Sylvias-Amlings Flowers have now made several deliveries for me. Each time the arrangements have been gorgeous and right on time. They even did a same day delivery! I am so happy to have found this gem!
Sylvia’s provided the floral arrangements for my wedding in September, and they were stunning! I can’t say enough about Sylvia’s and how much we loved what they did for us! Kristina was so easy and comfortable to work with from the beginning. During our first meeting, we talked through everything I was looking for, and she was flexible and super helpful as we finalized the decisions. She worked with my budget and didn’t pressure me into adding things, which was MUCH appreciated during the pricey wedding planning season. She was able to present me with realistic and affordable (but still beautiful) options for every dream idea that popped into my head about what I wanted my flowers to look like. I felt confident that she understood what I was looking for when I left our consultation.When I saw the bouquets for the first time on the wedding day, they were exactly what I had envisioned - absolutely gorgeous and dreamy, and I could barely take my eyes off of them. They added a lovely touch to the day and all of our photos. I couldn’t have been happier with what Kristina put together for us. I would recommend Sylvia’s to anyone who is looking for beautiful flowers for an important event.
I have used Sylvias since I was 14 years old for Homecomings, Proms, funerals, etc. So when we had to pick a florist, I only wanted to work with Sylvias. Everything was absolutely perfect for our October 4th wedding! All the arrangements turned out beautifully and we received several comments on how gorgeous the flowers were! We worked with Kristina and she was absolutely wonderful. She helped us stay in budget and helped us create a vision for the types of flowers we wanted with little help from us! All we knew is we wanted sunflowers, and I wanted lilies in my bouquet because they are my favorite flower. Other than that, Kristina did the rest! We even had them make a collar crown for my flower girl who was my dog! I would recommend anyone to use Sylvias as their florist! They are the best!
Ordered same-day flower delivery a week before Valentines Day. The flowers arrived within three hours and were absolutely beautiful. They looked just like the photo online. My fiancee was extremely pleased.

I ordered a arrangement of fresh cut flowers called HAPPINESS to be sent to the hospital for my sister the vase had a crack in it I called them and asked if they could send a new vase well they went above and beyond told me how sorry they were and sent a new arrangement to her which was bigger then the original. No charge to me excellent customer service I will always use Sylvias. Thank you she loved the flowers they were absolutely beautiful

I worked with Kristina Lang at Sylvias for my wedding and had a wonderful experience! The flowers were absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted. Kristina was flexible, even when I changed the scope of what I wanted pretty last minute. I live in FL and she was willing to meet with my mother and sister-in-law for 2+ hours to get every detail right. Sylvias/Kristina are highly recommended!

Better late than never! While its been almost a year since my wedding I wanted to write a great review for Sylvias staff, especially Christina. My alter bouquets shown in the pictures turned out gorgeous! I was so sad they couldnt last forever. My bridesmaids bouquets also turned out very cute. However, within my bouquet I had a break in a petal of my main lily, luckily it wasnt visible from afar. Aside from that little break everything turned out perfect! Christina was absolutely great, keeping me in the loop of the order, drop off and pick up times, etc. I highly recommend using Sylvias as your florist. Their prices are reasonable and youll love their service.
I used Sylvias as the florist for my wedding in August 2016. We worked with Kristina and she was an absolute delight to work with. She was accommodating, responsive, consultative, creative, flexible, friendly and fun. Kristina understood our budget and had an idea of what we were hoping for and ran with it. I ordered flowers to be delivered a week ago and was only charged the day before (pleasant surprise). I sent them as a gift & of course my partner was asleep. They were kind enough to call her back and make the effort to deliver them the day of. She loved them. A bit pricey, however they met expectations.

Kristina helped me with my order. She responded promptly with my requests and would email me right away with any questions. On the day of the wedding, the team arrived on time and worked with my event coordinator. The flowers they put around the gazebo looked beautiful and I loved the bouquet and free standing flowers they designed. If I lived closer to the flower shop I would definitely go there for all of my floral needs. I also would book them again in the future if I ever need floral décor for an event.
I chose Sylvias to order flowers for my aunt and uncle who are out of state, not well and shut in due to the pandemic. They needed a little cheering up. We ordered four boutonnières and two mothers’ corsages for our wedding last Saturday, and Kristina did an absolutely beautiful job. We insisted on sunflowers, which are not always the easiest to work with (particularly for boutonnières) but Kristina was up for the challenge and very helpful in offering suggestions. We did opt to use Viking mums for our mothers’ corsages (they are daisy pomps but have the same coloring as sunflowers), which Kristina accented with my favorite flower (alstroemeria) and seeded eucalyptus, which matched the special accents on the groom’s boutonnière. We did not hire a photographer so these pictures don’t nearly do her work justice, but it gives you an idea. Overall, the boutonnières and corsages were beautiful, elegant, simple, and exactly what we were hoping for. Thank you so much Sylvia’s, and thank you so much to Kristina! She is a true artist.
Sylvias was a staple of my childhood from dances to special occasions. I now live in Colorado but still rely on Sylvias to deliver beautiful flowers to my parents who still reside in Arlington Heights. I can count on fresh, gorgeously arranged bouquets that spread the love when I cant be there in person. The latest occasion: my Moms 65th birthday.
We used Sylvia’s for our florist for our wedding, and surprisingly this is the same florist my parents used many years ago for their wedding. We worked with Kristina Lang and she was amazing! She helped us stay in our budget and still get the exact look we wanted. I researched many places and this by far was the best when it came to price and quality. We were so pleased with all of the flowers for the whole day (bouquets, boutonnieres, cake flowers, and the garland around out centerpieces). I highly recommend using this florist for your wedding! You will not regret it! The whole process was seamless and flawless!

Call Sylvias on a Sunday morning. I needed a floral arrangement for a memorial Service @ 9:00 AM the following day. We talked leter in the day to discuss some options for flowers in the arrangement. The flowers were beautiful and were delivered before 9:00 AM. Great customer service!

Flowers are beautiful and staff are nice, but...The Flowers are a special gift for your loved ones, they express your love.Its awful when your gift dies the next day.Bought flowers from here twice and bought times the flowers dies next day.Never had this experience when bought flowers from trader joe , right close to them, or any other place.Dont know whats going on with flowers from Sylvia maybe they are not fresh or so, but definitely not buying here any more !
On Valentine’s Day, my daughter and I received the most breathtaking arrangements. It definitely made our day!! However after 2 days, the flowers were dying. I assume it was due to the cold weather while out for delivery. I called and spoke with Kristina Lang, about what happened. She was super friendly, and had amazing customer service and said she would send a replacement. I received the replacement today, and once again I was blown away with how beautiful it looked. Thank you, Kristina Lang for listening to my concerns and replacing my order. I will definitely spread the word and will order again soon. It’s nice to know, you guys truly value your customers and go above and beyond to make us smile with beautiful arrangements.
It was such a pleasure working with Betty W. I ordered flowers over the phone (from LA) and also had my Mom (from FL) on the other line. Betty was extremely professional and patient with working with us. There were several details regarding our order especially with the SCRIPT and how we exactly wanted it displayed with the flower arrangements that we ordered. She was very accommodating and was patient in taking down all of the information that needed to go on the script and note card. We were ordering flowers for my aunt and my dads sister who just passed away in Chicago. During this difficult time, its nice to have someone who is genuinely a good person to work with, since we just lost a loved one and it can be a stressful time for the bereaved family. The order was mixed up and the flowers we received were not as ordered. However, when I called the shop, they responded immediately. I stopped in later to speak to the manager and he was very gracious and helped to make sure I was satisfied with the outcome. He not only provided me with what I asked for, but he made sure that there was additional compensation for my mixed up order. Thank you for making my difficult day easier.

My husband was on the phone placing an order for delivery for his mother’s birthday. Young woman on the phone that was taking all of his info for the order was on our car Bluetooth.While my husband was looking for his card to place the order, the woman overheard the music playing on my sons I pad and starting singing along! So hilarious and personable!She actually somehow got us to purchase flowers above our budget!She asked his range of how much he was looking to spend, he said he didn’t know. Her follow up question was “ Well. How much do you love her?” My husband and I are still laughing about it! We want her to work for us in sales! Someone give us her name! 👍🏼As for the flowers, the recommendation she gave us was spot on with what we asked for. I worked with Kristina for our wedding flowers and she exceeded all of my expectations. From the beginning she helped guide us through our options, always being transparent on cost and offering advice on what would be the most durable throughout the whole day. We made several adjustments to our order and peppered her with countless emails, and Kristina accommodated all of it with a smile. She even let me have a sneak peak of the arrangements the night before the wedding just to be sure everything was to my liking. I ordered flowers for my daughters bridal shower. Table centerpieces and a couple of arrangements to decorate the room. My daughter and future son in law are VERY particular. Everything was stunning. We had never seen such pretty roses before. I worked with Kristina weeks ahead of time to get the color scheme just right. She was a true pleasure to work with. Sylvias is definitely my goto florist for flowers that need to be perfect for any occasion.
Website displays false advertisement, would have not purchased from them if the website was accurate, heads up, no they do not do same day delivery in chicago, but had to pay $20 extra to have my order cancelled and have to wait for my refund until the manager gets back on friday!
I live in CA and needed to have some flowers delivered to a family member in Buffalo Grove, IL. Sylvias - Amlings Flowers was kind and accommodating on the phone. I told them my price range, asked them questions, and they were able to put something together for me. Another thing that was nice, was that they sent a delivery confirmation email. When I looked at the email, I noticed that the street address was incorrect for delivery. I called them right away, and, once again, they were very kind and said that the manager had already gotten to the bottom of it (and figured out the correct street) and had relayed that info to the delivery driver. Good experience all around.
I highly recommend Kristina at Sylvia Flowers for wedding flowers!! I felt like I was working with a friend who wanted the best for me. She is extremely kind and professional and was able to work with my budget and create beautiful bouquets that looked amazing! When I came into the shop, she would always greet me with a smile and was eager to show me how the flowers were coming along. Update : manager Jerry was very professional,gave me a call and asked what they can do for me . Definitely 5 stars for the customer service ,and ,as I already said,flowers were nice regardless my issue with order. It’s been three days since wedding and it still looking fresh :)Ordered a bridal bouquet from Sylvia’s flowers for my wedding on September 12th and I wasn’t quite happy about it . When I was placing the order , I brought in 2 printed pictures with two different bouquets on it . One was the style i wanted ,and the other one had the flowers I wanted . I explained to the older lady who was taking my order that I wanted the bouquet from the first picture but replaced with flowers from the second . She went to the back to talk to the manager about the price . Then they charged me 200$ (because the bouquet I wanted had a lot of greens in it,and it was supposed to have volume) . After all I received just the bouquet from the second picture(which was smaller ,and would cost me 150$ if that was my original order). I asked this lady twice if she understood what I wanted and she said yes and she would explain it to the florist designer,but I guess she didn’t . I didn’t pick up flowers that day and when it got to me I was a little upset ,obviously. However,I’m not trying to be rude and say bad things ,flowers were pretty nice and I didn’t let it ruin my special day, just want to make sure no one will have this issues in the future.
I am so thankful I found Sylvia’s because they not only are one of very few shops that is open on Sunday but they did such an amazing arrangement for me. Today is our first wedding anniversary and I wanted to surprise my wife with a beautiful arrangement but I couldn’t find a single place that was open and would be able to make that happen until I found Sylvia’s. They were so nice and accommodating and seriously made this huge beautiful arrangement that greatly exceeded my expectations. My wife absolutely loved it. Thank you Sylvia’s! This place is great! I ordered flowers for my grandmother to be delivered to her rehab center while she was recovering from surgery. When she suddenly had to be transferred back to the hospital and the flower shop had already sent her flowers out for delivery, they were able to stop the delivery and reroute them to the hospital. Very nice people!

Ive heard good things about this florist but unfortunately, my expectations were totally not met. Getting flowers for your partner whose a florist themself is not an easy task. So when she found out where they were from, super excited! But that joy did not last. The flowers were beautiful the day of purchase, but already wilting after two days! Ive bought flowers from other florists that last a lot longer for the same price point and even less. Flowers definitely not worth it for the price I paid.Edit: They have exceptional customer service and if you have any issues, they want to fix it right away.
We worked with Kristina for our wedding in September and she was amazing!!! She was great with coming up with ideas and suggestions and our flowers could not have been more gorgeous! She was very willing to work within our budget and the product was exactly what we had hoped for. She was also so flexible as we revised and refined our order and made it so easy and convenient on the day of. I received so many compliments on my bouquet, it was exactly what I pictured. We also decided a few months before to have an arrangement for our unity candle and it was incredible! It looked amazing at the church and we also used it at Kristinas suggestion at our head table at the reception. It really added the finishing touch to the room; it was worth every penny. I had complete faith in her setting up the reception the day of and she did not disappoint! Our room was exactly what we had hoped for and we received compliment after compliment on how beautiful it was. All in all wed hire her again in a heartbeat and highly recommend Sylvias!
I highly recommend Sylvias Flowers!! I was looking for a florist that was affordable and really cared about my wedding. I found Kristina Lang and she was absolutely wonderful. From day one she answered my many questions and stayed within my budget! Kristina always answered my emails within the same day if not the same hour. The flowers were so beautiful and everyone commented on them! Kristina paid so much attention to make my wedding day perfect even though she was organizing flowers for 9 other weddings that same day. All of the florists were meticulous and conscientious while maintaining a high level of professionalism throughout the entire process.They were extremely flexible and able to modify arrangements to our liking even the day before the wedding. Sylvias Flower is by far the best flower shop I have ever dealt with! I had my wedding is June of this year and my flowers were fabulous! I was working close with Kristina and Jerry and I couldnt ask for better service. They both are very prompt with getting back to you and knowledgeable. Ordered a Mothers Day Special arrangement for my Mother-in-law, she was very pleased with the bouquet, and said that it had roses and orchids. I ordered it without a picture so wasnt sure what shed receive. Thank you Sylvias for taking care of my MIL and making me look good!

I was supposed to get flowers on Valentine’s Day and didn’t realize it under my fiancé asked if I had received anything which I had not. The day was coming to an end and no flowers. I tried to figure what happened and lead to a miscommunication and misunderstanding. BUT today I received the most beautiful arrangements today with a wonderful note. Thank you for your words. Sylvia hired a staff that is willing to rise above their ego and make sure every customer is satisfied. I work at The Merchandise Mart-which is confusing on its own. I received a beautiful arrangement from this florist for my birthday from a friend. The delivery man, John, was so pleasant and accommodating. There was a small issue with the flowers so I called in and Christina was very friendly and concerned and she made it right. I would definitely recommend this florist.

Now I understand why Aylvias - Amlings Flowers is 5-star rated. I ordered flowers to be sent to an address in Prospect Heights. The driver phone the party and the phone number that I provided was disconnected. He left the flowers in the shade and called back to the florist who called me. I was in limbo. I had given the florist the only address and phone number that I had. Then the current resident phoned the florist and explained that the party had moved. She provided their new phone number and new address. The florist phoned me. I happily agreed to the extra $12 delivery charge to have the driver return to the house, pick up the flowers and deliver them to the new address. We used Sylvias to send poinsettia plants to 220 of our customers. We were very late this year compiling our info and Sylvias delivered 220 gorgeous plants to all of our customers in just over 1 week. Christine was so helpful and accommodating. I am the type of person who has a vision for everything but cant seem to put it all together. I brought my ideas to Kristina hoping she could make sense of them. Not only did she meet my expectations, but she went above and beyond. She made suggestions that I had not even thought about and made my vision of my wedding day flowers even more perfect. If you are looking for a florist for any event, I highly recommend Sylvias!
Cool store looking store but I wasnt happy with the service nor the arrangement.Usually I can just ask the florist to make something based on color preference and they can get it done within 5 minutes with really good organization of the flowers, as well as strategic placement of greens. However, this florist was really difficult to just ask for advice, took waaaaayy too long to make, and at the end didnt even look good. The different types of flowers werent mixed up to spread the colors, and instead just looked clumpy. I asked for a sunflower to be added in, and it didnt even face the same direction as the rest.
I have to say certainly I did not have a good experience here. I walked in to order a dozen roses (long stems) for a pick up on next day. When I was waiting, one of the store ladies asked me if I needed help, so I said, Im just looking for a dozen roses. Then even without asking me what I wanted, she said you just can go into the fridge and pick one!.... in a very unfriendly manner. They had dozen roses for sale for $10 or something, but that was not what I was looking for. So I walked in to the fridge and walked out. The woman gave me a glance and she really looked like she didnt want to deal with me. Then the other lady said, Ive got it.... then the woman said, Are you sure?.....She really made sure that I felt like I wasnt good enough for them. I will never go back there again.
I ordered flowers for mothers day and had to call the store to change the recipients address last minute. I knew they probably couldnt have delivered the flowers on mothers day since I made the changes on mothers day so I was ok with them delivering the next day. The woman I spoke to on the phone was not pleasant to speak with from the beginning of our conversation. I gave her the benefit of doubt since it was mothers day and it was probably very busy and hectic so I was very friendly with her. She still continued to give me attitude all the way to the end of our conversation. I called the store the next day and another woman had told me the flowers were out for delivery at 11am. The flowers werent delivered until 6pm. When my mom received the flowers it did not even look like the flowers in the photo on the website. I am disappointed in their customer service and the delivered flowers. I probably will not purchase from here again.
Kristina did all of the flowers for my wedding, and they were just gorgeous! In addition to being the most beautiful wedding flowers I have ever seen, hers were also the most reasonably priced of all the florists I checked out. I used to work for a florist and I have seen a lot of different arrangements, and her work is breathtaking! I preserved my bridal bouquet and even that still looks stunning, so much so that it is sitting on my mantle in a vase. My photographer even commented on how well the flowers turned out in comparison to other arrangements that she has seen. Thank you Sylvias!

I called in and spoke to Gerald. Most kind and helpful on the phone. I live in Canada and missed my nieces wedding today. Gerald also printed a letter that I wrote to my niece and included it in the delivery. I was told the flowers were beautiful. I needed same day, last minute flowers for a funeral visitation. I live in Indy so I needed a local florist to help. Sylvia’s was SO accommodating!!! I called and the lady who answered helped me pick out the perfect bouquet. The visitation was from 7-9pm at a church and the church was closed when the normal delivery driver tried to bring them. They normally don’t deliver after 2pm but Jerry said he would deliver personally after they closed and got the flowers to the church by the viewing at 7pm. This was WAY above and beyond!! I would give more stars if I could!!

To make a long story short, I was a walk-in on Mother’s Day without a plan. The ladies at Sylvia’s were amazing, especially Grace. She went above and beyond to squeeze in my request on what has to be one of their busiest days of the year. I gave her my budget and what she created was breathtaking. My wife was floored. It’s been a long, long few months for her and Grace totally bailed me out. I’ll be going back to Sylvia’s for sure! But next time I’ll be calling ahead!

My husband and I got married this past May in Arlington Heights and had the pleasure of working with Kristina on all of our floral arrangements. Prior to my meeting with Kristina, I had met with another florist in the area to discuss some initial ideas and pricing. I left that 2+ hour (!) meeting feeling completely overwhelmed by all of the options and seemingly endless stream of decisions that needed to be made, and also not entirely satisfied with the quote I walked out with. Meeting with Kristina was a breath of fresh air - I was out the door within 45 minutes, holding what I thought was a much more reasonably-priced quote that contained arrangements I was much happier with. Kristina seemed to immediately pick up on the fact that neither my husband nor I are overly picky about (or familiar with) the specific flowers used in our arrangements, was mindful of our budget, and saw the vision we had for our wedding despite my husband and I only having a couple of general pictures to go off of. She helped coordinate with our venue to get a garland arch hung from the ceiling for our ceremony and worked with us to re-purpose pieces from the ceremony to the reception to cut some costs. She was extremely responsive to emails and our unannounced stops by the florist, receptive to last-minute changes and adjustments, and friendly to work with. Highly recommend Kristina for any floral needs - she was an absolute joy to work with!
We used Sylvias for our wedding this past August and we could NOT have been happier!! We met with 6 other florists before my sister-in-law told me to go see Kristina at Sylvias. We were a little frustrated because we didnt think any of the florists were actually listening to what we wanted at our wedding. I would explain and show pictures of what we wanted and they would start putting in their two cents about what we should have, which was not what we wanted. We finally met with Kristina at Sylvias and INSTANTLY felt comfortable with her. She actually cared about what we were looking for and helped us get something super similar to what we wanted and still stay within the budget we wanted to be in. With all of the stresses of planning a wedding, dont stress about the flowers! I would highly recommend seeing Kristina at Sylvias! She is amazing and so is the staff there!
The flowers were beautiful that my son sent from California via Sylvias. However the next day 2 big blooms died and saw that they were cut too short and had no water. Not only did Sylvias redeliver the identical boutique on Mothers Day they stopped over a third time with an additional grouping. Rich from Sylvias in Arlington Heights did an amazing job with our flowers for our ceremony and reception hall. I went to several florists when shopping around and he was well priced and actually seemed to listen to what I wanted. We had picasso and purple calla lilies with white and lavender roses...they turned out more beautiful than I even imagined! He called me a few days before the wedding to verify the order and I stopped in to see the colors of everything, they really pulled together some beautiful arrangements using my descriptions from our first visit to the shop. No complaints!

Let me begin by stating that my initial interaction with Sylvias was immediately after a horrible experience with another local florist who was completely unprofessional, disrespectful and just overall downright awful. I called Sylvias from the parking lot of the funeral home in which I was attending a family members funeral service. After my interaction with the previous florist had me completely worked up and distraught (the order I had placed was not going to be delivered and they not only did nothing to rectify it but the owner hung up on me several times and raised his voice at me) Jerry answered the phone. He was so kind, patient and understanding. I became emotional because of the experience I had just had and upset because flowers were supposed to be at the funeral services on behalf of my family and there were not. He immediately sprung to action asking where the services were and stated he could have a funeral spray there in 10 mins. As the services were already beginning that was, unfortunately, not the best option. He stated to go into the service and call him back afterwards and they will figure something out to make this right. He also assured me that the treatment I received from the other florist was absolutely wrong, the things I was being told were absolutely wrong and he continued to assure me he/Sylvias would make it right. I called him back after the services were complete and he talked through with me what I would like done and promised he would have an arrangement sent to the familys home that afternoon. He completely and utterly fulfilled that promise; I even received a text message later that day with a picture of the arrangement and thank you from my family who received it. I cannot thank Jerry enough for his customer service, his patience, kindness, understanding and efforts. I will absolutely be using Sylvias again and thank you all for being what a stand up company should be.

We came into Sylvia’s the day of prom yesterday in distress because we made the mistake of getting a prom bouquet/boutonnière from a small florist shop down the street from Sylvia’s! BIG MISTAKE!! The small florist shop didn’t listen to anything that I told them about what color flowers my daughter wanted in the prom bouquet or the boutonnière, not only that some of the roses in the prom bouquet were dying. We spoke with Grace at Sylvia’s she told us don’t worry we can fix this for you. She went to work on my daughter’s prom bouquet and boutonnière. When she came back with what she put together it was absolutely beautiful!! My daughter was beyond happy and thankful for what Grace put together. A huge thank you to Grace and Sylvia’s Florist shop for helping me out in my BIG MISTAKE, and for putting a smile on my daughter’s face by giving her a beautiful prom bouquet and boutonnière for her senior prom!
Great place! I always think dedicated florists are a bit pricey, or maybe Im a bit out of touch on flower pricing. Anyways, these guys were really helpful and nice. They even offered me a substantial discount even without me asking. Maybe I caught the manager in a good mood or they wanted to close up, but either way, it feels great!
I was at Sylvias a few days ago purchasing some flowers for a loved one. As soon as I walked into the door I was greeted, by a very sweet lady named Joyce. I didnt know they stopped deliveries after 2pm and placed an order online at 2:20. They called me to let me know it was after their delivery time but still decided to deliver it for me. This was the first time I used a florist in this area and will be the only one I use after the great service they provided me today.
My fiance and I popped in just minutes before they closed with some last minute requests for wedding flowers. They were willing to spend extra time with us and helped us to find just what we needed. We were impressed with the service, attention, and selection.

Treated curtly and finally said, Ill rethink this and hung up. No offer of help whatsoever. She lost a $60 order, but I guess she doesnt need it. Was trying to send one of our customers a blooming plant, she apparently doesnt really want to offer alternatives if she doesnt have what I want.

Recently I received the most beautiful orchids from my friend, a sympaty flowers. They were from Sylvias Amlings flowers. Thank you Sylvia.
I was desperate! My cousin passed away suddenly a few days before and we, as a family didnt discuss a group remembrance until Friday before the Sunday wake. I called the top hit on a google search, avas, and they said that my item would be there , from a local Wheaton,Il. florist before 1 p.m. Sunday. I was grateful. I was working midnights that week and i was too tired to shop around. Again, i was grateful. Just to make sure, i called after work Sunday morning only to find out there was no item at the funeral home Sunday morning.There is a discrepancy here, the funeral home says there was no item delivered Saturday (the delivery florist is closed Sunday)and Avas says there was and was turned away. A few days later i was told the item delivery was attempted, but the funeral home said no cards were attached to items attempted. So, Im s.o.l. Either way. (Bad organization, no cards saying what memorial the items are for?)Avas was telling me their end was covered. Im trying to tell operators nothing is right. Possibly, the shop, green branch, would deliver my item Monday. AFTER THE FACT.So, i started calling around looking for a store that could fulfill an immediate need and have it delivered in two hours. Sylvias did the job. Avas did get a company out in time, unknown to me, the supervisor from Avas found one. He didnt tell me until i called back again trying to get an update. But by then( i think it was four hours since i attempted to get this done), ON A SUNDAY AFTER WORKING MIDNITES, I WAS OUT OF MY MIND. I tried to cancel the Avas order, but they would not let me, saying it was too late, it was already in transit. I tried to argue, but they insisted.Thanks to Sylvias! They got an item out in no time at all and i was secure in knowing they got it there.AVAS SAID THEY WOULD DO SOMETHING THEY COULD NOT ACCOMPLISH. THE LOCAL FLORIST THEY USE IS CLOSED ON SUNDAY, YET THEY PROMISE SUNDAY DELIVERY?!?! THE SUPERVISOR I DEALT WITH SAID HE WAS TOO BUSY TO HANDLE MY SITUATION. YOURE NOT THE ONLY ONE I HAVE TO DEAL WITH. CALL TAKERS WOULD NOT GIVE ME A SUPERVISOR WHEN I ASKED FOR ONE, ON NUMEROUS TRIES. This place is a huge order gatherer and not a local florist. Theyre only interested in the bottom line. Sylvias saved me from embarrassment and heartache, thanks Jerry and the driver and everyone at sylvias!!!I WILL DEFINITELY RETURN TO SYLVIAS AMLINGS FROM ARLINGTON HEIGHTS,IL.JAY MORRISSEY, CHICAGO,ILLINOIS

I called Sylvias asking for a special request knowing that it may be difficult to accommodate. Christine who answered the phone was very friendly, but then she handed the phone to Betty (the manager?). Betty could not have pushed me off the phone any faster and was incredible rude.

Very rude ! Horrible customer service . I do understand I walked in 30 minutes before they close without an appointment . I did politely ask for a quick estimate as I know what I want exactly if not I can come back with an appointment . The man I talked to was very rude and abrupt every time I had a question . Will not return or order anything from them . My wedding is my special day .... that’s not the kind of people I want to be part of it .
Order flowers for my wife who is a nurse working on Mothers Day. Placed the order at noon because the website still listed today as an available delivery date. 90 minutes later I got a call that they couldnt do it because they didnt have any delivery drivers left. Now its too late to go with anybody else. Extremely disappointed.

Their employee Kippy was extremely nice and really took her time with me. She assisted me with answering all my questions, however her kindness and polite manner is what i knoticed the most. I will recomment sylvias and suggest you to ask for kippys assistance.

2021-11-16I booked Sylvia’s for my wedding on 9/18/21 and I absolutely LOVED the way my wedding flowers turned out! I also purchased bulk eucalyptus and baby’s breath to make my own centerpieces. I always felt like they were working with my vision/budget and not trying to convince me into spending more on things I didn’t want. Overall they were very professional, responsive and reasonably priced! I highly recommend Sylvia’s flowers!

2022-03-18I ordered a bouquet about an hour before they closed for delivery the next day and it was a great experience. I live out of state and needed the bouquet delivered to my friend in Illinois. The employee I spoke to was incredibly friendly and helpful. He verified what I wanted on the card multiple times, made sure the spelling was correct and was overall very helpful and kind. The flowers were beautiful, exactly what I was hoping for. I would definitely use them again.

2022-05-15Steve did an amazing job with our flowers for our wedding in May 2022. The bouquets, table arrangements, boutonnieres, and corsages were absolutely beautiful. The table arrangements for our long tables looked even better than expected. Also, it was a pleasure coordinating with Kristina as well! 2022-01-19I placed an order from Memphis TN to deliver in Arlington IL. The flowers that I ordered for same day delivery were being offloaded but Christine promised the arrangement she put together would be equally as nice. My friend sent a pic and they were gorgeous and delivered within the hour of placing the order. Great job!!

So when I Googled your shop it had the best reviews and you didnt disappoint. I didnt get flowers delivered for my friends funeral and when I called you it was a instant yes. When I arrived I was so overwhelmed and started crying when I saw the flowers. Your team comforted me and just listened to my needs. I loved loved my beautiful flowers.

2022-05-19I called them the same day as prom. They made ma a corsage and boutonnière in the colors I needed. Said I could pick it up any time I needed. They were reasonably priced and it looked great. The staff was so nice I can’t tell you how much I appreciated it. Especially after my order on line was canceled.
