Consistently slow and on and off drink quality even before the pandemic. I go only because its close by. I understand being understaffed even now but over 20 minute wait and no line moving 2 times in a week ? I normally hate writing reviews like this but out of all the Starbucks Ive been to this one always seems to have problems.
The slowest Starbucks I have been to.The worker was talking to her friends for like 10 or more minutes holding up the hole drive thru line. When we get there the drink was not even ready we waited another 10 min just for are drink then the lid popped off when she gave it to us never again.
I Love this starbucks its chill but they take pretty long and if there 1 tiny mistake they give you a refund +its very good coffee I suggest the hot or iced pumpkin spice latte its way to good I order large and that around 7.43$ but its worth it for the flavor bomb. Its very clean and more!
How can they make you wait 20 mins in line AND another 20 minutes for your drink to be handed to you?? I had to know on the window and interrupt them chatting away !! What a shame it is to have a Starbucks so close and yet so unprofessional!! They need to pick up the pace !!
Wow dont know what the hell happened there but drive through service was slowest i have ever seen. Peoples oders not being filled until you get up to window and everyone inside as far as workers just standing there talking. Why have a drive through. Got home and my hot chocolate was a cup of hot water with whipped cream on top.
I have been a customer at this Starbucks location for at least 5 years, it has consistently gotten slower, and slower in service. Today, my drive thru experience was 20 minutes from start to finish. Upon getting my order my coffee was incorrect and my breakfast sandwich was cold. Extremely disappointed.
My drink was not mixed all of the way and I had gotten sips of powder. A lot of coffee was on the lid and spilled all over my white shirt. I was very displeased with this service. The barista at the window was not very personable and seemed as though he had wanted to get me out as soon as possible even though they were not crowded. The overall experience was mediocre at best, I would recommend going to the Starbucks on 159th and Harlem. The sevice at that location is very pleasant.
Poor service the last time I went. I sat by the order speaker for nearly 5 minutes with the window down in the rain because they werent ready to take my order yet. After they finally did take my order and when I got up to the window to pay, they had run out of 1 of the 2 items I ordered. Then the employee at the window who took my payment, was then on the phone with who seemed to be another employee and was complaining she had to stay later than scheduled. My latte was lukewarm to top it off.
I echo other peoples comments here, speaking to how rude some of the people working here are, particularly their manager, short girl with glasses. She always seems flustered when she takes my order, apprehensive. No other Starbucks I frequent do I get this kind of treatment. The manager seems to have anger issues and doesnt like her job. Honestly it cant be that miserable to work for Starbucks, I hear they pay well and have good benefits.I counted at least 4 flies in the front lobby, some flying on me. I asked if they have a fly swatter. She said no, basically I had to deal with it (it is summer, or well, autumn and she cant control that. I get it but what are they doing about it? Going from past reviews, this seems to be a consistent problem here.I could continue complaining but for me the real issue is being made to feel patronized, as if Im not welcome here. I would recommend going a few more miles up the road to Starbucks Tinley Park on 159th and Harlem, my favorite location. Everyone is friendly and they make good drinks! Also I notice they try to keep organized, clean. I get it sometimes they get overwhelmed with customers, esp adolescents who can be messy.There are a few people here who are friendly, courteous and helpful. Other than that, Im not frequenting this particular location anymore.
I live 2 miles away and this store is the only Starbucks I pass on my commute. I put my mobile order in 5+mins between ordering and arriving at the store. Time after time again, there is a crowd of people standing at the end of the bar waiting for their drinks and they havent even started on my order yet. I have never had a problem with mobile ordering at other locations and dont mind waiting as long as its within the estimated ready time on the app. But after waiting 10+mins PAST the window on several occasions and not being able to cancel mobile orders due to wait time I can no longer justify ordering from this location in the mornings.
If I could give them 0 stars, I would.I came here yesterday afternoon in a hurry, so I went to the drive thru. Once taking my order, we waited 15 minutes (we counted) until we got to one car in front of us and I lost my patience. The girl at the counter was leaning over and just chit chatting to the driver of the car, not a care in the world that there was a huge line behind her. 15 minutes and I couldnt get my simple, overpriced coffee. ABSURD.
I come here every Saturday and today when I went to order my iced caramel macchiato, I was very dissappointed. This starbucks is quite busy, so I didnt mind the wait... but when I got my caramel macchiato with coconut milk, the drink literally had an after taste of burnt rubber and was very sour. I thought I was goin crazy, but my sister tried it and she said the same thing. My sisters drink on the other hand was just straight up cold milk. Dont remember the girls names making the coffee, but they were both very confused as to what was going on and rulled their eyes...debating if Ill be stopping by here next week.
The store hours never match the online hours. Waited in line for 15 mins and when I pulled up to order she told me they wete closed even though they had a huge line of cars. When we tried to tell her we’ve been in line for 10 minutes she just turned off the mic and stopped responding. I pulled up to order at 1:45pm. It shows online they’re suppose to be open until 2:00pm because of COVID.
Very friendly service. However the drivethru has become impossibly slow in recent months. I will sit multiple minutes without moving. Several times I have been forced to leave the line or be late to work. I expected this to get better after the location north of here opened, but it hasnt.
Super quite when I came in, no music and the girl seemed inexperienced but it was no reason for the manager to give her a hard time about it.. Sometimes I feel that place is understaffed and cant seem to hold any of their workers long enough for me to know them by name. Oh well.
So I wanted to try the new birthday cake frap and see what the hype is about....I get it, I pull away, I put my straw in, I go to take a sip, and there is a hair in it. I drove back and all they barely said was sorry. What is wrong with customer service?! Very disappointed!
I ordered a vanilla latte and it was by far the most disgusting latte I have ever tasted. Something tasted horribly wrong. It had an extremely bitter taste. Buying that drink was like throwing five dollars in the garbage.. Been going here for years but will no longer be a customer.
I love, luv Starbucks however I had never been in one that was in such poor condition- there were gnats/flies all over, There seemed to be a concentration in the ladies room, I still attempted to order but stood a full 2 minutes w/o being acknowledged I finally walked out after I saw a gnat fly in the dessert case. Never seen anything like it in Starbucks.
This starbucks is the worst in the area, they constantly manage to brew bitter bunrt tasting Americana, at least they are friendly when they serve you this inferior product. Sometimes they brew good coffee though not too often ;-)). The only reason I go there is because its convenient during my morning commute.
The charging pads on the tables did not work in the entire store, when I asked the cashier she said, oh, those dont work, sorry. This same cashier nastily said to me that I shouldve told her I wanted to use bonus stars for my purchase. Apparently I inconvenienced her.
Last 3x I have been there, they have messed my mobile order up. Today, I waited 15 minutes for Egg Bites just for them to tell me they didnt have them only after I inquired about my order due to the long wait. I go to Starbucks in multiple suburbs and in multiple locations in the city due to variety in my daily work commute and I have never had a Starbucks mess up as much as this one. Ill be hitting Starbucks in the city prior to my Palos Height commute from now on because my schedule does not allow me to make up for these types of errors.

2022-06-09This is one of the best Starbucks locations around. Always very fast even when theyre busy. The staff is always upbeat and the other customers are usually friendly as well! All in all a great experience every visit

2022-06-22I HAVE BEEN COMING HERE FOR AT LEAST 8 YEARS. LATELY, WHOEVER IS MAKING THE DRINKS DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO MAKE A MOCHA. I DONT HAVE TIME TO GET BACK IN LINE TO GET IT RIGHT. IN THE PAST MONTH AT LEAST 5 TIMES THERE WAS NO CHOCOLATE IN THE DRINK. TASTES MORE LIKE A LATTE BUT NOT EVEN A GOOD LATTE.VERY UPSET THAT TODAY I WAITED IN LINE FOR A DRINK THAT AGAIN I HAVE TO THROW OUT.TIME TO FIND A DIFFERENT LOCATION.

2022-05-27The place was crowded. I ordered a sandwich and coffee and began to sit down at the only remaining open table but I was stopped by an employee and told that she needed to use the table. Really? I came to Starbucks this afternoon specifically because I needed a place to work and eat at the same time. Not very customer friendly.

2022-04-15Two weeks ago I gave a bad review to this store I believe in second chances, the ladies are friendly and courteous it’s a nice way to start the day a good cup of coffee and a friendly smile from a pretty lady.

2021-12-13Oh my god I wish I could give them 0 stars. I always like to do my orders online & when I pay for extra toppings they never put any extra toppings & when you ask them they care about the line. They are extremely slow even if you’re the only one in line. Honestly their drinks don’t even taste good. Someone please fix this location staff.

2022-03-31My daughter order on the app but somehow the order wasnt ready and something got added. They were nice about it and straightened everything out.
