This was my walking-distance store for ages but of late its become very inconsistent. Props to the usually very good front desk folks including Jaquarius who did me a total solid putting together something on the fly today!Ive had pharmacists here that go way above and beyond for me, including researching stuff and calling insurance and finding coupons on my behalf. Chris, who I think is head pharmacist, all of the other actual pharmacists, and several of the female techs, are wonderful.But Ive also had very unpleasant experiences, such as having two or three different pharmacy techs in succession come to the window, start helping me, and then walk away without saying anything. the worst was yesterday when I came in to get BCPs a little early because Im going to be traveling for the next month. The male pharmacist/ tech who helped me, whose name I know but who I am reluctant to get in trouble, said well of course insurance isnt going to cover this. What he meant was that they wouldnt cover it because it was early... a very different thing which he did not make clear. Eventually he did say with a sigh that hed need to call them and get them to release it early because of travel. Because he was acting so put out I said um, should I have known this?( Ive only been on the pill for 3 months so this is the first time Ive had to fill early.) And he actually said yes at first! I think this is really inappropriate treatment of a female customer seeking birth control from a male tech.
The lowest of lows when it comes to Walgreens pharmacies. The inattentive staff have to follow some unrelentingly slow process for every transaction. The lines pile up. My regular hours Walgreens pharmacy is not open late, so that’s why I occasionally end up here. It’s as if this pharmacy exists in an alternate universe in terms of the amount of manual protocol they go through, the line stacks up.They do eventually fill your prescription, so there’s that.
Staff are friendly. But waits are offensively long (15 min+ on average). It’s the only pharmacy in the area. The fact management has not increased staffing to accommodate the recent boom in population is frustrating.Only a matter of time before the overworked staff mess up someone’s prescription.
Horrible customer service and lines for pharmacy always wrapped around the corner in the drive thru and inside isn’t any better. Employees/pharmacists having a good time talking about customers waiting in the outside line. Saying they want them “to go away” in front of the line of people inside. HORRIBLE STAFF!
Pharmacy sucks. Waited 45 min after they told me it would be a 20 min wait to inform me they never actually put the order through and had to wait another 45 minutes in pain for a simple prescription.
This walgreens PHARMACY is ridiculous, ive never seen such incapable employees , if you want to wait hours in the DRIVE THRU or even days DAYS then come here !! The rest of this walgreens can get 4 stars , as for the pharmacy, youll be disappointed. Dont waiste your gas money lmfao
The pharmacy has never answered when I called this location... waited on hold for about 45 mins on several occasions with them then disconnecting instead of answering. They get my prescription correct about 10% of the time.
Good stuff, you know the same as every other Walgreens. But, the pharmacy is 6am to 9pm so be aware of that.
I was on hold for over an 1 hour without anyone answering. They must turn there phones off because there was only one person ahead of me in the phone line. There is no way someone is on the phone with the pharmacy for over an hour.
Late night prescription runs are never fun, but the pharmacist went out of his way to get it filled. Great service when we needed it!
The WORST pharmacy experience I HAVE EVER HAD in my life. I will NEVER set a foot at this location again.

2019-10-10This has to be the worst Walgreens pharmacy in the area. You can wait hours just to pick up a prescription. There are always long lines and no one working the registers although many employees are hiding in the back, filling prescriptions that no one can pick up. The last time i tried to get a prescription there, the drive up was closed and 20 people in line inside, one cashier. I went to another walgreens 3100 west armitage and they filled the prescriptions with very little waiting and no attitude. From now on I go there or order by mail.

2022-07-01Great place to check if you’re ready to parent triplets. If you really want to test your patience, this is the place to visit! If you’re idea of a good pharmacy experience is mental torture, look no further. The only reason this place gets 1 Star is because there is a pharmacy tech (young guy) with a fantastic attitude. I feel bad for all the employees that have to deal with the absolute operational mess this pharmacy is.

2021-05-03I usually love coming to this pharmacy for my health care needs.But today there was a guy, with curly puffy hair, that was very rude to me.He also told me my prescription would be a 20 to 30 minute wait.I waited with my mom and I went inside after 30mins. Just for them to inform me that he entered my prescription for pick up at 4:30.So I had to wait another 20mins.My mom got tiered of waiting for nothing and left. so I had to wait a travel back home by myself.a total waste of time.Now Im very late to work.Had to call off of work because now its too late to go.They really need to educate their new employees more properly and be aware of who they hire in the future. Everyone else was very kind to me.

2021-10-29Just waited in line at the drive through pharmacy for 50 minutes to then have the pharmacist say the prescription could not be picked up for 2 more days and that the notice we received that the prescription was ready was a system error. Huge waste of our time. Don’t go to this pharmacy.

2021-12-07Half the time the pharm techs do their job, the other time they make excuses to get out of work. When you have an appointment you have to wait 2 hours for a shot. They said next time walk in. We walk in next time and there is no line and they insist appointment only. Another reason people arent getting their vaccine

2021-10-27I got a Covid test and the pharmacist put the wrong date of both on my results packet. I called the company that they send the labs to (aegis) and they said to call Walgreens. I called the pharmacy and they said there is ONE person ahead of me. I waited and waited and the phone would start to ring and someone would then put me on hold AGAIN. This kept happening for 20 minutes until they just HUNG UP!I called back and the manager was extremely rude and could not mentally grasp the fact that all I wanted was an accurate result for my Covid test. He argued with me and made jokes at my expense on the phone and who has the time or patience for that! Especially when you have Covid symptoms.The other reviews seem like this pharmacy is garbage. Never getting a prescription filled here I know better than that! But I thought a Covid test was simple enough. But i guess they don’t teach you in pharmacy school the difference between a 2 and a 3. Now I have no idea if I have Covid and I don’t know if my results will be accurate or not. it’s been an hour since my test and I have no information. Never coming back here again.Avoid at all costs! Never coming back here again.

2020-12-03More than earns its 1-star reviews. I normally go to the cvs at target, but I had a medical emergency and Walgreens was open later. My wife waited half an hour only to be told they never got the prescription. After several frantic phone calls and a text to my doctors personal cell, it turned out the pharmacist just hadnt bothered to check the messages for the last two hours or ask the other pharmacy staff if they had gotten any calls. This whole time, another customer was waiting, post-op, for medication and was never even spoken to, let alone helped. Go to Target instead.

2021-08-22I came to get a Covid test and was refused service because I was not in a car, I explained that I did not own a car and the pharmacist suggested I come inside and purchase a rapid test or call an Uber to get in a car. Both options would potentially expose more people to Covid and seemed like bad advice from a medical professional, I would not recommend this location.

2021-08-26Absolute worst pharmacy Ive ever been to.This is the third time that the pharmacy has either ignored my doctors call or outright lied to me about my prescription.If you can avoid using this pharmacy, do so!
