I wish, I wish I got her name... but I didn’t.She had long, black, curly hair. So very sweet , she just knew what I was looking for and truly I never even tried this brand “bare minerals” deep moisturizer and serum, than a face wash that is just so hydrating!!!I was uncertain only cause it was a different brand but she swore it would be fine and I 100% took her word and happy I did. She truly made me a happy women , her vibe is just something that’s warm and she’ll just take good care of you and get you on the right track of face wash.Thank you the girl with long brown and highlight of blue , she showed me a hydrating mask that ... just is perfect did burn a little and I have very sensitive skin.... but I’ll give it a go next week and see how it is but other than that I absolutely love the products these two ladies helped me find!
We visited this ulta beauty store on 07/24/21 at 7 PM and were browsing through the store. We were offered help by one of your customer rep. It’s fine till then. But we observed the same customer rep making fun of some of our questions. This is awful. We don’t remember the name of the customer rep who misbehaved, but can say he has a thin hair and looked fair. It would help others in future if you can train your customer reps on basic manners how to behave with dignity.
I visited this store yesterday. A women asked me if I needed help, I told her that I I want to buy a matte foundation. She told me to buy bareMinerals, I explained her that I used to buy it for the previous years so I want to try other brands. I told her what I was looking for, and she just told over there, on the other side as if she was dissatisfied. And just after that she started to talk to other Ulta employees. It seemed that she had no time for me to help but had time to talk other staff. I couldnt find it, so I gave up. Today I went to Maycys and TWO women were helping me to find the best foundation for my oily skin for about 2 hours..... I spent almost 300 but it was worth because they helped me to choose the right cosmetics. A moral of it: Ulta if you do not want my money... I will spend them at Maycs...! I have bad associations with ULTA!
Stay away from this location! This location has awful customer service especially the salon and the brow bar. Jackie, needs to learn better customer service and people will no come back if you have an attitude.Please have your staff at the salon especially the mangers learn customer skills and Jackie.
Very messy here. Everything is dirty and all over the place. Staff sits around looking depressed. Male manager with blonde hair is unprofessional and rude. Asked him for help and he told me to hold on as he continued texting. Crazy! Horrible experience. Spent $1478 at Sephora. Treat your customers better and they won’t have to take their business elsewhere.
Took my boyfriend to get a simple haircut as an early christmas gift. we were set with Sandy, showed her a photo of exactly what we wanted (which he had gotten here before from another woman) and she told us shes never used clippers before and didnt know much about cutting hair. we asked for a 4 or 5 on his sides and she was extremely snippy and sarcastic by saying no im doing a 3. and continued to go about what SHE wanted. He was so upset that he went back in after looking in the car mirror and asked Sandy to simply shave it completely off because it was unfixable and so short there was nothing to do. I called the store manager, Bobby. He refused to give me his last name or any information, proceeded to yell at me and said that Sandy had expressed her feelings about what she did and that shes not wrong. As someone who works in retail and customer service, the customer is always right. I paid $35 for a haircut that was done by a lady who probably doesnt have a license to cut hair. He yelled and screamed at me on the phone that I am wrong and refused a refund. I am so disgusted and disappointed. I will never go back to this store again and I hope nobody ever gets their hair cut by Sandy or speaks with Bobby. Ive called corporate and im filing a complaint as i write this
I was excited to get my birthday gift!! The process has changed from using your rewards card or phone number to needing an email confirmation. I had mine but left my phone in the car and had to go back and get it and get back in line all over again!!! You do get a small sized Bad gal BANG! mascara so I guess it was worth it in the end!!!
Used to love going to ulta over Sephora because of how welcoming helpful and friendly they are, but since the reopening during the pandemic it’s like the service level has gone away, I walked in a week ago to find a product I found online after asking where I could find it and being told over there without a clear indication, I continued to try find it myself after around 15min I found the range I i was looking for but the product I was looking for wasn’t visible, so I asked for help again ( after walking around the store to find someone to help me ) after asking for help and explaining I couldn’t seem to find it in the shelve the person helping me just said it’s over there and pointed again and continued the conversation they were having with their colleges! I never once was given the help I’d normally receive from the store! This is sad that a store that once seemed to care so much more than the competition stores now doesn’t give one thought about the costumers anymore!
•Store: Beautifully put together and easy to maneuver around. Not to mention sparkling clean.•Salon: small but the stylist know their craft. I went to Sade and she’s a doll! I had fried crispy orange hair from a horrible color job, and she was able to fix it and brought life back into my hair. She’s amazing and I’ll def be seeing her again.•Benefit Brow Bar: always have my brows on point! Jackie the brow tech/wizard is my go to gal, but any brow tech is great!Honestly my favorite Ulta location!
HOLY ULTA. I was in the area and needed to grab something and searched Ulta. Didn’t expect to find a BRAND NEW store. It is gorgeous, the staff is so friendly and they have so so so many global K-beauty brands. I had to control myself.NYX is beautiful in this store, and I could of played all day! Will be back!!
Horrible service... my wife, kids and I went in today to go do some sunday shopping. We were greeted when we walked in which was fine. We were having some trouble deciding on cologne for me and a person asked from a distance asked if we were ok.. I smiled and said not really and she walked away... wierd so my wife was still looking and looking and no one came over to assist...its upsetting that no one came over to help. We will definitely be taking our business elsewhere. Disappointing
I went in because they had a free gift promotion going on and this location was closer to my new place. It turned out they had run out of the free gift, and when I expressed my disappointment, the sales girl with whom I was working sprang into action and put together a huge bag full of name brand samples, some full-size! I wound up making out better than if Id gone home with the free gift! Ive since returned whenever I need beauty supplies, and theyre always stocked with what I need. Service never disappoints!
I only go to this Ulta because its the closest one near me. Every time I come for something the store is a mess and all the new items are sold out I wish they would restock more often. Employees are all extremely rude and unhelpful. They like to ignore you whenever you have a question or dont know the answer. Overall do not recommend. Take the trip and head to a different Ulta.
I wanted to write my full experience to iterate how much time I lost and disrespect I felt was given by the employees. Ive shopped at multiple Ulta stores before, and have visited this location before today without any big issues.I was visiting the store to restock on a specific facial product that I have used for years, and immediately after I entered the store, I went to the closest available attendant. I gave her the name of the product, but before I could ask where in the store it was located, she told me they dont sell that cosmetic line anymore, that I should check CVS for the product instead. I felt unsure, and asked her if CVS would really sell facial products, and the woman said Yes, I guarantee it. (I will add that I was somewhat uncomfortable by how she acted, but let it go since I had shopped here before.) I thanked her and exited the store before heading to the nearest CVS, which was quite some distance away. It was somewhat busy, so I had to wait about 10-15 minutes, and when I talked to an employee there, she told me they dont sell any products from that line. I was frustrated that I felt my time had been wasted on a wild goose chase, and so I called the store and asked for the manager to file a complaint. The woman I thought was the manager listened as I told her what happened, then asked me what product I was looking for. She told me that if I came to the store again, I could order the product online and get it shipped directly to my house. I thanked her, but told her that I would still like to file a complaint, and she told me that she would notify the manager later before ending the call, alerting me to the fact that I hadnt been talking to one at all.I felt that I was not only treated disrespectfully by an employee in-store, but that my complaint was not taken seriously when a regular employee took the call instead of a supervisor since I specifically requested the manager. At the very least, I wish the employee could have told me that the manager was unavailable so I wouldnt have wasted even more of my time on a phone call that they didnt view as important.I hope that by writing this review a supervisor will take notice, or at the very least, other customers may avoid having this happen by reading about my experience.I am also placing a description of the woman below in the hopes that if a supervisor does read this, they may talk to her and prevent her from treating anyone else in that way:The associate I spoke to in-store had blonde hair that was cut in a bob, a somewhat plump figure, caucasian, wore a white semi-long sleeve shirt, and seemed to be around her forties to fifties, possibly older.
I got my makeup done by salon manager David. He did an amazing job. Not only was it a great experience but it was my first time getting my makeup professionally done:) He was great and I definitely will be going to go back to him for any makeup services in the future.
Had an appointment to get my eyebrows done here. I showed up for my appointment and was told that the only lady who does them went home for the day. I didn’t get a call or anything. The woman who told me she went home didn’t even offer to reschedule my appointment. I will reschedule somewhere else.
I went here before my wedding to get some makeup advice and the staff was so helpful. The manager even put my name in for a drawing (I had forgotten to submit it) and it turns out I won! They seemed to be passionate about their job. All in all though it is your typical ulta, a favorite for hair care and makeup products.
I went there today because I finally found a lip liner Ive been looking for EVER! apparently I called the wrong store, but the cashier who I thought was very pretty. Asian woman with gorgeous makeup done, had the worst attitude. Told me they didnt have the item, after not even looking for it. Online it clearly stated they have it, she was so lazy that she didnt really take the time to listen to the name of the item. I followed her to the rimmel section and found it myself. She lacked customer service skills, after obviously being incorrect she said nothing. Not even a thank you when I left. Im appalled that someone would treat a customer like that, this is why I dont shop at Ulta. I rather pay 3 times the price at least Im treated like a person.
Just walked out of this joke. Staff acting put out by having to help customers, not acknowledged whatsoever in the 20 mins I browsed. Finally asked a lady if I should make an appointment to come back to talk to someone about make up, she was busy so she called for staff, nobody could help, so she asked a girl walking by who kept looking straight ahead as she walked and said in a sharp tone, I am with someone! And then she asked a guy by the salon if he could help and he replied, I JUST got done with someone.I just laughed and walked towards the exit with them trying to call me back.Nope.
I had my hair done by Heddie . The reason I came there was because I was playing a hairstylist myself with herbal hair dye from a store and turned my hair in absolutely horrible permanent color . She did all over highlights, toned, deep conditioned. The result is awesome . So the mess is fixed and I am back to looking as a normal human being :)
Everyone takes themselves too seriously on here. The staff is always friendly and helpful. These customers who are review gangsters who would rather give bad reviews instead of using their own common sense to navigate through the store or wait 5 minutes have nothing better to do than give multiple bad reviews because when they walk into a store its not all about them. Get over yourselves people, woodfield ulta is great and I have frequented for 4 years now and I still love it. If you dont like it then Shop somewhere else, Im sure a few negative customers wont make a difference. .
My Brow exert Robin is wonderful! Marissa does a great job on hair! Robbi the skin expert is super sweet and knows her business. The Management and staff here are super friendly and helpful. I drive out of my way for this location because of the great customer service I receive.
Honestly its really hit or miss with this location. Ive had super positive experiences with freelance MUAs who sometimes work there for commission with certain brands but in general the staff that actually work for Ulta as a company have a horrible work ethic. I asked for help with a product (from an employee that was doing her own makeup at the time) and it literally took 7+ minutes for her to get someone else to work on me (there were probably aroud 4-5 associates free including the one originally asked). The girl I ended up getting actually did a good job at finding a foundation shade that matched my skin. All in all I still wouldnt reccomend this location, the staff possess very poor customer service and it actually seems like they think that theyre employed not to actually work but to sit around and do nothing.
Poor customer service, Particularly unhappy with the Benefit brow services. The girl who works here is always running behind. I have had to wait for her for upwards of 15 minutes every time I go in. Dont waste your time at this Benefit Brow station. Go to Macys in Woodfield.
BE CAREFUL CASHIER STEALS!!! This cashier Ashley put my purchase under I assume her own reward card after I told her I dont have a reward card. I had no idea until I saw the receipt after. God knows how many points she STOLE from customers before! This is very unethical. Ashley and this store both of you should be ashamed.
They have a nice selection , inflated prices , for intake issey miyaki perfume wow i found same size bottle 1.25 oz $88. 2.5 she said was $104 i found 3.3 on line for 50 and 70 bucks, plus they couldnt get the internet to work and didnt bother letting the elderly women i took there to buy it know , 15 minutes we waited for her to come back , i went to yhem because standing that long is difficult for the lady, she told them that they could have came,and said something
My daughter visited the store today in search for a new foundation. She was helped by one of the associates that was extremely rude. She told my daughter her skin was awful and that she needed a new skin care routine with new products she is going to sell her.Well, we will not be buying anything at Ulta anymore.Very unprofessional and insensitive approach. “Mature” salesperson trying tointimidate a young woman, shame on you.If I could I would give them 0 stars.

2022-04-14Got my hair cut and colored by Elizebeth and it turned out perfect. At first I thought I hated it, but turns out I was just hungry. I had a sandwich and I was like omg this is best cut and color I’ve ever had. She was super sweet too. I’m a quiet person so i get anxious with awful forced small talk. Elizebeth was just focused on my hair, which I loved.10/10 book with her.

2020-11-15It is a great shop, I enjoyed shopping. Having the ordinary brand in the store is my plus value. Staff are polite, kind and knowledgeable people. Health precautions have been taken in the store, disinfectant is available. You can visit and shop comfortably in the store, not crowded.

2021-12-24BEWARE OF THIS STORE. If I could give this store a zero I would in a heart beat. This stores manager BRENDA is beyond disrespectful and totally unprofessional. I was treated like complete trash and was told I was lying.I came from Addison to pick up a perfume that said it was in store and ready for pick up online. When I arrived they told me that the website is never up to date and that they tell everyone to call before coming. Why do they even have that as an option on the website?When I brought up a 1.6oz bottle of the perfume and not the 1.0oz I was told I could be compensated since they didnt have the item. Once the manager came back she said that she cant do anything for me since its not their problem. I explained that the associate said they could compensate me. The manager didnt care and the associate told the manager I was lying and she never said that.I was so done with the sistuation and asked for the customer service number and since no one wears name tags I asked for the managers name. She told me to figure it out on my own and didnt tell me her name. I waited for 7 minutes untill she finally gave me the information.Most disrespectful experience and I am so upset with the way ulta has been hiring such unprofessional people.Customer service is no longer a thing workers are beyond rude.

2021-11-27Great location, and a manager with black hair today around 11-12:30 helped my mother with a return. I appreciated the fact that they werent simply trying to make money off us, but genuinely trying to help. Will be back again.

2021-11-15For beauty and glamour lovers! Renovated location, well organized with pleasantly displayed items. The staff is helpful and ready to answer questions. The selection of items is abundant but may not have all the color variations available. Admirable promo offers come pretty often, which could become too irresistible and create a wallet conflict if you get too addicted.
