My experience at Autobarn Nissan was so delightful - Sales rep. Bogdan Serb is super patient and is just a very pleasant person to work with overall. The process was straightforward which was such a relief- every question I had was met with an answer right away and Bogdan was very attentive plus respectful of our time. The rest of the team was extremely helpful as well and also so welcoming. We were able to go home with a Nissan that same day :)
Everyone I encountered from the front desk staff to the mechanics were kind and helpful. One particular staff member Ryan Luu made sure I understood everything, from what was in need of replacement to what could wait. They also made sure my car was cleaner than when it arrived. It may seem like a small addition but I really appreciated the finishing touch.
Everyone I interacted with was courteous, professional, and respectful. They explained the diagnosis of the issue and also performed complimentary inspections of other functions of my car. They weren’t able to recreate the issue I had with my ac not working so I was really pleased that there was no charge. I’ll be bringing the car back this summer to hopefully recreate the problem and get it fixed.
Great experience from start to finish. No high pressure sales, just quality service and understanding. Bogdan was fantastic, very understanding about me checking other dealerships. Ultimately, there car and price were the best so I came back. The entire process was simple and straightforward. Thank You to Bogdan and the rest of the team, sorry I dont remember names but several people helped and they were all great.

Just bought a 2022 Frontier from Autobarn Nissan of Evanston. The buying process was low pressure and professional. Bogdan Serb (sales rep), Jim Martinez (sales manager), and Adam Vogt (finance manger) were a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them if you are in the market for a new Nissan. Plus, the new facility is great!

I will never go to this dealership again. There associate Danny provided sub par service. I informed him of a coupon on the Autobarn website before he took my keys. I also informed him of the service that I made the appointment for. Only to get back into my car with a sticker for another vehicle. The coupon was for $10 off an oil and filter change. The ONLY good thing was another associate RYAN corrected the sticker issue. However, I didnt see that they didnt apply the discount until after I got home. I will not patronize an establishment that does not honor the advertisement on its website.Mr. Drescher,Thank you for reaching out but after receiving a call from one of your employees, J. Haas: suggesting that I remove my review in exchange for a $20 discount off my next service visit. I then received several text messages as well with the same information. This makes me feel like Im being harrassed because I expressed my experience. This situation could have been handled differently from the beginning.
When I arrived 5-10 minutes early for my appointment time for just an oil change and tire rotation, I was told that it should take 60-90 minutes. The person said most likely 90, but they would try for sooner. I indicated that I wanted to also purchase new windshield wipers and I was told at check-in that someone would come and talk to me in the waiting area about a quote for new wipers. I sat in the waiting area for two full hours, with no one talking to me or checking in with me. After two hours, I went to the counter and asked for an update. I was told that they were finishing washing and vacuuming my car. I asked about the wiper blades and seemingly nothing had been done or entered about that. The person at the counter then added wiper blades, saying they were $35. I said I was told I would receive a quote, which I thought meant I would have choices of blades. The person at the counter said, no, theres only one option. I had a bad experience with my last wipers in the snow and wanted really good blades, but apparently I had no choices. I then looked outside and noticed that my car was already parked outside of the service area as if it were ready to go. I paid my full bill including the wipers, but the wipers had not been installed yet. So the original person who checked me in and told me that it would be 90 minutes or less and that someone would get me a quote, then went to himself install the wiper blades while I waited standing outside by my car. He needed help so had to go get a tech which took a while, then the tech finished installing the wiper blades. I got in the car and noticed too that my car had not been vacuumed at all, though it had been washed. After driving away, I received a text, maybe 10 minutes later, saying Hi Jennifer, this is Ryan at Autobarn Nissan of Evanston. Your vehicle service is complete. Pay your bill online at ________ Reply STOP if you do not wish to receive text messages. I had already paid and already left the dealership! Seems like every system here was not functional. I was given 10% off at the counter when I complained about waiting and noted my car was outside and no wipers had been added, which was ok, but did not make up for all the failures in the process. I could have waited less and l think paid less for an oil change, tire rotation and wiper blades and maybe even had choices if I had gone somewhere else. It really should not take two hours. I could have gotten in and out of a Jiffy Lube in 30 minutes.
The salesman Bodgan Serb completely concealed the actual price of the car. He masked the actual price of the car using a down payment that I did not agree to. He was very quick to respond when I was interested in the car however, after purchasing it he does not want to communicate regarding the cars misrepresentation. Horrible Experience!
The customer service that I received from start to finish was impeccable. They handled my transportation needs while my vehicle was being repaired. They kept me up to date on my vehicle progress. Pricing was very transparent and fair. I have not one complaint. I would like to thank Joe Hass, Yessenia Gonzalez and Dwight Wedderburn. You have gained a long term customer. Keep up the good work!
I go in because I notice my break lights flashes on randomly when used and a slight squeal when breaking. I had to pay $90 just for and inspection and waited 3 hours for it. I was texted a list of other things that supposedly needed immediate attention. Mind you 13m ago the dealership installed new rear brakes but it is only a 12m warranty; n so it was expired. Given a cost of $1400 for all new brakes, not including the cost of the other things I needed to fix. Never was I taken into the shop to view these problems. I was told I needed my all my brakes redone every 50k miles. I asked for a print out not a text and took it to another shop to verify. Again, NO work was done, waited 3hrs for this diagnosis.Drive to another shop w my print out in hand. Im going here since i just bought 4 new tires from them 7m ago. Before putting my car on the rack, I was shown under the hood where I needed to put in brake fluid since it was low. So i was topped off for free. They put my car on the rack, rotated my tires (free), showed me the bent heat shield from the list, fixed for free. Showed me where my missing AC caps were n told me I could order the parts myself n install since they are similar to the caps on my valves on the tires or bring in and theyd put it on for free. Said I still have life on my brakes, but the front pads needed to be redone/recut cause of uneven wear. They had replaced my front brakes 10m ago so again FREE. Topped off all my fluids for FREE. I requested an oil change. I pay for the upgraded oil. End of the day, I paid the same amount of to fix my car that I paid at the dealership to JUST the diagnosis it. Not to mention I waited less than 2hrs and no more brake light and squeals.PS....At the dealership, I was told that if its any consolation...that shop team loved how beautiful my car looked. I had instructed them NOT to wash or dirty it up since I just had a complete detail the day before, n ceramic coat put on. I dont mind dropping money for the upkeep of my car. I do have a problem w not being an informed consumer and a shop that nickles n dimes me.
Mauricio and Sergio were very helpful and friendly to us when we visited they made sure that we got the best deal for the car we were looking for. Highly recommend going to them when looking for a car definitely sending people to them and coming to them for future car purchases.
Today Thursday March 24, took my car for a change of tires and alignment and my car rode as if i got it as new. The young gentleman which i forgot the name but hopefully ill get it right. That young dude is above and beyond and i see that his focus to customers and how persistent he is with customers is above expectations. if it wasnt for his customer service and advice i wouldnt have saved money and nonetheless found the real problem to my car. Definitely recommend you to him and as soon as i find his card and name i will update it
I purchased brand new Nissan Sentra 2018 from Autobarn in Evanston.It’s been 12 months since the purchase date, and there is a rust forming with the bubbles under the paint on my trunk door above the license plate(see attached).I went to Nissan to complain about this factory error but they did everything to not plead the guilty, with the main excuse that my rusted vehicle is rusty because it has 30k miles on it.What does the engine has to do with rusted trunk????Is this supposed to happen after 12 months of purchase on every car????Here is another situation.Since my purchase for the first time I used the brand new car jack from my trunk in order to fix and replace the flat tire.The mechanism inside the jack started to bend over and the car almost fell.Luckily, my tire was on.I went to Nissan and told them about this problem and they told me I shouldn’t worry about it and there is a warranty on this type of problem.They told me that I need to bring the old one and they will order a new one and they will let me know once they have it in stock and when is ready for pick up(see attached).Today I went to Nissan and they asked me to give them an old one and offered me to seat for half an hour.What happened is, they gave me back the same one corrected with screwdriver.Most likely, I will hire a lawyer regarding the case and experience with Autobarn of Nissan in Evanston.
The sales team was outstanding. Didnt try to force me to buy another car, really worked with lenders to find me the best rate 3 times. The service department there is horrid a few years ago and I swore I wouldnt go back. Then I saw a car that really fit my needs and they had the best price at this dealership. So glad I gave them another chance. Kept me in the know the whole time and never made me feel like my concerns were unimportant. Incredibly friendly and professional from start to finish. Make sure you find Juan for you sales needs, he went above and beyond for my family and made sure we were comfortable. Hes really a genuinely great guy. So glad I went here before any other dealer.
I was helped by Adolfo, he did a very good job on explaining the functions of my car. He’s the best salesman I’ve worked with this far. He’s very knowledgeable of the product, and he will also get you right with the pricing. He’ll make sure you leave happy not just with your car but also with your monthly payments. I was putting off turning my lease in and getting a new vehicle because the last thing I wanted to do on my day off was spend it at the car dealership. However, my lease was soon expiring, so I had to bite the bullet and get it done. I called Autobarn Nissan because I saw a couple vehicles online that I was interested in. Vince Jimenez, picked up the phone and became my sales guy and I am SOOOO GLAD I got him. He was so knowledgeable when showing me the cars and was really wonderful at answering my questions, and he didnt make me feel pressured or rushed. Jim Martinez (General Sales Manager) REALLY IMPRESSED ME. I talked to him before I arrived about the cars I was interested in and when I arrived, I didnt have to walk all over the lot to look at them- he had the cars all in a row waiting for me!!! Jim also helped me with my lease and helped my indecisive-self pick out the safest vehicle ( Im not the best driver)Jim and Vince had me in my car and off to finance in an hour ( Shout out to Adam the finance guy who was AWESOME)I have to say that Autobarn Nissan has a dream team of people who are professional, polite and pleasant to be around. Give them a try!
I had to come here for a recall since my mechanic couldnt get the part. They washed my car without asking when it was below zero wind chills. Im glad I could get the doors open with the ice that built up. I still had to go to my mechanic to get routine maintenance done since Im not paying dealer prices. Basically going to the dealer was an extra trip I shouldnt have to have made.
I went here for an oil change/tire rotation and to have an issue looked at after a bad experience at another Nissan service center. Yessenia at the service desk was very welcoming and listened to all my concerns. She kept me up to date on the progression of things and went through my inspection with me, I’ve never had someone do that for me at any of the other Nissan service centers I’ve visited. Dwight the mechanic fixed my issue, he was up to date on the service bulletins for Nissan, knew exactly what was wrong and took care of it under warranty. He then went with me for a ride in the car to ensure the issue was fixed. Not only that, which would have been more than enough, they washed and vacuumed my car and replaced a missing screw in my license plate-I didn’t even ask them to do that! This is my new favorite service center and Yessenia and Dwight are my new favorite people.
Alejandro Atunez & Robert Hamilton were, by far, the best Ive EVER dealt with when purchasing a car. They both went above and beyond to ensure I got what I wanted, and that I got the best deal! I will never shop with anyone else again when I purchase others cars for me and my family! They surpassed all of my expectations and made this a haggle-free experience! Great place to purchase a vehicle! The staff is very knowledge about their vehicles and the current climate of the industry. I worked with Bogdan who was very professional and honest. He provided great insight on my trade in vehicle and got the best deal for me. I will definitely be recommending my family and friends back to this dealership and Bogdan!
The customer service was great but Joe and Vincent went above and beyond to help me get the parts and the prices to get me back on the road my only gripe was there were no loaner cars for me but other than that the mechanics were great they went above and beyond to help me get back on the road.
This was, by far, the least painful buying experience Ive ever had! From our salesman, Larry Wolfe, to manager and master negotiator Jon Fusha! To the incredible finance team - everyone we dealt with was professional and easygoing. And I walked out with a beautiful Rogue Sport! I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership. 5 Stars all around!
I never leave reviews, but after purchasing a car here and having had interacted with the stuff I feel is the least I could do. My first contact was with someone(Shannon) through text messages, and she was very quick to respond and very nice and understanding. The second person was Alex, he was great! very nice and genuine person who actually cares to help you out. One of the managers(cant remember his name) was very nice and with an easy outgoing personality to him; he met me down with a good deal for me and the dealership. The closing finance guy(also cant remember his name) although our interaction was short, he was nice and outgoing as well. My boyfriend and I came with his daughter and the stuff were nice and warming to her constantly giving her some attention--she even got some candy! Overall, the costumer service in this place is a 10/10.
First words would have to be. Mauricio Rubio! He’s been one of the kindest, sweetest, salesman I’ve ever encountered. He made me feel very important and as soon as I walked in he was the first to approach me out of the 3 salesman standing near the door. (This was a couple weeks ago) I was looking for an SUV. Mauricio made sure to communicate with me and make me feel confident in my thoughts while talking to me about my soon to be new vehicle. I’m sending my kids to him as well soon. He’s young, but has more energy than anyone I’ve ever encountered in sales. Thank you, Mauricio.
I went in because I had heard rattling in my car. When I got there they said there were 3 recalls on my car. They gave me a ride home. Several hours later after testing my car, they said there was nothing wrong with it and did not charge me for the testing. They picked me up from my home. They said the recalls had been fixed. When asked, they helped me get my radio stations back. I forgot to ask about how to get the time on my clock back so now the time is wrong in my car. However, overall a good experience. They got the job done. Id recommend them.
We live 7.5 hours away and probably will never return to this dealership, but they were fantastic. I wish this dealership was in Clarksville, TN. They made the process easy and quick which is what we were wanting. They had the exact car we’d been looking for for months and decided to make the drive to Chicago to get it. This dealership is fantastic and Alex was awesome. We just wished it was closer.
Autobarn Nissan given me a 4 oil change and tire rotation service free when i bought the car. But every time I am going there no one hearing that. They told me you do not have free services. They want to do pay me for this services.I have all written document and sales and financial manager told me that 4 oil services and tire rotation. But Every time I have to explain them every time and its frusteting to me every time.I went for services I told them my seat belt alarm is not working. I bought the car 3 month ago. Is 2019 Dec. manufacture car. They said Car do not have features. I feel like they given false information. They did not solved car RPM problem.I feel like that I spend money and did not get anything.I never preferred to go AUTOBURN NISSAN.

I had my car looked at very quickly. The mechanic and representative honored my manufacturer warranty even though I had concerns from the previous owner. I even went to multiple other Nissan dealerships that gave me a hard time, but this one actually took the time to listen and understand my car concerns! I came to them with a clear description on what was wrong and they focused on it. I live in Indiana and drove all the way to this one!
Ive been to many places, and this is absolutely the worst. Be ready to be ripped off, and be recommended thousands of dollars of repair that you dont need. I get my car inspected here, Autobarn said my car isnt safe to drive and recommended thousands of dollars for repairs. I took it to multiple other places to get second opinions. All the second opinions checked out to be the same that I dont need any of the repairs Autobarn recommended. I will never come here again and will tell all my friends and family to stay away.

I was always told to take the cheaper route and dont go to the dealership to get your car fixed. Ive had bad experiences going to a Nissan dealership until I came here. These guys have been amazing! They gave me a handout of what I need to do to my car to get it back to top notch and Ive really enjoyed the journey. They assure me that problems are resolved and they communicate. They will continue to get my service.
Extremely disappointed that wearing a mask inside was not enforced!!! I was in the waiting area for 2 hours and almost everyone that passed through the area was NOT wearing a mask, including the people that used the coffee machine. Normally I have been very happy with the service here, however I am not sure when I will return.
The service was fast, but more importantly I was helped by Joe, and he remembered what the situation was with my car from my last visit, not because of reading notes, but he genuinely remembered. Dealing with Joe is like dealing with someone at your neighborhood shop, he’s genuine and truly cares about customers. We could easily start bringing our car to a cheaper place for oil changes because our oil change package has expired, but the customer service Joe has offered us has kept us coming back to The Autobarn Nissan.
I have been going to The Autobarn of Nissan in Evanston since I purchased my Altima in December of 2018. They are friendly and courteous. I had an appointment for May 12 but on May 11 I found myself in the area so I called the Manager Joe and asked if I could come in today and he accommodated me right away. Work was done and I was on my way home in no time. Ill always use them.
I found my new car through carfax, and spent some time at previous dealerships before I found myself at Autobarn. For a first time used car buyer, I was lucky to have Eric Fragassi there to help me. His input looking at both Honda and Nissan options was indispensable, and he was essential to me making my decision to go with a certified used Rogue Sport. Kendrick, the sales manager was also a joy to work with, and both of them made sure I was informed and understood what my best financing and benefits options would be. I didnt think used car shopping could be so pain-free, and count myself lucky to have found the rarest type of car salesmen - straightforward, trustworthy, and good-humored.
What a wonderful car dealership to work with. I was in need of a compact car because I have high anxiety over driving so nothing too big. John, the salesman helped me pick out the best car to fit my driving needs. I’m so comfortable in the Toyota Corolla and it drives smoothly. The repair/service center was located in the same location as the dealership in Evanston. That is no longer the case.When I called to schedule maintenance in my car I was not notified of that.I drove to the Evanston dealership and then I realized that I was going to have to chance my plans for that day as I had to drive to the repair center, the person I spoke to at the dealership could not understand why I was upset and was in fact confrontational.When I finally arrived to the repair center I had to wait almost an hour before I was given an estimate and was told that the repair center was going to be open the next day (Saturday) until 7PMWhen I returned the next day around 6PM the repair center was open, I walked into the office and the space where the cars are kept but there was nobody around. I walked back to where my wife was waiting for me in the parking lot and she told me that the website said the repair center closed at 5 not at 7.I could not get my car until Monday afternoon.I have been a Nissan costumer for over a decade. My previous interactions at Nissan were pleasant but I am very disappointed at the lack of communication. professionalism and costumer care that I experience from my latest visit at Nissan.
Team was very helpful and made it easy to understand the repairs my car needed. When we realized I would have to leave early to make an appointment, the team gave me a complimentary rental car so I could go about my day. My car is already performing so much better and the team was able to find me savings with a coupon and a reminder that I actually had an extended warrantee! All in, I was able to save $550.
Took my car in for a key fob that wouldnt work. Got updated few hours later that ECM ( computer unit) was needed and would be overnighted by Nissan.Was never offered a loaner and my car was kept for 3 days. (Fri-Mon)Called 3 times Sat morning and never got the manager Tommy to call me back. Had to go in on Monday morning just to be told they just got the ECM unit and were gonna work on it. Still no loaner at that point. Got my car at noon and will never be back.
Buying a used car at Autobarn Nissan was a super-easy and even joyful experience. Eric F was attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful in all respects. He even jumped the battery on my ancient trade-in! And Robert H made filling out the financial paperwork painless. I will definitely return for my future car needs.
My most recent experience at The Autobarn Nissan was wonderful. Every encounter with an employee was kind and genuine. The salesman that assisted me was John. John was patient, helpful, knowledgable, friendly, and determined to help find me my very first car. He was able to provide me facts about the Nissan Altima that I did not know and allowed me to explore the different options presented. He also made sure I would be receiving the best deal. When dealing with the finances aspect, I was able to work with Lewis. Lewis broke down the plan, warranty, and finances so I would be able to understand all aspects of what I was purchasing.I can easily say that I am so happy I have purchased my first car and Nissan at the The Autobarn. They are extremely helpful, hardworking, insightful and even made the experience swift/fun. While all receiving the best packages/plans for my big purchase. Thank you!
I have never done a review before, because I’ve never been blown away before. I just leased a car from The Autobarn Nissan of Evanston. My salesman was Kendrick and it was the easiest most pleasant experience from a car dealer in my life. What usually is something between a drug deal, or sweating out an individual in “the box” till they just give!!! This was nothing like that. I called on the phone and spoke to Kendrick who was incredibly helpful, polite and found me the car I wanted, a 2020 Nissan Leaf SL fully loaded. My current car was a 2018 Nissan Leaf, that still had 3 lease payments left. Kendrick said don’t worry about that and a week later John delivered my new car to my office and spent an hour going over all of the new features with me. He even contacted me at 9pm at night to notify me that he got me registered on the Nissan App to control the car from my phone. My payment went down $100 per month due to a huge rebate from Nissan and I never even visited the dealership. I signed most of the documents on-line and John brought the new car to my office and took my old car back with him. Incredible... This is probably my 12th or 14th new car purchase/lease and I actually ENJOYED buying this car. Both Kendrick and John were so professional, helpful and friendly even after the sale, just so my experience was great and that’s why I spent the time to write this review. They just bought my loyalty going forward... look how easy it is to create a customer for life. Kudos to making the purchase of a car something to look forward too, and not dreaded. Dominique and John both helped me with the purchase of my car. They made the process so easy. The car was waiting in front for me when I arrived and I was able to test drive it on my own while Dominique evaluated my trade in. The whole process was smooth and easy. The car was even delivered to my house and John went over all the features with me. I really appreciate when people are straightforward and respectful of my time. This review would have been 5 stars had I not felt so defeated by the end of my purchase. I purchased a used Nissan Murano at the end of last year from this location. The car is fantastic and the price was great too. However, when I arrived, they increased the price by nearly $2000 online while I was sitting in their office. I called it out and they showed me the website, where they increased the price. Luckily, I screenshot the price before coming in and they said that they could adjust it to come down to make the deal. I expected car salesperson upselling, but I wasnt expecting them to treat me like an idiot. I work in sales, I know greed when I see it. Had this not happened, I would have been very happy with the service.
To be clear, any person or dealership that practices and deceived customers should be held accountable and reported for predatory violations, which I have submitted already. It was my first time visiting and interacting with this dealership, and due to their handling of my visit, it was my last. I pre-arranged an online service appointment at Nissans request to have an open and unresolved safety recall addressed with my hood latch on a 2014 Altima. Along with having their complimentary 27 point inspection offered via their websites service center.Upon arriving and speaking with someone to reiterate my visit, I verbally communicated back my request to have those two items submitted online checked out and nothing more. Two hours later, after waiting in the service lounge, I received a text from this dealership stating they needed me to review and approve/deny services to be performed. Upon opening the texted link to the service report of my vehicle, it started towards the top that I had authorized for an oil change and tire rotation in the $80+ range. I walked over to the service center desk and spoke to someone sitting there and asked them why I had been charged for a service I did not ask for and was never verbally communicated to me. This person asked me did I or did not sign the iPad with my signature. I said yes, but the iPads screen was rolled down to where I could only see the sign portion, and the service person had covered up what apparently had services selected I did not ask for. I stated that I would not pay for a service that I did not expressly ask for, nor did the vehicle need as this same service had been performed back on 4/1 by another dealership.The person at the service counter who asked me whether I signed to this service said they would need to speak with their assistant manager. Some time goes by before this person comes to meet me in the service lounge and state that he himself is going to pay for the service performed and that I would not be charged. I reiterated that while I could understand him saying this, it did not address the fact that no way approved such service to be performed; no, was I liable for whatever happened. As the person walked away, they turned around and stated, well; there was no way of knowing if that dealership used genuine Nissan parts and oils, so it was of benefit to me. As if that was some form of justification for trying to guilt a customer into paying for services they did not need or want. More time goes by again, and the person who checked me in and signed me up for this service states my car is ready and hands me my key. They state that the dealership performed an oil change at no charge as a courtesy in a condescending tone as they walk away.All in all, I was there over 3.5 hours for what should have been less than 1 hour in total based on comparable service-related times and contacting another Nissan dealership. I want to note 3 other customers there who were frustrated and verbally expressed their concern about handling their vehicles to service center employees.

Learn from my mistake. Don’t go here to purchase a car. They are all friendly and profesional with you on the surface but will lie and mislead you. They used a bait and switch tactic on me, told me there was a Nissan rebate for a car when there wasn’t, and told me I had to finance to qualify for the rebate that didn’t exist. When I arrived I explained I had to leave at a certain time and they agreed we could complete the deal. But I didn’t get the car until 45 mins after the time I needed to leave... and the car had smudged windows and the tire pressure warning was on for three tires. And when I got home the roof had scratches I didn’t see before. This was supposed to be a new car.And fwiw, I really didn’t want to write this review. I reached out to the sales manager twice but never heard back. I even completed the satisfaction surveys and waited a couple weeks, but still didn’t hear anything. Don’t go here.Edit in response to dealers comments...I did not threaten to write a bad review if they didn’t write me a check. I asked to return the car or refund me the money I overpaid for it. It was not contingent on writing a review. Look, I can live with over paying. I own that. What I’m upset about is being lied to. There was no Nissan rebate for the car, as I was told. So I did not have to finance it (as I was told I had to) to receive the price that I did.And I’m glad you got my email the following day. But I never would have known that because you never responded. I did thank you the following day and wanted to follow up regarding the car cleaning you promised. This was before I checked the taxes paid and realized there was no rebate and I did not have to finance the car as I was told. That’s why I’m upset - I was lied to. This is no longer worth my time and won’t deal w you’re dealership again. I probably should have filed a complaint with the attorney generals office. At this point I’m just hoping to forget about this buying experience and move on.
Excellent service!!!! We arrived three minutes before closing and everyone was willing to help my sister find her car. She was able to test drive her car. Very impressive for a used car. Eric, Chris, and the sales managers were very helpful and patient in finding my sister the right deal for her. Joe and Marcel over in the service department were extremly helpful in working with my Allstate Adjuster to get my vehicle back up and running like new following an encounter with a city pothole. They kept me informed of any updates and costs associate with the repairs. This is why I always bring in my vehicle to be serviced at the dealer where I purchased it. Great car buying experience! John Adamidis Is not just a great salesman he is a great people person. We bonded on the phone even before I met him. He was happy to talk about pricing & APR with me. We worked out what I could afford after a down payment. And Martin really helped me learn about the car with the Nissan app which I am finding is extremely helpful. Very good personal care. Shana was outstanding in keeping me advised of my cars progress and what needed to be done. However I expected to spend a lot less than I did. Im wondering if I should have checked with other mechanics to get their price. I WILL do that next time. It is known tha dealers charge more than others.
Ive never been a big fan of dealerships since they always do their best to screw you over but this dealer here is the best. The salesman Henry got me a smoking deal that i couldnt be happier with. He was a very professional and friendly person, made the buying process so much easier and quicker, he makes sure you are comfortable with what you are buying and gives you the best deals, never pushed me into purchasing a vehicle. I was in and out of the dealer in less than 2 hours. Also the finance manager Alex was a great help as well. I had a lot of money left on my trade to pay but he still somehow managed to get me very good interest rate and very low monthly payments. If you want to get a very good car that is in good shape and you dont want to get screwed over on your deal by other dealers this is the place for you!!! Would definitely keep on buying cars from them from now on. Great staff and great customer service skills. Highly recommended!!!

They are super good to you once you are buying a car but forget after that. Also it seems their finance department is busiest in the world. Took 10 days of reaching to get hold of someone. Made me come to the dealership saing signatures required. Turned out nothing was needed apart from some proof that I had sent right away using email.Seemed pretty confused and not at all helpful.

Well worth the trip as i came from the Indianapolis-Area after finding a great deal on a vehicle at their lot. Vehicle was as-advertised on their site and after the test drive I could tell the price was spot-on. Sam and John (and a female finance manager whose name I cant recall) walked me through the purchase and were very personable, professional, and knowledgeable. They not only stayed past their closing time on a Saturday to button up the deal for me (sorry guys) but were also able to personalize a fair deal that worked out well due to the spur of the moment purchase. Would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a used/new vehicle. I am very disappointed with their handling of my service to my Rear camera instillation. As a business owner, I pride companies that stand behind their products and work. Problem occur from time to time, thats the nature of the business but what make great companies stand apart from the average run of the Mill is their commitment to customer satisfaction. Ive been trying to get my rear camera fixed for over an year and they finally requested me to come in and have it fixed, cause they could not remember or find the company they had install it when I purchased my NV2500. To my surprise I was asked to pay $300+ to have it repaired. Lets see! I paid $600 Originally for the rear camera that stop working after 3months (when I first requested to have it to be fixed) and now you want me to pay another $300 when already paid for a camera that doesnt work, Please! Instead of giving them a grand total of $900+, I informed the service rep of the situation that they were fully aware of it because of the notes in the system. They informed me that there was nothing that They could do, Really! Ok there is something that I can do, stop spend money with Nissan and tell all my Frat Brothers, Family, and Customers. Bad business practices. I spent Over $65,000 with you a year ago plus I referred two customers that purchased a van and a car, and you lost a customer and Potential customers for $300. Good Luck!
We had a pretty good experience with Autobarn Nissan. They were willing to negotiate with us a bit. All the staff members did a great job in making us feel comfortable, but were not as pushy as other dealerships, which was nice.We we not aware that it was going to take 5+ hours to get a deal signed, but perhaps that was on us because we came in on the last day of the month. Seems like a very busy day for them.We dealt with Marco on the sales team. He was super friendly and helpful. Answered all our questions and helped us get the price we wanted.We worked with Mikki in on the finance team and he was also very helpful. There were a few clerical errors that caused our paperwork to take longer than expected, but overall, he got us out of there as soon as he could.Thank you to the team for making it a great experience.

I am partially to blame - I did know better than to waste my time on a Nissan and to visit a dealership that was evasive about out-the-door pricing before I visited. But IDK why anyone would buy a vehicle here. Its nearly impossible to do any sort of realistic test drive unless one only does city driving at ~30mph. They also advertised a price on a used Nissan Leaf that turned out to be conditional upon financing through Nissan AND did not include a required warranty at over $1000. I dont even know why I wasted my time with Nissan at all when I should have gone straight to Tesla. I sort of feel bad for Neil, the salesperson I interacted with online initially and was supposed to meet; but despite being friendly once I met him, he wasnt even around when I showed up and we had discussed my visit on a phone call about less than an hour in advance.

The Autobarn Nissan Service Department has again provided honest, excellent service. A week or so after doing some maintenance work on my car, my husband reported the car did not start, and thought it was the battery. I called, explained the problem to Chris, and he was able to fit me into the schedule that day. John checked me in, listened to my story, reviewed the history of service performed on the car, and gave me an estimated time for the work to be done. At that time John informed me there was no problem with the battery. He gave me a printout of the battery check results, and his thought on what caused my car not to start. I was told when the car would be ready and drove away in a car that had just been washed and no problems starting it. I have never been disappointed with The Autobarn Nissan Service Department, their judgments, recommendations or work. Thank you once again.
I went in to purchase a used vehicle and sales person Sam Levin was super knowledgeable and helpful with any questions about the car. The dealer had no issues with allowing me to take the car to my mechanic to be thoroughly looked over. They then agreed to a bargain of a price for the car and stayed late to help close the deal. But what really set this dealership apart was the compassion the general manager Sam Mustafa had when I came in the next morning to return the car due to personal issues. He very easily could have stuck me with the car and sent me on my way, but he understood, and allowed me to get out of the purchase. I dont know of many or any other dealerships that would have that type of customer service. I highly recommend this dealer and I know that when I am ready to purchase again, this is the first dealership I will visit!
We have bought two used cars from The Autobarn in the past month and have been happy with the sales experience and our vehicles. The salesmen, Alex and Harmin, were both very helpful and patient. The customer service here is pretty amazing.We did have a problem with one of our vehicles upon taking possession of it. Our salesman very kindly put some gas in the vehicle prior to our leaving the dealership. On the ride home, there was an overwhelming smell of gas fumes in the cabin of our new car. It was quite late at the time, so we returned the vehicle to the dealership the next morning. It turns out the fuel pump was leaking gasoline. The sales department manager, Jon, VERY quickly and apologetically assured us they would make it right and ensure the vehicle was repaired. They actually sent the vehicle to their new Volvo dealership (the vehicle was a Volvo) to have it fixed and offered us a vehicle to use in the meantime.I feel confident that this dealership is honest and trustworthy, and will do whatever they need to do in order to make your car buying experience a positive one.
I just bought a used car at the store.Worked with Jay. He was great to work with. He was very professional as well as a warm person. On more then one occasions he went beyond our expectations, to meet us at a time it worked for our familys crazy schedules. Last month I purchased an Audi Q5 from this lot. As I drove it home I got an oil pressure warning light. I took it back the next day, they confirmed the problem had been fixed. The other day On my way home from the car shut off on the E way Had to tow it home. Not even going to contact them again dont trust them at all.

I’m in love with my car, and happy with the buying experience.At the end of the day, these guys show customers great respect and provide great service. Abdul is the best salesman I’ve dealt with - he cares about his customers. Miki, the GM, is honest and sticks to his word. If you’re speaking a different language, he’ll probably know it.I got great deal and all my needs were met. Everyone from the finance manager to the service technicians are awesome. I’ve dealt with some really terrible, pushy salesman, but not here. I’ll almost certainly be purchasing my next vehicle from them as well.
I had an outstanding experience at this dealership. Before going in I was skeptical that I was going to overpay for the car I liked but I was surprised with the treatment I received. My salesman Max put me at ease. By spending time online finding comparable Sentras with exactly the features I wanted. He was good at listening to my needs. Even showed me why other cars didnt have what I wanted. It was like he was working for me not against me. I would definitely go back to them and recommend them to everyone. A young man named Oscar helped me choose the perfect car for me, a Nissan Altima. He was kind and negotiated the price without being too aggressive. Had my car worked on there. The service guy, Chris, was very helpful and guided me through the process. I’m not much with cars, so having Chris’ help was what I look for in a mechanic.He told me about what I needed done now and what I would need in the future. It nice that he was able to anticipate when my brakes would be due, as well as other worn parts.I’d definitely recommend Chris at the AutoBarn for those who like to look ahead and anticipate future costs.

I have been taking my Nissan Altima to the Autobarn Nissan in Evanston since I bought it in 2009. I keep on using them as my car mechanics because they always take excellent care of my care.Don Mekoola is the person that works with me. He is thorough and diligent, and he takes the time to explain the needed work once the car has been inspected. When we talk about what needs to be done, I always trust his recommendations. Once we agree on what is going to be done, he has always given me an accurate estimation of when the car will be ready, and has kept me informed of how the work is coming along. The car has been ready on time, cleaned and ready to be taken to the road.I am mostly a short distance city driver, but we do take a long road trip once a year, and it is very good to feel safe in driving a well serviced car. Even for city driving, Chicago can have challenging weather. I rely on my car to get me where I need to go in a safely manner, and I rely on the Autobarn Nissan in Evanston to keep it in good shape. While the customer service I received from Tony at the dealership was excellent, I am disappointed in the dealerships expectation management. I wanted to purchase, cut, and program a new key FOB for my Nissan. I was quoted $290 over the phone (they took the time to gather the information necessary for the quote over the phone - make, model, VIN, etc) but when I arrived the following day the cost was $332, a 15% increase. Thats a shady business practice, plain and simple. I will pay a premium for a job well done. I dont want to feel lied to.
I had a great experience working with Oscar on a lease for a 2016 maxima SR. Knowing how dealerships usually like playing games with you, I decided to contact a few dealerships to compare and contrast pricing. Not only did Oscar help me get the best deal on the car I wanted, he helped make the whole process very smooth. After we agreed on the pricing, I went into the dealership the next day to sign the paperwork and pick up the vehicle. Not only was Oscar great but Martin did a great job in explaining all the amazing features of the maxima. When my lease is up, theyll definitely have a return customer.
First time working with Autobarn and it was quite a pleasant experience. From working with the internet team (Anesa), salesperson (Luis) and finance manager (Jackie). All were great through the process. I even got a chance to meet a service rep (Barry). Unfortunately the reason I had to provide a 3 star review was the 2017 Pathfinder I had just purchased, had turn signal switch (canceller) issues. I did mention this to Luis on our test drive I was told the Nissan techs were going to check it out and have it fixed before I left with the vehicle. I must say I do wish the vehicle would have been thoroughly inspected to catch this and repair on the front end before being presented and sold. Nonetheless, Autobarn has their tech team looking into the matter to make this right and resolve. Looking forward to working with the Autobarn team on this mysterious repair. The other occurrence was just prior to delivery, I was only presented with one remote key fob (usually receive 2, especially on a vehicle that is less than 10 months old on the road). With that being said, the dealer would not provide a second remote, causing me to have to purchase and then have it programmed. I would gladly give the extra stars to make it a 5 upon completion of the repairs, and remote key set up. Thanks
Helped my mother purchase a new car at The Autobarn Nissan. From the minute we walked into the dealership we were greeted by the general manager and was introduced to our sales associate Eric Fragassi. Eric was so helpful and took the time with my 80 year old mother to explain in detail the features of the car she was interested in before and during the test drive. Eric was a pleasure to work with and took the time to answer questions and went out of his way to find her the car she wanted (literally rolled off the truck less than an hour before we arrived) and within the price range that worked for her.We had such a great experience from beginning to end. Everyone she worked with was so friendly and accomodating it made buying a new car a great experience.

They listened to our needs, worked hard to meet those needs, and facilitated the buying process very well. We will certainly shop Autobarn Nissan of Evanston again in the future.
I went to autobarn Nissan of Evanston and had sales man MO, a young man that was very helpful and willing to answer all my questions and concerns. Mo was very polite and patient ; a great customer service rep that knows the rope of his trade. The only issue i had was the boss that had a very condescending attitude. He did not like my price for the car and let me know it in a very rude manner. how can you come here with a price like that? he asked in a hash rude tone and pointed another very less car to me as the car i shld be asking to buy. if he had been nice, i wld have spent the money i did plan on spending cos of his sales man Mo. I still ended up buying the car from another dealer within that price range.
I and my wife came in to look for an electric vehicle. My salepersons were Eric and John and they were very courteous and patient with all our questions regarding the car. They made the visit very comfortable and stress-free. We are very happy with the service and the deal we received. We were there for a few hours and Eric even bought us lunch.

He showed us the vehicle of our choice, Nissan Quest, and he was very professional and kind throughout the whole process. He worked with us, answered all our questions and made us feel very comfortable.Comparing to what other dealers offered us for our trade in (Star Nissan, Martin Nissan), his offer was more than fair and on the top of that he gave a good discount on the vehicle we wanted to purchase.Unfortunately for us, we took a day to consider the offer and the car was sold by the time we called back the very next day.I would highly recommend this dealership, as well as Alan, to anyone who is looking into buying a new or used vehicle!I know we will revisit them soon.
Bought a 2014 Nissan Versa here 30 days ago. Folks at sales were nice enough.Low rating comes from the fact that I have had to have the car serviced TWICE so far, with repairs totalling over three months worth of payments. None were under warranty, of course.Do your research, examine their cars very carefully, and remember that a salespersons goal isnt to set you up with a good car, their goal is to make a sale regardless of the quality of the vehicle.
I get my car’s service done at Autobarn Nissan because of Chris Fasco. I’m not one to write reviews often, but his customer service never ceases to impress me and deserves to be recognized. In the past, I avoided going to dealerships, but Chris is very knowledgeable in their products and guides me in the right direction. I know that I’m in good hands when I leave my car at this service center.
Do not purchase a new car at this dealership!!!Dont purchase a warranty with them because they will unprofessionally find a reason to not cover any single thing or defect on your car, even if you have a warranty for 6 years or 60k miles, or God forbid extended warranty with them.I have multiple reasons to write this review, and hopefully people will read it.If you have a crack on engine, axle problem, steering box, compressor, transmission problem they will not cover you!!!!Very unprofessional and good organized group of people who will do just everything to make you pay and scam you.

Recently bought a Nissan Rogue on July 3rd, and the sales staff (Jose) was courteous, knowledgeable, and worked with us to get the car we wanted for a great price.UPDATE: Ive lowered my review from 5 stars to 2. The dealership still has not given us the 2nd car key more than a month after the car has been purchased. They have not been in communication and we keep having to call and keep the process moving.
After visiting several dealerships without much success, I came to this one to lease a new vehicle. I had very specific requirements and I knew what I wanted, and because of my previous experiences, I thought that I had to compromise some of them and downgrade my desired vehicles model. Well, thanks to Henry Dzafic and his manager, I got an upgraded version of what I wanted with a cost that fitted my budget. The vehicle was not in their inventory, neither in that of any dealer in the area, so he drove over 400 miles to get it, going above and beyond to satisfy his customer. Worked closely with Eldin for a month at Autobarn Nissan (looking for GT-R). He was extremely helpful and never overbearing - he always checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly in my decision-making process, regardless of what car/dealership I was looking toward. Obviously, the necessary price negotiation process took place (and thats always a little stressful), but we finally made a good deal and I have nothing but good things to say about Eldin and Autobarn Nissan. This is the most honest dealership Ive ever been to and I purchase six cars over my lifetime. The staff was so friendly helpful and patient and special shout out to Marius for saving us additional money in the financing Department. We came from Milwaukee Wisconsin and it was very well worth the drive. This is the only car dealership that will get my business from now on.
I purchased my vehicle in March and I did not have time to write about my experience until now. I was greeted by a younger sales associate by the name of Oscar. Knowing the bad reputation that car dealerships have, I was weary about the whole car shopping experience, but I couldnt have been more wrong. Oscar has a very calm and understanding approach to what your needs are and made the shopping experience wonderful. He helped me pick out a brand new Nissan Sentra with all the options that I desired. Ill definitely recommend him to friends and family in the future.
This was my first time having my 2014 Maxima serviced at this Nissan dealership. Upon entering I was promptly greeted by Service Advisor Chris Fasco and he quickly signed me in and clarified the issues I was experiencing with my car. He suggested a great local breakfast place for me to kill some time in. Throughout the morning he kept me informed of the progress of my car repairs and when it was time for me to check out he lead me to the cashier instead of leaving me to find my own way. My car was parked right out front and had been washed! The technician left detailed notes of the diagnostics performed and what maintenance was performed. The bill was itemized and easy to understand. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I will definitely bring my car back to this dealership for further servicing.
Dont buy from Autobarn in Evanston if you want good service! It starts with the receptionist who answers the phone (Nissan) and she is very rude and uncooperative. I bought a SUV there 2 years ago and they make it really difficult to even get simple answers. They SOLD me a Paint Guard protection plan, but trying to get an appointment scheduled or information on this $500 add-on is very difficult. I also got the Dent repair service, but the dent repair tech refused to fix a small dent because HE was not sure if he could do it properly? so why sell a product that cant be serviced! The salesman also sold me a 2014 Lexus with NO floor mats, but tells me this after the sale!! Very poor experience and I would definitely shop around before buying anything from the Autobarn Dealers in Evanston - they are not interested in anything after the sale. I would give 0 stars if that was possible. Disappointing the typical reaction when trying to work with this company. I give up trying - they dont care
The team at the Autobarn Nissan of Evanston is so amazing, I just had to leave a review. Rarely have I ever seen such a great level of cusome service. From the day I bought my car from Ado (the greatest salesman ever) to yesterday when I went for my first inspection, everyone has just been so professional, friendly and concerned with my satisfaction more than with anything else. It really is refreshing to have people dedicated to their customers like that. Great job guys!
What can I say that everyone hasnt said already? Great experience great deals, you get treated like family. Especially from Bruce, Nater, Hitko the list goes on and on. I came in to purchase one vehicle but it was such a good deal that I figured why not, let me trade my older vehicle in and get another for myself. Hitko especially helped me out the most and was great with understanding with what I wanted and where I wanted to be at with my financing & he made it work! Cant thank you guys enough. I brought my vehicle to this dealership and was greeted right away from the service manager himself, Marcel. He was super polite and was very knowledgeable about my car. This was my first maintenance for my GT-R and Marcel put me at ease assuring my car was in great hands. The car was done on promised time and I will for sure be bringing my car back to get serviced again!
I took my car in to fix the steering wheel alignment and check on my rear wheel after hitting a pothole. I called first and was told it should take about an hour and cost 99.95, so I scheduled an appointment. When I arrived, they did not have my appointment in the system and quoted me $150 to inspect the car and do the repair if necessary. I was then told it would take 2-3 hours to inspect the car and in that time, they would do the adjustment if needed. I3 hours later, I checked in with the service advisor and was told that they had discovered what was wrong and would start fixing the alignment soon. They also showed me a deep gash in one of my tires and said it was just cosmetic damage. I was assured that it was just cosmetic damage and should not have any effect on the life of the tire. 4 hours from when I arrived, I was finally able to leave with just a simple steering/wheel alignment.The next day, I took my car to two places who each spent less than 1 minute looking at my tire and declared it not safe for the road because the gash had reached the steel belts of the side wall. After discovering this, I called the service department and asked to speak with the manager. After explaining what happened to the manager and how both other places said I should not drive the vehicle (the second place convinced me to stick the spare on), the manager hung up on me.So to recap, this place could not schedule my appointment, kept me there 4 times longer than quoted, and let me drive away with a potentially dangerous tire.
Eric Fragassi was our salesman at Autobarn Nissan. We were a walk-in and he had taken care of us very well. He helped my daughter make the right decision and gave us the time to do so. His sales manager, John, was very helpful too and allowed us to make the right decision. I would go back as a repeat customer and refer other family there. Thanks Eric!
I had been going to the Autobarn for YEARS before moving out of state for a while. But once I moved back to the Chicagoland area, my car needed service. Even though theyve moved locations, theres no other place Id go than to Autobarn Nissan of Evanston because I trust their work and their customer service is top notch.
I have to admit, I am not typically impressed by Service centers at car dealerships. They usually have a very entitled attitude. But I have been amazed by the excellent service from The Autobarn. Ever since we bought our new Leaf last spring, they have been excellent. Today, Don Mekoola in the service department got my vehicle in and out quickly and went above and beyond what I had hoped in terms of taking care of me and my car. Its places like this that set a great example for the languishing service industry these days. Good job, guys!
I had the best buying experience ever ! Monica, the sales person was really patient with me . I wanted first a car that her dealer had in the inventory but they sold it that day so I ended up buying a car from the store across the street still Autobarn dealership! She came with me and was able to get me the best deal within my budget and a car that I love!!! I will recommend this dealership to my friends and family ! 5 stars for best sales person Monica !!
Saw a car online, called and was given an out of doors cash price of 14.5K including all taxes and fees, scheduled an appointment to see the car, had an hour long uber ride in a jammed traffic on Lake Shore Drive to get there, surprised with the price being up to almost 16K, ended up not buying the car. Dealers, you got to be more of transparent!It wasnt all bad though! the one star Im giving, is because not buying that car was a bless, I ended up buying the same trim with a sporty look and extremely low mileage (900+) from a different dealer for a very very decent price. Thank God!
Extremely friendly and accommodating staff when I brought in my flat tire to be repaired. They found the cause of my flat, repaired my tire and sent me on my way at no charge! Ive had nothing but great service from Autobarn and will continue to have my truck serviced through them.

Would give more stars if I could - all around great experience. There were a few Covid bumps in the road but they stepped up to make everything awesome. I had a bad/good experience with the Auto-barn.Ill start with the bad first: I financed my new Versa through the auto-barn and the fiance guy told me I had to get the extended warranty and the gap insurance in order to get a low interest rate (I have so-so credit). My fiance and I questioned this and the finance guy assured us this was the only way. Tired and not wanting an argument, we signed the contract and left with the car. However, once we got home we did some research and found out this was a scam. I wasnt pleased because even though I could cancel the warranties, it wouldnt lower my monthly payment.Now the good: After speaking with the general sales manager and my salesperson, Alex, who were both WONDERFUL, they ripped up my old contract, removed the discounts, and gave me a new contract sans the warranties and thus with a lower monthly payment. They were even so accommodating that they brought the new contract to my work so I didnt have to go back to the dealer.Verdict: If you shop at Auto barn, come with your own financing. If not, make sure to contact the general sales manager if something doesnt seem right about your pricing. He will try and make sure you leave happy.
Great, smooth experience with Monica! My mother and I walked out of here on Black Friday with the vehicle we had our eye on for a great deal! Monica was very personable, honest, easy-going, and had great customer service skills. We learned that it was only her 2nd day at work (she came with experience from Mazda) and we were here first customers, which made it more memorable for both parties! We were so pleased with the service and how courteous Monica was (and not pushy about trying to sell a car like most salesmen), we will be back next month with a family friend! I would highly recommend Monica when youre ready to purchase a vehicle!

Bought a new Kicks over the weekend. Everyone there was great. Larry Wolfe was friendly, helpful and easy to deal with. Martin took lots of time with me explaining how all the systems work. Everyone I encountered was great. This isnt the first car I bought from Larry and I dont think it will be the last.
Wonderful service experience on my Nissan Rogue. I brought my car into Don with a list of concerns (a small recall, routine check up, and some funny noises) and he took great care of me. He got the recall and check up done and then called me after his mechanics couldnt diagnose the funny noise. He said they couldnt recreate it and gave me a list of options of what to do which I really appreciated. Ultimately, I chose the option to deal with the noise (which isnt always occurring) and he told me to give him a call if it acts up again. I could drive my car into the shop and immediately take someone out for a drive so they can hear the noise. Fantastic customer service, thanks Don!
Ended up buying a car from Nissan Autobarn after going to all the nearby Nissan Dealerships. They were honest about their pricing and I appreciated the Professionalism of Mateen as a Sales Rep and as well as Leo the manager. They worked with my budget and didnt waste a minute of my time. The Autobarn Nissan Service department provides exceptional service. My last visit with Don Mekoola serves as a great example. One of the most striking thing about the visit is the friendly greeting when you drive into the service bay. Don quickly checks out my Sentras service history, inquires about any recent car issues, and recommends the appropriate service requirements. Previously, Barry recommended evaluating and/or repairing rear brakes, so that was a priority item. Since I had been prepared, the cost was not a surprise and very reasonable. During the visit, Don informed about the service progress and additional service recommendations. The servicing was performed in a reasonable time. The visit ended with information concerning future service follow-up issues. I plan to keep my Sentra for a long time and look forward to my next visit, as Don and other mgrs are looking out for me (and my car). Thanks guys.
I know very little about vehicles and all that is required to properly maintain my vehicle(Sad but true). I stumbled into Autobarn Nissan since I was driving by just to inquire on how much it will be to get my 2008 Nissan Maxima back to its original state. I wasnt expecting to spend money that day nor was I prepared to. I had just gone in to see what was wrong. However, I was pleasantly surprised when a friendly and helpful gentleman by the name of Alex Cook went above and beyond to assist me and educate me on what needed to be done. I ended up getting my service done right there on the spot even though the Autobarn was not my original dealership! Now my car is ready for another 100K miles thanks to, Mr. Alex Cook. The price was fair and the helpfulness of the staff was beyond what I was expecting. My service will be done at the Autobarn Evanston from this day forth.Thanks!
The best dealership in the statesthe autobarn nissan my salesman MATEEN ABDUL the most genuine, funny and the most honest person and knowledgeable guy i met, he made me feel at ease and with outmost comfort sold me a car and made me feel at home. The general manager miki was amazing and gave me an amazing deal i couldnt refuse (no hidden fees no extra stuff) everything was done professionaly. Randy, the service advisor (overall ratings: 0) This is my first car and i purchased my another car last year from Autobarn Nissan on Evanston. Last week, i left my Nissan Altima because i was noticing water leakage on the right side (front and back) of my car. I explained all my problems to him. Similarly, he had different info. on my profile and i asked him to change my number. After leaving my car for 5 days, he called me stating my car is ready. I went to the dealership and made the payment($149 for the water leakage) before entering to my car. When i went to my car, water leakage was still there. And i immediately called him and he even noticed that it hasnt been fixed yet. He went to call the mechanic(Arturo). After his presence, randy started telling that it is a moisture, no the leakage. Arturo was helpful and he even said he will look towards my car if i got the same problem after driving after few days. I was pretty much sure, the advisor was not doing what he was suppose to. He blamed one of my buddy who came to Chicago on the same day and he was with me at that moment to pick up my car, saying that he talked with him on the phone. Randy is truly not a good advisor. Having someone like him on Nissan Dealer is going to bring huge negative impacts on their business.Due to the leakage i had to leave my car today again (06/01/2017, Thursday) and Don (service advisor) said that he will call me on Saturday to make sure about the problem. I am pretty sure, this will be my last visit on that location. Similarly, i am regretting that i referred my family members to buy vehicles from that place. In order to have my ac leakage fixed, i had to leave my car for more than a week, its been a waste of my time and i wont be going to Autobarn Nissan on Evanston. I would like to request the responsible department to examine and take a possible action for the service that your service advisor have been providing to you customers. This dealership do not deserve even a single star
Trying to work with this company literally stressed me out! I started working with Alex who seemed great then I was passed off to Monica. I dont know how many times she told me she was going to check into something and call me back. She literally never checked into anything we discussed and never called me back. I had to keep calling her to follow up. I live in Michigan, I have purchased numerous cars in different states and have never had such a difficult time. Finally we decided to run the credit check as she told me she could more then likely get a better rate then my credit union. I told her at least 6 times the only way I would do it is they pull my credit ONE time for Nissan financing only. She assured me they would. Well I just checked my credit today and they pulled it 3 times. Very very annoyed by this! To top it off after trying to communicate with her for 12 hours and asking if they would take a small Amt of money to hold the car until Tuesday as this was the soonest I could get there I was told at the end of the day they dont hold cars but if I wanted to give them the $2000 down payment they would take it off the lot as sold but this would be non refundable. Why on earth would I give them 2000 for a car I havent even seen or driven yet. I have no idea if it would fit my standards in person and have no idea how it drives. This is absolutely crazy! So basically after the huge run around, crazy BS of the down payment and now seeing they assured me they wouldnt run my credit more then once and lied about it I would never do business with them. There are 1000s of used car dealers who are by far easier to deal with and who dont lie to you.
The experience I had was great because of the service I received from Don Mekoola. He took care of my car and presented any issues to be address with knowledge and professionalism. While I got the price I wanted on my vehicle, I found the post-sale experience to be highly disorganized. At one point my contract was misplaced and I was required to provide my diploma several different times to different people in order to receive a Recent Grad rebate.If you absolutely want a vehicle from the Autobarn, try to work with Moe (Sales) and Katy (Finance). They seem to be the best there.
I had just purchased a car in February and it was totaled in a hit and run in April. The process of car shopping, dealing with the insurance company, car rental, lender etc can be stressful. After visiting a few shady dealerships in Chicago I finally found Autobarn Nissan Evanston. Raven confirmed my appointment. She was friendly, professional and answered a few questions I had. My sales rep Abdul Mateen was easy going, understood my urgency and was able to answer all my detailed questions. The manager Mirsuad stepped in and went above and beyond to make sure the financing was within in my budget. There was an emergency with the person in the Financing office so they called Marius to come in last minute. He literally came in from the beach (still in shorts) to help me with the final paperwork. Mateen helped me drop off my rental car and transfer my belongings to the new vehicle (I had just collected them from auto body shop). It’s tough shopping for a car alone. The staff here never once made me feel pressured or taken advantage of. I am so grateful I found them and will recommend them to everyone.

I had a car with negative equity and it was falling apart no longer worth the amount I still owed. I came here looking to see if I could get saved from this and they paired me with the perfect person. Eddie worked hard and quickly to find a solution to my problem and get me in a reliable car and he did just that in under 3 hours!! Fastest car buying experience and my note is still at a price I can handle. I would defiantly come see Eddie again when its time for a new ride.
Just bought a car at the Autobarn. After spending a considerable amount of time visiting various Nissan dealerships in the city and suburbs I have concluded the this location has best to offer in terms of quality of cars for sale, as well as how cars prepared, detailed and serviced before they are shown to the customers. I got a decent price and I liked working with the sales person- Roy. His knowledge and dedication to customer service are exceptional. In my experience even in In the best of circumstances car buying can be stressful, at least when you work with Roy and purchase at the Autobarn you know that you will not leave the store without being happy, and well taken care of, and that is priceless! This dealership does not try to accommodate its customers. We traveled 160 miles to purchase a 2017 Nissan Armada and were treated very poorly. They advised us to have a cup of coffee or hot chocolate while we waited for the sales person who wasnt present at the time of our appointment. The coffee/hot chocolate machine was empty. Since we were out of state, the title had to be sent to us after our payments cleared (reasonable), but they were insistent on shipping it via UPS which is unreliable in our city and usually involves an 10 mile trip to pick up the document. Although we paid over $30,000 for the vehicle and didnt negotiate on the price, they were unwilling to send the title via FEDEX which works much better for us. If you utilize this dealership, I would get every small detail in writing since they really dont care about you after they get your money.

Sam levin and Dominique have helped me get a wonderful altima. They were very efficient. The car is great and we got the deal done in less than an hour. There is paint issue which he took care of very well with nothing extra from our pocket for a used car. Definately recommed!!
I bought my car early in June and had a pleasant experience. I came in on a couple cars and the salesperson Oscar was very understanding and patient and showed us all 5. We finally picked a pre owner Nissan Sentra and were able get a deal despite my credit not being the best. I would definitely recommend Oscar, he took good care of us despite it being very busy that day.

Autobarn will give you the best car for the best price. My sales consultant Bojan K. is very professional and down to earth. He literally went through the inventory of cars and made sure we got the right one for me. He made sure that the whole process was seamless. He knows the cars and he knows the financing. Apparently he has some clout around there, so you wont have to talk to a bunch of people to get the deal done. It really helps when your dealing with a guy who loves what he does. If you want a quality car and a smooth car buying experience, go to Autobarn Nissan (ACROSS THE STREET AT 1001 CHICAGO AVE.) and ask for BK. Hell take care of you....
I found special service on oil change. I chat with their representative and he put all my info in the system and scheduled the service. I scheduled my service and when I arrived. I was surprised, first the employee said there is no specials on oil change. Than he found it on the internet and he told me that the offer is not valid for me. So like token for appreciation they offered me a $10. I think this is a scam. Very bad experience.
Walked in 30 minutes before closing just to get an appraisal and info on a pre-owned car. We were not intending to buy. Sam L. (Sales) and Sam (Manager) were very patient, informative, answered all our questions and were not pushy at all. They worked with us, let us take our time. They gave us a good deal that was hard to pass up, so we didnt! If you are looking for a vehicle, definitely check this place out and talk to the Sams!
The salesman did apply a few of the typical sales tactics (who doesnt?), but ultimately gave me a fantastic deal on the used car I wanted and met my price demands. The trick is to stay firm on what your budget is. The salesman named Gabriel was super friendly, honest, and straightforward. I would definitely come back. Also, these guys publish their most competitive prices online so check their website first! All in all, I was a very happy customer.
Review is always the best way to express your satisfaction for good services received. Every time I visit the Autobarn service center, I always expect great service. Hands down the best experience I’ve had in purchasing a vehicle. This is my 3rd purchase from this dealership and the staff Monica, Miki and Mirso made it such a smooth purchase! They all went above and beyond to ensue we left as happy customers. Monica went out of her way and helped us finalize All the paperwork . We are very happy with the service we received. Saul Rodriguez was personable and knowledgeable without being too pushy or overly aggressive and made the process extremely easy for my wife and I. We tend to not ask too many questions (which is a no-no in car buying) yet Saul was able to explain in detail the entire process and answer the questions we had yet to ask :) and that put us at ease. In 2011 I was fresh out of college and desperately needed an affordable vehicle for my first job relocation in Madison WI. I went to Autobarn Nissan of Evanston and purchased a used 2005 Mazda 6. Last time i posted a review they claimed they didnt find my file. So here are the details:- Autobarn reps i worked with: Michael Lawless (General Sales Manager), John Gavin (General Sales Manager), Patrick Levy- Date: Feb 21, 2011- First contact on Feb 9, 2011I needed financing to afford the car since I was fresh out of college with no money to my name. I was told that it wouldnt be an issue and that Autobarn would help me apply for a loan. I was warned that dealership can often times run your info through a bunch of lenders and ruin your credit so I double check with the person in charge of loans at autobarn at the time and he PROMISED that would happen. I was approved for a high interest loan (26%!) and without any other options I signed. Within the year I paid off the loan but when going through the process of applying for a lease on an apartment I found out that my credit score was just above 500! I looked into and discovered that the Autobarn in evanston had run 16 hard inquiries on my account when searching for a loan. It took me years to get my credit score back up. NEVER GO HERE. Dishonest and will do anything for a deal. Even destroy a young persons credit for a $5k sale. You guys make me sick!
Great experience at Autobarn Nissan, best customer service I could ask for!!! Miki the GM and Monica the sales were able to get me the van that I wanted for a long time, everything went smooth and professional. Didnt feel any pressure at anytime, I was scared its going to take a long time in finance but it was the fastest and easiest buying a car experience! He was honest, enjoyable to work with, and assured me that there would be no erroneous price “markups”. He made all of the paperwork easy, pricing fair and we were in and out of the dealership with our car in less than an hour, including a test drive. Jim Martinez is simply the best! 2022-04-04I recently purchased a gorgeous new Nissan Kicks from The Autobahn Nissan. The available options were great and I was able to take deliver a few days later (my choice) - a welcome delight when considering how few vehicles are available right now. Ashley was my sales person, and I can’t say enough wonderful things about her. She was very knowledgeable across all the models and provided options I haven’t even begun to explore. With her help, I drive away with a beauty, and never once felt harangued in to something I didn’t want. I would most happily refer Ashley to my friends, family and strangers alike. 2022-02-22After a couple weeks of shopping around for my first vehicle, I was nervous to think a dealership might try to rip me off or be pushy into buying one of their vehicles. However, this was not the case with the Autobarn Nissan of Evanston. First of all, I would like to thank the team of the Autobarn Nissan. I sincerely felt that they surpassed my needs as a customer and as a first-time buyer. Not only was I treated with respect, but they were unmatched compared to any other Nissan dealership in the northwest suburbs that I had visited. As soon as they contacted me regarding the vehicle I was seeking, they did not stop assisting me in whatever I needed. They gave me straight answers, provided me with the necessary resources, there was no going back and forth with them, and towards the end, I got what I wanted with no “buts”. 2022-02-15Salesman Vince Jimenez was warm, friendly, and consultative, as was the rest of the team. Vince understands that purchasing a car can be anxiety-inducing and a reasonably large life-event, and was patient and helpful though that process. The physical plant was clean and sharp and I was given a lot of personal attention there. Everyone was communicative and readily available by phone, as well.

2022-06-14I appreciated how the salesman (Adolfo) took the time to discuss different options with me. Although I had a particular model in mind when I came in, I was still open to others. He answered all of my questions and presented a great deal of useful information. Overall, this was a pleasant experience and I left happy with the car that I had selected.
