Walmart Supercenter in other cities:
This is a sad and run down Walmart. It has no leadership, direction, purpose. Its disfunction carries through out the whole store and outside. Security is lame at best. There idea of being productive is to bother uber/lyft drivers. While theft is at a whole time high. Carts of food everywhere with no customer around it. Vandalism is happening everywhere. Security mission is misplaced and lacks real purpose. Loss prevention should be there full time to teach them how to have valuable knowledge and experience. Giving them real purpose. Hr is unproductive, lack leadership and understanding of stores needs and able to hire quality workers. Stop hiring people at 16$ would they come in with the skills of 7.25. They want more pay start working. Outside area is full of trash on the regular. Need I say more probably, you get the idea.
This is the biggest Walmart Ive ever seen let alone been in. Hard to find things. Byt if patient wait will produce what your seeking. Employees could use some product placement location training. Ask where to find. Usually answer is I dont know. And there access py phone is a joke. For the syst doesnt even know if it has it. So I evinduly found on my own a couple isles later. But thats Walmart. Isnt it.
Not enough cashiers for this busy day. Every one is busy grabbing things for home. Walmart is ready for Easter, got a little summer stuff on shelves. Tons of candles. Cards, and beautiful Easter Sunday Best . Love the home decor there also. Had to grab some snacks too. Staff is so friendly and are very knowledgeable about their products. A atmosphere is different cus everyone is in there own world. Lol. Im always happy to go to Wally world as my family calls it .. I call it my everything store.
I picked up my online order and the process was smooth and fast, once I found the places to park for the online orders. I wish they had some signs in the parking lot pointing out where they expected you to park, not just signs on the parking space tucked around the corner off of the main lot.
Great Department store and the workers are Wonderful and one female customer gave me a Compliment about my clothes that I was wearing and I told her thanks and I admire that but anyway enough about me it is a Nice Store to go out and shop whenever you are out of Town.
I like going shopping at Walmart the only problem I have with going there, is there is never enough help running the cash registers. And when you ask the manger off they can get more help. He just says that they are short handed. I told him if you hire someone who does not show up then let them go and find new. Workers till you find the right person to do the job. There is usually one self check out open at one end or the other open at with six or eight registers and one with a person running it and it is where the cigs are sold. That is my only problem. When it is the 3 of the month and all the SSI people get there checks and the ho on on the 3rd the lines are outrages. When I go to Walmart I need to get in and out because I have a care worker of mine who brings me and we are on a time limit
Walmart reorganizes their stock often into different areas and many times it doesnt make sense and it becomes very difficult to find items. New employees often respond that they havent no idea where items will be located in the store and send the customers on wild goose chases all over. Not only are the customers confused, so are their employees!!! Otherwise, Walmart would be our go to place. We hate things being changed so much we cant locate what we need and spend too long trying to track it down.
The lines are too long for the short do it yourself registers. If they gonna make us scan and bag our own.... the bigger orders should be on the bigger do it yourself registers. Makes more sense!!! The lines would move better!! If Walmart treated their employees better ...from what I hear.... then they could have those registers open with staff there to work them!!!
Edit: The shopping experience has gotten much better. I think theyre starting to hire adults instead of the high school crowd that just didnt care. Check out lanes are actually available. Deli staff is much nicer and you can actually buy the thing you used to be able to buy. The bakery lady is an absolute sweetheart. She made my sons birthday cakes and cupcakes both last year and this year. She puts so much care into making them beautiful and they are so delicious! This Wal-Mart is closest to me but now I only go if I have to pick up a prescription. Ill drive out of my way to another store before coming in here. Never more than one register open. Theyll have the self check out line going all the way to the back of the store and still wont open registers. Forget needing a cart because they havent brought any in. Employees are so rude and dont want to help with even the smallest questions.. Starting to notice a decline in produce quality. Often times its rotten. They never have water in stock and they might as well shut down their deli. They dont make wraps, salads or sandwiches anymore and forget trying to get an 8 piece chicken. If youre going for deli items dont bother with one. Just go to the Alpine one instead. At least Alpine has a large self check out area so youre not spending 30 min in line just to spend another 10 trying to get out because of the second line to hand in your receipt. This used to be a decent Walmart but lets just face it... now its really just a kick out spot for the employees
This is the 3rd times this happened to me at this exact location!I’ve been in this same spot for over 45 minutes just to wait for my online pickup? This is outrageous! I see staff with orange vests just standing around walking in and out going from cars to cars to ask if we submitted our online pick up yet.... update your procedures for better and more efficient services guys!Tried calling number listed on the sign over 10x and no one seem to be there to answer. What’s the point of having your phone number on the sign then?
The Westside Walmart APPEARS normal when youre shopping inside. All the merchandise is the same as the other Walmarts. All the shelves are stocked and arranged as the rest of the Walmarts. Its not until you go to checkout that you realize what a dumpster fire it really is. Theres like a total of maybe 10 self checkouts with lines backed up to the rear fire exits and about a half mile of barren wasteland as there sits useless old registers that were once manned by human beings. Total wait time... about 20 minutes before you get your belongings checked out and see the light of day again.
Walmart has become a store to stay away from only one register open the rest are all self checkoutPrices go up and never can find anyone on the floor to help when you do they are rude and walk away from youEven when you order something online it never comes on time customer service is a joke can never get themIts time for Walmart to close why shop a place like thisIf this app had a better rating system it would be nice needs a from -5 to +5 my rating would be a -5Walmart is probably the worst store there is being disabled they never have charged wheel carts and some stores have as few as 4 of them for their disabled customers I have walked out of Walmart because of this the store has never been in worse shape in all my years of using them out of 20 self checkouts only have 4 open for use cant find anything even the employees cant find anything this store is a joke
When I go to Wal-Mart I choose to go early around 8-9am so its less full of pajama wearers. The problem with that is now I have to battle in the aisles with the employees getting online orders together that love to park their carts in the middle of the aisle. It is far less busy but most of the time not even one register is open. Mind you I have a full cart. So they make me go to self checkout that has only the small space to utilize and not the ones with the normal belts. Partly my fault because this happens all the time but continue to put myself through this madness.
They always claim that they are short staffed, but have tons of staff just standing around doing nothing or goofing off. My problem is the fact that every time i press the “how can we help” button , nobody has a key or they dont know who has it . Just completely slow paced its so embarrassing to know our local walmart employees are disorganized.
I was there this morning and they only had two registers open and the east self checkout bay. The lines were 10-15 people long and took forever to check out since the young lady working the register had to wait for a manager to ring out the alcohol for her, we all had to wait about 10 minutes for a manager!! Completely ridiculous when they probably could have pulled a few girls that were stocking to the registers and gotten people checked out in an efficient manner. Get it together Walmart!!!
I wouldnt come here after dark, but thats not Walmarts fault. Its reasonably clean and seems to have the full product selection. Like every Walmart no one will volunteer but when you ask for help, the staff were very helpful - led me all the way to the item I was looking for rather than just pointing and telling me where to go. I appreciate that a lot.
Place needs new managers! I get my groceries delivered…this Walmart is thee worse….they always deliver outdated food…two days ago on Nov.28 they delivered ground Turkey that had an expiration date of Nov. 09 …so basically they store old meat, then try and resale it…will not receive anymore deliveries from that store.
On a weekend trip to Orangeville, I realized I had to pick some stuff up for the weekend. Found this Walmart near the highway so I set my GPS to take me here. Turns out there is no Walmart here, just an empty field. Still, not the worst Walmart Ive ever been to. 2/5 would not revisit.
They have 3 cashiers! All the self checkouts open but very little help. There are so many young workers just walking around doing nothing! Not one cart in the store! They all need to be fired! Waited in line 30 minutes Because the customers in front of me brought alcohol. The lady asked a young girl in fact two young workers to get a manager and she told the lady she couldnt do it! Then the other co-worker said yous should know if you come to the west side walmart what do you expect! Im like wow smh! She said she hopes it gets shut down! Well with young immature employees like them it just might! Wont be going back there!
I consistently get the run around at this place this place I need to pick up money. Either the managers numbers are arent working and locked out or the system is down. Management does not apply themselves as they should. It is more or less a free for all, employees do not care.
I used to love Walmart but when you walk in there and ask employee wear something is they dont know where things are even if they working in the same department its hard to find someone to give you good service or to help you find something theres never enough workers you can always a long line
Horrible!! Always stand in a line to check out for at least 30 minutes!! Then only 1 employee in the whole store is able to check out alcohol!! Needs management attention. Everyone was complaining every time I go there. Not going back. Somebody do something PLEASE !!!!!
Incredibly poor service, even for Walmart. For the 2nd Sunday in a row, not enough cashiers. Yesterday, heard all 5 (only 5!) Cashiers called in sick. A blatant management failure and not necessarily just the store management. Tired of going in with a decent mood and coming out with a bad one.
A bit small, and usually out of stock of many different items, this Walmart is definitely very busy and usually cannot keep in stock what people tend to want because of this. Great place to get food and such but going for specific items, even if theyre listed on the website they may be out of stock so its best to run to a different Walmart if you dont have enough time otherwise.Things tend to be a bit busy, large lines are normal for all checkouts, aswell as sometimes random stuff lying about. The main issue is this is usually out of some necessities, making it almost required to run up to another Walmart.
This store is terribly maintained. I think because its on the West Side of Rockford its upkeep is an afterthought. The aisles are never stocked. Theres never any cashiers and on any given Sunday youll find merchandise on the floor all throughout the store. The one star is given to the employees Ive encountered their always very nice.
Absolutely horrible I called ahead to make sure that my order was ready because Last time they had me sitting here for two hours waiting on my grocery order that got moved to the next day because they didn’t have time apparently to pick my order that I placed three days prior. I pulled up I’ve now been here for about 30 minutes other cars have come and gone got their groceries While I still have nothing. Tried to speak to an employee after finishing up loading another car that came after me and he just ignored me like it wasn’t his job. It’s not the kids fault it’s the managers who don’t staff enough employees get it together.
In store shopping is fine but do NOT do pick up with this one. They have 1 person doing all of the work of delivering to the cars in stalls. Waited for over an hour the first time after they texted me my order was ready then was told it wasnt finished. Gave them one last final try and waited again for an hour after I received my order was ready text..it wasnt. Save yourself the aggravation and headache.
Im hearing this morning that, after such a long time, they will have new management....again. We will see if things are turned around. We have suffered since 2006, the first time my wife and I shopped that location. Im not crossing my fingers, however I am sick of driving 22 minutes to Rockton when Riverside is 2 minutes away.
Do not go to Walmart on West Riverside in Rockford. You will stand in line to check out for an hour or more. Terrible service, management wont take calls. The elderly and pregnant are forced to stand in line for a very long time. They dont have enough lanes open and obviously dont care about their customers. .
You know I just love shopping at Walmart money saver always a friendly face beautiful peoples always a smile when you walk through the doors always somewhere there to help when you are in need of it thank you Walmart for being your local store yours truly Kattie Sanders box
GROCERY PICK UP is usually amazing & compliant but today I can honestly say I was disappointed. A day time employee named Eric made every effort to not bring out my groceries and also gave more mouth than asked for AFTER I ended the conversation and dismissed, looking for better help. While I was being assisted by a different team member Eric continued to stick around and eavesdrop on what I had to say just to add his 2 cents that I no longer acquired. I won’t be doing online pick up from this location any longer!
This was the worse experience ever with Walmart. There was an issue so they let the associate go in the electronics early. Ok no biggie my son asked an associate for some assistance and she said sure. 20inutes later nothing. So he asked another associate and she paged a manager back. We were rudely bypassed 3 times by other customers that came in after us. So we said ok lets go to the front. Again another lady came up after us. We were bypassed again. Bit nope I freaked out this time and went off. So n I t my nature but after an hour of being ignored I had enough. Something needs to change here. If we didnt actually need these 2 things we would of left.
Waited 50 minutes for grocery pickup and still havent gotten them. The 2nd time this has happened. I only use Walmart for grocery pickup, but I wont be back. After giving them a second chance, I found that 21 items on my to go order were unavailable with no attempt at substitution, including: potatoes, romaine lettuce, ground beef, chicken, and milk. All staples that should be easy to find or substitute. So yeah, they still suck.
Needed garbage bags and sippy cups. They had what I needed. Store messy as hell! I was able to go through the self-checkout and get out of the craziness a lot quicker than had I waited in line for a cashier. I upped my stars from last time is because they have repaved half of the parking lot which really needed to be done!
The store is always a mess. Reminds me ofdirt cheap everything either broken or opened. Shelves are always so messy. Employees are always carrying on standing around talking or on there phones. I have never before seen a walmart this bad. This store needs alot of help!
Make sure you check your pick up order closely. Tonight I waited 65 minutes to have them load my groceries and I was missing 15 items when I got home. I called when I noticed the missing items. It took over 5 minutes for someone to answer the phone and then I learned that in order to fix the situation I have to go into the store. I order pick up to avoid going in.
Quick and easy to get in and get things you need but when its time to check out, you wait in one of the 2 or 3 lines that have an actual person working for over 15 minutes. Self checkout may be a convenience but not always when you have coupons, discrepancies, or prefer to not do the job that the cashiers are paid for.I prefer to be greeted but more and more the corporations are wanting to save any amount of money.
Very understaffed, as for the staff that does work there they seem to not want to do any work at all. Terrible management, never ever enough lanes open. The money center is not operational half of the time. The half where it is open there is a 45 minute wait. They really need to regroup their employees and perhaps find some new management.
Used to be my go to store but since they never have enough cashier and you wait for hours to get checked out I hate going here. If they were really worried about the spread of COvid I think they would try to get the people out faster. Do they ever sanitize the self pay areas?
I approached the deli at around 540pm and the gentleman helping everyone let me know that he would be right with me after the two customers he was helping. A few moments later a different employee approached him and asked isnt the slicer already down and before he could respond to her she turned to me and stated we wont be able to slice anything for you. I asked what time the deli closed and she let me know it was due to the deli being understaffed.I stood there for a moment to find a different deli at which time a second customer walked up and started to wait. I let her know that the deli was closed but she wondered why as well and as we stood there a manager came up and asked the female employee what the issue was and she explained that she would be leaving in an hour so they didnt have time to slice for the deli and clean. The manager asked the second customer what she needed from the deli and even though the customer let him know that I was there before she was he asked the gentleman behind the deli to slice what she needed and then slice what I needed and shut the deli down afterwards. Not only did the lady behind the deli ultimately with a terrible attitude decide that she would just slice the items we needed she was extremely rude about it.The fact that the lady at the deli had very poor customer service skills and a poor attitude coupled with the fact that the manager insisted that the caucasian customer gets helped before me even after he knew I was there first made this trip to Walmart very unacceptable.
Can this store actually get worse? Somehow, theyve managed it. Any other grocery store is a much further drive. They never have enough checkout panes open, lines are stacked deep into the aisles every time I go, so I switched and started doing their delivery service instead. Theyre always out of something basic. Delivery was due 3 hours ago. There is no updated time on the app and I cant be here all day so I tried calling the store to get a ballpark time. Simple enough, right? Oh, silly me! The first time no one answered. The second time the woman left me on hold for 10 minutes until I hung up. I tried calling for about an hour and no one ever picked up. Finally on the last call I got a human and asked for a manager. Mistake. The woman who left me on hold was the one who answered. When I explained what I wanted (a delivery time estimate) she proceeded to chew me out for having the gaul to bother her because everyone is on lunch (its 3:30 pm and Ive been trying to get a human since a bit before 1). She then explained that when the service desk is busy with customers, they dont answer phones (because the people calling arent customers?). I asked for a manager again. She informed me that the manager would agree with her anyway, so why bother I asked again for the manager and she put me back on hold where I sat for 10 minutes before I said f**k it and hung up. Shop anywhere but here. No. Seriously. Anywhere.
The restroom in this store is always filthy. I stopped a sales clerk and asked if someone could please clean the ladies restroom in the back of store. She looked at me and rolled her eyes. Then said some one will get it and walked away. I wont ever be going back in there.
I went to Walmart about a week ago and I was looking for collard greens the two ladies that work there was standing in front of the green section talkin I asked her can I goodbye her to see the vegetables Bill Burr no collard greens so I asked the lady do they have any in the back she abruptly said no a person working in a store should always remember that we are their customers and they should treat us with respect
I wanted to exchange a kids toy but wanted to make sure they had in stock at this Wal-Mart. Their phones just rang. Even other dept ones. I drive there and went in to exchange broken one. Customer service was very friendly and did the exchange. I told her of the phoneand she realized it hadnt rang in awhile. Hope she was able to let someone know their phones were no not working. FYI on THOSE FLASHY Security car LIGHTS... I tried to call after I was leaving to talk about the security vehicle outside in parking lot was very annoying with all the green LED lights flashing on it. Phone lines still didntwork. Anyway, I stopped the security guy and asked him If he had realized that those flashy lights driving around the lot could cause someone a seizure or stroke possibly. Or as with me, I had to stop driving as it was coming towards me when I was pulling in the parking lot. I am very light sensitive and the flashing all of those green LED lights made my disability worse that I had to stop until after he passed. He said yes he heard of that but that lights really do the job and chuckled. I continued to mention that I was having troubles with them and others maybe worse than I. I dont know if this is just for the Christmas season or all the time Im just glad thats not my regular or wouldnt see me out there at night.
I came here with my sister to get a tire. We picked out the one she needed and they said they could put it on right away. 2 and a half hours later and we were still waiting. The other departments in the store are just as bad if not worse. Most employees are just walking around on their phones. Ive never seen anything like it. This place is in a major need of a management change. SERIOUSLY!!
I have been a Wal-Mart + customer online since September. I signed up because I was able to try membership for 14 days. After my 2 wk trial it seems like things went downhill very quickly. I shop exclusively at the 3902 Riverside Blvd Rockford IL 61101. I have had about 10 deliveries since I signed up. I am gonna be transparent and to the point. In the last few weeks, I had 3 orders last week in which I had 14 substitutions and 10 Out of Stock items to my order. Last week I also ordered 3 gallons of GV Vitamin D milk. Ask me how & why the driver was ready to deliver my order w/o ANY milk. When I place MY orders I always check box to allow substitutions for my entire order, to simply avoid things like this. I had to call 8 times and ask him please dont try delivering my order w/I milk. Milk to me is a staple item in my house esp. with having a kid. This week I placed a order on Wednesday morning at 7am and spent about 4 hours on it because after adding over 70+items it wouldnt allow me to add or delete items :( I created a huge order and I rather get some stuff then nothing at all. We were low on food and it was supposed to be delivered between 6-7pm. I had a bad feeling and my instinct was right. At 7:10pm I decided to call store and try to get a order update. I called over 16 times from 7:10pm to 9pm. Still no answer from anybody at Wal-Mart. I even tried reaching an employee at another department. I finally got ahold of a man in Electronics & he transferred me to a Manager. It rang over 20 times and I decided this was not working. I decided to start a chat from Wal-Mart.com & SEE if I had better luck. I supplied them the order # and told me there was no driver assigned to the order yet and to try again in 30 minutes. After 30 minutes go by I started another chat and another representative told me that they were gonna reach out to the store. A few minutes go by and they tell me that they are very sorry but the driver for my order was in a car accident.. I was shocked & then asked what is my next step? By this time it is 9:30pm my son still hasnt eaten dinner and was very hungry. They told me all they could do is cancel the order and I would have to reorder online tommorow or I could wait to see if they deliver in the morning time. My only concern with doing that is I am unable to get ahold of ANY employees when I call the store. Which would have resulted in the exact same outcome which really was not okay. I am a very understandable and patient person but what surprises me is a simple call would have worked for me even if it was to say we are running very behind. I was even told on Wal-Mart.com that the driver was in a accident and myself being in Retail/Sales industry you need to be in contact with the customer when that happens. But I received no update at all. I have reached out to this Wal-Mart location with no luck in hopes I could speak to a Manager. I am extremely frustrated which is why I am in contact.
I am not a Walmart person normally. My neighbor had surgery so I was helping her out by picking up a couple things. The greeter at the door was perturbed when I asked where the pharmacy was. That was the first bad sign. Then when I found the pharmacy just directly around the corner from the greeter I had to get help from the pharmacist. The pharmacist was polite and helpful. Krystal, the assistant, was another story. Talk about rude! When I explained what I needed she just flung her hand and said go over there. I asked where as I was not a regular customer. She would not come to help me when I asked. Mind you, they were not busy at her counter either. I wandered for a bit and still not finding what my friend needed I went back to the counter. Now there was one person in front of me. When it was my turn Krystal asked what I needed as apparently she forget me that fast. I asked if she could come and show me where this item was. Well she did come this time but not happily. Then I followed her back to the counter to pay and now two people were in line and she told me I had to get back in line AGAIN! That was 3 times in line when initially all she had to do was help me in the first place when I was picking up the prescription! As she was already helping me, why did she not complete the transaction instead of saying next when we got back to the counter? The pharmacist stepped in after a few minutes and completed the transaction and was very kind. Krystal needs a refresher course. For real.
Worst walmart ever 0 stars if that was possible. Called 3 times to cancel a pickup order and nobody answered every single time. Drove there to have to wait another 45 minutes to speak with someone that worked in the pickup department. Dont waste your time ever going here.
Busy store with 2 cashiers open and long lines.wait time in line is ridiculous. Self checkout with long lines. Most of the things I went for were not stocked. Shopping here is not convenient. I feel sorry for elderly and special needs customers who are waiting in these long lines. What is going on? Why is our West side store like this?
I would have normally given this place at least a 4 but within the last few months it just seems like it is going down hill. There are fights out in the parking lot. Pickup has become over crowded and slow. I have called up there three times with no answer on either the pickup line or service desk. It just rings and rings. One night our orders got canceled because of the night staff walking out. Very disappointing 😕. Management should step in and help. I do not consider myself a complainers and Im extremely understanding but like I said its going down hill.
This Walmart is much nicer than some. The store was clean, and organized. The employees are pleasant as well. Even their garden center was clean, organized, and the conditions of the plants were far better than some of the other Walmarts in town. All in all, one of my better shopping excursions.
Ive done the grocery pick up and waited over an hour and they tried giving someone elses order. Then I did the delivery and it was suppose to be delivered between 5-6pm, I called 800 number waited on hold over 40mns and they told me they would deliver my groceries the next day! That same night at 9:45 someone rang my doorbell, and saw they had not only delivered my groceries, but missed some of mine and gave me someone elses. This is ridiculous!!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
There was a SIMs card that I need to install a new phone I got and in my sims card that I had got jammed in it and it wouldnt come out and people in Walmart they were supposed to the theyre supposed to usually install it for you but they said that they didnt have a cell phone guy there and they wouldnt return the phone because they said I damaged it by trying to get my sims card outso I gave them the phone to keep and I went to the other Walmart on the westside of Rockford and figured out that they had a cell phone guy there that was able to help me out tremendously and others withif you want real phone customer service I would go to the Walmart in the west and they are the bus to go to and they have an actual cell phone department with a cell phone guy compared to these other Walmarts where youre just dealing with the employee
Shelves are very rarely fully stocked and you usually have to pick and choose what you get they also dont seem to have the selection of certain things Im used to seeing at others employees are usually nice and atleast try to be helpful. Now theyve started posting on every single register exact change or credit only. I can go to a gas station and still break a 20, apparently you cant do that at walmart anymore.
This store treat the west side customers like low class citizens. They have 1 checkout with a human and 10 people in line. Has self checkout at both ends with 15 customers in line. I am disabled and spend 30 minutes walking around to get my shopping list then must wait 20 more minutes to checkout
Dirty, gross people in pajamas, employees dorm know really anything about products or even where they may be located. Stuff I considered buying all had them opened somehow and the item stolen. Quitend re frequently, they are out of many groceries I usually buy. Dont go unless you have to, otherwise go to Target or BestBuy. Anywhere else really. The company itself has poor values. Support local if you can, Im done with Walmart. Its trash
This is the worst Walmart in the country Im pretty sure! Ordered some online groceries for pickup, arrived at 2:54, it is now 359 and I am still waiting for my groceries. Ive tried to call the store and no one will answer the phone. Im wondering why did my husband get an email saying that the order was ready when clearly it is not! I could have gotten my groceries two times over by now! I will never come to this Walmart again and you shouldnt either!! It totally sucks! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
Went in for two tires today. They said it would be 1 1/2 to two hours. I specified the front tires were to be replaced. They were worn out and the rears were almost new. After 2 hours they finally pulled my car in the shop. It was taking much longer than expected so I went to see what was up. I found they were in the process of changing the rear tires! I had to stop them! 4 and a half hours later they were finally finished. Very unprofessional service!
I called to speak with a manager and she was a bit rude about my pick up situation and there was only one person working delivering to cars!! All the stalls were full so I couldn’t enter a parking number!! It’s been 1 hour and 20 minutes in pick and still waiting!! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 Never doing another pick up order here again that’s for sure!!! ☹️☹️
The store is big, and has a variety of products. I love the make up and clothing. They offer food products at a good price as well. The workers are all friendly and helpful for the most part.My only complaint is that a lot of the time it seems that they arent restocking, so you will see a lot of empty shelves. And you may not get what you actually want, because it has not been stocked.
I would give 0 if I could this specific store the manager I’ve dealt with on multiple occasions is extremely rude and unprofessional. Literally told me she did not have time for me an for me to walk out of the store with the item I was exchanging without doing the actual exchange. Please do not do a grocery pick up order here. On multiple occasions I’ve waited over an hr an a half for them to bring out my order an they would not let me speak to management
A bit messy and they did not have many selections for thigh high stockings like I was hoping for but that is okay. The workers are polite at this one. One man even brought me a cart since he had been clearing them from the lot. Overall a pleasant experience. I also just love walking about the store. And when I need help it is never too hard to find someone.
I arrived to have my Tires checked at 8:33 am on a Sunday. The tire department opens at 8:00am. The worker said that it would take a couple of hours. It is now 12:06 and my car has not been serviced yet. Does WalMart know how to employee workers that want to work or want a job. This is the first and last time that I use Walmart for my vehicle. The employee that assisted me was very professional but I really think it’s a management/ company problem.
I think it really depends on what you are going there to buy. Its close to my house and convenient, clean, great selection of food items, crafts, clothes, work-out clothing as well. Prices are reasonable. Car center. Staff has always been very polite and extremely helpful.
Trey in the deli department is fantastic. I have never been all that impressed with any Walmart encounters and this man has been wonderful every single time I visit. He is attentive and goes above and beyond to help any time I need it. If it’s not in the case up front, he always goes in back to make sure he is giving me proper information. If I see that Trey is working, I will wait for him every time rather than take my chances with someone else. This man deserves a promotion.
I literally waited 10 or more minutes just for staff to come by the electronics to get help there were no employees in sight I had to hunt one down come on Walmart you can do better cause I’ve seen better no one should have to wait that long or search for an employee to get help in electronics stations or any other stations for that matter💯
DO NOT go to get your car serviced here! I wish someone would have warned me that getting new tires and a battery (recommended) would result in two months later (Labor Day visit home) a $1431 car repair and many other expenses I will not list. I shouldve known something was up because I drove my car in at 11:30 and still was waiting on it at 2:30... Long story short I got the new tires (they were adamant on me paying for although I couldnt drive on them $150) and I had to tow my car out of the bay. Their liability company is the worse to deal with. I know its a discount rate, but the price you pay in the long run its not worth it.
Whoever is the manager of this so called store needs to be fired ASAP. Its ridiculous that everyone has to wait over 30min to check out because the manager cant comprehend that they need cashiers up front and not just have the employees just wondering around talking to each other
Service is so slow, disorganized, and often unfriendly. Stocks are low or out frequently. Card scanners often dont work and decline your card, even if you have plenty of funds. Traffic flow in the parking lot is chaotic and its not better inside amongst the aisles. Managers verbally abuse employees poorly even in front of customers.
Was trying to get something out of the case in hardware in the automotive section and had someone called over, waited a good 10 minutes then had to find someone else to get the keys and open it for me. Took forever, but the boy was very nice that helped me the second time and actually got someone over there.
This will always be the worst Walmart. No matter how early they close or who they hire. They have absolutely no Help. I stood at the layaway section for 30 min and they didnt even have anyone back there. Multiple employees walked past and kept going as if they didnt see me. I finally left ALL my what wouldve been Christmas gifts back there and told who ever to have fun putting it all back.
They have a little of everything as Walmart does. Handy. However you feel like someone’s watching over your shoulder every second.... to the point it kind of creeps me out.The amount of high resolution cameras constantly recording your face rivals China. On top of that you need your receipt to prove you payed for your stuff before you get out the door..... even when you have groceries clearly just bagged by someone at a register a few yards from the door. That gets annoying.*I have no problem with security and cameras (they are necessary and good), but this place just goes a bit farther then your average store. I don’t know why, but it just feels creepy.
Every time I go to this location the shelves are never stocked- the manager is doing a terrible job. No trash bags, no plastic food bags, yogurt expired, no Arizona gallon ice tea, no GV sweetener. I could go on, these are everyday items. I wished you would get it together & if it’s not your fault then it’s the purchasing person who can’t get orders in on time. Pathetic!!!!!
It was a very stressful visit. My husband and I were victims of discrimination. After we self checked out we were stopped by the clerk and asked to see a receipt. Watch was understandable if she had been checking everyone before us and while she held us up others were leaving out of self check and of course she could not ask them for a receipt do to detaining us. She had a manager help her go threw each item in our cart and it was a big purchase. It was horrible our kids were affected by the whole thing. It was humiliating as we got stares and whispers to if we were stealing we paid for everything and our cart like we were suppose to. When we asked to speak to a manager whom was no help at all and as we explain our issue did not appear to care or so any empathy to our experience. We never received one apology from a manager...
It would be great if they had an area where theyre ugly vegetables and fruits and things that werent so absolutely perfect were on sale for cheaper. The price on their citrus fruit is insane but this is the middle of winter too. I know upper level management was in the building because they were standing not far from where I was checking out. I should have said something then but I didnt.
This particular location is a very depressing store everyone seems to act as if they hate there job. Shopping experience should be enjoyable not that you are a burden that they have to check you out. The worst part is employees are friendly to one another more then to the customer. Just not a good place to shop. Friendliness and Customer appreciation is important.
To be fair...what Walmart is worth 5 stars? This one is about as dingy, dirty, and depressing as the rest of them. Employees are about as helpful as disgruntled DMV employee. The shelves look like a 6-year old ran around messing things up...come to think of it...they probably did. Staff just cant be bothered to set it right. If you can get what you need from Amazon...do it. Otherwise hold your nose and try to get it over with as soon as possible.
This Walmart closes at midnight and is not often well staffed from 9pm on, and because of my schedule, I am a late evening shopper. This is a popular Walmart, and whenever Im shopping, the store is busy and the line with an actual cashier is long. There are, however, usually self-serve lines available. I love shopping at neighborhood stores, and this is the Walmart closest to me, but in this case, Id almost rather drive an additional few miles in order to receive better service.
If I could give no stars i would. First and last time I will step my foot into this establishment. i would never recommend anybody to go there. The manager in charge of the auto care service and the employee who was working on my car were very rude and it took 4 hours to put on 4 tires and do an alignment. On my way home i noticed my tire pressure sensor light was on and then the traction control/ABS sensor came on as well. I called the to get put on hold for an hour and i kept getting the run around about no manager being present. This is the worst experience I have ever had with mechanic/tire shop. Take your business somewhere else if you want things done right.
I prefer not to go to this location, MOST of the employees are awesome though! A lot of problems with this location are the customers...but this location DESPERATELY needs a lot clean up! And I dont like the fact that ALL of the you-scans are card only...all other locations in Rockford take both cash and card
There were only to checkouts open with lines well into the clothing all self checkouts were packed I had to self checkout over 2 carts of stuff tried to call and no one would answer phone needless to say I will be taking business else where plus they were out of a lot of stuff it was the second time I had been there to get socks for a toddler boy and they were out
Went to pick up on-line order started at the pick parking was told have to pick it up inside when I called the number. Went in side had to wait 15 minutes for someone to help me and they closed pick up the house right after that and it was only like 7:30 three other people were waiting ahead of me! Dont know how long they waited!
It is really not that bad. I am a people person ok n and I like to say hello. When I say hi or hello now people look at me and walk away. If I was infected I would NOT be in the store!!! Just trying to be friendly and break up the seriousness of people. If you are that afraid of people do drive up!
Waiting to get money order on Saturday and they only have one trained cashier. WTH line around the corner so I call customer service to ask why only 1 cashier ? Told know one else at work today is trained isnt that Walmart job to cover for such a time as this. Never again!
I was so aggravated by the time that I got out of there yes it was towards the end of the night towards closing but they had three lines backed up out to the front door and thought they did something when they opened another register this is one Walmart I dont care to ever go to again
Dont get tires here! OMG, I should have read the other reviews - I blame myself. I paid for semi-annual rotation on 40K tires. 2 years and 25K later, they said they were too worn to rotate and wouldnt honor the 40K. I took them to my trusted mechanic, and he said the tires were fine. They just did not want to rotate for free. The manager said that if my mechanic said they were fine to take you business there. DO NOT buy tires here.
Terrible customer service! Went to refill my water jugs, they were out of water! Cashier suggested I use the Primo machine up front and trade them out. She said shell price match. Put my jugs in(5 jugs at $15 or so a piece). She needed managers approval. They disagreed, after I already placed my jugs in the machine that was locked. I was told I either had to wait weeks for the company to come unlock the machine. Or pay for the 5 new jugs. On top of all that, both assistant managers were rude and disrespectful. After arguing with them for 30 minutes, I ended up buying new jugs. I told them I had two infants at home, I couldnt wait weeks. They both thought that was funny, and it wasnt their problem. The security guard was amazing though! She understood completely. I will never shop here again!
Poor service all the time.in the evenings. Really rude customer service help this evening from.who.i assume was the woman in charge?! She sucks. There is a guy manager who is amazing. He needs to train the night crews.I asked for assistance three times in the pharmacy area because there was no one over there to help me and I just kept getting brushed off and then I was rushed out of the store because it was closing time when I spent at least 20 minutes waiting for assistance and sent on a wild goose chase.I will say there was a new lady security guard. She was actually not giving me the death glare like I was going to rob the place like the normal guy.
I waited in pick up for over an hour!!! I called 4 times noone answered 30 min in I called and spoke with the store manager. Maybe 10 min later the manager for pick up came out and said I hadnt checked in with the app although I had checked in w my email. There was no option to check in on the app. Probably a technical error w the app. Assuming speaking w her I would then get my groceries out so I overlooked it. I proceeded to wait another 40 min before I got out in the snow w my 3 year old and hunted the 3rd person down to get my groceries. Ridiculous!
The staff are nice and help each other sometimes they dont need help! But i see that money center that walmart 2 and walmart to walmart need to let people send money to their family and friends its not scam the walmart are wrong decision that why i knew that people got angry at walmart employees but they has to stop ask people their id card and information things like that

2022-03-27Lines too long and not enough cashiers. Also a lot of employees on the floor spending more time talking to each other and not doing their job stocking the shelves. They leave empty boxes on the shelves while stocking and do not face the shelves. I dont know how many times I had to crawl under a shelf to get a 12pk of pop or tear off the shrink wrap from a skid to get bottled water while an employee was walking by.

2021-09-18This place is a joke they barely have people working and the ones that do are not even professional and disrespectful towards consumers. Mind you they have 20 lanes but only open 2 🤨 this is honestly ridiculous no wonder people dont want to work here. They honestly need to close this whole place down. I honestly feel bad for the few employees that do work diligently.

2022-02-10Every line had 5 or more customers in line. Once I finally checked out, I was overcharged on an item by $10. I went to customer service who then checked the price and came up with yet a third price. They then called for a price check and the person came up without checking and stated the price on the receipt was correct. I then requested a refund and was told they could not refund cash - I had just paid cash. I finally refunded everything in my cart after wasting the better part of an hour.

2022-03-22Walking into the store makes me feel better. I prefer the self-check and theres usually a line but it gets through quickly. Anyone who doesnt know what to do with themselves when standing in line, let me give you some advice. You will be amazed at how quickly the line goes if you take a moment to visit with your neighbors and say something nice to brighten someones day. And when will you get a better chance? 🤔

2022-05-29Giving pick-up a 5 star rating! My wait is always less than 5 minutes, my order is always correct, substitutions are 99% spot on (orange Celestial Tea for vanilla carmel black tea?!?!) And the staff is always friendly.

2022-05-29Absolutely worst experience to date. Placed an order 3 days ago for baby formula, shortage I know, and they misplaced our order. We asked to speak to management and they left us outside for 20 extra minutes and we asked another associate if there was a solution to their mistake and they called security on us for trespassing and threatened to call the police on us over baby formula and the mistake that they made. If I could give 0 stars for this store specifically I would. 100% do not recommend bringing your money to this store. Find a different walmart to shop at and leave this one alone.

2022-06-05This location is a joke. They used to be good with grocery deliveries but now it’s ridiculous. My groceries was supposed to be delivered between 1-2 pm. Two hours passed and it still kept showing that my order was delayed and have not arrived so I called. They said the first driver didn’t show up for work and had to send somebody else to bring my groceries. They need to hire more people and open up more registers because everytime I would go there, only 2 lines were opened and self checkout and they never have anything in stock that’s why I preferred delivery but not after today. If you have a car, go to a better Walmart where it’s more professional and actually have everything stocked up!

2022-07-03Walmart has what we need, and we like how most Walmarts around the country are organized generally the same way. It feels familiar and helps us shop efficiently. We have a set of regular items we can generally count on finding at any Walmart. The staff are hard working, good people.

2022-03-11Great big loud shout outs to Ms. Peggy and Ms Toni for being super kind, friendly, approachable, and professional during my last visit on tuesday 3/8/22. Both ladies just went out of their way to please me! I didnt really expect that kind of attention. Ms. Peggy ran and got me a cart and Ms. Toni was super helpful on the self checkout. Glad we met and in that brief moment in time I felt appreciated and valued. Thanks for the quick recipe! U ladies truly are an asset to this company!
