Ordered drive thru on the evening of the 26th of July the workers were young took my debit card closed window came back about 5 min later with card an order asked for my receipt 4times had 2 wait about 5 min the 4th different person came 2 window with the receipt balled up an laughing nothing funny except Sonic had all teenagers with no adult supervision couldnt see what they were doing with my card no one had name plates an 3 different employee came 2 window all laughing Super James wont B hanging out here
I ordered online ahead of time. It confirmed the order was ready. We get there let them know our order # they have us wait for more than 45 mins for our order. They helped everyone that was there and that got there and still couldnt bring our order. After I let the girl know still no update on my order. Since we paid online we couldnt just leave. They shouldnt have an option to do online if they aint going to have it ready. Horrible location. Its the 2nd time. I usually dont do bad reviews but I tried to give this location the benefit of the doubt but just overall horrible. I dont recommend this location and someone needs to get on management about this. Lost my business. Never coming back.
I was disappointed after waiting for a while for a large fries, it was a half container for $3.64 luke warm ,and when i ask the young lady was this a large order she said look and see. She said yes it was,so i will not be going there in the future, thanks but no thanks.
Literally gave this location 3 tries to make it right all I wanted was chili cheese dogs.. cheese wasn’t even melted said they were fresh off the grill dog wasn’t even cooked. Refunded and nevertheless returning. Love my new location and there much cheaper FYI I’ll take 14.98 over 15.49 anyday!
I just left from up there About 10 minutes ago that was about 4:23pm. I ordered 2 #4’s large. The burgers come with an onion ring as a topping on the burger the staff did not put no onion ring on either of my burgers. I wasn’t going back up there but if I’m going to be missing food items that suppose to go with my order then I won’t come back ever again. But overall the food is good just missing my onion ring
I tried the new garlic bacon cheeseburger with a sweet tea The Burger was horrible my meal was $7.18 I gave the young cashier $20.18 He continued to give me 98 cent back and $12 in paper money..... It took me 3 minutes to Get him to understand I didnt want any loose change that was the reason I gave him the 18th cent. He just was not getting it.
Waited twenty minutes in drive thru just to end up with cold food! Burgers were not well done and cold and fries were cold. After waiting that long after just getting off a long day of work, I asked for fresh fries but kept it moving.Didn’t have the energy to even bother.
Worst fast food establishment Ive ever been to. You will be waiting for 20+ minutes. Drive through lines are not full and the place does not seem busy. Im completely baffled how it could possibly take so long to prepare a simple order. Got my order and drove away. Checked the bag and its not my order at all. Go back to the drive through, hand the woman my receipt and tell her nothing on my receipt is in this bag, I got the wrong order. She gives me this look like how dare I want the food I ordered. I give her the receipt and wait another 6-7 minutes. Take my food and drive away. Order is wrong again! Completely wrong order again! Didnt care enough to sit in the drive through a 3rd time. Never coming back here. From what I can tell this place is run by children. No management of any kind on site. Just kids that obviously dont care to even try to do their jobs.
First of all I sat and waited in one of the pull-up stations for over 20 minutes and no one took the order so then I got out of there and got inside of the drive-thru which was a little quicker but once I got up to the window I waited for almost 15 minutes just to get my food and it was cold highly disappointed
Well, Im a middle-aged woman, and this was my first Sonic experience. Im not much for fast food, but this did kind of remind me of the a&w Root beer places I went as a child, where you drive into a spot next to a menu and place your order and then eat in your car.Im a fan of onion rings generally but these onion rings have the sweetest batter that I have ever eaten, and it was like eating cake filled with onions. Not acceptable!The burger was okay. I asked for a glass of water and I got a very large glass of water but I was charged a dollar for it.
If I could I would give no stars. I understand that sometimes it is busy, but they take for ever to get your food to you. I work delivering food and there was this one order that they took almost 20 minutes to get to me. I wish they would understand that some of us are also working and not just buying food.
I went through the drive-thru in order to Philly cheese steak sandwich with no fries and no drink nothing else. So the guy says do you want anything else. So I gave him a pregnant pause. Then he says the price so I roll around to the window. He was pleasant enough. Took my money came back a little while give me my change and the sandwich. Turns out the Philly cheese steak sandwich from Sonic is not really all that great. The bond was kind of weird and the meat was kind of so-so. It was kind of messy but I expected that. So that will be my last Philly cheese steak sandwich from Sonic.Extra comment: Thanks for your comment reply. No need for additional action. I dont think the crew made the sandwich wrong, I think that the recipe and ingredients are just not appealing. Ill try a burger next time.
If i could give this location a negative 5 i would. I been waiting since 732pm and its 802pm to receive my order, which was a dammm signature lemonade and some tot fries unbelievable how its run by 17 18 yr old kids which give you a bad attitude. They really need to be have a better management because this is ridiculous... -5 🌟....👎
Something is up there. Pulled in to grab a quick drink. Five minutes at the drive thru call box without an acknowledgment from staff. Then a voice said hed be with me shortly. Ten more minutes, and nothing. Ten more minutes, nothing.I understand places are understaffed but, WOW! I decided I was going to see it through. 30 minutes go by, then 35 minutes. I drew the line at 40 (the curiosity of how long it would actually take was waning).9/18/21 at around 10pm. And, no, not exaggerating. I timed it on the dashboard clock. 40 minutes at the drive-through call box without having my order taken. Wowzers!
Terrible, went to the drive up menu and ordered our food and waited almost 30 minutes for our food to be brought out to us and when we got our food it was ALL COLD. My wife ordered an iced coffee that was super watered down and my slushie was mainly just juice, which means our order was made and then just sat there!!! It usually isnt a bad experience but tonights experience was absolutely terrible
I visited Sonic with my family for the 1st time. We wanted to experience the drive up service and the shakes and ice cream. We had an oreo cheesecake shake and the oreo blast. Both were very tasty and yummy. The service was quick and efficient and we would definitely go again.
So Now I Love Me Some Sonic! Now I never had any problems at any of the other locations I’ve previously visited. First time bringing my wife here. Was a HUGE MISTAKE. Right from the beginning I had a bad feeling. Pressed that infamous red order button. 15 Whole Minutes went by No response. Decided to give the drive through a go since we clearly weren’t going to get service anytime soon and the line was moving. The person who took our order had a very difficult time hearing me even though there was a nice LARGE sign saying to speak up for wind. Still A clear understatement as she couldn’t clearly hear me every step of the order. Then after confirming that the order was complete $34 later after she cleary repeats Then after waiting another 10 mins we finally get to the window and guess what? Our whole order was never taken at all… BELIEVE THAT She asked us what we order with handful of receipts/orders then starts reading them off in hopes one of them is our order and they had none of it. SO Who exactly exactly did we talk to when ordered? Mind you she’s wearing headphones completely unprofessional probably why she couldn’t hear me? To make matters worse she Didn’t offer some sort of a real solution to Their problem. Told us to park in the stall and wait some more. Last time ever coming to this location since. Very Disappointed in the service we received here today. If you have this same issue and your reading this the Burger King directly across the street will help you out since they can HEAR and was accommodating better than the disservice we received. Totally condemning this place permanently for me. Highly disappointed.
I only ordered 2 drinks online, which took more than an hour to get!! After waiting in a stall for 30 minutes some girl finally picked up with an attitude, I told her I had an online drink and she responded with “okayyyy” not even asking what the name of the order was … she didn’t respond at all after that nor brought me my drinks, I waited another 20-25 minutes, I pressed the button again and a nice guy answered and apologized for having me wait and brought me my drink in under 5 minutes. Im convinced it was the same girl who gave me attitude at the drive-through a few minutes earlier and was making me wait purposely. So many more little details that I’m not including in this review, but hands down the worst experience ever. That girl should be fire.
If you are going to want to order some food online better be prepared to wait almost an Hour for your food. My break was Over by the time I had received the order. My fries and Burger were cold and on top of that the delivery driver said they had him going in circles from a Stall to drive thru back to the stall just to have four cars get there food before they acknowledged him that he was there.
I ordered 4 Sundaes diferent flavors, none of them had the whipped topping or cherry + a ice coffee, only ice in a cup 20% coffee. When I asked for the manager a guy about 17years old came to the window and said. The description of products on the website dont mean that the sundaes or ice coffee will be served that way. Take it or leave it. So I leave it. Never going back! Very disrespectful personnel cashier and manager.
Chose the drive thru as I just wanted a shake and a snack, while I was waiting saw that if I download the app I can get a discount on the shake I wanted so I do that, when its my turn approach the speaker to order and ask if I need to order it in the app or can they just enter a code and I order it at the speaker. ***app disclaimer *** apparently the app is not directly affiliated with sonic so they operate seperately and whats advertised in the app does not have to be honored by the location. Also, app is only Applicable for drive in not drive thru.Anwho, the shake was tasty, new banana pudding tastes like banana Laffy taffy, the popcorn chicken and jalapeño bites were good too, quite pungent in pepper smell which wasnt really good or bad just noticed. They are definitely understaffed because I was in that drive thru line upwards of 20 mins total and I didnt see the orders in front of me receive anything outrageous. So just expect a potentially long wait time and consider going there for its specialty, the drive in aspect.
After paying for food, my disabled sister had to use the bathroom but was told only children is allow to use it, (no sign displays this on the bathroom door) the rude carhop told us to go to Target and use their restroom, we requested a refund on our food! Bad customer service!
I’ve given this Sonic so many chances over the past 3 years. I thought maybe it was management, maybe it was a one-off, etc. Nope. They have horrible service and quality of food. The fries I got today were legit old. They were hard and dry and warm - probably had been just sitting under the warmer for a while. The burger was LOADED with Mayo, like 5x the amount you’d ever get on a burger. It was horrible. The kids chicken tenders were wet on the inside. I almost threw up. I can’t imagine giving that to my child! The customer service isn’t good or bad - it doesn’t exist. People aren’t friendly that work here. I will say the ice cream was good, but I still officially give up on this location. I’ve had an issue every single time I’ve visited.
Showed up after getting out of midway airport and pull up at 11:37pm and they told me through the drive through that they were closed. I looked online they were open until midnight. I was confused and asked them again what time they close and they wouldn’t answer the questions and kept saying we are not taking orders anymore. At 11:37?? This was the first time I even gave sonic a try. Forget it now ha never seen a fast food spot stop taking order thirty mins before closing.
My family swung by sonic today with the hope of having drinks while we were out. It took about 10 minutes with 3 cars passing us in another drive thru to get our order placed. Our order was supposed to be 1 chocolate mini shake, 1 Oreo mini shake, 1 rt 44 limeade with cherries and lime and 1 small chocolate shake. We were charged for an extra chocolate shake and while other cars went around us and received their orders before us, we sat at the drive thru window for over 15 minutes (seriously not exaggerating here) with no communication. We decided to go ahead and return the extra shake and while they had our drinks ready, they kept everything until they recharged us. The limeade I ordered was also wrong since they gave me a cherry limeade. I was specific in how I ordered but it was still wrong. Ultimately they corrected the extra charge but we had to ask for the receipt and they kept the original. This was a terrible experience. We probably wont be coming back to this location.
Supposed to be open til midnight, was picking my wife up from work down the road from them, I pulled into d/t to get a drink while I waited for her to get off work. It was 11:52, all I wanted was a drink, but I was told that they were closed, so why advertise being open til midnight if youre going to close early when you want. Unfortunately, my son loves Sonic, and this is the only one around us, it I would not go back sgain
Shakes are great! Enjoy their bacon and egg scramblers.Returned 7/1/2020. Still sitting at stall 4. Waited 20 and they havent taken our order yet. I have to use the restroom and bathroom is not open. 25 minutes later both sides received their food we hadnt even ordered yet. We just left.
Horrible service. Don’t give you the exact order that you order. Have to keep pushing the button for the missing item they didn’t give you. Even for the drink. It’s more ice than the drink. It’s always a problem at this sonic in Cicero, IL. Don’t come to this one for bad experience. Also the drive through takes about 15 minutes to receive your order. A drive thru supposed to be fast.
First time at sonic and I Came at 10pm it said online they close at 12am the drive thru person spoke so lightly couldn’t hear then they left me hanging there for 15 minutes with a line behind me and then I had to scream hellooo and still nothing to ended up going to the drive in section, I asked for the cheesecake shake they said they weren’t making it at this time so I said okay then a lemonade and they said they have no lemonades or shakes. Just pure laziness. I ended up going to McDonald’s 🙃🙃
Drove there for the OREO cookie dough blast.. Said they had NO oreos.. Girl in front of me got the wrong order.. Caused a massive scene, screaming yelling, The workers were nice, they were trying.. it was very busy.. But most likely wont go back here. Way too busy, Not enough workers.. I probably sat in the drive thru for about 15 minutes for some ice cream...
Id give it 3 stars but it was my partners first time here and he loved the food. It is really good and worth the price you pay as long as its hot and fresh which it was. Also our wait wasnt long. I was more annoyed with the servers and the going lady who took our order. Two no. 3 no tomato with fries. Simple right? Came out with one fry and one tater tot. Listening is fundamental. Also the server was just... Super unhappy looking. I get that it is hot as hell and I am certain the kitchen is crowded and busy as well. But a hello wouldnt have killed him. Especially when my partner is being super friendly and youre just not responsive. Ill try another location in the future.
Today was a great experience, the food was fresh, hot and the young lady the hopper had awesome customer service.Normally, the workers seem like they dont want to be there and often times the fries/tots are going much the way of McDonalds, great on tv as fresh, but not in person!
I sat with my daughter at the drive through for over 5 minutes I thought maybe the speaker was busted so I pulled in a stall & pressed the red button waited over ten minutes then went to the window. The young kid working the drive up window asked what stall & I told him, he said some one will be right with me & we still waited another & I still waited another 5-10 minutes... terrible service. I feel like they need more adults to keep the food coming out.
Went there around 2:30pm today and I advised the lady my order was wrong the last time I came. Seem like everytime I call I can’t get through. Which I told them. The last Daniela said she would tell the manager. She then asked if I had my receipt no I didn’t. Then I was told there wasn’t anything they can do then. Btw highly allergic to tomatoes so I couldn’t even eat it last time. So I decided to all again as I pulled away they kept saying hello acting like they couldn’t hear me. Such poor service. Disappointed and I always go there
Takes a long time to get served, the BLASTS have some toppings on top but then its pretty much just pure vanilla ice cream. The food was cold and both times I have gone they get the order wrong. The one redeeming factor is they are nice. Friendly workers but unorganized and overall poor experience.
Online orderIt was terrible! I ordered so itd be ready once I came, and when I got here I checked to get my food. The employee answered and said OK give me a minute and 5 min went by. So pressed again to see what was going on and the employee just said I said a minute, so I got upset and asked why it was taking too long for her to get the food and just said the online order just cam in 2 min ago. I would have understood if she said that in the beginning and not have me wait 20 extra min for the food. Its how she is saying it and not what was said. She was rude and had no customer service!!
Sonic ice cream is good but when you get a blast of any flavor i notice they fill the cup up with vanilla then top it with whatever flavor you request..so if you eat all the top of your blast no that the rest is just plain vanilla..i order a Strawberry ice cream blast and the Strawberry was great till i got half way through the cup when it was filled with plain vanilla..thats not cool
Horrible. They encourage the mobile app to avoid long waits but I was better off waiting in line. We pre-order on the app, waited in one of the bay areas. The order showed prepared, then Hilda was bringing out the food, and then nothing. Nothing as if the order was completed and in our hands. One watress seen us looking and waiting for 20 mins., so I decided to ask her what happened with the order. She apparently went inside to get the order but still serviced other customers.. I tried even hitting the call button before going to the drive-thru window, nothing. I gave up, went to the drive-thru window and asked why we were waiting 45 mins. at this point for an order that said would be done in 17 mins. When they finally brought the food it was obvious the food was sitting out the entire time and forgot since they were probably waiting for a shake we order (I know those take longer) but still come on. Hilda the manager cleared the order and forgot about us. When I told them I just wanted a refund, frustrated and hungry at this point and over this place, thats when they said no refunds on the app order. We have to call a 1-800 number.. so unless you dont care to wait a long time for your food, get it cold, and a bunch of kids running around with no organization then this is your place.Never returning to this location and making sure all my friends and family never have to deal with this horrible experience by sharing this experience.
I would not recommend this sonic to nobody . When they took my order , I had to repeat my order 3-5 times . The customer service was terrible . The only person that really helped us out was Kiera . When they brought our order out it was missing a meal . When I went to show the supervisor the mistake that was made she sent out the other employees like she didn’t want to be bothered . Kiera made sure that the order got completed .
I decided to give them one more try and what do you know attitude. They dont know if im new or not which it shouldnt matter. I dont no if there are too many teens working or if you just have to much on your menu, maybe they do no get paid enough. What ever the deal is I do not appreciate the rude, smart at the mouth services. If they dont like there job they shouldnt work there. They messed up my order and the food was cold. Too many issues.
I thought the speakers where broken. Waiting over 10 minutes. I pass to front to place my order at window and she takes order of person behind me. After calling if anyone can hear me. . Worst service ever. The same thing happened last week. You guys need training in customer service.
Food is great. Just hope that the employees cook the food properly. I have often gotten hard overcooked tater tots and very cold burger buns. After a good amount of times of complaining I cant believe they have not fixed the issue in over a year.Its happened often so check your bag before you leave the window or parking lot to request a refund or to get another order for whatever your issue might be.
I am extremely disappointed with the service, i waited at a stall for 30 mins before i was told i can only order at the drive thru. when i approached the drive thru speaker, i was greeted by a female and i stated i wanted two number two’s and she said excuse me and i said can i get two number two’s , and i was ignored for 5 minutes. my past experiences during the day were nothing like this.
Is this place supposed to be slow? Like, even McDonalds with a whole line out the drive thru is faster than this people. Is the third sonic Ive gone to because the kids I take care of like their corn dogs and mozzarella cheese sticks. However, every time, it takes ages. Sorry kiddos. No more sonic.
Very Bad Service. Do not waste your time at this Sonic on Cicero. Sometimes reviews you read are spot on and you should go by them. I wish i did. Having to wait for 1 hour for 4 ice cream blasts is not acceptable. There are not that many customers here and they still cannot provide halfway decent service. There are other ice cream options available aout there. Save yourself the aggravation and stay away from this Cicero Sonic.
Great shakes! The service here is quite good. It can take a few minutes for your order but thats only because your items are made fresh to order. (At least the drinks are anyway) If you are in the area I would suggest dropping by. It is only drive thru or stall but its worth it.
Dear God please avoid this place if possible!!!!!You will get treated like absolute trash at this place, they truly don’t care if your food is wrong or if the completely disrespect you. Ordered a number 1 no cheese with a side of onion rings and a shake. Have to wait about 10 - 15 min give or take for my food in the drive through. Pull into a parking spot just to make sure there’s no cheese and well there is. So i go back inside, left my shake inside my 95 degree car to melt for my correct food. I asked to talk to the manager and for my food to be replaced correctly this time. The kid at the front counter just grabs by food and walks away...... Comes back and just slaps it onto the counter..... I asked if there was any chance there’s cheese on it and he replied with nope, so i say thank you and he just says nothing..... Trusting that they food is right I drive 10 min to my house to find.... yup even more cheese than the first time...... Don’t come here if you want the wrong food or to be disrespected!
Food seems fresh always, BUT you will be waiting on your food for a while, and the drive thru is especially slow. I often order and have to go back because they missed something or messed it up, so check your food before you leave the parking lot if you go in the drive thru. I once was here for 40 minutes... went to one of the stalls, waited 10 minutes after pressing the button, then proceeded to the drive thru, waited more... beeped, and then 2 other people on the other drive thru lane were helped before me. Then I went to that lane instead and ordered, told a manager what happened, and they didnt even do anything for me. Then I had to go back because they messed up my kids meal. Only thing stopping them from getting a 1 star is the fact that the food is good, but the service is always awful for me every time I go. Dont expect the best service.
I live close by and my son and I have gone here 2 times separately and no one was working. No answer at the drive in or drive through. It was about 9pm on a week day. This was within the last 6 months. I would say they mess up the drive through orders about 1/3rd of the time. Always check before you drive off. Foods not bad. We just stick with standard cheeseburgers, tots and drinks. Tried the boneless wings once and only once.
Shakes & food were great.Only down side is the large shake come with a dome lid so when trying to grab it out of the drink carrier the lid pops off and all the ice cream that melted a bit spills all over. Straws were pointless because the chunks clog the straw, spoon or wider straw would work best! Drinks were crammed with ice on an already freezing day making our drinks watered down.Service was great and very attentive when it comes to you receiving your correct order. Over-all family was happy making momma happy!Yes, my family would visit again.
I hate coming to this Sonics because the staff is incredibly slow, they make you wait a long time. On top of all that they always manage to mess up my order. And to make things worse, they’re always giving attitude.They also make you wait at the drive through line and they’ll take someone else’s order before yours, even though, you pulled up to the speaker first.
Ordered from Uber Eats and they completely messed up our order. Like they didn’t even read what it was supposed to be. Ordered a large chocolate shake, a medium vanilla shake and an order of pretzels and cheese. Never got the pretzel’s and received 2 medium cookie’s and cream shakes.
First there was no tater tots no jalapeno poppers after a 20 minutes wait asked what happened to the order another 5 minutes for a response let them know to cancel the order. Asked what happened young lady or anyone knew what happened to the order very bad service the worst thing is she kept saying I dont knowVery disappointed and frustrating when they dont have any reasonable response to what happened to the order.no apologies
Last time we placed an order, we ordered bacon cheese burgers and after a looooooon waiting time, we got just a cheese burger NO BACON and they charged us for bacon and she even said 2 bacon cheese burgers, right? We called to complaint and they just hung up on me, never going to that place again!
Zero stars for me waited 25 min for my order and to make things worse they had my order wrong..but wait theres more after the issue we notice my daughter was missing her plain bacon cheese burger but she had her fries and kids drink and toy definitely will not be coming back
The service from the order taker was horrible. She missed to add an item to my order so theres no point in ordering it now and letting the food get cold. And the incorrect drink was brought out by the carhop to me. Now Im waiting on it.Wait time for my lemonade added an extra 10 minutes.Side Note:Hilda is the manager during this shift. She also happened to be the order taker. A manager that cant provide friendly service to say the least isnt one that can be responsible of others. Imagine how she must treat the employees.
You get almost McDonalds prices with 3x the quality and creativity of food. I would say the only thing to stay away from is the wings. They taste like bad frozen food section wings. The burgers and hot dogs and everything else is great. I love their selection of drinks and milkshakes. After 8pm milkshakes are half off. I love it. They are the best milk shakes I have ever tasted in my entire existence lol My favorite meal is the number 3 combo. Fat, juicy, and tasty with tots. The wait time is fair. I come here regularly
Every time I come to this sonic, it’s always the same thing all the time the service is so bad. We order two drinks and some fries we waited for 5 minutes then this other car just ordered and they get their food and drinks way before us and they had a lot more things they ordered all we had was three things. Every single time we come it’s bad service all the time.
I would of rated this higher, only issue was Everytime I have a promo thats sent to me via text this location is not aware. This morning the individual that took my order and its been the same all the time question me if it was that location. I mention this the only one I frequent. I do get my orders honored with the promotion, but thats not good to know that your location is not aware of the promotion texts been sent out from your company. Again great service.
Restaurant wasnt crowded but took about 10 minutes to order. Had to push red button twice because it timed out the first time. Our food finally came and fries/tater tots were cold. As long as it took to order and the food to get to my car I didnt see point in making a fuss. I ordered a strawberry cheesecake shake, my husband ordered just a strawberry shake. I asked carhop which was which and she wasnt sure. It took us a few minutes of testing back and forth to figure it out. Not my best experience with them but I do like the shakes so I most likely will return.
So me and my spouse had an issue on our previous order we were extremely dissatisfied and we live a good 30 minutes away my spouse decided to call in she spoke with Chris the manager and he is extremely understandable in regards to the issue his apologies were sincere and he was able to redo the order making everything fresh and even added an extra drink shout out to Chris Thank you very much keep up the good work Chris K
Rude service, I waited for someone to response for over 5 mins no one did so I pressed the button again, the young lady rushed my order as she spoke rudely during the process as if she were annoyed, my suggestion is Sonic trying hiring people who actually enjoying doing their job instead of rude people who make everyone else’s job harder
Normally I like going to this location because the workers are very friendly but that just wasn’t the case today. I visited this location around 3:45 pm and young lady that was waiting on me was the rudest ever. I asked for the #12 she rushed me through my choices, I asked if they had fries, she never answered my question. She only replied in a very frustrating tone “ tater tots or fries” then I asked for onion rings ( her response was out! ) I asked for 2 pretzels with cheese, again the only reply was “ out!” By then I had it with ignorance and drove off. Needless to say, not happy and probably won’t be back 😥😥
It was a horrible experience, Ive never experienced this from them before Im usually pretty okay with the service but it was just horrible and the food was disgusting. I had to send my food back because it was the wrong order and it wasnt made correctly, I almost said forget it because I didnt trust what would happen to my food considering I had a complaint. The young that was taking the orders were a little rude but the young man that came out to the car was very pleasant and apologetic for our experience there that day which was yesterday.
They never give me the right order. I ordered a simple master shake and they gave me something completely wrong twice. The time before I ordered a kids meal and it was incorrect and forgot my drink completely.. service sucks. Like the literal worst.. food is decent though whenever they do get it right.
I like Sonic a lot. Its gotten a little pricy, but usually the quality is worth it. Not at this Sonic. Its the only Sonic remotely close to me, so Ive given them several chances. Plus its close to Home Depot and the Menards that Im frequently at. Out of the maybe 10 visits, only one has been great. Tator tots are always cold, burgers are always sloppily made, cherry limeades never have limes or cherries in them, no napkins, no differentiation or notification which drinks are diet or regular. Corn dogs yesterday were burnt. Theres a sign that says if you dont get a receipt, ask for a manager, so I did. The lady that had taken my order and not given me my receipt said she was the manager. She said sorry, and was kind of snotty. From the way that other employees have been, I can believe she was the manager.
Every single time I’ve been here they’ve taken NO LESS than 45 minutes to give us our food (no matter how little we get). As I’m writing this we’ve been waiting more than half an hour for 2 shakes and tater tots. The car next to us ordered half the menu and they STILL got their food before us.
Well I went to apply at sonic drive-in and I think it went pretty smoothly, the woman gave me a series of questions that I was able to answer. In the end I got hired! But to start my first day I need a few things, then I give her a call and I start my first day. I think Im going to enjoy working at sonic drive-in. 😁
Employees have a tendency to mess up orders. Not that I blame them nesseciarily because some genius thought a great place for a drive in was along a street that gets large amount of loud heavy truck traffic. Hence my cheeseburger came without cheese. What saves the place is their cherry limeade slushies for me. Otherwise place is completely mediocre in all aspects of food
Theyre always slow at this location... but this last time, I got a slushy w nerds, paid for extra nerds actually, and there was only a small sprinkle of candy. So I went back and there was a different girl at the window and she gave me an attitude, saying that what I was given was extra. She did add some in, but I was very polite and dont think her attitude was necessary, Im assuming it was she who had made it
Most recent experience was we order 2 shakes and a pop and they came back with a pop 3 shakes and not one of them the flavor we order guy took them back came back with same vanilla one just added strawberries but was supposed to be strawberry cheesecake but no cheescake they used the same old vanilla shake they initially brought the other one same was wrong and no oreos . We left spend more then 30 min waiting for it and wrong and melted at the endOnce we Waited 30 min 2 drinks busy supposedly but took out a big order that arrived 10 min after us. They forgot about us.
I love sonic but their service sucks at times. I ordered small milkshakes and they gave me all large and I didnt know which was which. It had no indications, not mark like other restaurants mark with markers so you dont get it mixed. Simple solution right, they had a problem with it. I ordered like six shakes and all was different. And they messed up one after they fix it. I complained later about the food and they never did anything about it
I went in to get some food for my kiddos I waited an hour in the drive-through I got charged for something I did not order the weather was very hot and I asked for a least for a cup of water for my kiddos they refuse they said it was two dollars for a cup of water unacceptable water should be free to customers that purchase something very upset ever again definitely one star I will definitely rate it zero stars if that was an option but unfortunately it was not an option to rate it zero stars very very bad customer service never again
I come here for my kids. I dont care for it. The guy at the carhop speaker was very rude to me today. Other times that I order slushies theyre basically water.*UPDATE*I ordered boneless wings, took them 10 min to let me know they were out.I ordered tots they gave me COLD FRIESThey give me my order, Im missing the smores shake. Theyre out too. But if I hadnt said anything they wouldnt of done anything to fix the problem.I always try to give another chance, but Im done.
Its your average Sonic. My only complaint is...they dont have garbage cans outside ! No where near my vehicle (and I got out to look around) is there any place to throw out the garbage. Its the only place we go where my kids dont have to wait to get home to eat, so after were done Id love to throw away all the wrappers/food waste thats usually not even allowed in my jeep
I will never order from this location again. The customer service is ghetto and thats me being nice about it. The employees here have time to write illiterate sarcastic remarks on the back of your receipts while forgetting to include the items youve paid for. This location is a joke!
Customer service here is not what it used to be. They are constantly confused, only to be worse when it is busy. Ordered 2 slushies (blue raspberry) neither of which had any flavor the slush in the cup was completely white. The manager was a great help over the phone, however in person was quite rude.
Oh my gosh they r so rude. I went there with my grandkids pushed the button one of the kids undecisive still she tells me are u ready to order or not. There prices r ridiculous. There food is horrible. The burger thats was 1.99 i believe is so small and it was put together so sloppy it looked disgusting. The fries were nasty cold and looked old kids did not eat them. The portions for wat i paid were extra small. Neeeeeeveeerrr again. Mcdonalds was across the street had to go there to get fries. I regret trying something new like sonic. There horrible if it was up to me no stars.
First time at a Sonic. I ordered at a stall, waited for almost an hour, thinking it might be a busy day or something. I didnt want to be one of those guys expecting their food right away, but after an nearly an hour I decided to ask about my order, turns out it was never taken in the first place. At least I got my food.
Last time I was there I literally waited a whole 30 minutes for my food, i pressed the button to check on the status, and was told my order was given to me, impossible I never received it and never left they check on my order and they gave my order to a whole other car🤦🏼♀️
Waited for more than 1 hour for 4 blasts. I asked 2 times on the speaker was told order was coming. Order never came and does not sound like it will. Ordered through the app to not wait in line. I shouldve waited in line. But guess what? There is no line. This place should not be open if they cannot offer decwnt service. We as customers will settle for decent. Not even great service. This is a restaurant that you normally order and pay from your car and they bring out your food. They have good hot dogs of various types, good burgers, chili cheese fries, onion rings, and very nice assortment of shakes and slushies. The prices maybe slightly higher for a fast food restaurant, but you do get generous quantities.
There’s no way I should be this stressed visiting any establishment. I get a headache every time. Not anymore. I’m lucky if I get the flavor I request. I get peach often, So I know the color it should have etc. today I received something clear. Can’t tell you what it even tastes like besides red bull. I’ve shared my poor experience at this Cicero,IL location before, only to hear nothing back regarding it. I’m pretty much sick of the poor service, and inconsistency of an accurate order. I’m done
I was waiting on the drive thru for 5 to 10 minutes when only 1 car was ahead of me. When I got my half price cheeseburger. Which was ice cold had way to much mustard. And the cheese wasnt melted. Of course how could it,be,on a Freezing Cold Burger. Never will go back to this place.
I waited in the drive thru for over a half hour for my food, my sandwich was wrong once I got to the window and told the girl my sandwich was made incorrectly she rolled her eyes at me and slammed the window shut in my face, 10 minutes later she threw the wrong sandwich out the window at me again, I had to lay on my horn to get anyones attention, finally someone came back to the window and made my sandwich correctly I only had to wait almost an hour. I will NEVER go back here EVER again! Terrible service!!
They had us waiting ATLEAST 20 minutes to order. When they picked up they just said to hold on. Eventually it hung up itself or idk if they hung up on us but when i callled in again put us on hold AGAIN. We just left. Worst service ever. It only gets two stars though because i happened to like the shakes. If it wasnt for that it would get one.
Our waiter was AMAZING! he played around this us to guess our shakes, gave the babies free apple juice and apple sauce, and when one of us decided she wanted a different shake he changed it. He checked on us too. The shakes were fire too. Best Sonic visit Ive ever had.
Service was really poor. I waited 15 minutes for 2 drinks. I asked for my money back and the girl kept telling me to hold until they brought my drinks out. Did not even apologize for the wait. She even asked why should she be sorry for. Not a friendly place at all. I’ve only been to this place twice since it opened, and the first time was even worse.

2021-11-24I asked for ketchup, the cashier said wait a second then came back to the window and say no more ketchup. Did not offer another sauce. Then I open my burger & the edges are burnt. No napkins in my bag. SadDont recommend. Too many bad reviews. If I had read first I would have never stop for food here.

2022-04-26Ordered on the mobile app and waited for 44 minutes. When I asked for an update, they said they were working on it. 20 minutes later, asked for another update. They just asked if we checked in, which we had. They didnt say anything else. Asked for another update after 15 minutes. They finally apologized after they realized they had forgotten our order. Quite irritated. Poor customer service.Edit: When we finally got our order more than 1.5 hours after we put it in, they gave us two single cheeseburgers instead of the two double cheeseburgers we ordered. We didnt even bother to ask them to correct it because we were exasperated. After reaching out to Sonic, they simply provided us with a coupon for one free rt44/slush. Probably will never go back to this location again. 🗑

2022-04-22The food was OK once I got it. It took a long time to get a drink, corn dog, a large mozzarella stick. About 15 min. I was the only person in the drive through. To be far, I dont know if they had some sort of issue in the store or a lot of other orders through different means. But I was not informed of any issues as to why. They did apologize for the wait but that was it.Side note: not sure how much the store can do about it, but it is very loud with all the traffic that drives by on the street, so it was hard to hear the person taking the order. Not sure if they can turn up the volume or if the speaker needs to be fixed or upgraded.

2022-07-24The only good thing about it was the young lady with the blue hair tips trying to fix the problem. The gentleman on the speaker was not clear and cut off the mic. Then drive thru no response. Then when we got the order it was not complete. Had to go back and again the young lady helped the situation

2022-05-08First time going to Sonic and probably the last! Was excited to take my family for the first time so drove through mid-day Saturday traffic from the other side of the city. Nothing fast about it! Waited at a drive in space for probably 10 minutes to place an order and was never helped. Decided to go through the drive thru thinking itd be faster but sat at the 1st intercom for another 10 minutes and again was never helped! Meanwhile 3 cars came and went through the 2nd intercom and placed their orders so we thought maybe 1st intercom isnt working SO we drove back around the restaurant back to the drive thru to try intercom 2 wheres theres already 3 cars in front us. Now we are waiting our turn and a truck pulls up to the empty intercom 1 and gets there order taken right away!!!! Seriously?! At this point we decided never again! We spent practically 1 HOUR between getting there and finally getting our food! Ive never ever had an experience like this at a fast food place in all my life! Sonic in Cicero, thanks for ruining our first Sonic experience :(Food was good but get it together with your customer service. It stinks!

2022-07-19First time trying sonic and the food was ok nothing special. I ordered the Oreo shake for my son and they gave me a regular straw which was IMPOSSIBLE to drink the shake since it was so thick. I ordered the cheesesteak and it was ok but bland. I also got the chicken buffalo wings which were a the size of a quarter.
