A lady in scrubs with a cigarette finally helped me figure it out, no signs, NO PRIVACY, other confused drivers, they block you in to the garage-which is confusing as you pull up because you can’t see how you’ll be able to get out. I accidentally watched a lady gag on a swab. I didn’t mean to violate her privacy but it was right out my window. The lack of privacy for a medical establishment ought to be illegal, I thought it was!I didn’t like pulling into a garage for a test in my car. I wasn’t given any other choice and it felt dirty and awkward. The location was difficult to find and inconvenient to begin with, there were no signs from the street with directions and other drivers were just as confused as I was. The attendant was condescending and acted like she just wanted to rush me through (there was no one behind me and other bays were open at the time). I was forced to take a test that was irrelevant to my health circumstances, but if I didn’t, relevant treatment was going to be denied…so being forced to do something medical in a confusing, dirty-looking garage was degrading.I’m considering cancelling any future relationships with Springfield Clinic. I’m sure I could find another establishment that doesn’t herd their patients into a garage so they can watch each other be poked and prodded for unnecessary tests.
The girls who drew blood for my A1C labs were excellent. I am a very hard stick and both girls were so gentle and kind. They had to try for some time and kept apologizing. I reassured them that this was normal. I was very impressed with the staff and would definitely come back to that site for any lab work. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
From the attendant at the desk in the lobby, to the check in personnel in admitting, to every nurse and every Doctor; to the nurse who wheeled me out to our car after my procedure. All conducted themselves with top of the line care and with genuine kindness and helpfulness. Thank you all for not just performing your job with efficiency but with the highest level of compassion that often is so lacking from those who work in the public eye. My wife and I couldnt stop talking about the five star treatment we received. You are all rendering care the way it should be done, and service like this Im sure is the norm at Springfield Clinic. I would be remissed if I forgot to give a shout-out to Lorna Doones in recovery. How did you know, my favorite! God bless you all.
I walked into Springfield Clinic having a respiratory emergency expecting to be turned away and sent to the ER or ExpressCare. From the moment I arrived at the reception desk they gave me nothing but the best care and attention. The receptionist quickly stopped what she was doing and was totally attentive to my needs. She made sure she got a hold of the nurse as quickly as possible alerting them of my issue. They could’ve turned me away and told me that I need to go to the ER but they didn’t. They kept a watchful eye over me every couple moments to make sure I was OK. They quickly rushed me to the back to take care of my respiratory issue . I was having an asthma attack that I could not control. I ended up seeing my pulmonologist (Dr. Mona) and getting a steroid injection to stop the attack. Thank God for the caring people of Springfield Clinic during my time of need. This is why I always return to MY Springfield Clinic . Thank you
The lady was disrespectful and hung up because you have to have a referral to be COVID tested. Which makes zero since. These labs are always vacant so for a nurse to be that disrespectful she should lose her job. Their never busy these labs are not being benefited now that COVID is less severe. They need to incorporate them better and be more professional.
I was let into a drive thru bay before I had a chance to register on the phone. No one came to speak to me for at LEAST15 minutes. The registration phone number was not posted anywhere inside so I had no way to make the call to register. I finally called the Springfield Clinic phone number to get help. I was put through to a registrar. I was the attended to within a few minutes after that.It is very disturbing that not one person spoke to me, checked to see if I was alright or let me know that I needed to register or HOW to register.
Had to get a covid test....a lot of cars waiting at Cook testing site, but was soon inside and my turn. A very friendly nurse who was not only quick, but competent - easy peasy! Been here many times for myself, mom, daughter and granddaughters and never an issue. Always quick and sooooo easy!
Whoever the lady was working the phone this morning 12/3/20 was very rude. If you don’t like your job, then quit! Healthcare is not the field you need to be in if you can’t simply answer the phone without an attitude and cut people off every 5 seconds, especially when we’re in the middle of a pandemic and people need you to help them get set up for a covid test. This is unprofessional at the least!

2022-07-01The drive-up facility on South Sixth street was a quick and easy way to get your Covid test done. Upon arrival, we called the number on the sign to register. It then only took a couple minutes to finish with the test. Simple and stress-free experience.

2022-07-14Wonderfully easy experience! I just wish the employees didnt have to be exposed to the extreme elements so much. Hard to do the job when youre too hot or too cold!

2022-06-09Having this drive up lab option available is great! I was able to pull up, in pouring rain, before work, and get blood drawn without getting out in the rain. Not to mention the ease of not having to park or take the time to walk anywhere. The greeter and lab tech were very friendly and efficient. I was in and out in about 5 minutes!

2022-06-14Very easy to find the location, clearly marked, easy to understand instructions when you pull up to the bay. After you call the number indicated they register you and you pull into the bay. You are greeted immediately and told what to expect. The nurse then administers the test, you are told when to expect results, then you are sent on your way! Couldn’t be any easier!

2022-06-07First time to ever use a drive up testing facility. Was not very busy and we were done and gone within 10 minutes. Makes it easier than going through everything at a hospital or clinic. Very pleasant young lady did the blood draw. Overall a good experience.

2022-07-07First of all it is a drive up facility. Don’t do as I did and walk up, they really don’t like that! In the end they did do my labs. They were very pleasant working in a very hot environment. I would use them again, just in my car.

2022-06-16My son is 5 and has difficulty with needles, as I’m sure most children do. The staff at the drive up lab were AMAZING. 3 of them total came and helped calm him and/or distract him. I was extremely grateful that they worked so hard to get my sons blood drawn so we can closely monitor his health concerns. It wasn’t easy and they didn’t give up. Thank you so much.
