Came in looking for a pawn loan to pay some bills till pay day and both associates were extremely friendly and accommodating to the amount I needed. Pawn shops can be seedy and difficult but this place is clean and professional to say the least. Absolutely recommend. They also have a great selection of items for purchase.

TTHIS PLACE ROCKS, see reviews from everyone else, no pawn shop has this high of a rating and there is a reason because they’re that good. Went to visit Angelo here for a Ladies Rolex Datejust they had for sale. I’ve been a Rolex fan for years but haven’t been able to afford one. In those years of yearning for one I’ve became very familiar with how to spot a fake and verify genuine ones. Since purchasing I’ve personally verified the authenticity of this Rolex by serial number and numerous other markings that are present on all Rolex timepieces. I found this particular watch online and if you’ve ever bought something online, particularly jewelry, you know that it is very easy for a seller to make the item appear much nicer than it is in person. Well, let me say this, when I took a look at the watch when I walked in it was in actuality BETTER than it’s online pictures. They had it professionally polished and cleaned and believe me it showed. Not polished to death which can easily happen(thus eroding the depth of the engravings) but polished perfectly. Their description was 100 percent accurate and Angelo as well as the other staff were exceptionally professional. If you have any doubts of that just see how in a previous review from an ex employee how well the owner handled that situation. Classy way to handle such nastiness big time and especially given that this is his livelihood she’s affecting he still manages to demonstrate professionalism. While shopping here I NEVER felt pressured. Even though I was handling a multiple thousand dollar watch I was not hawked over by Angelo and was given a lot of time to research online about the watch’s authenticity as well as take numerous photographs to send to my wife. All without the slightest pressure from him or whom I believe was the manager. Angelo even went so far to ask another customer if we could borrow their wrist so as to better ascertain how it would look on a woman’s wrist. In addition to outstanding watches they had a truly outstanding collection of diamond and gold jewelry all priced very, very reasonably. I definitely know diamond grading and can assure you that what they is stocked at probably 50% of what big box stores carry in terms of price. This place is a total gem and I’m super glad I found it. Not only did I get my Wife her Rolex in amazing condition but at a price that was far better than reputable online vendors such as crown and caliber and Bob’s in Chicago. If you know used Rolex’s you know those names. Truly professional outfit and thanks again to Angelo for his professionalism. I drove nearly two hours to get there in rush hour and if I had to do it again I’d drive 5 easily.

Came In here expecting a bit more due to the original price tag. I was utterly rude to Eric at first. I am apologizing here again for my rudeness, these guys understand the hard times at the moment and will work with you, at least Eric helped me out extremely with the deal I got for a loan. I can now pay my copay for my anxiety medicine, I just turned 26 and am off parents insurance freshly. These guys just saved my mental health and I’m extremely appreciative!!!!!!! If I didn’t have my medicine I would lose my job and house and sanity overall. The small loan came in handy. They even call you as a reminder of your loan/pawn near the pick up date. 20$ tax on top of loan but that is affordable (I think it was around 240% interest, with the option of extending the loan by paying another monthly increment of 20$ if needed). I will definitely be recommending Eric as an agent/specialist here for friends and family and the location itself. THEY DID NOT REACT AT ALL TO MY RUDENESS I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH PROFESSIONALISM IN MY LIFE! He calmed me down and reassured me I was getting a fair deal with everything in front of me, even added a little onto the loan so I could be comfortable, again sorry and so appreciative of your services. I will be back with a better attitude no doubt as they had won me over in the end.Summary aka Too long didn’t read: at the end of the day Eric helped me out, calmed me down, and was willing to negotiate or help/suggest items to hit my loan amount if I needed it, quite the sales specialist with how he handles situations, and I’m in sales as well, great job Eric and once again if you read this I’m sorry for coming at you with my stress and attitude, you did not deserve that at all, I should know better as I’m in sales/real estate and hospitality.GO HERE, ASK IF ERICS IN, AND SEE WHAT YOU CAN DO HERE WETHER ITS FOR SHOPPING, SELLING OR PAWNING(small loan option).This location wins over any Naperville pawn shop or gold buyer. I am comparing this to past experiences.Also many fine jewelry and designer bags like Burberry and Louis Vuitton/Gucci are here for sale!He totally understood my situation and my downfall I have been going through during covid-19. So yesterday I got a call from Sterling & Knight Pawn they mentioned that I had won their monthly $500 giveaway just for making a payment on my loan. Needless to say I was so estatic I couldnt believe it not only are they a professional and friendly establishment but I also love the fact they cater to their customers in such a way. I would recommend anybody interested in getting a loan or selling their items for some quick $$$$. I would dare to say that this is the best pawnshop franchise in the whole Chicagoland area!

Ive bought everything at this location from a laptop to diamond rings to tower speakers to a firearm. The personnel has always been patient with me trying on multiple pieces. Just sold some jewelry at this pawn shop. They take 30% of the scrap gold that you sell them. I made a call around to about six different pawn shops and they dont take any percent and at most 10% of the scrap gold that you sell them. Avoid this place.

We have many musical instruments, from old to new and high to low that we take down with no hassle and quick service, granted we have established ourselves there with several transactions, but in my opinion they offer this level of service to everyone. I was on the hunt for a stereo system to match my record player because, well, I just love listening to records and vintage audio. So i gave these folks a call and sure enough. I just recently started going to Sterling & knights pawn shop in Bolingbrook. I used to go to Cash America and to be honest I dont think Ill ever go back to Cash America after my experience at S&K pawn. What especially will keep me coming back there is the fact that the owners are very nice people who will work with you and make sure you leave there a satisfied customer. The owner there David was very nice and considerate, which is another reason why Ill continue going back there. They help you there if you need to bring in a item to get a loan on it to help you until pay day. Thats what I usually go there for when I want a loan on my laptop. They also provide other services there. They are most definitely worth doing business with! Check them out and give them a chance, you wont be disappointed!!! :)

Terrible pawn shop. Worst prices in town for sales and loans. They were happy to give me 50% off interest for my first loan, since it was on their website, but somehow they had no information when I picked the item up. Had to go through three different people to get them to honor their own promotion. They are extremely unprofessional even for this business. You are better off with a pay day loan or craigslist.

Selling my guitar to sterling is so much easier than going through other services such as eBay or Craig’s list, where There are risks. The Sterling people are friendly and very honest, which is hard to find these days.

I went into the store to sell my guitar AMP. I was expecting $50 for it, since I bought it bout a month prior on sale for $160 (original was around $250) and only used it a handful of times. They gave me freakin $150!Granted I keep my AMP off the floor, left no liquids near it, and dusted it once a week (and only had it for a month or two at most) so its mint condition.I do have to admit, at home the AMP works like a charm with my electric acoustic, and the electric epiphone I had before. But once I brought it into the shop the input button was flashing like their wasnt enough power going to the AMP. Im not an electric kinda guy so Im new to getting electrics to work, all I had to do for the epiphone was make sure the knobs were turned up. Scared me a bit cause I drove 20+ mins to the shop.But the customer service was great. The woman (beautiful I might add) was very helpful and got me in and out of there within 15-20 mins.PROS: Well kept shop, decent amount of stuff to look through, small but big enough to have a crowd of people in without it getting too uncomfortable, and very professional. If you know what the basics of a good guitar are, you CAN and WILL find a great guitar for the price, but BEWARE.CONS: All I can think of is that the acoustics they have on sale are overpriced as hell! Im not an electric kinda guy but theyre selling pretty mediocre/sketchy electric guitars for more than Id ever buy. If youre looking for a good cheap electric just go to Guitar Center or another retailer.OVERALL: Good shop. Would visit again since I had a pleasant experience.

This review is for the young lady 3rd from the left in the staff photo(I apologize for not remembering your name). I came in today before close with the vintage Gucci purse. I genuinely would love to know what I did for you to be so disrespectful when talking to myself and my girlfriend today? Honestly. I showed you and your staff nothing but respect and never became irrate in any way shape or form during the visit. I came in for information on my item more than anything(I even called ahead to make sure that theyd be able to help out). I did ask for a $100 pawn(I made sure to make it clear from the start I had no intentions on selling) because I just started a new job, got a new car for work(Hummer), and that $100 would have helped with gas until I got my first pay check. I am giving context because she called my girlfriend and I sketchy(she said it was sketchy what we were doing) because of the loan we were asking compared to an original appraisal I got on the purse($1000). Already kind of baffled, I attempted to explain to her that its okay if I cant get the loan and that I would just like to learn more about my product if possible( I even asked how she searched it or even if she knew anyone who could help because I wont sell it until I know exactly the model number), however, she cut me off and said, No, youre not listening to me. Listen. Followed by a stare of disgust at me(For what?). She again repeated that this looked sketchy and then showed me items similar, but not the same, to mine. She ended with, we got the money, if you got the right collateral. Had she not have cut me off while speaking, given me an unwarranted dirty staredown, and talk down to me, she would have known I just needed help pointing me in the right direction of what I was looking for and not about the money. Truthfully, I have no idea why I had to drive over a half hour to be belittled when all I wanted was help. I get people have bad days, but that wasnt okay. How could I feasibly recommend this place to anyone?

Sold me car speakers. Promise they were in the car and tested, there were no wires even in the Box speakers blown, trouble returning them. Do not shop here. They do not care about you!!!!

Great place to get a loan, I have came here multiple times and received nothing but great service. People have to be objective when it comes to values and be realistic. If you dont like the prices they give you, you can always try Craigslist, Ebay or any number of sites that can serve your purpose. As far as i am concerned these guys will have my business.

2022-03-22First time visiting a pawn shop in my life thought I’d give it a shot seeing what my Xbox One would go for before I just gave it away to a friend and I can honestly say I was completely satisfied with the experience. Worked with Robbie who was fair and really welcoming and informative walking in the door and even managed to throw in a little extra after working out a deal with me which I was more than happy to make . Would most definitely recommend anybody trying this spot out especially if you never been inside a pawn shop before and just wanna see what they can do . Will be returning in the future no question.

2021-05-23I went into the pawnshop today in search of a camera lens for my Canon. I had ordered one from Amazon that ended up being a complete fail. But here at Sterling and Knight not only did they take care of me right away they showed me all my options available for me. I ended up buying the 75-300mm lens which is in great condition and it came with the box. And the best part it was very affordable I saved money by coming here vs Amazon had it prices a lot higher and it was the used option. Lauren and Israel thank you for my lens it works great I absolutely love it!

To spend adequate time training employees in an effort to prevent patrons from walking away with a utility bill.. it was an experience overall but the instruction/policy they receive from (assuming) the top is down right ignorant and lost this store a few hundred dollars.Ive done business with the other location (assuming ownership is the same) and left very pleased, evertime...A recent visit to the Bolingbrook branch only served up a boiling hot cup of disappointment and frustration into the lap of my happy day.Highly recommended if bringing in simple, non-confusing items whose value is blatantly obvious.-frustrated, not mad, former loyal customer.
