2020-12-12I stopped into Vinissimo and picked up a few bottles for the holidays. I loved the space and Guy was very helpful in helping me select a few bottles (Im not very wine knowledgeable) that were in my price range. The selection is wide, with wines from all over the world, but not overwhelming. Great experience here and Im glad to have a go-to wine shop in the area. Well done Vinissimo!

2020-12-15Driving down Central St in Evanston and excited to see the brown paper off of the windows at Vinissimo. Parked the car and went in to check it out. I love the space, but more importantly I love the wines. I saw a few of my favorites on the shelf, but talked with the owner, Guy, about some of the other wines. He was very knowledgeable, and after a few questions of my likes and dislikes he put together a mixed case of wines to explore. My wife and I loved the first three bottles he recommended and are looking forward to trying the rest. Our new go to wine shop. Check it out and I am sure it will become yours too.

2021-07-06Terrific locally-owned wine shop, specializing in Italian, but with a broad range of wines and even some hard liquor. Guy - as others have correctly noted - is knowledgeable, helpful and incredibly nice. Definitely a local find - the kind of store you feel lucky to discover! No wonder it’s gaining such a devoted local following.

2020-12-13My husband and I stopped by Vinissimo Wine Shop last week and we were blown away by the selection. Guy clearly knows his wines. He helped us choose the perfect bottles for a weeknight dinner and for those special occasions.When the time comes when we can go to parties again and need to bring the perfect hostess gifts, I know where Ill be buying my wine for those events too.

2020-12-12Picked up my first case of wine from Vinissimo this week. Guy, the vintner, put together a great selection of reasonably priced wines, to match our tastes. Always excited to see a family run small business open, even more in today’s environment. Central St. Evanston has evolved over the last few years and Vinissimo is the perfect edition. 🍷🍾
