Clean store friendly and helpful staff . I visit this Wal-Mart weekly.
Love my pharmacy people. Always friendly and know me by name! Most other employees are great as well. Shout-out to one, Amanda. Tried to find a certain hat and she went above to help me try to find it!Mike is there half the time and always friendly!
They had delicious and cheap Jolly Ranchers. Oh yeah, and $1000 doll hairs.🤙
Seems like a well stocked and clean store. Adequate number of staff on hand and did not have to wait long in the checkout line. Staff member stationed at the entrance with available hand sanitizer and fresh masks for those who did not have one (but no authority to deny anyone to enter). Not as large a selection in the grocery area as some stores (c.f. Paducah Walmart).
Every time I visit the fabric department it takes forever to get someone to cut fabric and then the equipment doesnt work our the person doesnt know how to work it. For instance I stood waiting on assistance for 20 minutes and 4 overhead pages and then it took another 15 minutes and 2 girls to get the fabric priced. I almost walked off several times.

I got in get usually what I need & I self checkout. I dont like that idea. It totally takes food from peoples mouths. I feel those automatic floor sweepers watch your every move. That too takes food from human working people...
Im from Carbondale so there are plenty stores nearby but decided to drive a little further to go to Walmart. I was very impressed as soon as I walked in the door as there 6 mind you SIX motorized carts! My husband had a stroke and in the other 5 stores we shop we ca never find a cart for him. He usually stays in the car and I run in and grab a few things. In and out. I was very happy starting out. The employees were very friendly especially up front. The store was very clean and I was able to get every item on my list which is unusual. Thank you. Diane M Bodkin.
Well lets be real ok, the place is a dump, cant find nothing good about this place, carts are outside best to take one in with you, self checkout ,,ha, well if you dont buy paint or carb cleaner then they HAVE to find SOMEONE, well and if the Someone shows up the young NTG thats New Tec Generation cards 80 year old woman for buying wine ,sad sad sad. There is way more but not worth my time, there is no fixing this place if you want to take something back, one of the 3or4 young Experts at the service desk tell me what i HAVE to do , no you dont! Walmart dont care Managers dont care, workers dont care to big to fail they think well We the People do care but not about Walmart anymore,

Staff appeared angry and was very snippy. Lines (the 2 they had open) were very slow moving. Store however was clean.
Dislike this Walmart unfortunately its the closest to me. Workers follow you threw the store makes it very uncomfortable to shop. Some cashiers are just unfriendly. Mainly the blonde with the black bandana mask i think she oversees the cashiers either way not a great experience.
Always got what u need they try to stay family oriented Santa Claus at Christmas deals for back to school I know Sunny disposition or given boxes so people can move is always nice

Its hard to get help finding someone that works there. When it comes to the checkout thats a total joke! They now make you check out yourself theres only one live person there to check you out. If I wanted a job I would apply

Variety is lacking in almost thr entire grocery side.
I went in to buy Bullets yesterday and was told I could not purchase them because my foid card was expired. Il. has extended foid cards that expired since March of 2021 for a period of 18 months. I have applied for my new foid card. Is it my fault that the state of il. Has not sent me a new card? Wake up Walmart and abide by the states law.
Not one of the bigger super centers but fully stocked, adequate employees great meat and produce selection. Not very crowded.
Normally Walmarts are 1-2 star, but this Walmart doesnt even ask if you want a mask when you enter maskless, so 3 stars. Healthy people do NOT need masks! My dad gave you an IMMUNE SYSTEM, silly gooses!
Abject lack of selection. Total apathy on the part of managers in relation to consumers wanta or needs. Toy department is a complete joke. Not one single star wars Retro Collection figure on the shelf less then a week after release. Manager of the toy department should be fired and the black mark should follow them throughout thier miserable lives.
They have what you looking for but very few cashiers
A smaller walmart than most but still a Supercenter although they do not have a tire and lube express. After tonights apparent evil eye inspection Im afraid I have to lower my perception of this place. Obviously its expected for any store to maintain security procedures and work to protect their profits. However I feel like the droves of cameras strategically placed and positioned should be sufficient for surviellance. I could be wrong but I do know it doesnt need to include a barely prepubescent boy in the CSM yellow vest standing over me in some solid solider stance, giving me the stank eye while I ring in my items. I could almost be this kids grandma, I cant breath well enough to risk a foot chase that has blue vests chasing me thru isles and parking lots. If a trip inside for a quick take and bake pizza, sodas, and a few bottles of cheap craft paint is going to have crew considering radioing in back up for a pat down, I may have to switch to the red and white light. You should practice the evil glance on these new hires before someone ends up with PTSD after they give her flashbacks of abuse. Leave it to the eye in the sky, skip out the stank eye of the creepy guy.
They dont seem to care about handicapped people. I have a very bad back and cant walk far. They do not have enough motorized carts and to check out with a cashier, you have to walk to the middle of the store.

Self check out line girl did most for me. Since I just had teeth pulled I was grateful for her help. I love the Anna Wal-Mart. Small yet mighty. Always clean.I always get help when needed. Prefer it over Marion.
Clean store, however, wish people would wear masks. I was seeing 6-8 people in the clinic a week with covid. I wish people respected each others health. Masks are arent 100% , but some reduction better than nothing.

The store is very cluttered and you can barely walk through the aisles because of pallets of stock in the way.
Wasnt overly busy in and out fairly quick.spent over 200 dollars for not many items...everything everywhere is so expensive

Didnt have what we came for so a little disappointed on this particular visit. Always buy the Pineapple Coconut flavored water. Drove 15 miles to get there and its been out for 3 weeks. I think thats unacceptable in my opinion.
By far the best Walmart in (618) Southern Illinois. Its always well stocked and clean. They always have sanitizer wipes for their carts. Employees are about 50/50 ratio for being friendly, but all seem efficient and Ive never had a rude encounter. They usually have a sufficient amount of lanes opened & parking is never a problem. I go at different days and different times & my visits are always consistent. Great Walmart for people with anxiety, they are never very busy & its pretty spacious as far as personal space in concerned.
This is a somewhat smaller walmart. Larger stores carry more of a variety in several departments. However the largest downfall is probably that they have 4 or 5 staff with yellow jackets standing around like they are at a social gathering while there are 2 cashier lanes open and several to quite a few customers at each lane waiting. There are several though that are more than willing to help but usually are only the older employees which can sometimes work circles around the younger employees
Screw u Walmart and your self checkout lanes and only having 3 cashiers with 12 customers trying to checkout. If I wanted to handle my groceries 5 plus times and check them out I would have tried to get a job at Walmart.

Not many choices to shop in Anna. Many changes since I was last there. Bathrooms are still in the back and front of the store. Selection is basically the same in every Walmart. Handicap accessible parking in front. Fresh fruit and vegetables located at entrance of the store. Shoes were fairly priced and about the same merchandise that that in Oklahoma. You never know for sure what you are going to see at Walmart. I am often shocked at the short shorts, mini skirts, pajamas, no bras, see through clothes and etc that you see people wear. Walmart is a good place to people watch.

Returned item and had to wait in line at CUSTOMER service because the cashiers were having trouble with their devices to check prices.iritating.it is at all Wal-Marts. I am going to shop at BIG LOTS.Cusomter service is 100 times better.and store is cleaner and neater.
Mobility cart was not charged i am disabled and couldnt stand long enough to finnish shopping otherwise wouldve been likely to spend more and shop further.
This Walmart is by far one of the best Walmarts Ive ever been into it has the feel of a small Walmart from when Sam Walton was alive but has the convenience of being a super Walmart

Pharmacy is the worst! For the past 3 times, I tried to refill my prescription they didnt have enough, so instead of calling me, they waited until I got there to let me know it wont be in until Tuesday, another wasted trip and time. I plan on taking my prescription elsewhere. 😔

I like this place because it is convenient. It is clean & easy to navigate through. The down side to any Wal Mart is the move stuff around to much. Its sometimes so hard to find certain items that I just give up looking for it.
Well I think there all the same Ive never had a problem and when I have had a question about something they seem to help me with a great sense of humor and smile check out seems to be some what quick.

Couldnt find any plus sizes. Hot in store. Went to look for electric razors and they only had one for ladies.

I was super against shopping here because I didnt want to spend my money in this town. I was pleasantly surprised to see some diversity present but I wont ever be back to this town.
I liked this Walmart as well as any other. I used the pharmacy and it went well and they used my Rx discount card which helped save $$. Again my only problem is the way the exits and entrances are blocked off.
We were at Anna Walmart and had coupons for Maybelline & Cover Girl. One was for boho and they (cashier and asst manager) tried to not allow the use of coupons in our purchase. The coupons clearly stated one coupon per item and they took it as one per order and said we had to use them on another purchase order. I split the purchase into two orders. The whole time we were there the cashier and her supervisor were turning their heads and talking about us in a derogatory way. I cant decide if I want to shop elsewhere or use coupons every time I shop there.

Worst Walmart ever mid day they had 2 check out lanes open with 3 or more customers in line and 6 cashiers standing around watching the 4 self check out lanes talking to each other. Customers serve themselves at this Walmart. No customer service at all. Evening and night shift is worst than days. Also there security guy follows people around acting like a customer but he is really a fake stalking creep. Had asked him if he had a problem with me he wont respond and walks away. Go to Carbondale or Marion store bigger better worth the time and gas just go on pas Anna.

It was as I expected it to be. Which isnt a bad thing. It was pretty crowded which I dont like, but I was able to get everything I needed.
Its a good place to get things that you need
Pallets of freight on the floor. Empty pallets on the floor. 5 or 6 employees at the customer service center, chatting and laughing, while one checker had a line of 5 people and the self check was full too.
Walmart is Walmart, after all. But they are not always fully stocked. And there is not always assistance when you need it. Overall, it is a great store!
This location was people friendly and the checkout servise was fast.
Cashier seemed like shed rather be elsewhere. Woman wouldnt crack a smile. Ill find another cashier next time. I like friendly folks not prunes.

I am handicapped I depend on the electric wheelchairs every time I mean every time I show up to Walmart to do my shopping because I need the electric wheelchair they are hardly ever plugged in they have about six theres always two or three or four setting theyre not plugged in I noticed the guy that brings the carts in from outside Baxter men to their permanent parking spot inside the building without plugging them in and leaving trash in the buggy such as snot rags nasty nasty nasty but I have to shop here because I cannot walk very far because I had a stroke

There are signs that says no truck parking but we ask the manager if we can park our rig overnight. He said they allow as long as you park at the sides and not blocking anybody

This is a nice size super Walmart, smaller scale than Carbondale, Marion or Cape Girardeau. It doesnt have an in house bakery but does has a small deli.
Havent had any problem with Walmart in Anna. Good about re- turn items , etc. There isn t enough associates on floor to help find products, usually have to justgo find someone.
Every time I enter this store the African American manager always seem to fallow me around. Ive never stolen before in my life but the white chick beside me was stilling, and still Im the one being fallowed. If I could give NO STARS I would. Unpleased Customer.

There milk is higher than other stores in the area . Sometimes it is hard to find what you are looking for. The chocolate has been moved to another place and not in the aisle that says coco.

There are a few employees that have been there for a long time and they still till this day are nice and helpful.
Normally, Wal-Mart allows overnight stays in their parking lot. This one hired a security guard to kick everyone out - only on eclipse weekend. He had no explanation other than Im just doing my job.

The Walmart in Anna, is okay. Its a smaller Walmart. It does not have a Automotive shop like some other Walmarts. It has a smaller selection than I would like but the best selection in Anna.

2022-05-29Everything is in different places almost everytime I go there. Never have the same products, always have to settle for something else that you really didnt want. Fruits are always bruised and sometimes have mold on them. I do not enjoy going there & you can never find help when you need the staff

2021-11-29Lucked out and got a good parking spot. Got my things quickly and went to check out. I prefer a cashier over self check outs. Needed a few more cashiers,during the time of day,I was there. Not a fan of self checkouts. Prefer actually checking out with a real person working behind the cash register.

2022-03-26I always like Wal-Mart but the choices here are limited and there are a lot of empty shelves in grocery. I asked an associate where interior decorative string lights were, the type that takes batteries. Ive bought several sets at the Wal-Mart in my home town. The associate didnt know what I was talking about and said to check in lawn and garden.

2022-02-22EVERY TIME I COME TO THIS WALMART I’M REMINDED WHY I TRY TO ABOID GOING INTO ANY WALMART!!!….Another 40 minutes just at the deli. It’s tiny deli!! But it never fails I come to the deli & there’s either no deli clerk behind the counter or in the back cooker area…then I have to either wait for an associate to walk by or in some instances call the front desk from my phone to ask someone to be paged or just to confirm it’s even open!!! Today was great though…a floor supervisor noticed me waiting & immediately called for an associate to come to deli. I had a glimmer of hope this trip would be different. Another stocking associate even told the supervisor that deli clerk WAS Clocking in from lunch right then!!! WRONG!!! A clerk did come up only to tell me she had to go clock out right then for lunch or she’s get in trouble but her coworker would be there there at some point!!! Another 15 minutes & call to the desk someone appeared…but took another 12 minutes to take my order!!!!

2022-04-07My shopping experience was horrible! Ppl in the store didnt wear face masks & everywhere I turned someone was coughing or blowing there nose. I saw adults & children coughing throughout the store....coughing on product. I got the hell on out of the store. I didnt see ppl cover there mouths either. The store needs a thorough cleaning.

2022-04-27Tired of going to a clerk not old enough to sell alcohol and when you go to selfcheckout you have to wait for someone to approve it and that sometimes takes 10 minutes
