This post office is absolutely wonderful 10/10. Ive been to so many post offices in Chicago and none of them can compare with this location. The employees here are extremely friendly, kind and always in a good mood. Theyre always ready to help and explain things. I love coming here

The employees at this post office are really something else. I have honestly never been to a post office where everyone who worked there were so nice and happy with customers. I don’t even mind waiting in line because they don’t have enough employees, because there little family works.

They have the rudest mail carriers. 90% of the time the mail is in the wrong mailboxes. They each have names on them, why should we have to sort the mail to make sure it gets to the correct person?

Friendly and helpful bunch of workers. I went for a passport+photo and the process was pretty quick & without hiccups.

There were two clerk on duty and I had a package already paid for but since I had them on a box that said priority I was told that I could either purchase priority mail postage or have them boxed in a regular box. Not sure why the difference if its just a box. Either way I just left and went to another post office. The clerk was polite and explained it to me well.

Very helpful gentleman working at the counter today. Helped me pick out the right holiday box to ship a Christmas gift. Very patient and pleasant experience. I checked on Google first to see how busy it was. I did not have to wait when visiting around 11:30am on a Tuesday. In and out in 5 min

Over a month and a half ago, on the same day, I paid for two services: an international priority mail letter and an international parcel. Both were due to arrive within 6-10 days. The parcel did. The letter, however, is still not accounted for. The first time I went back to the post office to check why this is happening, I was given a number to call which, after two dozen attempts and a couple of voice mails, proved a dead end so I went back today. The first person that “helped” me was Katrina. After being told that the letter was stuck in customs for over a month and that there was no way to contact customs to ask how much longer they would hold on to these urgent and important documents, I attempted to ask: “How long is it customary for a person to wait before assuming the letter is lost?”. I say attempted, because Katrina would keep interrupting my question (never allowing me to actually finish it) with giving me the same info over and over: “Customs has it and there’s no way to find out how long they’ll have it for.” Even though I was told it would arrive to its destination in 6-10 days. Even though that’s the service I paid for. Since Katrina would not even let me finish my question, her for-worker (I really wish I had remembered her name because she seemed like she wanted to help from the beginning and actually had the answers! I’m embarrassed to admit that the one person who deserves praise in this situation I can’t even acknowledge) took the time to hear my question in full and give me the answer: “It would have to be released within 45 days.” My issue hasn’t been fully resolved yet, but at least I have a deadline I can measure progress against. I strongly encourage the managers of this branch to get Katrina back into training on dealing with customers and perhaps, at the very least, recuse her for admitting that she doesn’t know the answer so she can defer to someone who does.
