Excellent store! I was having trouble returning 3 items to Amazon, due to not having a printer at home.the first item was accepted by their Amazon system connection and Matt, the agent at UPS printed it for me. The next item took an amazon agent to verbally give Matt a code, which worked and the final item even an Amazon supervisor couldnt give Matt a code to make it happen. I ended up going home to my computer (email isnt set up on cell) and allowing him to copy the paint image of the shipping label onto his zip drive, which he then transferred to the system successfully. Matt went way above what I expect from customer service and I am grateful.
This team is the best!! Super attention to detail, very efficient, very polite, everyone is always so helpful. I have had a Box for mail delivery for years, and its perfect for me!! Safe, secure, confidential, consistent receipt of all of my mail and packages. Never have to worry about a thing!! Highly recommended. Thanks!!
We sent out a package that went overnight first am delivery which did not make its delivery. We have been trying to get our refund which corporate states they have received the money for it from this store for over 3 weeks now. They are still refusing to refund us even when we bring in all of our receipts. Corporate will not assist with this issue. Trying to work with the franchises direct customer relations people as well. **update after UPS store response. It took speaking with the corporate customer care more than 10 times after missed delivery about status, calling the customer relations number twice that specifically handles this store and going in and/or speaking and calling the store more than four times. Being told by the store they did not have the check, though their post states they received it on the 13th and assistant manager Frank swore they still had not received it on the 16th. Only after this review was posted was there a resolution, finally getting paid for the missed delivery. And to clarify, they did not pay more than they should have. They paid the exact amount for the delivery costs plus the amount of the money order that was lost. Not only that but when called that the check was finally in, received call from an assistant manager who gave us grievance when calling and picking up the check about our review. We understand they are a franchise of UPS, but they do carry the name and should have apologized for the lost package. We understand they were not the delivering terminal but they are part of UPS and therefore should have better customer service even through these issues. **
I use UPS exclusively to pack and ship valuable musical instruments to destinations all over the US. I always receive positive comments from clients regarding prompt delivery and professional packaging and have never received any shipping damage complaints.Matt and his Team are helpful, professional and very competent. I highly recommend Matt and his store for all of your shipping needs. He is a pleasure to work with and will get your shipping needs done along with all the other services UPS provides.
I have used these guys for many years now. My items, from large oil paintings to glass decor have always arrived without any issues. They are very professional and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommended them for all packaging and shipping tasks. 100% reliable every time
This is a great place to ship packages and the manager Matt is a great guy. They are always helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Id recommend this location to anyone looking to send something UPS or have it packaged to ship. They also shred documents and can create customized banners.
While the store is small the service is outstanding. Always helpful with questions and the friendly staff, especially Matt, just get the job done. I have never had an issue with this UPS store or UPS itself. I have tried other services but always come back to this facility. You stick with a winner!
There are two employees I will remember forever. One is a lady probably around 28 with a round face that is the brightest bulb in the box. Her smile lightens the whole room and is a pleasure to talk with. Another is a man probably around 25 that has the same type of attitude towards his work at UPS.Im sure there job is not super exciting, but when I drop off packages its great seeing smiles on the workers faces compared to when I got to USPS and everyone is grumpy.
Everyone there is very helpful. They have helped me in many different ways. I had to do some business while I was out of state and stopped in another UPS store and they were nowhere near as helpful or wanting g to help me without being annoyed and wanting to charge me an unreasonable amount of money. So appreciate my local Elgin UPS store.

2022-06-23Omg 2 times in 6months Are well checked items have been broken and the under $50 claims not paid for because No time where we informed that we needed to use thier boxes for a claim this is ridiculous and we ship alot but not this store anymore 😤

2021-11-12Extremely disappointed in this store. Bought 2 windows at a local auction house, that uses this UPS store for shipping. They couldnt ship together , so had to pay double shipping and packaging. Received a notice after 3 weeks that one of the packages was damaged and returned to store. Received the other package a few days later. The window was completely smashed. There were no fragile stickers or anything to identify it as glass. There was a single sheet of bubble wrap around the window in the box. Notified the store that they were damaged and they applied for insurance claim. It took 2 MONTHS to hear back from them. The window I received did not have the insurance approved and the store said there was nothing they could do. Terrible business operations. Poor packing (and very expensive). No communication to customer for damaged caused by this stores employees. Asked for owner to call me - nothing.If you are purchasing items at the local auction house, go somewhere else to get it shipped. Demand that the auction house provide other options because this store doesnt care about your purchase - only overcharging customers for poor service.UPDATE ***. The owners response completely misses the point. The window was poorly packed by their employee and had no labels that the item was fragile or contained glass. The UPS store was responsible for the damage due to neglect. The offer to “reach out” is disingenuous. Anyone purchasing an auction item from a nearby business should look elsewhere for packing and shipping to protect your investment.

Very appreciated!Update 2022: The staff is just outstanding! Always so friendly, and very efficient at what they do! 2022-04-04Hi tristan, this ups really closed by my home and i used to print all paperwork in this ups. and they never charge me $2 for one paper black and white. are you kidding me? today it’s the first time i saw you and you charged me crazy. god bless tristan.

2021-12-11I went to store last week to drop-off package for delivery. Understandably store was very busy. Person behind register advised anyone just dropping-off to leave item on counter which I did. 7 days later still no tracking or delivery schedule. Returned to store, could not help. Told to call 1-800 number to file a claim. Automated system wouldnt file claim, said file at website. Attempted to file online, wouldnt allow said to call 1-800 number. Called store to explain, person acknowledged problem, suggested to keep pressing 0 to speak to a human. I followed her advice and after 30 minutes system hung-up. DONT USE UPS. I now have to refund my buyer and they will likely recieve a free item if it ever shows up. You trust your item to a company whose only job is to get it there and when they fail there is no recourse. You are rolling the dice with your package.

2020-09-14Stephanie and her staff provided amazing service. The staff will never know the time, frustration, and cost saved by their professionalism and empathy. I was in the midst of an international move and exporting our four legged family member. An unknown requirement needed expeditiously sent documents to be signed by a US government to transport our dog.We were required to provide the US government office a “return” label. However, the “TO” and “FROM” label needed to reflect only my name and address. The government office had erroneously been charged to their shipping account and to avoid such errors would reject submissions if their address was reflected on the the return label.This requirement did not fit the software capability of the UPS system. Undeterred, Stephanie was able to override the system and provide us with a TO/FROM address label and get our documents expeditiously shipped back to us. All the while charging us the appropriate amount to ensure we received our documents back without issues.Again, if it was not for Stephanie’s Diligence and professionalism we may have been unable to transport our family dog. Thank you to your wonderful staff for their professionalism, patience and diligence to exemplary customer service.

2021-02-04I sent a $340 item packed very well with ups. They totally destroyed it. Appeared a driver/employee stepped on the package. They had me go thru a lengthy insurance claim. Eventually after 2 weeks they refused to pay out and blamed me for improper packing. It was in a box 10 times the items size. With multiple layers of cardboard and bubble wrap.Never again will i ever use ups! AND KNOW THIS THEIR INSURANCE IS A SCAM AND MEANS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. THEY WILL NOT MAKE GOOD ON IT.

2021-12-01Completed an online printing order (3 pages) First employee didnt know what an order number was. Second employee went to print it out for over 20 minutes. Came back to say there is no file uploaded and asked if I did. I couldnt have paid without uploading something to print. Whats the point of the online process if no one can figure it out.

2018-12-01It would be easy to say a place is good but I need to express just how good this place is. Not only are the service and prices really good, but the personal connection is no less than excellent. As a business owner I have said on multiple occasions that the crew at this specific UPS are the exact kind of employees I would be honored to have in my own line of work. The time and consideration consideration and patience they give to not only myself but every customer I see who walks in there, is just amazing. There is a good reason why I dont go to any other UPS store. This one is the best .hands down .

2019-02-05I cant say enough about this UPS store. It stands head and shoulders above every other UPS store Ive been to. I am greeted by name when I walk in, and their attention to each customer is fantastic. One thing I like to see is that each customer gets their undivided attention. They are concerned with the needs of that particular customer, and it makes them feel as though they are the only ones in the store. Ive witnessed difficult, impatient customers treated with kindness, and patience. When that customer walked out of the door, the store employees made no reference of them to the rest of us. No eye rolling, no venting, just moving on to our needs. I am a proud box holder here. Keep up the good work!!
