Target in other cities:
The drive-up experience at this Target has been spectacular throughout the pandemic. Friendly, courteous and helpful employees bring your purchases to your car and load them up carefully, following all Covid-19 safety protocols. And, it doesnt cost a penny more! Give it a try!
Maybe its just me but Im very picky with carts. The carts in Walmart or County Market just dont roll as smoothly and quietly as what youll expect for the carts here. The noise of cart really bothers me so Im pretty happy with the well-built carts in target. The store is well-decorated. Its a good experience shopping here.
Had a really bad check out experience. The woman was very unnecessarily rude. I am someone who works in a service industry, I understand we all have bad days, but you need to keep a level of professionalism at work regardless. Including when you deal with confusion. Besides this experience, I do like target as a store and I have never had any other bad experiences here.
Always a clean, organized store. I like to see the stylish merchandise they have occasionally. Some of the employees are helpful, a few are not. Not a good place to buy clothes, but they do have most of the basics. Has a slightly upscale feel compared to their nearby competition.
Have to admit, target might be handling covid-19 better than just about all other brick and mortar retail stores. a guy in front of the store hands out masks to people that forgot or forgot to bring one. always smell like it just got cleaned, and usually can see people cleaning things. food selection has gotten really good. got booze there now too, but its a bit over priced. binnys is right across the street though, so who cares?
Called consumer cellular to check if they were open. Tech support said yes. Drove over an hour. College kid at service desk cut me off mid sentence with only Monday through Friday from 10:00 to 4:00. Very rude then walked off. I now have a phone I cant use but still paying for. Tech support I called cant get it either. Might as well be tin cans on a string.
What a disappointment! I took my Grandson to this Target to purchase a bicycle. We had the desired bicycle in hand but were unsure how to get home. I went to the website which said they had six in stock which could be picked up later. I ordered one and was told it would be ready four hours later. Actually, four hours later I received an email that the order had been cancelled. When we returned to the store the next morning, the bicycle was gone and there were no more=disappointed Grandson and Grandfather!
I went to this Target for an interview and there was a big issue. I did pretty well and talked to the manager who was a wider guy, shorter, and white. Without telling me anything about the job or himself, he literally just asked me questions and said well email you in two days. The next day I get an email saying we regret to inform you that you did not get the job. I dont understand why someone with a clean record wouldnt get a job at TARGET. I spoke to him again and his attitude was incredibly disrespectful. I looked around at the other employees and it was predominantly white. I am asian and it seemed pretty apparent that this manager seemed racist from the beginning. I will be taking legal action on this. Target is always hiring so there shouldnt be a reason where I wouldnt get hired.
Always say they’re hiring but never get back to anyone, I know multiple people who have applied & have experience. At the very least be professional like many places & just tell them they don’t have it, but it seems like they just don’t hire anyone unless they’re willing to give up their whole schedule.
Absolutely terrible. I was just in there, and there were multiple people not wearing masks. They just didn’t even have them on their face at all. I saw 6 employees walk by these people and not say anything, and I told a manager who seemed to care less. Extremely disappointed. We are in the middle of a pandemic. There is a mask requirement at the store. I would expect employees to enforce it. Never coming back.
Cashier was nice, I walked down the main aisle and a clerk in health and beauty department said can I help you find something? I said no. He said let me know if I can help you Im here. Always a clean location. You wonder if their produce section has what you need because its so small, but they had my cilantro. And their Naked drink cost only $2.77. Good job Target!
Target stores are pretty consistently well staffed and clean, and this is no exception.Wish this was a true Super Target. Though they have groceries, the selection is limited and I frequently have Cartwheel app coupons for things they do not stock at this location. All in all though, I like this store.
My target has been so great this year around Xmas. No long lines. Always carts. Even when they are clearly busy as soon as th cart area empties they replenish them! And there were several people to help me find my last minute gifts and to check if there were any in back. I am a very happy customer this Xmas eve. A day I was expecting to have to compromise and I didnt!
Employees and customers at this store are willingly, knowingly spreading COVID-19 at this store. Please do not shop here if you want to stay safe.Below is my email to [email protected]:To Whom It May Concern,I was absolutely appalled by the lack of mask usage and social distancing by both the store employees and the customers in your Champaign store at 2102 N Prospect Ave, Champaign, IL 61822-1231.Today I witnessed an Target store employee walk around without a mask properly on, while holding merchandise. Her nose was completely exposed. Store employees came within 6 feet of me, and a security guard stationed at the front of the store walked within 2 feet of me.This is inexcusable during a global pandemic.During the entirety of my trip, customers and employees ignored the social distancing floor stickers and the one-way flow of traffic signs. Several times other customers came within my personal space because the store was too crowded to properly social distance.Several customers (more than 5) did not have masks.I witnessed, several times, unmasked customers walk within employees line of sight, with no word from the employees to wear a mask. In one horrific instance, I watched a customer put her unmasked face up to an infants onesie. As a possible asymptomatic carrier, this Target stores callous ignorance of guidelines on COVID-19 prevention could very well lead to the death of an infant.I am sincerely concerned, disappointed, disgusted, and frankly scared at the blatant disregard for the safety of customers and staff that I witnessed in this store today. A pandemic is not the time to be callous and inconsiderate. People are dying. Please, please actually institute some sort of maximum customer occupancy, block off aisles, space out checkout lines and train employees to wear a mask and what social distancing means. How many more deaths will make this a problem for your store? Will you wait until theres a COVID-19 outbreak traced back to this location to actually enact safety measures?I will certainly be letting my coworkers, friends, and neighbors know about the overt danger this store presents. They have a right to know that Target is too dangerous for them and their families to shop in. A global pandemic is not a joke.
My cashier was good. The cashier for my daughter was not. My daughter bought diapers because the sign said you would get a 10.00 gift card. She did not get the card, we realized it after we left, we went back. I stayed in the car with my 3 granddaughters while she ran back in. She told the cashier and the cashier made her go back and get the sign. Not customer service. She told Jillian it was old but she would honor it. We would not know it was old, it,waa, still out.
Electronics KEVIN is the hero we need, not the hero we deserve. My mom wanted a specific style of Apple watch. The website said it was there. The first helper we had couldnt find it on the shelf, and said she couldnt check the back because she was just a phone worker, and not a Target worker. She asked a regular electronics employee, Nick, if there were any more in the back and he said with confidence and highlighted hair, no, we dont have any more of those. We ho-hummed around for a minute, and modest HERO KEVIN asked us if we needed anything. We asked if he could kindly check the back for this specific item, and he said sure. And guess what, Nick, there was one in the back!In short, I hope that you always find the Electronics Kevin and not Electronics Nick. Kevin is the Target man you need.
What can I say about this store other than this is where I go so I dont have to deal with the people of Walmart. The prices are higher but then again I dont have to see the people who have to manually breathe.***EDIT***So I cant say how awesome the customer service is here. My wife ordered a breastfeeding pillow online but we received a toy horse. We called the online number and the postage stamp didnt work. So we went in and they called to make sure they knew it was returned and the call center hung up on the Target employee. The worker then made sure another one was ordered and we didnt have to pay a dime extra.
You can find everything you need here, from groceries and clothes to furniture and toys. To do errands its not necessary to go multiple stores to find everything you need. Everything is very organized and there are lots of nice brands. I definitely recommend stopping by!
I have been a loyal Target shopper for many years. Recently, I purchased an item for my place of business, and when it was received, one of the pieces was broken. Upon calling Target to see about returning the item, I was connected with one agent who couldnt help me, and connected me with another agent. This agent had to contact the manufacturer directly to see if we could get the piece replaced. I was placed on hold, and when the agent returned, she explained that the answer would take longer, and she would contact me when she had a response, and would call back even if she had no news. Fast forward four days, no calls. To make a long story short, after FOUR calls today, I have found that they cannot assist in replacing the piece, and I have opted to keep the broken item, rather than go through the nightmare of returning and entire, very large outdoor seating arrangement. I am extremely disappointed in the return experience, and have opted to contact the manufacturer myself, as I believe they cannot help me easily resolve the situation. I doubt Ill order from Target again.
It is most definitely a Target. The floors are white, the walls are red, the lights are all lit up.They have most of your typial every day life needs inside of this store including some clothing. If you cant find what you need here there are a few places nearby that will cover you.The starbucks is at the front entrance when you walk inside of Target. You cant miss it unless you are facing left when you walk in. (Look right.)The shopping carts are in good condition and the shelves are stocked. The people shopping inside actually form little chat groups in the corners of the stores a lot. But at least they dont clog up the lanes.I was surprized to find a cell phone dealership inside of this store complete with lots of cell phone cases and accessories for phones.Their food section was a little on the light side but you can still find some fruits and veggies here. As well as yogurt if Walmart runs out.The same service you would expect everywhere else.
I love this Target, however, tonight when I specifically went to purchase a 2 quart crock pot I couldn’t find anyone to help me. There were the displays but none stocked on the shelf. I had first used the red phone to get assistance and it was a teenager that first came to help. She scanned the product code on the price sticker and said they were out of stock and would have some in by the 3rd. She seemed bothered and was casually trying to hide amongst the customers in her maroon space dye sweatshirt, instead of a normal target red shirt. I was annoyed so I immediately went on the app and it said there were some in stock for purchase. I found a man that looked like a manager and he again scanned the product and said there were several in stock and just had to run to the back to get one. Turns out miss teeny bopper was just lazy and just wanted to seem like she was doing her job. Thank you to the man that helped us so I could make some dip for New Years Eve.
I couldnt have asked for better customer service from Megan and Sam!! Before I tried this store, I was on the phone with Bissell and the Target in Chicago trying to get help for over 3 hours with an item that was broken that I had recently purchased. I went to the Target I originally purchased my vacuum from in Champaign and they helped me immediately, with a smile, no questions asked. Thank you!!

2022-01-26This review is very disappointing to make as my family and I are usually at target every week. Ive never had an issue with this Target until today. Mark downs were set and were not honored. I spoke with the manager and she even took me to the isle to show her. After showing her you would think she wouldve honored the prices. nopee. Also this is the first time I go into Target and hear the employees use very vulgar language, In front of the manager at that. Please do better Target, I would love to keep shopping here.

2022-06-12A store of racists and losers. No customer service at all. The only thing they can provide you is bigotry and pomposity. The average staff are fine. Their bald manager has no idea what he is supposed to do and I dont know how he has managed to work in this industry for so long.

2021-08-19Went to target today 8/19/21 9:00am and wanted to buy some card that were on display for 9.99 and when I get to the register they tell me it’s 39.99 and the manager will not honor the display’s price. Kinda messed up experience made me feel both uncomfortable and disappointed that the manager showed no compassion not even a sorry just said “yeah we’ll get that fixed have a nice day”
