Walgreens in other cities:
Avoid this pharmacy AT ALL COSTS! WORST Customer Service. Everyone has an attitude. 5hr wait for medicine. When asked to speak to a manager, I was told there are no managers working. There is not enough space to type my experience with them. Please go anywhere else. Its a shame since it is the only 24hr pharmacy nearby and located conveniently next to the hospital. You would think they would be more professional.
I don’t usually write reviews, but the pharmacy at this location is terrible and everyone needs to take caution from them. I went to drop off a prescription for my daughter, they said her medication was NOT covered by her insurance and that it would cost $120! After calling the insurance myself they told me it was covered. After I went back there they said they “see” in the system now. If that wasn’t bad enough I had to wait 3 days for my prescription because it fell on a holiday weekend?! That was the most absurd thing I have ever heard in my life. I honestly think they just forgot to even put her medication in the system. If you think the ridiculousness stops there, well then it doesn’t! I got the wrong medication for my daughter. I got eye drops for another customer instead of the ointment we were supposed to get.Might as well Everyone there should work with blindfolds on at this point. Walgreens you should do better with your hiring snd training of staff members
Absolutely the worst Walgreens Ive been too. My child receives monthly medication and they seem to mess it up every month. And the people there have such an attitude problem. Poor customer services and incompetence in this pharmacy. Wait times have been insane! Ive been patient, I understand beings short staffed but to wait over 1 hour on the phone for someone to pick up and 1.5hours in line waiting to pick up am rx is insane!
This review is for PHARMACIST MARIYON (I hope I spelled his name right). Oct 10, 11am. He turned a not-so-great day into a great day with his kindness and excellent customer service skills. For some reason, my insurance company was not approving my daughters vaccine (a vaccine that she needed for school within the next few days), and he went above and beyond to call my insurance company and got it approved within a few minutes.Ive also had previous interactions with him at this pharmacy and he is always consistently on point and always friendly, even when it seems extremely busy.Thank you so much for your great customer service skills, it is truly appreciated!!
FILTHY STORE. See the attached photos of the waiting area. Floor was filthy, desk was filthy, and the trash can was overflowing. Yep, that is a cigarette butt on the waiting area floor! Looked more like the Greyhound bus station than a health care business. The employees were great and tried the best they could, but the pharmacy was understaffed. Waited in line 15 minutes to check in. Was told they could not access the forms I filled out online and I would have to fill them out again there. Received my vaccine 30 minutes past my appointment time. Is Walgreens corporate asleep at the wheel? Where is the closest CVS?
The pharmacy here is brutal. I feel bad because they seem friendly, but man, they do not have it together. Every time I go there I use my phones timer to see how long it takes; its roughly 10 minutes per customer. I dont understand, theres like 7 people working back there. Dont get your prescription sent here. Additionally, Rosa, the older woman who works the store, is very rude. If you ask her for help, be prepared for I cant talk right now and for her to walk right past you. We all dont like having to work, get over yourself.
This pharmacy I would have to say they have the poorest customer service. I waited a long time ( over 45 minutes) with my for him to receive his injection for and they skipped him. I went to the front and the girl stated would be right with us when she had the chance. When she was free she left and didnt even bother to explain to us what had occur earlier. I work in the medical field myself and we dont treat our patients this way. If my office would carry the vaccine I would of taken my son there unfortunately they dont. I thought Walgreens would of provided a better service and Im still waiting to be acknowledged with my son here.
The pharmacist here is is a mess! A complete joke. They dont know what they are doing. 9 days without my medication because this so called pharmacist dont know how to mix it or compound. Never in those 9 days did he call my doctor for clarification. Been there twice waiting over 1.30 minutes. He never showed up and never answer the phone. What a mess. He needs to get fired. So many reviews saying the same thing and nobody has put a stop to this, talks a lot about the supervisor manager. At the end of the day his team, falls on him/. Too much negligence with peoples medication that needs them to survive. This is alarming. What a mess! Guys transfer your prescription to CVS they are a lot faster, and they do pick up the phone and care about the customer.
What can I say that hasn’t been said, this is literally the slowest place on earth. This place makes the dmv look fast by comparison. I don’t even know why though like it’s really not that hard to just get people in and out. If this place moved any slower it would make the rotation on earth reverse and we could be able to go back in time.
Do not get vaccinated here. I had a 5:15 appointment and got to the store at 5, I walked out at 6:15 never recieving my shot. I waited in line for 15 minutes, waited another 20 go get paper work to fill out, 10 for that paperwork to get taken and then another 20 minutes of watching pharmacy customers come and go before I walked out. They are grossly understaffed at this location.
This is the worst Walgreens Ive ever been to. I went to the pharmacy to drop off my prescription and it took them 30mins to acknowledge me. And the woman who I gave my prescription to had a attitude and was so unprofessional. I wanted to say forget and take my money else where but this was the closest 24 hour pharmacy near. Its safe to say this will be my last time coming me. Theyre just rude
Don’t come and get your vaccine shot here! Horrible waiting time. We waited for 3 hours. They don’t have a dedicated staff for vaccines. The pharmacist tech’s priority is filling prescriptions. She doesn’t care that you sit and wait until she is ready to give vaccines.
Understaffed, Phone service is atrocious and the staff is inept. Been getting my prescriptions here for years because its close to me and the 24hrs but its a hassle Everytime. There is always a issue with insurance, they never answer the phone and when you do finnally get someone they say you need to speak to the pharmacist and put you on hold forever just to get hung up on. Dont go here
This store lacking antique customer service. I was there 7/1/21 around 530pm. The cashier at the front didnt acknowledged me, smile, and didnt thank me for my business. Also the cashier was on her phone with her ear piece in. I guess since she represent Walgreens as a company so I think this company dont want or appreciate my business. Im better off taking my business elsewhere.
Store is disgusting trash running over the trash can and ALL over the floor. I waited two hours for a covaid vaccination even tho I had a 4pm appointment. NEVER go to this store for medical reasons its ridiculous the wait and customer service. I was I could this store 0 stars they never have to worry about getting my business again.
Ive been dealing with this pharmacy for a long time and the service is simply abominable compared to other Walgreens. I have sat on hold for over an hour multiple times, just to show that this is the norm. You get placed on hold, music plays, someone answers, puts you back on hold, music plays, over and over and over, sometimes you even get disconnected after waiting that long. Most terrible service of any business Ive dealt with. NO ONE IS THAT BUSY!!!!
This pharmacy is located at the busiest intersection in South Chicago. It is perpetually understaffed. On this occasion, I spent 1 hour at a local urgent care and got a prescription for an antibiotic that my child had to begin that evening. I was told that they were very busy and that if I was waiting that it would take 1.5 hours - 33% longer than it took to see a nurse, see a doctor, get two strep tests (and results), a flu shot and a prescription. After giving my phone number for a call back, I was told, They should give you a call when its ready. Should? I answered, noticing the frantic activity behind the counter. Are you are saying is that I should drive back here in 1.5 hours, but because youre so busy that I may not get a call. Answer: Yes. This is normal at this location. Theyre nice, AND do not need your business... Went back 2 hours later, because, as I expected there was no phone call to notify me when my prescription was ready, and I had to wait another 20 minutes because no one had even begun to fill the prescription. Your time = their profit. Go here if you want to be part of that business model.
Take forever to answer the phone takes for ever to serve do you need a different mic? Pharmacy has very poor management, mic has been broken over four months and no one bothered to fix it. They take for ever any time of the day I really don’t recommend this location to anybody
I have officially had my last ever visit to this establishment. Every single time I’ve gone to the pharmacy here I think that the wait can’t possibly be longer than the previous time, and I’m proven wrong. They are always understaffed and slow slow slow. I’ve waited 45 minutes just to drop off a prescription. I have used “Express Pay” a few times, thinking it would make things much faster. However Express Pay is useless when no one is even working the express pay register or it is being used as a regular lane. This last time I went through the drive through thinking THAT might be faster, and I waited over 20 minutes for my turn. This location appealed to me because of the 24 hr pharmacy, but so not worth it! Avoid at all costs.
I really like this Walgreens. Pharmacy staff are Great. Pharmacists always ask me if I have any questions and they are very efficient. I give all of the staff in the pharmacy Alot of credit. Customers yell and scream at them about their medicine (Even when its an Insurance issue and beyond their control). I have witnessed it. I wish people would say thank you to them once in awhile instead of complaining. Keep up the Great Work
If this location wasnt so convenient, Id never shop here. Over priced, management/employees are insanely rude. Need better training of staff. Shoplifting would be a breeze here because nobody is watching the counter in the early morning hours. Manager is too busy making excuses for why hes not ringing up customers/watching the door.
I walked in needing to use the restroom once they had locked up the restrooms for the night, but when I had explained that Id tried FedEx and the white castle across the street, and how terribly I was spoken to, they let me use it anyway. The customer service was impeccable and I was SO appreciative. Theyre amazing.
Being in the customer service field for over 25yrs, I absolutely appreciate outstanding customer serice. Todays world especially where there is so much hate.Maria in the photo department deserves praise and a promotion!! My son tragically passed away and went to Walgreens self service photo booth. Teck savvy I am not and looking thru all of my sons pictures brought on a range of emotions..manily anxiety.Anxiety mixed with a lack of teckky stuff..I asked the photo teck Maria for assistance. Even though she was incredibly busy she made a ton of time for me.My sons cards turned out amazing!Thank you Maria for easing my anxiety and your patience. Your compassion did not go unnoticed
In over 20 years of getting prescriptions filled this is the worst Walgreens I have ever been too. They are always understaffed and it can take 20-45 minutes just to drop off a prescription. When there is an issue or a delay with a prescription you have to call them over and over or they simply never resolve your issue. Calling them in itself is an exercise in patience. You call this store but your call gets forwarded to a call center and after waiting, identifying yourself and speaking to them no matter what they bounce you back to the store you called and you must start the process over but now there is a much longer hold time. I do not understand why this Walgreens that serves a large trauma center like Advocate Christ cannot simply hire enough people to make this pharmacy run smoothly. Goodness knows they make enough money. I have received much better service at the Walgreens on 87th/Cicero.
I was at the clinic today to take my 8 years old son, with fever and ear infection,I got there 15 minutes before 4:00 pm and they close at 4:00 pm,the nurse told me we cant take no more patients,so Im confuse, they close at 4:00pm or 3:45? They should be clear about the clinic hours, very disappointed,I use private insurance and if I go to the emergency room I have to pay $200 dls with my insurance,I cant believe this lazy people, please give a BETTER SERVICE.
Horrible shopping experience. The cashier rung up somebody else merch then was upset because I told her it wasnt mine. Then the price that was shown in aisle was not honoured at checkout. She called her manager and she was not helpful. Didnt even apologize for the inconvenience. Ill just shop on 95th and kedzie from now on. If you dont like your job at least give customers respect. Its a basic skill.
Terrible experience in the pharmacy. Was told I would only have to wait 20 - 25 minutes for an inhaler I need asap. I waited over an hour. The associate that took my scripts originally should have let me know right away they were short staffed and I would have waited at home and had someone else pick up my scripts. I worked for CVS PHARMACY and NEVER had anyone waiting that long for a script. People waiting were to be taken care of immediately within the 15 min limit or it counted against the store. The fact that Walgreens can have people waiting twice as long for their scripts as it took to get in and out of a doctors office is ridiculous. I will NOT be filling my scripts with Walgreens and I will make sure everyone I know does not either.
If i could give negative ratings for this walgreens pharmacy I would. None of them know what they are doing, they miss read prescriptions, lose prescriptions and are totally unprofessional. Ive been on hold for 45 minutes all together called back 5 times and have STILL not spoken to a physician. The medicine that I need will put me into serious withdrawal symptoms if not taken at correct time and now I had to go through hoops to get ahold of someone who could contact my doctor who gave me the script in the first place. NEVER AGAIN, will I deal with this messy Walgreens.
I don’t know what’s going on w/Walgreen’s or if this was just this store in Oak Lawn, but I arrived on April 29th, 2018 at approximately 12:45AM & I was informed at the drive-thru 24 hour pharmacy that this location was not filling prescriptions therefore not in operation. Who ever heard of such a thing for a 24 hour pharmacy that is supposed to be manned 24 hours! I’ve been filling my prescriptions since day one at Walgreens when they were I believe the innovators of computer record keeping some time in the 1980’s I think it was, so you’re talking over 30 years & not once during this time-frame have I ever encountered this problem. The whole purpose of a 24 hour Walgreens pharmacy is to be open 24 hours. Their should be no excuses for not being open to dispense prescriptions unless a bomb dropped, heaven forbid. People need their meds ASAP at any hour of the day or night which is the function of a 24 hour pharmacy. Or else why are you offering this service & the customers are obviously here for a reason—to get their meds in a timely manner at any time of the day or night. Previously I have also waited way too long for the prescriptions but still remained a customer. And I’m very disappointed in reading other people’s comments stating this location has run out of their specified medications. Big Pharma & especially Walgreens are certainly supposed to know to keep the meds of THEIR customers stocked up—that’s what their innovative computer system was intended for; so this kind of stuff doesn’t happen. That’s Walgreen’s priority as that’s what they started their business for in the first place. That’s like McDonald’s saying they ran out of hamburgers! So did all the pharmacists call in sick—Walgreens owes the customers an explanation. Was the computer system down? Good excuse or not, they owe customers free scripts for the ones they were not able to fill on this day or some comparable offer or deep discount. The owner/manager of Walgreens should be monitoring these comments & make amends! And they are obligated to retrieve my info/script records from the OTHER non Walgreen’s pharmacy they referred me to in order to add to my on-going 30+ year record of prescription service with them. Now I have a gap as if I was never prescribed anything as far as Walgreens is concerned because the meds were not dispensed from there on today’s date as I was forced to go to another pharmacy! This is despicable!
I went to my normal Walgreens on my way to work this morning because I needed a refill on my BP meds. They told me tough luck youll have to come back this afternoon. I called this location because they are close to my work and they gave me an emergency dose until they recieved verification from my Dr. Im very grateful because I feel like garbage if I dont take it. Excellent customer service, thank you!
My doctor called in my prescription to this Pharmacy for my Flu Ive been sick for the past week and needed and wanted my antibiotics ASAP! they were out of stock! Now a day later Im put on hold for 30 min to talk to the pharmacist who was very insensitive to my situation and the nerve to give me attitude! And to only tell me that they had to order it and wont have it til Monday wouldnt that be something you call and tell the customer?! Instead of sending a damn text message! Will never use this pharmacy again! If I could give them no stars at all I wouldve! Thankfully not all Walgreens pharmacies are this way transferred my prescription MYSELF to another more professional and caring Walgreens pharmacy.
The workers are rude! I am a secret shopper and they always have an attitude. The ladies in there dont like you if you are fairly attractive. Very rude and petty. Its like high school in there. The manager is the worse. The employees follow her lead. KENYATTA with the fake hair and nails. All fake. Very rude and unprofessional.
Good Lord, how spot on the bad reviews are. I didnt realize how bad they treat people who take certain medications. I too recently went in and handed prescriptions over, they took them and I said if you have a problem with any of my scripts just hand them all back to me. If you need to call doctors lawyers police or anything that I dont feel comfortable with dont fill any of them. So she takes it says ok 20 minutes and I wait and what the heck??The man wearing the white gets on the phones and starts calling doctors!I just told you if you have a problem with 1 prescription dont fill any. He gets on it be phone calling the doctor who happens he very close to my family and begins to accuse me of doctor shopping and does he really want to approve this medication,oh my Lord that gets me so angry. You either are filling or not filling. You make the customer think your filling it and start calling people and then after the wait tell them why this medication is this and that as of it was crack cocain I was getting. No shame in these people. Many customers standing around and your telling people my business. NO NO YOUR NOT GETTING AWAY WITH THIS. If those who are being discriminated against would just team together transfer your prescriptions contact Walgreens and let them know what is happening and what your going to do then maybe we will suffer but we will help those that come after us and they wont be targeted. This is definitely a lawsuit. You cant spill the beans on what the patient is taking in front of other customers. You need to take them to the consultation window!Thats what its there for!PRIVACY!Im in contact with 2 other people that had issues here and were looking for more to start the ball rolling. Were not drif addicts and your too treat us with you he respect you signed up for. It go find another profession. Its very easy to contact each other through google gmail or hotmail. We need another 3-4 people and my broter inlaw and his firm are taking the case. Its not about money because all of it will be split up amongst any patient who has been to this 95th Cicero location starting from 2014 is the farthest back the law will let us go,all the way until the case ends.
Dropped off prescription at 6pm on the 21st, told them I’d pick it up same day said it would be 3 hours. Not a problem, went back at 10:30pm said it wouldn’t be ready till the next day, came back at 12, they said it wouldn’t be ready till 4:30, went back at 8am said it would be 20 mins, went home got ready for work returned 45 mins later and still had to wait 20 mins cause they never filled it and didn’t even give me the 2 week script I was prescribed, the said I had to come back after 1 week to get the rest even tho I was written a 2 week script. It wouldn’t even bother me if it didn’t take 16 hours to fill a script that I need to literally live a normal life!! Do they understand that maybe they should prioritize meds from the last pick up or what the intention is of use. And no this is not a narcotic drug where I need it for pain or to abuse. 🖕🏾🖕🏾🖕🏾
Went to the ER on Tuesday 1/31/2019 after my wife was discharged took prescriptions to Walgreens on 95st and Cicero ave. At 3am we where told that one of the prescriptions was no longer available so we went home we called the next day and where told that it still not in so I waited and called on Thursday and was told it came in so I went to pickup on Friday and still not there long story short there left hand dont know what there right hand is doing when I asked for my prescription back the where able to take care of me after waiting for one and have hour later long story short dont go to this pharmacy unless you have time to kill.
Dont waste your time at this location if you want your prescription. My doctor called twice and they didnt answer so she had to leave a voicemail with my prescription...3 hours later Walgreens told my husband they didnt have anything for me...that my doctor never called. 4 hours later I call them 4 times and no answer, I had to call the store and the store had to tell the pharmacy to answer. At 11pm the pharmacy told me they didnt have my prescription again and they said...oh we have a voicemail and finally they listen to the doctors voicemail 4hrs later. Unfortunately, now I cant pickup my prescription until tomorrow because I dont have a car until tomorrow. My prescription is urgent and thats why I had the doctor send the prescription to this Walgreens that is open 24 hrs on 4740 95th Cicero, Oaklawn. I am sick and now I cant take my medication until tomorrow. What a horrible customer service.
This walgreens has great staff that provide the best customer service they can. I go into this walgreens very often and Sheila always provides a warm greeting every time I enter. From the times I have came in I have seen Sheila be patient with a lot of customers while still providing the best customer service that she can. Really love this walgreens store!
The pharmacy is filled with a bunch of slow lazy people. The wait for medicine is ridiculous, they lied about contacting insurance company, take breaks and leave the whole place unattended, and have generally rude and condescending attitudes when you try and fix a problem that is on their end in their database because they are too lazy to change your insurance information or double check that your prescription is covered. If you need medicine go somewhere else.
The PHOTO department is fantastic!!! Saved my party!!! I believe her name was Sonia, not only was she SUPER helpful after Bucktown Walgreens on Armitage & Western COMPLETELY FAILED me, but Sonia, SAVED MY PARTY!I had placed a 20 x 30 poster BOARD order thru the website for next day pick up on a Thursday, when I arrived Friday morning both posters were ROLLED UP in a sleeve! (I had a feeling they were going to screw up). As I was there I explained to the young lady that I had ordered the board (heavy duty, foam like boards) so she started re-printing them as I waited. Well, about 5 mins went by and only a quarter of the board had printed, so I told her I would be back after work at (5 pmish). Needless to say, I arrive at 5 and they couldnt find my boards, they asked whod helped me earlier that day, I didnt take a name, I just asked them to check who worked photo at around 10ish in the a.m. Also, while I waited I spotted BOTH of my poster boards half finished and crooked off to the side, I pointed that out to them and said they didnt know what had happened.Well, they werent able to help me, then the manager goes on to tell me that not everyone is trained to print on photo boards, she said she would accommodate me and call other Walgreens for me, after I waited about 20 mins (I honestly think she forgot about me) I called Walgreens in Oaklawn (while I waited in Bucktown Walgreens). From the moment Sonia answered the phone, I felt relieved! She was very helpful, very comforting, and I trusted her. Needless to say, I showed up, and both of my beautiful 20 x 30 poster boards were nicely printed, packaged, and handled!!! I was almost in tears. I was so happy to meet Sonia in person to let her know how grateful I was for all of her help and efforts as I needed the board for first thing Saturday morning. I WILL definitely keep coming back to THIS Walgreens!Thank you Walgreens staff for being so friendly from the moment you walk in. Customer Service at is bests!!!! Hats off to management!!! (too bad I cant say that about ANY other Walgreens Ive been to.)
Ida the pharmacist and every other pharmacist that has worked for the past 2 weeks should get fired. How do you lost someones prescription for that long! Then raise your voice to the customer because they dont have a clue what they are doing. Cant wait to call corporate on them!
The worst experience dealing with this store! Called to check on a prescription and was left on hold for 55 minutes and then disconnected. Called again this time 12 minutes, disconnected again. 3rd phone call connected to Photo Dept after 4 minutes I asked to speak to the Store Manager and call was never transferred! Extremely poor staff and definitely not enough employees working at this 24 hour store
I have stage 3 pancreas cancer and am taking pain pills as well as chemotherapeutic drugs. So I broke my arm recently and was given another pain killer different strength different brand then the cancer drug. Oh my God!How they treat you is not only wrong but its illegal! You have the right to refuse to fill my prescriptions but you dont have the right to tell me what I should be taking and shouldnt be taking and say it loudly so the other people there can get about my illness. My own mother and daughter dont know. Ive hid it from them. Hand me my scripts back and tell me Im not gonna fill it!DONT go calling all my doctors and telling them do you know hes also taking this and that and then giving me my prescriptions back and in Front of all the the customer tell me that I should just take the pills I take for Cancer for my broken arm. Are you a doctor??NO!You cant tell me to take something Im going to overdose on!Thats why your a pharmacist because you couldnt do the 8 years to be a doctor. You cant tell patients what to take and what they shouldnt take. You can only say whats on the papers whats the directions you cant give your opinions on drugs. So I went home and got sick from taking too much of the cancer meds as Walgreens suggested. They treat you like a drug addict. Now the other medication Wich costs over $1,000 and was too soon they were more then happy to fill but the pain med Wich wasnt too soon it was a new script they refused. Im transferring my 14 medications,my moms 12 mess, and telling my whole family and friends to transfer theirs. Thats how you get back at these evil pharmacists, you hit the company in the wallet and soon enough they will start to hire people who follow the LAW and treat patients with the respect they deserve and treat their privacy as they treat their policy. So in the end Walgreens will lose about 45-50 medications between my immediate family alone. Do the math.Anywhere from $300-$1700 for each script thats from 1 family. This has happened to me only with the 95th Cicero oaklawn and 79th central burbank Locations. Thats it. Why???How come when I left the other Walgreens filled it??But I only did that for legal reasons to prove the scripts were legit and I was being targeted.
3 times been here all 3 times this pharmacy got system issues an hour an half or more of a wait on an antibiotic due to systems slow unable to type up Rx to system just insane especially after a 5hr stay in ER and still wait 1.5hrs to have meds entered in and prob another hour to process and dispense Ridiculous! Disregard my one star.
Awful service at the pharmacy. No call or email when the medication was apparently “ready”. When I called to check on the medication I was on hold for over 20 minutes. Finally got in touch with a person who said it was ready earlier in the day. Went to the store and the medication was not ready. Had to wait another 30 minutes for the medication to get filled.
Used store multiple times throughout 2019 give front counter and floor personnel acnd merchandise display a 5 BUT most recent experience with pharmacy was disappointing and contradictory statements concerning the status of a small prescription..taking 4 days to fill and 3 questionings in person and on the phone line. Unfortuneate.
Walgreens is pharmacy with options for other needs such as vitamins, personal products, cossmetics medical home monitoring equipment, stationary, dietary supplements, nutritional drinks school supplies, technology equipment, photo and camera needs and basic auto supplies.
First visited in December of 2016 while staying at a local iNN and have contined to stop for small sundry items. when I have errands in the area.Have not used their photo print shop or their Rx pharmacy .Have purchased some candies and cleaning and or paper supplies as needed. Found the staff friendly but crowded at certain times with Auto Mechanic strikes and street repairs going on.

2021-12-19They took my prescriptions and stated they would be ready in 2 hours. Then I called for over 30 minutes because the automated answer stated I had no prescriptions there. Each time I waited to speak with the pharmacist they hung up on me. I had to call the store personnel to reach the pharmacy!!! Then they tell me not only are the prescriptions not ready but my insurance doesn’t cover them. I have had several of these medications before with full coverage. I would have even understood if they said I had to pay partial. But the fact you tell me my insurance doesn’t cover it and you didn’t even have me in the system! Then they had lights off when I did go to pick my prescriptions back up. In addition they held up the drive through line having a personal conversation then they handed the person in the car pills in an envelope. No prescription attached no bottle, just an envelope folded over concealed in one hand. These guys are crooks. They are too busy stealing from honest people and selling or giving pills out on the side to friends.

2021-12-30Easily the slowest pharmacy within 200 miles. The lines are always long, and they always take forever to move. Its the only 24h pharmacy around. Thats the hard part. They also regularly lose track of refills I request. That might be an issue with the app, but I didnt have it happen at other locations. I wrote this whole review in line, and they havent even finished with the person they were dealing with when I got here. 3 more people got in line, though.

2022-06-27I went to get a prescription that my doctor gave me at work. He gave me a discount pharmacy benefit card, I first went to the pharmacy area and was told to go get my allergy medicine and then go to the front desk to get the discount. I have to wait like 15 minutes for them to help me get the medicine because it was closed. I went to the front desk but the lady had to call the manager because my discount didnt have a barcode or something to scan, the manager told me I have to go to the pharmacy area to have them enter my insurance information to get a discount because it was a prescription. I explained that the pharmacy department sent me to the reception. Well, I paid for the medicine. but i guess they dont know about this benefits card or someone doesnt want to do their job

2022-06-23I had to get a new prescription today, and this was the only walgreens that didnt cause a problem with me trying to fill it. 10 minute wait. Honestly fantastic. I loved my pharmacist. Thank you for all your help today because I have been in so much pain for a week and a half.

2022-06-04This store needs an overhaul!!! The lines for the pharmacy are always long both inside and the drive thru! I rarely ifcever spend less than 40-45 minutes in the pharmacy department waiting to be serviced. OUTRAGEOUS!!!! Especially for a 24 hour location that does the amount of business this store does. I have LONG been dissatisfied with this store and as soon as I can I will be moving my families prescriptions to their competitor!

2022-06-07Over crowded all the time, understaffed all the time, you would think the district manager would help this store out. I was 4th in line to complain to the manager. No manager, just shift manager. Cant do anything bust pass it on to the manager that is not there anyway. Thats how bad it is here. CVS is right down the street, they get you in and out alot faster than this store.

2022-06-06The wait here is ridiculous for anything. To pick up medication, to pay at the register even to get a Covid vaccine I’ve been waiting for almost an hour already. DON’T COME TO THIS LOCATION if you don’t want your time to be wasted. Got here at 5:30 to check in and no one took care of me until 5:52, gave me papers to fill out now is 6:20 and I’m still waiting.

2022-02-23Called to ask a question about their COVID testing. I couldn’t find the answer to my question on their website . Someone answered and said they couldn’t help but would transfer me. On hold for over ten minutes, someone picks up and puts me right back on hold without saying a word, a few minutes later the same thing happened again. So here we are over twenty minutes in with people picking up and just pressing the hold button. They don’t care, they are only there to collect a paycheck and not provide good service.

2021-12-27Walgreens used to be the best pharmacy. This review is for ALL Walgreens stores not just the location at 95th and Cicero. Walgreens switched over to a call center for their stores. You cant call a local store without going through rhe call center. More often than not, the wait time to the call center is over an hour.....just to speak to a clueless individual with poor command of the English language. More outsourcing. Yay capitalism...right? Smh. Why have a call center that cant even handle a phone load? Keeping patients on hold for over an hour is ridiculous and boarder line dangerous to peoples health. My advise: try to find a mom and pop pharmacy. Worst case, go to CVS or Osco. MEIJER pharmacy is decent too. You can at least call these locations and speak to a pharmacist.
