One of the best smoothies i have ever had! caysie was such an amazing employee who recommended the bahama mama with mango added! she made our first time being there a great experience! definitely come here one day
Friendly staff. Very clean. Quick and tasty. Btw: Try their flavors of the month. Love Potion to be exact. The manager suggested it and it was delicious!
My rating is based on getting sick after drinking my shake. I will come back one more time incase it was me and not the blueberries in my drink.
I was very disappointed it was my first-time. There they got my order wrong and when I did get my order it was horrible I order the cajunShrimp salad it. Only had 6 shrimps inIt. Lucky thing I did not order a wrap.

Wonderful smoothies and made very very expediently. Wonderful salads and other menu items done well and quickly. The facility is extremely clean and the staff is very thoughtful and explanatory concerning menu items. You wont go wrong here, I plan on going back more often on these coming hot summer days for a nice cold delicious smoothie and a salad.06/21/21Went back with my wife and got a delicious smoothie with a lime edible straw, and the salad! I come in here roughly about 3-4 times a week. I love this place! The staff is super quick and the orders are accurate and always fresh. I used to be a die hard chipotle fan but the food quality at tropical smoothie makes me feel like I’ve been eating at the wrong places my whole life. 10/10
First time trying this place out while I was visiting a friend. Wow I was amazed how huge the smoothies are ! And they use water base not milk which is awesome. The southwest wrap tasted so good the chicken tasted fresh . I wish we had one in Wisconsin. Can’t wait to go back. Staff was fast and friendly as well
Although the smoothies here are great, the best part of Tropical Smoothie Waukegan is the staff! They are always very welcoming and friendly, especially the general manager. Every time I’ve stopped in, the store is busy (no wonder why), but the service remains phenomenal. Coming here for a smoothie beats going to Jamba Juice or any where else, any day!
Yes. I was impressed by this place but I did identify some areas of opportunity within my first engagement. I wont divulge what it is because perhaps I was with the wrong company when I entered this establishment. I will return soon with my son & hopefully I can have a better Tropical Smoothie Café experience. I do sincerely thank you for setting up your Smoothie Shop in the Fountain Square Waukegan, IL Community! We need as many positive forces in this area as possible.

Fast service and great tasting healthy food...Just discovered it this weekend and have bought food and smoothies about three times. Very seldom that you enjoy food and smoothies without being guilty about the thousand calories that might come with them. Of course, you have to make the appropriate choice. Ive been getting the detox island green which is the one with the least calories. The wraps are good. I like both the thai chicken wrap and the new citrus hawaiian wrap. The quesadilla is good, too. Ordering via the app was a breeze but if you get the discount coupons via mail, you can only use them if you order in the cafe. You can also get a free smoothie on your second app purchase and when you take their survey online, you will get a code and get a discount for the smoothie but theres a catch, you have to buy a wrap or a flatbread to avail of the discount.
When I lived in Georgia this was one of my favorite places. Im excited I have one here close to me. The place was clean and service was fast! Lots of free convenient parking. Mask are required to enter and they have a screen blocking you from the cashier.

In the last few weeks my girlfriend and Ive gone to smoothie Cafe at least 6 times , and for all those times their service was top notch . Fast and with accuracy. Forget jumba juice this is the new spot in town
Flatbreads are fire! Chipotle chicken club or chicken bacon ranch never fails. Smoothies are so fresh and they’re not over priced like Jamba Juice. Paradise Point or Pomegranate Plunge are my go to 🙌🏼
First time ordering from here. The smoothies were great. But they got my order wrong, I wouldn’t go there for the food. Don’t order the Baja bowl it’s pretty much a bowl of lettuce with a few pieces of chicken, beans and rice. Very disappointed.

I did a virtual cartwheel when I realized this one opened close to where I work in North Chicago. Lunch today was my first visit and the service and Thai chicken wrap were spot on! I will be coming back.

Husband and I have always loved tropical smoothie cafe . Unfortunately after today I don’t think I’ll be able to ever see this restaurant the same again . I made a online order and my chicken chipotle flat bread had cheese that already had gone bad(sour,rotten) I had to find out by eating some of it and automatically noticing the gross taste and smell. . I was very hungry and now I just feel sick , nauseous and my appetite has been ruined. . Who ever is in charge of checking all the merchandise had one job only . The gross smell can be detected when near it , don’t understand how this was not noticed while making my food . Upset and disappointed is a understatement …

2021-11-17Holy cow-Ive never been there until today, and I cant wait to go back! Such a delicious smoothie and wrap, and combo was a great lunch deal! I got a Peanut Butter Cup smoothie with Kale added and a Caribbean Jerk wrap and some sun chips and it was such a yummy lunch!! (I spent $18 including tip if that helps to know pricing) I called because I wasnt sure how to pick up my order and they were amazing and ran it out to my car so I didnt have to lug my kiddos in with me. Absolutely 10/10 recommend!

2022-06-28Clean, good atmosphere, and great customer service. Staff was patient with my parents who took a while to figure out what they wanted. When asked to toast a sandwich a little more, Ben offered to just make a new one up to customer standards instead. I’ve been to a few TS around the Chicago area, this one has surpassed any expectations. Great job team! :)

2021-04-08*Long Review Warning* First time here, and Im not impressed. 2 stars only because the Hawaiian chicken wrap was horribly made.👎 When I unwrapped it, it looked good, smelled okay, but also noticeably off. I hoped it tasted better than it looked, nope! The chicken tasted old or not very seasoned, I hope it was just my taste buds, but I dont know. The Hawaiian citrus salad was too strong on the onions and too soagy, probably old🤮. For my son, I couldve, and will make sure I do from now on, made the cheddar and ham wrap my dang myself. The fried corn was gross. I hope the other things I ordered for later are better and will update then. The only plus side is the huge smoothie you get, but even that was weird because it was stringy, it tasted good though. It was the dragon fruit smoothie. They move a bit slow paced on the food, smoothies were made fast, I dont know if that is everyday, but dont chance your luck here for a quick bite if youre in a rush. The inside was not very clean also. Used menus everywhere, flithy tables, floors dirty, ESPECIALLY on their side of the floor. Gross factor goes up😬. Maybe theyre under staffed or something else, but the more I write this review makes me less and less interested in another try. And to be quite honest, when this location first opened I wasnt interested because who cant make a smoothie?! If it wasnt for the coupons that literally just came in the mail yesterday, I wouldve only tried a smoothie today. The cool factor is, the menu options are things you can easily make at home, but if outof ingredients or dont feel like it, you can go there. Thats it for now, until later. Update: the 3 cheese chicken quesadillas was good. The sauce to dip it in was really good. The peanut butter and banana flat bread was also good.
