I would like to thank Eric Reyes for his outstanding customer service at Verizon. Eric was very helpful and answered all of my questions clearly. Eric made my experience switching from AT&T to Verizon very smooth. I got the Iphone12 pro and I am very happy I chose Verizon because of how helpful Eric was in assisting me.
If your in need of a phone, if your wanting honest quality answers on your needs this is a very good Verizon location to go to! Today Victor M helped me in getting a new phone, prior to going in I couldn’t decide whether to get a iPhone 12 Pro or IPhone 12 Pro Max. I ended up getting a pro max due to it being the ideal size for me. The one thing I greatly appreciated was that he pulled up a rough quote of what my bill will be now due to my new phone, which let me make the right decision today! As well as he made sure to get all my content transferred over before I left to make sure that there was no risk of losing my information from the phone. Definitely will promote this location and Victor M to my friends as well as family!
So I called the store around 530pm on New Year’s Eve and asked what time they close, the employee on the phone told me 7pm sir. I proceed to do what I needed to do around the house and got to the mall around 6:05pm and found the main entrance to be locked, went to the food court doors and was met with a security guard that told me the man was closed. I told her I had called to be sure Verizon would be open, she radios and asks if they are, she proceeded to tell me nope they are closed. I called Verizon and the same employee answered, explained what was going on, and he met me at the main entrance to let me in! I already knew what I was going to get so it went quickly. I got the new iPhone, some air pod Max’s, a case and all my info transferred all before they actually closed!Big shout out to Victor M! He was super helpful and professional and I personally feel he went above and beyond the call of duty to help a Verizon customer! 10/10 would recommend.
I went in to get a free SIM Card for a new phone because Verizon told me to do so. Turns out the VZ Corporate doesnt run this store, so VZC gave me bad information and the SIM Cards are not free. Sebastian was exceptional at handling this unfortunate situation. He was polite and professional, yet personal. I realized that Corporate gave me bad information and put their partner store at risk. This wasnt Sebastians fault. I was going to leave upset, but he went out of his way to help me find a solution that didnt cost so much. We even laughed about it. Way to go, Sebastian! I didnt like having to pay for something that was supposed to be free, but your demeanor was exceptional and you turned a bad situation into a WIN! VZ Corporate dropped the ball, but I left happy enough to write this review. Give Sebastian a raise or a commendation! He deserves it!
Victor Martinez helped us purchase 2 new phones. He had great wealth of knowledge on the phones and explained the new packages we switched to on our 5 lines. Victor made the whole process seamless and made sure to offer us the best deal that fit our needs. The store is very clean and follows all necessary Covid guidelines. Thanks Victor!!
My husband and I went into this Verizon store after being long time customers of AT&T (9+ years). Their customer service had been atrocious after we were told they did not babysit their customers by helping them set up their phones in the store. If we were interested in upgrading both our phones it would take a few weeks to get them delivered to out house. I had been a Verizon customer in the past, and only switched to get a cheaper price with AT&T.Walking into this location we were immediately greeted by Lucas. He offered a warm smile, handshake, pulled the chair out for me as we sat down at his desk. He answered all of our questions with a smile, and went above and beyond for us. He got our accounts set up on both of our new phones. Lucas helped us transfer all of our information, put on both of our screen protectors and cases, set up autopay to get a discount. While he was setting us us, one of his associates offered us water, only confirming how great their customer service is. My husband and I are thrilled to have switched over, and feel Lucas did an amazing job assisting us. He was sure to look into getting us a military discount also as my husband is an active duty Marine.
This place is absolutely probably the best Verizon I found around, I went into Chicago Im down to Orland and I checked a few stores. This place does their job to the max, the crew actually acted like sales people and sold me a phone with a plan. With 30 minutes to close, I was serviced, viewed plans, considered options for phones and they made a sale. Two members that took care of us today was funny and polite and understanding despite how tough our situation was.
I just visited this location after showing up for an appointment I had at the Orland Park store and found they closed permanently and didnt contact any customers who had made reservations days in advance. I was very disappointed and was on hold with Verizon the whole car trip getting no help.I arrived at Chicago Ridge and after about a 3 minute wait was checked in with Nate. BIG DIFFERENCE!This guy was great. He walked me through a very complex issue with my Google accounts and went way past the extra mile. He went so far as using his personal email to check that all he did was correct.Saved my phone and my night.Thank you Nate!
Lucas at the Chicago Ridge Verizon store was absolutely amazing. He went into every detail, super helpful and understanding. I have went to multiple other phone company’s and every single employee was either rude and never knew what they were talking about. Lucas is the total opposite. His customer service is outstanding along with being able to get out us out in a timely manner.
Greg was honest, had great communication and customer service was excellent! Took his time to go above and beyond, definitely will be back and requesting him again! Very helpful and a good understanding and knowledge of product and service he was selling. Definitely recommend him.

They seemed pleasant at first but after my elderly father had questions the nice guy act went out the window! We wanted a simple flip phone and he tried to talk my father into iPhone. He is 63....he calls his kids and his grandchildren! After purchasing the phone they tried to offer a gift certificate in exchange for a good review...again knowing my father is elderly and wouldnt even begin to know how to do this! If your service is that wonderful.. you wouldnt need to pay people for the reviews!
Patrick is the BEST! He was extremely knowledgeable of the products. He has great customer service skills. He greeted my husband and I right away and asked our names. He went above and beyond to solve my issues. I left that store feeling appreciated and valued. Furthermore, he remembered my name, Shashionia!
We had the pleasure of getting our phones up graded twice at this store, both times the experience was outstanding. If you need a phone this is the store for you! Ask for Abe or Samantha! They were kind and courteous, extremely knowledgeable about the products, went out of their way to find us the best deal and explain anything we didn’t understand which as an older couple dealing with new technologies was so appreciated! Lucas was knowledgeable and did not beat around the bush with us like our normal experiences in the past have been. He cut right to the point, gave us a great deal, and we got more then what we anticipated! We also got a early Christmas gift tablet for my son because he made the numbers work out and make sense! Verizon provided me with fantastic customer service today! Sales associate Mr. Cristian Figueroa was extremely helpful and excellent! He took care of all of my answers and concerns of my phone needs! On Saturday night , the salesman Patrick, not only sold me a phone but taught me more about cellphones , explained how the phones work ( choices and types) than Ive ever known. Ive been a customer of this Verizon store for over 23 years so Im pleased to admit that this visit was an encyclopedic lesson. A salesman doesnt have to do this . Patrick walked me through the whole process of purchasing a phone enduring my questions. If so you need a phone than ask for Patrick . I would gladly go back and buy another phone from him.The store was spotless. There was no pressure to buy. They dont mind explaining stuff that comes natural to techies which Im not. Ask for Patrick as he really made an effort today and I walked out educated and happy.
My experience was phenomenal. I came in a with a broken phone and needed a new one. Mark helped me every step of the way, he showed me multiple phones and thoroughly explained their capabilities and we found one that suited my needs. I now have the Galaxy Note 9 and I couldnt be happier with it. The process was quick and painless, I will definitely be returning to that location to work with Mark in the future.
I will not be a returning customer. I needed a new case for my phone (after my car accident broke it) and Im glad to have a new one. The problem was they seemed more concerned on trying to sell us a tablet when my bill for my phones and electronics are already at 500 a month. Thanks for the 10% discount (sarcasm) and being a Verizon customer for 15 years. This is why I dont work with corporate anymore and have the individual owners to work with. Hello. I would like to see that the VP of customer relations receives this. On Sunday, August 30, 2021 I discovered that my phone was not operating. As a managing broker of a major real estate co in the Chicagoland area, I cannot be without my phone for 3 minutes. I visited the Verizon retail store in Chicago Ridge, Il.60415. Mr. Anthony Hernandez is one of the very best customer care specialists I have ever met. I truly hope that this young man is appreciated, as well recognized for the exemplary service that he provides. My experience here was not very good let me explain I walked into what, I thought was a certified Verizon store and explained that my phone Samsung Galaxy 8+ kept overheating on me and was losing its charge, I replaced the cord and purchased another one with the same problem, I had left it charged up overnight and it was dead the next morning so I would have the phone charging in front of a fan or air conditioning in the vehicle.The representative noticed it was hot from the time I walked out of my vehicle through an air conditioning mall to the store.He explained that it was one of 2 things the battery or motherboard but after my complete testimony on the series of issues experienced with the phone he stated that it was my motherboard and that the phone had to be replaced, I explained to him that I had insurance on my phone, he asked me for my phone number and informed me that, I had to pay a $200 deductible and that the phone was going to be refurbished.Needless to say I explained that it was asinine to pay $200 for a refurbished cellphone in that this will be my 3rd phone because in 11 months of purchasing this phone, I had the same issue but they sent me a new phone; furthermore just last year my sim card was replaced and in Nov or Dec of 2018 my sim card was replaced, so based upon his misinformation, I purchased a Motorola phone reluctantly because I needed a phone he seemed genuinely sincere.This is where the manure comes into play!I was charged $1000 for the phone but had to pay $35 for set up and was not pleased by this so, I called Verizon customer service and spoke to Desiree in Arizona for about an hour and 12 minutes and learned that the information, I received was not true and she was not familiar with their policies or fees because I was not at a corporate Verizon store and she apologized for experiences asked me for their address and zipcode.Furthermore, she stated had I called them a corporate store of Verizon, I would not have been charged for a set up fee.Because it was after hours she made detailed notes of my experiences so that the next tech could assist me getting another phone.The following morning, spoke to a Verizon tech Lyzete in corporate in California she and Desiree were lifesavers because I was contemplating trying to find a competitor of Verizon to try, I was on the phone with her for over an hour.She informed me that my phone was under warranty and is definitely insured she made a series of notes in the system so that, I didnt have to rehash all of the above, she scheduled me for a 1pm appointment in Evergreen they replaced the sim card from my Samsung phone and reactivated it deactivating the Motorola.The Evergreen corporate store ordered me another phone and all corporate reps advised me to stick with corporate Verizon in transactions involving my cellphone.It is most unfortunate in these Pandemic times some people are using these circumstances to take advantage or induce customers to act in manners they may not have to act because of the very type of people who are using their own positions for an unfair advantage.
I the most amazing experience at the Verizon wireless store. My family was helped with every problem we had. Everyone was so helpful and patient. Also the prices and discounts we received was pleasing to me. I saved so much money this time around. Thank you Verizon store in Chicago ridge mall in Illinois !
BE CAREFUL WITH THIS STORE, NOT A REAL VERIZON! CROOKS WORK HERE!!! Especially with a man named ANDREW MARTINEZ!! He tricked me to the fullest! He sold me the phone through financing and said that the phone will be unlocked after 30 days, but this turned out to be wrong, I have to wait 60 days.And the second thing he said that the monthly payment with all taxes will be 163$, but in fact they are now charging me 174$ per month.Than the third he said that I will have unlimited Internet, but now my Internet speed is so slow with such a big payment. And the last funny thing is that Andrew brazenly denies everything he said.It is clear that there is a sale agreement, but the seller’s words and the agreement must match! Otherwise, it will be considered fraud.
I experienced with Cristian sales representative was awesome. He provided me and my daughter with everything that we needed and more. I been Verizon for 4yrs and everytime i need help or an upgrade, i return to this location everytime. Theyre very helpful and get customer service....
Very disappointed at this location. Went in a few months ago to upgrade my phone. It felt like the first person I talked to spent more time trying to sell the phone they thought I should have than helping me complete the purchase I wanted to complete. Coming from a technology background I know my stuff and they clearly are told to or payed more to push these phones. Not once did they discuss that these phones did not qualify for the promotions I wanted to use and would significantly increase my bill. Do not let these people bully you. They are sales people looking to make money. Only person I could recommend if she still works there is Shannon. The one time I went in and her help us she was very helpful providing information without feeling like she was shoving a sales down our throats.
Abe is a very good sales man, he answered all of my questions. He is very patient especially considering I’m tech challenged. He is very knowledgeable about the products he sales and you can see he clearly has a passion for his job. I would recommend anyone wanting to get a new phone at Verizon in Chicago ridge to see Abe.
Ask for Jay, he really knows how to take care of a customer. Walked in with a bad phone and tried to do the insurance claim but the insurance company was giving me a hard time and not giving me the proper fix I needed. Jay took care of the problem to the best of his abilities and I left a happy camper.
Terrible customer service, they will gladly sell you a new phone, but if something goes wrong with that new phone nobody wants to deal with you. Bought myself a pixel 3 about a month ago, turned out defective, came in well before their 14 day return period, and after a lot of calling and traveling to the store it turns out it was never ordered. Now that the return period is over, Im stuck with a defective device and my only other option is to go through their Tech Coach system which gets me a refurbished phone. When I payed for the phone I expect a new phone, not a phone that was returned for whatever reason and cleaned up to look like new. Even after going through the GM, I now have the choice of keeping this defective phone or buying myself a pixel 4. Do yourself a favor and deal with a different store, because Im sure this authorized dealer does not represent Verizons customer service reputation.

He was the sales person that took the time to help meHook up my devices . Explained every step of the way what was going to happen with my account . So glad I got Dino for my sales person . This team is the cream of the crop when it comes to the definition of the word professional. Engaging, kind and respectful, I appreciated their willingness to work together. My go to guy is Abe. Constantly thinking of ways to save me $$ AND optimize my time. Hes a multi_tasker and has endless patience and a warm welcome at the end of the day. Rico was a big help transitioning from Tmobile to Verizon. He answered all of my questions and til this day is still a great help if I have any concerns. Great customer service. Will be back again when I need to open up more lines but will go to Rico ONLY. Highly recommended
Casey was down right awful. I couldn’t believe the way I was treated. He needs a lesson in costumer service. The worst “professional” I have ever dealt with. His skills are more suited for a janitor at the local McDonald’s. Head to the Verizon by Corner Bakery, those guys know how to treat people!
I had really very bad experience with this store.The guy there just want to make sales without even thinking about the customer needs.He told me to switch from T mobile and get $400 gift card and after I switched he called me and told me that I am not eligible for the gift card.Second of all, he told me that I Verizons operate on any of I phone 6 unlocked and above and I have phone 7 and my phone did not work with Verizon after I switched even I bought my phone from Apple Store unlocked and this cost me to buy new Verizon phone.I stayed with no service for four days and every day working hard to solve the issue.Then, he told me that if you order phone with us it will take two days for delivery and the phone it take seven days and he told me because of the delay that he will wave the fee for me and after I received my phone I asked him to wave the fee and he said that he doesnt charge any fee to wave. Also, after he activated my new phone he activated with a different number and this caused me to be without service again until I drove back to the store to fix the issue and retrieved my number.I never faced a terrible experience with carrier company the same as this
Casey must have thought that because I was women.. and from a foreign country.. I would be easy to upsell. It didnt work out for him and he continued a poor attitude through out our conversation! I left without purchasing the iPhone I was going to purchase for my son.
Jimmy, Abe and Casey were three of the worst team members I have encountered! All of them claimed to be the manager...nobody would get their story straight as to why I was lied to about a free phone! I was as polite as I could possibly be, but after a persons intelligence is continuously insulted it gets old! I will l be filing complaints with the BBB and cooperate!
The entire store is full of shady sales people. They push these garbage phones on you so they can make more off their sales. Their owner is a disgrace who pushes these practices. He must brainwash the screw you attitude to his sales people. Awful location. Julia was hands down one of the worst sales girls ever!
I went there with an issue because I wanted to change phones. There was a trainer who came from Florida who walked me through the process. She then accepted my other phone that I received from Verizon Corporate Office, which she indicated would be returned to them. Here we are two weeks later and I am receiving calls from Corporate looking for the phone. I called the store and not one account manager or store manager is available. So where is the phone and why is there no one there who can handle an issue such as this. I will not be using this store anymore!
Scam Artists at its finest! They are not a real Verizon store, therefor, they dont hold themselves to the Verizon standard! Ask for the manager, hes a real prize! Google search a real store, save yourself some time, and some aggravation. My bill was corrected at another store, and we all had a good laugh about the owner of this store!
Visited the store over the weekend to sign up for a new phone contract... sales men were pushy and tried to talk me into things I didn’t want. I caught them in a lie and walked out instantly. They were rude and told me they didn’t need my business! Verizon is a good company, this is just a bad store with horrible sales people.
I had came in for a new phone to update it. Ruben who was my sales rep for today, did amazing job on getting me a new phone and recommening different type and promos for the g7 thinQ. What I actually like is coming up to us and shaking our hand. Thank you Ruben for your services
I was just in to get help updating some features on my phone and was helped by Erik Walters. He was extremely helpful and went over and beyond what was needed to be done, giving him 5 stars isnt enough credit, he should be 10 stars for his patience and helpfulness, thank you again Erik!
Walked in yesterday to inquire about a phone. The salesman walked up to me and asked in a very snotty way what could he help me with.i asked how much was a phone and he replied quickly over one thousand dollars. Now I know this phone has gone down in price why didnt he offer a payment plan? But i asked no more info cause from his tone he sounded like i was a peasant and was bothering him.
Zero stars if I could. If came in for a quote and ended up getting billed to my house 400 bucks, no service, no phone, nothing for 400 bucks. Was taken back and forth over 8 times between the store and customer service for 4 months because, they couldnt find an account that didnt exist, and they fixed it, until I received the same bill. At the end and it was finally fixed, they want me to pay the taxes of 23 dollars. So is this what this company does ? Ripping off people ?
I would have given no stars if that was an option. The sales people are absolutely awful and will lie to you any chance they get. Derrick has to be one of the most unpleasant people I’ve have ever dearth it. He thinks he is above basic human decency... especially towards people of color. Save yourself a headache and find another store!
These guys aren’t even the real Verizon. They are an authorized store that taxes on its product in order to pay the real Verizon its financial dues. This kid told me Verizon was the best but he didn’t tell me how much they overcharge and finesse when it comes to the data usages..... should’ve known better than to trust a phone company in ridge
I went into the Chicago Ridge mall Verizon for assistance with transferring my info from damaged phone to my new Asurion insured NEW replacement phone. David Brodeak greated me and informed me he can handle the task. David took the time explaining everything everything and transferred all my contacts, photos and EVEN TEXT MESSAGES. Discriminate if you are black they dont help much like they help others .I went for undergradMy note 9. To get Note 20 ultra. They told. MeWait out. When someone. Out you come in i said ok couple customers out. I. Am still outside waiting. Its cold out. After 30 minutes I left.Please stop Discriminate. Help your customers equally. Without Discriminate. I will never come back to this store. My money i can anywhere I want.
One of the worst Verizon stores in the area. Very high pressure sales. All of the sales people are gathered in a corner laughing, avoiding their customers. When they do realize you are in there, it’s fake smiles and bs, hoping they can talk you into something. Try the Oaklawn location, they were great!
Jimmy the sales rep is a liar he says the phones will be free and end up not being free they charge you.... also says he will lower your bill drastically if you go with there “promo” phone they don’t... now promo phone doesn’t turn on after one month, so go talk to manager Casey basically just pawned me to owner of store who calls me a liar great business STAY AWAY

Extremely corruptionI had been trying to fix my plan for almost one year right now . I waste almost 18 hours of my life talking with the customer service and every time they promised to get back to me and they never . You Gotta be very very careful when you buy any products from them , I bought a phone to get the other one for free and until now I’m being for the second one as a full price .The people who work there they don’t know nothing
This 25-27 year old dude that looks like a 17 year old kid on a bulk basically finessed me with this crooked company that overcharges on data usage. Going back to at and t. No wonder this weak company never answers its phone calls.And no wonder they are fine with no contracts now. They just care mostly about selling phones.
I am particular about service agents. I know that if I have a chance to speak with Dave Eger I will leave with my questions answered. This particular store is a favorite. I travel to Indy frequently and know all of the stores where I can find him. This is one of those stores.

2022-03-16Victor was well trained and took us step by step on how to upgrade and save money at the same time. He also followed up with us if he had any concerns days afterwards. We spent over three hours with him and he was patient. I would recommend another visit at this location again.

2021-11-10Went in to have an issue involving a damaged phone resolved and the associate who helped me was Daniel Luna. He was fantastic. Super patient, helpful, and informative. Took the time to make sure I left happy. Was considering switching networks, but Mr Lunas help steered me back.

2021-10-24Absolutely the worst customer service in store and over the phone. Switched from T-Mobile a month ago and have had nothing but problems. Orders on my account vanish with no explanation. Waiting for phones for months. They screw up and don’t even apologize. I had more issues in 30 days than Iv had with T-Mobile over 10 years. Stay clear of this horrible company. The best part is when they tell me I’m wrong, they call CORE and CORE tells them I’m correct. They can’t admit when they are wrong and don’t apologize for any inconvenience they have caused. Wasted nothing but time and money with these people.

He not only assisted us on the purchase but, was available to answer multiple follow up questions that we had and helped us when we needed to work with customer service for adjustments that were not received. 2022-03-13Ive learned my lesson. Everybody was very friendly but clueless. Every visit resulted in them calling customer service... I could have done that at home. Waste of time.
