Svendsens made me two of the most beautiful arrangements, for grave markers. I have NEVER seen more beautiful coral roses! And the fuchsia/light pink roses! Absolutely gorgeous. Thank You !
I bought 3 bouquets within a week. I purchased two one to go to my fiances Mother and one to go to my fiances job. They said they dwli erwd and couldnt get in with my order to my fiances job so they delivered both bouquets to her Mother. She did get them and they were very pretty but she didnt get the thrill of getting them at work. So I ordered her another which sis the just b on her first words were spelled wrong and they didnt get them to her job like I wanted so back toy second order. I wasnt offered a discount or anything Im co owner of a business myself and if we did that to a consistent paying customer we wouldve definitely offered some type of appreciation for continuing shopping so even though they do good work I cant continue to shop Im away from home so Im looking at maybe once to twice a week. Are there any better shops in town.
Ordered an arrangement of roses for Christmas dinner table. It was beautiful. High quality roses -- the kind that open very, very slowly. It still looks beautiful after 8 days. Highly recommend.
Just received the most BEAUTIFUL bouquet of roses I have ever seen! Consistently great quality arrangements. Weve used Svendsen Florist for years and they always have great flowers that last for weeks! You wont be disappointed in their quality!
I bought a dozen roses with baby breath in a big vase. I got them home the very next day they started turning black around edges and dying. I spent 71.00. I called them to tell them. They told me to bring them in so they could see they only replaced 2 roses and while they were in the back I heard them doing alot of complaining and talking about me like I was dumb. I will never buy another flower from this place again..... Very unprofessional! Save your money go to another florist
Ordered a bouquet this morning to be delivered same day. Placed the order around 11:00 a.m. and recipient just posted that she received them. Just about 2 hours from order to delivery. I was impressed.
I just received the most beautiful, colorful bouquet for Mother’s Day. My son will be so happy to see what a great job they did.
I wont be using Svendsen Im the future.I placed my order online for Mothers Day and noticed on the confirmation that the date was wrong. When we called to get this corrected, the woman who answered was unfriendly. We were told that we were in luck and the order was going out that day. I found out on mothers day that in fact it did not arrive. There was no attempt to correct the issue other than send it at a later date. Im pretty disappointed.
I ordered flowers for mothers day for my mom after seeing a picture on their website that i liked and specifically asked if they would be just like it and they said yes... well my mom sent me a pic to say thanks and they looked nothing the picture almost as if they just grabbed a bunch of flowers threw them in a vase and sent them with the delivery driver.. I see why small businesses are failing in this town. When I called to speak with the manager she stated they could have picked them back up and rearranged and redelivered but they were far from just needing that despite the fact they took my order knowing they didnt even have to flowers to do to job. So please spend your hard earned money somewhere else and save yourself the trouble! This place had my blood boiling!

WARNING!!Dont do business with these people. The people here have alzheimers and are unsympathetic to special cause. Forgot to deliver my special order to my MOTHER, and the balloons I ordered for my girlfriend flew out their van window. After paying for delivery, I ended up having to deliver my order myself. And when I asked what happened I was treated with a really nasty attitude.
When we were young girls, the brother of Ms. Elsie Svendsen would invite us over to their flower shop to stop and smell the roses and to accompany him at the shop. The flowers and plants were good back then but after Ms. Svendsens passing, the flowers beauty seemed to wane off. I ordered the usual Dazzling Daffodils, and they were no longer that pretty and the quality is pretty low. The brother of Ms. Svendsen also acts weird around the shop and maybe because of Ms. Svendsens passing. I no longer recommend this shop. Try Buds-n-blooms just a block away.
Called from Rio Grande City, Tx to order a flower arrangement for my cousin’s funeral & got helped extremely well. Arrangement came out the way I wanted it. Very satisfied.

2022-05-06I had been happy twice before when I ordered flowers delivered to my mother from here, but this time it was extremely disappointing. Not only did the sad droopy flowers not resemble what I thought I was ordering for $100, but when it was brought to their attention, no apology or acknowledgement was made of how bad it was. They did take it back and bring another. It was better, but still dissapointing. Never again.

2022-05-18Ordered flowers from here on Mothers day and they were beautiful.... and are still in bloom. I have ordered a few times from Svendsen and have always had great flowers. I recommend them, and so does my mother :)

2022-03-09I was in there this morning to order flowers around $100 I needed. Was there 12 minutes . Not one person acknowledged me. A lady in a purple shirt came out and rang up a order. It was a big order. Never said a word. Like someone will be with you in a moment. Nothing. There was a man and a woman in the greenhouse area. There was people in the back doing arrangements. One had a St Patricks apron on. They all knew I was there. Bad customer service. I also wanted one of The St Patricks wreaths hanging on the cooler.I could have spent $200. 00 easily. The only person standing at counter was me.

2022-05-24Wonderful service from this Florist. My Grandmother passed away while I was on vacation and I only had one day when I got home to prepare myself for her viewing. I called every place in town and not one would agree to make me a bouquet short notice....except Svendsen. They had my arrangement ready for pick up within an hour and with all the colors I requested. The bouquet was absolutely gorgeous and ended up being the prettiest of all the flowers at her viewing. 2019-04-24Absolute horrible customer service. I came to buy a flower for a funeral tomorrow and in the end it was a very disappointing experience because We got no help at all.When we asked for help, we were actually discouraged due to the fact that the representative of the company talked us out of buying a plant for $20.Ive used their service 20 years ago but I probably wont be going back again in the next 20 years.

2021-05-08Great selection of flowers and plants. We always use svendsen florist for our floral needs. They are always ready and always on time for what we need for different types of needs. Very well organized staff and selection. There are always good ideas if you dont know what youre looking for they will give you great suggestions on what you can use for different occasions Etc.
