Frank and Jenny are always able to achieve the look I’m going for and really make sure you’re happy with the result! For pedicures, Amy is amazing!

Its a little gem of a nail salon. I have been going there for a number of years. They are very skilled in nail art of all types. Jenny and Frank are great.
Made an appointment, started on time. Came for a full set and pedi. Nail lady didnt even talk to me besides asking what I want, I tried to make small talk. Maybe 30 mins was spend on my nails. The pedi wasnt great either just disappointed since I moved so close. Probably wont come back
They accommodated a last minute appointment which was great, but appeared annoyed when I asked for a dip rather than a no-chip and regularly left me to wait with no communication about the delays. I pointed out a miscolored spot during the process which was ignored and remained in my final manicure. After asking for a matte finish, a shiny topcoat was applied and it started peeling off within days. Overall, disappointing first experience.
Ive gone there numerous times before and they always do a good job. However, we made an appointment for 7 people today (granddaughters birthday) but having an appointment seemed to make no difference whatsoever. The first person in our group got seated about 30 minutes after our scheduled appointment, the last didnt get started till over an hour later. Fortunately, the little girls were patient but it was frustrating to have to wait so long and there was no real mention of the fact that we did have to wait. Like I said, the manicures and pedicures are good and I will continue going there when its just me - but appointments dont seem to mean anything.
Awesome atmosphere, smells great, looks clean, and my nails always look awesome! My dad and I always come here for a little bit of self treatment every now and then and its great when they remember us. Sometimes I feel like Im not a priority though when it gets even a little busy. The prices here are really reasonable though and the art these guys can do is incredible, plus the color variety is awesome and I rarely have issues with chips and if I do, they are quick to fix!

Best place to get your nails done at. Not only is everything super clean its family owned by great people!!! I honestly have issues going other places because of fear of it being dirty or contracting something but here I feel completely at ease!Beautiful work they doIf you see a nail thats off they fix it til you are happy.Great people great please and Frank is an amazing artist!
I use to go here all the time but the last two times were terrible. I waited over an hour after my 4 oclock appointment to be told Im lucky she 5 oclock appointment canceled or I wouldnt have been seen. Both times my gel nails were wide and rushed. My nails started to break off before 2 weeks. I dont know what happened over the years but you shouldnt waste you time.
The people were great my nails look awesome I would recommend to anyone looking for good quality work. It was so clean I got both my hands and feet done. This is my new go to shop for my nails. Artwork no chip was amazing. Thank u. I will be recomending more people. Thanks ladys. I appreciate you.
I will start this honest review by saying I have NEVER been treated more disrespectfully or received more demoralizing customer service like I did at Spirit Nail Salon in Island Lake. I came in at 5pm Saturday because their hours on Maps app say they open every day from 9:30-7:30pm. The front desk lady took me in and as I was choosing my color, I was told repeatedly by the nail tech to “hurry! You need to hurry because I’m staying here for you, we close at 5” with such a nasty attitude, and when I told them that I didn’t know because online it says they close until 7:30pm they disregarded it and continued speaking in their language to each other while rolling their eyes. I was rushed without even being allowed to get a word in to sit down and finish choosing my color from the seat. I was speechless. If that wasn’t humiliating enough (because they had shouted at me in front of two other customers and their full staff) the nail tech did my nails for probably two minutes, all while continuing to communicate with the other staff without my understanding making me feel beyond uncomfortable, then abruptly got up leaving me for another nail tech to finish my nails. ?!?!? *mind you, I hadn’t said a WORD to them during all of this* I was in disbelief at this point. Another tech had to step in and finish my nails. They all continued taking advantage of speaking to each other in their language knowing I don’t understand, while I sat there for the next 30 mins. The level of rudeness is beyond me, as it should be to anyone reading this. THIS is how Spirit Nails treats customers, it is NOT OKAY. Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE to treat any human this way, especially when their only justification for acting this way was because I came in near their closing time which was NOT my fault - they need to update their hourly schedule on Maps or they shouldn’t have taken me in to begin with!. SHAME OF A BUSINESS. All of them. For watching and allowing this kind of treatment to happen.
This nail salon is the best. I have been going to Jenny for years. All of the staff there is great!!! Its clean, welcoming, and very professional. Personally if I ever felt violated as in a previous review stated I would have immediately spoke with the owner and not let him finish.
My 2 friends and I went to this Spirit Nails and got mani-pedis. One of my friend’s nails were done beautifully. Mine were done fine but my other friend had a terrible experience. Her lady yelled at her and sighed a deep sigh when my friend asked her to go over one nail again. It took a while. Slight chance I’d go back.
Been coming here for years and recently new staff has been added and they are BEYOND RUDE!!! While I’m picking my polish a new staff member wouldn’t stop coming over and trying to rush me and my friend to pick a color while I told her numerous times that I’m still picking!!! Another new staff lady tries to over charge me EVERY TIME because she is greedy for a big tip but when I have the regular staff they charge me normal price. Never going back again.
I love the atmosphere of this place, everyone is very nice always busy it seems and my nails look amazing. I always get completed on my nails and they are up to date with all the trends and new colors. Well priced too!
Cant say enough good things about this place. Always attended to quickly, whether I have an appointment our not. My nails last over two weeks, and they pay attention to any requests. They will even copy looks you find in pics or on Pinterest.
I’ve heard nothing but good things about this place. I came in and waited about an hour for just a pedicure. Once we got our seats for pedicures, I waited another hour with my feet in the water. Once they got to my feet, they were fast, made me bleed, horrible. The only good thing about it was the foot massage. Seriously beyond rude. I would never recommend someone to come here.
Spirit nail spa is ready for business and keeping their customers safe. They are limiting appointments, have clear plastic separators between employees and customers, use a file and buffer you take home with you, and everyone wears masks. I felt completely safe.
As I compose this review, it’s been four days since I got a regular mani-pedi and my polish is still intact. Mae (I think is her name) worked wonderfully and my regular mani/pedi looks almost flawless!I’m probably one of 0.1% in the population to still get a regular, basic mani/pedi and prefer my nails cut short. Some salons just do not seem to take that seriously and almost always push me to get no chip blah blah and after declining, I’d get a less than stellar job for a regular mani. Having said that, it felt somewhat life changing how Mae worked on my nails oh so meticulously clipping and filing and clipping and filing again to make sure my nails are tidy and well filed before she painted my nails. For the affordable price, Mae made it a luxurious experience.
So disappointed in my pedicure. He cut my nails terribly and there was polish all over the skin by my toenails after he was done. Hardly buffed/exfoliated my feet as well. Won’t go back here again.Only positive is they use liners in the pedicure tubs.

Prices are good. Asked nail specialist to please remove super glue from under my nails. Her response, she didnt have to, that it would come off when one takes a shower. Its SUPER GLUE!!!
Got a no-chip and regular pedicure here. Cost me $60. The guy cut 3 of my fingers badly. They bled for about twenty minutes. Its been 2 days and the no-chip is already chipping 2 days later. You cant tip on a credit card, either, which is a hassle. Id never go back.
Im new to the area and been looking for a new nail salon. I havent had much luck, I came across this salon and it looked nice from the outside so I decided to try it out. The salon was ok, pretty clean than most salons in the area so I was staying positive about it until I sat down! The desk wasnt clean, he proceeded to pull his tools from his drawer. Which i was totally disgusted about I didnt know if they were clean! All tools should be taken from 1. Sterilizing machine or 2. Straight out the package. Then the man was pulling my cuticles and he happen to see he had a cuticle that need to be cut and then proceeded to cut his own cuticle and go back to cutting mine WITH THE SAME TOOL!!! I couldnt believe it! I should have stopped him right there!! I really dont recommend this place. This is how people catch fungus and end up loosing a nail or even get an infection!!!

I walk in the front door and nobody greets me. I sign in and then sit down. I wait over 15 minutes and then ask how long the wait is for a polish change and a wax. The lady says 20 minutes on top of the 15 I had already been sitting there. The customer service is terrible and overall its not sanitary.

When I was here I was gettin a mani! And the girl I had yelled at me to “Open my hands” and she seemed annoyed that there was a bump in my nail. The rest of the staff was amazing and helpful.

Been here a bunch of times and always had a good experience until this last & FINAL time that I went in, not only did they not push the acrylic all the way to the cuticle but they made me feel like my business doesn’t matter so I will take my money elsewhere, hasn’t even been a week and my nails already look three weeks overdue 👎🏼👎🏼
Had a mani pedi done and my mani looks like a toddler painted the nails when it was dried. Very frustrating when you have a wedding to ho to the next day

2022-06-05I came for a pedicure and manicure, I loved my manicure, but my pedicure was a disappointment. I had the basic pedicure that costs 30 dollars. The women who took me spent only 22 minutes, this includes paint, cleaning, soaking, etc. Quickest pedicure Ive ever been given. A nail salon is not a car wash, in a car wash all I want is the end result, but at a nail salon I want relaxation and an enjoyable experience. Lastly, once she finished my short pedicure, she forced me to move to the manicure section immediately after! No time for my toes to dry at all! It was nails express.Another complaint I have is you raised your prices but made no effort to inform your clients beforehand. I am addressing the little yellow sticky note saying some prices have changed. Write the price changes on a board and make sure to inform your clients of the price changes beforehand. Because seeing a ten dollar price increase from what your price said on the paper and what I was being charged seeming like I was being scammed, especially after my express pedicure. Make sure to print your new prices on a large sign in the front of the salon, or else Im assuming you are falsely advertising for your own benefit, which is a disgusting business practice.

The facility is clean, welcoming, and the staff is so friendly... you can tell they want the best service for their clients.I am really picky about my nails and this was my first time going to Spirit Nails and they did a phenomenal job, exceeded my expectations. No questions asked they did exactly what I wanted.I already booked my next appointment, confident that I will be a returning customer. Five stars all the way!!

2022-05-08I used to love this place always had great service. My last appointment was not taken until over 20 minutes after I was scheduled. The lady completely rushed my nails. Not a single nail is properly done. every single one of my acrylics are messed up and poorly done, they are all bumpy and uneven. absolutely hate the job she did im very disappointed. She also cut me aswell during her rushed service.

2022-06-05I took me and my daughter for a manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was the worst I had in the 20 minutes it took her to work on me. Then I go to pay and he tells me the cost which is different then the brochure and he said they increased their prices which are posted no where in the salon. If you pay with a debit or credit card they charge a 4% fee. It was my first time in this salon and my last time.

2022-03-09Great place, she did a nice job. But, there was a sign saying, No Tips on Credit Cards please. So when I went to pay, I asked if I could tip on my Debit Card. They said, “No. No tipping on any cards.” They’re not the same thing, so make sure you have CASH.

2022-05-21If I could give 0 stars I would. Called to make an appointment at 11am on a Saturday for myself, SIL, and mom. Had to clarify 3 times over the phone what type of service we wanted because the gentleman could not understand what I was saying. We arrived the next day right on time to be told that someone by the same name called and cancelled our appointments. Which was completely untrue. Instead of just apologizing, the gentleman sat there an argued with me. He stated he could maybe fit us in, in 30mins because they just had 4 walkins. Thats not my problem, YOU cancelled my appointment. Needless to say, I will never return. I took my mom and SIL else where, we were beautifully accommodated G Nail Spa in Lakemoor.

2022-03-02Jenny and Frank are the best!! Unbelievable attention to detail. Show them a picture and they will not only duplicate it but do it better! Prices are extremely reasonable, support local businesses! Photo is jade marble with gold flakes. Each nail is a different and unique piece of art done by Frank.
