Jody is a great person and great massage therapist. Personally, I dont get as much out of the massages that make me fall asleep. I prefer the deep-tissue massages that work all of the bad stuff out of my muscles and allow my body to heal. And thats why I go to Jody.
I’ve been receiving massage from the human touch for over 20 years. Jody is an incredibly knowledgeable therapist who puts her knowledge into each massage. I have standing bimonthly appointments and can tell the difference in my body if I have to miss. I had massage through all 40 weeks of both my pregnancies. Once you get a massage from the Human Touch, you won’t want to go anywhere else.
Jody has been my Massage Therapist for several years. Jody has helped me remain active and free of lower back pain with strong, gentle and professional massage.I would highly recommend her human touch if you want to remain active and pain-free as you age. Richard D.H.
Had a wonderful sports massage by Jody that was both relaxing and helpful in relieving my right quad/ IT band tightness. I was just traveling to Chicago for work with a half marathon coming up so was a bit nervous with my leg discomfort, but glad I found Joey who’s also a fellow runner! Highly recommend to anyone and would come back to visit when I am in town next.
If youre an athlete in Chicago stop looking and go see Jody for your RSI, range of motion, and soft tissue pain/soreness. Shes the real deal. This is clinical massage at the highest levels.If youre looking for a spa -- nothing wrong with that -- this isnt it. No incense, no fluffy slippers, no white robes, just excellent bodywork, an extremely skilled therapist, and a lot passion to get you back on your feet and into the game.
I was in a car accident many years ago that has caused me quite some pain. I’ve tried many medical massage providers but Jody most helps me manage my pain the best.She can provide a very strong level of pressure when needed and can get all of those hard spots softened up. I highly recommend visiting Jody.
Jody is the best massage therapist I’ve ever used! She was able to identify the root to my pain with just one session! Something that 10 MRIs and 6 doctors couldn’t figure out over years. 10 out of 10 would recommend her.

I’ve had extreme pain in both my arms for 2 years now where I cannot even sleep on my right or left side anymore. I just wanted to relieve this agony I was in. She really listened to me and works your trouble spots in a comfortable and relaxing manner without being in unbearable pain. For anyone who deals with stress, pain or any other issue or just looking to be extremely relaxed, you will not regret coming. I truly look forward to my weekly sessions with Jodie!!!

I would highly recommend Jodi. She is amazing and she has helped me with so many issues. From sports injuries to sore muscles she knows just where to apply the best pressure to make you feel so much better. I have recently had a pinched nerve and she is so knowledgeable in where to treat your problem areas, I was relieved of a lot of my pain after one visit. She makes you feel so comfortable and she is just the best. I go once a month for regular tune ups with Jodi. I just can’t praise her enough. Been seeing her for a few years now.

Jody Brown is by far the very best massage therapist. I was a road warrior for over 20 years for my job. Jody kept me out of the orthopedic offices and physician offices for many of my working years once I found her! I had gone to many other “massage” therapists that claimed deep tissue however no one compares to Jody. She goes right to the problem areas because she can “feel” them and then she works on them to relieve whatever the issue is! She is phenomenal. There have been 2 occasions over the past 18 years that Jody told me I needed more than she could do for me. She knows what she is doing and what is best for you. She has an extensive education in her field and knows the human body! I would recommend Jody to everyone! She has kept me healthy for many years and I plan on seeing her as long as I am living!!!!!!!
Jody has been my massage therapist for more than 10 years. She is the best massage therapist I have ever had! She is highly professional, yet truly has the human touch. She is kind and caring, and is exquisitely aware of the needs of my body. She always asks if there are any special issues that need to be attended to. Whether it is tight back, shoulder, and neck muscles due to hours of computer work, soreness resulting from shoveling snow, or pain due to a sports injury, she always knows exactly what to do to effectively treat the issue. In addition, she is constantly striving to learn new techniques through attending classes, thus adding to her already amazing repertoire of skills. I have recommended her to family and friends, and I am delighted to add my voice to the many others who have benefitted from her prodigious talents. There is nothing better for improving ones physical and mental well-being than getting a massage from Jody. She is the best!
Jody is an incredibly talented woman. In just 3 weeks (going 1.5 hours/week) she has helped my neck mobility drastically and given me hope! I have been getting massages all my life... or so I thought. Jody will make you rethink all your previous massages. She’s the absolute best at what she does. Highly recommend!!!
Jody is the best massage therapist Ive ever been to. Prior to finding her I suffered from regular headaches, something even my chiropractor was not able to solve. Regular treatments with Jody have completely eliminated them, if I wasnt a believer before in massage I am now. Thank you Jody!
Jody changed my life. After a rotator cuff surgery I had no idea all my lats were glue to the bone. I was able to breath with no pain. Jody is an excellent and professional therapist. I would recommend anyone getting a massage with her weekly. Thank you Jody and I cant wait to go back!
Jody Brown is simply the best! Years ago, I developed a hip and lower back issue that launched me on a quest for THE perfect massage/massage therapist. Others tried, but I left those less-experienced/less-knowledgeable therapists feeling…meh. Is that all there is? And then I was referred to Jody. What a difference! She truly knows the body, how it works and what to do to make it work better for you. So, save yourself time and money. Just start (and stay) with Jody. You can thank me later.

Have been getting massages about bi-weekly (except during shutdown period) from Jody for two years. She is the best....very clean and quiet studio, outstanding quality massage, very friendly, good conversationalist...all round excellent and professional therapist. Highly recommend her.
Besides being a great massage therapist she’s a wonderful person also. I was in so much pain with my back I could barely get up off the floor playing with my grandson. I had to drop out of my racquetball league couldn’t golf so I went to my physician he prescribe pain medicine which didn’t work went to a local chiropractor he put me through a 12 week program with no results I was getting desperate because I was leaving for a golf vacation in a couple weeks if I couldn’t get the problem resolved I was going to have to cancel the trip my son mentioned going to see Jody he and his wife had gone to her so I called her and told her my situation she got me right in. She used a pressure release therapy on my back and it was instant relief it was unbelievable I spent 12 sessions with my chiropractor with no results and one session with Jody and the pain was gone I call her my miracle worker. I have not had an issue since.
If you have body pain and you haven’t had massage therapy from Jody Brown, you owe it to yourself! I have lower back and hip issues and nothing helps like her amazing deep-tissue work. Her ability to provide restorative therapy is outstanding and her gift for understanding what each unique individual needs is truly unmatched in her field. I know many people who have gone to Jody and they all say the same thing: She is the best!

A truly talented physiotherapist. I have been going to Jody for years, in both her Peoria location and her Chicago locations. I have a neck curved in the wrong direction, a hip that sits to low in its socket, and a very stressful job. What keeps me functioning, performing at my best, and the pain and headaches at bay? Jody and exercise. Ive had massage therapists from some of the most reknown spa locations in the US: and they do not hold a candle to what Jody can do. Her 20 years of experience shines through and shes very reasonably priced. Simple put: see her. Your body will thank you.
Im very picky when it comes to selecting massage therapists and Jody is fabulous. I have foot, ankle and leg issues from an accident I was in a few years ago and Jody knows how to take care of me. I always leave her office feeling and walking better. Knowing that Jody treats others with injuries gives me comfort that she knows what shes doing when it comes to working with patients who have chronic pain from injuries.
I had looked everywhere for a good massage therapist after I incurred a severe neck injury . I found Jody and she has helped me live virtually pain free for the last 20 plus years. She really knows her stuff and can customize your massage to fit whatever you are in need of. You will not be disappointed. Worth every penny.

2022-01-28I have been going to Jody for years and years. I have a neck curved in the wrong direction, a slipped shoulder, a hip issue, planters, you get the picture. However, since I regularly see Jody I have no degeneration in my neck, no bone spurs, and keep up with my work outs and spin class four times weekly. My health and my body are important to me. I am so lucky to have found Jody who is such an important integral part of my health plan and maintenance! I have had the best therapists in the the best spas. Absolutely none of them even come close to her extremely talented hands.

2022-04-16Jody is the best massage therapist in Chicago - hands down! If you have chronic pain or are experiencing an injury, Jody is the person for you. She has helped me so much throughout my journey recovering from a ski accident. I couldn’t believe how much better I felt after just one visit. I now see Jody regularly and she is the only massage therapist I have gone to where the results really last. Jody was able to help me identify and work through trigger points in my neck, which has provided me with immense relief. She is extremely flexible with booking and rescheduling appointments, and is such a pleasure to talk to. 10/10 would recommend!

2022-02-26Best massage Ive had in Chicago! Scheduling online was a breeze, and Jody was an absolute delight :) She was polite, punctual, and thorough. Her office is conveniently located downtown, and I was able to find it with ease. Upon arrival I was able to fill out a form and specify my needs. The ambiance was relaxing, neat, and well organized. To top it all off, Jody was professional and great for conversation. As a fellow service professional I cannot recommend her enough!

2022-07-09Jody is an exceptionally talented massage therapist. I came to her practice after dealing with chronic pain for a year; in just a few sessions, Jody has helped significantly reduce my pain levels and has made me feel empowered to build back my strength. She has a great deal of technical knowledge about the human body, as well as an intuitive, precise understanding of where aches and pains are coming from. All of that would be enough, but shes also kind, compassionate, and funny. Im so grateful to have found her practice.

2021-12-22Jody is a life saver. I had chronic and debilitating neck pain due to a 3 year old whiplash injury and in just 2 visits I finally have relief. This was pain chiropractors could not solve and being that Im a nurse in my 20s I needed help fast!. Not only is Jody the kindest and warmest person but she is professional, extremely knowledgeable in her craft and makes you feel comfortable throughout the whole thing. Jody cares about her client and their well-being. Her office is clean, warm, comfortable, and easy to get too via train (redline) bus, or car (street parking). Jody is the best massage therapist around and comes highly recommended. Jody has brought me peace in mind, body and spirit this past year. Go see her!!

2022-07-08I was having terrible hip pain after total knee replacements. Walking sometimes was painful. I started looking for a massage therapist and found Jody through reviews. After my first massage my pain was gone!! She is absolutely amazing! I now go in every other week and have never felt better. She is not only is a world class therapist but she is one of the most caring people you will ever meet. This is not just a job for her but truly her passion.

I came to her with headaches, neck pain and TMJ all of which have improved significantly since I started seeing her regularly. 2022-03-16Jody is profound in her understanding of the human body. With her help, I reduced pain/injury in my shoulder immensely. She is truly the best at her craft. Her 25 years of industry experience is immediately apparent upon starting your first session. Don’t waste your time looking for someone better in Chicago because there isn’t one.
