I purchased a Primatene Mist which was behind the pharmacy counter and I was asked for ID. This product is over the counter and requires none. I had to go and get something that isnt required and waste time unnecessarily. I have never been asked from anywhere else for this (because its not required). Please avoid this location.
This is the ONLY Walgreens within a 15 mile radius where I have had a POSITIVE experience in the pharmacy, multiple times. The techs in particular are super friendly and helpful. I dont dread going here to pick up medicine, the way I did in Niles and Park Ridge. Theyre doing something right in Glenview!
Just had brain surgery to remove a tumor and getting all the prescriptions I needed from them was a total nightmare. First they were never able to fill them right away, then when they were my husband had to wait forever in line just to get them. They used to be great, but something has happened over there and now I would rather go anywhere else.
Incredible customer service from the pharmacist Melvin W. I needed help transferring a prescription from Arizona to Glenview. I ran into all sorts of Doctor and insurance issues and Mel stayed on it the whole day to make sure it was resolved. You dont get this kind of customer service very often. It really makes a person feel good when someone shows they care the way Mel did.
Whoever the surfer looking blonde guy is, not sure how he got a job there or is still working there. He gets mine and my husbands order wrong EVERY time. He has no idea what he’s doing. The answering service or whoever answers say your order is ready but 50 percent of the time it’s not ready. We have to call 2x just to doublecheck if an order is ready. I don’t know what it is but something is wrong with this Walgreens they missed their training or something. Mind boggling how something so simple they can’t do
I travel the country and have visited well over 100 Walgreens stores. This is probably the most poorly managed store I have encountered in the Eastern half of United States. Understaffed and extremely slow, untrained staff when it comes to a good customer experience.Maybe, just maybe I caught them on an “off” day. But based on the reviews, I doubt it.
If I could give a negative star I absolutely would. The pharmacy staff is super young. They really do not know what they are doing. They have filled my prescriptions wrong multiple times. And to top it off they deleted my script and tried to say the doctor never filled it when I can see clearly on the app that my doctor filled it. I will more than likely never use Walgreens again due to this specific location.
The pharmacy is horrible. Orders dont get placed, people wait sometimes more than 20 minutes in the drive in. Last time I used it I was the only one there so I pressed the call button. The person answered and said someone would be right with me and left the phone of the hook so I couldnt press the call button again. When I saw someone putting prescriptions away I tried to get their attention by honking my horn but had no luck. By then there were three people waiting behind me and two people in the second lane. I ended up calling the store to get someone to help us.
I had a horrible experience at this Walgreens today, cashier fail to explain me rewards point redemption program for my purchase, didnt give me ANY answer why I couldnt use my rewards points towards my purchase. Rude cashier, no courtesy, just bad attitude. I give them 0 stars if I could.
Do you enjoy long waits? Lines at 10 p.m.?Distance stares into the abyss when you ask a pharmacy attendant a question? Then come on down to this craptastic Walgreens. Pack a snack and drink a six pack because your order will be ready in 15 minutes...40 minutes from now. Be well.
I just left this Walgreens. It was my first time at this particular one and upon walking in I felt uncomfortable. The cashier kept watching my every move as if I was a suspicious character. Sorry Im tired and am debating on whether or not I should buy some items now or wait until after work to go to Target. But Im not suspicious, Im just indecisive and had time to kill before work. As I walked to the cashier to pay for some chapstick, then said out loud into his radio to have back up on security cam for my transaction. You couldnt have been more obvious! However, I was still pleasant and said good morning and have a good day to this judging man. Never coming back to this location ever again even if it is down the road from my job. Just in case anyone from corporate ever reads this (I am also leaving a complaint first thing after work at corporate.) This incident occurred on Wednesday 09/05/18 at 8:40a, I have proof of date and time because I went across the plaza to Starbucks to pick up my to go order.
Very rude night staff! Place looks nice in and out and easy to find everything. Staff is rude and lazy. Its 24 hours so they should be rested and fresh to work their shifts. Pharmacy staff in back is great. Front end and stock gotta go! I would have fired them if I were the boss
I have never had a good experience at the pharmacy. Never ready when they say it is, records screwed up, hard to find someone who speaks english, ect. Drive hold time can be hours. Really have to move scripts somewhere else. EVERY TRIP IS LIKE GOING TO THE DENTIST!!!!!
This is the worst walgreens Ive ever been too. Their pharmacy is always out of stock of my prescriptions and my families. Some of their staff is just plain rude and has no knowledge of any questions you ask them. And the front manager she is just plain out rude as hell. If I could give negative stars I would. If you can get to a different walgreens then save your sanity, spend the extra gas and go to any other walgreens.

2022-05-25I hope I can give 0 to this store. I had COVID test appointment today at 9:45am. When I came, there was a cart on the driveway. I called the pharmacy, no one answered, so I moved the cart and drove to the window. Then someone came with a note saying “does not work, up the cart back”. What? Without a notice? Without an explanation? I’m so mad about this experience. Horrible and rude customer service!

2022-03-24Update: So I got sick of waiting and went there in person. There are no customers waiting, at least three pharmacy staff -- in person I was helped within 5 minutes! All I wanted to know was if my doctor called in scripts for me, which she did. But guess what? My insurance card in their records has expired, if I only would have called ahead so they could tell me this? Oh wait, I did. Save yourself the headache, save yourself the hours, save your sanity. Go get your scripts filled somewhere else.--------------------Im currently still on hold with their pharmacy. Ive been trying to reach a person going for an hour now to ask a simple question regarding my rx. Only once a person picked up and said hold , and during my hour hold so far, I have been hung up on twice.

2022-02-10I have to agree with most everyone , this pharmacy sucks. They never answer a call and eventually you get hung up on. I wish that walgreens themselves would read these post from alot of people and understand that whether they believe it or not this pharmacy has alot of problematic issues that need to be rectified

2021-11-26The pharmacy staff lacks patience, helpfulness and guidance. Canceling a partial order when I’m try to get it filled. Prescription are never ready in a timely manner. Even my physicians have had a difficult time with the staff.

2021-12-29Have been on hold for over 30 mins. Pharmacy doesn’t answer phone and takes days to fill scripts even though it says it will be done that day. If I could give 0 stars I would. Then after 40 mins they hung up on me. Never even spoke to a person.

2021-11-22This location is awful. They have lost my prescription 2 times and has continued to give the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. This has been my “home” Walgreens for over 4 years and I have NEVER been helped within 35 minutes. Today I was on hold for over 40 min between 3 calls because I was hung up on twice. I learned the only way to speak with someone here and actually receive assistance, is to request to speak to the Store Manager. That is ridiculous. Figure it out Walgreens. Either don’t loose my prescription so I won’t have to call and get this resolved or answer the phone rather than making your already angry customer, livid. Don’t waste your time filling your prescriptions here.

2021-09-08Customer service is terrible. Im a physician and cant even get a hold of a pharmacist to place an order for a prescription. They put you on hold repeatedly and never answer. Sounds like they answer when hold period runs out and phone rings only to place you back on hold.Unfortunate. I realize they may be busy but if a clarification or emergency occurs and a pharmacist is needed to be spoken to this could be a liability.
