a small grill and charcoal. Was going to spend $200. at least.Waited at an open cash register for 20 minutes calling out for help. There was no one in sight so I left.I keep trying to find reasons that Walmart is a good place but its just not happening.

2022-05-18Most worthless Walmart i have ever had to shop at! ALWAYS running out of everything, even the less purchased items! Barely anyone working in the departments! Checkout isles never have enough open. Usually only 1 to 3 isles open when people are lined up past the main isle! The employees, what few there are, are always nice, but you can tell they arent happy either.

2022-04-30It was totally rad dude like you could like go in the store and like buy stuff man....Im mean like who does this stuff anymore.... I couldnt believe it they like had this old dude man with a blue vest on he was the best guy ever he like said hi and stuff when I walked in and was very knowledgeable.... I mean like it was like I wasnt even pushing the shopping cart no more he even knew my feet were sore and highly highly recommended the lil hooter scooter..... I couldnt thank him eneuph its a 4 stars for Melvin and that Super Store center the front was really cool to man they had all the bases covered like restrooms and subway it was like a roller coaster👍😀Im almost positive I will go back there one day👍👍👍

2022-04-12Hi my name is Stacy and I actually want to report one of your co-workers named Cheyenne and I noticed shes been very rude towards me and I also noticed she was harassing the other coworkers and she basically wasnt really doing anything besides harassing other people and I realize shes an online shopper. I dont appreciate seeing a girl like her harassing her co-workers and talking hateful towards other people even our own coworkers. I wish you guys do something about that because that is very disrespectful and I know its probably against Walmarts policy. Thank you so much and I hope you guys actually deal with her

2022-05-03I really hate this location. Shelves are always empty, but its closer to me. Today I got racially profiled, along with a another group of black girls. The lady stood right in front of me and watched me. She did the same with thm. But didnt care to look at the white women in line. I cant believe we still doing this in 2022!

2022-04-12Hello my name is Sam Mills and I actually just visited your store and I really did love it you guys did a great setup all that. But the problem is you have an online Shopper that was very rude to your co-workers and to some of your customers. She was very hateful towards a co-workers and it look like she wasnt really doing her job she was mostly talking and I noticed she made a really rude comment to a customer and I really dont appreciate Cheyenne doing that and I wish you guys would actually talk to her and deal with it or Imma have to go to corporate because that is definitely against Walmarts policy. Thank you so much once again I love your guyss store you guys had an amazing set up and everybody else was very helpful.

2022-04-08I had to give a one star only because the reviewing system will not register a zero star rating. I have been disappointed many times with this Walmart in particular mainly it is the most convenient location for me. I not only shop, but utilize the money center. A very nice area was added in the past recently which is never in service. This forces the customer service area over flown with customers often understaffed. To add to the frustration you may wait as long as 25 minutes only to be turned away by the clerk claiming the system is down.They have even said the system was down nation wide. This was false. I would only believe this is normal operations that has given Walmart a bad reputation, but I have been to Beardstown, Lincoln, and Taylorville stores in Illinois and the service is night and day. I really feel sorry for the handful of reputable employees for I can only speculate this could only be a management crisis. I dont see how this store is at the least breaking even as apart of a corporate business. I will do everything I can to avoid spending my hard earned money at this store. I hope someone in the higher administration department read and take these reviews seriosly.

2022-06-03This is the only Walmart in the Springfield area that allows overnight parking for travellers (a courtesy widely known and extended by Walmarts across the US). Ive been moving cross-country and have stopped to rest in Walmarts in 4 other states and spent hundreds of dollars in the stores on food and supplies. Apparently, the other two stores in the Springfield area do not want my money and will not be getting any.
