Alec likes to racially profile and isnt just doing his job hes overbearing and never apologizes, clearly with reading and hearing others views. Make sure you have your receipt ready because he insists on finding someone stealing for whatever benefit that gives him. Ridiculous smh
This is 1 stop shop and if you cant find something, dont hesitate and ask. I couldnt find something and one of the employees actually walked me to the aisle twice when I needed help. I wish I would of gotten her name. She said she has only worked there a year but she knew that store well!! This was the Bloomington, Illinois Wal-Mart on Saturday, April 9th in the afternoon. The mystery could be solved with all of the clues I gave you of who this was!!Bravo to this Employee Whomever 👏 🙌 you are!! ❤️ Thanks for making my shopping experience easier in this big store I havent been in for years!!
While traveling out of state, I had a screw pop loose from my glasses. I visited this location and asked for assistance. It took two staff members over a half an hour to fix the problem (apparently the screw had broken in half and part of it was still lodged in the frame), and both ladies who worked on this issue could not have been more friendly and polite, despite the task being more difficult than we all first assumed. In the end, they replaced the screw and did not even charge me for their time, effort, or supplies. I could not believe how wonderful this service was. Both these staff members working in Optical were over the top professional and polite. It could not have been a better experience. Thank you so much for your help!
My family went grocery shopping, and these people literally racially profile. Alecc is overbearing and entirely unprofessional. turns out i’m not the only one whose had a bad experience, his terrible demeanor is all over social media and has been accused of this already. This walmart needs to get it together. I returned everything purchased because i could not put a penny towards that store and more people should do the same
I found what I was looking for. Walking thru the store other than the door greeter, not one employee greeted me. Everyone had the face of having a bad day. I try to say hi but to no avail no response. The one kid at the register could not even say one word. Managers should take notice and see what is going on and how to improve
This may have had a non expiration date at the time I bought it, but it was slimy and disgustingly smelling.Had a hard time returning it due to the customer service being closed. I had literally bought it 10 min before I returned it.Were 18 wheeler drivers.The kid said he wasnt allowed to do returns. I said fine. Ill just exchange it.The other one was just as bad.Went to another Walmart later and returned it there.The only plus was we were able to park overnight.
Tried to get. Ahold of someone inside store, dont drive setting up for delivering which ihad done last spring. Waited dfferent days. Times. Calling and waiting, and waiting and waiting to talk to some oneLongest wait time .....well i gave up at 45 min.To this day 02/22 no one has ever answered the phone.....and no one reads note on my name disabled and delivery instructions?????????
Unfortunately this Walmart store is very low on staff! And the ones working there in the pickup order area are very rude! We waited 15 minutes for our order with no other cars picking up and decided to call the number and the woman that picked up was very unhappy and said we hadn’t been waiting that long and they would be out when they could. Nope we are done dealing with Walmart, and recommend going elsewhere!
I used to be able to go back to the layaway/pickup counter at the back of the store and get help from a Walmart associate within a minute or two at the most. Dont be deceived into thinking Walmart has stepped the online order pick game up. This kiosk is closed at 8pm, so I checked in for my pickup between 7:55pm-7:59pm. At 8:18pm I notified a Walmart associate that I had been waiting for about 20mins for my online pickup order and was told a guy was already working on it. At 8:40pm one of the associates who over heard me asking for assistance at 8:18pm asked if I was still waiting and Ms. Ashley noticed a manager I had been waiting and said a manager would take care of the issue and apologized for my wait and inconvenience. At 8:45pm I was helped by someone, not sure if it was a manager or not but when I told him immediatedly I had been waiting for 45mins, his response was crickets. Once he handed me my order after a minute he did apologize for my wait, but his tone wasnt very empathetic and I was already pissed because my wait wasnt initially addressed or considered as an unusual and unprofessional business transaction except from the Ms. Ashley. BEWARE!
They had no carts inside and we walked all the way across the store and the other side was empty too. My fiance had to go back out into the cold to get a cart. They never have cashiers either and the lines are always so long. I moved from a smaller town and this Walmart is sooo disappointing.
I enjoy shopping at Walmart I asked for something they directed me even when its just around the corner and you feel stupid but they smile and save if you go very polite very nice I wish I knew that guys name I would mention him so it was a very nice visit and I plan on ordering online because I dont have a car and Im hoping they could just deliver it to my house so there you go
I think this Walmart does a great job! And the mask mandated isn’t the law lady (that went crazy on here over that) and you can’t make people wear them, especially if we all got our 3 shots that’s suppose to “save us”. Walmart is following the CDC and federal laws and doing a fine job.

This is the second time that I’ve ordered and wanted my groceries delivered. The first time I waited and waited and waited with no update through email nor through the app about the delivery of my order. And on top of that they gave my order to another store without me knowing. This time my order came early. Again no update through email or the app about the arrival of my groceries. The driver dropped of my things without contacting me when I stated in the in the app about contacting me so that I could know. I’m in college and don’t have a car so when I orders at that specific time, I really need my things at that time and to also be notified. They were left in the front of my building in the rain. My drop off time was 1-2pm. But at 1:40 I got an email saying that my order was delayed and won’t get it before the time requested. Of course I wouldn’t have because it already been dropped off without me knowing. I’ve called several times to the store and they never picked up the phone. I won’t be shopping at this store in person, for pick up or delivery. Unacceptable.
Back to school and have the self checkout were closed an only two cashier. I have to say I have respect for those two. After 15 minutes or so with many customers leaving carts a items and storming off. Others came to help, managers from other dept. But way to go cashiers RESPECT!!!!
Not happy that I have to wait in the self check out line for the teenager they stuck there with no manager call and wait. Cant leave kids like that please. She was a champ and kept up a smile, but she had other customers that needed her attention. If your going to put under 21s in the self check out, or any of them, please have some sort of way to let people know they need to go to a register with someone who can check ID. The staff is doing the best they can with where they are and what they have, but yeah man. I am not getting that hour back. I have left things before because instead of paying people and being a good company, they stretch the floor so thin they have to call from other departments. Im ranting I know they wont see this, but if youre buying alcohol and you dont have an extra hour to kill, save yourself the time and tears and check out at the cigarette line so you know for sure they have the ability to ring you out. *rant over*
This review is just in regards to the customer service/money center only. Normally we have a decent experience in the store. I stopped in to send money, there was 2 lines when I was there last weekend 4/17/21 1 of the lines was being attended by the manager. This specific time there was 3 or 4 people in front of me and it was my turn the manager sent 2 people from her line over the line I was in, they went in front because she said, apparently her computer would not allow her to do any money transfers. I don’t believe that gives her the right to send people in front of other customers. That was very rude and extremely unprofessional, she should not be in a leadership position with that attitude towards customer.
Cant give any stars... Every lane backed up to merchandise, clothing laying on floor multiple aisles, whole store in disarray really... Its beyond me how the place isnt shut down by corporate entire management (rather mismanagement) isnt held accountable. We live a 4 minute drive away but go to the Normal location 99% of the time... We had 5 items & waited in line 17 minutes.InexcusableOverall grade of store F
There are NEVER enough electric carts for the amount of people in the store. 50% of the carts that they do have are always broken when we go. The other half of the carts are always checked out/in use. On top of that, theyre always out of the products that my family needs the most. Poorly executed Walmart management. Poorly executed.
This Walmart in Ottawa IL.was clean,well kept and had pleasant check out people.The selections in the produce section were what you would expect and nothing more.If I were management I would take a 20 minute trip along Highway 80 to Morris IL.and Learn something, its all about the produce selections in my opinion.
I was skeptical at first, going grocery shopping at Walmart. After all, Walmart is not known for their high quality products. But I went, and I sure am glad I did. They have a huge selection of products that is always well-stacked. The store is clean and well lit. The produce is always high quality and the bakery has some of the best breads I have had. I still prefer getting my meat elsewhere, but with everything from sporting goods to casual clothing to high quality food. The Lake Zurich Walmart is my store of choice.
Well stocked and organized. I looked at a few bicycles that are normally out of stock at other locations. Which was a plus to help me determine which unit fits me the best.The associate at the Tire and Lube Center was quick to acknowledge me while helping another guest.Overall experience was much better than many other Walmart locations I have visited.
Visited 2225 W Market St, Bloomington, IL 61705 Walmart center to buy the basket ball hoop that I checked from Walmart.com. But observed that the online website store price and actual store price is different. So tried to get hold of a Walmart associate to check the price. It took for awhile for him to check the details and he acknowledged that price difference and called his manager. But manager was not available and a team lead came and told that she dont honor Walmart online store prices. I told her to recheck. She was adamant and repeated that she wont honor walmart.com online store prices. Her name is Karmen, she is the team lead. I recorded this conversation and filed a complaint to Walmart.I had good opinion on Walmart brand but it seems it is diminishing because of associates like Karmen.
Not as big as the other one nearby. The toy section was nearly empty. Lots of school supplies. Employee assistance is a little sparse as it is these days, lots of self checkout available I dont like self-checkout.They now have a Claires boutique there which sells like little girls costume jewelry things like that.
Management needs to walk out on floor every hour or so to ensure enough cashiers are open. Having lines that are more than 40 customer deep with only 4 registers open is just not acceptable. My experience on this day is; this is the most poorly managed store I have ever shopped at from any chain. I feel sorry for the locals that have to visit this this store regularly.
The girl in electronic was rude. She made a eye raising face and Asked if we was sure i wanted to buy the game i bought. Said she doubted it would even work in our ps5. We did the research and i told her that before her comment. We shop this walmart all the time for groceries and love it. But she was rude. She even turned her back on us to read the back of the game.. like she was going to find a reason for me not to buyI said thank you and purchased the game. It worked just fine just like our resources said.
This store has the WORST customer service of any place i have ever shopped. at the customer service area, there is NEVER more than one person actually working although there is always at least 2 -3 employees including managers standing and walking around. at one time i asked a manager to help me and was told no she couldnt help, that the other person working is on break. NOT MY PROBLEM! Take care of your customers! the last straw was going to pick up my pick up order only to find over 20 cars waiting in the pick up lot waiting for their pickup orders! i sat for 15 minutes and saw one order delivered to a car. I called the 1-800 number and told them the situation; they called the store. they came back on and told me that no one answered the phone. i told them that i was not surprised because they NEVER answer their phone! I had them cancel my order and refund my money. Before i was even out of the parking lot i got an email saying that my order had been cancelled as had all those other peoples due to high demand, slot availability and staffing. again I feel that any decent management would have handled this situation and got it under control for the families that were waiting out there for their needed food. a real manager would have gathered up every single available staff member and made heros out of them all by getting the job done for the customers who have made them rich throughout this pandemic. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE STATE.
This particular trip I visited for both household essentials and a pharmacy drop off/pickup. To start with the pharmacy I particularly enjoyed this visit because the staff was both friendly and very informative. Putting in my prescription the gentleman advised me of exactly when to come so that I wouldnt have to wait until after lunch. It wasnt quite ready when I picked it up but they made every effort even though they would be closing in 5 mins to get it done all while being helpful and kind. As for my essential shopping you could see employees making every effort to stock the shelves while trying to stay out of the way of everyday shoppers. The lady whom checked me out even made the effort to let me know her lane was open so I could get checked out quickly. This is my every shopping trip Walmart so I am here often and Im glad to say I have a pretty good experience anytime I shop here.
Went for a pickup order and ended up waiting almost an hour for my order after calling in and checking in on the app. Severely disappointed and Will not be coming back. I use pickup for the convience not to let my car idle for an hour while everyone who checked in after me gets service.
I didnt enjoy my trip to the supercenter. I had a hard time finding things. I live in St. Louis and our stores are arranged differently. You were out of two items I wanted.The guy bagging my stuff almost left a bag on the carousel.I live to far away to come back to get it.
I bought part moss and soil from outside. They did not have a price for it inside. It is big place and they had me walking from check out to gardening 2 many times. Neither knew what to do. Finally a I asked for a manager and she fixed it for me. Ended up paying 2.00 more then I should have..
I picked up from W. Market St. In Bloomington again today, after a previous problem a month ago. After my complaint last time to Carter, I needed a few last minute items and ordered curbside pickup for this morning. The lady that brought out my order was one of the same from last time my pound cake was opened and smashed and. Will not use Market Street pickup again
Went to get my oil changed and buy groceries. Stood for 15-20 minutes waiting to be acknowledged. Only one car in the ACC., finally the second tech told me I needed to be taken care of inside. Mind you, 4 different associates had already walked by me without a hi-bye or...inside was not much better. Your only redeeming quality was the cashier. Wish I had gotten her name.
They do not answer the phone. When anyone would pick up, they would immediately hang up, regardless of department called or the customer service line. The one time I got through, before I could say anything - I was greeted with you can do anything online that youre calling for and hung up. 0/5, poor job Walmart. Will use Meijer exclusively now.
Went to cash a check at the service desk. The dude was counting $20 by ones and my check was Suppose to be $500 it was short $40, I had to walk back and complain. I tried to get a manager but they refuse to bring one up.. saying they dont need a manager for this. Then once I confronted the guy he started to get loud and confrontational with my husband. He kept blaming us for not RECOUNTING THE MONEY OURSELVES. And wouldnt walk away. In the end it took another 30 minutes to get everything fixed and never once did anyone apologize. If you are going to have people handling money all day and making transactions you should be able to count money accurately and confidently. Never will go back because of that. Stick with currency exchange or Krogers.
Today I was at Walmart in the pick up area with my 4 small children and I ordered 10 items but only 5 of them were available I talk to the manager of the pick up and they said there was nothing that I could do and that I should talk to corporate and complain the manager of the store that was on duty this evening sent me back to the manager from the pick up area who now says he can help 20 min after he said there was nothing he could do. at this time Ive already left the store some of the things that I needed to pick up were bananas and watermelon and were told to me were in the store. I dont understand the process and I will not be going back I did talk to corporate and they apparently will not give any kind of vouchers during the pandemic this store is awful do not use it. Just trying to keep me family safe.
I had never done pickup before, and I got there pretty late. I asked a customer service person if it was too late, and she said yes. I was disappointed and she could tell. She asked if it was just one item, and I said yes. She had a guy help me with the machine, and when it wasnt there...he went to the pickup storage and got it. I was extremely happy...thank you!
Consistently have issues with pick up at this store. Just sat for over an hour. Called into the store to have my call disconnected. I dont know how two different Walmart in the same community can provide such different service. I will drive to the Walmart on the other side of town if I return at all.
The redeeming qualities of this place is the friendly employee that works in the deli, hes always polite and helpful. When I visit the deli, I see other employees of the Deli just standing there doing nothing and its quite irritating. The food is fresh and not out of date, so theres that. Shopping there can be a good experience except for when I hear employees being talked down to.
This store has had a lot of recent improvements! A couple of years ago I would have given it 2-3 stars It is clean and the layout is nice. They got new tires on their carts which helps customers have a quiet, pleasant experience. I have noticed more employees stocking during the day and they greet you and ask if they can help find items. The shelves are better stocked and look neat. I have seen management walking around guiding them, too. The cashiers seem friendlier and more like they are enjoying their jobs. Soooo much better!!!
My mother tells everyone shes vegan, but I think she bought a bag of pretzel chips here one time. She ate them in the car, and shared them with me. They tasted like deceit. Deceit and hummus. Because I was dipping them in hummus. I have literally no memory of any time Ive spent shopping inside Walmart. I just know I have whenever I find myself standing in my dining room, sweating and surrounded by dozens of crinkly grey plastic bags. I told my mom she should practice what she preaches, but she just sort of laughed with a tsk. She thinks me naive. Thats when I learned how dishonest this world truly is. So yeah, I suspect most if not all Great Value products contain some sort of amnestic chemical compound with which theyre able wipe short-term memory. You really cant beat those everyday low prices, though.
Awful experience everytime I go in there! I have stage IV cancer. There are never any electric carts to rid in. I had several people stop me to ask if I was ok. I was about to pass out and didnt look well. If there is a electric cart (almost never happens) available its in the other side of the store and Im told to go get it. If I could walk that far, I wouldnt need it! Ive also asked for help out to my car with my groceries and I get snapped at with I dont even have anyone available to get the carts from the parking lot to also help you to your car! I will drive to Lincoln walmart rather to ever return to the west Bloomington walmart!!!! Horrible service! Horrible store!!
Asked for help finding an item and the employee was extremely helpful and walked me to the item. My biggest complaint are that most of the cashiers are moving in slow motion. I expect that when I am in the “Speedy line” 20 items or less the cashier should respect my time and me (and all the other people in line). I give the wonderful person that helped me 5 stars and the cashier in the Speedy line one star. I too work in retail and my guest would be screaming if we moved that slow.
Lots of 18-23 year olds with masks not covering nose or not worn properly. No employees asking them to comply. No enforcement of using aisle arrows, and watched Walmart employees going wrong direction as well. 6ft apart is a joke at both Bloomington and Normal stores.
I went at about 3:00 on a Wednesday Afternoon to the self checkout. While I was there the cashier choose to only focus on me (Black Male) while there were about 8 other people checking out. She then called her manager and stated that I was shoplifting and she checked my receipt and noticed I wasnt. I then asked to speak to the store manager who wasnt there and the assistant customer service manager Debbie. When I asked why was I the only person she focused on she could only say that she was doing her job. When I asked why did she think I was shoplifting, she couldnt give a response only stating she was doing her job. Not only will I not be going beck because I was racially profiled I will not spend my money in this store anymore.
I am disabled and need a cart in order to do my shopping. There was 1 working cart for the entire store! This is unacceptable considering the amount of money they bring in per day!! Im going to file a complaint along with another disabled friend of mine. I wont be back!!!
When I hear that a Walmart store manager will have you arrested for not wearing a mask , thats going to far. It is not a Law that you have to wear one. The store cannot make you wear one.Its posted on Rt 55 to do 70 MPH so does everyone do 70 MPH NO , yes its a law but whos out there to enforce the rules, NO ONE. STOP BEING LIKE A DEMOCRAT.
I just bought a video game for my daughters birthday and when she opened it there was a cardboard piece wrapped in electrical tape in place of the game. But because we took plastic off they said they couldn’t do anything and told me to call Nintendo and hung up on me. The worst and shadiest place to shop!
Definitely have to give a shout out to the auto center for diagnosing my slow leaking tire. They found the leak, a minute pinhole on the sidewall, and were efficient, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with from the moment I showed up. Keep up the pride in workmanship! You guys rock!
This store is always clean and the staff is friendly and willing to help! I don’t have anything bad to say about any of the departments. On top of that, the shelves are always stocked with everything I need unlike some other Walmart’s I’ve been to. One issue I have is that there are a ton of lanes, but very few open - even at busy times. There’s always just workers standing around when they could just open a register real quick to get things moving along.
Great store, I ran in to pick up a few things. Store is set up different than the one Im used to in SC. Asked an employee, Maurice, for assistance and he was so friendly and willing to walk me to the item I requested before he was called to another task. Store was clean, neat and organized.
I used the curbside service on Market St. Pull up to the west side north of the grocery pickup. Call the phone number on the sign and give them your info. They bring your scripts out to you. It took quite awhile for them to bring them but I was good bc I didnt have to walk into that store. I dont appreciate much about Walmart made in China. If I never walked into any of their stores again it would be way to soon so this setup is perfect for me!
Found everything quickly. It was clean, and looked like shelves were stocked. Got a deal on Gatorade. The down size, one one cashier. I didnt have to wait very long at all. She was very efficient. I dont think its fair to her that, the other person wasnt at her station, or late (get somebody else to step in). I shop here a lot.
I was at Walmart tonight to pick up 5 needed items. Wal-Mart must do better for social distancing. I have diabetes and COPD. I had to actually tell two families to stop coming toward me because I am sick. Aisles need to be one way only, team members need to guide traffic, and there needs to be more signs and announcements. I won’t be back until this mess clears up.it us not safe for customers or associates. On another note I do truly appreciate all the hard work associates and management are doing to keep items stocked and to keep the store clean.
This Walmart actually yelled at me for taking a picture of the store. Not happy at all. No wonder the rating is so low! Never enough cashiers, so the self checkout is extremely busy. Floors were dirty. I could tell there was a real lack of pride in the store. In the bathroom where they have the sign saying the manager name and numbers, the stickers were torn off so you could not read it. Shameful!
Deli service is rude, slow, inattentive. Ive worked in busier delis so I know I shouldnt have to flag an employee whos working the counter down for support after 5+ minutes of waiting on a slow day for acknowledgement just for her to chide me for having not gotten the attention of an employee who was focused on an order that someone had called in in advance (the man focused on the order was fine, to be clear) . Staff should also be told to set out spoons for salads as soon as is possible as Ive had to wait for them to do what they should have already done first thing in the morning every time Ive visited.
I find going here a great place to find all the things I am looking for and the employees very helpful. I have had a couple of times that they were out out of what I needed. The Walmart I go to is a good place to pick up already made foods for 1 person or a family reunion at prices that will not brake the bank, or have a cake made and custom decorated for birthday or other event. My Walmart also has a vehicle Repair Garage with a knowledgeable staff working here. All in all it is a great store having a huge selection of everything from food to gardening. It could stand to have more handicap parking for the disabled, but this is about the only thing I can think of that could be improved.
This store participates in the grocery pick-up program, so it is my absolute favorite! I cant say much about the employees inside the building, but the ones that work the grocery pickup are the best! You really picked the cream of the crop for this particular stores team dynamic, each as wonderful as the last!
Everyone is always helpful, friendly and go above and beyond the norm of customer service! I appreciate their dedication to make everyone’s shopping experience exceptional. Been shopping here for many years and I personally feel there is no better store to get everything I need and then some. Thank you for putting us, your customers first! My favorite place to shop!
Staff is really friendly . Store isnt as big as I thought it would be. I needed to go in there and find it shirt cuz the one I was wearing was really a mess while I was waiting on some tire service next door. I was able to find a really pretty decent shirt for five bucks so Im really happy about that.
I usually go to this Walmart but am forced to stop, as most of the employees are either not wearing their masks properly or sometimes not wearing masks at all, and are not enforcing that customers wear masks. They are creating a huge health hazard and I cannot recommend going to this Walmart anymore. Please stay away.
I almost hesitate to write this review because then many of the reasons I like this particular Walmart will become void. This particular store is a pleasant place to do my shopping, its never crowded, its organized most similar to the new standard layout, the staff is helpful most of the time & its easy to access from the interstate. However, on a recent visit, the produce shelves were nearly empty & all of the produce bag dispensers were empty...had to find an employee to get a couple of produce bags. On a positive note, the gals I have interacted with in the deli have been great & they have a good selection of ready to eat foods.
Youre on your own to find what you need. Only one door open apsolute pain when you need something at the far end of the store. Never enough cashiers. Want you to use the self checkout and dont even give you a discount for doing it. Just another way for greedy billionaires to make more money. Should be ashamed of themselves. Cant find any American products. All Chinese junk.
This Walmart location is nice because of the layout. Everything is in stock at any given time for the most part. The only problem is like most other Walmarts.. there are 20 lanes with roughly 1 cashier and 3 managers standing there doing nothing to help flow. Parking is good and restrooms are clean.
Its your typical Walmart. The store was very clean and organized. However, I went at 7:30pm on a Friday and they were out of a ton of grocery items. Stocking was going on then so apparently thats a terrible time to go. Usually, I prefer this store as the stock is better and the store is friendly and less crazy than the other Walmart in town.
This is a pretty good Walmart! Ive actually never been to one that had so few people in it (when it wasnt 3am or something). There were some aisles that were barely stocked, and some of the employees cared more about gossip than helping customers.. but all in all it is one of the better Walmarts. I was there between 6 and 7pm on a Sunday.
After deciding to stop at Walmart for convenience on the way home for a headlight change, I found myself waiting for over an hour with still no installation. After three promises that “it will be done soon”, “you’re up next” “you’ll be out of here by 6:00”, I was able to walk out at 6:45.... an almost 2 hour headlight change. If it’s going to take that long just be honest with your customers and let us know. We just had an incident at this wal mart where a bag was left behind and went back to the register where the cashier told us she didn’t have one, talked to customer service who looked for it and then told us the cashier said we didn’t leave anything behind so we had to go around the store and get the $50+ worth of merchandise that was lost. Thankfully they aren’t making us pay again, but they didn’t hesitate to say it wasn’t their fault. We were treated poorly by all staff involved.
Went to pick up my layaway and it was busy!!I was able to get the womans name whos kindness gave me chills. Her name is Robin. Wonderful,caring,outstanding service!! Even with a long line she took time to wrap up a Christmas gift for a woman because the kids were there. She kept a smile and a kind voice thru it all!!!! No matter how busy or what was needed...she stayed focused and remained happy!!! Refreshing on every level!!!! Thank you ROBIN!!!
Most of the staff is nice and helpful. Signage in some sections could be more clear. Also, my son and I collect diecast cars and the Hot Wheels section was completely trashed. Im sure its mostly due to customers, but it was a bit out of hand. Grocery section was great though.
Im only ever at this store after usual business hours. its better now that the self-checkout lines are open all the time. the single checkout line used to be my biggest peeve. i still avoid buying produce or meat here. bolts or light bulbs or diapers at 2 in the morning though? this place has it 24 hours, which is huge for me.
This Walmart is putting their employees and customers in danger of contracting covid-19!!Signage that masks are mandatory..But they refuse to enforce this.They care more about a buck than this community.Jewel osco IS enforcing the rules. Perhaps we should all be shopping there instead
The store was packed. There were no less than seven people in each line, including the 6 self check registers. Of course there were only two regular lines open. Friday night. Idiocy. Stop letting the computer do the scheduling or get better computer programmers to write a better program. I will NOT use a self check line. Im getting paid by Walmart and I refuse to take someone job from them.
Dont scan anything at self check outs they will accuse you of trying to steal what your scanning while you are scanning your items never going back been shopping there for a few years and now this common sense should tell them cant pay till done scanning and im sure the cop right next to me would have said something or arrested me if that were the case not ask the accuser what there problem is that there was no wrong doing
I go to Walmart at least once a week, usually more. They have everything you need for every room in your house. The employees are always so sweet and helpful. I love shopping there. I will continue to shop there and online. I won a prize today. I was so shocked and very HAPPY. Thank you!
The store has a great selection of both food and other products. We can usually park pretty close to one of the entrances. We had to wait longer than preferred to check out. They have a gas station here that rarely is the cheapest in the area, but its normally within a nickel of other stations.
I stopped shopping at Walmart in Normal due to a racial comment being said to my friend which no one did anything about so I started going to Walmart in Bloomington. I went to the money center to get a check cashed and do other various things, when I got to the cashier she was talking to her coworker about another customer so I politely said hi, she completely ignored me so I said all righty then and became rude myself. Theres no excuse for the things that go on at Walmart by the employees, the so called management is a joke, when there are only 5 lanes open and all have 10+ people waiting you will see management standing around somewhere talking with each other and laughing. I understand I shouldnt have high expectations of Walmart but Im a paying customer who doesnt wear pajamas to shop and try to be polite to everyone working there and I deserve to be treated like a paying customer, if you cant work with people or you dont want to work hell quit your job, dont take your pathetic life out on customers who pay your salary. And get management in these stores who can manage. Also discrimination is absolutely in no circumstances ok but even the top people at corporate dont care, pretty sad!

2022-06-05We get most of our grocery and electronics needs here. The store usually has most of what we need. Some of the additional options are automotive, shoes and clothes, greeting and gift cards, cleaning supplies, vitamins, paint and household supplies and much more. They have a well stocked pharmacy, with a courteous, knowledgeable staff. Plenty of parking and a gas station next to the parking lot.

2022-05-30Worst customer service experience,I went to Walmart around 10:30pm around Sunday, I shopped and went to the counter just 5 min late before closing time (11pm), it was my mom’s birthday and I had planned to buy a cake and surprise her .the customer representative was closing the counter in front of me and I have requested to but just the cake as I really wanted it to surprise my mom, I know it was closing time but requested her, she rigidly refused to reopen the counter, me and friend requested for almost 5 min asked even another customer person standing but no one helped. Frankly, if a customer is allowed inside the shopping store , they should serve the customer until she leaves the premises even when it’s closing time instead of refusing her to serve as it was only 5 minutes late before the closing time and it is the customer people responsibility to make sure they are no one still shopping during the closing time and make sure the customer is served even after the closing time as the customer have put there time and effort to step into the store before closing time and try to purchase anything highly important product or some valuable thing for there loved once .

2022-06-02There is no customer service here! I called 15 times in the middle of the day then ended up driving the 15 miles back to the store only to find customer service CLOSED AT 4PM! The manager who was standing right there dona nothing to help although she was supposed to be the manager! She made a much better cashier. The lady in the deli had the i.q of a monkey and when you go to pay for your stuff you better price check EVERYTHING! The price your charged is often more than the marked price. This store just plain sucks!!

2022-06-27Employees are indifferent towards customers, but thats better than unkind! Store was just reorganized again, more poorly than before. Prices are still fine, mostly. Watch out for other customers though! Theyre grumpy and unforgiving!

2022-06-06I dont do a whole lot of reviews but but after an emergency late-night visit, i had to share my experience. As we all know, walmart employees are sterotypically cast as being unfriendly, unhelpful and sometimes rude, due to their misery on the job. Tonight, there were some renovations going on in the store, but it was not at all an inconvenience, and the construction crew was friendly and polite.I couldnt find the right size doggy diapers, as the shelf was empty. Normally, i would just leave without the itme i needed, but tonight I saw a worker stocking the shelves and decided to ask him if they had any more in the back. He was very courteous and seemed happy to go look in the back for me. He was successful and wished me a pleasant night.Finally, even the cashier at the self checkout was friendly, polite and smiley! Overall, I have to say, this was the nicest experience Ive had at ANY store, since covid began! The reputation of Walmart employees attitudes was definitely not accurate tonight - it was a wonderful visit!Thanks to the workers who made this an above-average trip!

2022-06-21Was very busy! Out of the entire parking lot there was not a single empty parking space the other day. It was on the weekend but Ive never seen a Walmart as busy as this. The employees were not very helpful either as I had to ask three different people before one of them helped me find what I was looking for.

2022-06-15For a Wal-Mart, it was a good visit. Easily found an associate to help me find my items right away. Hate that self check outs are pretty much the only option at any Wal-Mart anymore. For that reason I wont give a Wal-Mart better than 3 stars.

2022-07-02They have the store so screwed up and rearranged during their remodel. A half hour trip ended up taking me 2 hours and I gave up on getting groceries. I was so frustrated by the time I got my other items(some of which I skipped and will get on Amazon) that I just wanted to leave!
