It takes a half hour or more to get through the DRIVE THRU everytime I go. Get told outright to come back in an hour because its busy and they cant fill something...I wish cvs was un my.network again the speed at which they moved was unparalleled. Pharmacist rude and disrespectful, I went to pick up a prescription they said there was an issue with my insurance than 10 minutes later they call me telling me they made a mistake and they found the information. I come to pick it up a couple days later the pharmacist is rude and tell me that I have to pay when my insurance covers 100% medication, she raised her voice and said well i don’t know what to tell you I can’t do anything about it figure it out.
Even though I go through the drive-thru, Ive always been taken care of superbly. I just moved here from Round Lake & with a boatload of meds.. these guys & gals got all my meds straightened out & on the right track.. thank you so very much for that. I was so worried & I see for nothing.Total professionals
Terrible! Extremely long wait and then they got the prescriptions all wrong. We were coming right from Northwest Community hospital and really did not this need this kind of hassle. No one appeared the least bit concerned. Not sure what the issue is here. Worst pharmacy that I have ever dealt with.
Everyone is very friendly and helpful especially cosmetics and pharmacy. They have a pretty good selection of many different types of things. They only downside is that they can be understaffed, so during busy and rush hours lines can get a little long and the pharmacy take a long time. This is understandable though because they have to go back and get the medicines, get them authorised, varify info, go over details for new perscriptions, then go through the paying process for each person; bouncing between drive thru and in-store
I was shopping for a new lipstick. I was testing this one tube of pink lipstick to see if I liked the color of it on my skin tone. This older woman with shoulder length blonde hair who works at this Walgreens started yelling at me as if I were a child that did something terribly wrong “WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU!! YOU DONT DO THAT!!! YOU WOULDN’T WANT SOMEONE DOING THAT TO A LIPSTICK YOUR INTERESTED IN!!!” I Apologized and said sorry I didn’t know you couldn’t test lipstick here (there was no plastic on any of the tubes, so I thought it was ok) The woman again yells at me and says the same thing I previously stated. Then the woman again yells at me saying “YOU DONT EVER TEST LIPSTICK AT A STORE WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU” I was annoyed at this point and rolled my eyes and walked away. Mind you I suffer from high anxiety. Instead of yelling at me in public she could’ve kindly said “excuse me miss, but please don’t test these.” I mean she works a retail job you don’t talk to people like that.. I myself work retail and found that highly inexcusable.. Another thing, I’m well aware I look really young for my age.. People mistake me for a 16 year old all the time. I’m 26.. like even if I was 16 you don’t talk to people like that. Like you don’t know what people go through.. And yelling at someone to that extend is inexcusable. Also, I was on the phone with a friend who said “what’s wrong” I said “this lady yelled at me for testing lipstick” mind you I’m in the next aisle over and she’s spying on me and ease dropping in on my conversation. Again she started screaming at me “WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU!! YOU DONT DO THAT!!! YOU WOULDN’T WANT SOMEONE DOING THAT TO A LIPSTICK YOUR INTERESTED IN!!!” I got so upset I yelled back “Excuse me ma am yes I understand thank you” I was so embarrassed that I grabbed what I was buying and tried leaving the store as fast as I could. My anxiety was so bad my hands were shaking I was crying in the car. Nobody should EVER make a customer feel like this!!! That woman is working the wrong industry! She should not be working with customers! Personally I think she shouldn’t have a job there after this incident... Or she at least needs to learn the definition of CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! On the upside, a big thank you to the store manager for listening to my concerns! I was very pleased to say the least that he understood that was not appropriate at all and he’s the only reason I’ll ever shop at a Walgreens ever again. Thank you.
Waiting 5 days for a prescription to go through .The pharmacists knew I was coming in the day before, when it finally went through it was out of stock! I had no medication for 5 days! Unacceptable! When checking withThree other stores all out of my prescription.Walgreens is the worst drug store in America! I spend over$35,000 to $50,000 a year at Walgreens. No more. I pulling everything out of your chain. You should be sued for putting a persons life in danger.
Went there for my photo pick up, then got 3000points that i can apply. I got vitamins from pharmacy and other things from the shop. Wanted to apply the points but cashier told me it should be 15$ of purchase and humiliate me that i had to read to direction. I am sure my vitamin costs 13$ but i paid at pharmacy. Others would 10$. They cant just put altogether made me wait and send me to other counters
They have a drive-thru pharmacy drop-off and pick-up, which is nice, but the typical experience - whether drive-thru or in-person - is that you can wait a long time before you are helped. Once helped, the pharmacists themselves seem nice enough, but the fact that *every* experience is excruciatingly slow makes it seem like a systemic or managerial problem. Also, its not uncommon for the pharmacy to NOT HAVE the medications... how do you run out of drugs at a drug store?!?!
The cashier today was very rude . I went to buy medice for my daughter that had a really high fever. When we were in line waiting to pay she threw up and instead of the cashier telling me if I needed any help she turn around and shook her head. How disrespectful. Its not my daughters fault to be sick!!! I had to ask her for napkings to clean up the mess because when I asked her to call someone she completely ignore me! So I had to clean the floor and when my son asked her for a bag to throw the dirty napkings away she pretended like she didnt hear him, so I had to reach in for a bag and get one myself. She is so rude and disrespectful!!! I have been coming to this Walgreens for many years and never felt so disappointed like today!!

2022-03-30Horrible pharmacy. Almost had to cancel my surgery because they didnt fill the precipitation my Dr. called in many days before. Ive owned a business in the same shopping center and I hear hardly any positive experiences about that pharmacy.

2022-06-06Gave me the wrong amount of medicine and argued about having delivery requested...much touted on their website but on the phone---if youre able to reach a real person---without fail tells you delivery service not offered any more. RUN dont walk to somewhere else!

2021-08-20They really need more staff in the pharmacy department. I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt that they’re working as fast as they can, but today I sat in the drive thru for 38 minutes. I can understand maybe waiting 15 mins at most, but almost 40 isn’t right. Most people don’t have time like that to wait around, especially with kids in the car. They could at least say “Thanks for waiting” or something- it’s not as if I have to get my rx filled from here. Please hire more people here!

2021-11-15I dropped off a prescription, the pharmacist assistant stated the prescription was in stock at 8:30am, and it would be ready in the afternoon. At 9:15am I received a text the prescription is out of stock.I tried calling and set through 5 minutes of store hours and break time, alone with Covid and Flu shot updates. Once someone picked up the phone they hung up without saying a word.

2021-10-13Absolutely horrible customer service and ignorant staff during pandemic. This Walgreens is conveniently located to me but I will never step foot in there again.Basically their servers were down and as I was inquiring About next steps I was told they have no information for me.I then asked for a supervisor to see if they could redirect us to another walgreens or call us back when servers are back up so we can follow through with scheduled testing, being sick and having a difficult time finding anyone to take us to testing.I was told the supervisor was standing right next to them and then was hung up on.These people should not work in healthcare and I hope Walgreens corporation will one day remedy the situation as these are the situations and sort of people who discourage testing.

2021-06-26If I can give it a negative I would. If you try calling the pharmacy line, they will literally pick up the line then hang it up, just because theyre busy. Their drive thru is always backed up at least 4 cars. I am definitely transferring my prescriptions and Not recommending Anyone to come to this location!

2021-03-11I should have read their reviews before deciding to transfer our prescriptions here. I was looking for another Walgreens branch that can be accessible after moving to another village. This one is the most covenient (location wise) from work. I called to request prescriptions refills for my family and the lady keeps on telling me that they are so busy that it will not be ready anytime soon. I told her that it is ok. I came to the store after work, and Nancy helped me find my meds and asked her how come my daughters’ meds are too soon for pickup. I explained my situation and a guy named “Karl” if I am not mistaken helped Nancy and just said that my insurance is not covering the refill. I asked how come because I always had Walgreens and never had an issue. And with an attitude told me that I just have to call them. I just said ok then. While paying I told Nancy that it is not bad to be a little nicer. I am aware that they are busy but the approach could have been a little better if he said it nicely. We have been going through alot since pandemic, a little kindness will definitely make a difference to someone.

2020-09-26They refuse to use the system that sends a text when your prescription is ready. They also refuse to call you when they actually say they will call you whether your prescription arrives or not. Not sure if they are seeking my prescription or if I should request another Walgreens fill my prescription.I will probably move to using a different location that provides a higher level of customer service.

2021-11-15I had very poor experience with picking up my order in a pharmacy in Walgreens located at 1711 W CAMPBELL STArlington Heights, IL 60005. Nobody was by the window in drive through, I was ringing and waiting and waiting so I went inside, the lady sent me back outside. When I finally pick up my order I got an email with survey which was not possible to fill it up because they already got the survey which was impossible. I’m wondering if someone wanted to pick up covid test, was infected so where is the safety from Walgreens Pharmacy staff??
