The Torrid in Joliet IL is sloppy , skinny isles and not enough help ever and always no selection and hot in store. Promenade is much cleaner, friendly and has great selection.
I am always busy so I prefer doing everything online. I bought some clothes online and the total bill was $350. The store then charged $700 to my card and when I received my statement I immediately called the store. I was assured that the refund would take just 5 working days but 21 days down the line nothing has been refunded back to my account.
Is the store and the staff is simply one of the best Torrids I go into the staff is always super helpful and amazing. Thank u guys Doris
Staff is very insightful, friendly as they are honest about thier product and how it looks on my girlfriend for fit, size and appearance. You just cant beat that type of honesty and cant get it anywhere else.
Im an avid Torrid shopper, and this Torrid is one of the best! It was recently re-done, and the layout is pretty great. The dressing rooms have fans now, and much better lighting! From the manager down, all of the employees are friendly and helpful. I love coming to this Torrid, and I always feel welcome and excited to shop here.
Great staff. Cute clothes. Just a little too over priced. Their sale prices are nice and what I believe should be regular price. Sorry but just cant see spending 55 buck on one shirt.
Workers didnt acknowledge me and Im pretty sure its because Im a trans woman. They provided adequate customer service to my girlfriend but extremely poor service to me.
The employees were extremely helpful and nice... it’s hard shopping with a 2 yr old and they were very understanding and helpful... this location has so much to offer in styles and sizes.

The employee at the store acted as if she didnt want to go get my package that I had sent to the store. Then when she came back to the register she didnt explain to me what she was doing or if I needed to do anything.

2021-10-20Well it was my first time ever going in there I really dont go to the Mall. I went to Is Victoria secrets to get a new bra there was something going on and couldnt take anymore people so I was headed to JCPenny and I was walking by the store thought why not so I went in was very happy with the services. They were very friendly and helpful to me. I am very happy with what I had Purchased.

2020-10-10Always love going to Torrid and so happy that they had the dressing rooms available. Not many stores are letting you try clothes on due to the Covid 19 restrictions and safety precautions. So its really nice to be able to go in and try clothes on and not have to worry about returning things. Before I went into the dressing room it was cleaned and sanitized and then afterwards she did it again. The employees were friendly and they had a great sale going on buy one get two free in the clearance area. They also had buy one get one 75% off for regular priced merchandise. They always have such cute clothes here & sales, will be returning!

2019-12-21I love shopping at Torrid, but I wish the Associates were a bit more helpful. The store was not very busy when I visited. I was trying to see the tag of an item of clothing, but couldnt easily reach the item. It was hung on the top rack and the tag was on the collar of the item. After struggling a few minutes trying to get the hanger off the rack, I finally just pulled the item off the hanger. Luckily, the item was my size and the price was right. Also, there was another customer, who was looking at dresses. She didnt see her size and I suggested she try the sizes that were available because sometimes clothes are not true to the size indicated. She agreed to try the dresses on. If she bought the dress I do not know, but having an Associate near by to offer help would have been nice for both of us. But in spite of all that, I love the clothes, shoes and accessories!

2019-06-12Love the selection of clothing here. Im able to buy for my mother, 16 yr old daughter, and myself all in one trip. The employees are very sweet and very helpful. Ive always had a positive experience every shopping trip to Torrid.
