Beautifully designed interior and exterior, well layed out with private seating choices. The food is top notch and the prices are very affordable, plus you get a free ice cream cone. I had the baby back ribs, they were delicious!
The place was pretty busy,and they still managed to serve a group of sixteen without any disruption of service to our group or anyone else that was there. The food was good everyone enjoyed their selections.
I had the 1/4 chicken with garlic mash, very good. Food was very fresh and nice portion size. Will order again.
The ribs are dry and smaller in size than what they used to serve. I ordered baked potato but I got fries instead. This is not the same PATIO.
Terrible customer service ordered a salad paid $11 for a salad with no chicken! When on the menu it states on the menu it comes with chicken. Spoke with the manager she says she understands what the menu says but its nothing they can do instead of offering to remake it or something! I been going to the patio for yearssss but never again.
Unfortunately the food was just ok. The burger has no flavor, the ribs were burnt, mashed and baked potato were ok . Im glad I went but I dont think Ill be back.
I want to say thank this great staff. On Tuesday, January 25th I had a great early dinner with my sisters. The food was wonderful and we had a great time. Then I went to my van and found someone had parked way to close to me. I tried to climb in from my driver side back door. No go. Then I tried to climb through the passenger side front door. I have a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan and Im definitely over weight. Finally after asking patrons a man offered to help. He was able to get in and back me out!!
I jumped in for a quick bite to eat and got myself a half a slab of ribs and beef breakfast combo with a baked potato and sour cream and chives. They offered drive-thru Service as well the staff was very helpful and the establishment was clean and well-organized

I ordered a cheeseburger burger through drive through today, and it was very raw in the middle. I used to love this place and would always celebrate my grandfathers birthday there. Now I’m second guessing it’s quality, not sure if I’d come back after this.
Was there for a family repass; the manager was very accommodating to reserve a section to seat 50 people. As always the food was delicious and they servers had great table side manners. Would recommend again!!!
Food is always consistently good at Patio no matter what you order. Outdoor seating area is clean and nicely landscaped. I highly recommend Patio!

The ribs were just okay they were not meaty at all they were also a little hard I thought ribs was supposed to come off the bone weve tasted better a little disappointed havent been there since they moved from east side of Harlem to the westside of Harlem. Sure not missing anything.

My experience at The Patio is always great! It’s been my number one place for ribs since the early 1990s when they were across the street! Always succulent and deliciously prepared; Staff courteous and attentive… And the prices are reasonable! While there this evening, I posted to Instagram, Facebook and Twitter and got hundreds of likes at least 100 inquiries where were you? I told them all too! Thanks Patio for being so consistent through the years! Five Stars!

I had a pulled pork sandwich which was very tasty and the fries were fresh out of the grease.
My mom took my sisters and I to Patio when I was a kid and I have never forget about them since. Great place to dine with the girl friend or family and friends. One of the Very Few Bbq joints I like in chicago. Now I take my kids here and We Love The Patio. Now u know its good when you have 3 different generations of a family dinning here.
Some of the best BBQ on this side of town.I got the dry rubber ribs, highly recommend.
You’re better off going to Portillos, cold mac n cheese, they show pictures of waffle fries but they’re actually sweet potato fries, then charged me for a loaded mac n cheese when all I wanted were the crumbs. Not worth $8 for a weak bbq cheese burger. Chicken rice soup was good, most likely processed out of a can. Manager eating at the bar with a whole spread of food, Italian family style. The kicker, they ran out of Blue Moon too! Really... On a Saturday! Not a good experience.
Love this place. Great staple for the neighborhood. Is also the original location, around over 40 years! Only location that gives out free icecream cones after your meal. My husband got the ribeye sandwhich which was perfectly charred and tender. I got the smoked brisket burger which was also delicious and the price was half the cost of what other high end spots charge for the same quality food. Too bad i was passing through and live and hr away or this would be my new spot. Gave 4 stars because fries were mediocre considering you have to buy everything a la carte (should be included with sandwhiches/burgers) otherwise everything else is great
Food very bland. Meats were not seasoned, just had BBQ sauce.
My family and I have been going to patio for years and recently they have been slacking off. Today I received two salads with hair in it and I only managed to take a picture of one on the chicken because I was too disgusted. I can’t say I would go again because they just lost 6 customers due to them not able to wear hairnets. It’s already bad as it is for restaurants in this pandemic and even worse if restaurants can’t keep their cleanliness in check. I am beyond disappointed in my order.
It was my first experience at this place.If you are a fan of burger and brisket.. then this is the right choice.Mr. Bob, a gentle-man was standing by the cashier helped to pick a smoked brisket burger and buffalo wings.Beautiful choice and experience.I recommend you visit it ,Prices are reasonable.. a brisket burger for USD 9 .. good.Atmosphere abd staff are just well
Great portions and good quality fast casual food. Sundays are usually packed, always lines when we come in. Workers are very attentive and they work hard behind the counter. Place is well kept so I would recommend coming to eat here with family or friends.
The chicken was great. The sweet potato fries were nice to look at but dry. And the salad looked sad - bottom of the drawer I am afraid! Patio, you could do better.
Pic explains it all since they wanna be smart about me asking to replace my burger bc I found a hair on it... this place isnt what it used to be...

2022-05-01First time visit . Today is Sunday and I had to arrive before church let’s out. I’m starving so I ordered half slab combo with baked chicken , apple pecan chicken salad, double chocolate brownie . Tender and good chicken. Half slab a wee bit tough but it’s still good. They have the best bbq sauce to me.

2022-02-22Can never do no wrong coming here. Anything ordered on the menu is good. Service has always been good and place is always well kept. Spent just over $11 for a classic chicken sandwich and baked potato. Always has been a great place to get food.

2022-04-12Great customer service. Clean tables, fast service. Very kind and helpful staff.Great place for ribs... Barbeque sauce not too tangy or sweet and the right amount of spicy. The creamy chicken and rice soup is excellent and The bread is warm and fresh... Not a fan of onion rings but you have to try them there. Overall a great family place.

2021-05-28Great food, Great service, super clean restaurant. Ive had the brisket sandwich several times and its always been very lean and tender. The bbq sauce is full flavored and compliments the meat without overwhelming the taste. The beans and homemade and super tasty.

2022-06-02I have loved and touted the patio for over 25 years. The last three times I have ordered the ribs they were terrible! I tried two more times after the first bad reaction because maybe a one off... They were tiny and about as dry as it gets... extremely unsatisfied! Then I get the same exact experience the next two times in over a year. This is just one more Chicago classic that basically has given up on the quality customers expect... After the third time I will never give them my money again...Do not support garbage restaurants just because they were once good.

2022-04-03Best restaurant since 1977. Ive been going here for 25 years and can honestly say I dont recall ever being disappointed. Its family owned since 1977 and John and his family are on top of it. They never skimp on QUALITY or PORTIONS. HIGHLY recommend you try them out if youve never had the privilege of going here.

2022-06-01Im not happy with The Patio they attemp to cook, but with no passion. Very bland and the ribs arent that good anymore. I think its time to drive past and try a different restaurant. We used to be a dedicated customer. But, was really 😲 shocked when their cream of chicken soup had gobs of something in it. Ugh ... gross!! 👎

2022-05-31Ist time posting ever, but ordered take out yesterday Memorial Day2 full slabs & combo, some sides, over $100.You could literally not pull the bones apart, thats how tough there were. Weve order here many times, always good, but not this time. Dirty shame

2021-03-26Covid Safe and Friendly Restaurant. Great Customer Service with only one person per table handling your food to the table. Food was good and hot. The best part was seeing the waiters cleaning table and chairs as soon as the customers left the table. Recommend this Restaurant🍴💥
