The reason that I selected this score is due to my interaction with the Target located in Cicero, IL. This store is extremely hypervigilant in terms of making sure that no one is stealing however they always make me feel uncomfortable when I shop there and they make me feel that I am being racially profiled every time. This is the reason that I am leaving this information in the survey because I feel that the front end staff does way too much and makes guests, specifically me as an African American woman, feel uncomfortable whenever I shop there and choose to use self check out.
Everything looks fresh and it’s stock I’ve been a member since 2007 I think and target has always been my go to store. I’ve been to many retailers and target still appealed to me the most from it’s fresh look to the store associates. I don’t know each one there names specifically but a friendly face I don’t forget.
I would really like to thank Omar for being the hero of the day, I came in looking for an apple iPad that was on sale but the store did not have in stock he was able to find it in another store and place it on hold for me with ease . Great customer service a big high five for Target having such great employees . And a another girl who helped me today was Madie I hope I spelled her name out correctly but she has great customer serviceThanks again Target
Very dissapointed. i came in store to purchase and it was closed.. i came 10 min before 10pm. i wanted to purchase something very quick, i had enough time to purchase.. if they dont close 10pm, it shouldnt be stated online and have a sign at door that they close before the time... i drove 30 min after work just for it to be closed 😡
I have been to many different Targets all over IL. I have been to Targets in the south side of Chicago lately because of baby sitting reasons, and service is horrendous. This morning, I was in a hurry and encountered two issues and the two cashiers were such great help, fast, and polite. It was beautiful and it felt peaceful having to receive such help early morning.
Great Customer servicemy momma always taught me to treat staff as humans, and show respect to them and patience and the reward is helping you find what you are looking for or point you in the right step. That applies here.been shopping here since i gotten my super nintendo here as a kid.they price match if you take the item or printout of the item at the guest services. i love how friendly the starbucks staff are and like how the sales ads are listed on the front entrance, and the good selection of grocery items and had someone talk to me about some really useful kitchen ware that i use everyday now.my favorite part of target is the electronics section and i like how clean the store is, my only thing is i wish they had music playing, a top hits station or throwbacks from the 80s - 90s era of music.overall great experience and good service.
Really liked this Target location - the store is huge and has a ton of ailes that youll more than likely find yourself browsing even though you didnt have any intention on doing so. Regardless, its a clean store with very helpful staff members and great prices. The CVS pharmacy here is also great - the manager was attentive and beyond polite.
I was just here and went to check out. They only had two lanes open and only one had their light on yet people still went to the lanes (very confusing) finally once everyone in the line started getting frustrated a young lady came from wherever and started calling for cashiers...now I come here because its very convenient and I dont care for the competition but this is terrible...I hope to see improvement in the future.
I normally love Target because of their great customer service, the quality and organization of their merchandise and the environment. However, this particular Target was like one Ive never been to. I walked past several employees and was never greeted by one. The store was TRASHED on a Thursday. Shopping carts full of merchandise and clothes thrown everywhere. In the womens apparel and shoes, I thought I was in Walmart or one of those discount chains. I wasnt happy with their womens department, but their beauty department made up for it. It was neat and organized for the most part. However, again, I got to the check out lanes and the lines were long. Even the express lanes. I was shocked. Ive never seen Target let their lines form outrageous as they did. One of the cashiers instructed me to go to Guest Services since I only had three items. When I walked over to guest services the older woman working there act as if it was a huge burden on her to ring up my three little skincare items. Im so disappointed in this particular Target. I know it can be better because Ive shopped at several Target stores in the Chicago area.
I waited 45 minutes to pick up my order. Carlo told me there were only 2 devices for order pick up. I feel that is unacceptable. After waiting over 30 + minutes a young lady pointed another hand held device for order pick up underneath the counter. When the person retrieving the online orders came back to wait on me there was 5 others customers waiting to pick up there orders. It still took her 15 minutes to get my order. Walmart has a much better system/set up. First, there online pick up line/area is separate from the customer returns.
Entered the store to register for our baby shower and was met with a rude women with short hair named Mary in the customer service part of the store, she blatantly lied to me and my wife and said they didnt have scanners or bags and that we couldnt register there, she said we had to do it all in our phone. Moments later AFTER we stood there and created our account the manager (tanya or tammy I forgot)came out and asked if we needed help and we told her what we needed. She immediately smiled and said congratulations and handed us a scanner and told us everything we needed to do to create a registry or log in if we had one, something that Mary purposely did not tell us because she was dealing with a customer who seemed to be on Marys bad side. The only reason Im leaving a 1 star is 100% Marys fault. That type of person with that kind of attitude DOES NOT BELONG IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. She failed to do even the basics of customer service and should not be allowed to interact with ppl during her job AT ALL. Thank you to the front manager Tanya (or tammy I think) who KNOWS what customer service is and shame on Mary for purposely trying to make a pregnant women and he husbands life harder because shes having a bad day.
Rude customer service I check on the target app and with a target before which the other one was very helpful said to come to this target for a speaker I was looking for and I come here and employee was taking too long to attend the customer before me and I asked if they had a speaker in stock guy takes a glimpse and says whatever we have on display is what we have I asked you cant check with your phone like other targets or even check the back because previous targets have gone to the back and they actually got what Im usually looking for he said no ridiculous.
I would say a solid option. The only reason I prefer the Broadview store (I live in between this one and Broadview store essentially) is that this one is a little more crowded. Also, Broadview opens earlier so I can get there early, beat the crowds and get out.I have come to this one on my lunch time to grab a few quick items and I would say its a solid store. Like some others have said - pretty run of the mill as far as layout and such.AND (if you see my other review) WAY better than Walmart which as crazy ridiculous lines and wait times!
Im only giving this location two stars because the employees dont seem to care about the customers anymore. To be fair, a lot of them are new. Mostly milenials. They just want to ignore you and be useless. Where this store has gone downhill the worst is in the Starbucks. They are so inconsistent there its pitiful. I guess its time to find a new Target/Starbucks to go to.
I would give this location a zero if I could. They will not honor your coupons. Their customer service is absolutely horrid. They will deny your coupons and laugh in your face. I had a Pantene coupon from the P&G saver and they would not honor that it stated one product should be free after the purchase of one shampoo. The manager stated I was not allowed to get anything free in her store. Even though this is what the coupon stated.
Not a huge selection of items like the nearby Walmart but this place is far, far better. Clean store, organized items and typically zero wait time at checkout. Youll usually find what youre looking for here. For store prices youll have to call up and ask as the website doesnt display in store prices.
Worst customer service i have been shopping at this location for over 15 yrs.i accidently forgot my redcard and they wernt able to pull up my account. I was told by the customer service employee if i brought my receipt they would reemburse me the 5% out of my 324 dollar purchase i paid with my debit card. Today i walk in to the store And they denied the 5% not only was i denied but also the person who claimed to be store store manager i forgot her name was super rude as if she had managed a walt mart prior to this.
Idk how people are liking this place. One of the worst targets I’ve been in. Especially if you shopping the the health department. Nothing is ever stocked and never cleaned. You have to dig through some kids clothes in order to grab the Niquil bottle. Avoid this target like a plague. The one in Oaklawn and Burbank are miles better. Horrible operations managers in the Cicero location.
I was shopping with my friend and few weeks ago and we went to buy some things and I went to pay at self check out and pay for my things and as soon as we got trough paying for the things we bought one of the guards approach us like he was all tuff and stuff and say Come with me we was like ok and there was another gurad and one of the worker or boss in a room and they falsely accused us of steeling when we paid for it then they was like got IDs? We was like yeah and they put our info in the computer and then they said you guys cant come back to the store for 1 year because you was trying to steel and we was like we was not trying to steel we paid for our things and we give them the receipt and still was like you was trying to steel and we was like lets go these people do to much . I want every to know if shop here to not go to self check out because the guards be on to people and accuseing them of steeling.
I just tried to make a purchase at this location wit 10 minutes before closing I was turned away by a security guard looking like he was going for his gun. Not a good feeling. As i got into my car, they let someone after me in. Needless to say I wont be shopping here again.
Worse experience ever in a Target the first assumption was because I was a person of color that I was not bilingual there for once I raise questions about policy they being the cashier and security guard began to speak in Spanish about me to be PG it was basically said that I was the issue on why was I complaining or even asking about the gift card that I will receive with my purchases and even was agitated that I would have the nerve to ask to speak to a supervisor to say the least with poor customer service like this I wont be coming to this Target in the near future not even if it was my last option totally disappointed
To the guy near the entrance of the self checkout lane, do some work instead of talking and block people after they are done with a purchase. When someone says excuse me! Hence, move out the way and stop chit chatting and move out the way next time instead of saying mhmm. 6:20.pm
The Loss Prevention guards are racist!! They accused me of stealing as well along with my friend who is pregnant and has a baby who was only 5 months old with us! They embarrassed us! They grabbed me by the arm and they took us along with the baby to the back room! That bounty hunter looking ish thats also an LP is the main one barking like a damn dog with a nasty attitude!! She said even if i didnt steal anything she knows i did and that a letter will be sent to my house demanding money....she also said if i didnt pay that money or respond i would have a WARRENT YES A F-ING WARRANT OUT FOR MY ARREST she claimed i stole 125 worth of stuff but didnt remove any of my items from my or my friend bag! I got my letter and they are asking for $250!!!! Kiss my ass racist mfs!!!
Its in a great location. It also services all the communities that surround it and even more. It also Services people that just passed by. the staff there is predominantly African-American and Latino. The communities that surround Target on Cicero Illinois North Lawndale and little village
Awful they bathroom had waste all over the title n toilet n wall n still took a awhile to clean only one worker for the Janitorial cleaning other crew members of the target family couldnt even volunteer to help or just pitch in and clean it up like knowing that it was a woman too and it was just only one toilet one wall but yet still it was the family toilet room the still it was just disgusting it should have not been left there that long
We had a horrible experience in this location.The toilets were very unsanitary,and had human feces all over it.I do not recommend this location for the use of restrooms,and the employees were ignorant to us.We had told an employee to go send someone to clean the restroom,and completely ignored us and did not clean it.

2022-06-30Target is the place to go, I find it more convenient to stop by at target than going to a drugstore. They always have everything I need. My local target is not a super target, so from time to time a drive a little longer and visit the bigger Targets in the suburbs.

2021-08-07I absolutely love this location and the team members! I frequent this location weekly for in store and online orders. The team members are always kind and polite, although todays service has gone above and beyond. Im in a crunch for time and placed a pick order online around 10:20am. I received an email indicating my order is ready for pickup in less than 30 minutes and Im truly grateful for the swiftness of the team. Thank you for saving me time today and expediently going above and beyond today!

2021-12-31Best customer service in cosmetics section I believe the person who helped me was called Dulce. I did over heard a customer yelling at a deaf worker because he was pointing at what she was looking for and told him that pointing is rude! It’s a 2 way street for hood customer service! Keep that in mind, workers are people not robots .

2021-12-17Because of your online customer service and when I went to the store today I was not treated like a customer had me waiting to for almost 3hrs to get a online problem solved for my son Christmas gift that your online took out because they said they wasnt in the store this morning when got there it was in still didnt accommodate my services told me I have to wait 3-5 days to get the rest of my on a gift care that they represent said was in the system Christmas didnt give my money off the purchase that was due Im on medication Ive been in an accident wasnt trying and have a sick child that I was trying to make happy for Christmas customer service in the store made me get up out a seat after standing up for over an hour in gave my seat to 1 of the cashier whom I took a picture of felt so disrespected hurt

2021-10-02I awalked around looking for help finding rain ponchos. I walked half the store and only found 2 workers. One was next to the umbrellas and said she didnt know anything but earings. The other person I found d in the ladies clothing. She told me they were by the umbrellas but she couldnt leave her section. Very frustrating.
