Fantastic service. Pricing slightly on the high side, but the convenience of all the artisan professionals all located in one place with the coordination of their concierge services can easily make it worth it to go there to get everything done at once... Just be sure to book in advance!
I had a great haircut with Teddie! He is very kind and obviously cares about both his staff and his clients. Plus, he did a great job with my hair :)I was a little nervous to go during the pandemic, but was greeted with a hand sanitizer station at the door, followed by a temperature check. It seemed like they were using every other chair so social distancing was very possible (I was the only one in the upstairs area at the time of my cut, making it extra safe). Both the stylists and clients wore face masks the entire time and he cut expertly around the ear loops when needed (and always made sure there wasn’t any hair caught).
I have very curly hair and get very nervous trusting anyone with my hair. Ana was AMAZING. She listened to what I wanted and delivered. I was specific about length and shape and she went above and beyond. My curls are beautiful and bouncy and frame my face so nicely. She was able to maintain length and give me more volume. I’m very happy.
I have been going to Teddie Kossof for a few years now and always make sure to book with Lindsey when I want a color treatment done. Lindsey is super down to earth and every appointment with her has been excellent. I always leave loving the color she did for me and enjoying the conversation we had. I also have had wonderful experiences with the staff who perform waxing services. My first bikini waxing was painless thanks to the staff being knowledgeable and comforting. The waxing services that I have received here have all been essentially painless.
This is by far my favorite place to get my hair cut. The attendants are nice and Ive never felt uncomfortable going here. My mom has been taking me here to get my haircut for years. If you end up going, ask for Cheryl. She is so amazing at what she does, and I always enjoy getting my hair done by her. 10 times outta ten I walk out of there feeling great about my new cut. Shes fantastic.
I tried to book online with Lindsey, who usually does my color, and Cassandra, who usually cuts my hair. They were both listed on the site but when I went to book with them I had to call the salon? I was then informed that Lindsey and Cassandra had left but other people were available?? I feel totally duped! Why are they still listed on the site to book? Im taking my business elsewhere.***update*** Per response from owner: the website still lists Lindsey and Cassandra so I don’t trust that you have taken my review seriously. I feel like you are trying to get me in using false advertising. I have been a customer for 20 years and find this really disheartening.
I got my hair done by Megan- colorist and absolutely love her work!! she left me speechless!! i was so tired of going to so called professionals after my co worker recommended this place i decided to give it a try. Absolutely best decision i ever made!! I am so in love with my hair, my friends and co workers cant stop complimenting on how Megan left my hair so pretty and immaculate! I will definitely come again!:)
I have been coming to Teddie Kossof for years and I am very satisfied with the services I have received over those years. I wanted to let you know that even though my regular stylist has been on maternity leave for some time and I have bounced around between three other stylists now I have been treated wonderfully, I have not been disappointed once with the results. I had Augustin on Friday the 16th (my birthday consequently) and having never seen me before or knowing my particular type of hair he did an amazing job! Very personable, listened to what I had to say when he asked for some direction on how I normally wear my hair and did an outstanding job. I have been to Emma most often to Cassandra (both were not available last Friday) and Augustine took me on. Love you guys and what a testament to the caliber of stylists you have selected not to mention Tom K a genius at color. Thank you once again for a delightful experience you are truly amazing folks to work with! I have an appointment this Saturday as a matter of fact and i expect as usual to be delighted! It makes such a difference to be treated well each and every time I visit. Looking forward to seeing Tom and Augustin again!
Ive been going to another high-end salon for color my whole life and Im very happy with it, however, I decided to try this salon to see what it was like. I recently had my hair colored and later corrected. The first time around, the highlights started about an inch from the root, which made it look like I needed a touch up before even leaving the salon and the shade of the highlights was bleach blonde on my dark brown hair (think zebra kind of look) when I made it clear I wanted a natural look and I wanted blonde in my hair as long as there were darker highlights near the roots and the color naturally turned blonder as you go down. When I had it corrected, it definitely looked better than the first time but the highlights were very asymmetrical, with one side having highlights the way I wanted them and the other side barely having any color to the point where you cant even tell the hair is dyed. The final result by no means looks bad, but again, not worth the $200 I spent on it. I will not be returning to this salon for ANY service. Also, when I told the manager I was unhappy with the initial result, her response was that she liked it and she thought it looked good. While its fantastic that she loved it, if I, the customer dont like it and its not what I asked for, thats all that should matter. The initial hair, with the bleach blonde streaks in my dark brown hair looked objectively unnatural, which is exactly what I emphasized I wanted to avoid. The quality of the work coupled with the attitude of the manager are the reasons I will not be returning in the future. Another important point to make is that I dont really appreciate the damage my hair has endured as a result of the many treatments, especially because I will be going to get it fixed again elsewhere. I know and understand that dying hair takes time and effort, but when the end result is so disheartening and unnatural, and not at all comparable to what I showed them I wanted, I knew I had to speak up in order to get it fixed (especially since this is a change that will stay with me for a long time). The fact that they didn’t take my worries seriously and tried to convince me it looks great when it really doesn’t is what has led me to leave this review. I can provide photos of my hair as proof if anyone would like to see the results.
My fist time coming into Teddies and overall it was an awesome experience.I had my appointment with Bianca and i loved her. Such a friendly environment. They definitely know what theyre doing. I walked out extremely happy with my hair and will be returning back. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair! Also Jazmin the receptionist was really welcoming and friendly!.

Genuine, friendly and great sense of humor. #2 Observed wide range of customers in age and gender ….all dedicated raving fans of the staff. Professionalism and smiles exude from every nook and cranny of the amazing facility. From pampering to simple services, everyone is treated like royalty. Well renowned for a reason, now I get it. Bianca is absolutely amazing. I can’t rave about her enough. Over the past 5 years she has transformed my unmanageable hair into something I am proud of. I receive numerous compliments every time I have it done. I TRUST Bianca. I just sit in her chair and she goes to work. If I could I would give a big fat ZERO!!!! I made an appointment with a stylist, when I called, I asked how much it would be and the woman quoted me $50. I arrived to find my stylist leaving me stand there while he cleaned up his area from the day before ( approximately 15 minutes). He proceeded to tell me I needed a perm. I was skeptical, but my hair is thin and he explained it would make it look bigger!I could go on and on about things that were done wrong regarding this Salon!!! He also cut my hair. My haircut was so uneven and so short that when I went to other salons to try to fix the haircut they couldn’t help me because the crown of my head was 1/4 inch long. The sides another length , so and so on. Well its been about 9 weeks and finally my hair was cut( much shorter than I wanted) but it’s all blended nicely now!This experience was a nightmare!!!! I was charged a ridiculous amount for the terrible job that was done to my hair!! Better Business Bureaus heard from me!!
I love Teddies! Ive gone there my whole life and have never left disappointed. Betty does an excellent job cutting long hair. I refer everyone to her and they are very pleased. Ive seen many different colorist and they all do a great job. Highly recommend!
Essie was great, as usual. She works with all of my allergy symptoms, root defiance to color, thinning hair issues and more. Today was the day! Long awaited hair appointment. If you are concerned about making this appointment I can share with you that Teddie Kossof Salon is managing the return from shelter at home very well. Their communication begins an hour before you arrive. A text when you are in the parking lot advising when it’s time to begin your journey back to hair heaven. They do not over crowd the salon. Your stylists meet you at each step of the way. The partitions are well done. Sanitizer all over for you use. Stylists are diligent about cleaning their stations between clients. I started here about 2 years ago after a series of bad haircuts. The Kossof team is great, tons of stylists and colorists and open 7 days a week. My stylist, Diana and Marvin the shampooist are both amazing. Mo gives great color and really listens to you to help you achieve the glamour you are looking for. Their store has many options of high quality products from Moroccan Oil to Brazilian to Rene Furterer. There is something for everyone there!
Everything was great. Anna gave managed a very cute and sassy cut. Moe did an amazing job on my color. She way very patient and encouraging when I wanted to take a risk. The entire experience was phenomenal. Cant wait to go back.
Last May I received the best Mothers Day gift in the world: A day of pampering at Teddie Kossof! I discovered that Teddies is not just a salon, its an experience. Had a consultation with Alan, one hour massage, pedicure and manicure, color & highlights, and a haircut and styling. All were amazing, I felt like a new person!Ive been back many times since. My most recent experience was during the Moroccan Oil special event. I was introduced to many of their products that did wonders for my naturally frizzy hair, and then had it styled to sleek perfection by Betty.
I have been going to Teddie Kossof’s for over 20 years. The staff there is amazing, I always get first class service when I walk in the front door. Alan and Teddie offer the best service around from massage’s, haircuts, scalp treatments, coloring, manicures and pedicures. It’s so easy to get in and get out I feel like I have never left my home. Just moved into the neighborhood so Thrilled I found TK Salon. My 90yr mother needed a haircut & Cindy was a doll she listened to all my Moms stories & gave her a Great haircut. The salon has a nice boutique & all the best products. There is a reason they have been in business for so long.
I saw Megan the colorist and I told her what I wanted. She told me that it wasn’t likely that I could be that light which is fine I appreciated the honesty this wasn’t my first rodeo putting color on my hair. I have Asian hair so it’s hard to lift but she let me leave with red hair when that’s not what I wanted. $180 spent on hair I absolutely hate. I came back the next day to have Mo fix it. She tried but it just wasn’t successful. I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed. I won’t be coming back sadly I wish my experience was different.
First time i showed up, very lucky, got a great haircut waited 10 for my appointment. Second time, what a nightmare, waited an hour and a half for the same lady, she was combing a ladies hair not cutting it, then she pretends she does not know Im waiting for her my hair is dry from the shampoo and she suggest I get another one, then she leaves me bald in spots, so horrible... I had a great experience here. The staff was welcoming. I had a facial, which was really good. I also had a massage, which was really good. Both the facial person and the massage therapist were super nice. After, I got some samples for my face plus a coupon for a return visit. The place was really clean. My appt was on time. I havent gone back because of the distance, but I probably will return if I am in the area.
Sally does an amazing job with nails. She is really great with young people, too! We just love Teddies because its a friendly place with great service. They value giving back to the community.
I have been going to Teddie Kossof Salon Spa for over 20 years! The staff is extremely friendly and efficient. Teddie and Alan make me feel like family. Essie is my Master Colorist and she makes me feel and look 20 years younger! Romee does my manicure and pedicure and she is so very sweet and experienced as well. I would highly recommend Teddies if you want to have an amazing experience with a qualified and loving staff.
Grace is amazing! Every time I have seen her over the last 5 years, I leave feeling healthy and beautiful! I recently brought a friend and my mom in with very different hair challenges: Grace was gentle, thoughtful and had great instinct on how to create a better look. Beautiful results! This is my 4th time getting my haircut by zack, he is always on time. He is the best with hair styles. I tell him what i want and he does exactly that. He is the only one that has cut my hair the way i want it in my life time. My hair is wavy and thick and he knows how to handle it. Its a little pricey but i think worth every bit. It never takes him more than 20 to 30 min to cut and blow dry and style. I would hate when i would go to a place and it would take an hour or more and my hair never looked as good as it does after zack. Every one is always friendly when you walk in. Even the woman that shampoos your hair. Great place! I will keep going back. Thanks
Ive been coming to Teddie Kossof for eight months or so and have had a positive experience every time. Ive had some great haircuts from Zach and color from Colleen, who is so friendly and likable (but always professional) that the time goes by quickly. One thing Ive noticed at Teddie Kossof is that my appointments are almost always on time, as scheduled. I appreciate that, and I also appreciate the fact that they are open later than some salons. Ive had trouble in the past finding stylists who would take 5 or 5:30 appointments, which is when I can get there after work. The experience at Teddie Kossof seems to be well thought out and smoothly executed. Id give it five stars instead of four, but I feel like I should have been going there for at least a year before giving it a perfect score.
I have been going to Teddies for about 3 years now and have been seeing stylist, Diana. She has made my fine and thinning hair look its best with her great cuts. Diana takes her time to get to know you and your hair and knows how to give you the best cut possible. She is an amazing person as well.
Teddie Kossof Salon is great; Ive been getting my hair cut there for the past 20 years! Cindy gives great haircuts; when it was time for my sisters and I to get our hair cut, she would always do her best to work around our busy after-school schedules and squeeze us in wherever she could. The entire experience (from the hair wash to checkout) at Teddie Kossof is an extremely friendly and professional experience.

After a consultation with Teddie, I was paired for a haircut and style with Diana. I highly recommend her for fine hair. She did a lovely job and Ill be returning in the future.I did also have a manicure, and Im disappointed to say that it only lasted four days.
During frequent visits back to Chicago, this is a go-to hair salon.With wavy hair, its great to have two stylists here who know how to handle it. Coming from an arid, super dry climate back to Mid-West humidity, is a challenge. Both Diana and Anna are both personable and talented. The styling looks great and lasts close to a week. I always enjoy coming back!
Dear Alan K,Im glad you sent me the original email with solutions for those of us with tints who cant go to salon but dont want to mess with drugstore box color kits that could go wrong. I have permed hair. I did not want to use permanent or demi-permanent color by myself because I dont know what Im doing.Goldwell #5N was so easy for a rookie like me to use! I followed the instructions in your online video. I used it this morning. Now my hair is really shiny and soft, the gray is blended away, the creeping orange is neutralized, and my color is no longer looks dull. I seriously fell in love with this place. I had super long hair, and just wanted a trim. Well after talking with the owner, and designer, Zack, I quickly realized I needed a little more than a trim. Teddie gave it to me straight, and told me I had dull hair (and he was right). I trusted Teddie and Zack, and am so glad I did. Zack showed me how uneven my hair was from my last cut at a different salon, and fixed it for me. It looks SO much better. Even my husband, whos not a fan of me cutting my hair, absolutely loves it. Not only does my hair look great, but the staff were all so friendly, and were so accommodating since I had to bring my 5 year old.
My first trip to Teddie Ks was because of the convenient location, now it is the only place I go --- Marianne is the ONLY person I will ever see for highlights. She knows more about hair than any other professional I have ever seen. The staff is amazingly pleasant, even when there are several customers and everyone is trying to get to their appointment, they are patient and friendly. With all large variety of services available, everyone should at least be going to Teddie for something.
Ive been coming to Teddie Kossof Salon for many years and am always happy with the services Ive had done. My most recent visit was for a French manicure. My nail technician was Lana. She was very professional, friendly and informative. She explained to me the various nail techniques available (i.e., gel nails vs. gel polish) and didnt try to up-sell my service. I would highly recommend Teddies and Lana for nails.
Always a good experience. Zack is wonderful for color and styling and always on time! Marvins shampoos are perfect and he is always so pleasant. Everyone in the salon is friendly and helpful.
I have been going to Teddies for my haircuts for years. I have had several different stylists and each has been so interested in cutting my hair in a style that suits my age and lifestyle. Each stylist has also been personable and easy to talk with about hair concerns.
I have been getting my haircut here for over 15 years. Reasonable prices and every hair stylist has done a great job. For the last few years, my stylist has been Bianca. I highly recommend her. Its very easy to make an appointment using their online booking system.
I had very good experience in Teddie Kossof. I liked Lauren who did my color as well as Rony did my nails and she did great job.My only concern is, if you dont want them to style your hair, you are living salon with soaking wet hair. It should be a hair dryer available to costumers who dont want to pay for styling.
I have been a loyal customer for the past 14 years. First I had the pleasure of having Keeley Kossof as my stylist and Linda Kossof as my master colorist. After these two wonderful professionals left the business, Grace became my stylist and Tom my master colorist. I am always pleased with my services at TK and expect to be a customer for many, many more years.
I am always happy with my experience in the nail salon (I have only received services there). Monica is an exceptional nail technician and I always leave happy. I had grown tired of going to nail salons where all the technicians speak to each other in another language, and dont talk to their clients. Monica is very personable. She also always recommends all kinds of products that I am also satisfied with.
I go to Teddies specifically to see Grace. She is very skilled, professional and easy to talk to. The time flies while sitting in Graces chair. She is so sweet and pleasant. I leave LOVING my hair! She has also created lovely up-dos for my daughter for high school dances. So much talent!
I got a phone call from the salon the day before my appointment telling me my usual colorist John wouldnt be in and offering the opportunity to reschedule or schedule with a different colorist. I chose to keep my appointment and take my chances with a sub. Megan did an excellent job and I couldnt be happier with the way my hair looks. More proof that you cant go wrong at Teddies
If you want a fabulous stylist. I can not recommend Livian enough. She listens to her clients and offers suggestions. I have walked out with so many new hairstyles because she made me comfortable enough to try new things. She even did my wedding hair.

I went in for single process and partial highlights, Maria knows what shes doing, I definitely found the right person to trust my hair to.I hate to say this but the front desk lady was rude, she never greeted me, theyre your fist impression of a business I have to say I felt a bit insecure been there, but the results on my hair I love it, I will try a trim and blow dry next.
My colorist Inga always gets so many compliments. I get my hair done at Teddie Kossof Salon for the past two years and almost everyday somebody asks me where I get my hair did and who is my colorist. She is the best!
Overall, I have been very happy with the variety of services that I received from Teddie Kossofs. Out of all of the services, I am extremely happy with the manis/pedis they do. I have always had great service and very happy with my nails when I left. I also chose Teddie Kossofs to do my bridal hair and the hair of my bridal party. They did a great job as well. I have gotten massages as well. These have been okay. The rooms are extremely small so I always feel the technician is bumping into the table while moving around it. I also have had a couple that were only so-so.
I have been coming to Teddies for about 15 years now and I have never had a negative experience. Maria for hair color, Cary for haircuts, Angelina in the spa for waxing, and Ann for manis & pedis - all FANTASTIC at what they do! I would (and have) highly recommend Teddies to anyone looking for a new full-service salon. Love this place!
Teddies is a classic North Shore establishment, with great customer service. It has the full range - salon and spa, with excellent estheticians in the facial department (Marie is so wonderful!) and great hair stylists. You know youre in good hands when you go there.

After 7 years in miltary with crew cut & 43 yrs. Short, boring business cut, decided to see what was possible for my still-full head of hair. Saw Augustin (sorry Augustin for name Typo - dern shacky hands) 1st in early Feb. 2020, Now growing unkempt for 5 months minus light shaping trim in Feb. Needed an extra few inches. 2nd cut early June better shaping, found have natural wave on top - gonna take time to figure how to manage that. To be addressed on July visit. Teddie Kossof has been in business for some 30 + years.They reopened under IL Covid-19 guidlines having invested heavily in full body temperature scanner; air vetilation equipment; protective masks for employees; customers are required to wear thier own masks. Distance spacing is monitored. Operations are very efficient.Teddie Kossof is often seen making rounds engaging his customers which has always been his way. The salon & spa are immaculate in cleanliness and comfortable lighting, temperature. Everyone from, reception, hair washers, stylists, to product assistants are very personable & helpful.Highly recommend men as well as the ladies.

I have been a client here for years and have always been treated with courtesy and consideration not to mention respect. However recently the front desk, which is the first impression in any business, has been less that attentive and courteous, also the dress code should be addressed and perhaps refined, I have noticed many womenmaking faces at certain apparel worn by the front desk staff. The other day I stood at the counter for 5 minutes one was on the phone the other talking to someone socially and I was never greeted or thanked for my patronage. No good and not going to be tolerated. We can go to many other salons where customer appreciation and courtesy is #1. I was disappointed a few times now and while the salon stylists do a good job and the manicures and pedis are good also there are other places.Thanks for listening
Ive been getting blonde highlights and cuts at Teddie Kossof for years now and keep coming back. Marianne is amazing for blonde color. It always grows out nicely and I can get a Blonde Recharge in between highlights to make it last longer. Bianca always knows what I want for cuts. The loyalty program is an added plus

I like this Salon and Spa, when I found a Groupon deal I did not hesitate to buy it. I mentioned the groupon deal upon setting my appointment. The deal was full color, gloss treatment, and blow dry. At the last minute I added a facial and hair cut. The stylist Agustine was little hesitant to serve a client with a groupon coupon. He made me wait around 20 minutes to finish a prior job and then too busy to complete the job with the blow dry. When I was ready to pay I was informed that I was booked with experts and my groupon was meant to be done by less expert professional. I was not happy about the rationality I was given. The manager after my request appeared and tried his best and offered a discount to solve the differences. I was impressed with his profesional manners and a good actitud. I never had a problem before. If you ever buy a groupon deal from this Salon and Spa please save yourself from trouble and mention up front the groupon deal and be sure they understand it well.
Been going here for years. Service has dwindled over the past several years. My last experience to schedule an appointment was the last straw and Im glad. Found another place closer to home with better service.
I had a great haircut with Zack! He is such a master! He is really personable and fast. He pays attention to the details and what you really want! Love my haircut! I will be back and definitely recommend him!
Experience at the Virgin Hotel location was great. Front room was a bit bright and not relaxing, but the facial and estitician performing the service were both excellent.My face was truly glowing afterwards. I shined all night long, and my skin felt excellent for weeks after.I could have lived without the harsh lights of the sitting area, but it was tolerable. The sauna and showers are also nice.
Have had 3 amazing treatments at the Virgin Hotel spa in downtown Chicago. The environment is absolutely relaxing and the staff are welcoming and make for great treatments. Make sure to arrive a little early to enjoy the hammer. The facilities are beautiful and very clean.
Essie has done my color - highlights - for years and she is THE BEST. She is so kind and loving I come home with pretty hair and a smile on my face. I cannot recommend her enough. Very very talented.
Grace Lipinski has been cutting my hair for at least 13 years. Each one is perfect!! I get compliments all the time. Maria did an amazing job on my hair. I was nervous because it was my first time at Teddys and I was using a gift card, but she made my highlights look natural and blonde but not to carmel-y. It was exactly what I asked for and didnt take multiple explanations of what I was looking for to get it right. Perfection!
I went there to get full highlights and a haircut. It seemed that they were troubled by the length of my hair and did not want to take the time to do things correctly. The hair colorist left color on my forehead which I had to get another worker to help me with after everything was done.The highlights were not what I expected and I had to go back a second time. Though they took care of me a second time, a client should not have to go twice to get things done right.I.G.
I have had great experiences and truly awful experiences. This salon has really been struggling since Alan took over for his father Teddie. He is arrogant and his staff doesnt respect or trust him and it shows. I thought I would give them another shot and brought my teen in for highlights with Essie. They were so awful I had to take her to my colorist to get corrected. I would have called to give them an opportunity to correct it but I one time expressed concern to Alan with regards to his staff discussing/bashing gays and his response was thats how these people are and didnt even apologize or offer to address this unacceptable behavior. Unfortunately, I was sitting with highlights in my hair and couldnt just get up and leave.Its a shame because I really liked Nikki who cut my hair and their aesthecians but cant get past it because of how the owner handled things.
Best experience I’ve ever had!! I had a mud bath for the first time and I loved it!! I will for sure have this service again!! After my relaxing mud bath, I had color/cut that turned out fabulous!! Lovin my hair thank you So much for everything!!! Staff was extremely friendly

I recently called for an appointment and accidently dialed Alan Kossofs personal line. I offered to call back on the main number to make my appointment, but he insisted on making it for me... HOW GREAT WAS THAT!! Had my color with Inga, who is always amazing and had my cut with Dianne, who Alan suggested, since my regular hair stylist was on vacation. Again... great experience.
I have been going to Teddies forever, and have seen a number of different stylists. My last visit was with Bianca, and she did a great job. I will be seeing her again!
The last time I visited Teddie Kossofsaue was for a Spa Day. I had a facial, a body massage, and had my hair done (wash and style). I was very satisfied with all procedures and and the people involved. I would recommend Teddie Kossof because of the variety of ways to pamper yourself.
With every salon there will be good workers and bad workers. If you have blonde hair, dont go to Mo at Teddie Kossof. She doesnt know what shes doing and will screw it up. Neither does her boss. I walked in with a simple ask for ash blonde hair (cool side) and walked out with weird reddish hair that clashed with my skin tone, eyebrows, and was actually the opposite of what I asked for.
Go to COLLEEN B for color!!! I have been SEARCHING for a good colorist for years. I finally found Colleen on Instagram (check her out: @colorbycolleen) and emailed her right away. Her work is beautiful. She contacted me quickly and we set something up. She was so sweet, so professional and MY GOODNESS is she talented. I had been going to an amazing colorist in DC for a few years and when I moved to Chicago I decided there was no way I could ever find anyone to make my hair look like that so I may as well just go dark. So, dark I have been for a few years while I searched for someone new. Colleen was able to brighten up my hair to look incredibly natural and sunkissed - a painted balayage. I will definitely be coming back and shouting her name from the rooftops to whoever is thinking about some color. Good color is hard to find and she is simply phenomenal. I just wish she was closer to the city! Someday! Until then, I will travel as far as it takes to get to her. Color genius.
I have been a client of Teddie Kossof Salon for many years and each and every time I go for my mani/pedis with Vanda is a wonderful experience. Teddies staff are not only very professional but they have become my friends. I look forward to each appointment and know it will be positive every time.
I recently entertained clients at the Teddie Kossof Spa at the Virgin Hotel location. Unfortunately the experience was less than desirable. My guests were taken back for their massages 10 minutes before me which meant they had to wait for me post massage. Not ideal when entertaining clients. While my massage was fine, I became very uncomfortable when I realized upon completion that there was a floor to ceiling mirror on the wall at the head of the table. This is a very uncomfortable realization when you have a male massage therapist and the blanket is held up for you to turn over at the mid-point of the massage.I did call the hotel to share this information after the appointments to which they stated a manager would call me back. I never heard from anyone. I wont be back.

I started to have my hair done by Ilene some 40 years ago. I say, “Ilene, you may never retire.”I am new to having manicures with Monica. She too, has a wonderful interest in me and we have found some commonalities in our lives, so my visits with her are great. Monica also takes the time to explain the issues that I have with my nails and how to work on the very dried nails. My sincerest thanks to Ilene and Monica for their personsonalized interest in me when I visit Kossof’s from Gretchen.Kossofs is the only salon for me, thank you all from reception, hair washing, Ilene and now I can add Monica.
I had a deep tissue massage a teddy kossof and really loved it! Its such a nice atmosphere and I loved the massage as well. They really know how to take care of their clients. I am looking forward to coming back for another massage soon!

I went to get my hair dyed and I am not happy with the color. I made another appointment to get it corrected. I always like this place before but was not satisfied with my recent experience. My colorist made my hair red instead of brown. More time out of my busy schedule to get my hair fixed. Ugh...

I had a deep tissue massage and mani/pedi a few days before my wedding along with my best friend -- it was a wonderful experience.The only thing that kinda bugs me is that I get email offers all the time for $20 off but it has to be a service Ive never used before - and Id really like to come back for a massage.
I go to Teddies for blowouts and always have a good experience. Maybe I will try one of the stylists for a haircut. I have a rotation there and dont necessarily want to recommend one stylist over another.
Recently had a deep tissue massage with Mely, and she is FABULOUS. I had a knot in my back that she worked out about a year ago, and for some reason it came back many months later, obviously, not her fault. I did not get it taken care of as soon as it appeared, so it required two massages to get it resolved, but it was completely gone when she finished. This time, I didnt delay getting a massage, and just one treatment was able to work it out. Mely is not only extremely professional, she really knows what she is doing, and does a great job. I have had a couple massages over the years, and wasnt overly thrilled, but Mely has definitely changed my opinion, and I wont hesitate to return. I highly recommend her.
If you want a talented, professional, patient, creative colorist, please go to Megan. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my color when I walked in and I walked out THRILLED with my hand painted hair color. I highly recommend Megan!!!

The hairstylists are very professional and up to date . The colorists also know what they are doing. I never feel rushed there. Occasionally I had to change my appointment due to illness, and they were accommodating.
Went for manicure and pedicure. Horrible nail salons.Wery dirty. Are they sterilize their equipment?all in the dust.Ive never been in such a dirty salon.The manicurist was very unfriendly,honestly I wanted to escape quickly from this salon,but I wanted to give a chance and take it and it was a big mistake.my no cheap manicure lasted only a week.
I have been using Teddie Kossof hair products for decades and they are the best. Their hair spray Schtick-it is the best! It is on high demand and I can see why that is.

Teddie Kossof was a warm and welcoming salon to walk into. I loved the atmosphere it created. Having chairs upstairs all next to each other made you feel like you were getting your hair done with all of your girlfriends.
When I went to get my hair cut not only was I completely misgendered and missexed by a lady but throughout the process but she kept reffering me to my family as your older brother. Mind you I am genetically female and I was dressed as such. I literally walked out of there almost crying because I legitimately looked like Harry Potter. Never coming to this trash bin again. I went home, grabbed a pair of scissors and cut it myself. A much better option than here!
Had my hair color done by Lindsey. She always does a terrific job. Wish there was a better selection of magazines and that the TVs in the color room showed TV stations instead of product ads.

I had my hair dyed there, and since my hair is black, its difficult to color it without bleaching it first. However, the colorist did a great job having the brown show through.

Ugh, they are so weird here. They dont tell you anything. They dont check your hair after they color it. They just make you dry it yourself with hairy brushes. They dont even care to see how it turned out. Awful, never come if you want someone to help you.

2022-04-15Im posting the review since I’m not satisfied with the effect and I asked for a refund and didn’t get it. I was trying new salon and didn’t work. The pics shows the results. I can say the people were very nice however as long as I texted about complain the secretary changed the tone and said she saw me leaving the salon and I looked good so they won’t give me money back. I told her I came back home and check it closely and don’t think this is the way the hair from the salon should look like and don’t think this is the way new client should be treated. Oh and I 400$ was the total, yes including the products and mask however for this price I expect something more. I don’t even see the toner effect, just yellow shades. Just avoid..P.S. in response of your replay, I m scared to go back since the condition of my hair was already bad. I booked appointment with my old hair dresser to fix it and make it look more naturally and blended. I trust her cause she fixed my hair once, I don’t think anyone would risk it, nothing personal sorry

2022-02-18Holy customer service, Batman!I was greeted by super nice and friendly staff immediately upon entry. Everyone was masked and kind. I was offered a variety of drink options. The communication about my services and the stylist timeline were clear and accurate. My hair looks great coming out of the salon!! Will update with the real world results after washing and styling as I normally do. I have curly hair so fingers crossed the cut is as amazing as the staff and experience I had today!

Teddie Kossof Salon Spa !This is an experience from the moment you cross the front door, where this beautiful, elegant and well spoken ladies are greeting you, to the softness of the hands of my hair stylist, when she was doing my coloring highlights one by one with such cared.She took all the time to make a beautiful work of art with my highlights. They look so natural and blend with my greys you can’t tell.Then there’s Gigi who washes your hair like if she was caressing your scalp.To close the experience I went upstairs to this beautiful young lady hair stylist and show her a picture and told her maybe..” this will look good on me..”? She graciously agreed with a smile and then the magic….Eduard Scissors hands was a joke compare to her. She gave me a complete fresh new look and I loved it!!In conclusion I went in feeling old and outdated. Still reminiscing my old spa…I came out relax, happy, completely changed and feeling beautiful.Teddie Kossof Salon Spa is not only a hair Salon and spa is an experience.!From now on this is my place to go! 2022-04-17Terrific personalized customer service. My cut and color was fantastic. Both Diane, my stylist and Tom, my colorist listened very carefully to what I wanted and made sure they got it right!!!! Receptionist Amy very friendly. Teddie a super person as well. Everyone says hi and smiles. Employees love to work there. Fantastic local business!!! My hair is tricky because it’s thick and curly with lots of cowlicks. Just a terrific team!! I’ll be back!!!

2022-04-24They ruined my hair! I wanted salt n pepper hair. I had long blonde, healthy hair. They double processed and I ended up with damaged blonde hair, not salt n pepper. They did credit my account, but I was forced to cut it really short. Im still suffering from the damage. They do have great stylists for cuts. COLOR? Id not recommend.
