I love taking my dog here the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and my dog loves going here as well. The office is so clean and modern. They always take me in for my appointment so fast the customer service here is amazing. I would definitely recommend taking your pet here.
I was looking for an close vet for my Rottweiler and found out that Thrive Pet Healthcare was in my neighborhood. I took my dog in today for an wellness care service and everything and everyone was very nice. This is now my knew vet for my Rottweiler and the service prices are very reasonable.
Our cat,who was a patient of Thrive,needed an antibiotic for a reoccurring upper respiratory infection. Since our cat was seen about 2 months ago and had a scheduled appointment for the following weekend there should be no issue. We were very wrong. The rep said take him to a vet emergency since we dont have any open appointments. Nor can we place you in before your appointment next week. Vet emergency is double the fees at a regular vet office. Thrive did not assist my sick cat nor did they give us usable options. We went to a small vet. Not a chain. Our cat received care and is on his way to feeling better. I would never recommend Thrive. Money is their priority. Your pets health and needs are not a priority at Thrive. Stay clear of this business.
This place looks like it can be a nice place, we got the insurance for our French bulldog. We took him twice for take care of a ear bump drain problem. We were so disappointed with his treatment, we pay a couple hundred twice for everything even with insurance (expensive). They didn’t do a right bandage on his ear after draining, 10 mins after we arrive home his ears were out of the bandage we complain and they were upset with us!! Ugh after my dog has this treat me twice the same with not even any improvement now they suggest a Cirgury that it will cost $800. This place care more about the money than the they really care of our pups. I will cancel my membership and definitely look for another place. My first review. So disappointed.

Ever since I 1st got my dog as a little pup I have been visiting this place. The staff is nice and the service is good and efficient. They care about my pet and my pets well being. 2 thumbs up
We saw Dr. E. and had a wonderful experience. My Dutchie is getting up there in age and was nervous on her first visit but she was made to feel very comfortable. I’m glad I found Thrive!
I called and made an appointment for my dog because he needed shots and an exam because he was scratching alot and very restless. However the vet came in checked his heart rate i told her i didn’t know if he had allergies she said it could be but allergy medication can be expensive then she left the secretary came back with the price for his shots and exam she took him to the back for shots then brought him back and checked me out. the vet never came back and never gave me any information on his issues nor did they send me or give me discharge paperwork. i paid for a nose to tail examination that he never received smh i still don’t know why he seems uncomfortable and itching
First visit here. Dog was completely comfortable and happy with the nurses and vet. Simple check in and even easier check out. Great visit.Louie , the dog, was a happy camper.

I recommend this place. As of 6/4/21 all owners still have to wait in the car. Thrive takes appointments. Ive been able to get my pet in, even a new pet, within 1-2 days. Make sure to put in your zip code when looking for prices on their site as prices vary by location. The $10 membership includes $0 exams and 10% off most services including vaccines, meds, dental, labs, and procedures like excision and drainage. This location did not offer the one year rabies for dogs. Im not sure if that is discontinued everywhere. Ive always gotten the one year rabies for my dogs, and this is my first time bringing my dog to this vet.
Very friendly, professional and affordable. Enjoyed the staff that Ive personally met and have spoken with over the phone. They are also extremely thorough with your pets care. Well kept and pristine environment.
Everyone we encountered at Thrive Pet Healthcare was beyond professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They treated my pup with such love and care....she had all her vaccinations, blood drawn, nail trim AND a microchip put in and she still came back to me with her tail wagging! Great prices and even greater people. Booking our appointment was super easy and I was even able to get my baby in the very next day! I highly recommend making the switch to Thrive! They are really nice people and so is the facility. However, it is NOT affordable. I got my kitten spayed and the first visit was shots and blood work and that’s fine came out to about $250 or so…. Then a couple days later was the surgery for spay and microchip… our bill for that day was about $339 dollars…. That’s over 500 dollars for a spay and shots :/ That’s insane to me. Shouldn’t be advertising affordable pet care. At least not for spay and neuter.
What a wonderful and efficient Vet Vist!… the care that was given to my puppy hindrexx was Amazing. Dr. Megan did an amazing job explaining everything without rushing through the process making sure we understood everything. Even giving an option to get liquid medication for my pup and going through the pricing and making sure we were comfortable. With great Pricing!🐾 I’m so happy I went through all the reviews and made the best decisions 🤍 thank you Dr. Megan and the wonderful staff at Thrive 🐶
Went here for a visit to schedule a spay for our kitten. The vet was very nice, place is clean and well lit. I believe we are making the right choice in trusting them with our fur baby. The rest of the staff was also very nice and the beat part yet....we could go in with our kitten for the exam!!
Everyone at Thrive that I worked with was fabulous. My Mastiff Roxy was very sick and they were so sweet to her. Very honest with Roxy from the get go. You can tell they really care about the animals. They help us find a affordable place to get a ultrasound sound done. Unfortunately our baby had to be put down but Thrive employees made everything a very loving and smooth transition. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a affordable vet. I just wish I knew about them sooner.
Frequently come here with my two cats, Cinnamon and Maple!I originally came from VCA and couldn’t be happier with the switch. Their Thrive+ membership will save you hundreds. I use to pay around $70 just for an exam fee so I had to find another vet that was more reasonable and affordable. With the membership you essentially pay $10 a month and it waives the exam fee and you also get 10% off your service. Since one of my cats had unexplained diarrhea, I had to take many trips here.. if I were to go somewhere else, it would’ve been $60+ each visit on top of medicine.In addition, the staff is super friendly and always welcoming and ready to help. Each room is super clean and comfortable to be in. When I need help, I would usually text them and get a lot of information such as pricing, procedures, updates, etc.The only downside that it is difficult to get an appointment, usually 1.5-2 weeks. However, it’s to be expected with such great service and affordability.Overall, great place!
Everyone at Thrive was so nice! I took my new kitty for his first check up and he did great. They answered all my question, were so sweet with my cat, and reasonably priced! The office is also clean & modern!
They were Great.Im a first time dog owner .They text with information needed before visit to make thing very easy. Clean, friendly. They make sure your pet is not frightened by other pets, making things less stressful.
Best veterinary experience We have ever had!!! My dog left the visit so happy despite the shots and nail trim. Dr. Eldrenkamp was so nice and incredibly informative as well as the technician. I had a question a few days later; sent an email and immediately got a response. The prices were incredibly affordable and the service was amazing. I would recommend Thrive to anyone looking for a new vet. I am so glad my pup can get amazing healthcare at such an affordable price.
I have 2 of my 4 fur babies in to be seen for routine and sick office visits. I have been pleased with the treatment and care of my fur babies, but I have, also, been very satisfied with the customer service provided. The vets talk to me like I really dont understand by explaining in detail every option and case scenario. They educate me and give me confidence in what I am doing is right for my furry member. They are straight forward and considerate. The entire staff is not only friendly, but also warm and caring.I recommend Thrive for all pet care needs.
Vet recommended care based on my dogs weight. She recommended we wait for certain shots. They were not interested in just giving our dog as many shots as they could just to make money. They really showed genuine care. This was the highlight besides the great service we received. Very happy with this vet. Highly recommended!
Updated: August 1st, 2022I will never book another appointment at thrive. My cat GI tract has been completely messed up after her dental cleaning. I have called and left messages several times for the last month and today I was able to talk to someone. She was nice and professional but she couldn’t help me. I have come to the conclusion that the majority of veterinarians are uneducated and have no idea what they are doing. The biggest mistake I made was trusting my cat to be taken care of. What I was told was a simple procedure has turned into a medicinal nightmare. I hope others have better experiences than I did.Updated: May 5th 2022. Ghost has her first teeth cleaning under my care. Dr. Megan and staff are extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. Little guy got UTD today, and will have surgery in two weeks. Prices are lower than average for the area. Definitely a lot of care given towards the animals. Thanks again everyone.
The vets and staff here are phenomenal: super friendly and professional. Scheduling is easy and prices for services are transparent. I drive 25 minutes to get here past other vets because I have such faith in their practice. Anyone whom I have recommended THRIVE to have been WOWED by their service, too.
Brought my cat in because of lethargy, weight loss, loss of appetite. After the Vet had examined him and after a quick x-ray, they told me he was a healthy cat and had a bit of gas build up. When in reality he had fluid build up in his stomach, severely dehydrated and was malnourished. It turns out after getting tests done on him at an emergency animal clinic he ended having FIP (Feline infectious Peritonitis). It had gotten so bad to the point where he couldn’t walk or stand for more than 2 seconds. I ended up paying near $300 at thrive to have them come up with a conclusion that he was healthy and only had some gas build up when in reality he was dying and had to be put to sleep because of how bad the FIP had gotten and how much he was suffering. Even the emergency vet said that his copper eye color was a sign of FIP and severely jaundice how did no one at Thrive not notice this.
We brought our 15 year old kitties in for a once over and vaccines. The techs and the Dr. were awesome. Prompt with our appointment and very reasonable. Well be back for whatever else our cats need and would definitely recommend Thrive in Oak lawn!
I brought my dog Luna here and the visit was smooth. Check-in was quick, the vet was nice. I was in and out quickly. I highly recommend this vet.
Staff was friendly BUT I asked THREE times if the exam was included in the complete care plan. They all said it was. So then they bring me the itemized bill for todays visit. Theres a separate 50 dollar exam fee (for her the doc to spend 3 mins in the room only looked at ears, mouth and listened to heart/lungs so not sure that it was even worth 50 dollars) And when I told them I asked them MULTIPLE times and got the same answer -that the exam was included- they told me that I misunderstood them. But I 100% asked about the exam being included MULTIPLE times specifically so I could know exactly how much Id be spending beforehand. Will not be back👎
Great experience here. Had a slight eye emergency with my husky Hera and we were lucky enough to score an appointment that same morning. After one exam, we knew what was wrong and a few days later she’s already almost healed! Very convenient, thorough, and the prices are reasonable. I hope to not have to come back often, but wouldn’t hesitate to bring any of my dogs here.
It was our first time to visit Thrive pet care and everybody treated us and our dog exceptionally well. Thrive will be our forever vet for our fur babies.
Every one is great and gave excellent care of my fur baby. I wish it was easier to get in faster for sick visits.
They don’t have appointment in the same week , if you get lucky the waiting in the room is more 30 minutes and if you running late they will not take you in, they don’t follow up on your pet, very ugly attitude from employees, don’t not sing up for the membership I been paying it for a year I was able to used it twice and theirs no phone number to cancel membership you have to wait 10 days for email response.
Thrive Affordable Vet Care was the best vet experience my family and I have ever had!They were extremely patient with my little Nova and his many different findings that were discovered during his exam. We are so very blessed to have found such a kind loving place to care for our Nova!They truly love what they do😊Thank you THRIVE!You all are the BEST!!!
Ive only been twice but I would recommend this clinic to any pet owner. They took great care of my baby Oliver and they didnt mind me calling in to check on him for his procedure. They are very informative and have great communication if I could give 20 stars I would.
I was really impressed. My dog is very big and kind of skittish until he gets to know you. Hey right away were hands on with him ,and he was fine. They explain everything theyre thinking or what they want to do. Im definitely going to go to Thrive from now on

Well so far they are awesome and I havent even brought my fur baby Cody for his initial appointment yet! They have a free first time visit for your furry friends, plus they have a membership you can join and its such an affordable price range here too! Its just a great place to bring your pets to and ask for the benefits they might have when you get there. Definitely recommend you come here.
I took my baby Wynnee here the other day & I felt so welcomed as soon as I walked through the door. Every staff member was so awesome and it made me feel good that I know she would be taken care of. The Vet was phenomenal and answered all my questions. I highly suggest taking your babies here. You definitely will not be disappointed. ❤
The Vets, Vet Techs and Receptionists are all very caring and very nice. I brought my two cats there for shots. My one cat was spayed and the other cat was sick and wasnt eating. They are both doing well.Reasonable prices with the pet insurance. Pay $10.00 a month for each animal. I definitely recommend Thrive!
Took my 3 month old puppy in today for her booster shots and a general check up. Everyone was kind, professional and helpful. They treated my baby like she was their own and answered all the questions I had. They even threw in a complimentary nail clipping! Definitely will be going back for all my Rubys needs.
The staff was fantastic and this is our first visit. I have been to many places prior to visiting Thrive. This hospital was clean and did not smell of other dogs. The doctor was very through in explaining the diagnosis of my Rizzo. I was very impressed with the speed and treatment for my little man. This will be my home for my fur baby.
I gave Thrive a try on the recommendation from a friend. Ive been twice for 2 pets now and I have no regrets about leaving my prior vet clinic. Great care, great service and very affordable. I Will bring all my fur babies here for great care from now on.
Amazing clinic that not will not only quickly tell you everything up with your pet, but theyll be realistic about it in terms of what procedures are actually necessary. Its so refreshing to hear a vet say, eh you can wait on this since its not causing pain or interfering in any way. If you go to Thrive you dont have to worry about being pressured into getting unnecessary and expensive treatments. Theyll tell you in black and white what could be done and the best way to save money.
Thrive was such a cute modern place upon walking in. Immediately I was greeted with smiles and respect. Immediately I was seen, no waiting and was asked if I was comfortable going in a room or doing curbside because of covid . Since I’m vaccinated I was okay with going in a room. The room was immaculate, clean and comfortable. The Vet took her time explaining all the medications and I never felt rushed. I love the $50 nose to tail check up price and the medications were reasonable prices. I will definitely be back for my pets annual vaccines and any other issues he may have.
I took my dog there for the first time today. I was very pleased. Very easy to schedule an appointment online. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. The vet talked me through everything and was in no way pushy. The prices were more affordable than my previous vet too!

So far so good. The customer service was very pleasant. I have been well informed about my pets needs and procedures. I feel like they take the time to accommodate to my dogs needs without feeling rushed. I’m hoping my estimate is a little on the economical side but other then that I feel like My dog is safer here than where I was prior.
Went here after a referral. My cat was sick,moaning groaning Dr. Megan Frizzell and her associate were so comforting to my cat and to me.Spot my cat,stricken with the big C. Needless to say I was in tears..... I had to put her to sleep, held her until the end. Great place. Clean fresh no odors, plus i got an appointment within a few days. Thanks to all.
When my cat Mimi had a problem that needed to be checked, I called and they were super reliable and answered all my questions and concerns. It was my first time here so I was a little nervous. They were patient with me since we all love our animals like they are our children. My cat can be a little shy with new people but when she went to get checked up I was comfortable when speaking to her doctor on the phone. With COVID-19 happening we are not able to go inside with them but they were super professional and she explained everything I needed to know and I was especially worried of not being able to be inside with Mimi since she holds back with strangers but they made 100% sure not to stress her out and gave her space and made sure she was comfortable.When my husband took my kitten of 2 months yesterday, he loved the staff and how clean the place was. They gave him information about vaccines and explained throughly with any question he had. I love this place and I feel happy knowing my cats are safe and well taken care of when I bring them here. The prices are also very amazing. Thanks for taking care of my babies Lulu and Mimi. I will definitely be coming here from now on.

I found this clinic on Google and glad I did. I took my 4 yr old female pitbull to a consultation for spaying and shots. The visit was beautiful and the staff 😍. With this being a first time client, I was very pleased with the service, cleanliness, and the friendly and professional staff. Looking forward to see you guys for my fur baby needs. The staff was very friendly yet professional. I appreciated their Covid setup. Due to it I could only see the Lobby but everything looked very clean and modern. I could tell my puppy had a good experience and they are VERY reasonably priced. I really liked their membership program. This was our first visit but we’ll definitely be back.

Appointments are easy to make quickly - the staff is very friendly and the DVM was also easy to talk to and very informative. I would recommend this facility. Oh and may I say they did the BEST nail trim on our pups paws. They cut them as short as possible and we are all very happy.
It was my first visit and I received a discount. The check-in was effortless and safety precautions were taken to reduce flow of people. The receptionist was so friendly and helpful. The doctor was nice and explained all my options- I felt at ease with what had to be done for my dog. I signed up for their member program since it’s convenient and affordable.

I was afraid BonBon (Puppys name 😅) was going to be scared but he did perfectly fine. He was a bit shy but he did great and everyone was so sweet. This was my first visit to Thrive in Oaklawn - and I was definitely impressed! I sought care for my puppy Cocker Spaniel and the services I received was phenomenal! My appointment, I was immediately checked in and seen right away. All the staff was friendly and courteous, prepared me for what to expect with the current social distancing guidelines in place. The doctor immediately called me after she completed her exam with my puppy - to discuss her assessment and answer any questions that I may have. I was able to discuss all my concerns with the doctor without feeling rushed. All the staff was awesome, great customer service is what you receive at this location! I was looking for a home for my puppy for ongoing medical attention, and Im sure Ive found it with Thrive in Oaklawn! I truly appreciated the professional and attentive care given. I love, love love the fact that I was in and out in no time! I look forward to visiting and having follow-up care here for my fur baby!
I took my 9 weeks old puppy for the sick visit. I got appointment the very next day! Covid procedure was very organized and there was no wait time! Everyone was very nice and professional. I received all the information regards to treatment and fees. I feel that I finally found a place so can trust. Definitely recommend!
We moved from Colorado 4 months ago and I really wanted to find a Thrive Veterinary Clinic near me. The service is amazing. I had an amazing experience in Colorado and in here as well. Since we still have the COVID situation around, they take all the precautions. I am very please with the service.I know my dog is in good hands, and I am very happy I got thrive insurance. Honestly, price is awesome for the high quality service they provide.
I am always hesitant taking my dog to see a vet. My dog is 10 years old and a very very hyper Pomeranian mix with separation issues from me. She had stopped using one of her back legs and I was concerned. My regular vet could not fit me in so I contacted Thrive and was able to be seen right away. They were so sweet with her and didnt make her hyper nature a big thing and just did their job. They were so organized with Covid restrictions. I was seriously so impressed. I was able to get her RX right there and we were done in less than a half hour. When the Dr. called me I could hear my dog crying in the back (shes was fine, but cries in new places without me there), and the Dr just did her thing and was able to laugh as to how hyper she is. I received texts after my appointment asking how she was doing and they just responded like a normal text. Wasnt generated by a computer and were quick to follow up and even we able to fit me in a week later for a follow up. Im very happy with the unfortunate situation that brought me to find this amazing Vet Care. I have already told my friends and family how wonderful they are.
I highly recommend taking your fur babies to Thrive! They are amazing people, super attentive to you and your pet and they take such good care of the animals. They treat every single pet as if it were their own with lots of love and care. They followed all the CDC guidelines and made sure both the people and the pets were healthy and safe. We plan on bringing our little Dinah back to Thrive from now on 😊 thank you so much!
We have added a puppy to our fur baby family. I was extremely happy with the appointment process and the checking process. Mandy was awesome and super friendly explained the process and Dr. Eldrencamp was thorough and listened when she called me and discussed the visit and any questions or concerns I had. I really enjoyed my visit here. It was simple and quick to check in. I was attended to immediately and my visit was fast. The staff is very professional and they really care. This is my new spot for my dog and cat. Highly recommend to everyone.

Thrive is the way to go!Very efficient-streamlined check-in, you park, call in, no wait.Covid cautious-no other animals in check-in area, very clean and efficient. Only one customer allowed in check-in area at a time.The customer service was 5-star-from friendliness, to explaining the procedures, answering any questions and the subscription program they offer.My 91 year old Dad( while we were waiting in the car) had to use the facilities and I called in to see if we could come in and it was not an issue whatsoever.The doctor greeted me in the hallway while my Dad used the facilities and explained everything about my dog and we were good to go!Thank you Thrive for making life easy!
The people at Thrive Oak Lawn are caring, compassionate. . . and passionate about giving first rate care to me and my dog. Ive never had to wait to be scheduled, usually within a day or two. The doctors are very helpful, taking time to explain everything. The techs are wonderful, especially Angie.If youre in the area and looking for vet care, Thrive Oak Lawn is the best choice.

My puppy Skye had her 1st exam here. At 1st I was nervous because I couldnt be with her due to covid. After talking with the staff I felt better. All my questions were answered & everyone was very polite. I look up the reviews on a few Vets & the great reviews is why I chose Thrive. The horror stories I read on other sites made me cringe. Im very pleased with their services! The fact that it didnt hurt my pockets is a plus!

They were so friendly to me and more importantly to my dog. They follow great protocols for COVID-19 but still make it a great experience. My dog seemed way more relaxed after the exam than usual even though I couldn’t be with her for it. The vet called me and answered all my questions. I think I have found my new vet!
This place was amazing! My husband and I have been looking for a good place to take our furry babies ( 3 year old English Bully and 10week old Siberian Husky). The staff was very kind, professional, and knowledgeable. They are also very transparent with pricing. There is no “catch” just quality service. I recommend this place to my entire family already. I would rate it more stars if I could.
Came to Thrive for the first time last week to get my dogs ear checked/cleaned for a possible ear infection. Our primary vet is VCA in Palos but they couldn’t get us an appointment until three weeks out. Saw that this office had good reviews and was able to get us in sooner. Appointment was quick no more then 30 minutes. Due to covid I chose to sit out in my car while the vet checks on my dog. Everything went well except for when I saw that they didnt clean my dogs ear. He still had debris and dirt inside his ears when we got home thats the only reason why this place gets 4 stars
Excellent care, very affordable 👌If I could give them 10 stars I would. They constantly keep checking how our kitten is doing and making another appointment is super easy. I love how they care about their patients. Honestly even better and more efficient then human doctors.
Excellent service and very reasonable prices. Explained everything thoroughly and layed out options. Never pressured me at all, but were very understanding and helpful. They only have 2 clients at a time in facility so it is nice and quiet, which was good for my dog, who was already anxious. Highly recommend!

Wow. Thats all I gotta say. Today I took my mothers German Shepherd into Thrive because she was sick and needed a vaccination. The front desk person (I forgot her name, but she was absolutely wonderful) was extremely kind, patient, and helpful. The doctor (Dr. Eldrenkamp) was thorough, explained things well, and clearly understood breed differences in dogs.The Thrive team also has a very efficient and organized way of handling appointments in the time of Covid. I felt very safe, but they never left me in the dark.This is a really, really great place. We will be back.
Good care for my puppy . Excellent service. But do not accept any walk in . That is one of the downfalls of the clinic hopefully they could start accepting walk in when our doggies are sick.
I no longer dread going to the vet thanks to Thrive!! There’s no long wait time, they’re very accommodating and their lower cost is extremely helpful when you have several pets!! Even setting the appointment online is so easy... my dog had an ear infection, but the next appt available was for Monday, I called on a Friday to be waitlisted & within an hour I was called back to let me know if I can bring my dog in by the afternoon! They’re also very informative so you’re not surprised with the bill, I’m so glad to have Thrive as my pets vet!!

This place is awesome. So sweet and kind to both my puppy and us humans. The Thrive Plus membership is a great promotion and I signed right up. I did not feel like they were pushing services on me and Im so excited there is an affordable veterinarian right in the neighborhood.
I was very please with the kindness and professionalism of the facility. The workers were very nice and explain everything to me about my cat twin. The whole team were just amazing. The time was perfect too as well and pricing. My family in I had been going to the WFL and has had some really horrible experiences there. This new place brought tears to my eyes. I thought finally I dont have to deal wirh getting to the vet at 6:45a.m to be seen at 3p.m. after they have taken other peoples pet that came in after me before me foe some crazy unacceptable reason. Thank you guys so much for the peace of mine and great care you gave our cat Twin. We will be back again!
Ive been taking my pets for over 10 years to Pulaski Animal Hospial (PAH). Yet, when one of my dogs was in need of medical attention, PAH did not nor they tried to make the time or availability to see him. That spoke volumes of the veterenian Ive entrusted my dogs care for over 10 years.Ive called THRIVE and I received an appointment the same week. The staff was amiable, courteous, professional, and responsive to my pets needs even when I had to change the appointment date. Importantly, the price is reasonable and **inexpensive in comparison to other vet services including PAH.Morale of this story: TRY a new place if you believe your veterinarian is not accommodating your pets needs nor yours. DONT stay like I did for 10 years accepting mediocre service and paying high prices only to find out, they cannot accommodate you in an emergency. Give YOUR pets a better chance by taking them where they are appreciated, not just tolerated, and they only see you as a money sign.
My dog developed a hematoma on his ear that needed drained. The staff here were great and were good about communicating everything from beginning to end, got us in for the procedure quickly and took great care of my dog.I was really concerned about having to sedate him for sadety reasons due to his age and breed but I dont think I will need to worry as much in the future.Crush and siblings will definitely be back when needed 😊
I really really like it here. It was my babies first time and they did very well. Every question I had was answered, and they provide awesome discounts. I have 2 cats and getting their vaccines didnt break the bank, under $100!! Would highly recommend!
I took Abby, my 10 year old beagle/terrier mix, in for a scratched cornea (kittens play rough, yall) and the folks at Thrive were wonderful. Thorough and quick and very upfront with costs (which were quite reasonable). Abby got her shots while she was there, too, and everything took about forty minutes from drop-off to pick-up. I will definitely be returning.

We just moved to Chicago recently and I had to find a vet for my little guy Teddy . Everyone at thrive in oak lawn was AMAZING!!!!!!! Even before the appointment they texted me to remind me but also wanted to double check I knew the location because they noticed I put my NY address down ! They answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns I had . Thank you SO much ! Teddy and I will definitely be back !
Dr. Eldrenkamp is patient, friendly, kind, understanding and answered all of my many questions! The vet techs I met are very friendly and helpful as well. Thank you guys! No contact pick up and care, was able to get meds for my pup as well. Exam cost is 35$ and you can get appointments. Recommend this clinic.
The doctors and techs are very professional, very friendly, and answered all my concerns. The wait time wasn’t too bad, my visit was about 35- 40 minutes long. I love how they have curbside if you don’t want to wait inside. I love it here!!

I called to see how much a spay and declaw was for my cat. The man said a consultation needs to be done first for $35 before they can give me prices. I said its typically a set fee can you please ask for me. He came back and said a spay is anywhere from $250 to $500!! I verified thats just the spay. Cant even get a honest set price from them. Seems sketchy. I didnt even get to the declaw price. But this place does not seem affordable at all. RUN!
Poor excuse for a veterinarian since it’s nearly impossible to get in. My ex brought my dog here while he was SEIZING continuously, nonstop. They would not accept him and claimed they didn’t have availability the next day either. To look at him and his symptoms could have possibly taken 10-15 minutes? I don’t want to think it was racially motivated but it is Oak Lawn so who knows. I’m praying that my dog ends up being okay but this place is terrible and lacks sympathy.
This place is not affordable and before you know it they will run your bill up and make you think everything is included. This is a scam. Petco is cheaper. They also bill you for every visit in addition to misleading you about booster shots

The phone staff was reluctant to answer any questions. We work with a veteran rescue and called about pricing and were told they dont work with rescues and wont take emergency calls.

2022-08-18I brought my kitten here to get him checked after a visit at PetCo. And I will say that this place is untouchable compared to other vets I checked out. The cleanliness is top notch, the personal experience you get is phenomenal. They really make you feel at home and take great care of your needs! If you do choose to bring your own pet here, sign up for their membership! Its worth it! You get great deals, discounts, and people on your team who will care for your pet as if it were their own!Im very happy with this place and will recommend it to anyone who is a new pet parent and looking for affordable pet care!

2022-02-19I would give 10 stars if I could! Our dog has been traumatized by past experiences at different vets and they were so accommodating and pleasant. They did everything to make our dog comfortable, and came up with a plan to get him treated that day; unlike most places who would tell us to come back after prescribing expensive medicine to sedate/relax him. This is the only vet we will go to now. The price was great and they didn’t try to upsell us unnecessary items. If you have a nervous pet definitely take them there, they were amazing!

2022-06-01First time ever coming to thrive after a few recommendations and it was a great experience. VERY clean, the rooms were bigger which made my pup more comfortable. They also were very accommodating when working with my pup who is a bit shy. Took their time and got comfortable with my pup before doing any treatments. Before I left another customer walked in stating she was there for her appointment and the tech told her he will call her in when the lobby was clear, which in my opinion is so important for everyone safety. Overall a wonderful experience

2022-08-23Everyone was very sweet here and they were able to get us in pretty quickly for an appointment for our two pets. The vet seemed very knowledgeable with my greyhound which I was a little worried about since they have weird needs when it comes to vet care. The prices are also very good and way less than we were expecting to pay /had paid in the past. We will definitely be back in the future!

2022-04-01This was my first visit to the clinic today and we were treated so exceptionally well by all the staff. They took great care of my dog. I want this to be my forever vet clinic.I am back today with my new fur baby because my other one passed away. My new fur baby is a big guy (132 lbs The staff is wonderful. They are still a 5 star operation. My boy was surprisingly fantastic because they knew exactly how to handle him nail clipping and all. I strive a nice distance now to come to this particular location. This crew is totally worth it!

2022-06-02A breath of fresh air! My first experience with Thrive was great. My lab, Brandy, was well taken care of with an initial exam and some vaccinations. Scheduling the appointment via web and notifications was easy and seamless. All people and the Vet Megan were friendly and professional. High recommendation!

2022-04-09Hands down the best experience both me, and my kitten have ever had at a vet. The staff was very welcoming and informative. Gave multiple options to support my personal decisions for my kitten, and with extremely reasonable pricing. Will never go back to a petco or anything ever again. Such a personable facility, would highly recommend.

2022-04-12I recently adopted a new kitty and took my kitty ( Hades ) for his first-time vaccination here! The receptionist lady and the vet was really great and professional! Hades felt at ease in the clinic! Would definitely recommend everyone to go to this place for their fur baby treatments and check ups!

2022-07-04I took my cat here for an abscess. The Vet for was very informative and she offered several options for care. They also discussed the cost of each option before doing anything. Prices are reasonable and the care is great.
