Slumberland Motel in Waukegan
If i could give this place a negative 100 I most definitely would! My boyfriend and I came here as a last resort because all the other hotels in the area were booked. They charged us $50 for the night and OMG when we opened the door the stench threw us back. There was Graffiti all on the bedpost as well as the ceiling. To make a long story short we ended up having to call the police to even receive a refund. The cops even said the attendant was drunk. If you have any decency about yourselves I would take this advice and dont go there. Dont even turn in their lot. Trust me, you would rather sleep in your car before sleeping in their bed.
Horrible room stinks ,carpet dirty,phone line cut, wall lamps cables cut, cigarette holes in very thin comforter, no adult movie channel, walls dirty, ceiling dirty, price not worth renting room. No bulbs in wall lamps, floors dirty.
Excellent service. Knowledge of all products. Definitely recommend family and friends to use their services.
Its nasty room is disgusting!! Within the g first 10 mins of being in the room my an my husband laid down on the bed an BED BUGS WERE CRAWLING ON MY HUSBANDS LEG!! NEVER AGAIN!! I WOULD RECOMMEND NOT EVER GOING THERE! WORST DISGUISING MOTEL EVER!!!

2022-03-09This was our last minute booking because our flight was delayed. Yes it was a bit run done and old. Our room was very clean for how old everything was. Maybe we got the best room. lol. If you dont mind the area and an old motel, this is the one for you. I would stay again if the same circumstances arose again. Not a motel to stay at for a vacation.

2022-03-15Disgusting…filthy….asquerosidad….honestly not a place to go stay if you have children I’ll rather pay a little more knowing my kids are safe and not sleeping in such filthy rooms in the office they have a paper saying they do not refund after checking in but honestly they should refund you the money cause this place is totally not worth $55 probably wont even pay $20 for this honestly poor poor rooms bathrooms are really nasty just the whole room in general is filthy

2021-10-11I used to stay here often. Especially nextdoor at the Bel lane a few years ago. Sucks they tore it down. Rooms good value and the Owner and staff very nice. Thank you

2021-09-21Despite what and how this motel is have spend night where and i like the relaxing and the pace the room not million dollar rooms but for a cheap price i would go there this will be my 5th time and i like the relaxing and pace of mind.....no problem for me.

2019-04-26The place has visual appeal on the outside, but is very disappointing on the inside of the room. The room I was in had a hardwood floor with a curled up rug at the door. Much of the baseboards were missing. The lamps were broken and other light fixtures were in poor shape. The room also had an undesirable odour to it. There was no heat in the room and a bathroom window was boarded up. The closet was unusable and bathroom vanity was in poor condition. I have never seen such a poorly maintained property in my life! This place was certainly not worth the price they asked for.

2020-02-08The WORST place Ive ever been. Filthy cant even begin to describe it. There were massive dirt, clumps and layers of dirt on the walls the ceiling the shower liner. They charge 55 and its not even worth that much. The tv that was in the room I had besides being a box set... It looked as if someone set it on fire. If you have no other choice but to stay here bring your own sheets blankets cleaning supplies soap and towels. Bleach or lysol is a must!!!!

2019-09-10The TV didnt work, but thats ok, I had my cockroach friends to keep me company, one of them took out a piano and started playing we are family for some reason. They also had the leader cockroach named crawl inmabutt and he tried getting inside me, but I said NO. But then we became friends and now I have 5 new pets here at home. 10 stars in my opinion

2020-03-09Not bad for the price! Cheapest in town.. Not the most clean or modern motel room but from what i hear it is safer than it has been in the past. I wont lead you to believe its extravagant.... But it is worth the money.

2014-12-12This place literally looks like a crime scene. we were charged 57 dollars for a night. i didnt even fully cross the threshold before i sent my husband to get our money back. after they argued that the room was fine, they decided to offer their best room. needless to say nothing was better. noticing we were not impressed the attendant offered us free porn! odviusly completely oblivious to our children standing next to us. this place is disgusting at first glance. dont waste your time. if i could give this place negitive stars it would definitely have16 negitive stars!
