What STELLAR customer service! I received my skin care products and makeup in the mail and I cant say enough about Liz Steffen and her attention to detail. Her bronzer is the BOMB! It is a must for any woman ALL YEAR long!! I am so in love. It gives me such a GLOW!! Surfer Girl and Medium Bronzer are my new favs! Thank you for taking such good care of me! The ladies at Vanilla Sugar are amazing! They always make me feel comfortable and are extremely thoughtful and accommodating. Liz has transformed my skin (and my confidence) through the acne program, and I am so grateful. The products Liz has crafted truly work. Kelsey is super sweet, and it feels like I’m getting a facial from a good friend. The seasonal facials have always been a fantastic treat. I cannot recommend this place enough!
The staff is incredibly polite and I was immediately greeted upon my arrival. I was waxed by Saige - she is very sweet and makes you feel very comfortable and best of all, is a fast worker! Overall a very pleasant experience and I would recommend this small business to anyone in Peoria or neighboring towns.
Kelsey is great at her job! Shes very easy to talk to and always makes me feel comfortable. I come in regularly at this point to get waxed and got my first facial done today which was very relaxing. I would definitely recommend going here.

I have been meaning to write a review - and now I have finally gotten to it! I have been a couple of times for facials (acne focused). The team was amazing, knowledgeable, efficient, and kind. Additionally, I have been highly interested in pursuing an esthetician license. I reached out to Liz, and she took time out of her day to speak with me. I was thoroughly impressed, and I can tell she values her work members and will make sure each is trained to deliver, and sustain their excellent customer service! I am still saving up - and considering my career pathways. Truly recommend Vanilla Sugar Face & Body. Very diligent company that strives to exceed expectations for client satisfaction!

What a hidden gem! I decided on a whim to get a Brazilian wax and I am so surprised how quick and easy it was! My appointment was with Kelsey! She was so personable and friendly that I didnt even notice much of the pain! She made a very awkward experience so comfortable! The lobby and rooms were very clean and everyone I encountered was just so friendly!! Cannot recommend Kelsey enough! I will be back again soon(ish)!!💗💗

Kelsey was extremely personable and nice. She made me feel at ease for my first visit. She did a great job. I didn’t have to pluck after I left there. Normally after visiting my regular place I have to. I will be switching to make Vanilla Sugar Face & Body my new normal place to get my face waxed.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE KELSEY!!! and yes this was my first time meeting her lol. She was very professional, fast and friendly. I was super nervous about getting my first Brazilian wax and within minutes I was so relaxed and comfortable.
I just received a waxing service yesterday and it was a fantastic experience!Amanda did a great job making small talk, explaining the process to me, and generally making me comfortable. I especially appreciated the added instructions on how to care for the newly waxed skin once I left as well as the small bar of cleansing soap she gave me at the end of the appointment.The atmosphere here is relaxing, and the room itself was exceptionally inviting and comfortable. Highly recommend :)
My first ever wax was with Liz and she was amazing. I felt really comfortable and she is funny! It didn’t hurt as much as I imagined but it did still hurt. I actually would do it again! 5 stars all the way.
This is the best experience I have ever had with a bikini wax. Kelsey made me feel so comfortable by speaking to me about my day and life and keeping my mind off of the pain! It was also very quick! I will definitely return for my follow up bikini wax and refer as many people as I can!

I would highly recommend Vanilla Sugar! I recently had two different treatments and loved them both. Liz did a dermaplaning treatment on me and it was great. She really takes the time to work with you and makes sure to do whats best for your skin. Not only does my face feel good, she gave me excellent information for my skin care routine. I also had my first spray tan with Miranda and she was awesome too! She made me feel extremely comfortable. It was super quick and my tan looks awesome! Thanks again ladies!

Liz is a joy to be around. I got a Brazilian, lip, eyebrow, chin wax, and a chemical peel. Felt like new leaving the spa. Really nice atmosphere. Ive used Lizs skincare too and its excellent. Shes passionate about the business she runs and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. You wont regret visiting this spa.
I saw Carissa for a waxing, I have never waxed prior to this visit. Carissa was professional, fast and just made the whole experience great! I have found my new home for self-care needs!
I am new to the area and hoped to find a great waxing, but I won’t return. I have had laser treatment which removed most of my hair from bikini area. Most salons will charge me for a regular bikini wax, but I was charged for a full Brazilian, which I did not request. The technician even remarked about “how little hair I had” to the trainee present during my wax. My service took less than 10 minutes. $85 was outrageous. Way over priced, especially for such a hard to find location.

I’m from Texas and needed a leg wax while in the area visiting family. I found Vanilla Sugar through a google search and I couldn’t be more pleased. Love Vanilla Sugar! My daughter and I both have our eyebrows waxed there. Amanda is so sweet and even thought we were a little late to our last appointment, she still was very accommodating. She does an amazing job, takes her time and is very knowledgeable about skincare products. My daughter even revived a sweet thank you card after her first visit.
My favorite spa!!! The ladies are wonderful and so knowledgeable! They use the greatest wax! It leaves the skin feeling so smooth and soft and I really think it hurts less than other places Ive went. Also they have convenient online scheduling if you dont have time to call. A must try if you havent already!!

Got my arms waxed and it took a bit shy of 30 minutes. Super efficient and I’m very happy with the work!Only negative I have is that I do believe it’s a bit pricey.

I cannot say enough good things about Vanilla Sugar! They were my first experience with underarm waxing and it was virtually painless each time. Ive had a few waxers and each one was amazing and took the time to make sure I was comfortable. The rooms are always spotless and very clean. I recently moved out of state and went to the popular European Wax Center and was not impressed with their service. My experience could not even compare with Vanilla Sugar. I am very sad that I can no longer go here and would recommend this place to everyone! Especially first time waxers.
My second time there getting a wax from Miranda G. The place is small, cozy, clean, and inviting. Miranda always greets me with a big smile & has an inviting personality to go along with it. This place was hard to find because they have no sign in the front of the building.. But, once inside its cute, clean and the service is Awesome. Went in for one service and Carissa told me it wouldnt do what I was expecting so we changed up my service a bit saving me money..Cant wait to go back for my facial and lashes

I’ve been getting my lashes done here since I moved into town. I always get compliments on them and people asking me if they are my real lashes. Everyone is very friendly and they do a great job on getting you in quickly.

2022-08-30I have started coming to Vanilla Sugar for the acne program. I see Carissa and she is knowledgeable. Great conversation. I love the products she has recommended and used. 3.5 weeks into the program and I already see a huge difference in my acne.I also saw Montana for a Brazilian wax. She was Amazing! I was dosing off in her session thats how gentle she is. Never would I imagined falling asleep during a wax but that says everything about her technique.

2022-05-26I went for a wax. All of the staff I encountered was super friendly and helpful. Saige did an amazing job! She is very skilled and knowledgeable. I was extremely nervous because this was my first wax but she talked me through the whole thing, let me know exactly what to expect, and it ended up being much less painful than I thought. She let me know exactly what to do for after care and I went ahead and scheduled another session with her. If you are considering any if their services, you owe it to yourself to visit Vanilla Sugar!! I wont go anywhere else. 💜💜💜

2022-03-16My experience at the Vanilla Sugar Face&Body was great. It was my first time going and I went there to get a Brazilian and my armpits waxed. I was a little nervous but Montana made me feel comfortable. She was very professional, especially during my Brazilian because she knew how it felt doing this for the first time. She told me to let her know if I needed a break between rips. We had a great conversation through out the process, she warned me about places that would hurt during the Brazilian, and counted down before ripping the wax strip off (which I requested). Montana also educated me on exfoliating and how often I should keep up with getting waxed. When I was at the register, she offered me a sample of soap ( which smells so good). I recommend this place for anyone who is thinking about getting waxed and I will be returning soon.☺️

2022-09-165/5 stars! I’ve never had eyelash extensions before and Montana did an amazing job! I got them done for my engagement pictures & I noticed after a week of having them that one side had a few missing that was noticeable.. i called and Montana was able to squeeze me in real quick that night (the day before my pictures) and I couldn’t be more thankful for that!! Our pictures went amazing & my lashes looked great!

2022-08-24In love with my hair free legs, underarms, bikini area! Lazer hair reduction is the PAIN FREE way to go! Ive shaved, waxed, sugared for years and this is by far the best resolution! In only 2 visits my results were astonishing! I can go on vacation without a razor and not have to worry about stubble! Its gone! Highly recommend the knowledgeable staff at Vanilla Sugar Face and Body to give me the results Im looking for!

2022-08-20I’ve been getting Brazilian Laser Hair Removal here, and with just a few visits i have seen quite quick results. Their machine is very customizable(my aesthetician explained some of the settings to me since i’m a computer nerd and asked) for a plethora of skin types. AND they have a very wide range of other services aside from just hair treatment. Very kind staff, and interior decorating is appealing to the eye.

2022-02-22My first visit was good. Second visit had some issues with pricing. The manager went out of her way to rectify the situation and fully refunded the 120. I was super happy about how she handled it. The service provided was great. I love my lashes.

2022-04-26I had the Royal Hawaiian Facial by Montana and she was absurd great, the facial included face, neck, shoulders, arms, hands and foot massage 💆♀️ which is incredibly relaxing.I highly recommend this place for facial treatments.
