Walmart Supercenter in other cities:
EDIT: 01/21/2022Have been using Walmart delivery since 2020 when COVID really hit hard. Was reliable, responsive, and you could easily get next day delivery with Walmart Plus membership.Since the start of 2022 things have really gone downhill. Continually sent expired dairy products, which is completely bizarre, considering our household alone we consumes sufficient quantities of the products to keep stock rotated. Also getting overcharged for produce.Sold 3.12 lbs of grapes but delivered 1.25 lbs. Talk about a total scam!!Ive never, ever, in the past 20 years found as many expired, rotten products at ANY grocery store as Ive been delivered from Walmart. After this happening repeatedly within the same week, with multiple different products from the same batch, it really is starting to seem like theyre using Online Grocery to dump expired or expiring products.(Original Post)Im really frustrated and upset with this store. After several months of working through their severe lack of inventory, atrociously inaccurate stock-level information, absurd substitution selections, and outright refusal to provide a substitute that might be more expensive, it became clear something was terribly wrong with the management of the store.Ive filled out the feedback provided as truthfully as I could (they basically spam your email asking for feedback) but had to rate the performance low due to store issues. The store cancelled my account. I emailed Walmart support and they verified it was store request.I had finally found replacements for all the better quality grocery store generics that my family would actually eat, and now this. I wish Walmart would terminate this store manager and let the Online Grocery Manager (Who was super nice) have more sway in how the Online Department is run, allowing oversight over other departments.
Their hot food was hot and very delicious! The meat and 2 sides plate is so much better than one fast food sandwich. Fruit and veggie section is beautiful and the rest of the store had wide isles, which I love. The only thing is, none of the clerks were smiling at any time, sad world we live in anymore isnt it...
This Wal-Mart is the mostly good Wal-Mart for me! I shop for only me, so its probably much easier & enjoyable than for a family of 4 to get in & out... The selection & prices are really good mostly. I like almost all of the cashiers Ive encountered here, and I cant say that at all about the Aldi nearby (very rude workers). Keep up the great work & try to get some fresh bakery bread out daily.
Place is great for what you need but its lay out is off. I get it for the holidays but its confusing and signing is small. The staff though seemingly over worked Still showed effort and understanding and each one I ran into was polite and did the best they could. It isnt like this all the time but for the holiday season this is my go to Walmart out of all in the area.
I’m sill waiting in the paint department. Two people have called to get me help. I need to get paint mixed. It’s been 20 minutes already. So, I called the front desk from my phone. We will see how much longer I have to wait.30 minutes now......Management needs to do something. There’s NO reason someone has to clock in from their break to come and help me. Sounds like they’re understaffed.
The store is in the midst of a remodel while still in full operation, therefore this could be a part of the low rating. But unfortunately its not the full reason. With pickup service being a major part of their service, they need to remind their associates that customers are shopping too and be considerate of blocking the aisles. The signage is not accurate during the remodel (coffee was listed in two places and only in one location). Not to mention one female associate basically flipping customers off in the parking lot because she decided to cross in front of traffic. There is a crosswalk designated for this purpose.
Rude cashier, aisles to small. I understand they are remodeling but the aisles that are up. You can barely fit down there. They had some fabric in clearance and seen and talked to 10 diff workers and they didnt say anything about having it cut. Til we stood in line for 20 min. And than the cashier took forever to count 33.00 like are you serious. And everyone there thought they were better than everyone else. Rather go to ep or university
The store has NO conveyer belt to use for large orders for self pay and this is very INCOVENIENT for people who have a full shopping cart. I spent $215.00 dollars. They have 1 cashier working this morning and wait times are long for morning rush hours. Cant wait for Christmas Holiday to see people get upset and angry over how ridiculous this store is runned.
The store is clean and there are a good number of cashiers/self-checkouts to make checking out go fast. I gave it only a three because it does seem like every time I go in, they are completely out of stock on something I need. (Basics like spices, gluten free bread, etc)
This is for the Allen Rd walmart. I stopped in from out of town. I was surprised upon entering because it looked dirty and messy. There were boxes to the right when you enter I think there was product in them and opened I dont know what that mess was. The store is set up really odd and choppy. I went to the produce area before I left just to get one item. During that time 3 different employees got in my way literally. One of them had a cart of things to return to the place they belonged she parked her cart at an angle in the middle of the walkway and just slowly walking around putting produce back. The second employee was walking backwards almost ran into me and the 3rd one was zooming through zigzagging around. The worst part about my 20 minutes here was I had 2 items and there was only one cashier. Theres lots of self check outs but I refuse to use them so I parked my cart and left. Ill never shop here again. Some walmarts are trying to force us to use self check outs. We have them where I live 50 min away but they do have cashiers too. If they ever make it like the Allen rd walmart I simply wont shop there Ill shop somewhere else and do without if I have too. Please like my post if youre against being forced to use self check outs.
No matter how many times you call, when you call, it does not matter, you will get the same very nice old lady who doesnt know where anyone is. Asking for a manager will result in waiting on the phone atleast an hour. But that old lady, she deserves a raise. She is the only 1 in the entire store who is actually working Rn. 😂😂😂😂GOD Bless her man. I called for pricing on a Sd card. Electronics kept hanging up the phone. They do not want to work.I give 2 Stars only because of the old lady. I wanted to 1 star, you dont deserve her. If she was manager i bet in the 2hrs i called someone would of answered the phone. You put young people as manager for potential, these old ones remember a hard days work. In Conclusion Im omw to get a job application now because i could literally just leave and nobody will notice.
Selection of frozen individual meals & ice cream was poor, plus freezer had leaked all over the pints of ice cream. Couldnt find the fans, no one around to ask. And of course, I had to check myself out. On the plus side, the prices were good on the items I did manage to find.
I never get help from any employee while I am there. After I check out the woman at the door i.e. gatekeeper insists on checking my receipt even though she watched me go through the check out every week. If I stop she wants to talk with me like I am her friend, how did you hurt your self etc. I am disabled and its no ones business to ask me those questions! I hate shopping here. Recently Ive been shopping other stores.
Rude customer was cussing and ranting and looking for a fight in front of our 3 year old and nobody said or did anything. An employee tried to calm her down but she walked away from her and let her keep it up not sure if I will be back at that store. We spent over 200 dollars and would have just left with nothing but it was for our 3 year old.
Dont have the greatest workers. I tried asking one of the workers if their bathroom was close and she walked right passed me and kept walking even though i kept saying excuse me maam. Then you have some who cant hear you bcuz they have earbuds in their ears and ade talking on the phone with their friends. Another thing im not happy with is the fact they constantly move everything around. Not a big fan of walmart anymore.
Walfart is walfart, they are all the same no matter where you go,bat least in the US any way. The issue with walfart is the lack of stuff on the shelves, they are absolutely horrible at restocking and the lack of an employee anywhere to be found. Especially in electronics, there is never anyone to be found and that idiot always has to stupid key so you cant just go to another area to buy it.
I saw this one coming, went to Walmart in Branson Mo. the only check outwas the self checkout. 16 checkouts and two helpers. I ask for help and she was put out about it like she was doing me a favor. Very disappointed with Walmart so in the future I’ll try not to shop there. They run the little storesout and now they’re trying to get everyone to conform to their rules. I grew up in the time when we went to a gas station and they pumped gas checked oil and cleaned your windshield. When they started self service you got a discount now you can’t find a full service station and no discount. Walmart doesn’t offer anything for your service. 😡
Super rude customer service person. She wouldnt even let me finish my sentence and kept cutting me off. I was attempting to return an item I purchased for my business (which I lost due to COVID) right before covid hit, with receipt and still unopened. I was unable to return it during the pandemic and was hoping for some grace all things considered, but I was told repeatedly while attempting to explain the situation — it is past the 90 days, and their customer service ceases to exist after that, apparently. Already stopped shopping at Walmart outside of the pharmacy, but will be switching entirely after today.
The only location in the City that has a competent and resourceful Optometry team. This group of working professionals has a variety of glasses, contacts and goods to help provide all the proper vision care needed. All the equipment and tools are updated (even far superior to those in Chicago/SF/LA/SEA). Stop by and see the Dr here. He is a pretty easy going guy. Him and his staff are super friendly, patient and very helpful. As for the Walmart supermarket themselves, its shelves are fully stocked so there is no complaint at this location either. Much cleaner and the quality of patrons here are quite more respectable then most locations.
BUGS IN PRODUCT!!!!We have started using the Online Grocery ordering and pick up feature. While very nice to use, the store NEVER has items fully stocked which we use every week for our meals and other necessities. The employees are dressed unprofessionally, look disheveled, and are not trained on how to interact with customers. The most recent issue was that on Sunday, we purchased 2 boxes of Jiffy biscuit mix. Tonight (Tuesday night) as my wife was mixing the biscuits in a bowl, she stopped and yelled for me to come look. There was a BUG in the biscuit mix. From everything that we can tell, it was a weevil. This was obviously unacceptable. I immediately called the Walmart and requested to speak to a manager. The gentleman that took my call did not once express his regret, or apologize ONE TIME. I had to ask if we could receive a refund for the product - instead of him immediately offering this solution. Instead of accepting any responsibility for this problem, the manager merely passed all the blame on to the Jiffy manufacturer. I had to specifically ASK him what he would do to ensure something like this didn’t happen again, and asked him if he was going to apologize or anything. He laughed and said, “well, I’m sorry this happened” in a very stale tone. On top of requiring us to come back to the store physically to get a refund (instead of just refunding the cost of the items back to the payment card - because our order was made online), he said that there was nothing he would be able to do to correct the problem. HORRIBLE customer service. Unacceptable response from this manager at the Allen Road Walmart in Peoria.
A lovely Maquon, Illinois native named Melissa helped me tremendously in the FedEx part of the supercenter! She was knowledgeable, professional, oh yeah, did I say she was beautiful?!That being said, I would much rather use FedEx than any of the other next day delivery services!BLESSINGS...
Most days it is hard to get around store as I come in early in the morning stickers in product in the aisles its hard to negotiate also youre still continually out of things which is starting to get frustrating because I cant find it there for example Ive been waiting for five weeks for Hungry Jack dried hash browns to be in for $0.98 a little box and they have not been in stock one of the other main things that are out of stock constantly is butter yes Great Value butter salted I know these times have been difficult but you got to do a little bit better one of the last things Id like to mention is I bought a pair of really soft fleece sleep pants by George their fantastic and they were gone within a week and nobody knows if theyre going to be reordered and Im desperate for another pair because theyre really cool thats all for now please start improving thank you
I dont like to bash places, but this Walmart has not been stocked on random things like cat litter, in weeks!!! I dont mind self check out if I only have a few things but when I have a cart full, I would prefer to go to a line where someone rings me up, plus, job security for someone. However, when there is only 3 or 4 lanes open with someone checking out, and there are probably 10 customers in each line of people waiting, and I have ice cream in my cart, off to self check out I go, and then proceed to tick some guy off because of how much I had. Not sure if this is a pandemic, people not wanting to work thing or just a Walmart thing but man, it is frustrating.
One staff person helped me find everything I was looking for in the store. She was friendly, funny, and at the same time she was professional and efficient! I cant spell her name but phoneticly sounds like kenaasha. She help me find wild bird seed, two sets of binoculars, rain suit and more. She deserves recognition for her work. I will be back.
Walmart in East Peoria is getting bad. I hate going there anymore. The people that go there must be tired of the on university st. The staff is rude and more then half the time the are out of what u want or need or they just stop carrying it. Allen rd super Walmart is the one I recommend. Yes it’s usually crowded but it’s the better one since East Peoria is going to he**Besides that menards is right across the street. Even my handicap 21 yr old daughter is scared to go in EP Walmart. Now that’s bad!Save yourself money and time and just go to Allen rd Walmart ….
Busy and crowded, associates can be somewhat rude and off putting. This is a one stop shop and has better variety and more stock than some. Other then convenience, there is no draw for me to return. For such a major retailer, you would think the would put better emphasis on customer service.Sub par at best, I honestly believe they are only still in business due to low competition and individual need.Walmart must do better..
Happy to have help. So get up to register card wouldnt work. Girls tried not allowed to punch in anymore. Took citylyft over from other side going home with nothing . Assistance manager oh well manager never responded Called store manager never and main customer 800 rude Im done
I actually like going to this Walmart. It was remodeled and rearranged about a year and a half ago and so the aisles seem wider as they used to be really cramped. The layout is better and I dont usually have trouble finding anything. All the employees Ive interacted with appear to be friendly and genuinely happy to help. The store is generally clean and Im not afraid of the bathroom.
Horrible service. If you call there. dont expect anyone to answer. I was trying to get answers about an online delivery. I called 5 times at 3 minutes a piece where the phone ran. I called electronics and he hung up. I called the deli. she got a manager and said she wasnt going to hang up and hung up on me anyway. 03/28/2021
I was going to check out in the self service checkout close to the garden area and the woman managing the self checkout told me, nope, closed, so I turned around, and I told the young couple behind me, I said, no sorry its closed, but then, after I walked all the way down to the end of the store, and I came out past that check out the young couple were doing the self checkout. Something I normally would never do, I called the store and I talked to the manager. He was very, very nice and I appreciate him listening, it was very rude of that salesperson.
Its dirty with a capital d. Horrible customer service almost as bad as the East Peoria staff who is completely worthless rude and thieves. But not one person was helpful and no one seemed to know where anything was. All in all the experience was not all that bad at least I didnt have to wait in line.
Understaffed! Needed assistance in the garden center. Walked the entire area, including floral section & found a couple others buying plants, but no employee. Left & went on inside & in craft dept again, nobody staffing it & electronic & automotive men busy with other clients so couldnt even ask them IF there WAS anyone in that department. Found item similar to what I was looking for & took my item & headed back to outside garden center for one more try. Found a young woman working the register who was able to reach my item far back on a top shelf. Friendly & quick & then got me checked out.Not my normal experience & have no idea why very few employees in the various departments especially the ones I needed. They nearly lost my business today as I was ready to leave the item Id settled on behind IF I couldnt find help in the garden center for my needed items there. I couldve instead gone across the street to another stores garden center & get all of what I needed in one place. They need to have staff available for assistance & at this time of year, youd expect more staffing in an outside garden center.Fortunately I found the young lady who did help. I did tell her that was my 2nd trip out there to try & find help & how Id searched earlier, she offered no explanation of why nobody was out there at the earlier time.
They were out of small gemstones but Mike came to help us. He was WAY too happy about little gemstones though and loved helping us but idk why. Anyway he left us and we found the gemstones on our own. Mike was cool but too happy about gemstones. He was also a veteran so no hate. Love Walmart! 😊
Walmart was horrible today I needed a mobile seat I have a bum knee walk I with a cane the only one that was available to me wasnt fully charged and I found it halfway up the aisle somewhere which soon ran out on me so with the blessing of God a young man assist me in getting a cart once the mobile seat stop running couldnt think straight didnt really get what I wanted shelves was empty of the things I needed no water except flavored water in which I dont drink lines were backed up even the self-checkout just wasnt a good day at Walmart for me will try again tomorrow somewhere else of course praying for a better day a better day ✨🦋☝️
I tried to get a passport picture but the employee in the photo department couldnt find a working camera. He suggested I try back the next day. The self-checkout gal was friendly. Leaving, the new greeter made me show my receipt and carefully studied it and my items repeatedly. He thought I was stealing a dozen eggs because he missed seeing them on the receipt.
Had a very good experience today. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Ready to assist when unable to locate items. Another customer was very helpful when I asked for his assist in loading two 32 packs of water in my cart. The not very good thing was the cashier. She loaded my reusable bags extremely heavy, she would not assist putting my items in my basket ( I use a handicapped cart), she just was not very pleasant. The gentleman that loaded my car was very pleasant, so it ended on a good note.
Most of the people R great l practically go in there everyday , an some are exceptional but the customer service line can make you really upset Ive stood up to 25 min to send money simply because one rep want to deal with one customer the whole time trying to figure things Out an have the nerve to get upset because you upset an calling for the store manager .
I went to this walmart today and It was busy and many people did not wear face cover and did not keep distance either. Many cashiers do not wear the face cover either. Walmart should not let employees work if they not wear face cover and neither people should not go in the store with not cover the face mask. we all still can get sick. we need to protect ourselves until is safe.
The store is laid out different than most of the other Walmart stores, made it difficult to navigate. Seemed to be no one around to offer assistance, the self check out had a rude lady watching but did not offer to help she sat in a chair the whole time. Not my normal Walmart experience.
There were 4/5 people in the electronic dept playing on their phones unable to help anyone. When I asked for help the guy acted like I was bothering him. Was interested in purchasing maybe 2 computers. Asked a couple questions he turned rude and I left without any computers. Now back in the automotive dept they were so helpful, friendly and I left with the battery for my car. Thank you Mel and Eric.
I like the Walmart Supercenter...my only concern is jewelry Dept is so small and you have to call someone to assist you. The worker today was Ashley with the great fingernails (she will understand). I needed a price sticker taken off of an item and she went above and beyond to assist me..cudos to the whole store in particular Ashley....
Had a variety of products, but seemed u see staffed. On a Monday youd think there would be less people there but apparently everyone had the same idea. However, there werent enough registers open and lines were backed up 3 or 4 deep. And it was hot. Hopefully this was just a one time thing. Although every time Ive been there it was crowded as hell. Great customer service though. At least with the few that helped me!
We only bought a couple of items each. As we walked toward the doors with our receipts in hand and no bags, my item would not fit in a bag and neither would my daughters. We were stopped and asked rudely I suppose you have a receipt for those items . remember we had our receipts in our hands. When we showed the receipts she said to us Im a smart slack. We do not think we will go back to Wal-Mart on Allen Rd in Peoria, IL.
Probably the best Walmart in Peoria, only downsides are that its on the far north side of town making it far away from most things, and its layout is pretty unusual (pharmacy in the center of the store) so finding things can be a little bit of a hassle since theyre all mixed up from other Walmart layouts
My grandma found what she needed in the store but I was very disappointed in 2 staff who were extremely rude in the bathroom. My grandma is 96, held together with rods and pins, and doesnt do anything very quickly... again, shes almost 100. years. old. She needed a little help and I immediately got hassled about the time it was taking her to go- ridiculous! She was still far quicker than others who were taking their sweet time blowing the place up, but I guess we were an easier target.
I went to the automotive department and asked how long is the wait for a flat tire? They laughed at me and they said they don’t know how long the wait is and there was no one in the automotive parking lot. Just me I thought it would be quick job but nope they said they could not guarantee it would be done. I would give them 0 if I could.
Went in to automotive via the garage, picked up a gallon jug of Mobil 1 and a oil filter, waited 25 before I was checked out, plus other people were getting waited on that came after me.One cashier is not enough when there is a line and techs bothering them and the phones ringing off the hook.
I normally have a decent experience here. I have been followed a couple times at this location by undercover security. I worked for Walmart almost 10 years ago so I get it... Theft does happen, but I have a one-year old so Im always in the baby section and I am there at least once a week. I do work hard and sometimes being stereotyped gets on my nerves. I dont make a fuss, I just do what I have to do and go. Havent had a major issue with this location though and its the closest one to my home so no major complaints.
If I could give 1 star, believe me...i would! First was a trip in there to cash my work check, I was late getting to the bank, so I figured while i was in there to shop, I would cash it there. The lady at the front desk told me my work check was fake! Secondly, I went in there to do Christmas shopping a few days ago, they would not accept my check! I had 3 carts full of gifts and food! I returned tonight to shop and I was stopped at the door for their doorman to scan every item I bought! I spent $1200 tonight, I felt like everyone was staring and it was very embarrassing! I will never return to Allan Rd Walmart ever again! For them to treat ppl like that is crazy! I have used checks in there quite a bit. The same lady who said my work check was fake, was the same one who denied my personal check. Im done going there!
Husband and I went to get a tire balanced in automotive. Woman who helped us was rude. We waited over an hour for them to do a short simple task. Asked how much longer and we were told it could be 40 more minutes. We were very unhappy with our service and are not planning on going back.
Warning:: Walmart banned returns - No refundI bought a Graco high chair from the store in Illinois in October 2020.It costs me $100. When I tried to return it, they are not ready to accept it as they changed their return policy in Illinois that they don’t take returns until further notice. They will say to you that keep your receipt and we will take it once we changed our policy. It’s been months after they brought their new policy and no change yet.In case if you wanna return the item , you just forget it. You lost your money !!!
I sat for three hours waiting for two tires that I brought the rims to them. I watched the one person doing the tire side wondering in and out of Walmart several times. I will never have Walmart in Peoria do my tires again. There was a guy that had waited over three hours for his two tires. He said he had been there since 8am. The man at the counter though was very polite.
Nice Wal-Mart but each time i go its too busy. Cant blame the store for that tho. Its got plenty of merchandise out and hardly any empty or out of merchandise shelfs. The employees seem helpful but often busy working. Good place to go if you dont mind the lines and people almost running you over with their scooters and carts.
On preblack Friday waited in line to check out. There were 8 people behind me and one in front of me. She informed us that she was off at midnight and wouldnt be able to check us out! I understand people should be not have to work past their scheduled hours. The problem was that she let us all stand in line for a good 15 minutes before she told us that she wouldnt be able to check us out. The line then had to move to another check out. Overall it was a horrible experience and the checkout woman was very rude!!
Updated (Jan 21) review:Walmart seems to be doing better in a lot of areas. The checkout lanes move more quickly, both staffed and self-checkout. So Im able to get in and out a lot more quickly, which was the main reason I had previously given them a two-star. My family has almost exclusively been doing curbside pickup since last spring, and its worked pretty well. Sometimes we have to wait a little over 5 minutes, but other times theyre coming out with our groceries within a couple minutes. There are items that are consistently out of stock, but overall its a great service they offer at no extra charge.Previous review:Its Walmart... I like everyday low prices, which means I go here for name-brand items. But man, do I always seem irritated when Im done. I dont know why... maybe its not being able to find quacamole packets ever or checkout taking 5 times longer than it should?! Im used to fast checkouts at Aldi, and this place only ever has 4 or 5 lanes open. That is, in addition to the self-checkouts that only have 1 associate to assist with any software malfunctions. To put it simply, this place makes me want to pay more elsewhere.
If you are expecting any help at this Walmart you wont get it. Twice I have went there to purchase ammo in sporting goods. They have one person to cover sporting goods, outdoor items and kids toys. This last time after they paged 3 times and I waited 20 minutes the girl finally said sorry they dont have enough staff. Not worth the aggravation. On a good note they have tons of ammo probably due to not being able to purchase it.
This Supercenter on Allen Rd is alright if you are going to look for something specific, or something you know you can locate online, but there are things they either dont carry, or things they regularly dont keep in stock. While I dont have any issues with this location, they need to work better on restocking high traffic items. Would have given 4 stars.
Old man door greeter at about 1pm August 19th. Not nice to customers at all. Coming back out-told me I had to take my shopping cart to the Corral in the parking lot. I am disabled. Added my cart to the other cart sitting around my parked car in handicap area. Came all the way a cross drive,to tell me. You have to take that to the Corral and put it away. Unfortunately! I didnt appreciate the way he was talking to me. I told him how I felt about the way he was treating me and other handicapped people. Told me I wasnt allowed back at his Walmart anymore. If this is the way Walmart is going to allow their employees to treat me. I will not be going back😡
I cant order online to pick up because there is very little available to order online. I have to wear a mask inside the store, even though the mandate to wear masks was found to be unconstitutional, besides that, it is very hard for me to wear a mask without making it very hard for me to breathe. If Wal-Mart would make everything in the store available to order for pickup I would do so. My experience with Wal-Mart is not even close to a good experience.I do not expect to see this posted since its not a positive rating
Ample parking. Seems like management has made effort to keep more lanes open. I like the amount of self check outs to keep it moving.Full grocery since its a superstore. Seasonal section always rotated on time.Far as Walmart goes , this is certainly more clean than many that I have been in.
The parking lot is a mess. Customers leave carts all over it instead of returning them. Employees are mostly helpful and I feel badly that they have to put up with such rude customers. Its close to my house and I would frequent more if it werent for many of the shoppers.
We have had a couple nice experiences with grocery pick up. But lately there have been too many substitutions and unavailable items. This time they said they didnt have regular bananas and provolone cheese. We had to go inside to the toy section for a birthday gift and on our way found the bananas. I hate to complain about something as small as bananas and cheese. But if youre a grocery store that has this service and you cant get common items you need to fix your system. It was convenient but now is not.
Expect to wait a very long time if you have ordered something online for in store pick up. Also expect it to be hard to even find someone to come to the desk and do it. They will blame it on the time of day and tell you that they do not have enough staff. I have done it over 5 times and picked up at different times of day. I always have the same result. We all know their reputation for those slow checkout lines as well. In my family we play the five smiles game at Walmart. That means try to find five people that are not employees that are actually smiling before you leave the store. Most likely you wont. I find it to be the most depressing shopping experience.
They have a lot, we use this store most, very big to walk, One problem is the electric carts are not available for a lot for the handicap, either get more and maybe check an ID, it is almost impossible to get one when one really needs! Prices are mostly just a few cents lower than Kroger, and a lot are more. Produce is very pricey, meat not, and is good. We keep going!
Much prefer this Wal-Mart over others in the area. Im glad i have the Wal-Mart app to help me locate items in the store as staff is not always available. I will say the pharmacy deserves 5 stars!! They are always very helpful and very friendly. The female pharmacist i spoke to the other day took extra time to help me understand my new education and the tech working with me also gave wonderful advice. This is my preferred pharmacy, always!
Took time to order ahead of time, waited until told items ready for pick up, they checked me in and several other people came and left before finally getting groceries, and several things were not available.Perhaps let customers know what is not available ahead of time & what to expect.
Pharmaceutical Dept is always helpful. (5 stars for them)There is NEVER anyone even close to the fabric section. The guy from basketballs is very good and kind.I had to call the store to get help and that didnt dont work so the pharmacy told me to go to customer service. (1 star for the lack of help) doesnt matter what day or what time I come.
The store is dirty. the employees run the other way if you have a question. i have had the deli person give me the wrong product twice in a row. i order turkey, and get ham! the wait at the deli is neverending. never enough help for customers. the bakery gals sure seem to have too much time on their hands. while waiting at the deli, i always see them standing around, laughing and carrying on. although its close to home, i will not return here.
Called to see if an item was available. Was told they were out of some but not all of that item. Asked them to make sure and was told they did have some. Proceeded to drive across town and after arriving found they had nothing and had no stock for days. Management proceeded to give the good old what do you expect us to do story. Moral to the story dont patronize Walmart, especially this one. The manager then proceeded to hide from me after I expressed my frustration with the situation.
This was the 2nd time that I had visited the automotive dept. And they had informed me that they were short handed because the same employee had called off for the second time in a row and that it will be a bit til they get to my vehicle for the tire replacement which was understandable but what I couldnt understand is this... Your short handed but yet you are still accepting new clients and now the wait is now much longer ????Go figure !!!
Went for a Keurig Coffee Maker. Out of the model I wanted, and the one on display had an old price sticker on it for $20 cheaper than the actual price. No floor help. Called the store from my cell phone and asked customer service to page someone over. Five minutes later, still no help. Called again. No one came. Went to customer service. They got someone and that person said the price sticker was wrong, sorry. Ordered it from Amazon for $10 cheaper. Very bad service, but for the pay those people are getting, its no surprise.
This location has the worst pick up service. I consistently have to wait 15+ min just for someone to come out and greet me. This past weekend I waited an hour for my order. I dont understand why they dont block out pick up times to reduce the number of people picking up at the same time
Worst shopping experience of my life today at Walmart. First stop, the restroom, looked like it hadnt been cleaned in a month. Garbage was so full it was pouring out onto the floor, toilet had poop all over it, dust was caked on everything. Next stop womens intimates where I shopped for bras. I went to the fitting room where an older man and a woman were working. After trying on the bras and returning the ones I did not want to buy I went around the corner to look at more. To my surprise I hear the man saying to the other woman that for all they know I could have taken one of the bras and been wearing it and just swapped it out for my old one. Next I hear him tell the woman not to touch the bras. I peered around the corner and the man immediately stopped talking. Next I headed to crafts and asked the young girl working there where I could find jewelry accessories only to be treated like I was bothering her. At this point I had enough so I made my way up to customer service only to find a long line and no one working. After waiting a while I decided to call the store manager. I was put on hold for 12 minutes when someone finally came only to tell me that the manager wasnt in. I realize that Walmart is a multi billion dollar industry and the opinion of one person may not matter much, but if it werent for each and every individual customer buying from your stores, there would be NO walmart!!!
Well stocked, had a huge careful of items , my daughter was setting up her new home, an associate tried to grab my cart thinking it was abandoned- I had my hands on the cart, same associate rammed a cart full of items to stock into a rack, like to have scared many customers to death...But a pleasant shopping experience - just the same--> its Walmart --> I like it unless employees are rude.
Sick and tired of EVERY single time I go there for oil change they tell me it will be 3 hours! Walmart Allen road. However when I go to Washington IL no problem get right in. Done done with the whole Walmart thing. It was 8am saw 1 car in the garage and 2 waiting outside. Saw 4 guys standing around doing nothing. Do they take 3 hours so you spend 3 hours shopping in there store? Nope not me today Walmart did not get 1 dime!
This is a standard Wal-Mart. There was not enough staff, and long lines to check out. We asked for help, and instead of getting the ladder next to her, she went to go find a associate to get the ladder and get the product. After 10 minutes and not being able to find anyone, she ended up doing it herself.
It was frustrating today. It was like someone just scattered everything all over the place as a joke and expected you to find what you needed. I was very mad, because they had Velveeta in a pack of three or you had to buy the huge one. One of the store stockers said sorry that is all there is. I will have to look somewhere else now.
Generally find everything you need but returns are PATHETIC!!!!!!! always take back cash or store credit NEVER EVER let them put it back on the card. So far they have stolen $22.50 from me this year in pending returns. One transaction pending for over 6 months!!!! If you go and inquire about the return the smart people have absolutely no clue what to say or who to direct me to!!
Got an oil change. NO other cars in bay. Explained that my tire pressure light was on so please check air. Tech DID NOT do tire check or add air. After I received my car back it took 30 minutes and talking to 3 people before they would believe me that the tire looked low. Irony or sad fact is that the customer before me got excellent customer service and was even advised her tpms lights were on. Me - who asked - not so much. I was waiting outside the car when finally Randy agreed to check. Guess what?? The drivers side was still at 28 not 36 like the passenger side. Hmm.. No apologies. Just explained that a customer cant just ask to have air put in. Who did that? I PAID for an oil change. Customer service is a no show today.

2022-06-12The bakery made a cake for my two daughters combined large birthday party. The cake tasted much better than expected and very well decorated. They definitely exceeded our expectations. And it was a very fair price for such a large cake

2022-03-22Wrong prices on clearance items. I got 3 pair of Dickies pants for my husband. One pair didnt ring and they came over to check. They were all supposed to be $5. She came and helped. Then she deleted 2 pairs and rang them up for $14..But the chick there kept standing at the end staring at me the rest of the time.... Like I did something wrong. I will not go back there...

2022-06-06Its one of the nicer Walmarts in terms of layout and amenities. However, a real big issue is that the in stock or aisle locations of items online is always wrong. Good luck trying to find staff to help you. Theyre there...they just work hard to avoid you.

2022-06-10You had very few bicycles. I was specifically looking for a 29 mens bicycle. There were none! Youre curbside service is phenomenal!

2022-06-24Mario with Walmarts Customer Claims Service Department (I believe) hung up on me when asked (as I was directed to do by in-store staff) to provide clarification of receipt coding used for Walmarts internal purposes about whether the receipt indicates conventional, synthetic blend, or full synthetic oil they added to my vehicle after recommending the (I believe) wrong oil to preserve the integrity of my engine in a 2.2L engine in a 1999 Toyota Camry.

2022-06-06Awful treatment of Walmart+ members. Orders not delivered with no communication past that they are delayed, BIZZARE substitutions, absolutely rude managers who hang up on customers.

2022-01-25I would say that this one struggles with keeping good stock. The Washington location seems to be able to keep shelves stocked at all hours better.Either way, Walmart more than likely will have what you need when you cannot find it at a local shop.I have purchased guitar strings late at night only because my local shop wasnt open. They arent the Quality, but they will have the band aid!

2022-02-27As much as anyone can expect from a well-run Walmart, this location is in a nice area and has surprisingly good clientele. As comes with the territory, they have an astounding array of affordable products from groceries to tools. I would consider this the best location in all of Peoria and Tazewell counties, having been to all of them multiple times. Their deli operates well, their parking is extensive, and their grip on the pulse of consumer-focused subduing of any qualm possibly resolved by purchase of any array of products is astounding! Truly, they have made what many consider a nightmare into an easy shopping breeze.

2022-05-15Basically all self checkout. Half are closed and other are card only. 2 lanes open on a Saturday. I remember why I order everything from Amazon.
