I brought my cousin to this shop to get her nails done and she said the person ignored her the whole time.Then he asked her if she like fried chicken (she is black). That was very disrespectful! He’s the male with long hair and usually wears it in a ponytail. Will never go here again.
This place was not that great i felt like they were rushing to get my nails done and it cost more they show me the The list for my feet and it said $40 but I got charged $42 and $52 for my nails . If your going to charge more then everyone else then make sure your doing a great job will not be going back.
I’ve been coming here for a few years and it’s always great service. Ana is always great with nail design. Highly recommend.

My first experience and Im very well satisfied. I forgot the lady name who did my nails I think its Anna she was nice and the whole environment felt amazing. I drove a hour to get here because I found them on Google and they had good reviews. As well as enough pictures to know this is the place that will do what I want to my nails. A bit pricey but overall a wonderful place. I also like how they have enough workers so you wont have to wait a while. I will be back next month.
The space is big and nice, employees are nice. Though my nail technician was a little rough, which I thought would result in strong results, this happened the morning after 😔. Wanted to like it but for $45 for no chip, with my own nails except one that broke so I had to get a fake one, this shouldnt have broken already. I wanted to like this place more.
I love that they have several color options but sometimes can be intimidating since there is no order to them. They are convenient, spacious, strip mall so parking is never an issue, safe location. The techs are good! They are a bit on the costly side though.
Like any salon, your experience will depend on who performs your service. Ive had pedicures that were luxurious, and Ive had one where they didnt turn on the massage chair and the whole thing felt rough and rushed. But overall Ive had more good experiences than bad and will continue to return.
I absolutely love the new ownership of this nail salon! It truly feels like a family. Every single person working here is friendly, takes their time and listens to exactly how you’d like your nails to look, down to the shape and design being perfect. I always walk away feeling satisfied. Anna owns the shop and is such a wonderful woman. The atmosphere is very clean as well, which is super important to me as a quality in a nail shop!
As always amazingggggAnna, Vivian and Bryan are incredible. But honestly the entire staff is such a pleasure. So happy to support this business.
First of all the prices are out of the roof! I supposedly got a no chip manicure and as you can see in the photo they are alreadycrusty! ( it’s been two days barely ) And then the The lady said it was 74 and I gave her 80 and she only gave me two dollars back I was going to tip but since she decided to give her self a 4 dollar tip I didn’t bother. Overall don’t go there
Used to be nice when they first reopened under Vt nails but that has since changed. Paid for deluxe pedicure and she did not clean under the nails with much effort at all, the polish was thick and uneven. Dont waste your hard earned money here. Wont be back.
Love My girl Lisa❤️❤️ the atmosphere is very relaxing especially on days when its not crowded and everyone does nail art so its a win win never a long wait and they take their time
I visited this place for the first time and was satisfied. The staff was very nice and polite. Anna did great I told her what I wanted and she did just the way I wanted it with no problem. I will be returning to this location.
First time going there with a friend for pedicures. The woman I had was rough and my big toes have been sore since. Swollen and hurts just to walk with shoes and even touch them and now have something in the side of my toe! Never going again. I went on December 30th
Very unprofessional, there service is fast and furious they don’t clean nails well they act like they are cleaning the cuticles but they really aren’t , also when you ask for extra services they want to do it so fast you pay extra for no extra doings , very bad services will never come back to this placeOne more thing they talk about Everyone in there language.If there was an option for no stars or below stars that’s the rating I would give them .Nail professional that was unprofessional opted out on me while doing my nails because she did not like that I put her in place and position while trying to do my nails so fast so I can pay my money for an extra service that I’m paying for not to have it done
Absolutely horrible! I will never come here again. I had a no chip manicure done on Sunday. I came back today (Thursday) to have them fixed. They wanted to charge me $45 to re-do my nails. This is after I paid for them to be done on Sunday. It was an inconvenience to take time out of my schedule to come back to get my nails fixed in the 1st place! I will no longer do business with this establishment. A RIP OFF!!!!
Pricing is def higher than my usual place but understandable due to the pandemic. I would not mind paying if service was up to expectations, however my acrylics are extremely thick, seems the tips are either too small or did not get glued well as everything gets caught between the tip and my real nail due to a gap, acrylic was placed outside of my nail bed, onto the cuticle area, which has now chipped off. The pedicure was great, except for the tech not being able to give the French design I was asking for, seems such a traditional French design is very uncommon nowadays

I’ve been here multiple times and the service is okay. i called today to schedule an appointment for 2 sets and the girl on the phone insisted on us not making one and just walking in because there was enough people there to take care of us. instead we walked in 2 hours after i had called and there were probably 3 staff members and 4 people waiting.. the services they provide are not worth waiting for and id recommend just going to an independent nail artist if you’re looking for someone with quality & consideration of your time.
Do not even bother. All of the nail polish is old, dried out & crusty. I called ahead to see what the wait time was for a pedicure, they told me 5 mins. I went, they sat me in a chair for 30 mins. Someone finally came, Told me I was getting the basic pedicure (did not even give me an option of anything else, which I gladly would’ve done something more than the basic). I waited longer in the chair than my pedicure took. The pedicure was rushed & not relaxing in the least bit. They don’t even have a drying station (or one that they asked me to sit at for my toes to dry). I have my usual place I like to go. I won’t be straying from there again
Anna is amazing! And I know there are other very talented techs! They have a wide selection of colors and can pretty much do any special design. Definitely recommend Vt nails!
This was my first time at VT nails and I think her name was Cindy — she did a wonderful job! I got no chip and she was very meticulous and careful and made my cuticles so beautiful, as well as my nails! I will definitely be back!
Went in for a mani pedi and ended up leaving with just the pedi because they rushed through it. My sister sat down for a pedicure 5 mins before me and she was done well after me. I didn’t get the women’s name who did my pedicure but she did not put any effort at all. I will not be going back. The place I usually go to has better service and lower prices.
Anna and her staff, especially Lisa, do an amazing job and find a way to be quick, but extremely detailed and make sure yo are happy before you walk out the door. I highly recommend for any and all occasions and plan on returning whenever i need nail care!!!
So today I got a glitter milk bath and its stunning! And no chip!! All for a good price. Very nice and professional this nail shop is definitely riding the wave and have acrylic powder options above regular nail polish. I love the work and will be coming back for more!

Im really not one to do reviews in general at all, but I think this is important.First time I went to this salon was GREAT, I had a pedicure and the man was so nice and personable. I thought I found my new favorite salon and I was so excited.Second time I went, it felt like I was charged for blinking and breathing and sitting. I was almost charged a whole extra 10 dollars for the nail tech to pick off an old piece of acrylic I had on ONE of my thumbs. They really tried to charge me a full nail take off price for that. During that session, the nail tech was so rough and made my cuticles bleed multiple times. He also upcharged me, saying the shape I want cost more money? For a general round shape? That was a first. Why price things the way that they are advertised if youre only going to upcharge the service every single time anyway. There should be no reason I paid $50 for a basic plain color full set with nothing out of the ordinary done that was priced $35 on your service board.Decided to go in for a pedicure the other day and the tech was so rough and in a hurry since I was her last customer, my nails were sore the next three days.This salon should really put up a cash only for tips sign. The times I went there, they seem to not care that people dont have cash on them sometimes and will force them to go next door to the bank ATM. A simple sign would allow everyone to be prepared before they start their service.I really loved this place the first time I went and had nothing but good things to say to my friends and others about this salon but the experiences following werent the best. They truly do a great job but their customer service needs work and they need to be more honest about their pricing. IF you are deciding to go here, reiterate the price they advertise with them because otherwise youll walk out overpaying for things youd never expect.
Technician was nice but... My nails were done 4 days ago and I have multiple fingers with cut up bleeding cuticles. The shapes are uneven, feel bumpy, and already the ANC is rising up and chipped. He filed the polish down way too low, you can see my finger nails which you are not supposed to with this color. I usually have my manicure last 2 to 3 weeks and I’m not sure if this will last a full week. Very badly done. 45 dollars of wasted money as I can was in a rush and traveling. Couldn’t have it fixed it if I wanted to. Also didn’t have 2 colors I originally send for. They need to restock or take color off ring if it is not available. Hopefully other technicians do a much better job.
I asked for ombre nails coffin shaped. The lady insisted doing them long when i told her a little shorter. She was rough handling my hands and just rude. I paid over 90$ for those nails plus pedicure. Pedicure was absolutely fine. Theres glue and the painting thing over passed my nail on my skin. First time customer here , never going again . Over taxed just for a bad outcome. 👎🏻
I love this place so much! They are so sweet and friendly and make you feel welcomed. I never had my eyebrows done by anyone other than my sister-in-law, so when I got them waxed here I was super worried about it. They did a FANTASTIC JOB! My eyebrows are beautifully shaped and so clean. I was in and out in under 5 minutes! Annas nail designs are to die for and the pedicures are the best. I took my niece here for one and they treated her wonderfully and were so sweet. I have found my favorite place.
I went in on a whim Friday to get a full set of dip nails. I haven’t had my nails done since I was 18 and all they had were square-tipped acrylics! Needless to say, this was a far better experience. The price was fair, and i experienced no pain due to sloppy cuticle work/aggressive buffing. My nail tech was friendly and gentle, and he did a beautiful job. I have perfect Barbie pink glittery jelly-looking stiletto nails and I am OBSESSED! Will definitely be back.
Very nice,clean and calm atmosphere,the staff was very kind, friendly and professional. Nails and pedicure were fantastic and done with a great deal of passion. They dont rush you in an out. I will definitely be a returning customer, loved it!
As seen on pictures not even 24 hours later my nail began to chip. I went in to get a Regular pedi and a Dip Mani for $73 not including tip. Very expensive. All my nails are uneven and also will begin to chip because the tips were not covered properly with dip. I cannot go correct the problem because I thought this salon was a quality place of business so I choose to come here and give it a try before my vacation. I wouldnt recommend the dip manicure here. Im not sure if any other services are better or worst. Just sharing my experience.
I had such a crappy nail experience recently from a different salon, & I went into VT feeling nervous. I have honestly never left a nail salon more satisfied in my life. I tried out the powder dip for the first time & Cindy did my manicure. Everything is absolutely perfect from the shape, the color, & just how clean my nails look. She took her time cutting my cuticles & she also gave me a shoulder massage. Although the shoulder massage was a little aggressive or rough, she didn’t hurt me at all while working on my nails. I will definitely be back!!
The woman in there are great. But the gentleman that did my nails you would think he was fresh out of nail school. I had several nail that was crooked. he did whatever he wanted to my nail not what I asked for. He filed one of my fingers so much to the point it started bleeding. overall the experience was the absolutely horrible. I tried this place twice. the first time with the ladies was great. but after this last time I will never return.
This nail salon is great, one the best I’ve been to and I’ve been getting my nails done all over IL for years. I strongly recommended Nicki and Eva, they are the best nail techs there in my opinion. They do amazing work for dip nails sets!
I went to VT Nails yesterday,it was my 1st and LAST time! Upon arriving inside the nail salon,I gave my name and told them I had a 10am appointment. One tech whom had a mask covering only her chin(nose and mouth exposed),said well be right with you. I stood at the front of the salon and started looking around to see where I should check in. I immediately saw dust on the floor and nail stations, as well as the check in desk. The color wheel was laying on the dusty check in desk,I was hesitant to touch it,especially since no one needs to be touching much of anything during this pandemic. I picked it up anyway and began looking through the colors. The same lady said to me are you getting no chip on your toes,I said no,just regular polish. Then she said the regular polish is over there & pointed to the wall where looks like over 100 bottles of polish were. I said to her,I found a color on the color wheel,she said No,you have to pick your color from the wall. I said why,this no chip polish clearly states it has a matching color. Then I said nobody needs to be touching all of these polishes anyway. As I was about to leave, a male tech came to the front and said maam are you ready. I said well this lady is telling me I have to pick a color from all the colors on the wall,instead of picking a color from the color wheel. The other tech looked at the lady tech and said what are you talking about? The lady tech said well if you want to get the color for her you can, but we arent supposed to unless they are getting no chip. I said to the lady,I have been to lots of nail salons, they all have matching no chip & regular colors. The male tech led me to a pedicure chair. I was highly annoyed by this point and just wanted to leave. He was nice and apologized for the female tech. He said I dont know what shes talking about. The female tech continued to talk to other techs in the salon. She still didnt cover her mouth or nose with her mask. It was really annoying as people come to get a pedicure to relax,not to hear techs talking and laughing amongst themselves. A few minutes went by and 3 more techs arrived at the nail salon. I immediately saw the female tech pull her mask up to cover her nose and mouth. It was clear one of the 3 techs was the manager of the salon. She looked at the female tech and said why are you wearing shorts, we cant wear shorts to work. The female tech said well I can run home to change. She proceeded to talk to another tech about her eyebrows before leaving the salon to go change her shorts. After she left I heard my male tech speak in his native language about what occurred with me picking a polish. He was pointing to the polish,while speaking about it. He then apologized once again to me. The encounter with the female tech ruined the whole experience for me. I shouldve left at the beginning when I wanted to. He did an OK job on my toes, Ive had alot better though! I did leave him a tip because ultimately it wasnt his fault. No one ever checked me in,so they have NO record of me being at the nail salon. I did ask for a receipt for my own records just in case I get a fungal infection on my toes from being there. Dont waste your time going there,Im sure it wont be a good experience, and the salon didnt look very clean to me. No one wears name tags,so you cant even identify who serviced you.

This is a great place to get a pedicure. My family and I stop at another place and the said 20 minute wait. Ha yeah right...went to Dream Nails and no wait. The atmosphere was peaceful, call and the color in the store is vibrant. This will be a place we will definitely be visiting again. All the way from Iowa .. This is great place to feel your in a pleasant environment.
Honestly upset I got charged $50 for a soak off and full set when they definitely didn’t soak anything, just pried the previous acrylic off(could’ve done that myself at home) Then apparently it got busy so my polish application was rushed and sloppy. Also my cuticles are pulsating in pain. Definitely not returning
I had a terrible experience here I have gone first I requested French tip mani and pedi. Their machine was broken so I guess it was difficult for them so they kept making comments and rolling their eyes making me very uncomfortable. Then I told them to do French tip acrylic mani and she’s nodding and repeatedly saying yes yes to basically shut me up she STILL got it wrong and I ended up having to pick a solid color because the nails she put on me weren’t for French. I would’ve insisted to have french but I had already been there for two hours and was fed up with the attitude at this point l. I tried being nice hoping it’ll change their attitude towards me. After all that I was still not gonna write a bad review, I have done my nails for years I left this establishment with basically cubes for fingernails amd that did it for me and my no chip pedi chipped within an hour of leaving. Worse service, I wanna cry looking at my nails never again I regret every dollar I spent their I am terrible upset.
I came into this shop in as a last minute decision, best choice i ever made! Im in love with this shop and i will definitely be returning and referring everyone i know! They are very polite and professional. The space is beautiful, clean and smells fresh. the atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant. The pedicure is amazing. They definitely take their time and dont rush you out the door. My nails are perfect! they even give you a neck massage. Best nail experience ive ever had and ive been getting my nail done for almost 14 years.
I gave three stars because they are very good at what they do. But, this is the most expensive nail salon I have been to in my entire life. Last week, I went for a fill in, and it cost me $43!!!! I also got a pedicure, at which they told me it was $24. When I asked for no chip (gel) they never told me the up charge was $48!!!! I spent $91 on something that shouldn’t be $91!!!
Walked in for a pedicure. Staff was rude aside from the ONE woman who greeted me when I walked in and she was barely nice. The guy who did my pedi was a total joke, looked like he he didn’t want to work and was barely even touching my feet to do anything affective- and I don’t have bad feet at all. Had another woman paint my toes because I guess he got annoyed I wanted a different color than the one I originally chose because the polish was clearly old and he was too lazy to at least put some thinner in it so it’ll apply evenly. Then they have the nerve to charge more than what places typically charge. My cuticles look completely untouched. They’re messy and sloppy in the salon. Never again...
This was a horrible visit.I went in to get my gel over lay soaked off, the nail technician tried to peel the acrylic off my nails and the ones she got off ruined my natural nails. She cut ryem to short. To say im angry is an understatement. There is only one tech there worth going to and her name is Cindy. Cindy is off on Tuesdays. Shes the only person I will let do my nails there again.They get one star for being quick.

I got my nails done here on Mother’s Day by Eva - she was absolutely phenomenal! She really took her time and made my nails look amazing! I highly recommend this place and her!
Went in for a manicure. It was a sloppy and careless job. Nails improperly filed and still jagged, nail polish on skin, instead of cutting off broken nail it was glued down, the polish on glued nail chunky, and hands left feeling incredibly dry. Incredibly disappointing for something so simple.
I think this place is going downhill. I have been coming here ever since they opened. They always used quality products but this time my polish on my nails didnt even last a day! And the polish on my last pedi didnt last as long as previous ones either! Very disappointed!

It’s been really hard finding a nail salon in Chicago but I think I finally found my home . Sanitary, updated facilities with modern equipment and chairs . Nail techs are friendly and customer service oriented most importantly what any good nail salon or tech must have SKILLS . Fast service but not rushed /sloppy. beautiful assortment of many many colors the NEW-NEW ish gel colors, dips, OPI, not dried out half bottles of polish.
The service here wasnt very good. My no chip mani chipped within 2 days. And forget about my poor pedi that smudged within the first few hours. They did fix the chipped nail at no charge but they seemed too not be enthused by having to do so.
First time going and I saw Anna. I took a 45 minute drive just because I love her work on Instagram. I love my nails and the services was great. I will be going back!!!
The place its self is nice there are alot of workers so you dont have to wait forever but it was a little pricey. A couple of nails are crooked and for what you pay they should at least be straight. I will be going elsewhere next time
This is my go-to nail salon. They give great manis and pedis, but if you get both expect to be there for at least 2 hours minimum. I highly recommend booking an appointment with the owner, (her insta handle is: designsnailanna) she is super talented!!
Anna is amazing! She will try anything for you! This is the only place I have found that does designs like this. I love that I can find a picture online and she can I’ll duplicate it! They have a HUGE powder selection as well as little studs and diamonds and even bows!
The girl with the grey shirt on Friday is seriously so nice, accepting and awesome! I think she does manicures, this place is a MUST if you love professionalism.
Very unprofessional and rude made an appointment and still made us wait more than an hour. This isnt the first time they do this. If you are busy and understaffed do not take more appointments and waste peoples time.

Awful had my nails done on a Monday and it’s now Thursday and there chipping. I asked the one guy dip for my nails and he said your nails to short. I’ll paint with regular polish. Never going her ever agian!
NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN! Horrible pedicure, the water was cold wax was cold. By the time I got home my right foot toe nails were all messed up. I asked for a refund and was told to pick a color and sit down.
They cut not one but a few of my fingers. They do not clean their tools and did not clean any of my cuts. Immediately went home to clean them and I’m truly hoping I don’t get an infection.
It was my first time here and I won’t be going back. It’s overpriced and not worth it at all. $65 for a basic acrylic full set.

2022-07-26The nails just feel chunky and gross. The man started off hiccuping and burping for the first 20 mins. Then he chopped off a chunk of my toe causing me to bleed and left with pain. Then cut me twice more on my hands. This was the most stressful and irritating time spent here. I will never return. Soo upset I didn’t want to cause a scene and chose to pay and just leave as fast as I could. What a waste of my hard earned money!

2021-12-03Update: So I called back, like I was asked to do, and I was basically told that if the nails looked fine then I would be charged to fix them. I am so disappointed that I wasted money here.Its a nice place and the people are friendly, however, I feel like the girl rushed to get my nails done. She missed some edges and didnt even clean the extra polish off the sides of my nails. Plus one nail had way too much extra gel on the side that I had to trim off.Im a little upset since this was the first time I had ever been there.

2022-09-03If I could leave 0 I would. Not only was this $47 for a FILL IN, but this has been the worst set I ever had. They were uneven, bumpy and overall not shapped correctly. The man who did my nails was on his phone, didn’t want me to use my preferred color, and on top of that gave me tiny cuts on all my fingers. If you want good service go somewhere else. For $47 I expected a lot more.

2022-06-18Well I dont recommend..service was rushed and mediocre. If you dont spend a lot of money for your services then youre belittled. There are no dryers for your feet (because they only encourage no chip) just have to sit in a chair in the front of the store. The lady didnt come back and check on me, remove the toe separators, or give me oil. Not treated well at all.

2021-07-31!!PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!I got a non chip manicure and I was unhappy with my nails.They’re too square when I asked them for roundAnd the nail polish did not cover the cuticles. It looks as if my nails grew with the nail polish on.I asked the lady in charge and she said it’s supposed to look like that and they did a very good job. They did not want to give a refund and I didn’t even want to stick around for them to fix it or even remove it.The lady we talked to was very rude and insisted it was a good job.I had to remove the polish and fix my nails theybutchered.It was super expensive too for the horrible job they did. Please go to another salon, it was not worth the 35 dollars.

2021-07-04Brian is awesome! So funny and entertaining while doing an excellent job on your nails. Also had a pedicure and it felt amazing. Perfect place to pamper my exhausted (and long overdue) feet. Customers and staff alike were easy to chat with and very nice as well. Will definitely return 😊

2022-08-06Hands down the best nail salon around the Oak lawn area!! Everyone there is so friendly , environment is clean. Eva is who I see and I absolutely love how she does my nails every single time.

2021-09-03I had a pedi that was rushed and the lady who did my fill in burned me several times. The shop is filthy and needs a deep cleaning. I felt unsafe especially during the pandemic. I will never return!

2021-07-04So I’ve been looking for a new nail shop and figure I’ll book an appointment with this company. Get the guy was great at preparing everyone for their service while the other technicians arrived. Pedicure was awesome I was more concerned with the nails. I wanted a a soak off and a full set once the nail tech arrive she asked “ you with the appt” I said yes she then came over and wanted to see if she could pop off all my nails two of them came with no problem. But when I got to her chair the other ones wasn’t as bad as the two the pop off the should have been filed down or soak as I preferred. The nail tech inform that soaking the nail might make it weak for the new set okay I guess but just popping them off was painful when it came time to do the full set she place fake nails on that were too small for my nail and continue to place the acrylic over I asked for a specific shape and I had to ask her to correct it when she got down squaring them the shop became business and she was trying to meet everyone needs that she didn’t take her time with my nails and I was the one being service now my nails has a lift in them and anything I touch such food etc crumbs go between the fake nail and my real one I booked with Anna but will not be going back. I’m usual a decent tipper but chose not too. Definitely don’t rush with me when I’m a paying customer

2022-08-06My cousin went to this nail shop recently and was rudely ignored by a particular manicurist. The one time that he did talk to her was to ask her if she like fried chicken and talking about it with a coworker (my cousin is black). This is unacceptable and perpetuates an ignorant stereotype. The manicurist is a male with long black hair typically worn in a ponytail. This behavior is unprofessional to say the least. They will never get my business again.
