Went in, felt very comfortable. Experience was good but was very over priced. We were recommended a fecal test and the total for that was 75 dollars but looked around at other places and it turned out to be $35 in other reputable places. Kinda irritated that they overcharged us for something as such :/ had called for a refund and they were helpful with that!
They took good care of my baby by removing the mats behind her ears that developed from two weeks of wearing a cone.... and this location does have a nice staff... However, I specifically asked they leave at least an inch and a half of length on my beautiful cavapoo’s coat and instead I got her back basically shaved... maybe a half inch of length on her. I’m very unpleased with how my puppy’s first groom went. She hardly looks like my pup.
Incredibly attentive, caring, knowledgeable, and kind staff. We have had so many issues with our older kitty, and they always are so generous with their time and make sure we get all our questions answered. We have mostly dealt with Dr. Blentlinger and Dr. Grosse, but the whole staff is excellent. They have always done everything they can to figure out her problems, and call us back quickly to discuss results at length. I couldnt ask any more of a vet, they are really super here. Wait times have never been too long for us.We have also boarded her here several times, and I think she likes it better there than she does at home- she eats well there and gets lots of care and attention! I could go on and on, but they are awesome!!!
We used to go here for our dog Nikki but changed when we moved. The day Nikki passed I called here by accident about cremation. I called our Vet to check price and our vet was 3x as much. We came here and the staff was excellent to us during this time and patient with the family and our goodbyes. They provided a touching card, paw print in Clay the whole service was fantastic given the circumstances. If youre local this is the best place to go for your pet. It was the best many years ago and remains to be. Ill never forget the service this establishment provided me and my family during our time of need. Thank you to all the staff at VCA.
They wanted to cut my dog open for nothing!!!My dog was 8mo old when I got her from a shelter, she didn’t eat any dog food for the first 4 days. So I brought her here. They recommend an “exploratory surgery” because she didn’t eat and had a “bump” near her bladder. They said She was underweight. That I’d have to feed her a diet of beef and rice so she’d gain weight before the surgery.I took her to two more local vets the very next day. BOTH of them said she looks very healthy. That it’s normal for dogs in new homes to be stressed out and they might not eat until they are comfortable. She started eating normal dog food two days after this hack vet told me they needed to cut her open to take a look.
Jill Demers is the doctor Tinley has seen a few times and I have been extremely pleased with her professionalism and communication skills. I had to bring Tinley here during COVID so not only were we not with her normal vet during this time - but we had to drop her off at the door and do everything over the phone. In my initial phone call with Dr. Demers, she was an active participant in the consultation - asking questions and probing for more details, which I very much appreciated. On more than one occasion after a visit with Dr. Demers, I had a question after bringing Tinley home and the staff was fantastic about 1) relaying the question to the Dr. and 2) The Dr. responding to me via text message or email very quickly. Its imperative when dealing with the care of any animal or human that you are able to have an open communication with the doctor. The fact that Dr. Demers honors that in such an admirable way proves to me she really cares about her patients and their well being!
Wonderful care of my furry family, both cats and dogs, by Dr. Blentlinger for many years beginning at VCA Chicago and now I drive out to Naperville because I really trust her!! Very clean, well-managed facility. All the staff I’ve encountered have made our visits excellent.
I was very disappointed with how the vets try to make you spend as much money as you possibly can. This has happened both times I have used them, I thought the first time was just this particular vet but it happened again, the only focus is money. The desk people are wonderful but not the vets. They push any and all things related or non related to squeeze your pockets, I will not be returning nor am I cheap on my pets, Just the main feeling I get from them and how things went down both times.
They took good care of my cat, theres no doubt that they are good at what they do. However the price was more than one would expect. If you live close and money is not an issue theres no problem with it, but if you have a limited budget and especially if you need a procedure done I would highly highly recommend C-Vet which is just a few more minutes down 75th street at 25W007 75th St, just off the road, past jewel osco and before Walgreens and Wehrli, on the right. If it were not for C-Vet I would be unable to afford a much needed dental procedure for my cat which is ultimately a life or death matter, and the little guy is one of my best friends. They take just as good care if not better than Naper Ridge and Dr. Chang is very personal and forthcoming.
Vca Naperville. Been dealing w a very ill cat for months. They did surgery to remove a mammary mass which turned out to be cancer. Yes cats can get breast cancer & its wickedly aggressive. They allow me to make a pmt plan bc meds & surgery etc got quite pricey...5 wks after surgery & she healed beautifully it came back. The swelling at incision site caused it to reopen exposing a main artery/vessel. For 3 wks Ive had to take her in every 3 days for a pressure dressing. Its now spread to her lymphs & Ive elected to have her put to sleep. I cant let her suffer anymore. They have been so fabulous through this all. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to each & every staff member there for all theyve done all the time spent counselling me & tending to my kitty. Miss kittie just turned 13. It was a hard choice to make bc honestly she acts like nothings wrong. Still eats drinks uses bathroom...it wont be this way forever for her....it will only get much worse & she will become very sick weak & miserable. I HIGHLY recommend them. Dr Blentlinger is an angel in disguise. So very compassionate. Went above & beyond for me & miss kittie. Ill be forever grateful. 2 cats in 9 months with cancer has been very difficult to deal with but theyre patient & compasionate & always take thier time & are always available when I need to bring her in on the spot or just ask questions over the phone. They are amazing.
Ive been coming here for a few years now, and Ive yet to find anything less than fantastic. All of the staff here, that Ive met so far, are attentive and sweet. And, from what I have gathered, the vets really know what theyre doing! Any questions that I have had they answer fully and very comprehensively. I truly recommend this place!

2022-05-20I brought my dog in to get dental work up for bad gum inflammation, other vets would not take new patients or were not calling back to book. I saw Dr. Demers and she was amazing with Barney! He is a rescue and normally has to be muzzled at the vet or has bit/nipped during exams or lab draws. She examined his MOUTH and he didnt even mind! It was truly amazing. She was very informative and explained the plan moving forward for surgery. She even helped with a separate issue Barney was having and added on blood work to possibly help him not have to get a un needed procedure he had booked for the next month. I will be switching to see her for Barneys primary vet now. Very nice, smart, and caring! Dr. Demers is the best! She also sent the results of his lab work via text the next day. Very happy with the care with this doctor!

2019-02-26There are not enough words to express, how caring, compassionate, wonderful, fantastic, helpful, patient ...VCA Naperville truly is! Weve been bringing our dogs here for a few years, and recently lost a pet. Even though it was after hours, they reached out and EVERYONE in the office signed such a heartfelt little something about our Jameson. We recently got a pup and still have a senior dog, just diagnosed with diabetes. This is our home away from home. They are so quick to help, so informative, and always can get us in same day! They truly are the best! Wouldnt recommend any other Vet. From the Siers household, we thank you for everything you do for our family and guide us along the way!

2021-04-07Our barn cat got into a squabble with another cat and had several bit wounds. Dr. Bishop, with his knowledge, experience, professionalism, and compassion treated our barn cat. I am happy to say that within three days she is healing remarkably well with three of the wounds almost completely healed and the one very deep puncture wound is healing nicely. Dr. Bishop also sees out two house cats and have both received outstanding care. I would highly recommend Dr. Bishop for your pets needs/health.

2020-11-05Adopted our puppy, Hazel, from Starfish Animal Rescue. Her foster mom works at VCA Naper Ridge. I was so concerned with the spaying process but the fact that her foster mom was there, and I do believe having hazel there with someone she knew & trusted, made the healing process happen that much faster. I would 10/10 recommend this vet to anyone who wants their fur child treated like family. Because they absolutely do

2020-09-01Love VCA Naper Ridge! I have been coming here since we rescued our pitbull mix 11 yrs ago. The best staff and doctors! Everyone is kind, no questions go unanswered. I feel a true collaboration with the doctors who listen to what I tell them about my dogs condition at the time and assess accordingly. No oversell. Highly recommend!

2021-03-06Staff was very friendly and prompt as was our vet. This was my first time going here since my previous vet merged with VCA and they went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable with the change. I look forward to actually meeting them more formally once Life returns to normal!

2019-04-28The doctors and vet techs are so kind and knowledgeable, and their compassion for the animals is amazing. I bring both of my dogs to VCA Naper Ridge and the entire staff remember both of them each time we come, and spoil them with attention. My younger dog had always suffered from anxiety when I took him to the vet, and he feels right at home here and loves the staff. I would recommend VCA Naper Ridge to anyone, and all of the doctors are equally knowledgeable and caring.
