I was treated absolutely horrible and humiliated in front of a crowd. We were stopped 3 times , by a cashier, the greeter, and an undercover loss prevention associate. The greeter also called over a private security officer on me. All me and my wife did was use store pickup for a vacuum cleaner and we were relentlessly harassed because we had no receipt. We had an order on our phone AND a store pickup sticker on the box. We looked suspicious to them because we picked up a few bags of groceries afterwards and used self checkout. I have no idea why nobody could fathom that the sticker plus my order confirmation is proof or purchase. I called and left a complaint as well as opened a case with the Walmart ethics department. Still no call back or resolution and I expect Walmart to make this right for detaining us.
This Walmart store needs a total overhaul!! It has to be one of the worse places to shop at in town. Understaffed, poor management, always filthy, a million carts scattered all across the parking lot, and rude employees is what you can expect at this location. They care more about fulfilling their online orders than trying to give the customers a better shopping experience. I have nothing good to say about this place and will probably end up shopping somewhere else if things dont change. Get it together Walmart!
Can get almost anything here . Employees are okay some being good others being well not nice. Atmosphere is split. Some in a hurry with a mission and others take their time to look at everything. Public restrooms and wheelchair accessible . Can get medication and over the counter meds at this location too. Here are some pictures of me and some items they sell . Went to pick up a small can of butane. Ended up dedicating more than a half hour just trying to find an employee to help me find it 🙃There was no one to be found. What would have been a quick 5 minute trip turned into a frustrating 45 min trip. I only got help after loudly announcing that I (the last customer in the store) wouldve been in and out in 5 minutes long before store close if someone would just direct me to where I need to go to find what Im looking for.I hope to never go back. I HATE walmart
Well, they keep A wide selection of items as we do know. But i was there on 3 Different visits ¬iced there was a Difference In Price on items i was purchasing, from what the shelf price stated, &what the register charged. 🤔 I did take pictures of the shelf price &presented it to the employees who changed it for me. 👏
This Walmart has everything extremely unorganized and had related items extremely far from each other. We were looking for a item and we wanted to find an accessory to it and we had to travel across the whole store. I would not recommend this Walmart and I would recommend a different Walmart nearby if you can find one.
Agitated with my experience would be an understatement, but Im not rude so thats the word I choose to describe todays visit. I do my shopping head to the self checkout and scan all items, pay, and head towards the door. Of course the greeter/ receipt checker has to make sure the milk i didnt bag is on the receipt. He catches that I accidentally rang up an extra gallon. I go to the check out lady and ask her if she can void the extra gallon. Of course she tells me she cant and I have to go to customer service to get it taken care of. I glance in that direction and the line is abt 20 deep, and I have no patience for that wait seeing as I am hungry asl and its 730pm. So, I decide its best to just eat the extra 2.68$ and head to my car. I put my bags in the car and head home- only to find out i mustve forgot an entire bag on the bagging scale.I get back in my car and head back to the store only to ask the self checkout person and find out its not there. They again send me to customer service in which there are 2 people at the counter. I explain my situation and that I literally just left there approx 15 mins ago. They have to then call 2 other managers and tell my story- to tell me that theres really nothing they can do and that its my liability to use self-checkout. So 30$ in items cost me 60$. I had my husbands birthday gift and card in that bag.This preturbs me so much since you know I have personally seen people gather anything from Walmart and take it back without a receipt or tags and they will issue a gift card, no questions asked, but my items were swiped by the next person in line and I get zero help.I have been a regular customer, shopping there at least twive a week and 7 yr pharmacy customer as well.. Im now going to change my pharmacy and take my business to Target.
I placed an order on march 7th and have called/ gone to this walmart everyday since then trying to talk to ANYBODY about the $120 worth of items missing from my order, its been five days now and i cannot believe this is how they get down! I dont even want a refund! I just want my stuff! totally unprofessional. If I could give ZERO stars, I would.
Dont ever go here for T-Mobile phones....the kid at the phone counter told me it was prepaid when it was actually post paid....I returned it and T-Mobile sent me a bill for the full month and will not remove it...buyer BEWARE....the sales kid makes 30$ commission off every sale....he will lie to you to get his commission. Crooked sales people way to go Walmart 👏 lost a consumer. I will never buy a product from you in store or online or from any company you subcontract for. Period.
Its about the same as most Walmarts you will go to. Very busy (I was there on a Saturday afternoon), shelves are crammed, and to find something I searched online for this Walmart so I could find what aisle it was on (it wasnt readily apparent). I used the self-check, but they monitoring cashier thanked me as I was done.
Hi everyone! Back to my favorite return line. Oh, that super long line was as I finished up with my return!! Whew!! Cant wait to see the lines after Christmas.Sometimes out of stuff. And here is the typical line for returns. Same when I arrived as when I left. But good they have one person staffing it. Ill start posting return line every time I go.
Just a plane Jane store with anything you could think of. From food, liquor, toilet paper and pet supplies Walmart has it all. We went for some early Christmas shopping. Typically fully stocked. Always a line to check out unless you do self check out. Store is a bit overwhelming sometimes. Im in and out in 30 minutes usually.
Can ten employees do the work of a hundred? Come on in and find out! Its not that Walmart only has ten employees, its just that almost all of them are also shopping to fulfill online shopping orders. You will get the lowest price anywhere, and you will also never know what that price is until you take it to the register, because nothing is marked properly. You will check yourself out, because all the registers are closed. Like, literally zero cashiers.
Normally I wouldnt say things like this about someone about this store has gone extremely down hill. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I cant even get a hold of my local store to check on an order that they have been neglecting to take off their truck! It has been at the store processing for almost a week!! No one will answer the phone. The chat is worthless and I cant even get a hold of anyone at customer care. Keep it up walmart youre going to lose another customer!!!

Target is way better.They have wayore link approved items that arent always solid food..This place is only good for one day items.. cause it will not last longer than that no matter what price range from walmart.Garbage quality.. rude service..And super scheming on their own employeesBe careful.. you might also get shot.
I called to this Walmart location to speak to th sporting goods dept to see if they had swimming caps. The receptionist answered the phone but when she transferred me to sporting goods no one answered so of course the call is routed back to the receptionist who could not help me. After being on the phone for 15 minutes I did not get an answer to my question ⁉. Where is an good employee when you need them???
There used to be alot of stuff till the pandemic. Now its hard to find what I need. Also I for the most part dont like self check out. Its fine if you only have a couple things. But if you have a cart full it takes forever. I liked when they had a lot of actual cashiers. Their lines to check out are always crazy long. I also wish they would go back to being 24 hrs. They are closed when I get off work most of the time. Im not a morning person thats going to get up hrs before work to go there. Also trying to order groceries on the website is kinda a pain. I liked the old way better.
This Walmart is dirty. Ive never been there when it wasnt somewhat filithy. Also, the employees are constantly in the customers way taking up and blocking entire aisles either restocking during busy store hours or putting together online orders with no regard for the customers who are actually there shopping, their experience, or their time. While going to any Walmart is usually a bad experience; this Walmart due to poor customer service, apathetic employees, bad management, and a dirty overall esthetic is especially terrible.
Only problem I have is they only have handicapped electric scooters available on occasion...you sit and wait for 20 mins to half hour then if I dont get one I have to leave....wish they would fix the broken ones too....they need to get like 10 or more ...5 on each end....where you come in....I cannot walk so I have to have one....the other day I waited a long time and never got one. So I left...please get some more....not just a very few....like the 5 or so you have now and one or two is either not charged or broken... theres people who cannot walk like me .. and we cant even shop there most of the time.
Most of their fruits and vegetables are in a miserable state and even if they are almost rotten they still leave them on trying to sell them and the reason why I am saying is because I went shopping 3 times in 3 weeks and I couldnt find decent vegetables plus the prices are way to high for rotten food, dont shop here if you want to eat healthy
Typical Walmart. These days you never know what will be in stock. Got solicited for money at cart return area just inside doors. Been approached in parking lot for various begging and selling of items over the years. Ordered online and got my order cancelled due to delivery issues. When they do deliver you never know when or how it might show up. Pickup used to be pretty good but the app is a hot mess now and very difficult to use. Now I go out of my way to shop elsewhere most of the time.
I love this store and 99.9 % of the employees. There is only one ,one that omg I wont miss. Yet this store is always clean, clean bathrooms. Employees are always pleasant I enjoy the service. I dont really like self check out yet there is always someone there ready to help.
Went to buy socks today, it is now under lock and key. You feel like you are in a low class store than has theft problems and you are treated as such as a customer. The store was disorganized and messy. I will not be back. Walmart has really hit rock bottom. They need to remake their image and learn how to treat their customers. Target 🎯 will be getting my business.
Employees are not well trained. I asked why my coupons didnt work while at self checkout and was told, They didnt train me on coupons.I asked a question while in the photo department and was told, Im just filling in. I dont know anything about it, but to pull photos and put them in the envelope.Good thing the prices are reasonable.
Walmart seems to be more focused on less employees and more machines. I work all day, and I like to stop there on my way home from work and pick up what I need, but I hate checking myself out after working all day myself. They need to have more registers open. Im not checking myself out anywhere!! I have a job already. Hire more cashiers for goodness sakes!! Damn!!
I normally never post reviews this may be my third in my entire life ...but usually when I do theres very good reason. I was in the East State Street and Walton store this afternoon and I was dumbfounded at what I saw. Now in all fairness.. nobody wants to work right now because they are making more on unemployment staying home ..so some of what I seen could be due to lack of help. But in the days of covid and everyone preaching about neat and clean environments this was a shock. This looked like a bomb had gone off in the store... Sadly it was more in the grocery department but other areas of the store were very unorganized and unkept...The shelves were completely in disarray boxes all over the floor empty shelves and was just a complete and total mess... I could not believe my eyes. When Meyer opened up on perryville several years ago I started to go there and almost felt bad because I was a loyal Walmart customer for many many years but today I no longer feel bad about going elsewhere. The security in the parking lot is only half their problem the inside of that store just left me speechless I will never be going back there for anything. If it truly is due to people being on unemployment and them being short-handed I will sell my apologize for my review but there was no effort being made at all in that store to even remotely straighten It up and there were quite a few employees around so I have a hard time believing thats the case could.. be poor management I guess ...nonetheless the place was trashed.. I just simply will not go back there and I would not recommend it to anyone. If I could give this zero Stars I would do so.
Store was dirty...employees block aisles with merchandise and have no common sense to move for customers to shop. I was nearly ran over by two different order pickers. Not a good selection of grocery items. There were only 3 heads of lettuce in produce..ALL ROTTEN....bagged salad mixes were bad as well. Checkout went surprisingly well, pleasant cashier and fast for what I did pick up, which wasnt much being I couldnt shop the mens socks which are locked up and good luck finding someone to help with that. Needless to say I wont be back....Target got the sales from me today. UGH....
Extremely dirty. The place is always a mess. The dirtiest store in Rockford. Dont use the bathrooms they are disgusting... I doubt they clean them once a month. Everything is always disorganized it seems they have been always short on staff. They just dont want to pay employees.
I would have given - 0 stars if o could. There was one check out lane open with 15 ( yes I counted) senior citizens waiting in line. Some of the staples ( eggs, some frozen vegetables, etc.) were out of stock. The selection of beauty products is miserable. I used to use the store brand exclusively. There are a couple items that I can only get at Walmart. For everything else. Ill go elsewhere.
The prices are cheap...Heck its Walmart. You dont go here for fantastic service. That being said, I hate that they have 40 checkout lanes (or something like that) and only ever have 3 or 4 lines open, expecting you to use the self-service checkout lines. I hate shopping at Walmarts!
I would leave zero stars if I could. We called ahead to see if we could car camp in the parking lot and was told we could could. Upon getting there security immediately told us we could not. We went in to talk to the manager who could not have been ruder. Couldn’t care less that we drove an hour out of our way because we were told we could stay there. I have never experienced a ruder manager of any establishment. I understand policy is policy, but we got screwed over and she could not care less. No wonder this Walmart has so many terrible reviews for literally every department. If corporate cares about their customers in the slightest they’ll fire this lady and hire someone with an iota of competence.
This gross place used to be 24 hours but now they close for enhanced cleaning. What exactly are they cleaning? It certainly isnt the restrooms, floors or fresh departments. You get one foot stuck to the floor and the other balanced on a chicken leg bone! So foul. I did hear one employee blasting his fire new mix tape on his phone instead of doing anything remotely productive so I guess that gets a star or whatever. The lady with the neon pink hair by the self checkouts was basically looking over my shoulder and checking her palm pilot after every item I scanned. If I was going to steal the stuff I would just walk out with it. Good grief.
I only go here for a few items that are cheaper than other stores, but I find that they are understaffed and it shows. If they had more employees during peak shopping hours it would be nice. Their customer service is great otherwise and their bathrooms have never been cleaner at least. I just find it frustrating that even before Covid my preferred items would randomly not be available, and only 2 lanes would be open for checkout when over 25 people are done shopping and now have to wait. Their staff is overworked and it bothers me.
At least this one hasnt turned into the one where you have to make sure you dont get shot up in the parking lot. Part of it is covid part of it is a stupidity of people. Most of the products that I went for were in stock if it highly diminished numbers, I must admit there were several aisles with the stock still waiting to be put on the shelf
Very poor customer service, especially when you buy a propane tank, I literally had to wait for almost an hour every time I bought one. Every time I had to go inside the store to remind them about it and still no one shows up! This is so frustrating, I am willing to pay extra few bucks somewhere else and get proper service.
Had to pick up a lot of various things. This Walmart had most of them. They actually had a few cashiers unlike Belvidere that coverted almost all of their cashier lanes to self checkout and never have a cashier. I do not work at Walmart and refuse to use the self checkout because they are taking jobs away from people. They did have a lot of shelves empty though.
This is a warden style walmart. Messy,slow,and about 6 turnstiles and video surveillance cameras as soon as you walk in. It makes you feel trapped,and gives off a imprisoned vibe thru the door. The systems are down,or just lazy employees that dont want to walk 8ft to assist. Luckily there are 2 other in the area.
Its a typical Walmart... nothing exceptionally good or bad about it. My only complaint is that theyre constantly running out of different items in every department. There are always many empty sections on the shelves. For example, I wanted to buy a new toothbrush holder and there was one on the shelf. Just one. Their website offers a much larger selection.
This rating is based solely on my pickup experience..I ordered an item for pickup online for the first time at this store. It went extremely smoothly. It also was in the morning. I had pulled up and got my order then I was on my way all was in 10 minutes! Got home found out I needed another item so I did it again for the next day. This time I made it for the afternoon to see what it would be like in the afternoon. Again it went very smoothly. I pulled in got my order quickly and was on my way all within 7 minutes! Yes I time them. I believed it took so long the first time because someone else was being loaded before me. I will definitely be using the service again at this location..❤️
Absolutely trash service from the west riverside location to the e state . Honestly even started doing online, curbside pick up and they failed HORRIBLY I’m truly irritated because I’ve been trying to pick up my order for a week now and I’ve been to both locations either way it wasn’t ready when I got a notification from the app stating that it had been ready , ever time I go to pick up my order I’m told they put it back , there was only two bends with my name on it , they’re out of something In my check out , say to me they can’t help me I’d have to come back the next day do to it not being finished in store … then the next day it’s canceled I’m just out of patients with these grocery stores I wish we had more woodmans around 😭
The walmart located on east state in Rockford illinois, is nasty. No matter what department u go in there is items on the floor. Especially in clothing. I dont believe they ever pick up and I feel people dont feel like putting there item where it belongs when it is already a disaster
I havent gone to Walmart since Christmas eve, we forgot a few items.I went on line, store hours where till 7 pm.I got there at 6:15 pm, as I got to the door and was turned away. I asked the lady at the door why, she said were closing early. I said to her, on line it says 7pm and I drove a half hour to get here.With a bigger the life attitude she says its Christmas eve, I said I know!, I drove a half hour to get here.So I went home empty handed, because of other issues and that, it finally broke the camels back.Ive decided to take a year off from Walmart, and truly dont miss them, probably wont ever go back.
Walmart is good but the eye vision center here had some pretty rude ladies. It was a lady with white/gray hair. I understand that it’s late in the day and y’all want to go home, but don’t be rude. I was speaking to my mother when the lady rudely interrupted me and asked me if I needed my moms opinion on what day I should schedule another check up. I told her it was because I don’t drive and my mom takes me to places because of that. The doctor was really kind though. If she does that again, I’m not coming back here.
Best Gyros and fries. Burger are really good also and the burger gyro and breaded mushrooms o and pizza pockets for the kids. So many good things to eat there. And the Philly cheese steak is awesome too. Yum. Love Uncle Nicks. The one close to downtown is the better one
Had a bad experience today.Normally I take the electric cart out to the car for my 96 year old mother who can barely walk, then she rides out to the car and I return it.Today on her way out the ASScociate refused to let her take the cart back out. Just rude. Woodmans doesnt have this problem. Well be going there.
There was a great sale on shirts, so I bought several. I was at the self checkout and the associate came over, canceled my transaction and put everything back in my cart. Then she took the cart from me, went to her register to rering everything. She called a supervisor to confirm prices. Was rude and aggressive.
I am so done with Walmarts. We are touring the US in our van and occasionally stay overnight in Walmart parking lots provided there are no signs posted prohibiting overnight parking. This particular Walmart had no signs, but it did have an overzealous security guard who impolitely told us to GTFO. No problem, but simply posting a sign would have been sufficient. BTW, the restrooms at this Walmart stink and have sticky floors. And, the checkout clerk was so exhausted and distressed for being denied a break that my wife felt compelled to give her a $20 tip.
Waited for help to buy cologne 20+ minutes because its locked up which i under understand. Pressed the help button 3X walked around, no one in area. Walked all the way to the second desk for help went back kept ringing help button, called the store and let it ring for over 5mins. 2 other people needed help as well. I finally left. I will NEVER go back to this store ever again! Let me add i seen 2 employees and asked for help and said they couldnt, wasnt their dept. I was a previous MGR. for Menards and if we did that wed be fired!
This Wal-Mart location has really gone down hill over the years. Theyre always out of stock on many standard items and that was the case even before Covid caused shortages. The over all environment has become pretty trashy as well, just dirty and uninviting. I remember when this was the good Wal-Mart.
Its WalMart. Its Rockford. You get what you get. Do not expect the store to be clean or well stocked. Do not expect helpful employees (although Ive been pleasantly surprised a couple of times). Do you expect to be treated like a common thief from the moment you walk in. The signage and numerous screens make it clear that you are always on camera because of course they assume everyone in Rockford is out to steal from Walmart and while a good percentage of our population really doesnt have anything better to do, Its unfair to the rest of us.
Pesimo srrvicio,tengan cuidado porque muchos de sus productos los tienen destapados y asi los compras porque te das cuenta hasta que llegas a casa,CUIDADO CON ESO!!!.There is not much variety in products of any kind so you have to take what is in the store or go elsewhere, which is not very good if you do not have options closer to your home, there is not much order, many things are messy and you have to search very well to find it if there is in this store
Shopping was ok. Just wish they kept more cashiers working. Only one this morning. I ended up using the self serve check. There was someone there to help me scan my bananas. Construction on the parking lot today. It was a good show. To see the men working to repave the lot.
Awesomely Terrible !! Yes You Management Hire these Incompetent people who are expected to do their ?Job? When actually would truly be bettering your company / iffy they were doing custodial work , yes, not being Degrading but a Dust Mop !?! Also thinking of the Bubble Heads reading this may want to check ✅ themselves .
I wanted a mailing envelope. Walked in and didnt realize how different the layout of this store was from the one in Belvidere, so I think I had to walk nearly 75% of the store to find envelopes. Sore was clean and well lit. But, as per usual, pallets everywhere, which made moving around with a cart problematic.
Excellent service from Jesus. Very pleasant and accommodating.I am disappointed that you are again out of stock on frozen items I normally buy. Items you show you do have arent always able to be fulfilled on my order.Today your order process was awful. Every time I would ask to see details of time it went to buffering and never stopped. I also couldnt add to my order within plenty of hours before cut off. Locally I was told they couldnt do it for me. They gave me corporate number and it didnt give any option in system to speak to anyone re grocery. I ended up ordering $30 more on a new order to get 2 forgotten items on order placed already over $300.Jesus was the only thing good about Walmart today.
Why were theyre only 2 cashiers in the entire store at 6pm?? And one of them didnt accept card? Manager said Ill look into that some time instead of hopping on a register. The lines were so long, people had to wrap the line around clothing racks! Not at all acceptable - and to tell people who waited almost 30 minutes in line that they need to get to the back after the register breaks??? Why would you not move them to the front of the new line you have to move to? Will never be back.
Are use the Walmart pick up the problem I really love the pick up option but at this particular Walmart it seems to be like a lottery selection when they bring the groceries to your vehicle if you’re in slot number 10 you may get your groceries right away I was sitting there for a half an hour and saw multiple cars come and go as I sat there and finally said something to someone I’m not sure how they select who is going to get their groceries annex I would think it would go by who shows up and at what time but to me it’s just I’m going to take out the groceries that have the fewestItems because that’s the easiest route to go .Would love to have the process explained to me I think I know how it should work I just would like to know how they are doing it and why they’re doing it that way
Wow!! The employees are so rude . I check myself out because theyre so rude. Nobody is cleaning carts so I have to clean my own. Come on now , you make us wait inline to count but not to wash carts, why? Btw theyre rude at the door. Money is tight right now but going somewhere else. Again not one person I interacted with at Walmart was nice.
I took my truck to the oil change and they broke this part I had just bought my truck for three months in perfect condition, when I went to complain the supervisor in a very bad way told me that they did not plan to do that and that I do what I wanted ,, Really it is not fair because the piece has a cost of 588 dollars the truth I am too upset is a bad service
Went to get a broasted chicken along with a few other items. Shopped for all our other things, then went to the Deli to get our chicken, and, much to our surprise, the Deli was closed - at 4:55 p.m. After checking around, it seems they were closed because they dont have enough employees to staff the Deli! Wow!!
Visited on a Tuesday and the store was very crowded although everyone wore masks. What we were looking for was out of stock (cooking utensils, socks, eye drops, outdoor plants). Also entered Ladies Room which was disgustingly dirty. What looked like feces was on toilet seat, tp all over the floor, and sink was stained. Decided on self check out which wasnt as quick as I thought, but cashier was patient and helpful.
Very disappointed in Walmart i Bought 2 remote start online from Walmart plus back to them both up with warrantee plan then do Walmart 3 times even though their website said they would take a back I go to the stores and they would not take a back they said I had to send it back to them the 3rd party even though I bought it through Walmart Like I said Im very disappointed in Walmart cant help their customer out!
I was there between 8 and 9 last night and the lady working in the self checkout area was so friendly and very helpful. I had clearance items marked wrong and I had to pay with 3 different credit cards and she was very patient in my technologically ineptitude. I went to the customer service center and told her how awesome she was and she deserved a raise lol. I knew her name and now I cant believe i dont remember it. I wish I could because normally I cant wait to get out of the Rockford Walmart but she was just so nice and I left there happy and I dont normally comment on other people but I told them they should have comment cards so that great service can be recognized and rewarded. If I remember the name ill let you know.
I had an app that was to allow me lower cost on some items, but the store was out of stock on a great deal of items and they did not honor my discounts. Other than that I always shop here because the staff is nice and Im normally able to get everything I need at one time.
ALWAYS out of stock of many, many items (even pre-pandemic). Most of the staff is rude & management is even worse! This particular walmart seriously lacks in customer service! When i got home, i checked my card balance & what do u know, that 30 bucks got taken out of my debit card AT WALMART THAT TRIP! & when i called to get the matter resolved, they gave me the runaround & were treating me like I was lying even though I was trying to show them my statement, nobody wanted to see it or look at my receipt (which for some reason, didnt show any debit payment)! 2) I was at checkout & for some reason, the forgot to take a recalled item off, after the poor cashier scanned it, she couldnt go any further w our checkout until a manager, not assistant manager, had to be a mamager (which she was VERY CLEAR ABOUT), the 20x she had 2 call up there! Each time she called the manager, the lazy manager would send a different assistant manager, or shift manager, whatever, just always ANYBODY & EVERYBODY BUT HER! so weve been standing here at this checkout for OVER 45 MINUTES when she finally came down! Then she was giving us an attitude & lying straight to our faces on top of it! She had the audacity to tell us she just walked in the door when i heard the cashier on the phone w her for over 45 min! Omfg! This walmart is the absolute worst, but sadly, its the closest one to me, but i go here only when i dont have a choice & its worse then ever. Other Wal-Marts I been to are NOTHING like this one. I wish i could remeber that cashiers name cuz she was the only one there who had customer service skills & respect & was so apologetic about something that wasnt her fault. Now its EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to get me angry enough in general, let alone angry enough to post so negatively, so it shows how awful this place is. Thats the only constant at this Wal-Mart, that it always has been, still is, & probably ALWAYS will b the worst Wal-Mart u can ever go to. If I could give negative stars, I would!!!
Terrible service and the new you interns working wear what ever they want. I went to self check out and the old lady was talking to another customer about me and my mask not being up. You still have to be nice even if you are scared of the disease. I do not like Walmart anymore. It use to be so nice people with good attitudes n ready to work but since Sam Walton died it treats its employees Terrible and in turn they treat customers worse.
All of the Walmart have the same problems the shelves have alot of empty spots that when Walmart is as big as they are there shouldnt be that many things out of stock.the other thing I hate is the constant removal of real checkers and putting in the self checkout .I hate that they are doing away with jobs and not creating more
So you get rid of even more cashiers and add in self checkouts. Still waiting in line for this. Why am I checking out and bagging my own stuff? Im not an associate and Im not being offered any sort of discount for doing the cashiers job. Plus the store is a total mess. Things are also packed so tightly that you cant shop it without it all falling on the floor. Random carts filled with stuff throughout the store makes it hard to move around especially when they are busy. Seen 4 people standing by a pallet just talking...??? Is this why the store is trashed? Ross dress for less is starting to look cleaner...
Came in to do some shopping at appropriately 4:30 am on Sept. 19th. Had to wait in line for a big order to go through and it had to be voided out. While waiting for the customer service manager to come and clear the register the cashier was very apologetic. She apologized several times for making everyone wait. The customer behind me left his stuff because it was too long to wait. Finally after waiting for 6, 7 minutes the customer service manager came up. I made the comment, Im tired or waiting for the customer service manager to show up. She immediately got an attitude with me asking me what I said. She heard me quite clearly. Her job is to service customers not chase then away. Left my stuff on the belt causing me to go hone without what I actually came in for. Customer service manager had no sense of urgency. Someone needs to teach her how to manage and take care of customers properly. Two customers left without what they wanted. Bravo Walmart! Promote another idiot.
I dont know why this Walmart not only has a inconsistent design from other nearby locations but on top of that it had half of the selection. Highly disappointing and confusing as not only could I not find something as simple as Camp Dry which for some reason its sold out everywhere but the inconsistency from other locations made it infuriating to find its comparable products. Not only were these problems but then on my way out I came across a non renovated self checkout which was causing congested lines. Longer wait than other locations -1 star. Inconsistent layout -1 star. Lacking stock in a product not commonly used -1 star
Horrible. Very busy time right now and they have 1 register open. Really. Employees standing around talking instead of helping customers. After 30 mins plus standing in line they finally open a 2nd register. Self checkouts are pointless when ever I use one at Walmart it freezes my card.

First time going to Rockford Wal-Mart and it was your typical experience. I gave 3 stars because 1 guy out of 3 people in electronics asked if I needed help when I was looking at laptops, other 2 were too busy playing and flirting with each other. When I used the restroom it was clean but an employee walked out behind me and didnt wash his hands. I confronted him and all he could say was he planned on using hand sanitizer when he went to the back part of the store. Good selection of usual walmart products but could try to be more professional and sanitary.
Everytime I order photos online and get an alert that my photos are ready I get there have to usually wait and wait in line only to be told theyre not ready. After about another 10 to 15 minutes of them searching they finally find them. So most likely online photo orders must be stored somewhere magical because they always show up.
I enjoy walmart. The checkout took too long because the person in front of us had alcohol. Waited over 10 minutes for a manager. Finally Leslie came (thank you Leslie). Then I didnt bag the large items in my order and there were many pillows comforter sets etc spent 300 dollars. Then waited while an employee checked EVERYTHING on the receipt. Saturday morning 8/17/19 was too long for that trip.
So looking forward to bite me more film for my Fuji camera I love that camera got it for Christmas its blue $7.88 I do believe for just a pack of film $30 to $40 for a big pack of stone but its worth it plus I got me some magnets from CVS yesterday that work with my camera amazing I cant wait to shop for Easter got a lot of grandbabies Ty Walmart
This is one of the biggest Wal-Marts I have ever been to, and has more items than I prefer to talk about. But if you need help finding something from customer service, trust me dont waste your time asking just use the Walmart app on your phone and it will lead you to whatever you are looking for.
Just horrible 9/28/2019 1:15pm-1:50pm Not one single person will answer the phone. Quick put on hold but no speech from real person, just put on hold real fast. They will not answer the phone. Drove all the way there 26 minutes away and still was on hold. Was calling for my daughter medication for pharmacy but when arriving the entire pharmacy is closed. Had to sit and wait for 30 minutes because all of the pharmacy went to lunch. Not just one person or in increments(each worker at different times, but all at same time.) walmart has a huge broken system here. 30minute wait time, while typing this. We will see what else will go wrong. Spoke manager-and they said the will take care of phones and phone people. Stated I do not want to have this blown off.

And if you enjoy watching crazy cat people, extremely obese unbathed masses clamor around to spend their food stamps this is the place to be. No better people watching place in the world.
Im not much of a Walmart shopper and couldnt remember why. Now I remember why.They need to stock up and clean up the store.I did find the automotive item I was looking for in 5 short minutes. I took the last one they had on the shelf.When I shop at big box stores like this, I like to go in, get what I absolutely need, then get the heck out.The staff are friendly; thats why I award 3 stars.
Since moving here in early January for a year for work from Los Angeles, CA, where I avoided Wal-Marts as much as I could due to the insane crowds and checkout lines being a nightmare as well as the fights and yelling matches between customers, I usually shopped at local grocery and farmers markets. Since this city and area being a complete culture change for me, and without my usual go-to grocery outlets/chains, I began shopping at Walmart. I have been nothing short of amazed at how different it is from what I was used to; having a disabled roommate who requires handicap parking, weve always been able to park in a designated handicap spot which is rare. Now during the COVID-19 pandemic, the staff has been amazingly helpful with the entire store having noticeably directional signs throughout to allow shoppers like me to avoid frustrating congestion, while also being able to social distance; each isle in food section is a one-way. With COVID-19 safety measures disallowing me to bring my own bags right now, theres a small area in the entryway/exit to put plastic bags in after you checkout, or to bring back next time to recycle, which is great; COVID-19 prevention, and less plastic pollution in our oceans. The staff has always been helpful. The produce is seasonally appropriate and great compared to other Walmarts Ive been to. The bakery section is sinfully good, I do my best to avoid but if youve got a sweet-tooth, satisfaction is a guarantee there. The deli section has wide, quality variety, also these amazing wraps some other and things made to-go and theyre SO good, unique and tasty as if they came from a restaurant- and theyre able to be purchased with EBT (food stamps/assistance) which is a blessing as when Ive had the need to use them I struggled to find anything that was ready-to-eat, which I needed; convenient, healthy, and tasty. Ive certainly been more than happy shopping at this Walmart, and will continue while still living here. If I could make a few suggestions: make it easier to find a place for the shopping carts when done unloading items in my car, cigarettes to be sold in any isle not just one (as in other Walmarts Ive gotten them by my cashier going to the customer service/tobacco isle) and returning so I dont have to go to another isle after already checking out, and lastly having more visible signs for what items are in the waist-high freezer/refrigerators by the dairy and seafood/meat sections. Im very pleased and surprised by this Wal-Mart. Stay well everyone!
The location on east state easily has the worst customer service. When you go over to the electronics department, where pretty much everything is locked up, there are never any employees around.Everything is locked up because people keep stealing. People keep stealing because the employees are never around. Probably sitting in the back on their phones.The employees who actually decide to show themselves are either too busy to help or just have the body language of I cant be bothered right now leave me alone.Out of the same 4 cashiers working every time Im there, they all have piss poor attitudes as if every customer is an inconvenience for walking down their register lane.But thats ok. I blame the management team and general managers of this location. Paying your few overworked employees such a low wage should be a crime. At my job, we have team leads. And Im one of them.Whoever is leading the departments around the store needs to seriously reevaluate how they manage their workers. If you need more people, get them. Youre a multi billion dollar company. Stop being cheapskates. Give your employees a raise, and maybe theyll treat customers like human beings.You have way too many lanes in your store to only have 1-3 open ALL DAY. The entire establishment of Walmart needs a complete makeover and regulations need to be reestablished to better serve the people who bring them their business.Hire more people, and if you want better candidates, quit looking on Rockford Mugshots for new hires.
Worst demn service and waste of my time during Christmas shopping! Like I was around electronics section to buy one of the JBL speakers that cost $300 but funny to see there was no employee working around that area. So I talk one of the employees outside of the electronic area and guess what I have to go all away to the front area to ask someone to help me back to speakers section like wow... like i will feel doing exercising by walking back and forth that’ll be a great gym to workout but waste of my time! Really slow service and lack of employees to help... this should receive no stars...
I just accidentally bought an item online as I was in the store and the supervisor just wouldn’t go and get the item she said it may take until 10 pm to get 1 item out of the beauty isle or maybe that was too far of a walk for her🤭so I went back there and couldn’t find it. I’m totally upset and would suggest no one to to curbside pickup with Walmart on Walton you may receive your items the next day even if you made a morning purchase now that is just plain LAZY!!!! It’s 8:39 in the morning by the way!
Way too busy, can hardly look at something without somebody else getting mad at you, feels very rushed to get in and get out. Key pads are falling off of registers? Its just a few screws, cant be too hard to fix, instead theyre just laid to the side. Store overall is fine I guess though, most of what I wanted was in stock
The main problem I have is I am unable to stand long,so I need their mobiles. Sad to say for a month or so they only have 5. They say the others are being fixed. It would seem to me that Walmart would have enough money to buy new ones or get them fixed faster. Disabled people need them to buy groceries too.

2021-11-11Employees were definitely helpful without hesitation so that was appreciated. However, the store is quite disorganized in my opinion. Complementary items should be near each other not on opposite sides of the store. It is Walmart so I’m not expecting much in terms of environment and cleanliness, but I didn’t have many complaints there. Overall, my experience can be summed up in my rating. Three stars: nothing special, average.

2022-06-30Customer service is horrendous! I called to ask if a certain fire pit was in stock which I saw on their website. The first time I was disconnected while the phone was ringing. The second time I got through and the associate said she was transferring me to the correct department. After a few rings they disconnected again. I have it one more shot and it was the same lady at the start. She said hold on and I was hearing the music indicating I was on hold. After about 2 minutes I was hung up on once again. The employees here simply don’t want to do their job. This location (or Walmart in general) is downright pathetic. Buying the fire pit elsewhere.

2022-06-04I have not been in any Walmart store since covid began because of an experience I had where I was belittled and humiliated by staff. I went into the store with my daughter to look for a couple of things for her wedding the store was in horrible shape shelves not stocked rolling shelves mismanaged and all angles looking worse than Kmart ever did on his best day. I will not go back I was right at the beginning of covid 2 never go back. Walmart is a joke

2022-05-15I sometimes get distracted inside of Walmart because I dont prepare a list of what I need and I just wonder about the store aimlessly, looking at all the cool things I am considering buying. Its one of the reasons I like doing most of my shopping online - except for food - because I tend to feel better about myself when Im checking out. If I had a car, Im sure Id appreciate Walmart more.

2022-06-28This store is a disaster. Pallets full of boxes blocking all the isles tons of employees working and in the way, NO BANANAS and $20 DEAD hydrangeas. DEAD. All of them. Not even ONE open cash register they are all self pay! Whoever is managing or owning this store is obviously cutting corners to not hire more people theres nothing here isles are pathetic nothing is stocked. What a train wreck of a store just go to the other one across town
