Edit: dear Corporate Walgreens management: I went in to post a review, but realized I have already typed a thorough condemnation of your practices.Corporate Walgreens is full stop REPREHENSIBLE in their treatment of the employees at this location and EVERY Walgreens retail location. These poor employees are Six Sigma efficiencied to the bone. There is no possible way for them to keep up with the deluge of work they are given, and it results in painful customer experiences. Abysmal wait times. Unhappy customers and beaten down employees.This location is a testament to corporate greed pushed to its logical extreme.Corporate Walgreens management should be thoroughly awash in shame for their endless hysterical greed and may God have mercy upon their corrupt dark souls.Ive worked in a retail pharmacy as a technician, so this review isnt coming from a place of ignorance or entitlement. The painfully slow service at this pharmacy is a fact. You will be on hold for HOURS if you call them, and the drive through or pickup will take you 30min on an average day.This is the direct fault of CORPORATE Walgreens. These poor pharmacists and technicians are doing their absolute best under the circumstances, but the CORPORATE offices in Deerfield decide exactly how many hours they assign for technicians or extra staff.The service at this pharmacy is unacceptably slow, and it is 100% the fault of the regional/district managers who fail to move the message up the chain of command to the people in corporate who can make a difference here.

This staff is always supportive of me when I go in and the pharmacist work very hard for all of the population they have to deal with. One day My intention was to ask for half of the prescription because I couldn’t afford it. But this pharmacist who I’ve never seen before, who didn’t know what my intentions were on her own started searching and found me a cheaper prescription with double the amount of medication and I was very very satisfied and grateful she didn’t have to do that and I appreciate the fact she took the time to look out for a customer. As customers we really should try to understand what people go through in the service areas; I appreciate this pharmacist and the work that she does thank you Walgreens.

Painfully slow lines, inside and out. Usually one person working counter, only. Often running between counter and drive thru. But even when dedicated to counter, one isnt always enough. They never call for another person to help, no matter how long the lines get. 20 minutes, this time. Ive waited much longer before, too. I have almost never spent less time than 15 to 20m in there. Usually more. And they continually do nothing to fix this. Literally the only reason I come here is because its 24 hours, and Im debating changing anyway, because there are always issues.

I dont know how anyone can give this place anything but a 1 star. Ive visited this Walgreens more times than I can count and EVERY time Ive had nothing but problems. Ive had employees straight lie to my face about their procedures and how they do things and dont get me started on their Pharmacy. If you plan to get a prescription filled her put aside at least a minimum of 20 minutes to be assisted. If youre in the drive thru a good half hour eben with one or two cars waiting. Then today I had a script sent to a different Walgreens in Lansing, IL (who are AMAZING compared to this place) but I had an emergency and wasnt able to pick it up so they sent it to this one. I was sent a text msg saying my prescription was ready for pick up and after waiting 45 minutes in the drive thru I was told they had to contact the Dr becuase I was out of refills.... I explained this was already filled at another Walgreens but was sent her given I wasnt going to be able to make it there so why do I need a refill but was only given attitude / stone walling from the cashier. I left in frustration and tried to call to talk to a manger but again dont hold your breathe on trying to reach someone here, they answer the phone and put you through a holding process and I can only assume so that they dont look bad on customer waiting times. I finally got a hold of someone to gs the same BS attidute, like its my fault all this happened. I was eventually placed on hold for 30 more minutes and finally I was told they corrected it & my script would be ready in an hour. I will absolutely NEVER go here EVER again!! This is why I love mom and pop places... customer service is non existent here. Strongly recommend to avoid this place at all costs!

Slowest pharmacy ever. Cars waiting in line for too long. Then they only have one lane open.. like really?? Ughhhh, it’s like of people wait in line til their prescription is ready. Which I know isn’t the case.

People dont understand that pharmacists arent super heroes they have queues of so many prescriptions to fill, get over yourself, the world doesnt revolve around you. Sorry walgreens for your bad reviews, people are just too privileged.

This is the slowest pharmacy drive thru ever. 5 cars took over 35 minutes. If i wasnt blocked in by other cars i would have left. Next time i went i waited 20 min and no one was served. This place needs some serious changes. The pharmacy service is deplorable
