Baristas were amazingly helpful but the menu was not. If youre not a regular customer, youd be very confused about what you want. Thank God for the staff!
Store hours show that they close at 9 o’clock. I am on the freeway with a truck and trailer but I still have 20 minutes till they close by the time I get there. I get there and they’re closed so I called the phone number and the man on the phone says they’re closed for the evening. I do not understand why you would close early specially when you are located off the freeway when travelers go out of their way to come to your location. Bad management.

This particular Starbucks is very busy and the way the drive through is, is very well....not in a good place. That being said the food/beverages and the staff there are always great! My personal drink is Venti Vanilla Bean Frappucinno with 6 hazelnut and 6 toffenut pumps with sweet cream added. Its AMAZEBALLS!
I love this place! There are some very kind individuals who work here and make it even more difficult to curb my addiction. My coffee is always on point and the service is great.
Soo busy.. but understandable on a Saturday morning. Drive thru was around the building so, I went inside and found a few brand new tumblers for the month of June that they just put out while I was waiting for my coffee. Friendly staff too!

I dont know what is going on with this store. In the past 6 weeks, I have went through the drive thru 3 times. Each time, my order was wrong. The fist two times they made grande sized drinks when I ordered and paid for Venti (sticker even said Venti blonde roast w/SC). Then tonight I ordered two grande vanilla sweet cream Nitro cold brews; what I received were two grande nitro cold brews with a splash of sweet cream and a straw....I didnt bother going back through this time to fix the order.

Terrible service you are waiting 15 to 20 min after your order time says it will be ready. Also they mix up my hott and cold drinks Everytime I have to have it remade. The drive thru doesnt get used properly people use the drive In area of the strip mall blocking traffic from getting to other stores when you can see clearly that the actual drive thru for the building sits empty. It does not make any sense why they can get there drive to be used the correct way and why they cant train their barista on how too make drinks the is the sole job if this place is to make drinks
My drink is always great but EVERYTIME i go there i ask for lite ice and they never do that, they always make my drink mostly ice which is very irritating considering it happens everytime. i don’t know if they just don’t read the label but i’m just annoyed.
I had to wait in line and then cancel my order because they didn’t have change. They were very rude about it and said they only carry ones and fives. I’ve never had issues at any other Starbucks paying cash.

Drinks are fantastic, however, youre likely to wait 15-20 mins for a drink by the time you make it through the line from order to pick-up. Love the drinks-longer than normal lines.
Stopped by here visiting friends at EIU. Service was quick, drinks were amazing, and even though they were super busy, the servers were very nice (special shout-out for Aislinn, who was very excited and positive and complimented each of my friends and the drinks we ordered!). Will stop by again if Im in area
The worst Matcha I’ve ever drank!
Waited over 15 mins for coffee and sandwich order. We ordered holiday lattes and they were horrible, tasted like watered down coffee,not espresso,and no flavor to them at all. We travel into this area monthly to visit family, this was our second time at this store with the same results. Wont be returning.
Starbucks Matoon IL, is poorly managed. Ordered a black coffee and waited 10 minutes before commenting. The manager asked if I had a problem and I said yes, why am I waiting this long for a black coffee. She said I had to wait in line like everyone else. She was aggressive and rude. Maybe she should go to another Starbucks and watch them. Normally who ever takes the order, turns around and fills the cup, takes them 10 seconds.
My wife seems to like their coffee, but I find the burnt beans they use to misrepresent what is supposed to be a naturally bitter coffee. Its a cheap stunt that seems to serve them well. Im no being a troll, I am simply not a fan of their product.

Starbucks staff very friendly! They asked how my day was going and I mentioned I had just won a Triathlon and was celebrating it with a tea and oatmeal!! She wrote me a congratulations note and put it with my order!! That made me smile!!😊
Almost always busy with a long drive thru line and wait time. I suggest ordering 20-30min ahead with the app.
Used the mobile order service. It sounds like it may have some glitches still. While my order was messed up a little, the staff were more than accommodating in rectifying it. Not only did I get a free drink, but I also got a $4 gift card since I had to wait for them to get my order correct.
People there are awesome just always busy takes 20/30 min to get your coffee because 100 people always need coffee at the same time so definitely need more locations!
I only ever get the strawberry frappuccino from here when I go once a month, but Im never disappointed! Very good and everyone is super nice!
I love their coffee but HATE their prices!! Especially when the one I normally get is $5+ and then the other day it was over $6 and they didnt even have the salt for the salted caramel!!! BUT they are always fast and friendly!!!
I was very disappointed today. I got there at 1:52 and was told they are cutting off the line because they close at 2:00. I drove half an hour just to go to Starbucks. I would suggest start cutting the line off at 2:00 if your hours say 2:00!!! Your hours are when you are OPEN and usually customers are still able to enter until CLOSED.

Terrible customer service. The workers were chatting with their friends while working. Flies were all over the food in the display case. I ordered a Chai Tea Latte and waited 10 minutes only to be told they didn’t have it. Very disappointed.
Typical visit to Starbucks, this time a bought a old fashioned glazed donut. $1.95. Tasted suprisingly decent for being a packaged donut. I would ask for it to be warmed next time.
Theres this one barista there. I think his name was Kaleb or something like that. Anyway, hes a saint. He should get a raise. I dont even care how much he currently makes just keep giving him a raise keep it coming.

I was coming home and my wife and I stopped in to the location in Charleston Illinois and the food and the services was terrible .The food appearance was terrible. I felt disrespected that they bring us that food. So I thought about it for a minute and we decided to leave that location. Very disappointed.

2019-06-16The staff are very friendly and always greet you when you walk in! They also are great at keeping the place exceptionally clean. The building itself is nice, and the decorations suit it. The outside seating area is nice as well, and always clean. You can also buy many coffee related items that are not food or snacks here, including cute mugs and cups. The food tastes great too, and it usually is not too long of a wait.

2021-12-13I am currently making it a point to go to Charleston Starbucks due to the current staff issues. Im guessing they are training a bunch of new staff. We have had so many issues that its not worth the frustration to go in. So maybe we will try again in a month or so. Works boring food or it not being heated up. Forgetting to put butter that you have asked for and been reassured its in your bag. Not knowing how to put money on your card and THEN, letting you pay with your card. Wrong breakfast sandwiches. No napkins, no spoon.etc..... hope they get their staff trained soon.

2022-01-06I am from out of town but have been in the past a Starbucks manager in the Kansas city area. I spotted to go through the drive thru and while sitting there,, they come out and tell me that they are closing due to staffing issues. Im sorry you can at least let the prime in line place their order. There is a reason why the store manager gets paid salary. If there is a staffing issue close the lobby and just have drive thru. It takes only 2 peyote to run the drive thru. I know this because my store was a dt. But instead you want to close the entire store because of staffing. I wanted the dm or the regional phone number and I couldnt get it.This is just poor business.
