I highly recommend this Super Cuts! I’ve gotten haircuts from 3 different employees and they’ve all been great. Today I walked in with badly damaged hair from a botched attempt at home coloring and Stephanie did an amazing job. My hair cut looks chic, beautiful, and stylish. I felt so lucky! It’s one of the best haircut experiences I’ve ever had. Thank you for turning my bad day into a great one!

I got my hair cut by Stephanie and she did a wonderful job patiently listening to what I wanted and delivered exactly what I asked! As a bonus, she is a great conversationalist :)
Have gone about 4 times. 2 of those times, my hair was cut by an Asian lady. Both of those times, I had to go home and cut all of my hair by myself because she had done a terrible job. She did not listen to or understand what I was saying. She cut my hair in a manner COMPLETELY different to what I had asked for. Instead, she cut it in a way that she could. My hair was left too short, uneven, and just bad all around. I will never go back there again for fear that she might be the one attending me.
I was taken to a chair by someone who did not introduce herself. I showed her a picture (see #1 below) and asked for length just past my shoulders, and long layers like the picture. She cut the layers much shorter than the picture. So short that It will take 6+ months to even it out. I explained why I was not happy, showed her the picture again, and all she could say was, “you wanted long layers”. I said yes, like the picture. She did not say anything, just took me up to the front to pay. Never apologized or even acknowledged the error.
The customer service here is TERRIBLE. I called ahead and made an appointment. I showed up before my scheduled appointment time and then waited ONE HOUR before finally sitting down for a haircut. All of the people who I waited behind were walk-ins who did not have a scheduled appointment. No effort was made to check me in when I arrived. Even after they realized that I had scheduled an appointment it made no difference and I still had to wait. WHY ALLOW PEOPLE TO MAKE APPOINTMENTS AT ALL? Go to Sportclips in Evanston. You will spend a few dollars more but they have a functioning online appointment system and you will get a better quality haircut.Never again with this place.
Great stylists. Patient and respectful with my 7 year old and 3.5 year old. Clean. If ever a wait, they tell me exactly how long and I come back- none of that, just 20 min that turns into 45 min.
I have been coming here for several years. I like all the hairdressers. Stephanie does my hair and waxing. She is fun to talk to remembers peoples names and is very detailed and has good suggestions. Galina also gives a great cut and very nice to people. Please remember these ladies are on their feet all day and very few people complain. I think calling names and publicly trying to humiliate people is unkind and unnecessary. Why not talk to Sam and that employee directly and work it out. Bev Evanston
Supercuts is a awosome place and the one thing that make it great is the management and personal. I have been coming to this place for about 4 years after looking for a good barber in Evanston. I walked in here one day and that was it. I am not planning to go back to sny other place.
Its usually pretty good spot for a decent haircut. Every once in a while they are short staffed and there is a long wait. They will tell you if thats the case, though.
The staff is always friendly and accommodating. They offer cut, color, highlights, eyebrows, you name it, and you leave happy. Recommended!

Hair cut was 14$ fine, but I asked for hair dry at the end as it was wet but was charged and extra 13$ for 20sec of service which is very bad and unprofessional. It was just a normal hair cut service.

The quickest haircut I ever got, I was out within less than 10 min, but also asked for a simple cut. There wasnt any talking happening there, while too talkative can be annoying, absolutely nothing is also kinda weird. Good for a quick haircut and be done with it.

2022-07-09Its good if you are in a hurry and want the most basic non-interactive haircut.They charged extra 3.95$ on the name of hygiene, and this price is separately written on a piece of paper hidden at first look.The lady didnt introduce herself and didnt talk throughout the cut She looked in a hurry although no was waiting and finished within 5-6 minutes. There was a lack of effort and interest.Hair wash was extra charges. Didnt use hairdryer or anything to style the hair. Charged 21+$ for a plain cut without wash.

2022-03-01DO NOT EVER GET YOUR HAIRCUT DONE BY BEATRICE!!! She is not skilled to cut hair on a dog!! She used channeling or notching shears to cut my hair. On fine hair she trashed my hair. I was trying to grow it out!!! I told her not to cut my side she grabbed it and chopped it. She is not an educated stylist she is a lousy cutter. Never ever go to her if you value your hair and don’t want to look like a freak stay away!!! I have nothing good to say about her and if you know what” c you next Tuesday “means that is what she is!!! She has ZERO knowledge of what cutting hair is about!!!

2021-08-07Very good as usual! My stylist is Galena & she does a wonderful job cutting & coloring my hair. I dont let anyone else do my hair. I am an African American female & lve been going there for many years & recommended Supercuts to friends. However, I would like to know why there are no Black women on the pictures that are posted in the shop?

2021-06-02I have gone twice before and both were semi okay hair cuts but when I went earlier this week it was super quick and she asked if I wanted layers, which I said no to, but she still did. Hair looks like it was cut by a five year old. The lady who cut it didn’t even do what I asked for and was very cold about it when I asked her to trim it less. Would not recommend going here

2021-09-16One of the worst haircuts Ive ever had. I asked for an inch or so off the top of my mohawk and ended up with only about an inch of hair. the sides were shaved extremely badly, my partner had to re-shave me when I got home to get rid of the tufts the stylist left. she was also super rough with the clippers and at one point hit one of my earrings super hard, and she didnt even acknowledge it. you couldnt pay me to go back there.

2021-01-10Stephanie did a really great job and she was very attentive to my needs! This place has really good pricing and very friendly. As a college student at NU, its really hard to find somewhere good and cheap. Its a little far from campus but I would definitely rather travel farther to get a very good haircut

2021-04-26I do not recommend this place in the slightest. It wasn’t a welcoming environment. The lady that cut my hair rushed everything and butchered my head. Having hair that went without a haircut for 4 months shouldn’t take 10 minutes to cut. Easily the worst haircut I’ve ever had. Had to go to another salon to get it fixed. This place is not it
