I love the Gallery! They are professional, kind, and accommodating from the second you make an appointment! They are flexible and understanding with having to reschedule, and are excited to see me every time I walk in! I always feel better walking out than I did walking in! I get my cut and color done there, and recently, my sister’s bridal party got our hair and makeup done there and we had such a fun morning with the staff! I don’t live in Springfield anymore but am always willing to make the drive home anytime I need a touch up and won’t let anyone else touch my hair! Can’t say enough good things about the people there- both about their talent and their personalities!
The Gallery is the place for hair and makeup for weddings! My bridal party and moms looked amazing! Melissa did an awesome job on my hair and makeup and I am so happy with my decision! Not only did I go here for wedding hair but I also see Melissa for my color and cut and it’s amazing every time! Thank you Gallery!
From the greeting when they answer the phone to when I walk in the door, I always feel like a valued client. I have been a customer for over 8 years and can honestly say I have never had a bad experience. They listen to me, help educate me on my hair texture and possibilities and then train me on how to use the tools and products. I highly recommend The Gallery!
The Gallery is my favorite place to go to feel pampered and relaxed! My designer Ashley is amazing! She is extremely knowledgeable about hair and skin and always makes me feel and look fabulous! The entire staff is super friendly and welcoming.
I have to say that I LOVE The Gallery. I get my hair done by Michelle and she is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. She is such a talented designer and she ALWAYS makes me look so great and also makes me feel so good. Michelle also does facials and I have to tell you that you will not get a better facial anywhere. I go to Emily for massages and she is AMAZING. Both Michelle and Emily LOVE what they do and you can tell it when you are with them. And that is so important.Then there is Cass and Maggie, who run the front and I cannot imagine ever walking in and not seeing them there. They both take such good care of us, and always find a way to make sure we get in with those girls and are so great at working with me on scheduling for my mom and I.As far as the rest of the designers go they are some of the sweetest and kindest people I have ever met in one salon. I have never been in a salon that makes you feel so at home from the moment you walk in till the moment you have to leave. It is such a comfortable place, you feel like you truly belong and just want to spend the day.The Gallery is the best thing that has happened to me. I love their services and would rather spend my time and money there because I know that is so good for my mental health. And I have learned that taking care of me is important.Thank you Michelle for my beautiful looks each and every time and the facials that I cannot live without.Thank you Emily for always giving me those massages that help me feel so relaxed and so good.Thank you to all the designers that wash and blow out my hair when, lets face it, I am just too tired or lazy to do it myself. The Gallery Salon, Spa, and Boutique offers the big city pampering experience in Springfield. My stylist Nicole and I have been a team for 14 years. From everyday to special occasion styles, and two wedding events, look your best. Work with the best talents.
I had a fairly easy request. I wanted full highlights. I wanted to stay $150 or under. The color she picked was only about a half shade lighter. I did not see the color she picked.. this was probably my fault for not asking what color she picked.. she showed me photos of hair models. It was the right level of highlights i was looking for.. The color on the models hair was about right.. but my hair ended up way darker.. You can see a bit at the root, but not really much different at all. When I got home, my husband and best friend were like.. I thought you were getting highlights? Lol.. She quoted at $118. Then she was using a spray that I liked. She told me it was $13 I told her I would get it, along with a few other products. Well.. it was not $13. It was $44. There are no prices on any of the products. When I looked on Amazon, there was a 33% mark up on all of the products. When I get to the register, my $118 that was quoted suspiciously turned into $150. My exact to the penny max I wanted to spend.My hair dresser was very nice, the scalp massage was wonderful, the atmosphere was great, the decor was beautiful. I really did feel pampered. I really did de-stress. I dont want it to appear that the place was awful. With that being said, when you quote a price on a hair style, you cant jack up the price to the absolute max budget given. Also, there was a huge difference between the product being $13 and end up being $44. This could have been avoided by simply having a price listed on the product, or a price list near the products.This photo was the day after I got the highlights done.
There’s no doubt The Gallery has some talented stylists and staff. There’s also no doubt they cater to a certain type of client and I don’t think I’m it. I actually heard their front desk member, Maggie, talking badly about myself and my friend as we were leaving after we checked out and in the past have witnessed first hand how she berates her coworkers. That was the last time I’ll be visiting The Gallery, as I can’t seem to book on a day that a different staff member is there and I just don’t feel comfortable.
The Gallery was a great place to have my hair done. I was very impressed with the new building. They were all masked and took great stride to make sure they took steps according to the Virus protection.
The Gallery is my happy place! I can go there and end up feeling so pampered, so relaxed, and so uplifted when I leave. Everyone there is so professional and so eager to please. At my age, I love the attention and am so happy with the way I look when I leave, as well as with how good I feel.And the chocolate chip cookies are a real treat!!

Nailed it!!! Its been almost 2 years since Ive had my hair cut last n they took me in right away... not only was it friendly and inviting the moment I walked threw the doors but the staff were so welcoming... I highly recommend this place to any and everyone!!! Im so in love with my hair right now
Talented, Caring, Incredible Results! My hair needed help badly and they wowd me. That is a pretty big task because when it comes to my hair and skin I am very picky. I am so pleased with my results and recommended products which have maintained the results. Great salon, talented staff, and quality products!
Really cool salon, they have all the right stuff, massages, hair products, hair cuts and styling, as well asap skin care. Top of the line in customer service, you never hear the word no.

2022-01-24I cannot say enough about this salon. I have been going there since the reopening of salons in 2020 and I have been consistently very happy with everything and everyone. I initially went there because of the procedures they had put in place during the pandemic. I am extremely happy with the service I have received from the stylists and the front desk. I have gone to three stylists there: Brittany, Michelle, and now Abby, due to maternity leaves, Covid, etc. All of them have given me top notch service and styling. The front desk has been extremely gracious and accommodating with my need to reschedule or cancel. The salon itself is extremely comfortable. In short, I highly recommend this salon!

2022-06-30I absolutely love coming here! The environment alone is so cute! Everyone is always very friendly and professional. I just recently had a wedding and brought my bridesmaids here for hair/makeup! They all loved it and thought the place was very cute. It was great that they could shop clothes, candles, etc while waiting for other girls to finish up. Some girls liked it so much, they mentioned coming back to get services done for themselves. Highly recommend!

The girl that did my hair was incredibly nice, professional, thorough, and quick. She even took me through a tour of the building since it was my first time there. They offer so many different products and services.

2021-05-07I felt at home the moment I walked in the door of The Gallery. They have casually elegant ambiance which includes some great gifts and boutique area. Brittany is a magician with curly hair and is the best colorist I’ve ever had. We talk honestly about my hair, what’s doable and what might not work, and I totally recommend her. I also recommend Ellie, who has done my hair as well and never disappoints! Great salon

2021-10-23I want to share how beautiful and clean the place is. You are greeted and offered a drink. Everyone is so politely and give the WOW in customer service. They have a boutique of clothes and candles, decor is a beautiful rustic feel with barn doors on the window. It’s just a beautiful place to walk into. They were able to fit me in at the last minute and I was grateful for that. Abby, my hair dresser, an amazing spirit and just so professional.So you ask, why 3 stars.I was quoted $191 to have color, cut and curl with a deep condition which added $30 more to the price so total $221.No problem, I am good with the price.Note: I make sure to ask for the cost beforehand because I was ripped off by a hairdresser when visiting North Carolina.After everything was completed I go to pay.Receptionist, “Ok, it is going to be $274”.Excuse me, No, that’s not what I was quoted and that is not what I will pay. Now if they said, “Sorry let me get this corrected” or “Yes, we did miss quote” 5 stars, period.The professionalism and cleanliness and the fact they fitted me in….Yea that’s what I would have gave themNo, that didn’t happen, they politely try to point out why the extra cost was applied “Well if you need more color, etc. this is why the quote can change”.They seem to be shocked I made it clear I’m not paying that price, they had to talk with her and to give them a second. Nothing was mentioned during the session that there may be a higher cost which I would have been like “You should have told me before starting the process.” Well, nevertheless, that is the reason for the 3 stars review.Now imagine, if I wasn’t the person I am. I don’t settle and give in to anyone, but many people do. I could only imagine how many people are being price gouged that is going there for the first time.Just please get your price before starting the service so you won’t be charged $50 more than what the service is really going to cost. Thank you and I pray they will be more transparent about their cost and stick to it with future clients

2021-05-19Its always a delight to spend time at the Gallery! The atmosphere is professional, yet relaxing. Having your hair washed is a decadent experience! Whether it is cut or color, my results are always what I requested. I look forward to a relaxing, pleasant experience each month! I highly recommend Savanna or any of the other stylists.

2021-03-07I booked by phone and when asking what I wanted they listened to absolutely nothing. They only booked me for a cut instead of cut and color and refused to color that day stating they would reschedule that. No you messed up not me. I scheduled my daughter same time for cut and curl they did not curl. My stylist is gone. They did not fix anything, charged me full price for my daughter and are way low class since my last visit, I will never return. Go to Unique Enchantments. Never again will the Gallery steal my money.
