It negative stars were an option this place would be a strong -10. I would rather pay twice as much anywhere than deal with this place that hires people who don’t know customer service or what they are evening talking about. Chick at the desk was all over the place with her story and even pulled the mechanic up front to try and have him help support a story he couldn’t even follow. Save your time, money and sanity! STAY AWAY!
The front desk ladies were rude and did not have any good customer service. They were extremely rude on the phone. The workers themselves were lazy and did not finish the job that we needed. They also forgot to balance the new tires they put on. We will never use them ever again unless it is a last resort.
Shanel is an asset to your company! I was in desperate need of a tire, and was struggling with my phone. From out of town, I had no idea where your shop was located. Shanel was entirely patient with me, providing directions as my phone was low on power and kept restarting. How many times did I have to call her back, and ask her to repeat the directions and the address of your shop. I eventually arrived at your store with minutes before closing. In 20 minutes, I had a new tire on my car. Thank you tremendously, Shanel!
Lots of hidden costs, untrained, dangerous, underinformed staff, work done improperly.Had a set of 4 tires put on a truck with alloy wheels. The staff ran them down with an impact wrench as tight as it would go. I went to re-torque them with my own torque wrench and the breaking torque was way over 200ft*lbs (i.e. over the maximum my torque wrench would read). This can break or stretch wheel bolts and cause the catastrophic failure of the wheel. I mentioned this to the staff, they didnt care.In my time waiting in the shop they did this same thing with every single vehicle that came through. No torque wrench, no torque sticks, nothing. Just as tight as an impact wrench would go.My second experience was just 2 loose wheels. They quoted me a price around $200 and it ended up being about $300. They charged me for replacement TPMS valve caps despite the wheels not having TPMS on them AND they put dirty, used caps on, claiming they were new. There seems to be one guy there who knows what hes doing. No one else does or cares. Expect to wait for the employees to get done texting each other or having personal conversations before they bother to deal with you as a customer.
Overall, Tire Barn provided great service. I was very impressed with the technicians in that they were professional, took care with my vehicle, and were friendly and efficient. The inside area needs attention with the basic cleaning being first. Chairs were dirty and worn, the floor was dirty, garbage was sitting around, and the counter area was cluttered and dirty with various items including someones half eaten lunch. The individual working the counter was eating a snack (not the half eaten lunch sitting on the other counter) while talking with me. In addition, it was quite evident they were not interested in being friendly (never once smiling) though they were indeed very helpful. The second day a different individual was inside; they were very friendly and again, helpful. Cleaning up the inside would go a long way to making extended visits better for customers and by default a more pleasant work environment for the team. All in all I was very pleased with product, pricing and service.
I needed specialty sized tires and shopped around. Tire Barn was able to get them the same day and at a great price. I was pressed for time and they were very diligent to accommodate my needs. I am more than impressed with the staff and service there. The wheels are balanced perfectly and my truck has a much smoother ride with the new tread. Sorry, I didnt time to clean the truck for the picture.
Slow service, ridiculous prices, employees pass right by you without making eye contact so that they dont gave to deal w/ you. Id recommend a little hole in the wall mechanic shop just 3 blocks south called 4 big tires. Its a family owned business. Great prices, theyll work w/ you, they stand by their work, and theyll buy good used tires off of you instead of just telling you that they are junkies them and charging you a little extra, which the majority of places, thats exactly how they operate........ Update. Tire Barn saw the review, gave a # and extension to call to help solve the problem and figure out what happened... Obviously I had a bad experience there. But again, Obviously, someone there does care and trjes to fix the issues. Personally Id hate to get anyone in trouble, or heaven forbid fired over my Google rating so I dont plan on calling. But I do give them props for the attempt, for actually caring and reaching out. Most places would not do that. Therefore I am editing my review and giving them 1 more star. And heck, now I might even give them a try again next time I need tires! Thank you for the attempt Tire Barn, that was big of you, for lack of a better term. And I do appreciate it!!
Tire Barn has really gone down hill. Used to be able to get tires same day. I was given an “appointment time”. Going on over 2 hours after that time and they still have not pulled my vehicle in. Probably won’t be coming back. If you give someone an appt time honor it. People don’t have time to sit around all day.
So I came in asked for a certain employee(eugenia) which I found out that they no longer work for the company any more. Instead of that being left at that this employee on her own went into details about this employee being fired and why she was fired. I didn’t ask nothing else but for her to be telling this former employees business was very unprofessional. If she told me that I can only imagine how many other customers she told this too.
Ive done business with tire barn for over ten years, we recently perched tires there for my car. After leaving with my new tires installed there was a lot of road noise. After confronting the manager about the noise I was told the noise would subside after the first tire rotation. When the noise persisted after the next rotation and the next, they said that the tires were cupped and that the alignment must be off. They ran an alignment check and said it was way off. At this point I was not buying off on their expertise on the situation, so I brought the car to two other shops both of which said my alignment was fine. So to be clear up to this point: I was sold tires that were installed wrong, I was told several times that the problem would correct its self with rotations, and I was lied to about the alignment of my vehicle. When asked what they would do to make it right they replied we can give you a discount on new tires ....give me a break. I will not be returning to this location, it would be who of you to avoid it as well.
I had a nail in my tire. They said, they had fixed it (and charged my as such). I drive off with the tire pressure light still on. Got out and checked the tire. The nail is still in the tire. Even if it was 2 nails, how could they miss it? If I could give lower than 1 star, that’s what I would have given that! I hadn’t been to Tire Barn for years. Because of past experiences, and now I will never return!
BIG THANKS to Tire Barn for always helping me out with great tires for my Ford Flex, and especially to Bryan for his assistance making sure I always get a great deal. He looks for what will fit my budget and works with me to find the best products and services. Great customer service and quality workmanship! Highly recommend!
I will start off with the good..... We were able to get in quickly(same day) for 2 new tires and they were much cheaper than anyone else that I tried. The staff were pleasant and knowledgeable. The bad .....I was told that it would take 30 min and it actually took 2 hours. Then as I was driving off I noticed that my tire pressure indicator on my dash said that one of the new tires was low so I went back in and there was no rush to get it taken care of.
Found a set of tires on their website that listed as in stock and scheduled an appointment for the following afternoon. When I arrived at my appointment, I was informed the tires were not in stock. The employee suggested I buy a set that were in stock for a significantly higher price. When I declined and prepared to leave, she offered to order the original tires. I agreed and was told they would call the next day when the tires arrived. The next day, 4pm and no call. I called to get an updated timeframe and was told the tires had arrived, but there were no appointments available for 2 days. I took the next available appointment, Saturday morning.Saturday morning, I arrive to my appointment. They remove the tires from my car, then inform me they ordered the wrong size of tire. The employee again suggests I buy tires at a significantly higher price that are currently in stock in the right size.I asked them to put the tires back on my car and took my business elsewhere. They are either criminally dishonest or grossly incompetent. Personally, I believe the later - but either way, it was well past time to move on.
Tire Barn is my go to place for my tires. I got my rear tires replaced the other day. Gena is so friendly and welcoming when you first come in; greatest customer service! And Anthony treated my car with such care and had the job done so fast. Overall, best experience, 10/10 recommend!
I was coming from out of town when my tire exploded on the highway. Emanuel was so compassionate and genuine with his service. I knew everything was in great hands and indeed they were! I highly recommend this location for any tire services. Being a young lady I often feel vulnerable in these type of instances because many mechanics/car technicians try to take advantage but this was NOT at all the case. Great customer service, great service.
Three different visits over the course of a week and we still don’t have our tires. We asked for our rim back and went elsewhere. The first time, they told us they had the tires in stock - then they didn’t. Then they ordered them - but they ordered the wrong kind. Then they scheduled an appointment to put them on after re-ordering the right kind (which were significantly more expensive) - but they apparently didn’t arrive and no one called to tell us not to come to our appointment. Go somewhere else and save your time.
I went there yesterday morning for a wheel alignment. I was first in the line, and it was done within just 30 minutes. However, while driving back, I felt that my car was leaning towards the left side. I returned to the shop immediately, told this issue, and they quickly re-aligned my car for the second time. They assured me that it will never happen again. However, the problem was not fixed!Today I went there for the third time! This time both Bryan and Emanuel took this issue seriously, Emanuel quickly test drove the car and verified that my car was actually leaning towards the left side. They informed me that there was nothing wrong with the alignment. It was happening because of a damaged wheel rotor (or something else, I did not get it!).This time they took almost one hour to carefully diagnose and fix the issue. Finally, it has been resolved after the third round, and I am happy with the quality.I was frustrated at the beginning, as I had to visit there a total of three times to fix a simple alignment issue. However, they politely dealt with it, figured out the root cause and carefully fixed it. I am satisfied with their service.
I called around 10am and talked to the receptionist about getting 4 new tires, balancing, and alignment done ... I was a good hour/hour and half away at the time ... Then driving up, traffic got stalled which put me behind even more ... I finally arrived around 4:30pm and they close at 6pm ... The gentleman who does the alignments was awesome ! ... Even though he’d be here past closing, he still worked me in ... Highly recommend this crew ! ... They work for their customers not their paychecks ! ... The store Manager Bryan is who we worked with
I made an appointment online this morning after seeing a bulge in my tire. I had already been planning on a new set, so this was the cue. I installed the spare in place of the damaged tire and showed up about 15 minutes prior to look at the tires Id chosen online. We went outside to look at the truck tires to ensure proper size, etc. I asked that they just throw the spare back in the bed of the truck and could reinstall under truck when I got home. The sales guy checked availability and gave me $70 off the package. Estimated time was a couple hours and that they would call when done. My wife followed, so we went to the grocery. I got the call pulling out of the store that it was ready - about 1.5 hrs! 4 new tires and an alignment. Pick up and payment went smoothly, and sales guy from before came out to say thanks. They even reinstalled my spare tire back in its cubby under the truck. I am very pleased, appreciate the great customer service, and the pricing was good also. Thanks Bryan
Brian was great today when I took my car in for a tire changeover. The tires I wanted put on were in terrible shape, and he informed me of that. I agreed to have four new tires put on instead. Brian was very helpful in finding me the best tires and the best price today. I am very appreciative of this. I would recommend Tire Barn to anyone who needs quality tire service.
We have been taking our fleet of vehicles to Tire Barn for years. They always treat us well. I have never had any issues with any of their staff. I have always received good service. They are courteous, friendly, and dependable. They always work with me when picking out the new tires I want for each vehicle. Very knowledgeable about their inventory. Thanks to everyone at Tire Barn for all your years of good service.
Really unprofessional! I dropped off my truck at 8am when my tires paid for in advance online finally came in 3 weeks later...I asked them to also align if its needed and they advised they would and they would call me when its finished. I had not heard anything by 2:30 and called them and I was told it was done 2 hours prior and I asked why I wasnt called but the person said she didnt know. I asked if the tires were aligned she stated yes it needs aligned.. I advised this was what I asked be completed if it needed done. She said she didnt know why it wasnt done either. Knowing my truck was already there and this was my day off I had them just do the alignment and I finally got my truck after 4 p.m. Im confused about previous good reviews!!
I had a damaged tire that needed repair and had some anxiety about whether or not the job could be completed. Tire Barn was able to get my car in the same day, and their hours worked with my schedule. My issue was identified and corrected within an hour! Bryan was kind, professional, and helpful, and as a first time customer Tire Barn really impressed me. I would trust them again, they went above and beyond and gave me the best deal possible!
Thank you so much, Tire Barn, for fixing my flat tire 15 minutes before closing! I really dont know what I would have done. Your willingness to not just fix my tire, but to stay past closing time to do it right and with a smile is very much appreciated! I really cannot thank you enough. Another reason why I always get my tires from Tire Barn!
After a very long day of work I came out to find that I had a completely flat tire. After waiting at Walmart (closest place to my work) for almost 20 minutes they told me they would not be able to fit me in. Since basically every tire place in CU closes at 7 I was extremely stressed about not being able to get a new tire tonight and having to deal with getting my car towed the next day or paying for AAA. I arrived at Tire Barn 10 minutes before closing and they still fit me in to get me a tire and got me back on the road. The men were very nice and helpful and I greatly appreciated them squeezing me in even though I am sure they were ready to go home.
After making sure they had the tires we needed, I went to Tire Barn for my new tires. I did not have an appointment and understood if I needed to come back another day if it was too busy. It was not that busy and was told it would take an hour. I walked to get lunch and came back in an hour and noticed my van had not even left the parking lot yet. I went in and asked for a more accurate time estimate. I was told I would be next. Then I watched two more vehicles be brought into the garage. I then asked the same person at the desk again, and was overheard by another employee who immediately, personally made sure my van was next. Overall, the van took 2 hours and 40 minutes to get done, which was way longer than told. But, Kareem was very helpful to make sure everything was taken care of on my van and was very friendly. I was starting this review before being helped by Kareem. My rating went up due to him. I appreciate his kindness and understanding and his ability to make sure the customer knows they are being heard.
It seem like they always to busy to do anything. Response to how long it would take is like you getting on their nerves. The point of a good business is that you always want to be busy, its show people are will to come back. If I didnt have a warranty spending 1200 on all around tires I wouldnt go back. Its how you say thing not what you say. Appointment are never accurate either. I just needed air that take 5 mins and was told we are busy if i want to wait it be 15mins for something that doesnt take that long.
I called at 11 am to have new tires put on and an alignment. They said, “Come on in!” Arrived at 11:30 am. They told me 2.5 hours to wait. At 4:15, they still hadn’t done an alignment. I had to leave to pick up my daughter. 5 hours...why was everyone else helped before me? I’ll never come here again or recommend their associate companies.
Ive never really had a problem with this place until today. The wait has always been long but I usually go on the weekend so I understand that its busy. For that very reason, I made an appointment a week ahead of time for 9 AM. They didnt even touch my truck until nearly 11. Then it took them another hour and a half to remove my old wheels and put the new ones on, (new wheels were already mounted and balanced) they did have to swap my TPMS to the new wheels which I understand takes a little more time but I saw no sense of urgency anywhere in that shop. There was a lot of strolling around and not much effort for efficiency. On top of waiting nearly 3.5 hours, I was then informed that they would be unable to do a wheel alignment because the part they need to do my particular wheels is busted. It was also included on my appointment request that I wanted my tires disposed of. After I already paid they asked me what I wanted to do with my old tires and rims. I gave him a ten dollar bill to dispose of the tires, then he says it will be extra to take them off the rims after already putting them in my truck without asking if I wanted to have them removed first. Basically just trying to get me out the door because they knew I wasnt happy. Im usually pretty understanding about things like this because Im a working class guy myself but the employees here obviously dont care that much about customer service. So ultimately I saved a little cash but I would have rather paid full price and gotten what I asked for.
Had a flat tire that needed replaced. Offered me a variety of options to replace the tire and asked if I wanted add on services. Even though I brought in a loose wheel they installed it on my vehicle for no additional charge. I didnt make an appointment but they were able to squeeze me in for the install in a reasonable amount of time.
Tire Barn has sold me my last 4 sets of tires. Theyve always taken care of me and my visit yesterday was no exception. I called a few days before my install to make sure they had the tires I wanted, and I was surprised they had them in stock. Made my install appointment for 8am, which is when they open. 40 minutes after handing over my keys, I received a call that my car was ready for pickup. I had a lot of running around to do that day and had to go back for a re-torque on the wheel nuts. I was in and out in 5 minutes. Damn good tire shop.
I came in needing new tires on a budget. Ive always used tire barn in the past so I expected decent help. I was wrong. They pulled up my information while complaining about the computer system the entire time. After 15 minutes of waiting for that he told me what I got last time and printed me out a quote. I was told they were the same tires but the cost seemed higher. I was hesitant but they made it seem like my only choice so I said Okay I need new tires but made it clear I was trying not to spend a lot if I didnt need to. I sat down but then realized neither of us had mentioned any other tire options. I went up to ask, and he came out a few minutes later while I was waiting at thr desk. I saw he had gotten the tires out but no work had been done yet. I attempted to ask a question after he had a brief conversation with another customer but I was ignored. I waited for 20 minutes at the desk while he hid in the back. After I sat down he came back out and I overheard him talking to another employee that they still needed another $200 that day to beat their goal. After the work was done and I paid, I went to my car and pulled out my last purchase receipt. The tires were the same but the cost of the tires had gone down, yet somehow I was charged an extra $40 more than last time! It made no sense, I didnt ask for anything different, standard install and hazard protection. Thats it. I feel like I was overcharged to meet their goal.
Brian Mitchell took care of me. His customer service was great and above superb. It was another guy I think his name was Bryan also he was very rude and in a hurry to leave. He offered no help. I really needed my tire fixed so i could head back home to Peoria IL. Thanks again Brian and Tire Barn.
Had a nail in my tire and was told I’ll need to order a new tire. Said they would call me early the following week to confirm pricing and set an appointment. No one ever called back, and I tried to call several times during business hours (no one picked up). Went to another tire shop in town and happily gave them my business.
It was my first time replacing tires for my car - i was informed by the sales representative over the phone that there was a Black Friday Sale which was buy 3 get 1 free - I was told at the time of the sale that there was roadside protection that was included in the purchase. I paid for my bill and when I reached home i found that i was billed Road Hazard Coverage for 61.04 and a Lifetime Install Package for 119.96. I did not consent to these purchases and neither was i informed about this during the time of purchase. I called the store upon - they said that this was a requirement for the sale and the individual over the phone intimated that they had to make up for the cost of that free tire. I didnt feel that this was fair and the cost of the Road Hazard Coverage and the Lifetime Install Package far exceeded the cost of the wheel. Why would anyone take up an offer like this if they knew that it was embedded in the offer? I felt taken advantage of that I was not informed of the fine print. When i checked their website, there were no details about this offer. Please do not go to this warehouse, they take advantage of unsuspecting customers. Go to your Costco or Sams Club - at least theres transparency and ethics in what they do. Lesson learnt - check your bill before signing the documents and before leaving tire barn!
Earlier today I called around town to see about getting my 2 front tires looked over for leaks. Pretty much everybody in town was unavailable to get me in today but not tire barn. They treated me extremely nice on the phone starting with a great greeting and ending with we will be able to help right away sir. In the end there was a decently bad leak on the front driver side and would’ve caused me problems getting to work tomorrow had nobody been able to help me today. Massive thanks to everybody at the facility, service was very fast & friendly, also free WiFi in the waiting room, bathroom was spotless, seemed like they were getting everybody else’s issues solved fast too so the waiting lobby was pretty peaceful (no upset customers) The two Brian’s at the front counter gave me excellent advice on what tire would be best for my car as well as my budget and they also had a really good moto of “seeing is believing” meaning they wheeled out my old tire and showed me the air leak and explained why this one wouldn’t be able to be patched. Overall I’d say very educated and dedicated crew as well excellent customer service skills.
They are one of the few places in town that had my nonstandard sized tires in stock, and the price was okay. But be prepared to wait a while to get your tires put on... They told me the wait would be about an hour and it took closer to 2. At least the waiting area was nice and cool with A/C and the chairs are comfy.Employees were very cheerful and helpful both on the phone and in person.
Got off work this morning and realized I might have a hole in my tire. Was going to go to Walmart to have it fixed but went to Tire Barn instead! The guys there were great! They got me in right away! They were super efficient and very generous! I will forever go to Tire Barn for any tire issues! Thanks guys!
Great customer service, everyone was really helpful through the process. My rims are plasti-dipped and they did a great job taking care not to scratch them up. But, a few issues. 1: I had an appointment for 6pm, it was after 7 when they started on my car. 2: I was quoted $239.99 per tire out the door. When I arrived the price was $269.99 per tire. They were nice enough to take my word for it and adjust the price. 3: The out the door price did not include tax or environmental fees which was an additional $60. Great service but get a quote in person, on paper if you can before shopping around. One other quirk that totally isnt their fault, more of a company policy, they wont tell you the actual price of the tire, only the total price which includes all of their warranties, labor etc. I could buy this particular tire online for $180 a piece but they wont tell me what the breakdown of the $239 is to know if theyre actually competitive on the tire pricing.
This is the only place I get my tires. Friendly folks no matter how busy. Honest as well. I just took a tire in that I was certain was destroyed. I told them so. Went flat and had to drive on it to get to a safe stopping point. Not long, but that still usually means a dead tire. They were able to patch it for me. Still going strong. Brian really hooked me up. Thanks. Ill be back.
So today I found out after work I had a flat tire two flat tires and so I called Tire Barn and ask them if they had my tires and they did for a good reasonable price so then and I went to Tire Barn to get my tires fixed I meant Emmanuel Turner who works at Tire Barn and he was a phenomenal customer service rep who help me with whatever I need and we had some good laughs and we also just literally like had a good conversation and he had me laughing i just had a all around good time at the tire barn and they will be taking all my money (Period) so TIRE BARN IS THE WAY TO GOO!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH Emmanuel Turner and the Tire Barn team thank you for fixing my tires and you guys are amazing team great customer service just all-around great you deserve a gold star plaque but thank you for the all-around amazing service and I will be seeing you again.
Had an appointment scheduled at 11:30am to get four new tires. Unfortunately I did not have a spare but I brought in one of the tires and they changed it out immediately. I drove home, replaced my flat tire, drove back to Tire Barn to get the other three replaced. (All within 15 min, I live down the road.) After coming back, about 12 pm, I gave the key back to them and waited for the other three tires. Waited. And waited some more. 4 hours later, about 4:05 pm it was time to leave, finally. I’m giving two stars instead of one because they did offer me free alignment, but after saying it’s fine I will not be back, one employee wants to say “Awe, are you mad at us?” *Sarcastically* No, I’m extremely happy about waiting 4 hours for a 1 hour job with an appointment.
Would leave zero stars if I could. This is the worst place to get tires. I purchased 4 brand new tires one year and 2 months ago. Upon leaving they broke one of my tire sensors and denied it offering only to put a new one in of course that they’d charge me for. I’ve stopped in numerous times to see if they could plug a screw or whatever always to be given a 2-3+ hour wait and/or talked down to. They do not make same day appointments so for someone with 2 jobs it’s kinda hard to get in there. I purchased a roadside assistance warranty and was told that no matter what happened to the tires aside from someone slashing them they would be covered. I made the appointment yesterday to go in and they tell me it’s going to be an hour. I leave and 30 min later I get a call saying my tire isn’t under warranty anymore. They said that it’s not covered because it’s too worn. So this extended warranty that I paid for and never got to use is just money down the drain because they refuse to fix the tire or replace it. There is currently a screw in the tire. All this company cares about is the money not. Please see all the negative reviews and know they are there for a reason. If you want to be screwed over they will be happy to do it. I requested the money I paid for the warranty back since it’s apparently no good and I never got to use it all for the “manager” to be rude and disrespectful and treat me like I’m a stupid woman. Worst purchase of my life. Never again.
Had a couple of repairs and a tire to order. Came on a Saturday and Bryan went above and beyond. Came in on a Saturday and they were slammed. He never wavered in his customer service and effort. Appreciate a team that handles the manual labor and customer care - no matter how people may treat them.
Went on an extremely busy time of day, and was informed of a possible 3 1/2 hr wait. After explaining to Bryan that Im from out of town and will have no choice to wait, he was able to move me ahead of some other vehicles that were drop offs so that I wouldnt have such a long wait. Would have been content watching TV and relaxing for the time being. Kuddis to the entire staff today for going the job done, and doing what it takes to achieve customer satisfaction
Tried to charge me for an alignment that they did not perform, because they said I didnt ask for it when I did, obviously because it was part of the charges. When I insisted they do an alignment, I waited for a half hour and they said I didnt need it and rang me up without it. So the first salesperson attempted to steal around $150 from me if I hadnt asked what I was being charged for. Tires are cheap at least and in the end I wasnt charged for the alignment, but I still need it. Ill go somewhere else cause Ill definitely not go back.
After having a regular tire balance and rotation 2 sensors went out and they told me it was their relearn tool. They then told us to get new sensors. We bought 2 new sensors and took it in and then the new sensors and one of me old sensor supposedly went out now. So now I have 3 broken tpms sensors that have been broken in their shop before ever driving away and they will not so anything to fix it or work with me manager is super rude. Please do not take your vehicle here. They are not professional and damage working parts and will not fix. We had to take to the dealership to fix and program new sensor again.
When I took my car in I thought I was going to get two new tires because I was told a nail was in one and it could be repaired. Emmanuel said “who told you that you needed new tires” that right there shows you that they are honest. They aren’t going to sell you tires just because. Secondly, they were able to repair it and saved me lots of money. They come highly recommended!!!!!!
If I could give them no star I would. This was by far the worst experience I have had in a car service shop. First I asked the front desk sales person to measure the tire threads and advise me on which ones possibly needed replacing as we were planing on a cross country drive. He walked up to my car without any measuring device and looked at the tires, totally clueless. No measurement was done and no solid recommendation was made as to which tires needed replacing. So, my decision to replace 3 out of the 4 tires was based solely on my own assessment. The guy was totally clueless. Their service was subpar and the tires were overpriced. After deciding on the tires I wanted they told me it would take about 2 hours to do the work. I am software developer and decided to use their wifi to get some work done. The wifi was not working. I could not connect so I talked to the front desk guy who seemed to be one of the senior guys. He looked at his phone and said that he needs to reset the wifi to get it back on line. I waited a while and there was still no wifi Apparently my request to fix the wifi was ignored the first time. So, I ask again, and he again told me that he needs to reset the wifi as there was an issue with it. He then again totally ignored my request and went back to whatever he was doing. Do not go to this place. It is overpriced, with horrible customer service and clueless staff. Dont waste your money and time in this place.
Our new vehicle blew a tire 2 weeks after we got it. We purchased our truck for my partners business providing sound and music for events and weddings. It was Friday evening, the night before a big wedding he would need the vehicle for. We of course went straight to Tire Barn, our go to for tire emergencies. Unfortunately, they did not have the tire we needed in stock. We were desperate and could not wait until Monday, the day they quoted the tire could be in. We explained our situation and without hesitation, Brian T. offered to go and pick up the specialty tire for us. Our tire was fixed by 6:30 that night! Brian T and the rest of the staff are always honest, upfront, and incredibly helpful when we need them!
Terrible experience, 30% more expensive than the estimate online. We made an appointment online to get new tires, when we arrived we still had to repeat every single piece of information. The price quote for the tires with installation online was 270, but they charged us 360. When we asked where that difference comes from the guy got extremely rude. He was not able to properly explain the difference at all, saying that the difference was the installation (it wasn‘t). We paid it mostly because we just wanted to get out of there. We also waited more than two hours the first day, then they told us that the machine they use to check the alignment is not working so we had to come back the next day, where they didn‘t even pull in our car for over one hour. Not usually the person to write a review, but we thought we have to warn people about this place.
These guys are great. Since I moved into the area a few years ago, Ive needed somewhere to take my m3 that is able to deal with low-profile tires without hassle. These guys are great. Every time I take my car in they treat me like family and are more than willing to give me advice and answer questions.I will be taking my car here for all tire/wheel needs for here on out. Solid customer service.
Friendly. But when you want $80 to swap fully mounted wheel sets (no tire mounting involved), something is out of whack.Edit: Dropped from 2>1 star after finding my receipt from last season. Total was $48 with tax. They want $80 eight months later. Pricing is made up on the fly. Easy to take advantage of customers.
They would not tell me if the tires could be mounted in the same day whenI spoke on the phone that I would just have to show up, wait all day and chance it. Kareem gave me a dirty look right away as I walked in, him and another employee debated on how much to charge me when I was holding a price quote from TireBarn in my hand, they wouldnt honor the price quote of $47 and said well its $50 if you want to do it here and made a big deal out of $3. They mounted the tires but forgot the valve stem caps, and all my TPMS lights were on. Every time I walked back in to tell them they forgot something they would just give me a dirty look instead of apologizing the poor quality of work. I left another bad review of Facebook and the owner or person in charge of customer service left a number, but never answered my numerous calls to it, leaving me to believe they want to appear that they care about customer service while not providing any.
Husband waited for four hours to get his tires changed. He waited in the lobby for over an hour after his car was done because they did not contact him. They did not call his name in the lobby. The receptionist did not dial 217 before his phone number and got another mans number. She refused to believe that she needed to dial 217. She blamed him and told him to get his phone checked. She did not call out his name in the lobby, even though she said she did. He missed an important family event for waiting over 4 hours. She refused to take any amount of blame for this incident. She did not apologize or offer us a discount for waiting so long. She was snippy and rude and we are never going back.
Bought every set of tires since I was 16 from tire barn. After buying tires 10 moths ago they are completely worn. Told me to get my car aligned when bought which I did but they couldn’t do it so now they said I’m screwed it’s an alignment problem. They should told me they wouldn’t warranty there product when I bought them. Generally speaking Now that they moved they are slow as can be and not good a deal.
Literally go anywhere else. They didnt listen to what I wanted done, and then put an even more severely damaged wheel back on the car, after they told me it was severely bent. I should have left the bulged tire alone. I took my car to Beaumont Tires where they did exactly what I asked and guess what... it didnt damage the tire like Tire Barn said. However, that really was a gamble. This was a waste of time and energy on my already stressful day. Im never doing business here again, and Im never taking recommendations from a parent company again either.
Dont allow Tire Barn to do mechanical work to your car. I had an alignment check done by them. They said I needed a new tie rod, price $450.00!! (they only replace them in pairs) I asked if I could bring in my own parts to save some money on the repair. They dont allow that. I decided to get a 2nd opinion and found out that the tie rod did not need replaced, but just the tie rod end (separate part) needed replaced. a quoted $450 job ended up costing me less than $50 for a tie rod end. I consider them dishonest mechanics (at-least in my case). They will however, price match tires and they offer a lifetime tire & wheel rotation & balance package. Pre-scheduled appointments always take more than an hour just for a rotation & balance at Tire Barn in Champaign.
When the guys at tire barn got my Jeep it was literally DESTROYED & that may even be an understatement in all honesty ..but , Brian & Emanuel were amazing - they went above & beyond from answering my questions, calling around to help me find the parts I needed & they were even kind enough to keep me updated on the entire situation and- had me back in my Jeep waaaaay sooner than I thought I would be ! My truck is running better , riding smoother & it didn’t break my bank !
Though I understand that an underlying goal of retail service is to maximize sell, this location is very shady in terms of not giving you all the facts before you walk out the door. For instance, one example yes your tire comes with a mileage warranty (end of pitch), yet, (read the fine print), you need documented evidence of tire rotation and no proof of tire neglect--all of which is understandable; however, clarity and being upfront is important. Further, one of the store managers was very rude and unhelpful. He was very cut and dry with me, offering little guidance on next steps and did not offer any supportive advice or, I would say, encouragement that they are willing to support, even if it was just for my return service. Stick with local businesses such as TMS auto, Crawford transmission, and Beaumont alignment plus, that have been very straight up and genious and supportive with their services.
Rudest place Ive ever been to walked in and right out. Had a bad experience with them a few years ago and thought maybe they were better but I was so wrong. Called ahead to see if they had a tire I needed and was told to just come right in so drive 45mins to get there and the front desk ladies were so rude I couldnt believe that was actually customer service and that they even had a job. Was told it would be a 2 hour wait to even get my car in and if I left and and wasnt back by the time they called me in they would throw away my ticket and I would get no service. We walked out and refuse to go back to that place. They need to get better employees that actually know what customer service is.
My boyfriend called in ahead and all he needed was new tires and checking alignment. It ended up taking twice as long as they initially stated. When we came back to get the car we discovered they had not checked the alignment so then we had to wait even longer. The rest of the service was fine, but it was sloppy on how it all came together, maybe it was just an off day.
Brian has been nothing but helpful. Polite on the phone before I came in. Had a smile on his face the moment I came in. He was completely honest and was more than willing to try to work with my budget. And while I was waiting he did the same for everyone else he was speaking to. This is the sort of service that has me coming back to this place.
I called at around 4pm the night before to set up an 8 AM appointment. When I arrived this morning at 8, there was no record of making the appointment. I’m sure this caused it to be a bit longer to get the job finished, it was still done in a fairly reasonable amount of time. The staff seemed friendly and knowledgeable and did a great job at answering the couple questions I had about the service I received. The price was also a little cheaper than I had been given on estimate a few days before I brought it in. Overall, would recommend to a friend.
Bryan and Kaream went out of their way to make sure that the job was done right. It was not only a great job, it was perfect. I have been a Tire Barn satisfied customer for a long time. But this time I needed something special and they were more than willing to give the extra help. Thanks for a great job Bryan & Kaream.
Ive been putting off writing this review cause it somewhat pains me to do so.Years ago, I took my first Jeep Wrangler to Tire Barn for its first set of new tires after the factory Wranglers failed at 29k miles. I went with BFG AT/KO 31x10.5 tires all the way around, and the service was *spectacular*. I had to order wheels at the same time, so we just ordered a whole set of wheels and tires. They showed up the next day, and I was in and out the door in an hour or so, for a whole set of wheels and tires! They even had to mount/balance the tires. This was around ten years ago.Recently, my 09 Wrangler Xs second set of tires, also BFG AT/KOs, gave up the ghost. I threw the wrong-size spare on and drove to Tire Barn. I knew exactly what I wanted---5x BFG AT/KO2 LT285/70R17, C-rated---and I wanted them put on the stock wheels. Tire Barn said they had two in stock, but somehow could not order more. Then they tried to sell me something different, and not at all what I wanted. During this whole process they also told me that what I was looking for was an uncommon size...In no way is it an odd size. Its literally the tire size everyone with a JK Wrangler upgrades to when they dont have a lot of suspension work already done! Its slightly bigger than the factory Rubicon tires. We decided to give Farm n Fleet a try, and were equally nonplussed with their service, inability to order what I wanted, etc.I decided to just go home and order from Tire Rack. Tire Rack recommended Beaumont Tire and Auto Repair, and I should have gone with them...It would have cost more, but it would have saved me a good bit of time and frustration down the road. Unfortunately, I went with Tire Barn for the installation. One guy---Antonio---at Tire Barn seemed to have a clue. He did a great job of getting my tires off the wheels, and pointed out that basically all of my TPMS sensors except for one needed to be replaced...So I had him go ahead and do them except for that one before he mounted/balanced the tires.Tire Barn used to be appointment-only, but now they accept walk/drive-ins...So it took them ~ four hours to get everything done. Thats way too long.Of course, after the new TPMS sensors were installed, the TPMS light flashed, indicating that it couldnt talk to all the sensors...They told me to just drive it a few days and check back with them.I did, and the TPMS light didnt ever stop flashing. So I went back. So, they had to unmount a tire, replace a TPMS sensor, and re-mount the tire...Which also took another three and a half hours. Even after that, I still have a TPMS error light flashing...And I really am just disinclined to go sit there for another four hours while they try to figure it out, so Ill just live with the light until I need tires again in another 50k or so miles.I am disappointed. I used to like Tire Barn a lot, and Antonio provided great service as far as he could, but I will not be going back there again. They used to be the go-to place for tires in town, but I wouldnt recommend them to anyone at all at this point.Just go to Beaumont. Youll pay more, but itll be worth it.Update: it took EIGHT MONTHS to get this resolved...Two more trips to Tire Barn to complain, one trip to the dealership for them to take a look and write out a note saying, YOU ARE USING THE WRONG TPMS SENSORS, MORONS, and another trip to Tire Barn with said note finally got them to listen. They did finally get it right, but now my tires have been off the wheels like four times, and thats just not gonna be good for them.Im not going back. I told them, repeatedly, that they were using the wrong sensors, but stuck with their, this is what the computer says, and they are reading right using our scan tool. Well, too bad.Review downgraded to one star, which is youve lost my business at this point rating.
Extremely slow regardless the time of day you visit. It took 90 minutes to have a tire repaired from a nail puncture. When I arrived for my 1030am appointment there was one other person in the waiting area. I cant remember a time when I havent had to wait a very long time. The positive is Tire Barn has extensive hours of operation.
So I went in to get my two front tires replaced. They originally quoted me 30 mins on the phone when I called and then when i arrived 15 mins later they quoted me 1 hour and 45 mins. It ended up taking them 2 hours and 45mins to replace just two tires which i found quite ridiculous for how small of a job it was. Finally they finished putting my tires on my van and when I got home found that lug nuts on the drivers side wheel were loose and almost all of my lug nut covers on that side were gone. I attempted to call them to resolve this problem and was treated with rude behavior and hung up on by Kyle their front desk attendant. I would take your business else where because it seems they dont care about their customers time or questions about the service they experienced.
Been going here loyally for years. Always would have given 4 stars for price and speed. This time the manager chose to put a tire back on a repaired rim he thought was poorly repaired, chose to use rim seal as a workaround, didnt tell us any of it until we came back in with the tire flat again to be defensive and combative with the customer about not guaranteeing any of their work as quality or complete.Atrocious behavior. No respect for their work. No respect for the severe bodily risk he created for my family member. Also lost a metal air valve cap cause theyre disorganized.
Dropped off a wheel to get a tire put on .They said give them 2 hours and I could pic it up. I stopped by 3 1/2 hrs later and still was not done..while I was waiting in line to inquire continuously would take phone calls making me wait longer. They were more worried about corporate policy then serving a customer at the counter.
I had an appointment for alignment at 4:30pm. I got there and they told me they were a little late. I asked if they could delivery the car at 6pm because I had a commitment and they said Yes, we can do that.At 6pm I went to check and my car was still in the parking lot. Their excuse was that they were stuck on another vehicle. They didnt even notified me the delay. It seems the online appointment is useless. I will never come back.
Hands down the rudest, and most arrogant people Ive dealt with. Tire barn is not only over priced, but they do shoddy work. Just one look at all the negative reviews here should tell your how bad they are. The manager is the worst one of them all, and will talk down to you and berate you in the middle of the store. I made the mistake of giving them my money, but rest assured I wont be making that mistake ever again.
They got us in late on a Friday and took care of an emergency tire issue. Probably explains why one of the two tires I bought only had 10 pounds of pressure. Youd figured if you drop a half grand on tires. Youd at least get your tires properly inflated. Car has now started making a noise when the wheel is turned and it isnt from the new tires. Its rare that a place not only steals your money. Because when you pay for nitrogen and your tire is 10 psi after leaving you jist jad your money stolen. Its rare that a tire place would make an attempt on your life. Because putting a tire on with little to no pressure on a car and sending them to drive 70 mph on it for 300 miles is just that. Its rare that a tire place would destroy your property. Thats what happens when you put an underinflated tire on an all wheel drive system. So please visit Tire Barn the pinnacle of incompetence and fraudulence in the tire maintenance industry.
This place is a MESS! I had 4 tires delivered here and for one it took 3 1/2 hours for them to get me out of there and this was after they put the hub cap on wrong. Then TWO days later they call me and tell me that they put the wrong tires on my car even AFTER I said something about the tires not matching the description of the tires I ordered. I was told every story under the sun about why they WERE the right tires! They are refunding me $50 BUT it is still not worth all of the BS! Plus We live a GOOD 45 minutes from the place! I will not be returning after this mess has been taken care of! EVER!
Brian Mitchell is the greatest he was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He helped me even when the other guy Bryan wouldnt he was very rude and not helpful at all he was just in a hurry to go home. Brian was even helpful with my kids. Thanks again Brian and Tire Barn.
I came as a walk in and 3 hours later still my car has not been in. I feel more for the man who had an appt, came with his two young girls and have been waiting here longer than me. Awful service and wait time. So disappointed in a company with this type of customer service. I would rate 0 if I could. As a walk in or with an appt I’ve always had to wait for a long inconvenient ridiculous time.
Hi this is Todd Hickethier, read my review further below. It has been over 1 year I have attempted 3 times to resolve this. I have never had worse service. Period. You threw out a perfectly good full sized spare instead of my flat tire. I still have the flat in my trunk. Prove me wrong, but I bet nothing continues to be done. Please dont post a 1800 number, ive called it 3 times service is bad there too. You have my phone number. Lets set up an appointment for you to replace the tire you threw a away.
I have been bringing my vehicles to tire barn exclusively for 15+ years never had a problem till today. Extremely rude employees, bought bran new tire had a bad vibration ( didnt have before going in ) took it back was told 1 - 1 1/2 hour waite time no problem .. Waited 3 hours before they pulled it in the shop ... Removed the new tire reblalanced it and put it back on .. Was told it wasnt properly balanced the 1st time .. Pulled out of the parking lot still had the same vibration .. Went back they told me theres no way its that tire and that they arent going to fix it again.. Guess you no longer want my or my familys buesness ..thats fine tires plus will gain 5 new coustomers now
Everytime I come in no matter what time its always hours wait. This time I come in and the staff is rude. Of course, they dont have enough time to get to my vehicle, which is expected since it closes in 2hrs, but they didnt offer to try to give me an appointment or tell me what time they open tomorrow. It was a plain its going to be a 4hr wait, so we wont to get to you. Not even an apology. Very poor customer service.
Their timing is a little off. I was told an hour and a half. Im still waiting and its been two hours. Also had two women come in after me and their cars were taken back way before mine. Sitting here with another customer who also isnt very happy waiting way longer then he was told as well. Not sure about the job they are doing but Ill let you know when I finally get my keys.
I’m done with Tire Barn. The last time I got tires and an alignment, I ended up with a lot of road noise. I should have known something was up because I was watching the mechanic from their waiting area. At one point, he started racing around my car looking frantically at the underside. After bringing my car back for another check on the alignment, the manager told me that they shouldn’t have done one and listed of HUNDREDS of dollars in repairs that I would need done. Forget that! I am done with this location and its crooked manager!
If you are a woman, do not go in alone. I was told only 2 tires needed to be replaced and when I went back in for the bolt tightening they informed the other 2 tires needed replacing as well. I was told in the first transaction I couldnt apply any special offers or deals because I was only buying 2 tires, and was told that since it was 2 separate transactions (to buy all 4) I still couldnt apply any specials. A former employee told me a few days later that they purposefully target women with these scams.
Go elsewhere. Went in with a flat tire, I put the spare tire on my car to drive there. Dropped it off with flat in trunk and spare on car. Had all four tires changed and they threw away my spare tire instead of my flat tire despite clear instructions. Its two weeks later and still no resolution. I still have a flat tire for a spare. They offered 30 dollars off using my money to buy a new tire which i wouldnt need to do if these tire experts could tell the difference between a flat tire and a spare. Save yourself the headache. I will update IF they get this resolved.
Went to tire barn with a screw in my tire and Brian checked it for me and asked if any air loss - I explained no but worried- he took the screw out and checked my tire again - thankfully I did not need a new tire - Brian is a great guy and life saver!!!Thank you so much Brian -- from the lady across the street Chrissy
I like their prices, just a heads up that the price quoted online will be different than what youll pay (state & local taxes). For instance, I was quoted $442 online, but I had to pay $515. The online quote may also include a rebate, which theyll give you a form for at the counter. Something to be aware of.
Took a tire in to get a screw removed and patched and instead of doing the job I asked it appears they tried to dismount my tire and destroyed the sidewall (talked to two other large shops in the area that saw it as well) and then claimed that there was a pinhole leak in it. I have photos. Crooked place.Oh and they wanted to sell me a new tire really quick too, sales must be down so destroy tires to make a sale?I was also told that there was a video of them working on my tire to show that they did nothing to it. Still waiting for the video. They must have actually watched it and saw what they did!!Goto Beaumont Tire for your tires!!!
Went to get nail out of tire and plug it until I could buy a new set of tires in the next couple of weeks they refused to plug tire fire me and therefore lost out on me buying tires from themWorst service and counter personnel I have ever encountered used to buy here all the time not anymore it took them 2 1/2 hours to tell me this
January 21, 2016 - THURSDAYCalled for an estimate then came in as a walk-in. Talked to Service rep and he quoted me told me about an hour and a half . An hour and a half came and went so I went cause I need to make money too and keep my commitments to others. Im not about to wait over three hours when he tells me 1.5 hours. ALSO dont bother using their coupons cause its all worked into the price already - in other words I was told today that they work them into the price so that their illiterate customers get the same deal - so I go through the work and effort and get nothing but a big waste of time. I did get one thing though and thats a good estimate to bargain with somewhere else. I wished it would have worked out here but you cant deal with people who cannot keep their word.
I have been trying for two months to get my car in to get tires rotated to keep my warranty goog on my tires. There is always a three hour wait for this service. Im very dissatisfied with this service . Think after such horrible service Ill go to farm and fleet for tires in the future. All I can say is DO NOT GO To TIRE BARN they dont appreciate returning customers.
Absolutely the worst place to have anything done. Be ready to spend your whole day here waiting to have something done to find out 4 hours later that they cant do it or wont do it for whatever reason. After going here multiple times for alignments and tires I will no longer come back. The customer service is horrendous to say the least. Dont make an appointment either because they dont do that and first come first serve, but even if you get there when the doors open you can be waiting for hours.
The price was great .. .$150 cheaper than everywhere else but the time spent waiting for them to put on 4 new tires shoes me why the price was so good....I can change 4 tires at home in my driveway in an hour so you would think professionals that do it everyday could do it faster....you would be wrong ....was here at 730 they dont open until 8 and still waiting on them to finish....could of been 4 or 5 stars if they better informed customers if how long it might be
Rude, very little communication between managers and employees, which lead to employees promising prices that don’t come close to what you actually end up paying. Couple this with rude and inconsistent customer service.... yeah this is my last time giving money to Tire Barn.
I have 2 say. After having car trouble and having a BAD day... I came to Tire Barne to get a spare put on my car. Emmaul is AWESOME!!!. He made me laugh. Smile. And happy! With his great customer service. Everytime i come to tire barne for now on. I will be looking forward to seeing Emmaul. Thank you so much for your help!😊
The low rate is only due to the fact that I called the night before and I was told I could make appointments..I made an appointment the next day for 1pm for one tire to be changed..I got there at 12:45, and did not leave till after 3pm, I had to be at work at 2:30...they were very busy in there defense but why take appointments if you cant make them a priority, especially since I just needed one tire changed..they were very kind which was nice but I dont think I will be back..

2022-04-08AVOID AT ALL COSTARROGANT, INCOMPETENT, and OVERPRICED. I just had four tires installed at tire barn and all four rims got damaged. I took pictures of the wheels before the installation and after, and all four wheels got damaged. When I told them the issue the first thing they said was it is not our fault. At my request, the manager Bryan submitted a claim for only three wheels but I have not heard anything from the insurance company nor tire barn. I have not received any form of apology yet. And still, they charged me $150 for tire installation. Is this how tire barn treats their customer? Disappointing! So please, if you like your car, avoid AVOID TIRE BARN. If you want your car with the same condition as before it goes in to tire barn, AVOID TIRE BARN. If you would like to have any level of customer service, AVOID TIRE BARN.

2022-02-15These folks are amazing!!! They tested my alloy rims that I thought for sure had cracks (another shop had said as much), and confirmed they were still just fine! Saved me a lot of cash, and then Bryan (the manager) even offered to put on new tires right at the end of the day, even though we offered to drop off our vehicle for service the following day. When I wanted to leave a tip, Bryan refused and asked only that I leave a good review. I said No problem!!!

2022-05-15Let me say I have been coming to Tire Barn ever since they were putting tires on in the freezing cold and hot heat. They have always done an amazing job. Well this time my daughter needed tires and how they assisted her needs let me know they will always be in great standing with me and while we were waiting she discovered your app that allows her to see exactly what rims would look like on her vehicle. She showed me something I didnt even know. I want to send a special thank to the ladies at the front desk. The way they were multi-tasking was great to see. Ladies keep up the great work. Thank you Tire Barn Employees. We appreciate you!!!

2022-01-28Chanelle was very helpful, polite, and knowledgeable. Wait was a little longer than expected, but being able to get a tire mounted same day was what we really needed. And they delivered.

2022-05-08Went on mothers day for a tire check. They couldnt repair tire due to sidewall damage. The lady working the register cost them a tire purchase because of her very, very poor customer service and attitude. I recommend anyone to go down the street to four big tires. Great service and great guys.

2022-07-18We were driving 2 cars from Columbus, OH to Minnesota when we picked up a roofing nail in one of our tires. Tire Barn got us in, patched the tire quickly and sent us on our way. Took less than an hour, which was fantastic because we had pets in the other car and needed to finish the drive the same day. The employees were very kind and friendly. They really saved the day!

2022-02-10Went to their website and picked out 4 tires to be installed on our vehicle. After getting the quote the site indicated that I should make an appointment to have them installed which I did. When we showed up for our appointment they said they had no tires available at that price. No call to let us know in advance, just dont have the tires at the price quoted only more expensive tires! Bait and switch, which I believe is illegal!

2022-07-16Taking back my 5 star review after being a customer for several years. The worst customer service experience ever today while at this location. I was demanded by the front desk customer service personnel to tip a gentleman if he was to check my tire pressure. And if I wasnt going to tip then to do it myself. I stated to her that I didnt have cash although I did because it was rude to demand such a thing when a service is offered. Its not that I dont know how to check my own tire pressure, but being that the encounter was rude... I left. I am all about customer service. This was uncalled for. I just bought a new set of tires from another tire barn location in Terre haute recently and Im hoping I dont have issues so I dont have to return to this one. I would leave a 1 star but the gentleman was nice.

2022-02-16My wife had a flat today with my kids in the car, they needed to get to day care and she needed to get to work. I got the car to Tire Barn and they were very quick with getting my vehicles in and repaired I appreciate Brian and his team for getting us taken care of.
