The recent renovations have been a real headache and the cart return for the store is lackluster to say the least. I dont mind going to get a cart but when I have three children with me and all of the carts with multiple child seats were left out in the rain it can become a major headache.
Always positive people caring foe our needs, whether its behind the customer service desk, check out, or getting orders ready for those who prefer to have it brought out to their car. Excellent, Awesome job you all do, I Appreciate it, you are essential workers, where would we get all we need to live our daily lives without those who show up to work extremely long hours, if not foe you!!!
Understaffed to handle grocery pickup. Understand situations happen but the app notifies the order is ready for pickup however due to the delay it could not be fulfilled in a timely manner. I waited 1 1/2 hours with no end in site. The app should alert of these kinds of situations and offer options. Customer service went to voicemail. I ended up contacting the corporate support to issue my refund. Waste of time and was a hastle.
If you have a chip in your shoulder about your race and have a sense of entitlement, then this store is for you.I have a feeling since the pandemic many have migrated from Chicago, the area itself is becoming a refugee for many.Robbing all the time, isles are disorganized, the words excuse me, have a nice day, am sorry does not come out of their mouth, including employees, who shop and live amongst us at this store.I have passed by employees who are high on cloud 9, they come out of lunch break thorugh the double doors and if you are nearby will hit you and not even apologize. The restrooms are filthy.You stop any employee and give you this look, Why me? while looking at their phones, and takes them two minutes to process an answer with a mmh, well, let me check. They take off to never be seen again.AND I highly advice you to be vigilant in the parking lot, dont count on security to protect you. My daughter almost got robbed even after reporting suspicious activity in the area.What do you expect? Cheap prices, minimum wage pay, every other customer uses EBT...
I like shopping at this place because I love the store prices. At Schnucks Grocery store prairie farms butter is 5.00 +. & Land of Lakes Butter is 4.39+ . But at Walmart both brands are 3.50 + . Variety of inexpensive lunch meat which unfortunately was sold out. Im still trying to layout the store makeover to find items which takes me longer in the store but overall I like the finds. The cashier Travion was really fast and polite
This is the only Walmart I’ll go to. It’s clean, organized, people (including other customers) aren’t rude. Very easy to reach by bike or public transportation. I live in Saint Louis but choose this one over Maplewood Commons. Staff doesn’t pester customers but are present if there’s a need for them.I carry a large backpack when shopping because I ride a bike. This means most places I visit have people follow me around like I’m going to steal everything on the shelf. Not at this Walmart! I appreciate the peace and not getting profiled.
I purchased a costume in a hurry a few days before Halloween. When I got it home it had been packaged wrong and was the incorrect size. When I went to return it the customer service counter was rude and unhelpful to put it nicely. I was sold an item that was not what I thought I was purchasing aka fraudulently sold. I paid for one size but within the packaging it was another size. They refused to return the item even for store credit. No one would get me a higher up manager so I called corporate. Corporate agreed with me that it needed to be reconciled by returning the item. They assured me the store manager would call me within a couple of days. It has been three weeks and I’m still out from what I am owed. I’ll be calling corporate again. I’m not sure what part of this process the ball was dropped but it should be picked back up and resolved. What a joke. This multi billion dollar corporation can’t own up to the oops of false packaging and return a $15 costume for a single mother who had to buy another costume that was the right size?! WHAT A JOKE!
Very big store that has probably anything you could possibly need from clothes, toys, furniture to auto parts and basic necessities. They employees are mostly nice and will help you find what you are looking for! Good prices especially when you find what youre looking for and its on sale! Great place for your 1 stop shop needs!
Okay so the lines were long, I mean each checkout lane had a minimum of 5 people and there was only 3 lanes open of which 2 where training so moving extremely slow. I understand that these sorts of things need to happen from the to time, but come on managers, there are a lot better times to train than on an extremely busy Saturday. I see and hear more and more people starting to shop at dollar stores. The management quality has certainly taken a turn for the worse. Store seems to be more friendly to both customers and employees, allowing family to spend some time with family on holidays instead of working. What one likes to see, improvement. We should all aim to be better both professionally, and personally.
Sitting in order pick for longer than 30mins now. Tried to check in on the app but it wouldnt work. Had to call 4 times to get through to the number on the sign. I wanted to have the item shipped but it didnt allow me that option. I have a sprained ankle so going inside to pick up my item isnt exactly a great option for me. I will never do order pick up again at walmart. If this wasnt a Christmas present for my niece I would have canceled this order.
Listen, considering the lack of employees and shortened hours I cant in good conscience say this is a bad Walmart there are going to be complaints no matter what. My ONLY complaint is that for some reason. No matter what day or time I go in the store, I will easily say 90%, the workers are overwhelmed and outnumbered. It shows when its later in the day and you hear them talk amongst themselves. Please everyone be as respectful and patient as you would want them to be. Thats all.
The old lady in self checkout at night is lazy. I tried buying the guardians of the galaxy game from the leftover black Friday deals, the game had a purple $25 sticker but it rang up $50. We told her it was on the black Friday display and we were going to show her the price of the item on the app was $25. She said her phone wasnt working and she wouldnt look at customers phones claimed that people can manipulate the price. Like if I could manipulate the price everything in my cart would be 10 cents. Anyway I should have asked for her manager and I went to the back of the store and an employee that wasnt even on the clock helped me get the deal anyway someone should really tell her about how to do her job.
What can one say about Walmart.. if you go in the middle of the night you will see the infamous People of Walmart if you go during the day after 5:30 youll see the people that just want to get in and get out. They have 20ish register lanes but for some reason only 3 are available.
This store have bad customer service I ordered a tv and it supposed to get delivered to Tuesday and they given me the run around and it was supposed to come today and never came and I called and talked to mike and he hung up on me several time and they never answer the phone I will not shop at this Walmart
They had everything I wanted that day and the store was clean. Only problem I had was there were at least 5 people in each of the 4 registers open while the self checkout was all used with a line of 20 people waiting. Seems silly to have people get frustrated waiting to be checked out because of NOT opening another register. I hate the self check out, I do not work for Walmart and should not have to check myself out. I understand the self checkout could be for 10 items or less, but not for a full cart. Stupid.
Literally no carts, then my wife has a hard time walking due to multiple surgeries and each time we have been to walmart there is no buggy. The one time there was it died within a short amt of time and tried to tell a employee who says very rudely maybe you should have checked the battery first. Which of course I had and it was fine.
Ive never been treated so rudely by a manager. I shop at several Walmart stores in the area and I ALWAYS hate coming to this particular store. The store had mispriced an item and refused to honor the price shown. So this time I decided that I would not keep giving them my money. No matter how much you spend these employees dont care. I spent $170 in 2 different Walmart stores just today. I RETURNED IT ALL! This is the first time I actually called corporate. And somehow I feel like nothing will be resolved. I will pay more and go to Target before I give Walmart another dime. Its not about the savings its the principle!
Customer service experience was very poor cashier at the self check out needs to be written up for poor attitude and way talks to Customer .She needs we wake up and look around that store is not the only one are business that is short staff .just amazes me how other walmarts can be short handed and still get Customers in and out and have good customer service not ugly attitudes.
Placed a pick-up order. Checked my items and found my order incomplete. Had to go inside store to customer service and wait in the return line for assistance. The cashier didnt know what to do with my situation and asked what I would like them to do.I suggested getting someone over to correct and complete my order. Then was asked to step to the side after they called for a pick-up associate.I asked to speak to a manager. Waited approximately 20 minutes for them to arrive and make excessive excuses about why what had happened occurred.Manager finally went to retrieve what was available and charge for the items because I hadnt been charged for the items.Second time using pick-up services at this location, second time getting it wrong ( which is why I knew to check my order before leaving ).These experiences defeat the convenience and social distancing theory.Better to shop for yourself if youre going to end up in the store anyway. At least you have a better chance of completing your list and getting EVERYTHING you need.
This time was a let down. I bought a mattress that was sitting with the other mattresses of the same size above a sticker that read $199.00 but upon checking out it went to $279.00. When I went back and took a picture of the mattresses and sticker I was basically told thats tough luck. I normally dont have any problems but this one get under my skin. I feel like things should be properly labeled.
We ordered and paid for mickey and minnie cup cakes with two smash cakes to find out they werent made. There are 3 people working on cakes and couldnt make ours? Thank goodness they are refunding us and gave us a gift card for somewhere else, but now we cant have the themed cake. Will never order bakery there ever again. Thank you bakery.
Going to Walmart sucks. This particular Walmart has found a way to make it more painful. They NEVER have an adequate number of registers open leading to LONG lines and painful wait times. Lines regularly have more than 8 people waiting. This could be a unicorn good store, but pure mismanagement brings it down with the rest.
Can’t get service from this store unless you pay 20.00 for delivery . Try to order pick up you’ll NEVER get it . They don’t keep their inventory stocked , they don’t answer their phones and if you’re WHITE GOOD LUCK RACIST STORE . I travel an hour away just to get groceries . This entire area is DISGUSTING .
My wife and family did an online pick up order scheduled to pick up between 5pm and 6pm on Feb 21st, 2021. We arrived at 5:35pm. We waited and observed for about 20min and what we saw was one worker coming and going delivering the pick up orders to cars that were waiting. There are 16 pick up slots and all were full. We were waiting along with 4 other vehicles in the parking lot next door. In the course of that 20min, only 3 cars were served. It took 35 minutes for us to get into one of the 16 pick up slots. Once there we waited another 35min before our order was brought out. In the mean time I called the store to make them aware of the back up problem. My first call wasn’t answered. I let it ring for 8min. My second call was answered by the electronic department after a few minutes. I explained the issue to them, and they said they would transfer me to management. What happened then was the associate sat the phone down....and I heard the associates talking to each other for a few minutes. Then one of them pick up the phone and hung it up. My third attempt at calling was received after 4minutes of ringing and then once again I explained the issue of the on line pick up being understaffed and taking forever. The associate said they are short staffed on Sundays and that she was sorry, and hung up. Our food was brought to us at 6:34pm. One minute shy of an hour. I would highly recommend NOT using this store for online pick up. The parking lot is not set up to accommodate more than 16 cars waiting for their orders, our order took 1 hour to be brought to us, and when calling to inform the store of the issue, the customer service was horrible.
I suppose Im starting to miss express check out lines where I dont check myself out. Also, there were limited Ill options on large, spreadable butter. And, ice cream was unsightly with frozen ice hanging off containers. I realize such a large operation can be a challenge, so I still rank them high on overall performance.
My experience lately with this Walmart has improved greatly. I had a terrible experience a number of times in a row & stopped using this location. But I decided after a couple of months to risk trying their grocery pick up service again & have been really pleased with the improved service! Thank you.
I went in for 2yrds of fabric and stood at the counter while not 1, not 2 but 4 employees walked past me without any offer of assistance to contact someone. Even if they didnt know how to do it. I then walked over to electronics and waited patiently for the associate to finish with his current customers to request a page for someone. He obliged me and thus I went back to the counter to wait yet another 10 minutes 😒. I then spot a young man Kyle walking by, asked if he knew someone who could assist me and he said that he could. He did and Im grateful. He saved you all enough to receive the 1 star.
I went to 3 different department. 1) customer service to return an on line purchase. She complained that it was her lunch time and someone needs to relieve her. 2) I cashed in my change through the machine in customer service and then went to a cashier. I tried making conversation with her but she just ignored me and said nothing. Then I went shopping, when cashing out she was the most helpful nicest person in that store. Her name was Keeyum. Yes thats how you spell it. She brought my experience from a 1 star to a 4 star. If if werent for the other two employees it would have been a 5 star.
Thank you to Joshua from electronics who helped me today. I was quite angry at the photo machine chords that were not correctly connecting to my phone. He not only got me a new chord but he walked me through the best options for getting my photos from my device to the computer. Since instant print wasn’t working at the time I was going to have to wait till the next day to get my photos and he said that he could have them finished in ten minutes so I could take them home tonight. Thanks to Joshua from electronics, this made my experience a 5/5. The only reason I marked it down a star was for the following reasons:Other things to note would be that the store is almost always well stocked, the employees can be nice and helpful but occasionally just like in any other place, you’ll find one that just isn’t having a great day. The bathrooms are really nasty so I wouldn’t use the restroom there. Everything else about this Walmart I really like but if I could suggest one improvement it would be clean the bathrooms more often.
I tried their grocery delivery today. Dont waste your time. I placed my order and got a notification that my groceries were on the way a couple hours later. All good there. The driver shows up to my house, parks, sits there with her door open for a few minutes fiddling with her phone. Then she closed her door and drove away without delivering anything. Then I received a notification that specifically stated the driver cancelled my order. Nothing more. I had to call the 800 number to even get a refund. I tried calling the local number to see if she even came back to the store with my stuff, and I was put on hold for 45 minutes. This place is awful. Shop at Aldi, Schnucks, Farmers Market, Fresh Thyme, ANYWHERE else.
This Walmart location add more pool chemicals in stock then most any store Ive seen in the past 2 months. However no Hardware such as filters in pump accessories and exedra.There Ill mapping for locating products seem to be superior however they had little-to-no self check-out line an older checkout lines were extremely long
Generally they are ok. Today they really dropped the ball on a pickup order. They ran 2 hours late, including 40 minutes after I was told “it’s ready.” I spent 15 minutes on hold trying to get through on the phone to ask what I should expect. Usually they’re ok (except the one team member has a conflicting/strong personality)…today was frustrating.Probably would’ve been 4 stars before today.
Shopping carts are horrible. Worker offered me one on the way in and the wheel was wobbly in the rear. I gave it back and got another cart. It was hard to push. Also had a guy begging for money down 9ne of the isles. Didnt feel safe inside. Outside they have a security truck watching the parking lot. Lets you know what kind of neighborhood you are in.
I waited 15 minutes for help in crafts after a worker said she would get someone, then went to the service dept to complain that I got no assistance. She called a mgr and told me to go back to that Sept and someone was on their way. Went back and stood there another 10 minutes, still no one.I needed fabric cut so I went ahead and measured it out and cut it myself. Waited another 5 mins and still no worker appeared. Other workers saw me standing there and cutting my own material. Do you think any of them stopped or thought that was weird . . . Not a one !!! Another customer asked me for my assistance since they thought I worked there!I walked away and left what I had cut and intended to purchase .That store might as well close. No one there wants to help you. Never going back to that location!!!
Clean place. Friendly staff.A tip for the kids in all of us. Play tag or manhunt... you wont regret it.Rules? One person be the hunter (usually decided by another little game or chant) the other players are prey.The pray=RUN AND HIDE!The hunter=FIND THOSE PREY!if no pray found after 15 minutes, picture will be sent to the hunter (time varies)
Stopped in for a few items, while passing thru town on vacation. It was later in the evening but still pretty busy. Store was clean, everyone was nice. Alot of activity in the parking lot, people hanging out, gathering in groups. They had security driving around, but he didnt stop once.
I love this Super Center Store Walmart... The employees remember you and treat you like Family.. And let me give an Honorable Mention to Walmart for being outstanding during this Pandemic.. Walmart actually was first to Set the Stage for wait time upon entering the Store during these trying times of the Pandemic and guess what? That Worked!... And they set a time for our Senior Citizens, Outstanding... I also use the online delivery and I give that an 8+ ...Love this Walmart!
I waited 45 minutes to pick up 2 items I ordered online only to be told neither the staff member nor the manager could find my items. During this process, I called the pickup number 4 times; the line was not answered 2 of the 4 times. Needless to say, I ended up canceling the order. This was my first time using the pickup service at this location. The timeliness of service leaves much to be desired.
Curbside pickup is great! I placed my order online, and received texts and emails regarding the status of my order. Once I arrived, the check-in process is simple, and they were out quickly with my order. They verified that I was happy with the substitutes for out of stock orders and loaded my car for me. Quick and simple!
Im am SUPER UPSET. My delivery never arrived so I went to get it. Only to pickup all bad food. They let my FROZEN ITEMS and SMOOTHIES. sitting in their room from honestly probably 10 9 am to 7 when I arrived. My order was set for 10 am. VERY UNSATISFIED. Looks like I wont bordering from there again
Its sad to go in there now. Theres a totally different reason but what I have to say is Im not happy with the Belleville store no more, every time I go in the story its down right nasty shelf are empty stacks of boxes in the walk way which is a safety hazard for every one thats not able to walk around and an Im disappointed in that the staffs and managers dont care about helping you any kind of way and the check out lines are too long in the store, it does not make sense to have three lines open when the store is very busy. The outside of the store parking lot they need to bringing all the shopping carts stop having them stick out in the driving lane. Now back inside the store they need to make sure that they are more than one person that be cashing checks area there shouldnt be a line in the middle of the walkway. There should have been another store on the West side of Belleville to help. I believe that all the team members need to go back to customer service training.
Always friendly staff..customers not always!! I utilize the pick up option a LOT and get my groceries weekly that way and its an awesome convenience when you have children! I wont go back to going in store for groceries unless they stop the pick up service- very appreciated!!
The electronics department should have more staffing available. I stood waiting for 20 minutes for one item while the associate rang up store employees that were buying food.I understand they were on break but that is why there are multiple registers available at the front.
Went today to grab a couple items, under 10, and there were only 2 lanes open and self checkout. The lanes open were spilling into the main isle all the way into women’s clothing. We found someone who seemed to be a manager with the name Warren on his tag, we asked if they could possibly open up another lane since people were accumulating at checkout. He turned around and said “I wouldn’t come into your job and tell you what to do, so go about your own business”! Well, quite frankly where I work would not allow us employees to stand around and do nothing while scrolling on our phones! This store used to be the “better one” compared to O’Fallon but is equally as bad and the employees are absolutely terrible. I will NEVER come back since it seems to be an ongoing issue, they should not rely heavily on self checkout. If i could do 0 stars I would no doubt.
Found most of the stuff we were looking for. The checkout person was a bit rude. She loudly asked me if the bottles I was holding were mine? She could clearly see what they were. One was a water bottle from SAMS club that was half empty and the other a tea bottle from SAMS club that was completely empty. They dont sell those there. I told her that. She could have at least said oops! Or anything to acknowledge her mistake. Even an apologetic smile. Know your inventory. This was the first time anyone has asked me this question. Usually the clerks are friendly.
It doesnt have enough cashiers for the weekend to help expedite the checkout of the customers in a timely fashion. When self checkout is backed up into produce and the other checkouts backed up into womens clothing that should tell management they need more cashiers up front to help get customers out faster.
Waited an hour for our pickup order. When we asked about our order, they said the response was I dont know. No update, no apology. We told them to cancel the order and left. They called us 25 minutes later asking what bay we were in. Again we notified them of the long wait with no update and to cancel the order. Their response was okay anything else I can do for you?.I know this wont affect walmart at all, just be aware of the potential situation if you do a pick up order.
The store is ok but the check out is awful. What is the point of having nearly 20 registers and only 2 are open? The lines were 10 or more deep and this was a Sunday evening in spring. I remember why I shop at Target and spend a little more. On the bright side though they do have records and Häagen-Dazs spirit ice cream.
I quickly remembered why I dont use THIS Walmart, they do NOT price match on THEIR ADVERTISED items. I found what I wanted which was in stock on line and in store I went to buy it in store said item was $168 and change before tax. But advertised as $118.00 flat. They would not price match I had to pay $130. For a tv THEY ADVERTISE AS $118.00 Im thru with this store and referencing folks to shop here. I will only shop with Edwardsville. At least they have INTEGRITY & HONOR THEIR OWN POLICY.Just dont LIE Walmart why LIE and advertise one price but really another and they not have integrity with your own policy. Im baffled
ALL people need to be wearing masks or dont let them in. When I did find an employee they were helpful. The cashier charged me twice for a queen size sheet set. Now I have to find a way to get back to have it removed from my credit card. I tried to return a belt that was too big(for my son) and they said I couldnt return it yet because of covid. I am taking it back again!!
Dont waste your time with this store. Ever since the 24 hour service disappeared I cant stomach Wal-Mart anymore. I hope this company fails for giving in to nanny b.s over reach tyranny. I used to love this Wal-Mart now that its not 24 hours any more....YALL LOST MY BUISNESS. I USED TO SPEND 100S OF DOLLARS WEEKLY HERE!!!IM SICK OF IT!!!!!
Walmart is Walmart is Walmart. Thats literally all I can say and youll know exactly what Im talking about. This one was slightly different because when I first walked in it wasnt laid out exactly as I had pictured from the thousand other Walmarts Ive been to. I got what I needed and left and I did use the self-checkouts which is always a go-to.
The Walmart grocery pickup here is atrocious and deserves 0 stars. The pickers dont always pick all of your items. Every time we have placed an order, the pickers leave off many items and dont bother to grab substitutions. We have gone in the store the same day as our pickup order and have seen these items on the shelf. Also, dont bother calling to check-in for your grocery pickup. We checked-in by phone and was told our order would be right out. But that it dont happen. 40 minutes later, and after seeing many people who arrived after us get their orders, we had to call to find out what was going on. Come to find out, the person who took our check-in call DID NOT check us in. Needless-to-say, we will never order a grocery pick-up order from Walmart again. Spare yourself the wasted time and go somewhere else.

This Is the 2nd Time Ive Waited for Over an Hour for Groceries to be Delivered to my Car !!!.....And the Lanes Were Filled with Other Drivers Waiting for Their Groceries Also !!!.....No One Will Answer the Phone or The Recording will say Leave A Message then will Say Sorry this Mailbox Is Full!!!.....You can Try Calling Inside the Store But You are Left on Hold FOREVER WAITING ON A MANAGER, AND WHEN THE Manager ANSWERS THE PHONE THEY ARE OBLIVIOUS, Likely Overworked, Under Paid and Sadly Overwhelmed!!!.....Which Results in a Customer Who Is Angry, Frustrated and at their Wits End !!!.....Thinking Next Time I Will Shop at TARGET or Anywhere Else!!!!
I looked up on their website their hours for their money center. It said 7a but when I went inside it said 8a. Then when I came back it still wasnt opened due to a worker not showing up. Only person that was willing to complete my transaction was the Lady from customer service
Seems like every time I use grocery pick up I always have trouble. The check in app doesnt work always says something wrong at our end so I go to the pick up line and call the number and it tells you to leave a message that doesnt work either the mailbox is always full. This has happened the last three times I have used pick up have to wait for someone to come to my car to get my name. This is anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour wait.you need to get the check in app working and empty the mailbox so people can get their orders without sitting there waiting.
I realize Walmart has just about everything that you possibly could need. Unfortunately, no staff to assist you as they continue to move products in different locations. After walking sure the store for 20 minutes trying to find an item they once carried either its out of stock or has been replaced with a lower quality product that breaks within 90 days anyway.
Walmart tire ordering process needs work. Ordered tires through Walmart.com, and scheduled an appointment (which has come and gone). Still no notification of delivery of my order to the store. Probably will go elsewhere to order tires in the future. Otherwise, folks who work there seem like decent folks, but doesnt seems like they are manned appropriately.
Im from Texas so things in Illinois are much different. This Walmart was so confusing to navigate through for me. The people who work here however made shopping much easier. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They took the extra time to actually TAKE you to what you are looking for and stay with you until you find exactly what you want. I was very impressed by the way the staff reacted to the general public.HURRAH!
The store almost always has what we are looking for and they do a great job ensuring everyone is wearing a face mask upon entering the store. But not such a great job of ensuring everyone continues to wear their masks inside the store, especially with their own walmart employees. If they are going to police the customers at the front door, they need to set the right example and at least police their own employees working in the store. Everytime I go in the store, I see at least 3-4 employees not wearing masks or not wearing them properly (around their neck).
We havent been inside a Walmart store since the pandemic hit the state of Illinois. But we do shopping there with the use of the Walmart app. Its been extremely convenient and safe. Ordering using the app is easy, you pay for it through the app and you can decide what time and day to pick up your groceries. Then when the time comes to pick up your stuff they have a specific place to park your car and you tell them youre there for curbside pickup and an employee we be out shortly with your stuff and they will put it the trunk for you. No contact. Its been great.
Wish I could give ZERO stars. Grocery delivery is HORRIBLE!!!! had to cancel my order twice because NEVER arrived, call another time, and was late 2 other times. No one answers in the delivery dept so can never resolve the issue. Always out of half of items ordered and they double charge for pending and actual charges for like 5 days. NEVER AGAIN.
I had a wonderful experience. We were greeted upon entrance, the stockers and other associates were helpful and very knowledgeable of the location of departments in the store and The cashier that checked me out was the icing on the cake. He went above and beyond to assist the 2 ppl i was with. I dont recall his name, but he was AMAZING.. Thanks Wal-Mart for this wonderful experience. U all also had EVERYTHING i needed, thats normally out because of this pandemic. Very well stocked! Thank you again! A-1
I have been coming here since I moved to the area in October. I buy alcohol regularly and they check my ID. Today rather than check the date on my ID the person at self checkout made me pull down my mask so she could put that I “appeared” over 40. I even had my ID out so she could check. She said she needed to be able to “see” how old I looked. This wouldn’t be an issue under normal times but due to COVID this is completely unacceptable. She doesn’t know if I have it, if she had it, or if someone else has it. Also people shouldn’t be touching their masks while wearing them. They are inky effective if we don’t screw with them. Making people take off their masks is a health risk.
I was appalled . I asked for the manager as there were 3 maybe 4 cashiers working and the lines stretched into the clothes department. We spent over 2 hours and 25 min in the store. Shopped for 25 ,the rest waiting in line. Everyone was upset complaining and talking in line. I was the only one that had enough nerve to complain. I spoke to Donald it said Lead on his name tag. I had spoken to him before regarding bad management and long lines. He said everyone went home. He would not give me managers name. I spoke to an employee named Riana who was so nice. She was told by Donald to clock out of when the store lines were so backed up. She called Melissa up. Its around 6:30pm Melissa was very belligerant when I asked her if she could get another cashier to open a register up. She said she had to let young workers go home and others having dinner. I told her I live in St Louis but stay in Belleville with my Fiance. She then told me I should go back to St Louis. That was it!!! I have never been talked to like that in my Life. I am a teacher with a Masters degree and am 74 years old. I have had my own company and have hired many employees. She is a poor example representing Walmart. Im sure Sam Walton would be turning over in his grave hearing such disrespect from your Manager!! I hope something changes. You have lost a loyal customer. Frustrated. Just needed a couple of little skeins of embroidery floss. Got to the checkout and one of them had been broken out of a multipack by someone else. Ur apparently didnt have a barcode so they couldnt sell it to me. That was the colour that I needed, no others available. Having to go to a different place to get it. Decided not to buy any of the items I had in my cart.
One stop shop, great prices, convenient BUT this location NEVER has shelves fully stocked. Good luck finding anyone willing or wanting to help if you need it. Most lanes are blocked with merchandise someone is going to stock at some point but its like this threw out the entire store except automotive, rugs, and pets. One 2-3 lines open even during holiday season so best bet is to wait in the long self checkout line.
I dont know who authorized the re-design of this stores floor plan, but here are my thoughts.1. The designer should be given a one-way coach seat to Siberia, where they are left on the frozen tundra with one-days worth of supplies. Then and only then will their efforts be truly rewarded and the frustration they caused be repaid.2. The utterly incompetent executive who authorized the designs by the person above should also accompany them, but receive no supplies.Perhaps, the no-brained members of the C-suite at Walmart thought they could raise their revenues with impulse purchases by trapping customers in the store, who aimlessly wondered around looking for the products they came for. Poor Mr. Walton is now upside-down in his casket.
Nearly everything at this Walmart dosent work. Terrible atmosphere, lazy management, dark and dirty environment. I understand covid affects alot of this, but even pre covid this Walmart has always been kinda terrible. They told me how desperate they were for workers, then took a month and a half to call me back. Overall very sad, at one time this was a reliable Walmart.
The Auto Center at this Walmart tried to charge me $112.00 for a new tire when all I needed was a patch job that cost me $15.00 At Fix-O-Flat ,Inc. Plus my tire is a Continental Bronco 2021 tire I would still have had to replace and take off the $112. 00 Walmart tire and get a New Continental 2021 Bronco tire. That would have run me about 200.00 Dont take your cars here for repairs unless your ok with possibly being over charged taken advantage of and robbed out of your hard earned money I would have been out of about $350.00 dollars for something that only costed $15.00 dollars WATCH OUT FOR YOUR MONEY!

2022-04-27Hands down the best visit to a Walmart that I have ever had. I had to visit the Service Center for new tires. I was told that it could possibly take at least two hours.Being from out of town, Im thinking damn.Joni, the Service Advisor and Cashier was great! Perfect and friendly attitude and very welcoming. 2022-03-26I havent visited Walmart since forever, mostly because they were rude and unhelpful but to my surprise I have a 5 star visit!The staff were very nice and pleasant to me. I had 3 Walmart employees ask me if I was finding everything I needed. Unbelievable! I will be going back soon to see if it was a dream! LolEverything was clean and easy to find as well. Whatever you did Walmart keep it up!

2022-03-24I dont know. I guess if it wasnt for the long lines I wouldve given 5 stars but its walmart so whatcha gonna do. Besides I usually use self checkout which moves a lot faster so I dont have any complaints. Its Walmart in 2022. Its what I expect. No-one is mean or unfriendly. If you ask a question or need help they are professional and helpful every time. that is what I am looking for.

2022-05-31Wish I could rate less. Pick up order placed for the time slot of 4-5. I understand things can be busy so I checked in to the app like your supposed to and waited for an hour before I literally went into the store to find out where my order was. Thankfully after failed attempts to call someone in the store walking in I got an associate to find my order. What a mess. The supervisors or managers running he pick up piece of the business must not exist because I’ll shop faster the. Wait for a pick up.

2022-04-15Most the employees were very difficult. The only reason Im giving it to stars is because the employee at the front the greeter was able to help me when no one else could. Went to buy some hot food from the deli and it was priced wrong when I went and told them they couldnt fix it so I gave him the food back I guess apparently they threw it away

2022-05-09I placed an online curbside pickup order on a Thursday night and picked it up on Friday night. When arriving home I was missing something. I rechecked my car and it was not there. I called the store to see if they forgot to bring it out. I called and sat on hold 4 different times and no one ever answered. I went there on Saturday morning when they opened. I am handicapped so I wanted to get there right away in order to get an electric cart. There were only 2 carts sitting there with the sign on them that said they were charging and not ready. Hello? They do not work overnight so why were the carts not fully charged? I tried one and it was completely dead. Someone came over and told me the other cart was fully charged. I told her why I was there and she sent me across the store and told me to knock on the black door and someone from curbside delivery would help me. No one ever answered. So I proceeded to toys to look for the item I never received. It was not in stock. So I found something else that I thought they could substitute for me and proceeded to customer service. Well, I never made it there. The cart died half way back to the front of the store. I turned it off and waited a few minutes and the cart would advance about 4 feet. I shut it off again for a few minutes, turned it on and advanced about 4 feet again. I continued this procedure hoping to make it to the front of the store as I cannot walk that far. I made it about 75 yards from the door before it completely died. I then walked out. I went home and tried calling the store again no answer. I called four more times throughout the day, still no answer. I tried calling again on Sunday a few times with no answer. I waited until Monday and called there Corporate Office. They listened to my complaints said they were sorry and refunded the money for the item I never received. I said thank you but what about the dead carts and no one answering the telephone for a couple days? She said she would let someone know about it. Im sure she will!

2022-06-16There is always change. That is life. I am starting to get used to the new phone app and finding items in the store. Still a work in progress. However, I am convinced the self checkout process is actually slower than with an attendant. Just saying.

2022-05-28I scanned an item and decided to take it off and I went on later after I was looking recite and saw I was still charged for this item.I called Walmart and they had me come back in just to tell me that they never charged me but they did if it shows on the recite and the app. Not to make any thing better but all the staff were being very rude about all of it.I have never experienced such bad costumer Service my whole life.This is complete bull because they are getting a run for my money

2022-06-24Store was in disarray didnt look like employees were working their departments. Limited registers opened. Probably 1 in 10 people wearing a mask.... Just all around awful shopping experience. ****Update I went in today and it was much improved went to the auto center for an oil change and the staff was helpful and friendly they were quick price was reasonable***Update didnt venture into the store but vision center staff was awesome!!
