I saw urologist, Dr. Monn and had a consultation about a prostate issue. I was billed for the consultation and a urine flow meter test. The problem is I did not have a flow meter test. I called the billing department and they transferred me to Dr. Monn’s office. Told them the issue and proceeded to transfer me back to billing. No resolution whatsoever! I received another bill today saying my payment was late. I paid it for fear of it affecting my credit score. To say this is frustrating is an understatement. Come on SIU, you can do better! How can you bill for a procedure I did not have?

I had an appointment in February and received a bill in the mail for it. Okay, no big deal, paid it. A few days later, I received the exact same bill again, but over paymybill. Now, I’m not just going to blindly pay the same bill twice, so I called the billing department to see if this was an error or if I had a separate bill to pay. The woman on the phone was extremely rude. She did not ask for my account number initially, and once I gave it to her she very rudely let me know that “As she SAID,” (which she had not said) my account balance was at zero and I did not have anything to pay. She didn’t even give me a chance to respond before hanging up on me, she didn’t ask if I had any other questions, and did not explain why the bill is still on my paymybill account if my balance is at zero.In all; terrible experience with SIU billing & customer service. I’m sure she wouldn’t have hung up if I hadn’t paid!

Calling to speak with someone always takes a while. I’m typically on hold for at least 30-45 minutes each time. When I asked how long my call back would take, the staff I spoke with was very rude and unpleasant. When I gave them my call back number, I was hung up on. Hopefully their customer service will improve, but this has been every interaction I have had with them.

Ive been going to one of their fertility specialists, Dr. Yonkin, since last year and they do NOT return calls, when you call back they tell you that you will receive a call back about it and never do. They finally told me what my next step was and still wont set up an appointment with me for it. Also, I had to get and HSG done and I was supposed to get it on day 1 of my cycle and they waited a week to set it up. Trying to conceive is hard enough without having to fight for a doctor to help you. They dont help you... Thank you for officially making this process even harder...

Always great support and communication. Doctors and nurses work hard and ready to give you the best care possible. Ive always felt they have put me first and work very quickly and thoroughly. Highly recommend

Was told by this dermatology dept to “put some makeup on it will be fine”. Never again will I trust these people. Instead of referring me to plastics to have places removed. They decided to treat me multiple times. And the problem areas are still there. Don’t waste your time and money. Find an actual dermatologist who knows what they are doing.

This is a review for their urology department. I’m going to start off positive. Dr. Schwartz is amazing! He is great at his job, and my complaint is not with him. It’s with the office itself. When I first got sick I went to the ER at Memorial Medical Center (which also needs MANY improvements) and was told to contact a urologist in three days and was referred to SIU. When I went in to the ER it was a Friday night, so the urologist was closed and wouldn’t be open until Monday. Monday I called and called to schedule an appointment because I was told this was an emergency. I kept being referred to a nurse who would never call me back. Tuesday again I called and called only to get no replay. Wednesday same thing. Thursday the resident called me and told me I needed to get to the hospital immediately to have emergent surgery. What a terrible office. I had to be put on medical leave because I was unable to work for 2 months. Now, I am ready to go back to work. I have bills to pay. In order to return to work this office needs to send release forms to my job saying I’ll be fine to work. I called yesterday and was referred to a nurse who NEVER called me back. Today I called again and was again referred to a nurse. How dare this office. They ignored me once and then I had to be rushed into surgery. And they’re ignoring me AGAIN when I am trying to get them to send papers so that I CAN GO BACK TO WORK. I am in medical debt, I have BILLS, I need to return to work to MAKE MONEY. THIS OFFICE IS TERRIBLE! GO ELSEWHERE IF YOU CAN. I will NEVER reefer ANYONE here. This clinic ignores their freaking patients! It’s a shame, because Dr. Schwartz is a good doctor and this clinic hinders him. The receptionist and nurse are your first impression. I would give 0 stars to this particular office if I could. Terrible people.

Simply the best hands down. I missed a couple of appointments. I got really sick. Called for a appointment they got me in within a day or so. My appointment was on a Friday. They did some blood work. I went home . Like I said this was on a Friday my phone rang at 5:30 or so it was the doctor at siu with my test results ( same day test results) my hemoglobin a1c was at 6.4 I was told at 6.5 your a diabetic. Awesome group of doctors and soon to be doctors. Internal medicine they deserve an award. Thanks Jennifer for the rushed test results right in the nick of time!!

My complaint is with the referral desk. It has been over 2 months and I have still not received 2 referrals that are vital to my healthcare. I find this inexcusable, irresponsible and reckless. I have called only to be told that I am still in the system. They put a note to tell the desk that I made an inquiry.Update...01/13/2020. I received phone calls from 3 different people. They apologized for dropping the ball on my referrals and I now have referral appointments coming soon. Thank you for taking responsibility!!
