Horrible mail service. Somedays they skip a day or two. We rarely have the same carrier, we often get other peoples mail.The staff at the office are friendly enough and helpful.The facility is usually dingy and not very clean.Hold mail service is ridiculous. They deliver it anyway.3rd world postal service.
I live roughly 20 minutes away from this location yet I decide to get my passports from this location because of how nicely they treat us. Mr Israel was very helpful and pleasant when he helped us out their was 6 of us. He made the whole experience easy and stress free. Thank you.
Nice small USPS branch located in Norwood Park. Sometimes service is a little slow, and I mean pre-pandemic too. However the staff members are nice and helpful.

Mr. Williams was very professional and nice. Glad he helped us with our babys passport process. Wish other locations had agents like him. This was the best post office experience ever!
The tracking info I get off the USPS website does not match the info I get at the post office when I go there to ask where my package is. I had registered mail that the could not find for 4 days and it turned out it was in the mail persons van. If I didnt have the mail person look in the van they had I never would have gotten my package. The workers at the post office didnt seem to care one bit where my package was. Also sometimes my mail comes at 10am, 2pm, 7pm or sometimes it doesnt come at all. Like I said when I ask why the mail wasnt delivered, they dont seem to care one bit.
Is a shame how this facility still open or they have not replaced the personal. Because overall they are strimily rude..I was the for a half hour waiting for my Paquette. That never arrived because supposedly my house is unaccessible. Anyway. Every single person that came while I was waiting the have completed to this post office that never received ther mail.
Horrible place with horrible service. Called them a day earlier to confirm I can pick up my package because there were circumstances which made my delivery unusual. They told me on the phone everything is set and I can come in the next morning to pick it up. I drive an hour the next morning to come here to pick it up and they tell me they cant. No reason, just they cant give me my package.
My fiance and I are getting married in October and we decided that we were going to go to Mexico at the end of October. This meant that I had to get my passport asap! I went to the post office on Northwest Highway and was greeted by the manager a Mr. Larry Watkins who informed me (that even though the website listed passport office hours opening at 9am) it did not open till ten am. This was a problem because I had to be at work at 930 am. I asked him if he could help me out at all which he did. He had an employee on site (who literally just walked into work) that was willing to help me. Out came Israel Viloria who was as professional and courteous as he was knowledgeable about the entire process. He answered all of my questions as well as gave me information I would not have even thought of. Normally when I think of a government run facility, I think of unhappy and disgruntled workers. That was not the case with my experience here at all. Keep up the good work guys!
My husband and I went to this Post Office to apply for passports. We went in knowing there were many negative reviews about this process but we had a great experience. The gentleman who helped us was Jimmie. Jimmie was very helpful, courteous and friendly. We brought in our passport photos from CVS but Jimmie pointed out mine would be rejected due to hair covering my eyes. He took a new photo for me, saving me a trip to CVS for retake and then going back to the P.O. If you go into the P.O. for Passports I hope youre lucky enough to get Jimmie.
I just came back from this post office. I was harassed in front of about 20 people waiting in line, including other postal employees (that said nothing) by the same lady that I wrote a post about. I’m guessing she read it, needless to say she is an embarrassment to government employees. Try hiring someone that doesn’t behave in a manner that resembles an atmosphere of a prison. I hope she was screened and had a background check, because it was not only embarrassing, but frightening for a postal worker to yell at me for posting a previous negative post about her, that was as well very uncomfortable. Shame on the other employees for saying nothing. Shame on the management for hiring this crackhead.
Ive always been greeted with friendly smile and service when Ive gone into this post office. I know staff is stretched thin but theyre doing great.
Terrible delivery service. My mail has been delivered once or twice a week if I’m lucky not to mention the carrier has lied about my packages been delivered when they aren’t or not been able to deliver them due animal interference when there are no pets in my building. I have filed several complaints with USPS.com but haven’t received any response about all this issues.Update :She finally arrived today 1:19 pm after 7 days without showing up .6/27 - Again a package was supposedly delivered and I didn’t received any package .The delivery lady was here but just parked on the side texting, she didn’t delivered any mail in this buildings nor the whole block.
The staff here that work for the United States Postal Service are extremely friendly and are very helpful and everyone Ive seen working here are always smiling and doing everything that they can do to make sending out your mail and packing needs as easy and painless as possible.
Poor mail service...carriers dont show up ...I get 2-3 days a mail at a time and help is constantly changing.I drop off packages 3-4 times a week...have to make sure I give it to a regular worker otherwise it wont get scanned in
The place has gone through a lot of changes. The window staff is very helpful and processed my transactions quickly.I would be likely to use this post office again.
Typical gov work. Dialed the number 15 times in a row. Must have pissed them off that someone needed some help so they took the phone off the hook to make the line busy instead of ringing and reminding them that they actually have to work today. This thing needs to go private yesterday.
Well politeness is not what youll get!!Oh if you think of calling this location be careful you dont make them mad.They just dont seem to have time for questions.

I was told the other day I most likely will not see maileveryday from this post office due to cut backs they will try to deliver every other day to different carrier areashow can u run a business with this kind of delivery and when you try to contact by phone nothing but busy for the last 2hours of trying
Great Service,but some times long lines also need to check the security lights in parking lot next to building not all are working and dark area where you drop off your mail in collection boxes please fix thank you

Crazy stuff
Avoid at all cost. The facility is disgusting. It looks like it hasnt been swept or vacuumed, dusted, or any type of cleaning in years. And if that isnt bad enough, its drastically understaffed forcing you to stand in that disgusting facility for 30 minutes past a scheduled passport appointment. I went home and showered afterwards.

2022-06-10I dont know if its a USPS thing or not but literally every USPS I go to is so unfriendly. Literally every employee needs customer interaction training or something. But maybe Im just unlucky and go at the wrong times. The two ladies at this particular store dont care about anything. The older white lady is just rude and the younger black lady is clueless and stares at the white lady when I ask a question. I would ask the older white lady questions to have an idea on what Im doing wrong but everytime I ask a question she seems to get more annoyed so I just left before she triggers me. Thanks for wasting my gas ($6 btw) and time.

2021-11-17Don’t know about other employees at this location but one particular employee that unfortunately I always have the bad luck to get when I go( which is not very often) is rude, unhelpful, blunt and quite frankly shouldn’t be allowed to interact with customers makes this USP office one of the worst if not the worst. Some advice if you need to go to a post office look for an alternative even if you just so happen to live a block away…

2021-06-15This PO has 2 African American women that have very poor customer service, rude and are extremely unfriendly. Im a dissable man with a cain and I was standing waiting in line with nobody in front of me, trying to social distance, and they kept me waiting while they both were gossiping amongst each other. Until I stepped up to the counter and set my heavy package down.

2020-03-30Laddies at the desk argued with me about there Priority Mail service. Refused to take my packages simply because they were in priority mail flat rate boxes. Paid for priority mail choose your dimensions and weight. I’ve done this over a hundred times in the past 5 years and never had them refuse to take my packages or assist me with my questions. I HIGHLY recommend not going to this post office.

2017-02-09I wasnt too happy with their mail delivery service. Although they have good customer service skills, I waited two days for a package that was already marked as delivered on the website and spoke to five different people. Of course, nobody knew anything about my package. When they were finally able to locate it, they still took forever to deliver it to me. FedEx never screws up this bad and I will be sure to use them whenever possible in the future.

2021-03-22The women that work here at BRUTAL. Terrible attitudes & rude to all the customers. From what I’ve witnessed & experienced. Shame that this is the closest one to my home & I would rather drive out of my way than to deal with these employees. You guys hire just about anyone now a days huh. Yikes. Thumbs down.

2017-08-05I feel like this post office doesnt get enough good feedback. Theyve ALWAYS been kind and helpful. Today I called looking for information on two packages that were to be delivered at my home. Miss Jean Foster was a complete joy to speak with. Very kind, courteous and informative. Well done! Made this experience pain free and quick!! Thank you thank you thank you!!
