If I could post zero stars I would.came in today to be a model for my sister, and the worst experience I’ve ever had as a client, established licensed stylist of 20yrs, and for a student I’ve ever experienced in my life. The service was a all over baby light. Placement and process went well till it came to the toning portion, the instructor informed us not only that the shade that was needed to properly tone and blend the lifting was not available but the proper product wasn’t available either. In which she instructed my sister to use what they had which was the wrong product to use. It was a permanent color with peroxide developer. Causing my hair to come out with several different shades and unable to be fixed without further damage. Leaving her feeling defeated and embarrassed but leaving me in a situation where I not only couldn’t have them fix it ,because lack of proper products but lack of proper knowledge, but the instructor looked at my sister as well as myself and told us both that we weren’t seeing what was actually there. My hair is three different shades and was double processed today. I now have to have a corrective color service done to fix my hair, in which I have to go darker when I came in with level 10 highlights and a level 6 Virgin base. I have gold orange and ashy green hair thanks to the improper use of permanent hair color as well as lack of educational direction. The whole inside t was blamed on an individual that does the ordering, when in fact the service should have never been allowed having the knowledge they didn’t have the proper products.

DO NOT COME HERE! STUDENTS OR CLIENTS!Robert and Leigh Ann (the owners) and Emily (admissions) only care about money! They only care about how they look so that they can make more money! The loan company they partner with (TFC in California) is a scam.Ive been forced to deal with these people for over a year. Theres sewage backups regularly, mold in their steamers, bugs everywhere. When theres cavicide (the cleaner theyre legally supposed to use) shortages (due to them not ordering it) they use other chemicals theyre legally not supposed to use. They run out of products and theyll use stuff not even suited to your skin. They dont help you if you have a disability or emergency if youre a student. If you go here as a client/customer instructors do not oversee the esthetician students (the people doing the procedures). They do as much as they can with the cheapest equipment to make the most money. Their machines are broken more than half the time, their towels, sheets, blankets, and robes are disgusting, torn, and stained, their skin care products are made so that they dont do much to your skin because theyre made for students to practice with and not be able to effect your skin. The only thing worth doing here is getting waxed at a cheaper rate. The only thing they teach the students to wax is arms, armpits, and legs so I dont recommend letting them touch your bikini or brows unless you dont mind being a guinea pig. The kitchen is right next to the skin rooms so if you come when theyre having lunch breaks youll hear everything loud and clear as the rooms dont have ceilings and are more like stalls. Everyone can hear anything happening no matter how loud they turn up their spa music (that they let advertisements blast through because theyre too cheap to pay for spotify, pandora, etc.). All their tables and chairs are extremely old and not healthy to use because of how uncomfortable cheap and unsupportive they are.

My friend Courtney and I went in for facials Wednesday night and our Estheticians were students Erin and Tiffany. They greeted us with smiles and were amazing! They both helped us determine our skin type (mine is normal) and helped us with skin care products that would best suit us. I am pregnant and they were knowledgeable and utilized the correct products specifically for me. I felt very comfortable there. Their instructor, Miss Lauren, was wonderful too! She introduced herself and helped us check out. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable and amazing skin treatment! I will definitely be coming back!

Was tired of paying over $130 dollars at my regular posh Oakbrook salon for color and cut and looking for an alternative. Had visited a few schools providing these services and stumbled upon this one which was practically in my backyard! Hidden gem. I didnt know it was here. I was nervous about letting students work on my hair but my fears subsided when I saw how serious and professional the students were and how closely supervised they were by their instructor, Matt, who was very knowledgeable and experienced. He suggested a few minor changes that were spot on. The facility is clean and beautiful, looks like a high end salon. I had my stylist, Gia copy what my regular stylist had been doing but I feel confident enough to try a different cut next time! Will definitely return. Cant beat the $33 dollars I was charged for a quality cut and color AND got more attention and suggestions about my hair than I do from my regular salon. Looking forward to trying their other services. Just remember to allow a little extra time because the stylists are students in a teaching environment. They are a small school and the stylists are busy at peak times, so best to schedule an appointment or call ahead if you are a walk in to see if they can take you. Tip: The color turns out just a tad darker than samples, which I was told, but still gorgeous. To the school: Please post price list on your website.

I have been looking to get my legs waxed so I stumbled upon this school. I have never been to a school to get a waxing service done but I figured for the affordable price, I would give it a try. I went on a Thursday night and was assisted by Mallory and Tiffany and they waxed my legs. I have had my legs waxed before by a professional, and they both did a better job than her and they were students! I met with their instructor Miss Lauren beforehand and she asked if it was ok if two students did my service and I said absolutely. I thought it was so nice of her to ask me beforehand to make sure I was comfortable with it. I will continue going there for my waxing, as they were quick and very professional. I never thought a leg wax could be fun, but Mallory and Tiffany made it fun for me!

Before I went on vacation, I decided to go in a for a leg wax. I wasnt sure what to expect but the student was fantastic and they didnt miss any hair! I believe that their instructors name was Mrs. Lauren and she was really great and helped the student when she got stuck. I will definitely be going there again.

I am SO impressed by this school. What a BEAUTIFUL establishment! I am a nail salon owner for 10 years and I am impressed with this school, the cleanliness and professionalism I encountered is BEYOND words. Something I can whole heartedly say from going to schools for my continued education hours and experience is that I am very confident in what I saw.The students are comfortable in an atmosphere of relaxation and education. The instructor, teaching took his time to oversee the consultation of my daughter and her wishes of what she wanted to achieve. He had total confidence with Ashleigh (The student of the school) and she had NO problem asking for his guidance, knowing no judgements would be given. I observed him teaching students and he was engaged while instructing them and you could see they were comfortable in watching him and learning. Ashleigh was professional in EVERY aspect of the appointment. I would highly recommend this establishment for a person who wants a career in cosmetology or to go and receive a service from this school.

Fatanstic Experience! A friend of mine (Lauren) works at this location but I decided to check it out separately and write an unbiased review. I went in for a haircut, and my apologies, as the girl who cut my hair her name is slipping me at the moment, but she did a better job than my regular barber! Prices are extremely reasonable, Ill definitely be back! Thank you!

I went in for a facial at night and Mallory was awesome. The school was very clean and she was very professional. The instructor Lauren checked to be sure my service was top notch and was very knowledgeable about products to try. I will be going again.
